James Gunn confirmed on Twitter that the toy lurking in the background of the Funko promotional shot is Ayesha. Movie news coming through a director’s Twitter feed via a to⛎y line is… quite something.

The Night Manager’s Elizabeth Debicki will be playing Ayesha in the Guardians sequel but, as of writing, this toy is as close as we’ve come to seeing what Ayesha will look like – and her menacing scowl is her main feature: She’s not a happy bunny. The other Guar✱dians toys had better wa♛tch their oh-so-squeezable backs. 

It’s probably worth noting that Ayesha won’t be quite as cuddly in the movie. In fact, her origins in the comics as a test-tube ‘perfect’ human sees her run roughshod over the universe looking for Adam Warlock – the ‘Him’ to her… ‘Her’.
