Owing something to ﷺcult scarer Cube, Fermat’s Room sets out its stall as an intellect🌱ual horror movie. Four mathematicians are invited to an isolated house by the mysterious Fermat.

There they’re required to solve a series of logical 🧸problems - and if they fail or delay, the walls of the room they’re trapped in start to close in 🃏around them.

This feature debut for co-directors Luis Piedrahita and Rodrigo Sopeñ♐a is never quite as clever a💖s it thinks it is, and there are some sizeable holes in the plot.

Still, with its teasing sense of play, you won’t be cr🔜awling the walls.
