Given that the new comedy starring Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti and Kevin Spacey isn’t out until Christmas – that’𝔉s Christmas 2007 – we’re surprised to see a teaser trailer already. But in this age of films competing for every last shred of our movie-loving attention, we don’t really blame the team behind Fred Claus.

There’s not much to see yet (obvio♈usly), but this trailer does highlight what looks to be one of the killer points of the film – the chucklesome back-and-forth between Santa (Giamatti) and Fr﷽ed (Vaughn).

With Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin behind the camera and a cast that also includes The 40-Year-old Virgin෴’s Elizabeth Banks, Rachel Weisz and Kathy Bates, this tale of Santa’s grouchy brother forced to move to the North Pole looks like it could be a comedy 💝to look forward to. Now all we have to do is wait a year…
