Following months of leaks after the collaboration was announced in January, we've finally gotten our first official look at the range... and I don't know about you, but it goes way beyond🌌 what I'd expected. Yes, there's a brick-built version of The Going Merry Pirate Ship that the eagle-eyed may have already seen via leaked product shots. But there are four more Lego One Piece kits to go with it, and it's not even the biggest one.

You can pre-order the entire range ahead of its August 1 launch, and although the jury's still out on whether they'll charm their way onto our list of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Lego sets, they're certainly impressiv🌠e. Let's dig in, shall we?

Windmill Village Hut

The cheapes🌜t classic Lego kit takes us to a beachside store in Windmill Village, and it's designed to be a little more open-ended than you might think; although t🎃here are the One Piece references you'd hope for (including one of many wanted posters included with each set), Lego is keen to point out that it serves as a generic pirate hut too.

In terms💙 of minifigures, you're getting 🏅Luffy, Shanks, and Makino.

Buggy the Clown's Circus Tent

I🍬f I had to guess, I suspect most people will opt for this kit. Even though it's not the most iconic, it's the most recognizable at a price that won't make you shudder. In termౠs of minifigs, Buggy's Circus Tent features Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Buggy the Clown Pirate.

This is also a lot more interactive than the set down 🐬from it, the Windmill Village Hut; it includes various traps to rescue the characters from, like Luffy's water tank. That means it's a great option as a playseౠt for younger One Piece fans.

Battle at Arlong Park

OK, now we're getting to the bigger fish. This kit is even more interactive than the previous one, because you can hit the top of the pagoda to collapse it, and Luffy 𝓰comes with elongated arm pieces (seriously, why didn't they use this for Mr. Fantastic in the Fantastic Four Galactus kit?). I'm particularly keen on the stalls, namely the shooting gallery you can actually fire at with stud guns.

You're gettin🍌g five minifigures in the box: Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Chu, and⛄ Arlong.

The Going Merry Pirate Ship

OK, now we get to the most iconic set of the Lego One Piece range - the Straw Ha🌟t Pirates' ship. This kit is reminiscent of the Lego pirate ships from decades ago, and it feels wonderfully old-school as a result; it's all hard edges and chunky plastic sails.

The minifigures you're getting to🌼 crew the ship are Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji.

The Baratie Floating Restaurant

And here it is, the biggest and most impressive of all the Lego One Piece kits. It's the only one with an 18+ recommended age, crams in around three tim🦩es as many bricks as The Going Merry Pirate Ship, and has a small army of minfigures to its name. 10, actually; Luff𝕴y, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Zeff, Garp, Helmeppo, Koby, and Mihawk.

You can guarantee it's packed with references𒆙 and hidden secrets, so will ser🌳ve as a good centerpiece to any Lego One Piece collection.

Monkey D. Luffy and Buggy the Clown BrickHeadz

While they're sold separately, you can get your hands on two of One Piece's most notable characters for an asbolute steal th🅺is August - the cute, wide-eyed BrickHeadz are just $10 / £10 / AU$16. They make good mementos or presents for One Piece fans if you don'ꦗt want to spend too much or don't have loads of room for displaying kits.

W🧜hilst the attention to detail on display will delight any fan, the build sadly isn't imaginative enough to catch the eye of those unfamiliar with author Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster franchise (it's not a candidate for our list of the best Lego sets, anyway)🐓. But let's be honest – if you don't have the skin of a killer, what are you doing here?

Lego Twilight The Cullen House features

• An incomplete cast
• Some interactive elements

Given that this is the Cullen family home, you would naturally expect the complete clan to be present in adorable minifigure form. However, certain key characters including matriarch Esme and big brother Emmett are missing, which is a shame. Of course, ꦜthey had to make room for Bella, her dad Charlie Swan, and wolf boy Jacob, but surely there was room to include these crucial Cullen clan members too?

Thankfully though the minifigures included are all very cute, with the Cullens each having a glittery face, paying tribute to the🐬 fact they sparkle in both the films and the books. Bella even comes complete with the little plant she brings with her from Phoenix whilst Jacob is also created in wolf form, just in case there is a full moon.

You can place these minifigures around the house to faithfully recreate legendary scenes – admittedly we instantly had Jacob running after Bella yelling 'where the hell have you been, loca?' However, there is a lack of interactive elements meaning it's not really a set you can truly 'play'♛ with. Sure, you can attach Edward and Bella to a tree to have them flying through the woods, but aside from that all you can really do is open some windows. However, as an 18+ set, it was never really designed ❀for kids.

Build

• The house is neatly split into three layers
• General build feels repetitive
• Takes a few hours

The💖 build all staꦕrts with Bella's iconic red truck, which she rather clumsily drove in the movies. Putting together the pick-up truck is a satisfying way to begin, but sadly it is mostly downhill from there.

Given that the Cullen family home is made up of windows, wood, and grey buildin💛g blocks, building the house itself does feel repetitive, especially when so many of the pieces are very similar. Thankfully the instructions for the most part do a good job of walking you through it, but more specificity would have been nice at times with several pieces looking nearly identical and some difficu🐬lt moments too.

Cleverly though, given that the house consists of a trio of floors overall the build is split into three la♛yers, which does help break it all down. That's very much needed given that it quickly became monotonous – let'🍸s just say, I was glad I split the build over a few days.

Although the very final stages sees you bu♌ilding the more decorative elements, such as the trees that surround the house, one of the last steps sees you putting together the three layers, finally putting the house together. Sure, it is a bit fiddly getting everything aligned but when it all clicks into place, it's incredibly satisfying. I like to think of it as putting together a multi-tiered cake, with the icing on top being the surrounding elements such as the trees.

Design

• Sleek design
• Filled with Easter eggs
• A tad sparse

Everything does come together rather neatly, with the end result being appropriately slick and stylish. Just like the movie location it's based on, the design is minimalistic which may be a faithful recreation but leaves the set a tad sparse. And talking of accuracy, the colors are brighter when compared to the original house but that was arguably needed to ensure that it doesn't just disappear into the background. This is a dispꦯlay piece after all, so it needs to be vivid.

Where the design really shines is with the Easter eggs which are lovingly weaved into this set, ready for fans to uncover.𒐪 I won't spoil them all here as part of the joy of building this house is discovering these for yourself, but there are nods to that iconic baseball game and the many, many graduations the Cullen family have gone ꦅthrough.

There clearly i♎s a lot of love that has gone into this Lego Ideas set, with these smaller details easily being the most endearing parts. Some further extras wouldn't have gone a miss though, especially when features like Bella's truck are so lovingly brought to life in brick form.

Should you buy Lego Twilight The Cullen House?

If you are a Twilight fan with the money to splurge on this somewhat pricey set, then it is a must have making for an impressive display piece that wil🍨l look sleek on any shelf, easily standing out. The detailed Easter eggs means that there i🅰s plenty to uncover but some elements are disappointingly overlooked, such as the missing Cullen family members in the minifigure line-up.

Meanwhile if you aren't a Twihard there is little you can enjoy here, thanks to a lack of imagination with the main build that does get very repetitiv꧋e. This set really is just one for the fans!

New Lego sets: Botanicals

This month's new Lego sets♓ bring two of my favorite kits from the Botanicals range in quite a while: the gorgeous Red Maple and delightful Happy Plants. The former is showing off with beautiful scarlet and orange leaves that offset the artfully twisted trunk and pot nicely, while the latter is just so darn cheerful. These derpy little guys are the perfect present if you ask me, and I can see them being snapped up for birthdays or Christmas this year.

New Lego sets: Bluey

This might be the biggest release of the month, honestly - and you better believe these kits will sell like hotcakes. The Lego Bluey range (which also includes toddler-friendly Duplo) is absolutely adorable, is packed with references to the sh🍸ow that kids are gonna love, and serves as a strong foundation for what I assume will be a massive line one da൲y.

There's something to suit every budget as well, but my favorite would absolutely be the Heeler family house. Besides being the on♒ly set to get you the whole clan, it's crammed with nooks and secrets children will enjoy discovering. I appreciate the appearance of hidden little toys seen in the show as well.

New Lego sets: City

The City range goes ham on new Lego sets once again, with a full . Well, if you're in the UK or Australia, that🍷 is. The US has to wait for many of these kits aside from The City Tower, and they'll get the lineup in August.

As luck would have it, the standout would have to be The City Tower anyway. This enormous build is an impressive sight, is bustling with activity (there's something new to see wherever you look), and lines up perfectly with other kits such as the ꧅Central Train Station. I also app♏reciate the spaceship parked on the roof, of course.

New Lego sets: Disney

It's another bumper month for new Lego sets based on Disney, but one stands out from the pack - the ambitious 101 Dalmatians kit. Yes, it's a very cute puppy. But that's not why it's special. Rather, this model stands out because⛦ it can be built in a mind-boggling 101 ways. In other words, you have a lot of room to personalize your creation.

I saw this in person back in January at the London Toy Fair,💦 and can confirm that it's heckin' adorable. I was also a fan that a much cheaper option is being released alongside it too - the more modest Lucky & Penny kit.

Dreওamzzz continues apace, but only in the UK and Australia. That's because these kits aren't coming to the US until August, so hold your fire if you're hoping to grab these States𝓰ide.

Funnily enough, my favorite kit this month is the demon submarine. Because c'mon - a giant evil shark that's also a sub? That's stra🔜ight up gold. It's ridiculous, and I love it.

OK, listen. Peely & Sparkplug's Camp is very nice. The Durrr Burger Restaurant seems like a mighty fine establishment as well. But nothing in this♐ month's new Lego sets matches up to꧋ Klombo.

If I'm being honest, I didn't even know what a Klombo was until recently... but now I'd protect the giga🥂ntic baby boi until my dying breath. Just look at that derpy s♊mile and googly eyes.

What I'm saying is, I thinꦫk the new Lego Kloܫmbo set is cool.

New Lego sets: Friends

Here's another range that's getting a big release in the UK and Australia this month... but not in the US. Sorry, Stateside readers; you'll need to wait until August to get your hands꧒🗹 on the latest Friends. Well, apart from the Comic Book and Game Store - that's out this month across the board.

I feel contractually obligated to say that this is my favorite, but truth be told, I'm torn between the Family Vacation Beach Resort (the summer holiday of my dreams) and the Plant Cafe and Flower Shop, because hell yeah would I grab a coffee and chill♏ there. What a vibe.

New Lego sets: Harry Potter

Someone cast 'productivity'ꦰ on the Lego Harry Potter team, because we're awash with new Lego sets from this Wizarding World this June. Eight new kits (many of which are substantial) hit shelves this month.

While I'd love to say the Monster Book of Monsters is my favorite of the bunch (truly, as it looks like a lot of fun), the Main Tower steals all the limelight. I managed to see both at the Toy Fair 2025, but it was the Tower which dropped my jaw. Besides being an instantly recognizable silhouette, it packs in numerous iconic locations like the moving staircas🌠es, Dumbledore's office, and many of the challenges from the first film. There are numerous minifigures on show here as well.

New Lego sets: Icons

This month's new Lego sets from the Icons range are all book nooks bar one very important set (which we'll get to later), recreating iconic scenes to go on your bookshelf. Of the two we're getting in June, my favorite would be the Sherlock Holmes design. Yes, the Ba🌳lrog battle is cool - but for my money, the Baker Street kit captures the winding, cobbled streets of Victorian London beautifully in a way that feels perfect for book nook form.

However, it can't hold up to my top Icons kit of the month: Krusty Burger from The Simpsons. We've not seen Springfield in Lego form for years, and it's high time the range returned. The restaurant here is as ja🎃m-packed with references as you'd expect, and it's a reminder that there's still so much material to 𝄹mine from the long-running franchise.

New Lego sets: Ideas

It's a lighter month for new Ideas Lego sets, but my inbox has already b🐬een 🧸blowing up because of one kit - the Minifigure dispenser. This vending machine has really captured fans' imaginations by the look of it, and I can see why. Besides being fully functional if you insert a 'coin' (a mini Lego one, included in the pack), the contraption will spit out one of 16 collectible minifigs in a gumball. Ah, nostalgia.

The other kit is the Pixar lamp, which I'm ▨personally fond of. It's a cute nod to a Disney icon 😼that never gets its due.

New Lego sets: Jurassic World

Jurassic Park/World fans and dino-lovers ⛎everywhere are eating well this month. June's new Lego sets include not one but six kits based on the franchise, with everything from cute baby critters to sprawling playsets.

It's the latter which🧸 caught my eye. More specifically, the Lego Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus (no, I've got no idea how to say that either) Air Mission would be my pick. Yes, there are cool dinosaurs and an abundance of 'stuff' thanks to vehicles and terrain galore. But what I find truly🧸 appealing is the temple ruin set up. It's all kinds of Indiana Jones in here.

New Lego sets: Marvel

We're getting another Marvel bust this month in the form of ol' Shellhead, but that's not what earns my nod of approval this month. Oh no. I prefer the Fantastic Four kit with an amusingꦫly wonky Reed Richards, who looks l🌄ike he's wearing stilts.

Besides being our first good look at cosmic villain Galactus (he's been shrouded in mystery since his first r🔯eveal), it also brings together Ma♐rvel's first family with a good look at their powers. I wish they'd made Ben Grimm a larger figure like Hulk, though; it kinda looks like someone cosplaying Thing, with those toy Hulk fists.

New Lego sets: Minecraft

More playsets are dropping this month for Minecraft, but I've only got time for one kit - the rather magnificent Creeper figure. Lego was already a perfect match for the blocky game, but the Creeper proves it. It may as well have leapt from the screen into real life. It feels like fans agree, because it's currently on back-order in some regions.

Just be♍ar in mind that the Pillager Outpo꧋st and Enderman Tower are coming to the US later - August 1, to be precise.

New Lego sets: Ninjago

The Temple Bounty ship is very imprꦺessive, but man, I don't tౠhink I've ever seen a more majestic Ninjago set than the Guardian Dragon. Its size and pose give it a truly regal demeanour. While it makes an ideal playset, it'd also be a good centerpiece for any Ninjago collectors.

Still, it's wor✱th noting that most of these are only available this month in the UK and Australia; aside from the Guardian Dragon mentioned above and the Fire Knight Mech, which📖 are already here, they'll be arriving in the US during August.

New Lego sets: Speed Champions

It's a 'only one set' kinda month for Speed Champions this June, but the kit in question is gaudy enough to make up for going solo. A recreation of the Honda♍ S2000 from 2 Fast 2 Furious, it's an electric pink design that you couldn't miss at any distance.

New Lego sets: Star Wars

It's a funny old month for Star Wars; while there are three kits hitting shelves in June, they're smaller kits that will have a lot of hype surrounding them despite the modest size. I'm pretty sure 🥂this is the first time we've gotten a Plo Koon minifigure, for example, and the Death Trooper/Night Trooper pack is a great army builder if you're hoping to construct Grand Admiral Thrawn's undead army.

𓃲I've got a liking for the latter; the shining gold repair-work on busted Stormtrooper armor is striking,♎ and really helps the minifigs pop.

New Lego sets: Technic

Technic is at its best with big,ꦓ unnecessarily detailed car replicas, so there's no surprise I'm shining a spotlight on the premium 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skylinꦡe set for now. A surprisingly intricate engine, 3 NOS canisters ready to provide a burst of speed, and Lego's first ever 'drift' function.

As with a few ranges this month, not all Technic kit♛s are available for US builders in June; you'll need to wait until August for the Aston Martin and Volvo models.

This kit♚ is pure magic, so let's get the bad news out of the way first: it isn't to-scale. Rather than being a full-size version of the hat, this is only 9.5in (24cm) tall and 561 pieces st𝕴rong.

It's all on the up-and-up from there, though. Lego Talking Sorting Hat features a pressable top that you can push down like a lever, causing it to cycle through a random series of quotes which end with the kit bellowing the Hogwarts 🅘House you belong in.

Iꦆt comes on a sleek black and gold stand as well, so won't just be laying about. This features the icons of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, along with a minifigure🦂 of Harry himself wearing the Sorting Hat.

Build

As a smaller build with just over 500 pieces, the Lego T﷽alking Sorting Hat isn't going to take you long to finish. Indeed, I smashed through it in aꦛbout an hour – it would take two at most.

It'll be a pleasant experience. The project isn't particularly taxing, and despite a few tricky moments where you may accidentally drop a piece inside the half-built model (which leads to you rattling it upside down like a salt shaker), it's easygoing on the whole. There are only a couple of stickers too, which are prominent – and thus anxiety-inducing – but satisf෴ying when placed correctly.

Design

• Expressive, despite not being 1-to-1
• Doesn't take up much space on display
• Some stickers, but not many

Lego can ve🐽rge into the uncanny valley with its larger character models (such as Chewbacca), and that's why droids, helmets, or objects like the Talking Sorting Hat work so well when turned into bricks. This kit may have doorstop eyes and a big hole for a mouth, but it's surprisingly expressive nonetheless. That mouth moves when the lever is pushe✅d, for example.

Even though the k🧸it can't capture its inspiration's exact look due to the many folds and curves, it also does a great job selling you on this being the Sorting Hat despite any differences. Take one glance at that face and I suspect you'll know exactly what it's supposed to be. That's impressive.

The stand is classy tooꦑ with its mix of black, gold, and printed house banners. I'm particularly fond of the mini Harry wearing an even smaller Sorting Hat, because it perfectly captures that moment from the film and provides a quick hit of nostalgia. Speaking of which, a hidden Sword of Gryffindor is a nice tou🀅ch…

There's some clever planning her𝓀e as well. Aside from technical pieces that let some of its pie💙ces move, there's an easily accessible compartment that lets you get at the battery without any fuss.

Is it disappointing that the set♈ used stickers rather than printed-on pieces in some cases? Yes. And when they're as prominent as they are here, applying them can be tense. Of all the N-Series toys I've seen, these are amongst the most simple – yet that's not necessarily a bad thing. Th🐎ey're compact, single-handed blasters with a pull ring to prime the mechanism and a trigger to fire, loaded with up to two darts at once. An accessory rail also runs along the top of the barrel.

Don't assume you'll be able to dual-wield them like an '80s action hero, though. The ring pull system requires two hands, so arming both at once is impossible and definitely not as cool.

Stillꦚ, these toys look amazing. They're sleek and subtle by Nerf standards, but that's in their favor. They're a bit 'Blade Runner' in design thanks to the chunky barrel. The molded logo on the rear cylinder of the blaster is stylish too, as is the blue/red splash of paint to d𒁃ifferentiate the two from one another.

Feel like this looks familiar? That's because it is, from what I can tell, exactly the same as the Nerf 🉐N-Series Ward... only, you're getting two here.

Seeing as the Nerf N-Series Duo Pack uses N1 darts🎀, it's no surprise that this one is just as accurate and punchy as we've come to expect. If you're new to the range, this ammo is specially designed to fly further, faster, and more on-target than any darts before them. From my experience testing many of the N-Series toys, it works.

Will the Duo Pack keep up with something like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nerf N-Series Pinpoint, or even the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nerf N-Series Agility? After weeks of rumors and leaks, the Lego Balrog Book Nook has emerged from the long dark of Moria in all its glory. Lego Balrog Book Nook analysis

Lego has been doing a load more book nooks recently (including Sherlock Holmes), but this is the first one from Lord of the Rings. And honestly, you couldn't choose a better moment from the series to immorta🐓lize in book nook form than this. The narrow bridge of Khazad-dum, complete with the Balrog looming over Gandalf from the opposite end, is perfect for this fಞormat. It's already a scene with lots of depth but not much width, so that makes it a spot-on candidate for the job.

So far as construction goes, this kit is pretty straightforward compared to other sets like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Lego Rivendell; it's a lot more modest at just over 1,200 pieces, and isn't overly complex in terms of decoration. Along🀅side the bridge and the pillars of Moria flanking it, flame pieces are placed on either side to simulate the Balrog's fire.

Speaking of the Balrog,💙 he's a big boy; 🌊while we've seen this Gandalf minifigure before (it looks to be the same as previous ones, just without a hat), the monster itself is sizeable with a wide wingspan and a build that reminds me of old Bionicle figures.

Do I think it does the demon of shadow and flame justice? I mean, sort of. Although I ✱know book fans will come at me for saying so, I think the Balrog loses something when he's not wreathed in fire. With that in mind, I can't help thinking this version is a bit… well, naked. However, the head is brilliantly fearsome and I appreciate the fiery mane running down his neck.

My main criticism? More could have been done here at large, particularly for the price. I think the cost is steep considering what you're getting, and it looks a bit sparse despite those 1.2K pieces. Equally, this is one that really cou🐓ld have done with some lighting. A moody orange glow would truly set it off. That's nothing a quick bodge (or a third-party solution) can't fix, but still.

One of the most iconic parts of a galaxy far, far away are these weapons for a more civilized age, and there are plenty of Star Wars lightsabers to choose from if you want your own. Although they're some of the most expensive saber replicas, they're easily the most impressive thanks to a slew of cool effects (like blaster-deflection and 'wall-cutting'), convincing build materials, and screen-accurate weathering so that they look like the real deal. You can remove the blade and display the hilt by itself as well, meaning you can show it off in pride of place.

Yes, the Legacy range (which you can find on the Disney Store or at Galaxy's Edge via Disneyland Resort/Walt Disney World) is also excellent. But a lot of the time, they don't have♍ the fancy blade effects. They don't always come with a blade at all, actually - some are purely for display. As such, I'd argue that The Black Series Force FX Elite sabers are better value overall, and worth the investment unless you're a collector who wants a specific character's hilt.

Rather than being your run-of-the-mill water gun, this latest toy from Spyra is best described as a freakin' water grenade launcher. According to the press release that dropped into my inbox, the blaster features a "electronic trigger system offers a smooth and tactile pull." Its water bombs (which are loaded into the stock a bit like rockets) shouldn't be one-and-done novelties, either; they're apparently made from tough silicone that allows them to be reused. Spyra claims that these can be filled in one second as well, so when combined with a multi-color readout on top of the blaster that tells you ammo level, battery life, and "launcher rea𝓀diness," the SpyraGravity is jockeying for the postition of most gloriously OTT water gun. Oh, and don't forget its 45° arc range that allows it to hit targets 52ft/16m away. Ooft.

The press release also notes that the SpyraGravity "packs as much power as legally possible." I've been hands-on with Spyra blasters before for our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best water guns 🐻guide, and honestly, it's not marketing bluster. These things really do make other water pistols look silly; they fire with surprising force and accuracy. Indeed, I've not seen anyone try one and not giggle with glee after pulling the trigger.

They don't even need batteries to power them, because they've got a rechargeable USB-C pack. The SpyraGravity include🔜s this feature as well, and Spyra suggests that the battery will last for 2,000 shots or 10 hours 🌠in total.

Most Disney films might be aimed at families and children, but there are plenty of ✅adult Disney fans out there (myself included). Lego has tapped into this lucrative demographic with a rather formidable 18+ range of Lego Disney sets, which includes the Lego Walt Disney Tribute Camera. Anꦓd while younger brick builders will no doubt be enamoured by the set’s minifigures, play sets such as Encanto’s The Magical Madrigal House (43245) and Moana 2’s Kakamora Barge (43258) will likely be much more appealing to little Disney fanatics than a vintage, large-format film camera. This is a set to display on a shelf. Indeed, I’ve put it next to my collection of Disney Classics Blu-Rays and it looks great.

Build

• 811 pieces
• No stickers
• Enjoyable build

The first bag contains the multiplane camera and clapperboard base. Major kudos to Lego for printing all three of the multiplane slides, which could have so easily been stickers. In fact, there are no stickers at all, which is mighty unusual for a larger set. I then moved onto the top of the tripod, which predominantly comprises Technic pie🧸ces and is the hardest part of the build to put together. I had a little trouble placing the large cog on top of the arrangement and was thankful for the top-down diagram in the instruction manual, which enabled me to figure things 🐭out relatively quickly.

I tackled the tripod legs next, which largely use traditional Lego pieces. Although putting together each Lego block is repetitive, they come togetherಞ quickly, and before you know it, you’re moving onto the body of the large-format camera and Walt’s studio. Repetition is par for the course in almost all Lego sets, but𒊎 as far as 18+ sets go, the Lego Walt Disney Tribute Camera is less repetitive than most.

Adding the interior details to the large-format camera’s body kept the build feeling freshꦑ and the crank mechanism was a nice, midpoint distraction from building up all four sides of the rectangular structure. I then moved on to the lens arrangement at the front of the camera and the sliding matte box, before piecing together the swivelling viewfinder.

Attaching the length of film was simple enough, thanks to another great instructional diagram, and once finished, it was the point where the set really began to look the part, with only the film reels left to go. The '1' on tℱhe end of the reels that makes up the '100' to coincide with Disney’s cente🍌nary was slightly fiddly to attach and is the most delicate part of the model (prone to popping off in transit).

Overall, the most challenging part of the build is the top of the tripod and its Technic construction. And while this certainly isn’t a difficult set to put together, it is ജa little fiddly and delicate at times. I co🌺uld certainly see younger builders becoming frustrated with it, so the 18+ rating seems fair.

Lego Walt Disney Tribute Camera design

This is a lovely set that’s going to look fantastic on a shelf, alongside a Disney DVD or Blu-Ray collection. The large-format camera is the star of the show and is aestheticall꧙y spot on. I love how the designers have incorporated the ‘100’ logo into the film reels atop the camera, and how the working crank faithfully simulates the clacking sound of an opening and closing shutter mechanism. You can also move the matte box forward to reveal the lens arrangement – although it’ll slide back into place. The lens disc spins so you can switch lenses, and the viewfinder can be swivelled upwards or downwards so you can open the hatch to reveal Walt’s studio.

There you’ll find a desk on which to place the sketch of Mickey Mouse and a chair for Walt to sit on. Unfortunately, the door isn’t able to close fully with Walt sitting in the chair, without unseating the minifigure inside. This can𝓰 prove a little frustrating, but as you’ll likely want to display the set with Walt standing on the clapperboard, it’s not the end of the world. What I do think is a shame is that you cannot pan and/or tilt the camera. This is perpetuated by the presence of a panning and tilting arm, which invites you to move the camera, only to find that you can’t.

As a display piece, though, I cannot fault the camera. My favorite part is easily the roll of film, which features 20 film cells, each with an image from a famous Disney film, but in Lego form. It’s a real joy looking at each cell, with classics such as The Lion King, The Jungle Book, and Pinocchio, as well as cult gems such as The Rescuers🎉 and The Sword in the Stone. And while I mentioned that the ‘1’ is prone to popping off, the camera and tripod are surprisingly sturdy, overall. Despite its height, you’d have to really knock the model tജo force it over.

Moving on to the multiplane camera side build. This is a great little Easter egg for Disney buffs and an ingenious base in which to💧 house the minifigures. Speakingܫ of Easter eggs, the multiplane camera displays an image of a farmhouse beneath the moon. This is the same scene the real Walt Disney used to explain the workings of the multiplane camera in a 1957 documentary called Tricks of Our Trade.

However, I can’t help but feel the side build is a little bit of a missed opportunity. I’m aware that a fully working multiplane model would have to be much bigger and woulꦇdn’t garner nearly as much appe𝕴al as a vintage film camera, but if the planes could have moved up and down independently, I think it would have elevated this little model to the next level. However, that shouldn’t detract from what is ultimately an extremely neat side build.

This set comes with five minifigures, which is a great haul for an 18+ display set that could have easily been released with none at all. You get Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Dumbo, Bambi, and Walt Disney himself. Youngsters will no doubt delight in seeing the🐟ir favorite Disney characters, but my pick of the bunch is Walt. We’ve never seen Disney’s head honcho in minifigure form and considering he’s just a man in a suit, Lego has done a great job. You get two head sculpts that nail Walt’s trademark moustached look, the suit printing looks the part, and you even get a little pen and sketch of Mickey from Steamboat Willie for him to hold.

Mickey is very similar to the Steamboat Willie incarnations we’ve seen before, but without the hat. His torso and arms are completely black, but he features dual-molded legs with nice printing. And his head sculpt, ♓which we’ve seen before, still looks marvelous. Again, Minnie is much like her Steamboat Willie counterpart but she does feature different eyelash printing, which I consider to be an improvement.

Dum🌜bo and Bambi aren’t technically Minifigures in the traditional s🐲ense, with no points of articulation, but they’re roughly Minifigure size, look like their respective characters, and feature nice printing.

At✃ / , this set provides a price per piece ratio of 12.3c/11.1p, which puts it roughly around Lego’s average. And although it’s not the best-value set out there on the face of it, it is a licensed set, and I think the five𝔉 minifigures, the absence of any stickers, and that beautiful roll of film make it worth the price of admission.

You need look no further than the box art to know that the Lego Walt Disn🅘ey Tribute Camera is a magnificent-looking set. It's perfect as a more subtle display piece for fans of any era, and it won't dominate a space as much as the (excellent) castle kit.

It's a wonderfully geeky deep cut too, which makes for a thoughtful conversation starter. While most people will no doubt gravitate towards the large-format camera, I was most interested in the multiplane camera side build. Now, I’m a self-confessed came🐻ra nerd, but if you’re a hardcore Disney fan, I think you’ll be enamoured by this interesting little build as well. Disney used the multiplane camera to split background artwork into multiple planes. This meant that each plane could be moved 🎶back, forth, and side to side independently, allowing for a more realistic perspective when zooming in and out, and simulating the parallax effect when tracking.

Suffice to say, there’s plenty here to keep Disney adults, House of Mous🍸e super fans, and filmmaking nerds happy.

However, all this means the Tribute Camera is definitely meant for grown-ups - it won't suit children because it lacks that all-important playability. I spent plenty of time moving the model around and testing out its various playability features when I photographed it. It shouldn't come as a surprise that a build featuring over 1,400 pieces will take a decent amount of time to complete, but it's definitely something to consider. It took me around nine hou🎐rs to assemble Lego Fortnite Peely Bone, working methodically and carefully though the stages that involved lots of small parts. There are a total of 15 paper bags containing all of those pieces, which provides plenty of opportunities to take a break along the way.

The weighty tome of an instruction booklet includes more than 200 pages with almost 500 steps in total to run through, and although there are some fairly complicated building techniques used to keep the model standing, these were never difficul🙈t to follow. It was really interesting seeing it come together over time, as after constructing the base and legs the body began as a nondescript, co💟lorful chunk of blocks, then was gradually built up in layers until it took on a recognizable banana form.

While the majority of the build was quite straightforward, things do get a bit tricky when you have to initially connect the heavy main body to the narrow legs to make the model freestandin♔g. This results in the structure being a bit wobbly at first, which feels somewhat dicey when you have to then attach additional pieces to it, though you do eventꦑually shore everything up to become considerably more stable. There were also a couple of fiddly steps installing lots of small parts, such as the ribs of the skeleton and the guts, but thankfully they were few and far between.

If you don't enjoy the stress of applying stickers to your Lego sets, then I have great news! From the mouth and bruised patches on the banana skin to the detailing on the side of the Paint Launcher and the nameplate on the display stand, all of those are printed pieces that look great. There is just a single solitary decal included – a banana sticker to go on Peely's ♊back – which is actually a funny little touch.

It's clear that a lot of thought has been put into the design of the Lego Fortnite Peely Bone model, to make it as interesting as possible. Having the two legs starting at different heights and angles but still connecting solidly to the body is an i🥂ncredibly impressive feat of engineering, and you'll discover some really interesting building techniques as you assemble the set that make this possible.

There are a number of Easter eggs tucked away during the build that only you will know about, such as a hidden heart and brain for Peely in contrast to his other, more visible internal workings. There are also some fun uses of unexpected pieces if you look closely, such as white boomerangs and sausages employed as bones, and a yellow t🍒elephone forming a heel.

As well as the fun sticker I mentioned earlier, Peely also has the Banana Bag Back Bling strapped on behind him, complete with several addi♕tional bunches of bananas hanging off it. This is not only a cool accessory, b🌳ut it also cleverly acts as a counterweight to the model, increasing its stability and allowing for more poseable positions of the arms.

The Lego Fortnite Peely Bone is a highly detailed model, but it won🎃't appeal to everybody, so the answer to whether you shou𝕴ld buy it or not comes down to personal taste. If you're not going to have fun looking at a half-banana, half-skeleton figure with its guts out, then clearly this isn't for you, but if you enjoy the quirkiness and have a soft spot for ol' Peely himself then this would be a great addition to your collection.

Lego The Simpsons: Krusty Burger

A return from Lego Simpsons has been rumored for a while, but I was starting to doubt it would happen. Well, now I've got to eat my words like Homer eats a Triple Double Burger made of meat-like by-products. The fast-food chain has been recreated in just over 1,600 pieces here, and unlike so many of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Lego sets, it's not a facade; it's a complete building that, like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Lego Mos Eisley Cantina, you can open up to reveal the rooms inside.

This will be pretty familiar to fans of the show, and like previous kits, it's crammed with references. The drive-thru bears the menu seen in the series, and Krusty is in his farmer outfit from when he advertised the Mother Nature Burger after discovering that Krusty Burgers are the unhealthiest food in the world. Homer has pulled up in his Krusty-themed car from Homer the Clown, and Buzz Cola is available. Oh, and Sideshow Bob is on hand with a custard pie ready to splat him in the face. It's good stuff. As noted by our own Hardware Editor and Simpsons fan Rosalie Newcombe, "The launch of the first line of Lego Simpsons minifigs is what got me into the brick-building hobby as an adult, so seeing the upcoming Krusty Burger set has put the spring back into my Springfield-loving self. The addition of the squeaky-voiced teen (also formerly known as Jeremy Freedman) mini-fig in all his greasy glory, and the ability to recreate Homer and Bart’s grease-stealing escapades from the classic season 10 episode, has solidified its future place in my Simpsons merch collection.

I j💖ust can’t help but feel like it’s missing some of the better easter eggs we’ve already seen on the recent Jakks Pacific Krusty Burger Playset. Which went as far as to call back to a see-through oily stain on the wall, left by Homer’s fish sandwich from 'King-Size Homer.' But hopefully, on a closer inspection, there will be plenty of nostalgic callbacks to discover, in Lego form."

Interestingly, the Lego Store notes that this is part of 'The Simpsons' range - a theme I haven't seen before on the site. Does this mean more sets are on the way? We can only hope. It's been a long, long time since the Simpsons House or Kwik-e-Mart were available, so I'd love to see them recreated at some point down the line... or, ideally, added to with o♋ther locations like the power plant or Springfield Elementary.

"Making the model stable enough to stand up on its own was a challenge, especially when I originally designed the model digitally", says Brett.🍌 "I eventually managed it when I built Luxo using real bricks. Creating a smooth sphere for the Luxo ball was also very hard."

The final design is fully articulated and includes a buildable Pixar ball, which opens up to reveal Easter eggs that will give Pixar lovers a real kick. These includ💯e references related to Up, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monsters Inc., Toy Story, and Finding Ne🦂mo.

Based on Anakin's appearance in the dream(ish) sequences of Ahsoka, the Anakin Skywalker Color Changing Legacy Lightsaber does exactly what it says on the tin – it flashes between the blade's usual blue and Darth Vader's red at the push of a button, reflecting his switch from Dark to Light during the show. This is really cool ⛎to witness in-person, and drew a crowd when I visited Disney's London HQ to check out upcoming May 4 merch. Although other, third-party Star Wars lightsabers can pull off the same trick, it's not as easy as it is here; you have to cycle through various modes to get what you want.

The saber will be a𓆏vailable on the soon, and is already up for grabs for and in honor of Star Wars Day.

While I normally prefer Black Series sabers thanks to their extra features on top of hilt quality (the 澳洲幸꧑运5开奖号码历史♋查询:Darth Vader Force FX Elite Lightsaber is still the best replica around, in my opinion), this Legacy equivalent does something none of them have, to my knowledge. However, this 212th edition is notably cheaper than both the Ahsoka version and the one based on Anakin's 501st, at least for UK fans. It's £90 if you live in Great Bri🐭tain, compared to the Ahsoka helm's £139.99 and the 501st's £104.99 🌱price tags.

Of course, it wasn't the only cool bit of gear being released for May 4. It seems as though someone at Disney heard me, because you can now get your hands on real-life Star Wars droids. Indeed, the G1T4-M1N1 Droid is available - and it can follow you around town while carrying up to 20lbs of luggage. It's another quiet month for the Botanicals range, with just one new 🗹kit arriving - the Petite Sunny Bouquet. It certainly has an appropriate name, and has a real feeling of spring thanks to the bluebells and daisies.

Like many other Botanicals kits, you'll need to grab a pot for this yourself; it𝓰 doesn't come with one. However, this does mean you can dibble its flowers amongst others in your collection.

Star Wars is flavor of the month when it comes to May's new Lego sets, and that's carried ♒across to the BricꦬkHeadz range. Alongside Luke Skywalker in X-Wing fighter pilot gear, a Revenge of the Sith collection with most of the major players has also dropped.

New Lego sets: Marvel

Lego is referencing one of the most memorable moments of cinema in the past decade with May's new kit, but hooooo boy, but judging by r൩ather... colorful fan response, it fe🧸els as if Avengers: Endgame Final Battle is memorable for another reason entirely.

Suffice to say, a lot of feedback after its announcment has been spicy. Inspired by that iconic 'portals' scene in Endgame, it shows multiple characters emerging from mystical gates to help Captain America, Iron Man, and co with their final fight against Thanos. Unfortunately, it hasn't enjoyed the reception I suspect Lego wanted - the likes of Reddit have criticized its $100 / £90 pricღe, how there isn't a lot to build beyond those minifigs (some of which we've seen before), the💖 fact that Ant-Man comes in a mech rather than the much more convincing 'giant' version from their new Civil War kit, Thor being MIA, and more.

I'm personally not as critical of it, because it brings a lot of cool minifigures together that might otherwise be hard to get in one go. It could also be an impressive display piece if you blend it with other Endgame kits. All the same, that price is eye-watering considering what's included here. I'm no✅t overly keen on Cap's 'broken' shield that is in fact a half-painted disc either - the paintwork is good, but having a massive chunk of gray plastic poking out ruins the effect somewhat.

The Minif🍨igures range is really branching out with this month's new Lego sets, because they aren't minifigures at all - they're F1 cars. There are 12 to collect in total, and they come bedecked in livery for Aston Martin, Ferarri, McLaren, and more.

May is definitely Star Wars' time to shine when it comes to new Lego sets, and a galaxy far, far away has taken the lion's share of attention here. Seven new kits are hitting shelves, one of which is a massive new Ultimate Collector Series model of Jango Fett's ship. This is its first Lego makeover in years, and it's the best-looking version of the craft to date. I suspect it's only a matter of time until the set gets repainted and re-launched as Boba Fett'ꦐs ride...

This may be the most exciting reveal, but it's far from the only one. I'm a big fan of the helmets range so am happy to see it return this month with two new additions (Kylo Ren's mask is a particular favorite of mine, and is done justice here), while the logo kit makes for a cool statement piece. Unlike the previous SHIELD Helicarrier, t♎his is a much smaller model than that 31-inch behemoth (perfect for displaying on a shelf, in other words). It also comes with a stand and doesn't boast any interactive elements or minifigures. That means it's aimed squarely at grown-ups as a display piece. Sorry, young builders: this isn't a playset.

Lego Marvel The Avengers Helicarrier build

• Simple and speedy build

The Lego Marvel The Avengers Helicarrier (76295) is only 509 pieces, spread across four bagged sections, meaning it comes together very quickly for an 18+ set. I spent less than two hours building it at a leisurely pace, so you could easi🥀ly put this together in an evening, preferably while you watch The Avengers in the background! But before I get into the build, it’s worth noting that you’ll be hard pressed to find another set oཧf this size with more stickers (nearly 30!). So, if you’re not keen on Lego sets with stickers, do factor that in.

Not only will you be applying a lot of stickers, but they’re highly visible, meaning you’ll want to get them right. And since most of them reside on the runways, lining them up neatly is very difficult indeed. The sticker placement really is the hardest part of the bui💛ld, though, with no complex Technic constructions, so I can see younger Lego Marvel fans enjoying some supervised building, too.

When it comes to the bu൲ild itself, you begin by tackling the hull before laying down the tiles that make up the first landing strip. Both strips are almost entirely covered by stickers. The pair of engines are next, which come together nicely with good use of some orange studs and clip pieces. You then build up the underside of the hull before attaching the turbines. This can prove slightly fiddly since the rods that hold the turbines in place are prone to popping off at this stage in the build.

After constructing the turbine surrounds, you make the base for the second-tier runway. A little tile detailing and the construction of the runway itself – again with the stickers – ensues, before moving onto the command superstructure. The stand is built last and features a nice, printed plaque (th🍃e only printed piece in the set) with Lego and Marvel logos and “Helicarrier.” It attaches to the craft via a 2x8 set of studs and while care must be taken when moving the model not to knock the Helicarrier off its stand, this is adequate for display 🅷purposes.

I think the Lego Marvel The Avengers Helicarrier (76295) looks best when viewed from a top-down angle. The designers have really nailed its unusual form and the slanted runway in particular, although the fixed turbines do feel like a missed opportunity; it would have been nice if they spun. To my eye, the hull is not quite as bulbous as the real thing, particularly at the front end. The result is a sleeker-looking Helicarrier. But I’m being picky here. Overall, it’s a great-look🍬ing representation of a rather complex-shaped craft at a tricky scale.

There are some nice little details, too. The command superstructure looks good, and I love the pair of engines at the rear, with great use of clips and bar handles to recreate some tricky angles. Even the underside looks decent with number 64 stickers present and a cutaway with blue transparent tiles to repres𒈔ent the rear opening in the hull.

Lego has also gone to the trouble of representing a Quinjet vi✅a a 1x2 sloped curve and a 1x2 half circle, and F-35 Lightning II fighters via 1x1 quarter tiles, which is nice. But even these tiny pieces are arguably a little bit too big, so I can’t help but wonder how the designers would 🌌have utilized a larger piece count like the midi-scale Millennium Falcon (75375) and its 921 pieces.

This brings me to the price. Price-per-piece ratios aren’t a wholly accurate reflection of a set’s value, due to the irregular size of Lego bricks. But with this set’s / price tag averaging around 15.7¢ / 13.8p per piece, it’s steep. Especially when you consider there’s only one printed brick and no new minifiguresꦉ to design and tool.

Should you ౠbuy the Lego Marvel The Avengers He🌠licarrier?

The Lego Marvel The Avengers Helicarrier (76295) looks great and will make a lovely display piece for MCU and Marvel Comics fans, especially next to its behemoth counterpart, The SHIELD Helicarrier (76042), one of the largest Lego ⛦Marvel sets ever created. But it’s the wealth of stickers and the hefty price-per-piece ratio that lets this little set down. It can feel like much of the short build is spent painstakingly applying stickers, and although Lego’s designers should be praised for creating such a faithful recreation of the Helicarrier with only 509 pieces, I’d love to know what they could have done with a piece count more akin to the superb midi-scale Millennium Falcon (75375).

The Mecha Team Leader Lego set is standing proud as what's likely to be the pièce de résistance for many Lego Fortnite fans. I opened the press release without knowing what on earth a Klombo was, and let me tell you, ꧒I'm a changed man. If I knew Fortnite had giant weirdo monsters wandering around Battle Royale, I'd have got back in the fight ages ago.

This kit is a faithful recreation of the creature that seems to scale with minifigures. I'm assuming this because it comes with two minifigs of its own - Island Adventure Peely and King Oro in golden form - that are the perfect size for being sw🌌allowed whole by your new bestie. Klombo itself seems happy at the prospect thanks to its big, toothy grin and googly eyes.

It isn't just a hunk of plastic, either. The 1,084-piece model has a rotating tail to go with moving legs and mouth. This, a🍬long with the monster's fan-favorite status, makes me think Lego Klombo may become one of the more popular sets in the range amongst collectors. It's pe🌌rfect for displaying on a shelf.

As a bonus, this kit features a Klomberry bush with detachable Klomberries as🥀 well.

Lego Durrr Burger Restaurant

As one of the most memorable locations in the video game, it's not surprising that a full Durrr Burger Restaurant is on the way. Much like the Animal Crossing kits we've been getting over the past year or so, it's not a 'full' building; ♕this is🐼 a facade without a back, all the better to see what's going on inside.

This certainly seems like a bang-up establishment for your assorted Fortnite minifigures to hang out in, and it's a perfect addition to a collector's display or for kids who'd like somethi🐼ng for their figs to battle over. Alongside a till and dispensers for stud treats, it features a snazzy drive-thru menu with a list of items to order. Then there's the iconic sign with its huge Durrr Burger on the top that can be seen from miles away. Or the other side of the room, at least.

Speaking of minifigs, f🍨our are included here: Beach Bomber, Beef Boss, Grimey, and a skeleton. You can arm them with a teeny burger rather than a weapon if you so choose. Seeing as a couple aren't available elsewhere (Beef Boss, Grimey, and Beach Bomber), it's a tempting proposition.

Rumours previously pegged this one as a BrickHeadz set, but today we see Fortnite Peely & S𒐪parkplug’s Camp revealed in all its Lego glory. It's pretty bananas if I do say so myself.🎶 (Sorry.)

With 250 pieces, this set will give you the bits to build up the campfi♕re, ruins, and workbench, but it doesn't come at the same cost as some of the previous $100+ Lego Fortnite designs. It's the most affordable of the lot with an RRP of $19.99, or £17.99 for UK folk.

Still, the Lego Fortnite Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp manages to squeeze in a Peely minifigure, alongside Sparkplug, a little Supply Llama that seems to be a color-swap of the previously-released exclusive minifig, and a skeleton. There's even a poseable wolf model which might not look quite as cool as , but it's still pretty♏ rad.

Aside from all that, b🔜uying the set will let you unlock the rar🍌e and iconic Sparkplug Outfit in both Fortnite and Lego Fortnite. All you need to do is scan a QR code – which is far easier than getting a high rank in the FNCS Cup tournament.

In it you can play as Steve or Alex, and will collect resources, and explore the overworld, revealing potential buildings and gaining ✃experience points as you build ever more complex buildings. You'll also be battling mobs with crafted weapons, so there's more to it than just building.

As for the Lego sets I've added above, there are so many to choose from. Basicaꦜlly we'd recommend going first for the ✅one that draws you in the most, and of course whichever one will fit on whatever space you still have left on your Lego shelf (or shelves).

We're not had a chance to review the Lego Great Deku Tree set yet (it's currently on our Tabletop & Merch Editor's desk, ready to be builꦕt♓), but just looking at it we can see it's a fantastic offering.

For one thing, you're getting three separate Link minifigures (kid and adult Link from Ocarina of Time, and blue-topped Breath of the Wild Link), as opposed to just Link minifigs with interchangeable parts. That in itself if a fantastic offering, since Lego could have just given you different bodies to s❀nap𝔍 onto the same set of legs. But no, all four of these Link minifigs can live together in their happy treehouse home.

Aside from the interchangeable foliage and pieces to transform the Deku Tree from the N64 version to the Switch version, there are Easter eggs scattered throughout the scene, too. Besides being the same size as (or very close to) the on-screen prop, this Mouse Droid is a dead-ringer for the original with a ton of greebles, weathering, and light-up red LEDs along the top. Better yet, it makes the actual noises. You know the ones – those meep meep beeps as it toot🅘le﷽s about, minding its own business until a Wookie yells at it.

It's not ඣtoo hard to control, either. While it may feel basic compared to more advanced remote control cars seeing as it only features forward/back and left/right buttons, it handles well and I was able to drive it in loops around pillars, under tables, and past unsuspecting people's legs without any trouble (sorry everyone, I may have gotten carried away). It's quite nippy as well,ꦦ trundling along at a decent speed.

OK, so it's ꦇa blast to just drive around – and I can see these popping up all over the place at conventions or Star Wars C꧑elebrations.
