<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> //344567.top 2025-06-06T22:17:30Z en <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Watching the first half hour of the big Summer Game Fest 2025 keynote today was an exercise in patience as I waded through an ocean of dark fantasy Sou♎lslike reveals hoping for something different to bob above the surface like some divine emergency raft, and Out of Words was exactly that lifeline for me.

Out of Words is a co-op platformer with big It Takes Two energy, but with a genuinely gorgeous stop-motion animation style that, according to presenter Lucy James of GameSpot fame, is entirely crafted by hand. Think Harold Halib🃏ut but even prettier. (Sorry, Harold.)

I mean, just look at this thing:

According to Out of Words' Epic 𓃲Games listing, where you can wishlist the game, the story takes place in "the colorful realm of 𓃲Vokabulantis" and is about the first time dual protagonists Kurt and Karla held hands.

"Out of Words is a journey for two, and this adventure will require cooperation, communication and perfect timing betꦉween you and your co-player," reads the description.

Sounds a lot like It Takes T🌺wo, huh? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Split Fiction, but I found It Takes Two's story to be a lot more engrossing and emotionally impactful. There's no telling if Out of Words will resonate in the same way, but it's enc🎃ouraging that it seems to deal with a struggling romance like It Takes Two, a topic that hits that much harder when you're playing with your partner.

Some of the physics-based puzzles in the trailerꦉ look pretty inventive, and it seems like there's a lot that tinker around with the game's gravity system in neat-looking ways. Epic confirmed that you'll be able to play online a🦂nd in couch co-op.

Out of Words is in co-development at games studio Kong Orange and stop-motion animation studio Wired Fly, with a vague "coming soon" relea𝔍se window on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Epic.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games to play right now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Fear not 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO fans, the devs are aware you're not feeling the Museum l🃏evel just yet, and they want🔜 to reiterate that it's still very much a work in progress. They're also figuring out how to ensure it stays challenging as you climb through the levels.

In a new dev log, which is just as hilarious as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the 'making of' documentary, Semiwork marketer Pontus Sundström says: "We've also heard your feedback on the museum, the Museum of Human Art. Some of you tꦏhink it looks a bit bland, and I sort of agree with y⛦ou. But the thing is, it's not finished."

He stresses that the open beta – which you can opt into on Steam if you want to test out new, experimental features before they're fully developed – is full of works in progress.🌄 "It's not a finished level," he says. "We're currently adding cool graffiti and we're adding some nice paintings, and it's gonna be so wonderful when it's done."

Work is also being done on upping the game's difficulty. Now, every five levels, the phase of the moon will change. Sundström says "things will get spicier and spicier as you get spicier and sp🧸icier with upgrades and other things that make you stronger."

He continue♛s: "Below level five, the enemies will be quite easy to stun with small objects. Then at level five there will be a moon phase causing the enemies to become stronger." He then switches to 🎶Swedish as apparently saying "fifth" is tricky, and explains that on level 10, 15, and so on, enemies will get stronger still due to another moon phase.

The aim is toꦍ keep the game balanced, so that those of you who wan🐲t to climb the levels can enjoy a challenge, while those of you who are happy to stick to level three don't get obliterated by tough foes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Before I even sit down to play Bumpkin & Sprout at Digital Dragons, the poster has me hooked. As the eponymous heroes of Polish animation studio Rabid Rat's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming indie game, a 3D ꧃co-op platformer that can also be pla🎶yed solo, the mushroom duo's eco-mission is as simple as it is important: to clean up their forest and defend Nature herself from the Pollution Spirit's trash-spitting evils.

Before you dismiss Bumpkin & Sprout as a quasi-educational game for kids, think again. Rabid Rat presents a vibrant 3D world to explore either by yourself or with a friend, featuring platforming puzzles, hack-n'-slash action, and a combat-free map mode.ไ Bolstered by a stunning handmade visual aesthetic, which you can check out for yourself on its , it was all too easy to lose myself in Bumpkin & Sprout's charming little demo – and for 30 minutes, I ✤did.

So mush-room, so little time

Bumpkin and Sprout demo screenshot

Bumpkin & Sprout is a new co-op game in a similar vein to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Little Nightmares 3, and I'm relieved to discover that it's just as fun to play by yourself. Loading into a fresh save at Digital Dragons, no cꦕo-op buddy by my side, my first choice is to select a character.

I'm not sure which mushroom-capped eco-warrior is which, but I choose the younger looking fungus of the pair. Given the bearded "chin" sported by the other, pointy-headed mushroom, I assume I've selected the rambunctious little Sprout.

The symbolism of having one older and one younger protagonist isn't lost on me. Even without a wise caregiver at my side, it's a beautifully effective way for Bumpkin & Sprout to 🎃angle itself as a platformer for all ages – and it's probably a bit more appropriate for younger children than the unnerving likes of Little Nightmares 3.

But the warm fuzzies don't last long. As Sprout navigates his fantastical 3D environs, the cozy forest vibes soon give way to more serious conse🃏rvationist themes. He encounters mounds of rubbish at every twist and turn, as well as patrolling impish minions sent by the toxic Spirit to disrup🦂t Nature. For destroying the piles of trash I'm rewarded with power-ups, which float up in little bubbles from the detritus.

These vary from temporary traversal tools – like speed-boosting roller skates and an umbrella parachute, both used by holding the left trigger – to what I think must be health boosts (since my HP bar refilled inexplicably at one point) and other💎 useful items that likely come in handy later on.

The same melee attack is useful against the Spirit's lackeys, each emanating toxic purple plumes as they march across the forest like Goombas in a Mario game. Instead of jumping on their heads, though, Sprout can march up and simply whack them out of the way. I eventually stumble upon a new way to at🍒tack my foes, h🐽owever: a devastating ground pound, executed by double jumping and hitting the right trigger.

Growing together

These subtle quirks ar💙e a true highlight for me, identifiaꦛbly connecting Bumpkin & Sprout to its core themes...

Super satisfying melee combat aside, Bumpkin & Sprou🎃t's quirky l✃evel design is the real stand-out.

While exploring the forest and putting its smooth platforming opportunities to the test, I e♓ncounter plenty of inventive nods to the broader theme of ecology, each more adorable and clever than the last.

Interacting with a discarded tin opener unravels a hidden bridge, allowing Sprout to safely cross a sludgy river bursting with toxic waste. Elsewhere, a grimy toilet spews yet more filth. A discarded lighter becomes a makeshift hot air balloon, opening up the game's verticality as Sprout travels not only across the forest but up and down it, too.

These subtle quirks are a true highlight for me, identifiably connecting Bumpkin & Sprout to its core themes without being heavy handed about any of them. It's just one aspect of the consistently strong visual language that governs the game, from colors and their connotations to the symbဣolic nature of various setpieces, reinforcing Rabid Rat's expertise as 3D artists.

After 30 minutes of solo exploration, I still wish I'd had a chance to play Bumpkin & Sprout in co-op mode. I can only imagine how Rabid Rat has re-worked these nifty mechanics to accommodate two players, perhaps in the puzzle-solving vein of Hazelight favorites It Takes Two or Split Fiction. I can also see Bumpkin & Sprout's two-player functionality suiting the looser structure of something like Rayman Origins, one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best PS3 games for local𝓀 co-op shenanigans, right down to the colorful cast of character♉s in all their oddly-proportioned glory.

Either way, I'll be keeping an eye on Bumpkin & Sprout as it moves toward its unnamed release date – ൲though next time I go hands-on with it, I'll definitely BYOB (bring my own Bumpkin).

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> As part of our big roundup where game devs explain what people get wrong about games, lead devs from the Helldivers 2 and Palworld teams unknowingly, and somewhat unsurprisingly, came to a bit of a silent agreement: fans of big, living ga🐽mes often underestimate how hard it is to make new content.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Helldivers 2 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Palworld were both enormous hits that attracted tens of millions of players, and plenty of those players have stuck around for the long haul. Among them, there's an understandable, unquenchable thirst for new content, but unfortunately, this stuff takes a long time 🅰to make, no matter what you do.

"I think people have very ༺unrealistic expectations of timelines," says Palworld community and publishing manager John Buckley. "I play an unhealthy amount of games myself. I understand that need for more content quickl𝓀y. But I think people really misunderstand how long it takes to make things."

Pal wields a massive turret in a screenshot from Palworld

Buckley worries that people look at games l꧃ike Fortnite and Call of Duty, which are built by armies of developers working with enormous resources and pipelines often looking over a year ahead, and think🐼 that other games should pump out content as quickly.

"So they come into something like Palworld, they play it for a week, they love it, and then they go, you know, what's going on with this?" Buckley continues. "Tꦬhere's so many people that say we've dropped off, we're dead, or we've run away with the money, we're not working on it. We are, every minute of the day, working on this game, but it takes weeks and months to make stuff. A new island in Palworld, that's half a year's work. That takes six months. And when it comes out, people are super excited, but you just get so many nasty comments before that about these things.

"And you try to explain it, and there'll always be a few gam💦ers who get it, and they really appreciate that dialog, but quite a lot of them don't. They just don't get the timeline. So I think development timelines are very misunderstood, and it's something that would be cool if more people understood, but I think it's hard to accurately explain."

Helldivers 2 creative lead and former Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt, meanwhile, touched on the broader complications of game development and why developers can't always respond to feedback or suggestions instantly, let alone release big updates 澳洲幸运ꩲ5开奖号码历史查询:like the game's recent Heart of Democracy.

"If you think about when movies are made, you get an actor and they're there and you tell them what to say," Pilestedt said. "But games are so meticulously crafted. You have to build the actor from the ground uꩵp for them to even be able to perform those lines. People say, can't they add this or do tha🍷t. Most of the time, all of the decisions that you make, especially the larger the game gets, have so many consequences that cascade, making something that seems easy really hard, or something that seems really hard to be super simple. It's unintuitive unless you've worked in games to see how they're created."

Helldivers 2 players survived the Super Earth invasion and put a 10% dent in the Illuminate, but the real heroes are the new NPCs: "My glorious king SEAF soldier charging the Overseer to save my life."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign is a PvE gauntlet designed for teams of three, and it really encourages matchmaking, though there is soft balancing to accommodate solo play despite the unavoidable risks of going it alone without buddies who can revive your downed corporeal form by lovingly hitting it with swords. The idea of playing with exactly one other friend, however, kind of got lost in the mix. You either drop in alone or the game ✃gives you a team of three. But director Junya Ishizaki says FromSoftware hasn't abandoned squads of two.

Speaking with , Ishizaki explains the lack of dedicated duo play in Nightreign. "The simple answer is tha🐻t this is simply something that was overlooked during development as just a two-player option, so we'🌳re very sorry about that," he says.

"As we said before, w♚e set out to make this a multiplayer co-op game for three players, balanced for three players, so that was the main focus and it's at the core of Nightreign," he continues. "Of course, I myself as a player understand that and often want times where I'm just playing myself, so this is something that we considered from the start. And so we did put a lot of effort into creating this experience that was playable for solo players in as much as the rules and new systems allowed."

While "we kind of overlooked and neglected the duos aspect," Ishizaki says "this is something that we are looking at and considering for post-launch support as꧃ wel🍰l."

For the time being, the only post-launch updates confirmed꧅ for Nightreign are the contents of its DLC, which includes new characters, bosses, and map biomes. From Ishizaki's comments, it soundsꦦ like player feedback could inspire more granular updates aimed at specific gameplay experiences, including a more bespoke two-player run.

So, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:can you play Elden ওRing Nightreign solo? Yes, with some asterisks. One way that Nightreign numbs the sting of solo play is "a self-revive feature" that you can find 🌱out in the map,♋ Ishizaki told IGN. It's a limited life raft, but anything is better than going down, dying alone, and losing a hard-earned level on respawn.

Ishizaki previously said that even when playing in a team – especially, I'd imagine, if you're matchmaking with random players – you may end up taking on some enemies solo since you and your teammates "don't have to babysit one anotherꦑ" and can explore at your♑ own pace. And as a solo player, rather than mathematically scaling enemies down, it seems enemy AI is adjusted so you don't get dogpiled quite so heavily. I'd expected bosses, which will corral players together, to feel pretty tanky alone, though, and it certainly feels like Nightreign is best experie🤡nced as a group.

In my 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nigh📖treign ha♊nds-on preview, my team found more success staying together and doing some dogpiling ourselves, but that's much easier to plan with a premade🍌 team.

FromSoftware warns "the same strategy won't always work" in Elden Ring Nightreign, which is bad news for me because I used the same strategy in all the Souls games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> REPO developer Semiwork has announced what it's calling🧸 "the MOST POWERFUL WEAPON" available in the co-op horror extraction game, and it seems destined to turn friendships into ex🦹ploded patches of rubble.

"This thing will turn your cart" – essentially, a package carrier you use to extract items and comple🧔te REPO's objectives – "into a battle tank," says Semiwork dev Pontus Su𝓡ndström in . "Introducing: the Cart Cannon."

In a demonstrative clip, a little robot player character drops th🐭e "cart-powered" rocket launcher into the middle of a 🌠cart, where it slides dangerously around each time the carrier is moved. Players can activate the weapon simply by grabbing it and hopping into the cart, which a teammate will still be able to navigate freely.

"Now we're officially a tank," the little robot says, pausing just a second before using the cannon to blow up several items into puffy black clouds – but that seems to just be the Cart Cannon's standard version. Another variant releases a long-rage, wiggly laser beam that quick🐠ly incinerates multiple targets, and likely your teammates, too, if you aren't careful.

The players in the demonstration find this out for themselves, as one wrong zap from the C🔯annon operator makes Sundström, who's been driving the cart, burst into tiny ch☂unks of flesh.

"We hope that this weapon, together with [澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Semiwork's plan to re🃏balance health in REPO] will be at great disposal for your semi-bot team," Sundström says. Just don't be surprised if they also require team-builꦏding exercises after the REPO job is done.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> REPO developer Semiwork knows how much you're missing the health glitch, but they don't have any plans to bring it back. But players' fervent demand for an easier way to heal has prompted the devs to rebala🅷nce the entire health system, and they say they're always looking at popular exploits and mods to determine what the community wants most.

"We know that the so-called health glitch is dearly missed," Semiwork's Pontus Sundström says in a , "and while this is indeed a glitch and was not intended, and won't be reimplemented, we've taken another look at health balancing in gen🥀eral, as well as crystal balancing."

There will be a team discount for health kits, so more players will equal cheaper kits. The truck's health recovery beam will also be "more generous," where below level 5 you'll recover 50 HP, after level 5 you'll get 35 H🥃P, and after level 10 you'll get 25 HP.

"Basically we w🍨ant the health kits and the crystals to be more attractive to buy, so they will have a similar cap on the pricing," Sundström explains.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The removal of the health glitch, which pretty easily let you recover health for free, proved pretty controversial among players. While the devs obviously didn't want it to be quite so easy to cheat between rounds, but the fact that this🦹 exploit was so popular did suggest there was a✤ genuine need to adjust the health system.

"We want to make sure that you guys know that we always take a look at glitches that become popular, or even mods," Sundström says. "We take that as a sign that w♏e need to tweak or change the gameplay design or add to it."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Mycopunk comes from the Greek – 'myco' meaning 'mushroom' and 'punk' meaning 'punk'. With that rigorous training out of the way, it's time to appease your cockroach commander Roachy and immediately drop from space to the Gravity Farms of New Atlas. Just for a cleanup detail. Don't mind the things with all the li♔🌼mbs. That's why you've got large weapons strapped to you.

Developed by Pigeons at Play and published by Devolver Digital, Mycopunk is comfortable with the irreverent tone of the publisher's portfolio. While there's a striking beauty to the lo🐻-fi visuals of New Atlas when you land, co🤡vered with textures the team describe to me as "dirty Moebius" (the celebrated French comic artist and writer), it's just as at home letting you combine rude hand gestures with various dance emotes.

Very much a co-op game at heart, going hands-on with Mycopunk also means doing rude gestures to other players. Playing Mycopunk, I'm only currently able to access a Cleanup Detail mission and a Planetary Defense mission. The former begins with challenging us to clear up big wads of gunk on a pipe; the latter begins with challenging us to clear up big wads of gunk on power relays (both using our guns)🍃. There's a lot of gunk in Mycopunk.

Naturally each mission evolves a bit from there. In the first one, there are periodically larger wads of gunk that can defend themselves from our aggressive gun-first cleaning. The second gets a bit more involved, having a🌠 giant railgun drop from the sky we need to protect then power on so it can blast a rival corporation's ship out of the air. As you'd expectജ, in both you need to call in an escape pod to extract at the very end. My so-called "colleagues" were happy to leave me behind. This is why you can call your co-op partners "tossers" in-game, I suppose.

Considering enemies are essentially just shapes – mostly orbs – I actually quite like their designs in theory. With many limbs spiralling out of their (delicious?) orb centers, they're all dangerous whether🐽 they're simply slapping you around with tentacles or have great big lasers attached. In addition to shooting their spherical weak spots, you can shred through their limbs to knock their attacks out of commission. Except, removed limbs can be picked up by other enemies, meaning you need to be careful to disarm and get killshots quickly. This carries over to how you revive al💮lies too – you'll be split in two on death, waiting for an ally to physically bring your halves back together.

A player reloads in the a mushroom biome in Mycopunk as a wave of large enemies approaches

What I'm less keen on during my limite꧟d time with Mycopunk is ꦦhow relentless enemies are, constantly spawning and firing a barrage of attacks at you once you're a little way through a mission. Obviously, trying to stay on top of enemy waves is part of the point in a co-op shooter like this, but there's often little time to breathe.

It means that of the four class types – Glider, Scrapper, Bruiser, and Wr🍃angler – the ones with the most mobility seem to have the biggest advantage just to create space. In the couple of games I play, Glider's ability to super-dash long distances seems to outclass Bruiser's shields in utility. Enemies can get quite big and complex, and there's a satisfa𓆉ction to delimbing the biggest boys out there that's undercut a little by the sheer amount of smaller fry.

Out on a limb

A floating octohedron in Mycopunk floats towards a squad of players with shotguns on its tentacles

There's a selection of quirky weapons too, though limited to just four in my hands-on (plus grenades). There's a rifle that charges up a powerful laser as you shoot. One that hurls mini-rockets into the air that then descend. Cleverlyꦯ, ammo is handled by feeding energy between your two main guns, meaning you need to balance using both. However, like with above, the simple damage-over-time weapons seemed to be the most effective at cleaving through enemies, with the stranger ones that looked more fun not doing as great a job cleaning up the big waves. There's likely to be a lot of balancing adjustments from this early build – I'd love more reason to g♑et creative.

The structure of Mycopunk – dropping in to clear variation co-op mission types – will be familiar to a lot of players. It's the same rhythm of play as something like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Helldivers 2 or Deep Rock Galactic, with the tongue-in-cheek anti-corp tone along the lines of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Lethal Company. Mycopunk brings a colorful aꦓesthetic to the table alongside pleasingly responsive action, but from just these mission types I'm still not completely sold on how well it stands out from the competition (though plenty of modes weren't available for me to play at this point). Mycopunk can be a good time, but so are the other games I mentioned.

The player shoots blasts from an SMG in Mycopunk at a spherical enemy's tentacle as it blasts lasers

I appreciate how quick some of the missions can be to complete. While Helldivers 2 can be the same, it's also easy 𝓀to end up spending perhaps too much time hunting down optional objectives with randoms. With that said, the pace of enemy waves and perhaps the too-open nature of New Atlas in the maps I get to play can make the action a bit overwhelming. Rarely in Mycopunk do you get the chance to regroup with co-op partners and plan for the next objective, something that Deep Rock Galactic excels by the nature of its cavern-by-cavern approach. Mission objectives, on the over hand – in the limited types I've played – are a bit underwhelming. Go from A to B, interact with stuff, and deal with all the enemies chasing after you while you do so.

I'm looking forward to seeing more from Mycopunk. Shooting out enemy limbs is a novel approach that can be fun when you've the space to approach its bigger foes tactically. I'm hoping it🐼 can lean into its strengths to become the really unique co-op shooter that it has the ambitions to be. Until then, my many-limbed arms will be crossed, waiting.

A is now available to play on Steam.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> The first big REPO i♓s taking a little longer than originally planned in part because the developers were "surprised" by the co-op ho🔴rror hit's runaway success.

REPO launched exclusively on Steam Early Access in February and quickly rocketed to virality in a way that reminded me of Phasmophobia and Lethal Company. At the time of writing, . In a new , s🐠emiwork's Pontus Sundström joked, "we slept once and we have been awake ever since."

As for REPO's first update, Sundström echoed what he said in an early video in that it's going toꦆ "take a bit lon𒀰ger" than the devs initially thought.

"We want to assure that we are working as hard as we can to get this update out to you guys," Sundström said. "The first u♋pdate will take a bit longer as the huge success of REPO came upon us like a surprise, so there's a lot of admin stuff and boring stuff that we have to do behind the scenes, and of course wo🌄rk on the game and make sure everything is steady and ready for release."

Another reason for the soft delay, as detailed in this from a couple weeks back, is that the devs are still learning the ropes as they go. REPO is semiwork's sec🌞ond game after Voidigo, its first 3D game, and its first game built in Unity.

"As we are working on the first update for REPO, it🅷 will naturally take a bit longer the first time becaℱuse we are still learning things as we go, and we want to make sure that we learn stuff the right way," said Sundström.

T๊his means there should be less time between future updates "because we have more knowledge on things and how to do it," according to Sunds﷽tröm.

Beware: A REPO ripoff called REPO Horror is on the Nintendo eShop, and it has the gall to list a Switch 2 file size as if it won't be nuked from orbit by June.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> REPO isn't exactly pricey as it stands, but developer semiwork doesn't have any intention of making the co-op horror hit fre💟e💞-to-play, either. Why? Because the studio doesn't want to add microtransactions.

"There are no plans to make the game free-to-play, as we don't want to add microtransactions or have cosmetics that you buy with real money," semiwork's Pontus🌱 Sundström says iᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚn a new . "Things like cosmetics, you'll get for free by just simply playing the game – after buying the game initially, of course."

Currently, REPO is just $10 in Early Access on the , which isn't exactly a h🦩igh barrier to entry as it stands. The devs "plan to do a price raise when 1.0 releases," which is supposed to happen after "around 6 to 12 months" in Early Access, but I doubt this is suddenly going to become a $70 or $80 premium title.

Still, given REPO's viral popularit♛y among streamers and in short-form video clips, semiwork could certainly entice a few more playe𝔉rs in by going free-to-play. But the studio's devotion to avoid even the most gently predatory monetization tracks that characterize free-to-play gaming is admirable.

And it's not as if the studio is suffering as it stands, as REPO has been a runaway success. The studio recently explained that they pivoted to co-op horror after running out of👍▨ money since their last game "hadn't been successful enough," and that gamble has clearly been paying off.

A REPO ripoff called REPO Horror is on the Nintendo eShop, and it has the gall to list a Switch 2 file size as if it won't be nuked from orbit by June.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> A shockingly blatant REPO ripoff has surfaced on the Nintendo Store, and it's got the kahunas to list a Switch 2 file size, which presumes the unlikely possibility that it even mak🐈es it to the console's launch date without being copyright claimed ꦰto hell and back.

The game, titled REPO Horror, is available for purchase on the Switch eShop for $5, down from its retail price of $9... how thoughtful of them. I won't link to the productꦑ page to avoid any possibility of inadvertently giving t﷽hese jokers a sale, but I'll say this, it was not hard to find with a quick Google search.

The real RE♌PO is currently only available on Steam.

Looking at the product page for REPO Horror, with a scary smiling emoji (pictured above) and le🍷ttering that's a near perfect match to t🌄he REPO logo, not to mention a media gallery that looks like it's comprised entirely of REPO screenshots to the untrained eye, there definitely seems to be a nefarious quality to this particular ripoff, as if it's intended to deceive shoppers.

Ostensibly, the goal is to capitalize on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:th﷽e viral success of the co-op horror game REPO and trick people into thinkinꦓg it's the same game and buyinܫg the knockoff. It worked on Reddit user , who says they bought REPO Horror "thinking it was the real R.E.P.O. game."

Interesting-Cow says, upon booting up REPO Horror, "it felt off—very low quality and nothing like the official game I was expecting to see," also noting the publisher being listed as BoggySoft and not R🍌EPO developer and publisher semiwork.

The Redditor also says they alerted Nintendo Support to the game and were told "they're escalating the issue to their head🥀 admins," suggesting they weren't the first to🎃 flag the game with Nintendo.

In the🍷 product details on Nintendo's storefront, the game file size is listed as 1GB on both Switch 1 and Switch 2, which again, assumes the game will survive whatever processes exist on Nintendo's end and, potentially, f🌼rom semiwork. It almost certainly won't, but I've reached out to Nintendo and semiwork for comment and will update this article if I hear back.

Meanwhile, Nintendo wasn't ready for how in-demand the Switch 2 would be in Japan, as boss warns there isn't enough stock from its official store to fulfill the 2.2 million lottery sale applications.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO is this year's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Balatro. It's a phenꦅomenally suc📖cessful indie that shot to the top of the Steam charts and has stayed in the top 10 for a long while. But, it was make or break for the devs that created it.

Semiwork's previous game Voidigo had taken six long years to develop, and it hadn't done as well as the team had hoped. Making REPO "was a big risk to take, as Voidigo hadn't been successful enough to guarantee a next step," explains Semiwork marketer Pontus Sundström, who recently facilitated a documentary abou𒁏t making REPO.

"We can't take this next ste💫p. We did it anyway," says Walter Tischkewitz, co-CEO, artist, and programmer at Semiwork. "Let's just fail quickly this time. We took all the money from V🌄oidigo and we put it all into this game REPO."

It was a bold strategy, and it paid off big time. Butꦏ, REPO didn't start life as wh🀅at we know and love today.

Originally, it was a single-player cleaning game, which then got a multiplayer component added. When the devs put in the flappy-headed characters, they knew they were 🌌onto a winner.

"We just played around with that and we realized this is pretty funny," re💝members Tischkewitz.

However, cleaning didn't work for them. When the devs realized nothing was keepin♈g players together, they changed it to a moving game. From there, it became a tax-collection game where you have to go into these haunted houses and work as a team to carry out all the valuable goods you can.

T꧂hey built it quickly, tested it regularly, and simply followed the fun. The results speak for themselves, as REPO is one of the most-successful games of the yꦗear.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Windblown, the latest action roguelike from Dead Cells studio Motion Twin, has just gotten a big update packed with more of everything that makes the game tick: weapons, areas, biomes, and much more. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The game was already in great shape when it hit early access in October, and noꦉw it looks like I'm gonna spend a couple d🔯ozen hours tinkering around Sanctuary.

Sanctuary is the first new biome to come to Windblown since launch. It's unlocked via a new quest attached to an NPC named Carlos, who's found at the end of the factory biome. Once you reach Sanctuary, you'll find a new boss guarded by a range of 🍸new enemies.

As you explore, four fresh weapons will liven up y🌱our builds: the Sharp Sisters dual blades, the hefty Elder Sword, the laser beam Sentinel Wings, and a Fishing Rod that can yoink enemies off stages Super Smash Bros-style.

Auxiliary progression is what keeps me coming back to this style of roguelike, as was the case with Deaಞd Cells, so while new content is always exciting, I'm especially intrigued by the new Remai𝕴ns System. With it, "players can retrieve the valuable Cogs, Memonites and Encrypted Memories lost in their previous Expedition, saving resources to unlock permanent upgrades to assist future runs into the Vortex," Motion Twin says. "Failure to retrieve these resources makes them lost... forever."

If you've ever reclaimed lost XP in a Soulslike, the implementation of this system will sound familiar. Start a new run and reach the point where you died,💜 then look for an indicator that will "appear at the edge of your screen when you get close to your remains."

This is obviously a comfy change that should help speed up progression and soften the blow of death, but it's also an interest✱ing design concession for what's still a hard-as-nails action roguelike. What is lost run over run, and how those runs are distinguished in-universe, are ever-evolving 💝questions in the malleable roguelike space.

Windblown has had a rock-solid early access run so far, and this update looks like more of that. Between this and Hades 2, we're spoiled for premium action roguelikes these days. (I find myself coming back to Windblown more because it's less story-driven, whereas with Hades 2 my instin🥀ct is to wait for the story to fall intoꦑ place.) I can't wait for both of them to hit 1.0.

"How can we do better than Dead Cells?": Motion Twin follows a roguelike icon with a co-op game under huge but "good" pressure with "millions" waiting.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> As the development🅘 team behind co-op horror hit REPO plays catch-up amid runaway success rivaling its distant relative Lethal Company, they're also working on a big update that will improve the game's lobby situation, content variety, and social features.

In a recent Q&A video, developer Semiwork addresses a few community queries and pulls the curtain back just a bit on its first big updaꦰte. The headliner is "long-awaited matchmaking," complete with server passwords, li🍨sts, and region pickers, as well as a kick feature for those uncooperative randos.

With new weapons and balanc🦂ing, not to mention the new Overcharge mechanic, Semiwork is also promising a "more interesting late-game experience." O🃏ld maps, not just the new one, will receive these updates as well.

Games like REPO reach the heights they do not just because of their gameplay, but for how they enable funny and memorable ꧟social situations. To that end, new expressions are coming in th🧜e update, too, so you can adequately display your excitement or despair as needed.

The Q&A also confirms a few things that aren't currently in development, even if they also aren't necessarily off the table. Semiwork isn't w♐orking on additional mechanics similar to Overcharge, for example, and there's currently 𝄹no plan for a traditional finale for the story. Instead, the devs want players to unpack the environmental storytelling at their own pace.

Likewise, there have been discussions about harder variants of monsters that appear in later levels, but the team isn't actively working on them. Potential collaborations – perhaps with Lethal Company, whose creator has been inspired by REPO to tinkerღ with hওis own game again – 📖are in a similar spot: Semiwork is open to game collabs, bu🐼t is too swamped to pursue them right now.

Looking at the server features coming in this big update, Semiwork notes that it has considered the possibility of a 'late join' function that lets peoplꦯe jump into in-progress matches, but "the game is not built for this, so it would be a big rework𒁃." The current lobby setup doubles as a good hacker filter, too, which complicates things further.

ඣIf players want to make changes of their own in the form of mods, Semiwork is all for it. "We encourage mods," one dev says, but "please optimize the amount of server traffic they send to avoid any skyrocketing server costs."

Finally, a fun fact for the folks who haven't heard it: before it was named REPO (Retrieve Extract Profit Operation), the game was called Taxnight and Repossession internall൩y at various points.

For a crash course and some useful tips, here's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to play REPO.

FromSoftware director Hidetaka Miyazaki just isn't a PvP fan, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:as he's said himself.

"I think it's a new challenge for 🐲[FromSoftware], to design game for multiplayer," Yoshida in a recent podcast episode. "Miyazaki-san [isn't] necessarily a big fan of PvP games, so [FromSoftware] will try to make it more accommodating for the people who are kind of intimidated to play the PvP game."

In a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Creator's Voice conversation transcript, Miyazaki again suggests a similar idea, clarifying that FromSoftware has not "decided to shift to a more multiplayer-focused direction" after💜 The Duskbloods and Nightreign are relea🌼sed.

"We still intend to actively develop single player focused games such as [Elden Ring] that embrace our mo🐎re traditional style," he says.

For his part, Yoshida admits that "I'm not a good FPS player, either, so I don't play these competitive games." 𓆉Regar𒉰dless, he says vampiric PvPvE The Duskbloods is his most anticipated Switch 2 title, and "of course" it "should be great" in the end.

Elden Ring Nightꦐreign will release on May 30 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, and PC, while The Duskbloods will be out sometime in 2026 as a Switch 2 exclu⭕sive.

In a new episode of the Quad Damage Podcast (), Oshry goes on an amusing ran🏅t about Esca෴pe from Tarkov and in general, the growing prevalence of games like it. He begins by sharing his reaction to the reveal of The Duskbloods, which he says looked like "Bloodborne 2" until he found out it was a multiplayer game.

"You've seen the posts, like, [FromSoftware president Hidetaka] Miyazak⭕i's been playing Tarkov. Tarkov has done ir🎃reparable fucking damage to the game industry, because everything needs to be a fucking, what do they call it, an extraction shooter? I just like regular ass games, but I'm old. I get it, I'm not the target audience for these games."

While not an extraction shooter per se, The Duskbloods does seem to have elements of both extraction games and battle royale games, and yeah, admittedly Bloodborne 2 sounds a lot more exciting on the surface. That said, Miyazaki is at the helm, and he's left little reason to doubt him so far. He recently addressed concerns over The Duskbloods being a PvP game, saying "I personally am not much of a PvP person, and I wanted to make something that's satisfying ev🎐en for players like me.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> 10 Chambers was founded in 2015 b♈y Payday creator Ulf Anderson. Recruiting a boss battle-worthy collective of nine of his most formidable friends and collaborators, each chamber represents a different co-founder. A decade later. The unexpected success of 2019's co-op horror shooter GTFO has seen the smoking gun of an FPS studio balloon into a team of over 100. Yet while many expected 10 Chambers to double down on the success of the 2.5million selling GTFO, the Swedish studio is instead returning to t🍒he heist genre its founders pioneered. Enter Payday's sci-fi spiritual successor – Den Of Wolves.

"This game has been in Ulf's mind, since a few months into the production of the first Payday," explains 10 Chambers co-founder and audio director Simon Viklund. "Quite early in production of the first Payday game, we realised that [we] can't do this and that, because of the contemporary setting. So Ulf put Payday in the future, as a concept [🍒...] for 10 Chambers to do."

Future plans

Aiming down sights with a yellow shield ahead in Den of Wolves

While the aesthetic of this neon-drenched dꦜystopia invokes CD Projekt Red's fictional Night City, 10 Chambers' latest is actually set on a very real island just Northwest of Hawaii – Midway Atoll. In Den Of Wolves' fiction, 2030 saw the world as we know it ♍plunged into chaos. Hackers led an unprecedented suite of AI-driven attacks, with no asset or data left safe from the civilization-destroying cyber warfare. With the world in ruins, and global governments brought to their knees, the richest corporations banded together to offer survivors an AI and regulatory-free safe haven – Midway City.

Fast forward to 2067 and players find themselves embroiled in a desperate fight for survival. With AI completely banned from the isolated and strategic Pacific Ocean archipelago, the newly-founded Midway City runs entirely on neural technology. Each🅷 heavily-armed district of Midway City is owned and operated by private corporations, and ruled through violence. With no governing bodies left to regulate them, fear and cash are king, with Viklund describing Midway C♌ity as "the capital of capitalism". Yet with biological hackers now able to 'dive' inside neural networks, a new type of crime has festered on this once peaceful island.

"We wanted to build a backstory in a way where there are things pointing towards Den Of Wo💫lves' setting actually being a plausible future," says Viklund. "It's why we chose to set Midway City on a piece of land that actually exists, and one that is unincorporated from the US… There are reasons why this would b🅘e a feasible location for a stock exchange between Asia and the Americas. So, we're trying to anchor our sci-fi in reality."

A standoff between the crew and security in Den of Wolves, a yellow shield blocking a bottleneck between a cool blue room and the outside

It's in this nightmarish hellscape that players find themselves hustling to survive. Put in the blood-soaked boots of a hungry citizen, Viklund's quick to point out that you are no heroic do-gooder – you're just here to get paid. Another four player co-op heist sim, Midway City will be divided into a yet to be determined number of dangerous districts for players to steal and shoot their way through. But in order to make it to the big 🥃heists, you'll have to do your homework.

Den of Wolves' prep missions see you 🎉and your crew tackling a series of small-scale infiltrations, allowing you to gather everything you need before tackling each district's main heist. Whether it's breaking into an apartment building to gather essential intel or sneaking your way across a tech warehouse to gather weapons꧑, your choices will determine the shape of heist that awaits.

Brain drain

Bodies litter a ruined office in Den of Wolves as the player guns down an enemy

I get to play one prep and one heist proper. The prep mission sees myself🦩 and my teammates sneaking through a heavily-guarded museum-esque office block. Swarming with helmet-clad stormtroopers patrolling each corridor, stealth is the name of the game as we attempt to escape with a high tech spider drone. It turns out, life had other plans. Edging our way out of the elevator, one of my crewmates tiꦦptoes towards a patrolling guard, knife in hand. Yet just as he goes in for the kill, a second guard enters the room and pulls out his auto rifle. So much for stealth.

"These mega structures give us🐭 freedom in terms of l🔥evel design."

As the blade pierces the first guard's throat, bullets ricochet acros𒁏s the walls, and our once-crouching crew sprints our way through the open door. We make our way across increasingly heavily-guarded rooms until we eventually ♏find a vault. It's your standard sneaking and shooting affair, the sterile white environments of the glitzy building failing to live up to the intriguing narrative setup.

Thankfully, the main heist more than delivers. Once my squad and I have selected our loadouts we look at a building schematic to go through our game plan. There are three hea🅰vily armed floors containing eight vaults, four of us, and one neural linked target that we need to hack. We've already convinced the gang that ru꧅ns this building that we're delivering vital tech for them, so we sneak in, and cover each floor.

We enter a sprawling Judge Dredd-esque mega structure – part gargantuan housing estate, part heavily armed fortress. "These mega structures give us freedom in terms of level design where you can essentially take an elevator 💟in the same map, from the slums to the penthouses," says Viklund.

The crew come upon a vault door in a stairwell in Den of Wolves with sparse yet striking lighting

Aꩵs we're led in by the gun-toting gang, we're accompanied through🐓 the vast perimeter, walking-sim style. Our chaperones take us floor by floor through increasingly grim surroundings. I spy a tortured prisoner strung up from his arms. We roll past barricaded apartments and blood stained rooms – across corridors littered with destroyed furniture and piles upon piles of decimated droids. As gang members talk us through what's happening, rooms contain TV bulletins that 10 Chambers tell me are affected by the players' prep mission choices. It's an intriguing first glimpse at how your decisions in-game might play out, affecting both the environmental storytelling and even whether you are willingly let in the building as I am, or instead have to fight your way through.

"The story is mostly told in the heist, because tha♐t's this narrative payoff to – and the consequences of – your choices throughout the prep missions," explains Viklund. "There's a character being tortured in o൲ne scene as you walk by, and that's actually someone who sold information to you. They don't know that you're the one that sold them out – but you can see the consequences of you interacting with this gang."

The player backs away from a firefight in Den of Wolves as someone receives a bloody headshot

Once we've been led into the main foyer – and can spy our neural-linked target – the ruse is up. Armed with a trusty DMR and an🦹 auto rifle, myself and one team mate plant explosives on a nearby window before heading to our vaults. Throwing down a plasma shield, I cover my teammate as he uses a drone to begin drilling through the first vault door. With crudely armed bandana-laden bandits raining down fire on us, my two other teammates are ransacking the vaults on the opposite side of the sprawling lobby. It's a fun mix of tactical play, with each team eventually finding the required keys, and fending off attackers before we make it to the main vault and our target: the gang leader's brain.

In Den Of Wolves' fiction, this biological hacking is known as diving. Neural dive sections see players suddenly dragged out of the physical location and thrust suddenly into the mind palace of the target they're hacking, sucking me out of an intense firefight and hurling me into a pulsating, crimson nightmare. Leaping through a gravity-defying set of floating islands, my teammates and I have to reach the other side of the mind palace in order to complete the first stage of hacking, and return into the physical realm. Part Fear 3, part Control, this trippy platforming section is an unexpe✱cted palet🔜te cleanser.

"The dives are really a tool to create variety for the player – a change of pace, change of gameplay, change of setting," explains Viklund. "We're working on one now, which is in a forest and you're being chased by a monster. So a dive could be more horror, or ꦫwe can give the players weapons in the dive as well – but we can make it so that it's one shot, one kill, and that makes it more dangerous. The rules can be a bit different there, and it's one of the things that makes ending up in a dive feel exciting."

Jumping through a strange dream space in Den of Wolves made up of crumbled streets and neon lights

It's clearly still early days for Den Of Wolves, a🐽nd in this current state, it's difficult to get a full grasp of the storyline, so Viklund explains the vision for robbing your way acro🎃ss Midway City.

"We're not the type of company who would do cutscenes and take the control away from the player – it will be all in game, and defined by your choices," says Viklund. "A storyline can be four prep missions in the one heist, a snack size storyline - or storylines could be eight prep missions and then the heist followed by six prep missions and another heist. Some will be free, some paid DLC. It's still early 🅰– there's no recipe, no rules."

All in all, it's an impressive first showing for Den of Wolves, a sci-fi shooter with a lofty sense of ambiti⭕onജ. Yet just as my in-game avatar walked past a room filled with forgotten and discarded droids, I can't help but feel that the last few years have seen many online shooters share the same fate.

"We've been refining this formula for over 20 years now," answers Viklund, on why players should believe in Den of Wolves. "From working on Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 20 years ago, which was the first FPS co-op game, to Payday, Payday 2, and GTFO. 𒊎So, I'd like to think that we have a good 🐼grasp on the concept. I think that people can trust us to put something together that is worth keeping their eyes on."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> If you want to know how to save a game in REPO, we’ve got some bad news: you can’t. Not manually at least, as REPO relies on an autosave feature, which means it only saves 🌠at certain checkpoints. It’s important to know when the game autosaves, so you’ll know when it’s safe to quit. But beware; should you die in a game of REP𒁏O, that save file is deleted.

This guide will show you when REPO saves the game, how co-op save files work, and how to protect save files against deletion. That’s right; although you can’t save manually, you can create a backup save.

How to save your game in REPO

The shop in horror game REPO.

REPO will autosave the game whenever you enter the Service Station (in-game shop, see picture) or start a new level. This means a brand-new game of REPO is only saved after you complete the first stage with a successful extraction. If you leave the game earlier, your progress won’t be saved and you’ll have 🐟to start from scratch next time.

To be clear; if you’d like to buy upgrades from the Servicওe Station shop before leaving and saving the game, just get the items you want, complete the purchase, and hop into the next level; the next time you ♏boot up the game, you’ll begin at the start of this new level (instead of the shop), complete with all the items you purchased.

After reaching a savepoint, press ‘escape’, ‘main menu’, and ‘yes’ to leave the game. In the main menu, choose ‘singleplayer’ o𒐪r ‘host game’ to find your saved file. If you have more than one file, you can tell them apart by their info; click to see the date (last used), level, time played, and total haul (total loot value). Choose ‘load save’ to continue playing.

If you’re playing REPO in multiplayer mode, only the host will get a save file. So, if you joined your friend’s game, you won’t be able to load that same game yourself. As it’s important for the host to have a stable 𝓰internet connection, be sure to pick the best candidate from the get-go since you won’t be able to swap hosts later on (unless you’re wi🦄lling to start from level 1 again).

As a host, it’s possible to invite friends to any saved game, including the ones previously used for singleplayer. It’s also possible to grab a saved game used by yo𝕴u and your friends, and continue playing solo. In other words, if you’re꧑ using separate save files for solo and co-op play, be careful not to mix them up!

How to backup save files in REPO

A backup save file in horror game REPO.

Although you still have to mind the checkpoints to save your REPO game, it’s possible to create a backup save file to protect you against defeat. It works like this: you create a copy of the save file, then hop into the game and – due to an unfortunate encounter with one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO monsters – die. Y💮our save file is deleted, but you don’t need to start from level 1, as you can take the copy, place it in the right folder, and restart the level.

To create the backup file, go to the save file location: type ‘AppData’ in the search bar on your computer, then open the folder (AppData is located in the map with your username). Click ‘LocalLow’ followed by ‘semiwork’, ‘Repo’, and ‘saves’. Open the saves folder, copy the save file you want to backup, and paste it. Do not leave it in the same folder; right-click the copy, select ‘cut’, and go back toℱ the previous folder (the ‘Repo’ folder) where you must paste it again. It should look the same as the picture above.

If you die, exit the game, go back to this location, delete the ‘- Copy’ part of the file name, and drag it into the ‘saves’ folder. Restart REPO and continue playing! Of course, a backup file won’t keep up with your progress, so if you reach a new level (a new save point) you must create a new backup💝 using this process again.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Installing the best REPO mods will mix up your games and ensure endless horror-survival fun. There are plenty of mods to try too, with some adding new monsters and mechanics, while others alter the look of the game or add new multiplayer features. Obviously, if you've just learned 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to play REPO, mods and cheats might not be for you just yet, but I've also laid out how to install mods for when you're ready. With that🌞, here are all the mods I recommend for REPO💎 to enhance your extraction games.

REPO Mimic mod

A player using a flashlight in horror game REPO.

Lethal Company players may already know this one: the . Not only will monsters react to you and your allies’ voices, but they will mimic them, which is👍 likely to result in confusion, jump scares, and overall hilarity. Just imagine your teammate calling you over only to see a Reaper standing next to their decapi🙈tated head… It’s a bit unsettling, to say the least.

The Mimic mod, created by eth9n, is based on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Lethal Company’s Skinwalker mod, which has the same effect. The mod saves random audio clips from the team’s voice chat, which are then repeated by monsters. Friend or foe? By ♓the time you find out, it might🌳 be too late.

REPO Weeping Angel mod

Once you’ve encountered all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO monsters a few times,🥀 you may find yourself yearning for a new and terrifying enemy. Luckily, there’s a plethora of mods that add new enemy types to the game, with the arguably being the scariest of the bunch.

We won't tell you what it does (although Doctor Who fans may have some idea), but if you see one of these angels, do not avert yo♐ur gaze. Honestly, this thing is worse than a Robe, and that’s saying something. For more ghastly enemies, try or the .

REPO Death-Head Hopper mod

A head rolling on the floor in horror game REPO.

Dying in REPO is no fun, and waiting for your teammates to find your poor little head is even less so, but thanks to the by Cronchy, death won’t be boring anymore; now you can hop and roll ꧃around the map as freely as i🅰f you had legs.

Make no mistake; you’re still deceased and in need of a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO revive, but you can explore your surroundings or try to find an ally while you wait.☂ The great benefit of exploring REPO as nothing but a head is that you can’t die twice - with the Death-Head Hopper cheat installed, 👍you can enjoy REPO in peace.

REPO More Head mod

A customization mod in horror game REPO.

REPO’s robots are cute enough in their default form, but have you ever wished you could change more than just their colour? With the by YMC_MHZ, your character can finally wear glasse🍬s, don a sombrero, grow a moustache, and smoke a cigar. REPO’s monsters may not be impressed, but your friends certainly will🦋 be.

If More Head’s default options aren’t enough to satisfy your inner fashionista, there are ma🎶ny additional customization mods you can try, such as and . The possibi🔯lities really are endless.

REPO Dynamic Lighting mod

Pink lighting in horror game REPO.

Headman Manor and the Swiftbroom Academy are lovely places, but with some help from the by DirtyGames, you can make them even lovelier. Dynamic Lighting doesn’t overhaul the graphics, but it allows you to increase fog density, improve ambient lighting, and change the colour of your surroundings. If you’d like to spice up the atmosphere, you 🐻might want to add a thick, green mist, or turn all the l🐽ights bright pink, for example.

Beware that you do need to adjust the settings manually to create new effects, but it’s very easy; in the 🌞Thunderstore app, go to ‘edit config’ and select the Dynamic Lighting mod, then add new values to the various fog and lighting sections as you please.

REPO More Players mod

The server list in horror game REPO.

Why should you be satisfied with a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:maximum REPO team size of six when you can have a team of, let’s say, twenty? Or thirty? Fifty maybe? With a bit of help from the by zelofi, you and your oversized team will overrun RE⛎PO’s monstrosities with ease. More Players allows you to choose any maximum team size and invite as many friends as you want.

The More Players mod will set the default lobby size to 10 players, but if you open the Thunderstore, click ‘edit config’, and select MorePlayers, you can input any number you like. Just keep in mind that REPO isn’t designed for massive player teams, so don’t be surprised if the game can’t handle a lobby of more than 20 players. Don’t have that many REPO-playing friends? Combine this mod with the ‘Server List’ (see below) to join a mas⛦sive ༺REPO lobby.

REPO Server List mod

A server list in horror game REPO.

What to do if you prefer co-op mode, but don’t have friends to play REPO with? The base game doesn’t have random matchmaking, which means you can only join ꦅand invite people from your personal Steam friend list. With the by QERT2002, it’s finally possible to play with strangers.

To join a REPO server, simply install this mod, open REPO, and choose ‘join game’ as usual, then pick a server from the server🍃 list. Naturally, you can still play with a frien𒀰d by joining the same server and filling the rest of the team with random players.

REPO Late Join mod

Two players in horror game REPO.

Imagine; you and your friends have gathered for a thrilling game of REPO, you’re waiting in the lobby, ready to start… But wait - where’s Johnny? You decide to start the game without him, and a few minutes later, he comes online, asking to j𝕴oin. Now you’ve got to restart the game and have eꦯveryone joining the lobby again. With the from Rebateman, this scenario will frustrate you no longer; latecomers can join after the team leaves the shop, thus removing the need to restart.

Of course, Late Join is a rather specific mod that may not be needed if you and your friends are extremely p🐻unctual, but to teams who frequently de⛦al with players leaving and joining their game, it’s extremely handy. What’s more, it works with More Players and the REPO Server List.

How to download REPO mods

REPO's modding page in the Thunderstore app.

There are various ways to mod REPO, but we’ll explain the easiest one, which involves the Thunderstore Mod Manager. Here’s how to get it:

 1. Download the Thunderstore app .
 2. Open the Thunderstore app, type ‘R.E.P.O.’ in the ‘search for a game’ bar, then click on REPO’s profile.
 3. In the top left of the screen, select ‘get mods’.
 4. Type the name of any of our favourite REPO mods in the search bar and press ‘download’. Of course, you can also choose any other mod from this extensive mod list. If you want more info, click the ‘website’ button instead.
 5. When the download is finished, select the ‘modded’ play button at the top of the screen to start the modded version of REPO (as opposed to ‘vanilla’).

You can download as many REPO mods as you like, after which you can toggle them on or off in the ‘my mods’ menu. Beware that some mods may clash with each other - if the game doesn’t work, disable the less important mods 🌠and give it another go.

As most REPO mods rely on the BepInExPack mod pack, make sure you’ve got th♓is installed and enabled. Upon downloading a mod with BepInExPack dependency for the first time, the Thunderstore app will automatically add this pack, but you can also search for it in the mod list and download it manually.

And that’s how to get the best mods 🐻in REPO. Enjoy your brand-new version of the game!

REPO is only available on PC for now, but if there is a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO console release, it's unlikely that mods will be available as well.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> As I set aಌbout building my homestead on a strange new planet, my mission in Revenge of the Savage Planet turns out to be surrealer than I initially expected. Abandoned by my once benevolent corporate employer – and fired unceremoniously via video message – I find myself stranded on a sprawling grass-covered world, surrounded by bizarre, bulbous creatures. While materials and food supplies seem to be in abundance, on this peculiar pla🐼net I have also encountered…. Well, some, horrifying oddities. From a sentient skyscraper-sized tree tree that demands to be fed live worms to waddling furballs secreting flammable goo, my new home is going to take some adjustment…

That's Revenge of The Savage Planet through and through, th൲e unlikely sequel to 2020's Journey To The Savage Planet. In an age of sour-faced soulslikes and all-consuming live service games, Revenge of the Savage Planet offers a refreshingly colorful and light-hearted throwback to the carefree action platformers of the noughties.

"You honestly never know the way the industry will change over time, so we don't like to chase those trends," says game designer, Steven Masters, "What we wanted to make was just a game that people can enjoy just existing in – somewhere that they can have fun." Par꧃t metroidvania, part Ratchet and Clank, your repopulation mission sees you exploring endearingly bizarre sandboxes as you attempt to mine them for materials, capture and study the local wildlife, and transform your crashed spaceship into a glorious new settlement.

While many developers try and fail to capture that childlike sense of fun, Revenge Of The Planet positively oozes with it. From the player avatar's comically stiff and exaggerated run animation, to the eyeballs of a racoon-esque creature rolling around on the floor after you kill it, each planet is a playground in the truest sense of the word. While its predecessor was played from a first person perspective, Revenge's move to an oveꩲr the shoulder perspective allows for some enjoyably-daft player expression. As I deck my aspiring astronaut out in a legally distinct Han Solo-esque outfit and the silliest hat I can find, I watch as he slips in a pile of goo – legs flailing like a daddy long l🎶egs on ice skates.

Players can opt to hop and blast their way across Revenge of the Savage Planet's five planets alone if they so choose, but Masters recommends bringing a 'co-op meat clone' along for the ride. In game development, it's hard to predict what will be a hit, with genres that're hot at the start of production becoming passé by the time the game's finished. After a 🍬three and a half year development cycle, it's a terrifying reality that Racoon L𒅌ogic knows all too well – yet thanks to the success of Split Fiction, Revenge's local co-op focus feels vindicated.

"It's really nice to see Hazelight just doing beautiful work and showing that it's possible to be good in that space again," reflects Masters on Split Fiction and It Takes Two's phenomenal success, "It was really validating for us when we saw those games it was just like, 'yes!' People still want [co-op experiences] – a co-op adventure isꦡ something that players are going to be fine with."

Yet where Split Fiction feels like unearthing a lost Xbox 360-era classic, Revenge of The Savage Planet channels the spirit of the PS2 glory days – or at least the rose tinted version that you remember. There's a playful c♋artoony spirit to this world's sci-fi violence. Anime-eyed mushroom creatures waddle over to you swee🙈tly, before you learn that you must mine them for precious carbon. Yeeting a nearby racoon with a hefty kick, its terrified cartoony eyes bulge in terror, sending the furball hurtling into a tree with a comic book SPLAT.

Best served gooey

Influenced by everything from Jak and Daxter to Rick and Morty, Revenge Of The Savage Planet is unashamedly video game-y, gleefully embracing the joys and absurdity that the medium brings. Roaming around green grassland and leaping across gloriously blue water, the good natured co-op goofing around evokes the feeling of weekends spent devouring a two-player game in your childhood bedroom. In a nice touch, players can also deck out their spaceship base with whatever furnishings they see fit, using their gathered materials to kit out your ship, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons style. Masters states that every item you place in your ship will have i♑ts own uniquely silly player interaction.

Yet the real joys of Revenge Of The Savage Planet are to be found when you go and play outside. As you attempt to rebuild your ship, create a settlement and make your way to the next planet, each sandbox boasts disparate game systemಌs that collide together in a satisfyingly immersive sim fashion. Armed with a goo gun, players have a myriad of sticky projectiles to load it with, allowing them to coat enemies in lava, suspend them in a chewing-gum-esque gloop, or simply just douse them with water.

Each adorably goofy creature responds pleasingly uniquely to each substance. Whet🀅her it's a green gunk that changes the colour of your unimpressed-looking enemy's fur, or the pink sludge that sends them sliding across the gunk-soaked floor, even in my short demo, this leads to some playful experimentation. Can't reach the summit of that just out of reach cliff face? Create yourself a gunk-tastic goo-bridge! Surrounded by a horde of adorable charging crittersꦐ? Douse them with flammable gunk and watch the poor fauna burn.

Surrounded by furry creatures in a red forest in Revenge of the Savage Planet

As you attempt to colonize each new planet, new FMV videos will play out on your ship's computer.༒ These slick irony-drenched vignettes paint its actors in a hyper real, Fifth Element-esque hue, offering enjoyably unhinged insight into the megacorp that left you stranded in space – Alta Interglobal. It's an irony-drenched middle💎 finger to the sort of megacorporate ownership rife in the industry at the moment – after all, the developer's previous company was unceremoniously shuttered alongside Google Stadia's platform. If the first game was sceptical of big business, Revenge of the Save Planet has simply had enough.

With the story moments only shown on your ship, it's up to players how much they choose to engage with the narrative - with your regular objectives playing out on the planets themselves. Alongsid🧜e a cast of colourful and cartoony characters that attempt to make contact with you via your ship, this video screen also showcases a series of enjoyably unhinged live action commercials, skits that have more than a whiff of Rick and Morty's ad-libbed interdimensional cable.

Diving in a dark cave in Revenge of the Savage Planet, illuminated only by glowing red plants

It's an anဣarchic sense of humour that permeates throughout Revenge Of The Savage Planet. Even in my brief demo, my intergalactic adventure was brimming with fun little easter eggs that paid homage to various films and games. From the 'press X to pet respects' that shows up when I peruse my collection of captured critters in a Jurassic Park-esque zoo, to the Metroid Prime-esque scanner AI that scolds me for eating a plant before checking whether it was poisonous, here's hoping that each planet is as consistently full of knowing nods and playful jabs.

It turns out, co-op games are like buses – as just weeks after gamers were gifted Split Fiction, Revenge Of The Savage Plaꦓnet will be along to serve up more multiplayer shenanigans. Masters confirms that the build I'm playing is almost complete, with Revenge Of The Savage Planet hitting all modern platforms on the 8th of May.

Could that include crash-landing on Nintendo's shiny new console? "We're going to see what the announcement is," Masters says, referring to Nintendo's April 2 direct. "It's highly likely that we'll end up at least trying something on there, but it probably won't be f🦩or a while."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Elsie Bennett and Kaja Chan, the actors who play 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction dual protagonists Zoe and Mio, respectively, almost botched their first audition by not knowing the🎐y had to liter🉐ally flip the script they were holding to read the second half of the scene.

"It 🎉was a scene in a li💖ft," Bennett said in an interview on Hazelight's YouTube channel (). "We went in and we did the scene, and then, you know at the end someone says cut? No one was saying cut," said Bennett.

"No, we were just s𒊎tood the♛re, sweating" added Chan.

"We had done the last line and it was like [exten🦄ded pause], lift acting, like a lot of lift acting. Really waiting, like 'they are really dragging out this cut,' and then they were like, 'OK, cut, did you not have the rest of the🐠 scene?' and neither of us had realized that on the other side [of the script] there was like another half of a scene, and from that moment we were just laughing."

"Wꦅe lost it, but I think that worked in our favor, you know?" said Chan.

"We very quickly realized that we were of the♚ same ilk," said Bennett.

Honestly, I can totally see myself pulling something like this, so I absolutely sympath💛ize with Chan and Bennett's situation here, but it's also hard n🅠ot to chuckle at the thought of the two actors standing awkwardly in an imagined elevator, silently sweating bullets, only to find out the crew behind the scene was every bit as confused as they were. Of course, ultimately they both got the part, making it even easier to laugh at their predicament in hindsight.

Split Fiction is already being turned into a movie as "top Hollywood studios" reportedly start a bidding war over the co-op sensation.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> REPO strength ꧙upgrades are a great way to improve yourܫ looting ability and monster-slinging skills. Lifting heavy items and enemies requires muscles, which is a pity, considering that the heaviest items are usually the most valuable and the thickest monsters tend to be the most dangerous.

Luckily, you can upgrade your REPO strength stat as soon as you’ve completed your first extraction. This strength guide will show you how to get the upgrades as well as the number of strength upgrades requir⛄ed to yeet a heavy monster.

How to use strength in REPO

The map and strength level in horror game REPO.

Strength is one of the main player stats in REPO, alongside health and stamina. It affects your ability to lift things, which not only includes items, but also monsters. This means that the strength stat has two main pu𒊎rposes:

 • A higher strength stat makes it easier to loot valuables as you’ll be able to carry heavier items.
 • The strength stat determines which monsters you can grab and throw, thus dealing damage without a weapon. As you would expect, smaller REPO monsters typically weigh less than the big ones.

To check your current strength level, open the map (p▨ress ‘tab’). If you have any strength upgrades (one strength upgrade equals one strength level), you will see the num🌠ber of upgrades on the left side of the map. If you’re new to REPO, your strength level is probably zero.

To be clear, it’s not necessarily a bad thing to play REPO at low strength, but if you find a valuable, heavy-weight item, you must ask one or two teammates to help you carry it. So, if you’re stuck with a low strength level for now, it’s helpful to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:create a maximum-size REPO team.

How to upgrade strength in REPO

A strength upgrade pack in horror game REPO.

It’s possible to boost your strength with strength upgrades, available in the Service Station (the in-game store). After each successful round, you and your allies will return to the Service Station to spend your hard-won money. Although the available items are randomised, strength upgrades are nearly always there. Look for the orange packets; it’ll say ‘strength upgᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚrade’ when you hov♑er over them.

The upgrade will initially cost you $6,000. However, every time you return to the Service Station, the price will go up. If you have enough money, you can buy two or even three strength upgrades at once,𒁏 to save money in the long run𓆉.

Place the strength packs on the extraction platform and press the button to complete the purchase. When you start the next round, you’ll find the strength packs in the truck. Beware that you still need to pick them up and interact with them to receive the strength boost - make sure you𒉰 do this before entering the next level.

REPO strength requirements

A player lifting a Trudge in horror game REPO.

Which valuables you can or can’t loot is mostly linked to their size; anything small, such as a diamond, ring, or cup, shouldn’t be a problem at strength level zero. Something bigger, such as the glass rhino d💛isplay, will be difficult at strength level zero but easy at strength level 2.

When in doubt, try to lift the item very carefully. For example, if you find a large display sitting on a table, try lifting it upwards a bit instead of🐲 dragging it towards you, which might cause it to tumble off the table. That way, if you can’t hold it, it won’t take much damage.

With monsters, it’s a different story. You can’t just ‘test’ whether you’re strong enough to hold them - if you try it and fail, it’ll likely be game over. If you’d like to🌳 know when you can hurl the mightiest foes across the room, this REPO strength chart will help you out:

 • Strength level 0: you can throw Gnomes and Bangers. It’s also possible to grab the Spewer and shake it (to make it retreat).
 • Strength level 4: you can lift the Animal, Rugrat, Mentalist, and Upscream. Instead of just shaking, you can also smack the Spewer now.
 • Strength level 9: you can lift the Chef, Shadow Child, Bowtie, and Reaper.
 • Strength level 13: you’ll be able to throw the heaviest monsters, which includes the Trudge, Clown, Headman, and Robe.

Even at high strength, there are some monsters you shouldn’t attempt to grab, including the Huntsman (he will shoot you in the face) and the Apex Predator. The Huntsman, who requires strength level 9, may work out if you bait him into firing or grab him after he shoots a teammate, but it’s🐈 hard to pull off. Given their respective invisibility and position on the ceiling, it’s likely impossible to grab the Hidde🎃n and the Eye.

And that’s how to use strength in REPO. For more tips on looting, take a look at our guide on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to play REPO. For more advice on how to defeat enemies, our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:list of all REPO monsters contains some handy tips.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Our REPO beginner's guide will teach you everything you need to know about how to play REPO, from the basics of looting and extracting to avoiding monsters and the various limitations that might get you killed. The premise of this horror-survival game is simple: REPO sends you and your teammates in a seemingly abandoned building to collect as many valuables as you can before you... well, perish. However, there'꧑s a lot more to it than that, so this REPO guide will teach you how to play.

How to start a REPO game

The starting room in horror game REPO.

REPO is a horror extraction game, which essentially means you must gather loot from creepy buildings and try not to die before you take it home. You can play REPO in a team of up to six players, but you can also try single-player mode - just beware that the game will be more difficult and arguably a little less fun when you’re on your own. If you need more help, we’ve got a guide on澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: REPO team size that also explains how to play with friends.

A new game of REPO starts in an empty truck. When you leave the truck, you’ll find yourself in a starting room with a cart, an ‘extraction poin𒁃t’, and a single door. Your task is to enter the haunted bui♑lding through that door, grab valuable loot, and return it to the extraction point. Currently, the extraction point displays a crying emoji along with the number $0. As you add more loot, this number will go up. You can take the cart with you (grab it with your left mouse button) so you don’t have to run back and forth with every single item you’re looting.

How to loot in REPO

A wine bottle in horror game REPO.

Once you’ve gathered the courage to enter the haunted building, you will likely find some loot in the first room. If you see an item, grab it by clicking and holding your left mouse button, then place it in the loot cart. Not every item you see can be taken; wooden boxes, desks, desk chairs, and computers aren’t part of the loot, but diamonds, wine bottles, goblets, laptops, plushies, and mirrors are. You’ll start recognizing the loot soon enough, but for now, you may notice that the cursor turns yellow if it hovers over a nearby lootable item. You can use this to ‘scan’ the room for valu🐻ables.

So, how much loot do you need? If you look at the upper right corner of your screen, you’ll see a monetary value. It varies a bit per level, but let’s say iꦓt’s $8,000: this means you must loot items with a total value of at least $8,000. Luckily, the loot cart has a screen that shows the current value it holds. For example, if you place a $2,000 wine bottle in there, followed by a $500 goblet, the screen will tally $2,500.

By far the most important thing to remember about looting in REPO, however, is that items can easily break. Some valuables are tougher than others, but even if they don’t get destroyed, they will lose some of their value if th💫ey hit a wall, the ground, or another item. You must grab and drag them very carefully.

A cart full of loot in horror game REPO.

Now that we’ve discussed the basics of looting, here are a few more things to ke🍸ep in mind as you extract valuables:

 • If you find some good loot in the first room, you can drop it off at the extraction point before taking the cart deeper into the building, to lessen the risk of losing it.
 • While holding an item, use the mouse wheel to move it closer or further away from you. Holding it further away may help you turn corners without slamming the item into a wall. You can also rotate an item by holding the right mouse button.
 • It’s not just your own clumsiness to watch out for; monsters can also destroy items. Don’t leave anything valuable in the middle of a hallway!
 • The only things that can’t damage items are the extraction platform and the cart; you can drop anything onto them and it won’t break.
 • Be sure to open every cabinet and chest as there may be loot behind them.
 • If you can’t lift a particularly heavy item, ask your teammates for help; two or three players can surely manage it.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to find enough loot in the first room to hit the threshold, so further exploration is required. While you may have avoided them so far, it’s almost impossible not to run into some 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO monsters as you move deeper into the haunted building.

Many REPO monsters are deadly, and since you won’t have a weapon in your first game, or much strength, the best advice is to crouch and hide whenever you see or hear anything suspicious - crawl und𝓰er a table, move behind a desk, or turn a corner. If the monster has already noticed you, you can try to run away, but it might be game over if it catches you - remember that the more you learn about each monster type, the b🎃etter your chance of survival!

Furthermore, your stamina is extremely limited. Once you run out, you won’t be able to sprint anymore (it’ll recover, but very slowly), so try to save it for emergencies. You can ch൩eck your current stamina 🎃and HP in the top left of the screen.

How to extract in REPO

The exit button in horror game REPO.

To complete a REPO extraction, you need to bring enough loot to the extraction point, and simply place it on the extraction platform (the one with the emoji). It’ll be collected automatically, completing the extraction. Be careful; don’t stay on the platform while the loot is being extracted, as you will get crushed and die.

Now, return to the truck; once the team is inside, press the envelope button on the screen to leave (see picture). There’s no need to keep exploring at this stage since the extraction point has vanished - you can alwaysꩵ add extra loot on top of the loot threshold, but it must be extracted in one go. There’ll be more extraction points and thus more opportunities to gather extra loot in later rounds, but for your first REPO game, it’s best not to drag things out; savor your victory and retreat as soon as possible.

After a successful extraction, you will return to the Service Station, the in♔-game shop. Now that you’ve got some money (the same as the amount you looted), you can s🥃pend it on upgrades.

Get the best upgrades in REPO

Upon completing a REPO game, the Service Station will offer a random s༒election of upgrades, ranging from stat upgrades to land mines. It’s best to spend as much money as possible to increase your chances of survival for the next round.

For your first REPO upgꦯrades, we recommend 👍the following:

 • Stamina upgrade: allows you to run longer. Prioritise this over a sprint speed upgrade - it’s better to run a bit slower than not to run at all.
 • Health upgrade: boosts your HP.
 • 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO Strength upgrade: this allows you to carry heavier items more easily. It’s especially useful to solo players as they can’t ask a teammate for help.

It’s best to focus on stat upgrades for now,🦹 but if you really want a weapon, go for grenades. Melee weapons can be tricky to use and ranged weapons are above budget for new players, but grenades are a reliable means to ward off monsters - you don’t even need perfect aim, but try to avoid friendly fire.

At the start of the next run, you’ll find your purchased items inside the truck. Don’t forget to pick them up before you head inside the building!

REPO survival tips

Lastly, let’s improve your ꧂REPO survival skills wit💜h some tips:

 • You can revive allies by picking up their severed head (at the location of their demise) and returning it to an extraction point. Take a look at our guide on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to revive teammates in REPO for a more detailed explanation.
 • If a teammate is low on HP, stand behind them, aim at the back of their head, and hold the left mouse button for a few seconds to transfer 10 HP points to them. You can repeat this as necessary, but beware of your own HP meter.
 • Most monsters react to sound, but not just your footsteps; they can hear your voice on the in-game voice channel. If your teammates are being loud, perhaps it’s a good idea to remind them of this fact.
 • Related to that, sprinting, jumping, and breaking things make far more noise than walking. Some monsters don’t react to walking sounds at all, which is yet another reason to walk rather than run.
 • Use the mini-map (press tab) to see a top-down layout of the building. It’ll show you which rooms you’ve explored and how to reach the extraction point.
 • As you won’t be able to examine the map during emergencies, try to memorize the general layout of the building. Make a mental note of good hiding places - you may need them soon! It’s also good to be aware of dead ends as well as the shortest route back to the extraction point.
 • Don’t overstate the usefulness of killing monsters. It’s a dangerous business, and even if you succeed, they’ll respawn before you know it.

And that’s how to play REPO. Have fun, and don’t forg♉et; when in doubt, just cower in a corner and wait for the monsters to pass.

If you want to mix up your extractions a bit more, you could try some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best REPO mods out there. And if you're wondering about a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO console release, we've got a guide covering what we know so far.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction, the latest game from the studio that brought us the game of the year-winning 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:It Takes Two, hasn't even been out for two weeks, but a pair of players have already beaten a secret challenge level. Josef Fares, Hazelight co-founder and director of the game, has offered to fly them out to the studio in Sweden to get a sneak peek at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the next project he's working on.

The secret level has been dubbed Laser Hell and once you see it, you'll understand why. I'm so glad hidden features like this are stilꦇl making it into video games be꧙cause they're so fun once they're uncovered.

To get to the room, you have to enter a binary sequence in an elevator which one YouTuber who b🧜eat the challenge says isn't even visible in the game's code, so I have no idea how the original pair who completed it ev𝕴en found out about it.

First beaten by Chinese , the pair have to complete a precise platforming challenge while avoiding several rooms filled with fast lasers and deadly falls. I've been playing 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:It Takes Two with my girlfriend in preparation for Split Fiction and don't think we'll e🌌ver be as skilled as these two. You can watꦑch a YouTube video of a different duo beating the challenge below. It's wild

Once they beat the challenge, an in-game video plays where Fares congratulates them personally. He says: "Wow, amazing! You have to understand that there are barely people on our team that can make it. It took us a lot of time to f🉐inish it. And I'm telling you that this is a crazy, crazy achievement that you have done."

He then takes a shot at the scrubs like me who have to watch a clip of the feat, and says: "And I’m not talking to you guys who are looking at this on YouTube. If you see this on YouTube, you should go to the game. It's a really hard chဣallenge. But for those of you who are actually in the game seeing this video, I am super amazed."

The real kicker is the prize that E1uM4y and Sharkov are going to get, the chance to see Hazelight's next game. "I'm going to say o♐ne thing," Fares continues. "If you see me in real life, somewhere, and you can prove to me that you actually did this challenge, I can promise you, the first one to do that, I'm going to fly you to Sweden and show you footage of our next game."

And he's made good on𒈔 his promise. He : "Congrats to 'sharkOvO' and 🎃'E1uM4y' for finishing the secret challenge "Laser Hell" in Split Fiction. Very impressive! I will keep my promise and invite you both to Sweden for an early look of our next game. We'll be in touch!"

I'm jealous, obviously🍎, ๊but I'm glad this kind of a prize is being given to people who are clearly very big fans of the game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Split Fiction💝 hasn't even been out for two full weeks yet, but director Josef Fares has confirmed that Hazelight Studios is already working on its next game, which he's "fully focused" on and "super excited" about.

The latest co-op romp from the It Takes Two studio was an immediate success when it released earlier this month – after selling one million copies in only two days, it quickly cemented itself as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hazelight's fastest-selling game ever, and on Metacritic, it's currently the highest rated game of the year, to boot. Now, though, speaking on 🐽the Friends Per Second podcast, Fares says while the team is feeling "super, super happy and excited" foll🐲owing the launch, he's already looking at what comes next.

"For me ꦯpersonally, every time a game is out, I'm kind of done with it," the director admits. "I'm kind of like. 'OK, now it's the next thing,' but this has been a bit extra special because I would say that it's been the best-received game we have done. But to be honest, everybody's su꧒per happy, but I'm so fully focused and excited on the next thing that we already have started, just want to say that. So I feel super, super excited."

While Fares doesn't give any hints about what this next game will be about, noting that "it's quite early" with work on it being started around "a month ago," it hopefully won't be too long before we find out more. He notes: "At Hazelight, we don't work with games [for] more than th🉐ree or four years, and I mean, three or four years is not so far away, then we're gonna talk more about it."

Regardless of what adventure Hazelight is taking us on next, we can be pretty dang confident that it won't have any microtransactions in it, at least. Fares has repeatedly expressed his hatred of them, recently noting that they contribute to a "huge problem" that's "stopping our industry from a creative perspective."

It Takes Two sold over 20 million copies and won GOTY, but Hazelight's Josef Fares says "all the numbers looked really, really bad" before the co-op studio became "this really big developer."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Josef Fares – founder of Hazelight Studios and director of game of the year winner 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:It Takes Two, as well as the massively popular 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction – looks back on his past games and൲ tells us their "numbers" really weren't good.

"Here's the thing: there was always a big, big risk in the beginning," Fares says in an interview with the Edge newsletter. "But I have extreme confidence in what we do. I trust in the core [of the idea]. Brothers, A Way Out, It Takes Two – all the numbers 🌳looked really, really bad. Now it's different, because we've kind of become this big developer, but still, with those early games, I just felt like, 'The core is great, I just know it.' So, trust in your vision, and go with it fully. Don't back away from that."

It's unclear exactly what "numbers" he means, though, because by the end of 2024 – but it took a month to get to one million. By contrast, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiℱction sold one million in just two days, so clearly Hazelight is on the up.

Fares may have been referring to wishlists, pre-orders, some sort of market research to do with how✅ much people wanted co-o🍸p games.

In our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction review, we wrote that the title "cements Hazelight as the master of co-op games." I've loved Fares' games since his first, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, and I'm glad he's had the support and investment from♏ publishers to keep making the kind of co-op🍃 games he loves, too.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fares also praises EA in his Edge interview, saying: "I'm gonna give EA props for actually believing in, and backin💜g up, the vision🐎. They never interfere. Sometimes, I think they get so much s**t they don't deserve. I don't know how they work with others, but with us, it's super good."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> For a long time, EA has been the butt of many jokes about how greedy it can be. Its then-CEO saying he wanted to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:charge us to reload in Battlefield likely hasn't helped its reputation. However, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction dir๊ector Josef Fares says🙈 he thinks the company gets more flack than it deserves.

In an interview published in Knowledge, the new newsletter from Edge magazine, Fares talks ꦓabout how much pushback he got✨ at the beginning of his game dev career, but adds "EA definitely never interferes with any of development. And I mean zero."

Fares has been working with EA since A Way Out, his second game and the first under his own Hazelight Studios. "I'm gonna give EA props for actually believing in, and backing up, the vision," Fares says. "They never interfere. Sometimes, I👍 think they get so much s**t they don't deserve. I don't know how they work with others, but with us it's su💃per good."

Considering It Takes Two won game of the year and Split Fiction sold more than one million copies in just two days, I'm not surprised EA just lets Fares and his team do their thing. But it also sounds like Fares is good at ♍standing his ground and sticking up for his creative vision.

"Developers can sometimes struggle with leadership and clear vision," he says. "Sometimes, I hear a lot of blame [placed] on the publisher, but I think it's a responsibility for us both… The perfect combination is when the publisher respects the developer and the devel▨oper has a clear vision of what they want to do. If that doesn't exist, then there's a risk the publisher will take over more and more. You know, there needs to be a perfect symbiosis between them.

"Publishers sometimes fuck up and [make] stupid decisions – 'we need to do this for the money.' That's why I say clearly: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:no microtransactions, no lootboxes. I think it's very important to understand that we're working with creativity. We have to push the medium forward. We can'🍬t implement that shit and, at Hazelight, it will never happen."

It sounds lik𓂃e Fares has the ideal indie dev/publisher relationship, but those seem rare these days. Hopefully his words help other developers ensure they're making the most out of their time with big 🐓companies.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Hazelight’s newest co-op game, Split Fiction, has gone down a treat. The game was released to massive critical acclaim, becoming the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:highest-rated game of 2025 so far (we loved it in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GamesRadar+ review) over the likes of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Monster Hunter Wilds. Now, not only is Split Fღiction Hazelight’s highest-rated title, but the game is also the studio's fastest-selling, as Hazelight has revealed that Split Fiction sold over 1,000,000 copies in just 48 hours.

In a , Hazelight shares the impressive sales for the game, saying, "The love you all show for our game is overwhelming! Everyone here at Hazelight are beyond happy – and we can’t stop enjoying your amazing r💖eactions!"

Not only is 1,000,000 copies sold an incredibly impressive feat by any means, but also, when you consider that Split Fiction allows a second player to download a free version of the game with the Friend's Pass, it be♛comes likely that the number of people playing the game could be close to double.

Hazelight's previous game, It Takes Two – which won Game of the Year at the 2021 Game Awards and a Golden Joystick for Best Multiplayer Game – took 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:just under a month to reach the same figure.

Four years on, Hazelight director Josef Fares (the "" guy) recently revealed in an that It Takes Two has sold 23,000,0𝐆00 copies, so 𒆙if Split Fiction keeps up its massive momentum, it could easily surpass that number in even less time.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> As soon as I'm introduced to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction's dual protagonists, I share a glance with my partner. I knew﷽ immediately that I would be cast as standoffish 🐟wannabe sci-fi author Mio, the yin to fantasy-obsessed Zoe's yang, but that's about all I was prepared for.

Having played, enjoyed, and admittedly sucked at developer Hazelight's 2021 hit It Takes Two, I was once again ready to suffer through my own platforming ineptitude in the name of another brilliant ꦗstory. Not only do I resonate a lot more with Split Fiction's heroines and their wr♕iterly dreams, but the story itself is a lot easier to simply dive into. It's peppered with nods to beloved genres and games alike – including an Assassin's Creed-style "leap of faith" – and that sense of familiarity put me at enough ease to really jump head first into the action. I know what you're thinking. Mass Effect meets Fable? Weird combination. But that's exactly what Split Fiction is trying to give us: a whole lot of weird in an expertly-wrapped package.

Writer's block

Mio and Zoe get trapped in the simulation together in Split Fiction

When Zoe and Mio briefly discuss their book genres on the way to their publishing meeting – one sci-fi, the other fantasy – I feel my expectations shoot up. But it's not until girls are swept off to experience an AR simulator of their respective story ideas that the true kooky nature of squishing those two genres together really takes shape.

Co-op magic

The two characters in Split Fiction dressed in fantasy gear each with a dragon on their back

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction review: "Cements Hazelight as the master of co-op games"

Zoe's high-fantasy medieval world, all bright colors and vivid, crackling magic, is something fresh out of the Fable trilogy – or, for a more recent comparison, think of Avowed's vibrant fairytale environs. When Mio appears at her side, along with a glowing purple glitch resembling cracked glass, the two women start panickingꦏ – until Mio touches the glitch, transporting the duo to outer space. There's projectiles raining down from a spacecra𒀰ft overhead, slicing through the orange sky, and all I can do is run amok until the barrage stops. I'm then faced with my first platforming challenge – and you know what? It's not half bad.

Falling to my death in a platformer has never felt better than in Split Fiction. That said, the traversal and puzzle system is way more forgiving than its predecessor's. I notice this almost as soon as I take my first double jump as Mio, very nearly missing the ledge of the platform dead ahead of me, only to find that my character automatically grapples it to pull herself up. That's already a huge tick for me. One of my biggest gripes with It Takes Two was the sensitivity of each movement I made, frequently causไing me to miss a jump by a hair's breadth or pivot suddenly to the side, toppling into the abyss.

Split Fiction seems to have a very slight snap-to element applied to its more fiddly platforming sections, allowing me to smoothly hop between small circle platforms in what feels like one fluid motion. Sometimes, though, I forget about it. The platforming panic sets in as I per💖form one jump too many while trying to wall-slide, or hit the A instead of X button while trying to꧅ dash up a climbable pole and leaping off all together. For the most part, though, Split Fiction's brand of platformer action is very easy to get the hang of, and it's made all the better for its stunning level design.

Mio and Zoe enter the fantasy world of the Underlands in Split Fiction

If Mio's story world gives me major Mass Effect vibes, all leaping about a floating space station in futuristic battle gear, Zoe's is the total opposite. The girls touch the glitch a second time, and are sent back to her magical realm – and into the warpa🌳th of rampaging trolls. The picturesque medieval township would be a beautiful place to wander about if not for the hulking bruteꦓs on our tail, so in typical Hazelight fashion, I'm thrown into another chase sequence that's bookended by traversal puzzles galore.

The one that gives me and my partner the most grief, though, involves scaling wooden poles. The aim is simple: dash up one pole before leaping to another before the encroaching troll reaches us. Unfortunately, I discover that colliding with any other surface causes Mio to glitch out in a faux digital "death", only to respawn later in the puzzle alongside Zoe to attempt the next phase again. This is pretty helpful, since it means only one of us really needs to make it all the w🐬ay to the end. Of course, that "one of us" is not myself. Zoe touches the glitch, and we're whisked off again to… somewhere.

The introductory hour of Split Fiction has been a wild ride already, and I can tell there's plenty more waiting ꧒down the line. A cursory glance at the control settings tells me that each character will have access to a special ability or power at some point, much like the character-specific moves in It Takes Two, and I can't wait to discover what exactly those end up being this time around. Hazelight Studios knows how to make an entrance, and if the rest of Split Fiction is this pacy, bizarre, and thematically playful, you can bet I'll stick around for the whꦑole thing.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Killing Floor 3 has been delayed to later this year, just three weeks before itജ was supposed to launc📖h.

Developer Tripwire shared the announcement on , suggestin🎃g the delay had something to do with the game's recent closed beta, which .

"After taking the ✤time to gather and discuss feedback from our recent closed beta, we've realized that we missed the mark," reads the announcement. "Our goal isn't just to make Killing Floor 3 an ambitious step forward for the franchise, but also to maintain the core experience that you've come to know and love."

Killing Floor 3 is a long-awaited follow-up to the survival horror zombie FPS series, and one of the main complaints is that the upcoming sequel doesn't feel like a Killing Floor game, particularly in that it ditches most of the horror elements in exchange for a more futuristic൩, sci-fi vibe. The beta was also widely criticized for performance issues, broken animations, and clunky gunfeel.

Tripwire said it's working on addressing "many 🐎of the common issues players had during the beta, including performance/stability, UI/UꦏX, lighting, and weapon feel." The studio also said an update that'll let you pick your perk class separately from your character will happen after launch.

If you pre-ordered the game, the process of cancelling that and getting back your money will look different depending ꧅on your region and platform. US-based Pl♛ayStation people will get an in-game message offering to either keep or cancel the pre-order, and if you don't respond, it'll automatically be canceled and refunded.

Everywhere else in the world, all pre-orders, regard𓄧less of platform, will be automatically canceled and refunded with the exception of those purchased on Steam, where you'll have to request a cancellat💞ion and refund if you don't want to keep your pre-order.

Delays are always a bummer, but here are some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games to keep the fun going.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Secret Agent Wizard Boy and the International Crime Syndicate already looked like the perfect parody of those adorable PS1 Harry Potter games (and also 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:a love letter to the cursed memes they spawned), but I didn't ex💝pect the physics-driven sandbox game to have gotten basically perfect user reviews in its early access launch.

That's exactly what sibling trio David (Dusk, Gloomwood developer), John (My Friendly Neighborhood) and Evan Szyman🥂ski (also from My Friendly Neighborhood fame) have achieved, however.

Secret Agent Wizard Boy was already a hit with fans (and us here at the GR Treehouse) in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:last year's Steam Next Fest, thanks to an uproarious, almost game-breaking demo that let you multiply꧒ literally any object in its faithfully blocky, flat-textured version of Hogwar- err, I mean, Wizard School. That acclaim has only continued with yesterday's early access launch, though.

Right now, all of the game's 68 and counting user reviews give it the thumbs up. None of them are negative or even♋ mixed. "This is an amazing chaos simulator in the world of Harry Potter (legally distinct)," one player wrote. "The current state of the game gave me a solid 5 hours of playtime, and I still want to continue. Can't wait for the full release."

Others journaled their own shenanigans, my favorite being one player who kept spamming an enlargement charm𝕴 on a safe box until it clipped through the castle's walls, before finally realizing they could throw a teleportation potion at the giant contraption to send it somewhere unknown on the ma💎p.

"A comedic sandbox with a complete🔯 la𒉰ck of safety nets or boundaries," indeed, as the game's blurb reads.

So what do you actually do in the game, ap𓃲art from nearly breaking everything, that is? Playing as the titular undercover agent Wizard Boy who looks an awful lot like polygonal Daniel Radcliffe, you need to infiltrate 'Grumblemort's' school to rea💃ch a vault within its walls, probably to steal his evil macguffin. "Or, he can instead choose to ignore his mission entirely and use knowledge of spells and espionage to wreck havoc and destruction on his fellow students."

If you want to wait until Secret Agent Wizard Boy is completely complete, the developers estimate it may still be in early access for "probably around a year or two," but it could take 🍎longer because, as you can imagine, working on a game as spontaneous as this is tougher than it seems.

For more, see what other indie games are coming in 2025 and beyond.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> It Takes Two director Josef Fares shuts down complaints about there being - shock and horror - two women at the forefront of his new co-op adventure 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction.

H﷽azelight studio head and the co-op maestro behind joyous platformer It Takes Two, prison escape sim A Way Out, and twisted fairytale Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons has been reacting to comments from players in a new video on Fall Damage, and Fares didn't hide his disdain for the bad apples who are mad about something as silly as having to play as a woman.

"What the f*** is this?" he in response to a comment calling Split Fiction "another feminism propaganda-soaked game" because it has two female leads. "I guess this is someone reacting to [the fact that] ൲there are two women. Let me just say this, in Brothers there were two guys. In A Way Out there were two guys. In It Takes Two there was one guy, one woman. And now that there are two girls everyone's complaining?"

He shouldn't even have to, but Fares went on to defend the dual protagonists, explaining that they were inspired by his own two daughters and he doesn't "care what's between your legs - that's totally not interesting to me. Good characters is whﷺat's important."

The problem is less about 'feminism propaganda' and more about the bigotry that gets pushed on almost every social media platform these days because anger leads to engagement and engagement makes money, whether the people contributing to these pages realize they're being used or not. The crowd mad about, let's say, a black man in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Assassin's Creed Shadows or ꦛtwo women in a co-op game weren't around to complain about Barret in Final Fantasy 7 or Lara Croft in Tomb Raider - or they weren't as loud, at least - so I'm glad Fares is calling out the blatant hypocrisy.

Split Fiction, the new game from the It Takes Two devs, launches to Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam and is the highest rated game on Metacritic this year

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> It Takes Two and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction director Josef Fares has doubled down once more on his hatred of microtransactions in games, explaining that they're the "kind of shits" that affect game design, and not in a good wayꦛ.

R🌼ight from the moment when Hazelight Studios' latest co-op romp, Split Fiction, was announced, included. This ideology is something he's reiterated, having rec🦩ently that the studio will "never have microtransactions" in its games. Now, he's elaborated on this a bit further in a video reacting to YouTube comments (via Fall Damage), explaining that he thinks microtransactions are "a huge problem" for the games industry.

Responding to one comꦇment praising his "no loot boxes, no microtransactions, no bullshit" line as "words to live by," Fares says: "Of course, and that goes for everything we do at Hazelꦫight.

"I think those kind of shits affect the design of how the ga⛄me should be done," he continues. "Every time you [make] a decision, a design decision, [made based] on you making more money in the game, I think it's a huge problem and it's stopping our industry from a creative pers📖pective."

When it comes to creativity, Fares certainly knows his stuff. Split Fiction has debuted as Metacritic's highest-rated game of the year so far, and it's clear that a big part of that is thanks to how inventive it is. In our own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction review, we said the co-op game is "never short of new ideas or mechanics," and "consistently intr🦹oduces one good idea after another."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction director and Hazelight Studios൩ founder Josef Fares is hoping he wins Game of the Year again in 2025, but he knows he's got some stiff competition if GTA 6 releases this year as planned.

In a Fall Damage video where Fares responds to YouTube comm🉐ents (), he's shown one t✃hat predicts Split Fiction will be this year's Game of the Year. Hazelight took home the big award back in 2021 for the co-op romp It Takes Two, but that game didn't have one of the most highly anticipated releases of all time to contend with.

"I would really appreciate if we wo💫n Game of the Year again, but on the other hand, I'm a huge fan of GTA. I think if that comes out it's gonna be really tough, and I want it to come out because I'm a huge fan."

Split Fiction is currently the highest rated game of 2025, beating out other acclaimed titles like Monster Hunter Wilds and Kingdom Come: Deliver🐻ance 2 with a highly impressive 91 Metascore.

GTA 6, meanwhile, is still scheduled to release this fall, and as Fares alluded, if it does there's a good chance it'll sweep all of the awards shows at the end of the year. That said, the boss of Rockstar's parent company Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, said as recently as February that there's "always aꦐ risk of slippage" in reference to GTA 6's release.

Split Fiction director Josef Fares says Ubisoft is "struggling" and should make a co-op Splinter Cell game: "Don't chicken out to do single-player; just say this is split-screen only."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Will REPO release on PS5 and other consoles? Only time will tell at the moment since the popular horror extraction game is currently only available in early access on PC. That means PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch players can't get involved with the nightmarish action and meddling澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: REPO monsters for now but a console release hasn't been ruled out yet. We've got the latest news on a future REPO console release b💯elow.

Will there be a REPO console release?

There have been no official announcements about a REPO console release yet, which means it’s not expected to arrive on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch anytime soon. However, on the bright side, devel♐oper Semiwork Studios hasn't said anything to discourage our hopes for a console release either. The matter co🌃uld still be undecided, as console ports don’t just depend on a game’s initial success but also its lasting popularity. If REPO remains popular among PC players in the coming months, the chances of its arrival on consoles will increase.

If REPO decides to make the jump, it’ll likely land on one of the latest-gen consoles; the PS5 ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚor Xbox Series X/S. Similar💃 to previously PC-exclusive indie games like Valheim, an Xbox release could be paired with availability on Xbox Game Pass.

A console version of REPO would probably arrive after the game’s full launch (version 1.0), given the fact that games in their early access stage are rare on consoles. The developers expect the early access period to last between six months and a year, which would place this theoretical REPO console release in September 2025 at the earliest, but remember that this is all just speculation𝔍.

REPO PS5 release news

The PS5 store did have a game called ‘R.E.P.O Horror’ listed on the store page with a tentative release window of 2025. However, this turned out to be a copycat game, using different artwork and notably mentioning a different 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO team size. It has since been remov𓂃ed, but be aware of imitators on platform storefronts.

If you're sticking with PC early access for now, you should make sure you know 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to revive in REPO to help your teammates.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> All the REPO monsters have unique behaviours and traits that you need to be aware of if you're to survive. Many of the enemies look downright terrifying (ex🐲cept that demonic duckling), but some are decidedly more deadly than others, while a few are all bark and no bite. However, there are also many different monster types in REPO, so figuring out the deadly ones from the less deadly ones isn't especially easy. That's where this handy list of all the REPO monsters, ranked roughly according to danger level with the most dangerous at the bot🧜tom, comes in, helping you learn how each monster works and how you can defeat them if possible.

If you're after a general overview of the basics of REPO, make sure you check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO beginner's guide too.

REPO Hidden

If there’s one REPO enemy that’s hard to avoid, it’s the ཧHidden. This monster is completely invisible, but you will hear its heavy breathing when it come𝓡s close. If you touch it, the Hidden will grab you and drop you in a random location - you won’t lose HP, but it’ll be hard to find your way back to the extraction point. On top of that, you may find yourself in a tricky spot if the Hidden drops you next to a deadlier REPO monster.

REPO Spewer

The Spewer in horror game Repo.

Here’s another REPO monster that doesn’t deal direct damage but can be plenty bothersome all the same. The Spewer, which looks like a small, floating tadpole, will attach itself to the nearest player and start vomiting poison from that player’s head. Although the Spewer will eventually let go, this can be dangerous as you may accidentally poison your teammates or destroy valuable loot. That said, the Spewer’s po🌠ison can damage other REPO monsters too - but it’s not the most reliable weapon. If you see a Spewer, run away or try to grab and shake it before it reaches your head.

REPO Animal

The Animal in horror game Repo.

You hardly need to concern yourself with this spider-like crawler as it deals the least damage of all monsters in REPO. It will only deplete 2 HP per hit, and it’s fairly easy to kill; just p🦄ick any weapon and hit the Animal until it’s gone.

REPO Gnomes

Gnomes in horror game Repo.

They’re as cute as garden gnomes - if you overlook thei🌳r creepy grins and homicidal tendencies. As one of the most common REPO monsters, it’s a good thing gnomes aren’t among the most dangerous foes. Spawning in groups of four, they will follow players around the map and attack in unison. Despite the low damage, try to get rid of them before you need to focus your attention on tougher enemie▨s - the best way to defeat gnomes is to pick them up and throw them away.

REPO Shadow Child

The Shadow Child in horror game Repo.

W꧅hatever you do, don’t stare at this baby-faced slenderman as it will grab you and throw you away, dealing high damage. The Shadow Child also has a teleportation ability, allowing it to pop up quite suddenly, but since it darkens your vision and makes a rather distinct childish laughter sou𒈔nd when it's near, you do receive some sort of warning. You can simply avoid the Shadow Child’s gaze and wait for it to leave, or you can try to kill it by approaching it quickly (don’t stare!) and hitting it with a melee weapon.

REPO Apex Predator

The Apex Predator in horror game Repo.

The Apex Predator is by far the cutest of all REPO monsters, but also the most irritating. This tiny duckling will choose the first player it sees as its mother and follow that player everywhere, constantly trying to stand in front of them while jumping up and down. It’s very tempting to pick up the Apex Predator and throw it away, but as soon as you touch it, it’ll initiate a vicious biting attack that lasts for about 10 seconds. If you weren’t standing too close, you might be able to avoid some of the damage, but it typically turns you into a Broken One, which means your teammates will need to know 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to revive in REPO to get you back.

Youꦦ may shake off the Apex Predator by hiding in a closet (close the door before the duckling can follow you and it’ll lose interest, but don’t hit it!), but it’s safest to res🎃ign to the fate of being a duckling’s mom for this round.

REPO Rugrat

The Rugrat in horror game Repo.

This massive, jumpy creature is surprisingly fast for a baby. If it spots you, it’ll try to throw nearby items at you, which can deal a lot of damage if you’re not careful. You can’t kill a Rugrat on your own without a weapon (unless you’ve 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upgraded your strength in REPO), but if you do have one, a few hits will take them down. More annoying than the attacks is the fact that Rugrats can easily destroyඣ a lot of valuable loot.

REPO Bowtie

The Bowtie in horror game Repo.

While wandering around the map, this massive white blob will stop and yell at any players it notices. The yelling itself is harmless, but it’ll push you back against objects, walls, or worse; other monsters. After a while, the Bowtie will end its screaming and storm off, potentially damaging you if it hits you. Luckily, Bowt🉐ies are fairly ♚easy to kill with just about any weapon.

REPO Eye

The Eye in horror game Repo.

If you enter a room where this stationary en♔emy resides, it’ll draw your vision towards it and deal damage over time. The Eye only appears on ceilings and won’t move locations, so it’s fairly easy to avoid if you already know where it is, but it can be an unpleasant surprise upon entering a new room. Therefore, always be ready to back away when entering a new area, as breaking off eye contact will stop the attack.

REPO Banger

The Banger in horror game Repo.

Spawning in groups of three, these tiny dynamite-loaded skulls are a nuisance. Upon spotting you, they’ll ignite themselves and run towards you, possibly one-shotting you in the explosion if they get close enough. I﷽t’s hard to outrun the Banger’s damage, so it’s best to pick them up and quickly throw them away - the explosion can actually damage other REPO monsters. If you spot a Banger, you can also take one for the team and lure them away from your allies, sacrificing yourself but saving them in the process.

REPO Headman

The Head in horror game Repo.

This massive floating head aimlessly roaming the REPO hallways is already hard to miss, but it als🦋o gives off a warning sound; you can hear an eerie draft as well as the occasional biting noise when it’s near. There’s a good chance it’ll ignore you if you stay away or sneak behind it, but the Headman may charge if you look at its face, especially when shining a flashlight. It’s not super fast, buℱt its biting attack depletes half your HP bar in one hit, so it’s best to avoid a fight.

REPO Reaper

The Reaper in horror game Repo.

This creepy bladed doll walks around the hallways, and although it’s not the loudest of the bunch, you may hear its footsteps approaching. The Reaper has an extremely deadly slashing attack that will almost certainly kill you, but on the bright side, this REPO monster isn’t very perceptive and can’t hear a thing, so it won’t be attracted to your voice or footsteps,🍨 not even if you run or jump. Try to kill the Reaper with a ranged weapon or - better yet - run and hide when it comes close.

REPO Chef

The Chef in horror game Repo.

This little froggy ꦯwill hop around the place until it finds you, and when it does, it’ll stop in its tracks, give you the creepiest smile imaginable, and draw its blades before leaping at you. The Chef’s attack is extremely deadly, but you can avoid damage by dodging it - luckily, there’s always a brief interval before he makes the jump. A missed jumping attack will incapacitate the Chef for a few seconds, granting you an opportunity to either run away or kill it (beware that the Chef can’t be thrown by a single player without strength upgrades).

REPO Mentalist

The Mentalist in horror game Repo.

Beware of this wannabe guru and its immobilization ability; if you come too close to the floating Mentalist, it’ll lift you and everything within its range into the air, then slam you down after a while. You may survive thi⛦s attack if you’re lucky… but you can also get smashed by a heavy item, or land next to another dangerous monster. Although Mentalists suffer from poor perception (both vision and hearing), they’re still fairly difficult to avoid 🌞as they can teleport around the map.

REPO Upscream

The Upscream in horror game Repo.

Not to be confused with another spider-like crawler, the Animal, REPO’s Upscream monster is extremely deadly to the lonely player. Typically spawning in duos or groups of three, they can easily overpower you as their attacks will stun you for a few seconds, so it’s hard to fight back without allies (best to get a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:full REPO team). That said, when you’re with other players, it shouldn’t take long to kill the Upscreams - just beware that you’ll likely t♏ake some damage in the process.

REPO Huntsman

The Huntsman in horror game Repo.

This trigger-happy fellow is blind, but he’ll♌ use his hearing to track you down. As the Huntsman can even hear footsteps, it’s very difficult to avoid damage once he knows where you are - he’ll only need a split-second to fire his gun in the direction of the noise, making it nearly impossible to dodge. Since it takes a brief moment to reload the gun, however, there’s a window of opportunity to ꧑hide or sprint away if you survived the first shot. It’s best to throw an item to distract his attention.

REPO Trudge

The Trudge in horror game Repo.

This burly🐼 red-and-black fellow with its skull-adorned neck and yellow eyes trudges randomly across the map. The Trudge is relatively easy to avoid as he’s very slow and his heavy footsteps will warn you from afar, but if he does come close, one or two hits will easily be the end of you (until a teammate revives you, that is). Upon spotting you, the Trudge will unleash a shockwave to pull you in, so be sure to keep your distance.

REPO Clown

The Clown in horror game Repo.

This creepy frog-like creature is a bit similar to the Trudge as it plods around the map, thereby warning you with the sound of heavy footsteps. Upon spotting you, the Clown will fire a laser beam from its head or (once the laser attack is in cooldown) try to swipe at you. It’s not ver๊y fast and has pretty bad hearing, but it can easily kill you once you’re in sight, so it’s best to keep your distance or hide until it goes away.

REPO Robe

The Robe in horror game Repo.

This cloaked figure with a creepy white mask will stalk the first player it finds. Although it doesn’t seem to attack unless you look at it, avoiding a confrontation is difficult as you typically won’t notice the Robe until… well, until you’ve looked and thus aggravated it. Once it’s aggravated, the Robe starts yelling and quickly floats towards you - your best bet is🏅 to outrun it and hide.

And those are all the mons𓆉ters you can run into and fight or run away from in the current early access build.

If you're wondering about the possibility of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO on consoles, we've laid out what we know here. There are also plenty of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO mods you can check out which include new monster types!

At the time of writing, Split Fiction has a Metascor𒉰e of 91, indicating "Universal Acclaim" and topping the se👍cond highest-rated game of 2025, Monster Hunter Wilds, by one point. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the third highest-rated game of the year so far with an 88 Metascore.

For some context, , and it won Game of tꦐhe Year at the 2021 Game Awards an🃏d took home a Golden Joystick for Best Multiplayer Game.

Split Fiction is Hazelight's co-op only split-sc🦋reen follow-up to It Takes Two, but it exists in its own distinct universe and centers around two new characters, Zoe and Mio, two authors who be🌌come trapped in their own stories and have to work together to get out.

GamesRadar+'s 4.5/5-star 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction review is largely in line with the general consensus, which is pretty much just, 'yeah this game rips.'

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Learning how to revive in REPO is crucial because it might just save your team having to restart. Dying is unfortunately quite easy in this monster-ridden horror game, so there's a good chance you'll need to help with revives or will need reviving yourself, but the system has a few caveats - you either have tꦛo wait for your teammates to collect your remains (and rob the place) or you’ll respawn at extremely low HP. So, this guid🦩e will show you how to bring back your teammates in REPO and what the consequences are for failing to revive a teammate.

How to revive teammates in REPO

Fallen player heads used for reviving in horror game REPO.

If a REPO player perishes after a run-in with one of the game’s many monsters, their robot character is disassembled, turning them into a ‘Broken One’. This player won’t be able to do anything until they’re either revived or the match has ended - and that includes talking, as Broken Ones are excluded from the in-game voice chat (there is a REPO mod that lets you move your head while🎶 dead, however)

To revive a teammate, the most important thing you’ll need is the player’s head, which must be returned to the extraction point. You should find the head 𝓰somewhere near the location of your teammate’s demise; open the map (press TAB) and look for a dot the same color as the fallen teammate’s character, showing you their last location. When you’ve found the head, pick it up (just like any other item) and drop it on the extraction platform.

Arrows pointing to the loot quota and extraction platform in horror game REPO.

Unfortunately, this won’t revive the teammate just yet as you also need to reach the loot quota. Keep adding loot to the extraction platform (see arrow on the left) until the total value matches the quota displayed at the top right of the screen (arrow on the right). With a larger 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO team size, revives should be much easier to pull off.

Upon activation, your teammate will respawn at the extraction point with only 1 HP, but they can walk into the truck to boost this up to 25 HP. Upon the player’s successful return to the service ship, their HP൩ bar is fully replenished.

Since reviving is so important and is tied to looting and extracting, make sure you know 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to play REPO and the basics too.

What to do when a REPO revive fails

The HP bar in horror game REPO.

If you fail to revive a teammate, the unfortunate Broken One either needs to wait until the rest of the team safely reaches the service ship and st♑arts a new round or until the remaining teammates have falle🍷n as well. Naturally, that last one is the less desirable outcome, as it means you’ll need to start over.

A player who automatically revives at the start of the round rather than at the extraction point will start the next round with only 1 HP, which isn’t ideal if 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO monsters are lurking. Luckily, it’s possible to share your HP with your allies in REPO, so if that happens, you can give some of your own health to the player with 1 HP. Stand behind them, aim at their back, and hold the left mouse but🌱ton to reallocate 10 HP to them. In other words, if you start with 80 HP and your ally with 1, one HP swap will drop your HP to 70 and boost theirs to 11. You can repeat this step as necessary, but be mindful❀ of your own health!

To keep track of your health, look at the top left of the screen; the green numbers n🥂ext to the plus sign are your health points. If it says 100/100, your HP is still full, but if it says 50/100,ꦫ you’ve only got half your life left. All in all, it’s best to avoid HP reallocation as much as possible by reviving your REPO allies using the head-to-extraction-point method.

REPO is currently only playable on PC in early access, so an console release won't be coming soon but 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO on PS5 isn't impossible.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Between the threat of AI, studio closures, and game cancellations, the death of creativity is a sad theme of recent years. It's something that's at the core of Split Fiction – the latest game from co-op specialist Hazelight (It Takes Two, A Way Out) – where corporate greed is l♍iterally sucking inspiration directly from creatives. And yet, it's also its antithesis, where yet again this developer proves it has more ideas for game mechanics 💖and level design than some may have in a lifetime. And it manages to cram all of them into a single game.

As two young writers desperately trying to get published, Mio and Zoe find themselves lured to Rader Publishing. But unlike your average book pu🐓blisher, Rader is a tech company that uses Star Trek holodeck-style technology to instantly bring their stories to life in a type of futuristic ultimate virtual reality.

When Mio smells suspicious intent, she and Zoe are thrown into the same simulation, forcing the two to live out each other's stories with genre-breaking effect. With Mio only focused on sci-fi with robot rampages or races against time and space, and Zoe honed on the dragons, wizardry, and folklore of fantasy, it makes for quౠite the tonal shift between the game's various levꦅels.

Robots vs Dragons

Side by side shots of a futuristic city level in Split Fiction, where one character is wall-running and the other is standing holding a neon sword

Don't read that as a bad thing – it's a brilliant way of ensuring that nothing ever feels monotonous. Like Hazelight's last co-op extravaganza, It Takes Two, there's an absolute abundance of ideas contained within Split Fiction's 15-hour playtime. One minute, you're being chased by a robot hell-bent on revenge for unpaid parking tickets; the next, you're climbing the side of a castle with a baby dragon on your back. Not only have you essentially got two unique games here between the two🍸 girls' narrative genres, but each level introduces a completely new way to play.

There are so many game mechanics in Split Fiction that it's almost sad to see some of them get replaced with something new. Without diving i🅺nto spoiler territory, because there's so much joy in discovery here, there are some levels or smaller ideas that I'd have happily clung to for a full game. My only slight frustration is that sometimes the game decides to take control of the camera at inopportune moments, causing platforming to become awkward, turning you away from the action just when you need to see the next platform. However, these moments are few and far between, and because you don't linger on a mechanic, you're rarely annoyed for long.

Side by side shots of the Split Fiction characters riding on their dragons

The sheer variety here continues to cement Hazelight as the master of cooperative gameplay. While there are some moments where it's a case of pressing a button in sync with your partner, those don't define Split Fiction's⛎ co-op experience. Its approach to working in harmony is constantly refreshing, to the point where my partner and I would have꧂ a little chuckle on the sofa about the sheer ingenuity of it all. You always have a unique power each per level, such as one level making you into ball droids - one capable of magnetising to different surfaces, the other turning into tiny spider droids that can float like a parachute or get into smaller spaces. The fact you never have the same abilities means you have to communicate to be able to progress, and it's a neat hook to make you want to replay as the other character.

The puzzle-solving isn't ever taxing – which I'd argue is important for keeping the fun at the core of co-op gaming rather than frustration or antagonism —but it's smart and often whimsical. There are some small repetitions of ideas in It Take Two, or at least some familiarity, but never direct copies, which feels like a feat in itself for a game of this size. I love the fact that there are knowing nodsꩲ to other games, or self-referential jokes and winks to Hazelight's previous games and creator Josef Fares himself.

The co-op is also generous in other ways. Like It Takes Two, Friend Pass returns♔ here. It allows you to play online w𓄧ith a friend for free, with only one of you needing to own the game. You can also play split-screen locally, too, which is how I chose to play.

And all of this is without even mentioning the Side Stories that you'll find hidden in the main levels. These smaller self-contained adventures are where Split Fiction really experiments with even more mechanics and themes. It's here that things can get seriously weird and wonderful, from playing as a farting pig to SSX Tricky-esque snowboard racing. Split Fiction is also really good ♋at giving you options to just play around with the world. At one point, you find yourself in the middle of a magical market of sorts, and we lost a good 30 minutes just messing around with spells, magic potions, and giant balls of wool. It's not afraid to press pause on its🐽 own action to let you just enjoy the experience of being in its world with someone else.

All of this mechanical creativity is set against the core storyline that brings us closer to our duo of heroes. Mio and Zoe are interesting protagonists, initially 🍨reticent to engage with each other's fictions. Thematically, I don’t think it could really be more on point for 2025. Contrasting against the folklore and flying cars, is talk of deep personal trauma, the terrifying rise of the cost of living, and tech bros getting far more powerful than they should be.

Hazelight has created another brilliant adventure that's going straight into our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games list. Split Fiction is quite the opposite of industry trends right now; amidst everything, it's a b🅷astion of ingenuity and gives me hope that creativity isn't quite as in danger as I feared.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> It’s important to know how many people can play REPO before you jump into this terrifying extraction horror game. If you’re planning on playing with a 🃏group of friends, note that there’s a maxim♕um team size you must stick to. On the other side of that coin, beware that REPO’s multiplayer feature has some limitations that make it difficult to gather a full team of players. To help you form your team, I've explained how many people can play REPO, and how to invite people and play with your friends.

Maximum REPO team size

The main menu in horror game REPO.

You can play REPO in a team of up to six players - you plus five others. That said, you don’t need six players to start a match. It’s possible to play REPO solo, but beware that it’ll be much harder to survive. If you want to play REPO by yourself, just open the game and pick ‘singleplayer’ in the main menu, which will skip the multiplayer lobby and allow you to jump into a new solo game. However, if you want a proper challenge without it being too hard, try playing as a duo or trio - although, however many people you play with, it's vital that you know how 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO revives work - in fact, definitely check out our guide on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:how to play REPO to help you with the basics.

At the time of w𝓰riting, REPO doesn’t have a matchmaking feature. This means you can’t join a random player’s game and they can’t join yours - only direct invites sent to your Steam friends will work. As REPO is still in early access, it’s possible that online matchmaking will be added at a later stage, but for now, you must either play with Steam friends or use the single-player option.

How to play REPO with friends

The multiplayer lobby in horror game REPO.

You can host a game and invite your friends to play REPO, but keep in mind that the player with the best PC and internet connection should ideally be the host. If you are the best candidate, choose ‘host game’ in the main menu, then pick a saved game from a previous session or choose ‘new game’ to start afresh💟. Here’s a step-by-step overview:

 1. Click ‘host game’.
 2. In the pop-up, choose ‘yes’.
 3. Click ‘new game’ (unless you already have a saved game you’d like to use).
 4. In the next pop-up, pick ‘yes’ again.
 5. Click the ‘invite’ button. This will trigger Steam’s ‘Friends’ menu overlay.
 6. In the overlay, right-click on the friends you wish to invite.
 7. You will see a smaller pop-up menu with the R.E.P.O. game listed about halfway down. Choose ‘invite to game’ to allow your friend to join.
 8. Optional: while in the lobby, you and your friends can choose ‘change color’ to change your character’s appearance and make it easier to tell each other apart.
 9. When everyone’s ready, select ‘start game’ to begin.

If you are not the ho🙈st, you simply need to join a friend’s game. Open REPO and select ‘join game’ in the main menu, which will automatically open Steam’s ‘friends’ menu. Select the friend who’s hosting the game and choose ‘join g🐼ame’. Alternatively, you can ask the host to follow the steps as described above and send you an invite, then accept the invite in Steam.

With that, you should be ready to dive in and avoid all the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO monsters as best as you can to survive. And in case you're wondering about 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:REPO on PS5 or Xbox while it's still in PC early access, it's not exactly clear what could happen.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Among Us 3D demo has done so well during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Next Fest that it's being left up "a lil longer," so grab 𝔍it while it's hot.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Among Us shot to fame during the p𝕴andemic. There was no better way to spend your time indoors than accusing your friends of murder a💙nd sabotage in a heightened state of paranoia. You can play the standard 2D version on just about everything, but the 3D iteration was locked to VR headsets, until now.

Among Us 3D is just like regular Among Us, only now all the beans and maps are three dimensional. It adds a new layer of depth to the game because with no top-down view of the map you can get lost in the hallways far more easily. Even if you see an imposter kill someone, they can slip away into the shadows and you could get lo♊st while trying to start an emergency meeting.

You also can't really look behind you anymore without actually turning around. It won't be enough to just be in the same room as someone to keep an ey꧒e on them, you'll need to have your bean's head on a swivel to catch imposters in the act.

Even though the Among Us hype has died down from its absurd 2020 levels where politician 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:AOC was playing with some of the most-popular streamers in the world, the 3D version has been so novel that it became "one of💞 the top Steam Next Fest demos."

There's still no word on the game's Steam page 🤡about when it will release fully, all we know is it's sometime later this year, so I'd advise you to grab the demo if you want a chance at playing it. You can get it from Steam, . It only requires an Nvidia GTX 1060 or an equivalent graphics card to play, and that's almost ten years old, so your machine should run it just fine.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Among Us became a viral, global sensation when we we༒re all trapped indoors an🌃d could only interact with our friends by invading their spaceships disguised as traitorous alien beanheads. The deduction sim is now popping off again thanks to a not-so-new 3D version.

Developer Innersloth announced Among Us 3D just last month, bringing the paranoid joys of regular Among Us to a first-person setting wit💞h three-dimensional beans. If you look extra close, though, you might deduce that Among Us 3D is actually just a rebranded Among Us VR that's bringing the game to a much wider flat screen audience.

Among Us 3D will still be compatible with Among Us VR (but not base Among Us, for obvious reasons), and is the party game you know and love. "Grab your crew of 4-10 players and launch into a fully 3D version of the hit multiplay𓃲er game," the blurb reads. "Work together as Crewmates to complete tasks before one or more Impostors kill everyone aboard." Among Us 3D has native proximity chat, new and returning minigames with updated first-person controls, and customizable beansonas.

And, to no one's surprise, its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Next Fest teaser is making it a 🌜sensation once again. Among Us 3D is currently the in Valve's demo extravaganza based on daily players, behind only the monstrously popular MechaBreak.

The demo version is already massive, without even showing everything Innersloth has hiding up its deceptive sleeve. Among Us 3D's demo "does not include all features or game modes that will be available at launch, such as crossplay... or additional cosmetics." So, who kn💟ows? Maybe the final product will be an even bigger deal.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction, the new game from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:It Takes Two studio Hazelight, had a new trailer shown during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play last night, and director Josef Fares has some choice words to say about othe🏅r companies choosing not to do co-op.

"Other publishers aren't doing this, and it's crazy to me," says Fares in an interview with GamesRadar. "So many people are playing these games, and people love 🥂them. I mean, I'm looking at Ubisoft, and they're struggling now, and I hope someone [from there] li♛stens to this interview, but why aren't they taking Sam Fisher and doing a split-screen-only game?"

Sam Fisher is the protagonist of Splinter Cell, Ubisoft's stealth series that hasn't had a new entry in over a decade. Doing co-or🔥dinated double take𓄧downs and trying to sneak through levels with a friend would be a blast.

"Don't chicken out to do single-player; just say this is split-screen only," Fares says. "Boom, that's it. You have success, and I can guarantee you that they will sell a huge amount of copies of that. Yeah, they don't even have to do it the Hazelight way; why don't they listen to this🀅 [interview] and be like, 'Oh, he's right.' Th💞at's a guaranteed success for them; it's for you, Ubisoft. You can get it for free from me."

All of Fares' games have been co-op: Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, A Way Out, It Takes 🦄Two, and now Split Fiction. Split-screen games felt much more common during the PS3 era. I remember playing Resistance: Fall of Man with my 🙈best friend at the time before tackling Army of Two and its sequel together. I'd love more co-op games like that.

I'm currently replaying It Takes Two with my girlfriend (after beating it with my best friend when it came out back in 2021) and I hope we finish it by the time Split Fiction comes out in March. I love sci-fi and she prefers fantasy, so it's a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:highly anticipated game for us.

One brave UK seller even lists their eBay "buy it now" price for £400, or nearly $500. Since pꦺlayers will only have limited time to play Nightreign during its network test, that come🧸s out to, oh, just $170 an hour. Though, it's worth noting that $500 is undoubtedly more expensive than the full co-op adventure will be when it releases at some point this year. It might be more worthwhile to put your money into buying fifteen times.

Let's be real: scalping is the bane of gaming and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:relatively niche hobbies like it (there's a Monster High doll I really want, but it's $600 on eBay). It's an annoying, unfair, waste of everyone's day. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> As expensive Killzone skins whip the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Helldivers 2 community into a tizzy, Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani is doing damage control on Discord, admitt🔜ing the pricing missed the market and pledging vague changes.

In case you missed it, Helldivers 2 is doing its first big crossov💯er with a bunch of cosmetics inspired by Killzone, specifically the villainous Helghast faction ♛with their 🍨distinctive helmets and weaponry.

So that's the good news, but the bad news is that the cosmetics are on the pricier side. The skins are up𒆙 for purchase in a new tier of premium co🔥ntent on the Superstore reserved for crossovers like this one as well as other "uniquely-themed work." Basically, Arrowhead's first crossover is keeping in trend with other live-service collaborations in pricing them markedly higher than other, standard cosmetics.

Specifically, the full 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Helldivers 2 Killzone crossover bundle includes the StA-52♛ Assault Rifle, AC-1 Dutiful Helmet, AC-1 Dutiful Armor, Strength In Our Arms Cape, Strength in Our Arms Player Card, and Assault Infantryﷺ Title for 1,975 Super Credits, which is just under $20 and half the price of the full game. The assault rifle itself costs 615 credits, so right around $6 or $7. You probably won't be surprised to hear players are pretty peeved about the prices, so much so that it got Jorjani's attention.

"Hey - quick comment on the Helghast stuff," Jorjani said as his first comment in a conversation that continued on and off almost all of Wednesday on the official Helldivers discord.
"Firstly - this is our first collaboration so we'll be figuring it out as we go along. Let us know what you'd like to see in the future. Secondly it's optional - the more of this 🍸we sell - the more illuminate type stuff we can keep dropping for free."

Th𓃲e CEO took a fair bit of heat for that comment, but things steadily improved as he clarified his stance in later comments. Jorjani confirmed that "100% of the studio" was aware of the backlash to the crossover pricing and that the issue was discussed at the company's monthly townhall on Wednesday.

Jorjani said he could🌟n't share any specifics, but assured🌟 Arrowhead is "looking at data (how well is it selling), is it being used, and comments here and in social media to get a sense of what the gripes (we get a lot of different feedback)" so that it can "asses what change would get what impact for future stuff."

"Clearly we'd love to find the sweet spot of people loving the content AND the price and buy 🌱the bajeesus out of it," he said. "This clearly didn't hit tha🌱t mark."

It's very unlikely that any of this will lead to any changes in the current crossover, which ends on December 23 before transitioning into part two with a new selection of cosmetics as well as a secret reward thaಞt'll be based on player success in the Galactic War. That said, it does s💞ound like Jorjani is taking the feedback to heart.

"My man, running a game like this is hard. We've never managed or run a big live service game before," he said in a reply to another player. "The last release Arrowhead had was in 2015 and the studio was much smaller. We're doing our best. Sometimes we fumble. I think we've shown that we will persevere and improve things in due course. I understand you'd like us to🔜 never fumble - but I can't promise you we'll hit our mark every time𝔉."

In a year of brutal layoffs and closures, Helldivers 2 gave its studio the "financial stability to keep going" and "keep making the games that we want".

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Split Fiction is the newest game from Hazelight Studios, t💙he minds behind the revolutionary co-op title It Takes Two. That's right, after making the go-to game for couples and best friends alike, the studio returns to give us another two-player masterpiece in 2025 - t🀅his time giving us a less cartoony world in favor of a sci-fi and fantasy blend of highly rendered splendor.

Playing as two writers (one specializing in sci-fi and the other in fantasy), you must work together and try to escape a simulation that has trapped you both in each other's stories. The good news is that the Split Fiction release date came our way on March 6, 2025, and it's now available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This big news, along with a fancy trailer that looks absolutely stunning, came our way during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Game Awards 2024.

Split Fiction is available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA App) as of March 6, 2025. Like with It Takes Two, there is also a "friends pass" available. This means that only one of you will need to buy the game in order to play tog💯ether online.

The great news is that Split Fiction's friends pass also has cross-play between PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam - something It Takes Two didn't offer. So, if one of you is a console player and the other is a PC person, you'll both be able to us💦e your platform of choice!

While there's no news on a Nintendo Switch releas❀e just yet, It Takes Two came to the Switch a year after its initial launch - 𓂃so there's always the possibility that we'll see the game head there as well in the future. Stay tuned for details!

Split Fiction trailer

Split Fiction story

Mio and Zoe waking up in a simulation during Split Fiction.

Split Fiction follows two writers, Mio and Zoe. Mio writes sci-fi while Zoe writes fantasy. The two are complete strangers to one another but soon fate brings them together after they get stuck in a simulation. What is this simulation you ask? Well, Split Fiction ki🐭cks off after the two amateur writers team up with a tech company that has pitched the idea to use their stories in their new product that can simulate worlds to readers.

However, during the initial process, an accident happens, resulting in the two ꧙authors being sucked into the system. They will have to work together to escape the simulation that is now throwing them to and from each other's stories - one a sci-fi world, theꦍ other a high fantasy outing complete with dragons and giants.

Split Fiction gameplay details

A screenshot of gameplay during the new game Split Fiction.

Split Fiction is a co-op game that is fully designed to be experienced with two players. By that, we mean it isn't competitive, and🌠 player two isn't just a helpful ghost as you progress through the story - they are an equal partner ♋and just as important to finishing the game.

Like It Takes Two, Split Fiction is a linear action-adventure game with strong platforming elements at its core. We also anticipated that, like its predecessor, we'll see some mini-games pop up during levels. However, what we do know is that it has all the makings to be one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best adventure games of 2025.

During the Game Awards, the trailer for Split Fiction promised a "unique mechanic for every lev🔯el." This is similar to It Takes Two, which also featured world-spec🐻ific mechanics. However, instead of shooting flaming goo at wasps like we did in It Takes Two, in Split Fiction, you'll get to experience genre-specific gameplay that fits perfectly into the game's sci-fi and fantasy themes.

From the trailer we know that there will be a level that involves raising dragons, eventually using them to fly and navigate platforming. We also saw magnetized balls in the sci-fi levels that allow you to roll across walls and morph as you do some more platforming. There will be boss fights, shooting mechanics, and, best of all, a level ꦅwhere you play as pigs (the dream).

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> This year has been a strong reminder of just how popular co-op games can be, with games like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Helldivers 2 and Palworld ta🐼king🐓 up a large share of the conversation. With the looming release of Monster Hunter Wilds on the horizon, it's an exciting time for folks who like to game with friends.

Last year during The Game Awards, 10 Chambers - the developers of GTFO, and a team of veterans from Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 announced Den of Wolves, a new "sci-fi" take on the co-op heist genre. During 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Game Awards 2024, we finally got a taste of what exactly the game mi🍷ght look like in motion; and prior to the new trailer reveal we were briefed about the game's world and premise.

What I wasn'൩t expecting were the heavy Cyberpunk 2077 vibes throughout the trailer, which are always appreciated.

Set at the end of the 21st century during Late-Stage Capitalism, AI has ravaged the world, leading to a new global hub of communication and technology. The Midway Atoll, stationed in an isolated location in the Pacific Ocean, is where corporations are free to do as they please - including hiring groups for "unauthorized errands" like you and your friends. Corporate espionage, theft, assassinations, and everything in-between. Notably during the t🐲railer, we got a taste of exactly what the game's sci-fi flair might be bringing to the table. Unique gadgets, gravity-defying stunts, and more.

We still don't have a release date for Den ಌof Wolves, but the team plans to launch the game for Early Access on Steam in the future, with a potential console release in thꦆe cards for a later date.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games you can play right now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> Overcooked and Overcooked 2 are some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games around - whether you're looking to bond with your kids or scream at your friends like Gordon Ramsey's watching - and the series&ౠapos; developer is sticking to the gen🌄re with its next game marinated in Luigi's Mansion vibes.

Stage Fright was just announced at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Game Awards 2024 andಌ continues developer Ghost Town Games' co-op fixation - and who can blame 'em after their tense cooking series courted more than 50 million players? Playable online or locally, two players seem to be entering and then escaping from a series of spooky levels in Stage Fright, though I find it inter✅esting that they seem to be physically not even in the same space in the CG trailer below.

Ghost Town say there are expectedly "chao𝔍tic moments mixed with escape room-style cooperation," but in the same way that "nothing really played like Overcooked when it came out," Stage Fright will also be a little hard to define until we get our hands o🍬n it.

Th𒉰e other difference here is, of course, the setting. Stage Fright exchanges the kitchens (and kitchens-in-space and kitchens-in-an-active-volcano) for a "Luigi's Mansion meets Overcooked" vibe. The developers are gunning for something "much more touching, with a real heart" this time around, so maybe there's more of a narrative pull here too.

Hello Games of No Man's Sky fame are taking over the publishing reigns as well, mainly because the two studios are alr𓂃eady friends. "We have such fond memories of the four founders of Hello playing that Overcooked demo, screaming at each other about onions - it was instantly obvious this was something special," a press release explains. "When we played an early version of Stage Fright we got the same buzz as we had with Overcooked all those years ago, it’s just something we wanted to be involved in."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]>

It Takes Two developer Hazelight Studios has revea♌led its next game, anꩵd it look just as wild as you'd expect from the mind of Josef Fares.

Fares took the stage at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Game Awards 2024 to fully unveil 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Split Fiction, a new co-op game that looks like itꦦ could be something of a spiritual successor to It Takes Two. In the reveal trailer, we see dual protagonists Mio and Zoe zip and leap ar🤡ound platforms together in It Takes Two platforming fashion.

It's worth noting that the visual style and narrative in Split Fiction couldn't be more ꦬwildly different to It Takes Two, with the former sporting a mo🔴re realistic presentation, but the gameplay looks like it's been partly carried over. The split-screen co-op game puts its two protagonists through fast-paced, intense platforming levels and each stage features its own unique mechanic.

The story sees Mio and Zoe trapped in a simulation and desperately trying to escape, which, not to beat a dead horse, does have some parallels with the story of It Takes Two, which is about a struggling married 𝓰couple turned into living toy dolls and sp🍸ending their whole journey trying to get back to their normal bodies. That game won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2021 and became a big seller for Hazelight, so there's a lot of hype around Split Fiction.

Adding to that hype somewhat, Fares announced on-stage that the game will have "no loot boxes, no microt꧒ransactions, n🎀o bulls**t" to thunderous applause.

Split Fiction is due out on March 6, 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Switch. Just like It Takes Two, you'll only𒁏 n✤eed one copy for both players to play.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games to play today.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Co-op ]]> You know how it's hard to buy a gift for a girl who has everything? 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outlast Trials just got a fat winter update that adds an unexpected element to the demented co-op game that already includes a human flesh grinder✨, a sociopathic cop, and a guy whose skull looks like a meatball exploded in the microwave: ꦦhope.

" marks a new beginning for The Outlast Trials," a press release says, "as one of the Murkoff Corporation’s captives, Amelia Collier, begins 🍸to fight back."💙

Collier is different from every other non-playable character The Outlast Tr🦂ials has included since developer Red Barrels released the online multiplayer in 2023. Unlike its villains — whose faces are stretched with cracked skin, and whose souls are as infected as a popped pimple — owl-eyed Amelia wants to fight for her life with wisdom, not a tooth gun. But she's biding her time, apparently living inside the Trials' solid cement walls.

Which brings us back to the tooth gun. Project Breach gives༺ Franco, the piggish mobster baby Red Barrels introduced earlier this year, a greasy neไw map and level for him to fire his favorite tooth-filled shotgun shells.

According to in-game text, the insidious researcher♋s behind The Outlast Trials want to distract from Amelia's careful revolution by "exploring the psychosexual effects Franco has had on [player characters] by releasing him into a new story trial, 'Pleasure the Prosecutor.'" In this trial, which is set on the sleazy Downtown map, you'll have to watch as a team of mannequins give a guy a murd🐈er blowjob with their chainsaw mouths. Awesome.

Wash the taste of that scene down with a new player ability called the Jammer Rig, which strategically d🌞isables electronics. Fight brawn with, uh, brain, 🧸I guess.

The Outlast Trials "invites you to experience mind-numbing terror" when it launches in early access in May.
