There has been a lot of recent chatter about Spike Jonze’s adaptation of Where The Wild Things being in some serious editorial trouble. No one seems to know for sure what’s happening with it after reports of re-shoots and disappointing test ꦯscores.

But while Jonze has been on damage control, MTV talked to Forest Whitaker , who voices one of the beasties and has seen at least one cut of the film. It seems he liked what he saw – and so did his kids. “It&rsqᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚuo;s a good movie. I saw an early cut of it. I brought my kids to see it, and I was really impressed.”
