One such player is known online as "star0chris," and his most recent feat involves taking on all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign bosses solo… without using any skills or weapons. That's right; as if it wasn't impressive enough to, as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:director Junya Ishizaki did himself, complete a run entirely on your own, people are now doing so using only their Nightfarers' bare fists and no other buffs – in true FromSoftware fanﷺ fashion.

"I beat all of the Nightlords in Nightreign (including the expeditions) with bare fists only to deal damage (no skills or anything)," write🍬s star0chris in his highlighting his run. "This was a lot of fun and a great way to learn all the bosses," he concludes. "I'm glad fists aren't as bad as they are in normal Elden Ring lol."

If there's any༺ silver lining here, it's that, yes, your fists are stronger in Nightreign thanks to the game's updated balancing. But punches are still quite weak compared to, you know, weapons.

Amazingly enough, star0chris isn't the only person,ಞ or seemingly the first, to have managed such a run,.

As a fellow fan points out in the comments, "skumnut," notorious "Elden Ring sicko" and YouTuber, has just managed to do the same. 🐽In his own , skumnut shows a video of his bare-fist run and says he completed it in under 30 hours: "I beat ALL eight expeditions and Nightlords in Elden Ring Nightreign using only my BARE FISTS. World's first all Nightlord bosses bare fist only full run in less than 30 hours. Thank Gwyn, I'm free."

It's nothing new for the Elden Ring community – after all, the original game has seen the famous 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:no-hit saxophone player using a real-life instrument, the fan who completed a 澳洲幸运5♛开奖号码历史查询:no-hit run at uncapped New Game+1,000, and the real-life Psychonaut beating the game w🎐ith only her mind. Nightreign devotees are 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查𒊎询:already pulling off no-hit playthroꦜughs, too.

It's still amazing, nonetheless. As our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review puts it, "reaching any of the Nightlords is difficult, and beating any of them is even tougher" even with weapons.

Here are some of the other most exciting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games this year and beyond to keep an eye on.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada has been dropping mad amounts of Tekken lore on Twitter, including more details🧸 about Tekken 8's mysterious newcomer Reina.

Tekken's lore is a magical thing, the 30-plus year saga of guys throwing their sons off cliffs, the sons then throwing their da🀅ds into volcanoes, the dads retaliating by sending his son, grandson, and father into space strapped to a r♚ocket – you get the gist. But the fighting game genre has never been the most effective at telling stories, so a lot of the Tekken lore is found outside of the core gameplay, such as on series producer Katsuhiro Harada's Twitter account.

Over the last few days Harada has been sharing stories about the Tekken lore on Twitter, answering🌃 fan questions about a variety of the series' characters. Some of these tales have explained just small details in Tekken history, such as the Tekken team's failed plans to du🉐ring the Armor King trailer, or the fact that and aren't those characters' real names.

However, Harada shares is a big one. It has to do with Heihachi Mishima (who 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Harada💛 established as having 25 k🌠ids back in 2011), aꦺnd why the dude has an ar♎my of Mishima children primed to be thrown off a cliff.

Heihachi originally threw Kazuya off a cliff to🌺 test whether he had inherited his mother's Devil Gene, s🤪ince, due to the Mishima clan's history of slaying demons, Heihachi .

"Heihachi has fathered numerous biological children in an effort to prove his hypothesis that the Devil Gene does not originate from the Mishima bloodline. In addition to t𓆏his, he has pursued every possible avenue of genetic research," says Harada.

Harada then explains that Lars' mother was a researcher who was working alongside the Tekken Force, which is why Lars has no demonic abilities. But then there's Reina – the latest of Heihachi's kids to appear – whose mother is someone Heihachi had identified as having the Devil Gene, which comes to light at the end of Tekken 8's story mode. However, despite not being raised by Heihachi or her mother, "in the Mishima bloodline’s long history of inte𝔉rgenerational conflict, Reina and Heihachi are – at least for now – the only parent-child pair to have a genuinely positive relationship."

"I didn’t have a single ally": Tekken 4's negative reception put series boss Katsuhiro Harada under so much stress that he left Namco for a year.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> A few weeks have passed since 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Bandai Namco and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:FromSoftware released their multiplayer roguelike spin on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring, the long-awaited 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nightreign – and some sickos are alreadꩲy managing to beat the entire game solo… while taking ⛦zero hits.

That's right – as if it wasn't impressive enough that, as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:di꧑rector Junya Ishizaki stated himself, it's "very possible" to complete a full run and defeat all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign bosses alone, people are now actually doing it without taking any damage either. Content creator "LilAggy" proves as much in his own run, just yesterday. "I NO HIT AN ꦡENTIRE NIGHTREIGN EXPEDITION," he writes.

"ZERO HITS (& ZERO DAMAGE – NO♏T EVEN A SINGLE STORM TICK) FROM T𓄧HE START OF DAY 1 ALL THE WAY TO DOWNING LIBRA," concludes LilAggy. For those unfamiliar, "Libra" is the final boss and Nightlord in the "Equilibrious Beast" expedition. It's absolutely a wildly difficult accomplishment, and what's more, it's not even the only one to date – others have successfully pulled off zero hit runs, too.

YouTuber "eauvni" posted his own yesterday, showing him tackling a "world's first" no-hit run as Ironeye, one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign Nightfarers. Unsurprisin✨gly, fellow fans of the multiplayer spin-off are taking to the clip's comments to share their awe – awe that I feel myself watching eauvni play. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign community is completely 🐬divided on how good The Guardian is. Depending on who you ask, he's either the absolute bottom of the barrel or sits comfortably in the top three.

The Guardian is the bird-headed tank class in Nightreign. I think the discourse surrounding his usefulness ultimately comes down to without getting the urge to run in and start whacking things. As one player puts it, "Gꦫuardian is the best character when used in the right hands."

Another redditor , "If I waste my stamina attacking, I wo꧒n't have enough left to block anything." This is an archetype that requires patience and teamwork. With the right relics, you can use The Guardian to aggro enemies and simply block all the𒀰ir attacks while your teammates go to town on them. "Big bird doesn’t get the respect he deserves," another.

If your friends die, The Guardian's ultimate will send them flying into the sky before they crash back down, dealing area of effect damage to foes🤪 and simultaneously reviving 🐎your team. It's the kind of ability you don't think about until you really need it, then you'll wish you had it on your side.

All that being said, no one wants to rely on their teammates sucking for their own characte♌r to be useful. And you could argue that it's better to simply deal more damage to bosses than it is to distract them, so I can see why the community is so split on this.

One player likes to use two-handed 🔜thanks to the strength bonus and its scaling. They claim it makes it better than any halberd, The Guardi🐬an's weapon of choice, so maybe give that a go if you're struggling to get utility out of the character.

People are 澳洲幸运5开奖号𓂃码历史查询:beating the game using just b🐭are fists, though, so clearly The Guardian has to be at🍷 leas▨t somewhat good.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> I can't quite wrap my head around Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, the first roguelike publisher Bandai Namco is releasing in its decades of existence, and a mostly satisfying 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest demo that otherwise made me wonder, what's the point?

To Towa developer Brownie, whose game director Shuhei Yamashita – along with Bandai producer Daisuke Nagaoka – spoke to me through a translator, the point is that Towa is "unlike any♊ roguelike." But the undeniable fact is that Towa is actually a lot like Hades.

"We are very inspired by Hades," the developers explained, ꦉ"we have a great respect for [it], especially its action scenes. We use it as sort of a reference for [Towa], but Towa is noℱt just [Hades]. We use it as a base, and we have added these values."

Most obvious, to me, is the pleasant, by-the-fire sense of togetherness Towa instills in you by being a game about companionship. You get to choose your lead tsurugi ("sword" in Japanese) and support kagura (which refers to a mystical staff) from a charming team of eight heroes sworn to serve the p✅rie🔯stess Towa.

But, during my 30 minutes with Towa's demo, I wasn't as interested in the politics of the game's main campsite Shinju Village – despite it being heavy with red flowers, and evocatively stained with watercolor – than I was enamored with how good combat felt.

I'd decided to tap the "Virtuous Seeker" Nishiki, a sinewy Koi fish whose profile suggests he is a cannibalistic seafood eater, to be my tsurugi and the mean-looking girl with bangs, Rekka, to be my kagura;🗹 I'm a💮 woman constantly in search of a Beauty and the Beast dynamic, what can I say.

It worked out. The two had synergy. As I swapped between the two blade masters' swords each time one's power was depleted by performing hits, I started feeling safe in the fact that I was not alone. When one soldier became exhausted, I took comfort in knowing there was another to the♕ side of her, ready to helꦜp.

Entering Towa's overgrown, monster-infested world as a duo instead of as one, vulnerable champion made for a strong sense of flow during battle; instead of constantly checking my health status with typical roguelike paranoia, I simply made sure to swap between my characters' weapons as often as if we were trading dance steps. To the game's credit, while its controls are more elaborate than the straightforward attacks in Hades, the flow Towa forces you into is conducive to ridiculous combos, which I was able to achieve with only a few minutes of experience. Also, the fish gu♒y kept rolling around like a boulder made of meat, which was awesome.

"One thing [about Towa] is that [we wanted to create] charactersꦍ that have completely different silhouettes, so each individual character features a different silhouette," says the game's developers. "That was more of a purpose [behind their designs] than a mythology."

So, I love that there's 🙈big guys and mean little ladies🦹 – as one myself – and I like how Towa feels like soda-popping through combat in a flashy game like Final Fantasy 16, but I can't get past the seriously explicit Hades references.

Greek tragedy

Every time I started enjoying the par💫ticulars of Towa's world, I was confronted by Boons (called Grace in Towa), gates advertising the next level's prizes, and stations with replenishing waters – all important elements of Hades' combat loop and map layout. In Hades, these things have monumental meaning for the game's take on Greek mythology.

But, in the Towa demo I played, which didn't elaborate much on the game's story, these elements felt like they formed a scrapbook of what roguelikes its developers actually enjoy – they hadn't been diversified enough to distinguish from their source material. Each time I noticed them, I felt a little tug at the back of my head reminding me that I could be playing Hades – a game I already love and know well – instead. Since Towa and theไ Guardians of the Sacred Tree offers so much to enjoy in its duo combat, I don't understand why the game allows itself to be overshadowed by its inspiration like this.

Towa will be out September 19 on PlayStꦜation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Flanked by The Duskbloods and The Blood of Dawnwalker, Code Vein 2 swoops into the vampire game renaissance by "improving" the lovably janky Soulslike RPG we got 6 years ago.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> As I watch a stuttering gameplay demo for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Code Vein 2 during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, all I can think about is how pretty it looks – when it's behaving. But this is the way of the Code Vein franchise: the original game from 2019 was awkward to control, ꧋though as atmospheric as 2AM, but its sequel's prod🍒ucer tells me Code Vein 2 wants to be better.

"In terms of why it was important to make Code Vein 2," producer Keita Iizuka says through an interpreter when I ask him,ꦫ "I think [...] that core [Soulslike] gameplay – retaining it and improving on it for the players for the players was important to me."

"I think the Soulslike, challenging battles [...] and the dramatic storytelling with the exploration is something that resonates really well with players," Iizuka continues. "Likewise, from the gameplay mechanics side, the idea of having a partner with you during all this exploration" – Code Vein features several companion characters – "I 𓃲think is very emotionally rewarding.

"Those elements – we w💜anted to bring them into Code Vein 2, and then evolve them."

That's why Iizuka considers Code Vein 2 a standalone game. While the RPG's gothic and electronic, supernatural and futuristic environment😼 iden💃tify it as part of the Code Vein family tree, and its story about hunting monster Revenants adopts some of the first game's mythology, Code Vein 2 is ultimately "completely different," Iizuka says.

"The w🧸orld is completely different," he explains. "The characters are all different. So the story, o🍰f course, is going to be different."

But, most importantly for me – someone who's unable to deny any vampire's demonic, cherry-stained beauty – Code Vein 2 is a vampire game in an expanding galaxy of vampire games, if FromSoftware's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Duskbloods and RPG 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Blood of Dawnwalker are any indication. With its combat system propelled by your ability to drain enemies' blood, Iizuka🍎 muses that "there's something that really attracts us to this [...] motif for characters and storytelling."

Vampires are "extremely powerful and very strong," he continues, "yet they [have] very clear weaknesses that I think everyone kind of universally understands." Just like any of us fallible humans, "theꦑy're not invincible."

Ex Witcher 3 devs reveal first gameplay trailer for vampire RPG Blood of Dawnwalker, complete with decapitations and a 2026 release window.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> When you're playing a roguelite, the best thing you can hope for is consistency. One 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign player has found it, but are you wi🐬lling to put up with hearing a bell jingle hundreds of times a run?

Vtuber Syrobe posts a video to YouTube (spotted by our friends over at ) that shows not only the Wraith Calling Bell in action, soloing the Night Aspect final boss, but also an easy movement tech you can learn to ensure you don't get a movement penalty👍 for casting the magic item.

If you surge sprint, slide, and hold your block button while you slide, you can then cast while running. Syrobe says this stop𓄧s the movement penalty you'd normally get when casting spells or using magical items, and it works with the bell as well. The only issue is it absolutely burns through your stamina, so the Vtuber reckons it'll be better in trios than solo runs.

The bell itself is simple to find; just search graveyards and you're almost guaranteed to get one early in your run. This consistency is what makes it so good. It's a solid magic weapon, not the best by any means, but🍰 since you can always craft your build around it, you'll have more chance of winning if you get good with it.

It fires a slow-moving magical bubble at whatever enemy you're locked on to and tracks them for a considerable time. It's got a low-cost to use as𒅌 well, mea💎ning you can completely surround even nimble foes with it, making it incredibly simple to use.

It's been considerably buffed since its appearance in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring🐷, so make sure you give it and some other weapons you overlooked a go in Nightreign. You may ꦯfind the new OP meta weapon.

The onl꧟y drawback is the bell jingles every single time you use it. Every. Single. Time. By the end of a run you'll hear it in your ears like the constant and familiar drone of tinnitus. PC Gamer counted around 80 ring-a ding dings during the final fight, so it might make you want to make you turn your TV volume off. Happy hunting.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> A new patch has just been released for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign, and while it's not a big one, it does fix a handful of pesky bugs t🀅hat will no lo🐠nger impede your journey.

Y💙ou'll be pleased to know that players who get downed after Wormface's grab attack will now be saveable. There was a bug that made it impossible to rescue them from near death at times, but that shouldn't be an issue anymore.

Libra, Creature of Night, shoul꧃d no longer get stuck in a loop performing the same actions over and over again. This boss previously could get stuck in a loop of "72 consecutive att👍acks" where they'd slam the ground repeatedly. Not fun or fair.

from

Nightreign should also be more stable when fighting Adel, Baron of Night. Their unofficial attack was bricking whatever machine you played on and tanking the ❀frame rate, making their at﷽tacks harder to dodge. Well, no more.

There are also some weapon bug fixes. Now, the ಌpassive effect that adds magic, lightning, or holy damage to bows will only impact those attributes, rather than also making physical attack higher. So, this actually makes bows harder to use.

Some w🌄eapons' non-direct skill attacks used to inflict attribute attack power and status ailment of the armament, but no longer. And, weapons that have the passive effect that causes proje💜ctile damage drop-off to be reduced should appear in loot pools for chests and slain enemies – they didn't before.

Despite there being some bugs and issues in Nightreign, players have still been able to beat some impressive challenges. One became the "澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:world's first" to solo all eight main bosses without dying.

It's a tough feat, even when you take into account Nightreign's director has soloed every boss "澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:without relics" justꦏ to prove that even though the game is difficult, it's doable.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> During today's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 showcase, Bandai Namco lifted the veil on its upcoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Code Vein sequel and its release date – which isn't all that far off.

The surprise announcement came in the form of a stunning featuring the iconic anime-esque style of the original action RPG, showcasing both its gorgeous visuals with cinematic moments as well as its actual gameplay. Bandai Namco's new trailer doesn't just show off the Code Vein sequel, however – it also reveals the game's release window, which is apparently set for sometime next year in 2026.

That doesn't leave too long between now and the Code Vein 2 launch, which will fall around seven years or so after the original game's own 2019 release. According to the developer, fans of the OG gem don't have to ღworry about missing out on the new title, either, as it's coming to virtually all platforms aside from the Nintendo Switch 2: Steam on ꧟PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

While the trailer doesn't detail much of the story in Code Vein 2, the description from Bandai Namco does provide fans with a glimpse of what might come. "If time were a weapon to wield," read the developer's words, "could you undo the sins of ruin? Bound By Blood, Revenants gather once more." Revenants, meaning the same vampire-like immortals brought back from death from the first Code Vein.

Comments so far see fans speculating about the potential setting and story, with one admitting they "wonder how it'll tie into Code Vein 1 and God Eater," Bandai Namco's other beloved action RPG series. Another player guesses the sequel will take place "after♛ the true ending of Code Vein." There's no telling for sure unil the game releases, but there's thankfully not too long left to wait before 2026.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Like a prize fighter, Elden Ring Nightreign seems to be making a fantastic comeback – its Mixed Steam reviews have started crawling back to a 75% Mostly Positive rating after 🎃developer FromSoftware began rolling out useful patches this week.

Before Nightreign even came out, FromSoftware seemed to have been worried about what players would think about the co-op roguelike – it isn't quite like anything else the 39-year-old developer has released up until now. Producer Yasuhiro Kitao even went out of his way to thank players for "bravely" p⭕icking up Nightreign, despite the fact that it "has ♒some peculiar aspects to its game design and is different from our recent titles in various ways."

So patch 1.01 self-consciously issued some vague balance changes and bug fixes ahead of Nightreign's release, and, more recently, patch 1.01.1 made it so heroes going solo could revive up to three times per night-ti🐈me boss battle run.

This took care of people on Steam grumbling about Nightreign's single-player difficulty (though, it's not like that stopped determined Nightfarers from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:completing the game alone), and FromSoftware also now promises duo support to those who are, instead, f♛eeling lonely all by themselves.

"We will continue to provide post-launch support, including DLC scheduled for later this year, as well as adding a two-player mode," FromSoftware 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:explained on Twitter. Originally, director 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Junya Ishizaki told IGN that duos were "si💦mply something that was overlooked during development [...]𒁏, so we're very sorry about that."

Now that FromSo🗹ftware has plans to rectify the situation, everyone🐭 must be happy, right? Everyone's getting their needs met?

"Hardest boss in the game ♒is called 'Friendless, The Loner Pl♑ayer,'" says with over 1,300 "helpful" ratings as of writing. I'm not sure FromSoftware can help with that.

Elden Ring Nightreign director has soloed every boss "without relics," and he wants fans "to know that this is very possible" despite concerns over difficulty.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> With 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:3.5 million sales already behind it, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign was bound to get broken by its small country of players at some point – though, FromSoftware streamer 🌳Peeve proves one ambitious sorcerer is enough to get the job done, if they stack their perks correctly.

"Actually had a busted run in Nightreign earlier today," Peeve writes in a June 2 . "I stacked four separate 'cast while wꦏalking' perks at the same time, and it got genuinely stupid lol." In the accompanying clip, Peeve's character – Executor, a class based on parrying, so his blocking stance forces him into a slow walk – saunters with his katana out. Rainbow magic splats around him like sloppy joe mix.

In a longer YouTube video showing off this "insane slow walk build," as Peeve describes it, the streamer equips his level 11 character with what looks like passive "while walking" flame of frenzy, glint storms, create wraiths, and red lightning buffs. As Peeve's Executౠor trudges forward in his defensive position, these powers pulse across the screen in flashes of nevඣer-ending light.

"Vampire Survivors build," Peeve declares, which was also the first thing I thought when I first saw their gameplay clip on Twitter. Like poncle's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:bullet heaven game – in which you can use anything𒁃 from a barrage of throwing knives to the vanquishing stink of garlic to keep beasts at bay – Peeve's "while w𒊎alking" build is goofy, flashy, and overwhelmingly cool.

"This is the first [time] I've seen something this fucking stupid happen," Peeve says. But, with 3,499,999 other Nightreꦬign players in the queue, it probably won't be the last.

Elden Ring Nightreign director says asset reuse is contentious, but FromSoft doesn't consider it a "one-to-one copy-paste" - it's just "an efficient way to build these games."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> A few days have passed since 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Bandai Namco and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:FromSoftware released their roguelike spin on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring, the long-awaited 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign – and despite concerns over its difficulty in solo play,🐻 director Junya Ishizaki says it's "very possible" to take down every boss alone.

How can he be so sure of that, though? He's done it himself.🥃 Speaking to in a recent interview, Ishizaki reveals that he has, in fact, beaten every boss and Nightlord – al🌳one in solo playthroughs as well as alongside others in trio runs.

"Yes," starts the lead. "I can hopefully give you reassurance to know that I have beat🗹en all of the game's bosses. I've seen everything it has to offer, both in multiplayer and aꦛs a solo player."

That's why Ishizaki wants the community to know it's𓄧 not impossible, evꦉen if it seems like it. "I want you and players to know that this is very possible," explains the director, "and I want you to have the confidence to give it a try yourself."

That's not all, however. As if that wasn't enough of a feat in itself, Ishizaki goes on to admit that he's not only beaten all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign bosses alone, but also "without relics."

For context, that means he's managed to take every boss and Nightlord down without using any passive defensive or offensive advantages. That's seriously impressive – after all, our own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review explores why "playing solo is miserable," as difficulty scaling from trios to solo runs often doesn't feel fair. It's not an unpopular take, either, seeing as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:patch 1.01.1 dropped just yesterday 💦with solo play👍through buffs.

One thing is for certain, though – if Ishizaki could pull off solo runs killing every boss and Nightlord in sight, then it's likely that any player could, too. It would probably just take a whole lot of patience and, of course, a good few healing flasks.

Here are some of the other most exciting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games this year and beyond to keep an eye on.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Ahead of the launch of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Bandai Namco has released the Elden Ring꧟ Nightreign 1.01 patch notes (even if the game isn't out yet). While the patch doesn't actually give away too much about the game, outside of vague descriptions like "Balance adjustments" and "Bug fixes," it does feature a harrowing warning for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:FromSoftware fans on PC.

"We have confirmed that some PC configurations using the latest graphics cards may experience frame rate drops." the says, adding "In t♋he meantime, If you experience significant frame rate drops, you may be able to resolve it by setting the graphics settings from the default 'High' to 'Medium' or 'Low' and lowering the screen resolution, as well as installing the latest drivers for your graphics card." The publisher also assures "We are currently investigating the cause."

2025 hasn't been the best year for PC Ports, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Monster Hunter Wilds, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Rise of the Ronin, and all being varying degrees of bad and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Marvel's Spider-Man 2 taking the crown so far this year. Hopefully Nightreign isn't on 𓃲the level of any of those, but Bandai Namco putting a warning out in advance isn't making me the most hop🍸eful.

On the other hand, of the game calls it "A bare-bones console port with glit🌱ches a-plenty," but also notes that the stuttering ꦐissue found in the original Elden Ring PC version is "nowhere near as bad." Plus, lighter PC builds are able to play the game at an acceptable standard, albeit after some tinkering in the settings.

If there's one thing about FromSoftware fans on PC though, they persist. Dark Souls 1's original PC version was played for years, and that was a shockingly bad port with Games for Windows Live integration. So much so that the DSfix mod was practically required if you wanted to play the game on PC until the Remastered edition released in 2018.

We're counting down the hours until launch with our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign release live blog.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> I personally believe that one of the reasons the world is the way it is today is due to the absence of one of the most crucial parts of 2000s culture – the ജAMV. Memories of every single anim♛e series known to man being overlaid with the crunchiest 2000s buttrock tracks still permeate through my mind, and fancams just can't live up to the emotions felt when watching Vegeta go Super Saiyan for the first time to the dulcet tones of Last Resort by Papa Roach.

Clearly, someone at Bandai Namco (who publishes almost every anime game, so they know) feels the same, as in celebration of the launch of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:FromSoftware's new multiplayer title 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign, the publisher has created its own AMV trailer for the new game. The video – – features a big battle between a trio of heroes and Morgott the Omen King sꦰcored with the 2003 classic Bring Me to Life by Evanescence.

As far as AMV's go, it's pretty peak. The battle with Morgott has its stakes heightened by the impeccable son💧g, only for one of our heroes to fall in battle. Which in-turn allows the peak of any trailer in 2025 to happen, as one player revives their fallen teammate just as the "WAKE ME UP" hits in the song. And in that moment, I decided that maybe I am actually interested in getting Elden Ring Nightreign (this is not me trying to be funny, I'm actually ordering it now).

2025 has marked a surprising resurgence of buttrock, with the recent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Devil May Cry anime series on Netflix being packed full of it. The opening credits theme is Limp Bizkit's 2000 magnum opus Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle), the soundtrack also features Last Resort by Papa Roach and Butterfly by Crazy Town (which isn't buttrock, but gets honorary status). It even brought us a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:brand-new song by Evanescence, titled 'Afterlife,' which goes pretty hard. All we need now is Death Stranding 2 to feature a Creed song and the 2000s are officially back.

While you're at it, you should check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring DL꧑C a൩nd Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero helped drive their publisher's profits up by almost 1000% in 2024.

Bandai Namco published its financial results for the past financial year (which ended on March 31) early this morning (via ). Net sales jumped by just under $600 million to $3.16 billion, bu🌊t profit spiked a huge amount - growing 995% to $475 million.

That much growth means that while the 2025 financial year was a successful one, the 2024 year was likely substantiall෴y worse - cancelled projects and the failure of MMO Blue Protocol meant 🌟that there was a big drop in profits last year.

Still, it doesn't take away from the success of Bandai's big-ticket titles. The success of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree should come as little surprise, but I was personally impressed by the selling power of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, which was a top-five best seller in the US last year. Shipping 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:3 million copies in its first day, it became the franchise's fastest-sellingꦗ game ever.

As for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, it shipped 5 million copies in its first week, for an approximate attach rate of 20% - a figure almost unheard of for DLC. By contrast, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077's P🦹hantom Liberty expansion hit a 23% download rate several month after launch, while The Witch📖er 3's beloved Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine expansions boasted 22% and 24% respectively.

Given all that FromSoft success, Bandai Namco is likely licking its lips at the prospect of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring: Nightreign's imminent release, and is probably pretty sad that it's not publishing 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Duskbloods.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Don't expect 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign to feel exactly the 𝓡same as it did during its beta test when it launches for real this month, as game director Junya Ishizaki says that adjustments have been made surrounding the co-op action RPG's difficulty.

In an interview published on the ⭕today, Ishizaki responds to whether any changes have been made to Nightreign following the results of February's network test, and the short answ෴er is yes.

The first change is more to do with how certain bits of information are conveyed, as the director notes that "some players found it difficult to understand what elements were visible on the map and s🎐aid it was hard to identify next steps, or how to use some of the character movesets." Going forward, this should now be "conveyed more clearly to players during gameplay."

In addition, Ishizaki says, FromSoftware "received a lot of helpful feedback regar♛ding the difficulty🌼."

He explains: "We made some adjustments to strike a🌳 balance that makes the game challenging as you progress, but still manageable. Gladius, one of the Nightlords, willᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ also receive some updates, so players have that to look forward to in the final game."

To be clear, Gladius is getting tougher, not weaker, as the blog post notes that buffs are coming to the three-headed wolf boss. So, if you already struggled with him during the network test (he was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:beaten over 58,000 times, which was a lot l🧸ess than all of the other bosses), then, uh, good luck.

Thankfully, there's not long at all to wait now before we can embark on Nightreign, with it set to release across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on May 30. FromSoftware is working on plenty of things worth getting excited about, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Duskbloods – a PvPvE action RPG – on the way as a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 exclusive next year, too.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> A recently deleted tweet suggests 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is coming to the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2.

A Redditor spotted a Tweet from the Saudi general authority of media regulation that gave the unannounced port a 12+ rating, the same rating it had previously received for its PC, PS5, and Xbox versions, suggesting🌠 the game would have been relatively unchanged. 💛That tweet has since been deleted.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero released in October 2024, skipping the Switch entirely, but the Switch 2 looks to be a much more powerful console. It already has confirmed ports for behemoth triple-A games like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring, so🎀 it wouldn't be surprising if it could handle the 3D fighting game.

On Reddit, people seem unsurprised about the pot🐓ential port. One Redditor , "Expected. The Dragon Ball games sell like hotcakes on the Switch." Another , "Most inevitable port in the Bamco catalog besides Elden Ring."

from

A lot of Dragon Ball fans also sharꦕed memories of playing Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3 on the Wii when that console first launched in 2006, so they hope Sparking Zero keeps up the tradition of the series being available at launch for Nintendo consol🍸es.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero did well with critics, earning an 81 on , and it also became the f♎astest-selling Dragon Ball console game in the series' 38-ye🌜ar history, selling over five million copies in just four months. That was back in February 2025, so that figure is likely even higher now, and could 🍷grow more if it does come to the Switch 2.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Over three years since its initial launch, Elden Ring has hit another major sales milestone as FromSoftware confirms it's now passed 30 million sales worldwide. That's a lot of Tarꩲnished, and even more deaths to the likes of Malenia, I'm sure.

Announced in a tweet𓄧 today, the official Elden Ring Twitter account shares that🐲 there are now "30 million Tarnished," and writes: "Dearest Tarnished, we are profoundly thankful for your lasting devotion. May your path be forever guided by the Grace of Gold." The Japanese FromSoftware Twitter account that this figure equates to copies shipped.

It should go without saying that 30 million is a big number, but the milestone feels even more monumental when you compare it to the existing sales figures of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dark Souls trilogy. According to publisher , the series had sold 37 million units outside of Japan as of March 2024, so there's really not an astronomical difference betweenꦦ the entire franchise and Elden Ri𝓰ng as a standalone game.

It's also worth noting that the total number of Dark Souls sales is probably a fair bit higher than 37 million at this point. Not only is the existing data now more than a year out of date, but also, the fine print reveals that the number accounts for the "total for ove𒉰rseas sales for which Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. was the original seller (excluding domestic sales by FromSoftware, Inc.)."

Therefore, it sou𒁃nds like we're missing a significant chunk o♒f data here, even if it seems like Elden Ring has most likely still made massive strides towards meeting this overall total.

Dark Souls comparisons aside, 30 million sales isn't to be sniffed at, and we can expect that figure to keep on climbing, especially since Elden Ring is one of the biggest 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch 2 games. We might be about to see a massive swarm of Nintendo fans who've never set foot in the Lands Between 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:embark on the action RPG later this year.

Assuming that Elden Ring runs well on there, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 is likely to be a very popular platform to pick up a second copy of the♎ game, too, especially for those who don't own a Steam Deck. Who doesn't want to explore Leyndell or get destroyed by Radahn while they're on the go?

5,300 hours into Elden Ring, community hero Let Me Solo Them can beat the final boss almost "with my eyes closed" – and hopes FromSoftware loves her back.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Tekken 8's game director has commented on the ext🐭remely negatively received Seasಌon 2 patch after releasing an emergency patch for the game.

While 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken 8 was pretty beloved at launch, the game's Season 2 update – which was released alongside the new DLC fighter, Anna Williams – has gone down like a lead zeppelin. The patch was intended to encourage more defensive play but ended up making the game even more offensive-focused (for a game that was built around offensive play, that's a bit too much). It resulted in an 'Overwhelmingly Negative' rating on the game's and caused the series' producer, Katsuhiro Harada, to admit that the backlash towards it was warranted.

Now that the emergency patch has arrived in-game, Tekken 8 game director Kohei Ikeda has to apologize for the issue. In the post, Ikeda said, "I would like to offer my heartfelt apologies as the Game Director for the fact t🌼hat the recently released Season 2 did not meet your expectations and caused inconvenience due to critical issues." He added, "We take all of your feedback and comments very seriously. The entire team is working together with full commitment to resolve these problems and deliver a better gameplay experience."

While Tekken 8's new patch hasn't solved all of the problems with Season 2 just yet, Ikeda took time to promise that "We will continue to make steady, meaningful improvements one by one, and do our utmost to regain your trust." Hopefully this will all blow over by the time Tekken 8 decides to introduce Captain Planet or whatever it's going to do to one-up Negan's arrival in Tekken 7.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken 8's Season 2 release has gone down like a ton of bricks. Fans have absolutely hated the new balance changes introduced alongside the first DLC character of the new season – Anna Williams – leading Tekken 8 to be hit with an Overwhelmingly Negative rating on However, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Har🐻ada has taken the criticism on the chin, saying "I personally do not think this backlash is at all unjustifܫied" in a ().

Tekken 8 typically has updates that align with new DLC fighters being released; however, everything with Tekken 8 Season 2 has gone so poorly that Bandai Namco is releasing an emergency✱ patch.

The 🐬posted a thread announcing that the patch will be released on Thursday, April 17, at 11am JST (so 3am BST, and on April 16 at 10𒉰pm ET and 7pm PT).

The Season 2 update was meant to address concerns that Tekken 8 was too focused on offense, but somehow, it made the game even more offe🍨nsive.

The Tekken account said, "We are aware that the certain added moves and perform🐈ance adjustments in Season 2 have shifted too heavily toward offe💦nse. We sincerely apologize for the results."

The Bandai Namco account's thread also stated that its upcoming patch will include "Increase Maximum Health to 🦂Allow for More Exchanges in Neutral," "Gradual Adjustments to Overly High-Reward Moves," and "Rebalancing the Offensive and Defensive Aspects of the Heat System."

Meanwhile, the next major patc꧃h for Tekken is set to arrive in mid-M🎉ay.

Harada and the Tekken team are no strangers to stressful situations, with the producer recently revealing he left Namco for a year in response to Tekken 4's reception.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Little Nightmares might be growing with each new instalment, but the characters we play as are not. Enter: Low and Alone, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Little Nightmares 3's dual child protagoni𒉰sts, whose ▨journey through The Spiral is sure to be fraught with all manner of insidious evils when the game launches later this year.

In a universe teeming with wonder and horror at every turn, Little Nightmares is at its strongest when that deft balance is achieved. "We are talking about charming horror on our side," Bandai Namco producer Coralie Feniello suggests of the game's tone. "I think [the term] fits very well, be♏cause it's a world that is really not made for you; it's a world that is made for the adults, the antagonists that you can see in the game, but you are here, and you are very small, and you are a little glimmer of hope in the middle of that. I think it's really that differentiation between charming and horror that makes it so powerful."

Stronger together

Little Nightmares 3

Developer: Supermassive Games
Publisher: Bandai Namco
Platform(s): PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch
Release date: TBC 2025

But although Little Nightmares 3 still champions an iconic creepy-cute aesthetic, it also marks a few series firsts. Most notably, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming horror game finally introduces online co-op functionality on top of its solo experience. It's something Feniello calls "the most requested [feature] by our 🥀community" following the launch of Little Nightmares 2.

"It's a challenge to devel🍃op it," ༒she explains of Supermassive Games' creative process, "because you always have to think about multiplayer and single player while you are creating puzzles and so on. You also have to test it thoroughly to make sure that it will be working in both setups." That's because Little Nightmares 3 is governed by a key goal: to offer a complete, satisfying experience whether or not you have a Player 2 handy.

In fact, according to Feniello,🐲 solo players might have a little something extra in store. "I really like playing it [solo] because you can see small flavor animations of the other character that is played by an AI, and that's more representative of their personality," she says. These "flavor animations" sound like idle animations, with the unplayed character respond♚ing to the new environments, but just how autonomous are they?

"We don't want to have the AI being too smart, because the player might feel like they♉ are doing everything, but we don't want to have the AI feeling dumb, either." The balancing workaround sounds simple: "the first time you see an object that the AI can interact with, you have to call the AI, and then they come and they do it." In short, the non-player character learns from directions. "But in terms of gameplay, we are making sure that it's the same level of experience and as enjoyable in multiplayer [as it is] in single. But maybe in single, you will have a bit more on the narrative part," no doubt thanks to the extra animations.

"...it's a world that is really not made for you; it's a world that is🍸 made for the adults, the antagonists…"

Coralie Feniello

With narrative and atmosphere being so intrinsic to the game, Little Nightmares 3 is bolstered by the creative chops of Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games, having taken🐲 the reins from Tarsier Studios as the lead developer on the project.

Credited with creating some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best horror games ever, Feniello always knew thꦰat Supermassive was up to the task. But despite the horror connection, how was the transition from photorealism to a more abstract art style? Was it a challenge for the team? "They have played a lot of Little Nightmares 1 and 2 to get to know the brand and to understand how things were done by Tarsier, to make sure that they were in line with the artistic direction and everything on our side at Bandai. We also have some people that have worked on Little Nightmares 1 and 2 – for example, me," she says of both the studio's approach and the publisher's role as overseer. "On Supermassive Games' side, there are also some people that have worked on Little Big Planet – like, for example, the game director – and so that's a more similar type of🍃 setup, you know, the 2.5 dimension type of cameras and stuff like that."

This is one way that a distinct Supermassive flavor permeates Little Nightmares 3, though subtle enough that only the more eagle-eyed studio fans might pick up on it. "Maybe something that a lo🐼t of people have already seen is the cameras," Feniello says. "The way we are managing the cameras is sometimes a bit more cinematic than what was in Little Nightmares 1 and 2, and that's due to part of the team having worked on more cinematic games." But at the end of the day, this is a Little Nightmares game – not The Dark Pictures. "We are꧒ still making sure that we keep the DNA [intact] overall," says Feniello, with Supermassive's own expertise feeding into "the experience of how you build up horror, how you build up a place that will be scary, how you create these types of environments."

Little Nightmares 3 is eyeballing an as-yet unconfirmed 2025 release date, so we might not be waiting much longer for Supermassive's latest thrill – albeit t✃his time, a much cuter oꦕne.

We have very little information so far about what will be included in the Elden Ring Nightreign beta, other than the official description of the network test which states that "selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch". In the final release, three players will team up and fight many 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign bosses over three in-game days to get ready for a final boss battle – so it's possible that the network test could be limited to a single day or a small selection of bosses, and it's unlikely that the final boss will be seen at this stage. We're also not sure which 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign characters will be available, but 🌄i🅘t's possible that it's the four that were available during a recent preview session.

That's everything we know about the Elden Ring Nightreign beta for now, but check back later as we'll be adding new information as it is announ💜ced.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Elden Ring Nightreign is finally here, launching months after it was first announced last year during the Game Awards 2024 showcase. It's safe🅘 to say that it's one of the most exciting games in terms of May releases; however, given the fact that Bandai Namco and FromSoftware are venturing into new gameplay territor𓃲y with this one, you may be wondering if it's the right pick for your gaming library.

As a standalone adventure that sees up to three players team up in online co-op to take on various dangers and work together to face the Nightlord, Nightreign takes place in a parallel universe to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring, set in the new setting of Limveld. You take on the role of Nightfarers, choosing from one of several different characters that each have their own unique abilities and weapons. You can pick from the likes of a Raider, to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the archer-type known as the Ironey♓e, and more. Nightreign is for sure a fresh take on the Soulsborne format, and there are plenty of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign tips for folks to already dig into. However, with the FromSoftware game 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Duskbloods to look forward to ꦫin the futurꩲe as well, you may be hesitant to give this game a shot.

Well, that's where we c🗹ome in. Below, we've gathered all the information you need to know about Elden Ring Nightreign. From its release, reviews, gameplay, and more, you'll find the latest news and insights right here!

Elden Ring Nightreign release date and reviews

FromSoftware released Elden Ring Nightreign on May 30, 2025.

Coming just a year after the much-anticipated DLC 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Shadow of the Erdtree, we weren't expecting the co-op extravaganza to land so soon; however, it's already proven to be one of the most exciting (and surprisingly divisive) 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games for 2025.

Currently, Elden Ring Nightreign has mixed reviews on with players finding the game fun but frustrating due to limited matchmaking options. In our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review, author Will Sawyer writes: "Elden Ring Nightrei🅷gn is certainly an odd game, and one that w🅷ill mainly appeal to only the most hardcore of Elden Ring fans."

We are keen to see how the g💖ame evolves in the future and to see how perc𝕴eptions may shift as more players pick up this title. So stay tuned for updates.

Elden Ring Nightreign platforms

Elden Ring Nightreign is on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One as of May 30, 2025. The great news is♊ that you won't need to own a copy of Elden Ring to access this cooperative experience with your friendඣs, as it is a standalone adventure.

While the new multiplayer experience is landing on multiple platforms, it's unfortunately been confirmed that there will be no 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign cross-play support. But with it on current-gen and last-gen consoles, it allows for ⛄cross-generation support, meaning PS4 players can battle alongside PS5 play༺ers, and Xbox One players can join up with Xbox Series X/S players.

Elden Ring Nightreign trailer

What is Elden Ring Nightreign?

Elden Ring Nightreign screenshot with three players battling an explosive creature

Elden Ring Nightreign is a three-player co-op game, a standalone spin-off adventure set in a universe parallel to the events of Elden Ring. You'll join two friends at the Roundtable Hold and then head off into the setting of Limveld, a country that "once thrived thanks the power of the gods" but is now "nearing it's end". Within it, you'll be fighting together with other players to survive three day-and-night cycles. Outlast the day, and you'll need to contend with the coming Night's Tide, which shrinks the map until you're left with no option but to battle one of many different 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign bosses.

The world becomes progressively more challenging across each of the three days, culminating in a battle with the Nightlord himself✅. FromSoftware says you can op👍t to play Elden Ring Nightreign solo, but there is strength in numbers.

Elden Ring Nightreign isn't Elden Ring DLC

Elden Ring Nightreign screenshot which highlights just how important co-op will be because of towering spider threats

Eld🌺en Ring Nightreign isn't a DLC, it's a standalone adventure. Publisher Bandai Namco has also confirmed that it won't be free-to-ওplay and that it isn't a premium-priced experience either. However, saying that, the game isn't exactly cheap either. Nightreign costs $39.99/ £34.99 for its standard edition and $54.99/£47.99 for the deluxe edition.

As this is standalone, it's unlikely that any progression or items will carry over from Elden Ring or Shadow of the Erdtree. So keep that in mind before finaliziꦜng your purchases.

Elden Ring Nightreign characters

Elden Ring Nightreign screenshot which displays three unique character builds engaged in combat against a hellish creature

Elden Ring Nightreign is a departure from the classic FromSoftware model. You won't be able to create a character from scratch, and will instead choose from one of eight unique 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign characters. Known as Nightfarers, each one has their own fighting styles, unique abilities, 🧸and ultimates,♌ fulfilling a fairly typical class role, be it fighter, mage, or assassin.

As you head into the real💜m of the Nightlord, you'll need to work together with two other players to ensure a balanced party – collaborating to take down powerful foes and venture into more dangerous parts of the open-world Limveld m🐟ap. You'll be able to customize the appearance of your character in Elden Ring Nightreign by unlocking skins, and you'll be able to upgrade your equipment by unearthing special relics.

Bandai Namco has released a series of character trailers, with details about each Nightfarer's abilities, which 🔯🔯are as follows:

 • : a "powerful sea-farer" who wields big weapons and makes use of a defensive character skill to reduce incoming damage.
 • : an archer with "pinpoint accuracy" who uses their skills with a bow to mark enemies, observe their surroundings, and deliver powerful shots.
 • : a character skilled in evasion and uses quick, agile moves to effectively dodge attacks and hide from enemies.
 • : A witch-like character that wields cursed magics that allows them to use powerful spells and invoke a blood chant to brand enemies.
 • : A character with "well-balanced abilities who can make use of a grappling claw to draw in enemies, or deliver a powerful hit with an iron stake.
 • : An eagle-like warrior-type character with high defensive abilities who wields a shield, and can perform a whirlwind move.

Elden Ring Nightreign gameplay

Elden Ring Nightreign screenshot which shows the new Limveld environment from a high vantage point

Elden Ring Nightreign gameplay is markedly different to the original Elden Ring. Where that experience dropped you into a sprawling open-world and left you well enough alone to figure out how to proceed, Elde🅷n Ring Nightreign is more focused. It's a session-based game, allowing you and two friends to launch into Limveld, the🐷 layout of which changes each time to step into it, and attempt to outlast three full day-and-night-cycles.

As you explore the land and battle enemies together you'll uncover more powerfu💞l weapons and better rune and relic rewards🐈 – used to upgrade your equipment and abilities. Sites of Grace can be located throughout the shrinking map too, giving you a chance to level up and gain crucial power for the session.

Leveling is different in Elden Ring Nightreign versus its single-player counterpart. You won't൩ be investing runes into individual stats, but rather into entire levels which increase your character stats across the 🥃board.

Nightreign has eight characters to choose betwe🐻en and stat expansion is different 𝐆for each of them. Character stat progression doesn't carry across between sessions – meaning that regardless of whether your group succumbs to the dangers of Limveld or is able to defeat the Nightlord, you'll always begin a new adventure back at level one.

There is however progression in the form of Relics – earned through both successful and unsuccessful runs – which provide massive bonuses, impacti🎐ng everything from exploration to your equipment.

Elden Ring: Nightreign screenshot of the Jar Merchant in the Roundtable base holding a sign for its store

As the details, each time you step into Limveld, you can choose to hunt enemies to increase your level, search for treasure to secure more weapons and armor, or infiltra൲te bases to gather information from operational maps hidden within, or take on powerful boss-like enemies roaming the lands to get your hands on rewards.

There's also a base for Nightfareres known as Roundtable Hold, where you can prepare for battl༺e. Here you can equip relics (that alter your stats and skills), and use the Fitting Mirror, which is where you can unlock special costumes and change up the appearance of your Nightfarer - and yes, there's even some costumes from Dark Souls and Bloodborne in the mix.

We also got a look at a♔ small Jar merchant that we can find in "a corner of the back room", according to the official . Operating a bazaar that sells "various goods", you're able to spend any currency known as "Murk" that we earn as battle rewards.

Curiously, as we fight against the night and take on the foes that inhabit the land, we also recover "fragments" of "lost memories" that will allow us to get a better picture of our chosen Nightfarer's recollections. The conversations♉ we discover within the memories might even re✤veal a new objective for us to take on in Limveld.

GamesRadar+'s senior writer Austin Wood said it "feels like a modded version of FromSoftware's best game ever" in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden ꧃Ring Neightreign han🍷ds-on preview, which is well worth checking out if you want to get a first-hand feel of what's in store.

Elden Ring Nightreign combat

Elden Ring Nightreign screenshot showing a little magic and skeletal summoning

The Elden Ring Nightreign combat experience builds on the baseline Elden Ringℱ experience, but there are some notable differences. With the character creator gone, there are eight builds to choose between as you load into a session, each with its own equipment, weapons, and proficiencies. From the gameplay footage we've seen so far, it's the combination of the three characters that unlocks the best opportunities in Elden Ring Nightreign, with tank, DPS, and support builds coming together to tackle big challenges.

There's some subtle changes too, with fal﷽l damage removed from the experience, and movement sped up to allow faster exploration and navigation as you combat a shrinking map. Otherwise, you should expect Elden Ring Nightreign to handle similarly to the original Elden Ring, ♏with the controls and core combat mechanics returning.

It's also been revealed that Elden Ri🍸ng Nightreign features a different kin𒉰d of revival system that will see you actually attack incapacitated teammates to bring them back into the fray. Game director Junya Ishizaki explained the decision to include this unique take on reviving in an official :

"As we were tossing around ideas, we realized that 'attacking' is the most consistent element of Nightreign's game🌃play," Ishizaki says. "We tested to see if it would work for resuscitation, and we discovered a wide variety of tactics depending on r🍸ange, frequency, and probability, so we formally implemented it. We also found it quite amusing."

Elden Ring is one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best action games ever made, but only time will tell if this co-op spin-off will be considered one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best online games in today's market.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> In Hirogami, the new action platformer from Gyaar Studio, I've just transformed into an armadillo made out of paper - or more accurately, folded myself into its shape to make use of its ꦐabilities like an origami-powered version of Kirby. I immediately put its skills to use by curling myself into a ball to bounce off enemies to inflict damage, then crash through every single box that comes into my path. My armadillo form is the first transformation I unlock during my hands-on demo, but it isn't the last. As protagonist Hiro, I'm tasked with trying to help save this beautiful 3D origami world from a digital blight, which is mysteriously appearing throughout the lands. Armed with a paper fan, I can eradicate traces of the blight by destroying digital blocks that contrast with the paper environments, but I can also help animals that have turned aggressive after🍬 being infected.

For reasons yet unknown to me, Hiro is able to help the various inhabit꧟ants by defeating their warped forms. Facing a blighted armadillo, for example, is how I learn how to adopt its shape and take on 🅺its abilities. After jumping out of the way of its rolling charges so that it hurts itself on nearby spikes, the digital sheen of the armadillo's shell disappears, and I'm granted its powers so I can then fold myself into its form.

I only get to spend an hour with the upcoming adventure that was just announced at the Tokyo Game Show, but I'm instantly taken by its gorgeous 💖3D design and th🦹e way both the platforming levels and Hiro's abilities are creatively infused with the origami theme of the world.

Paper powers

Hirogami screenshot shows Hiro in front of digital blight boxes

As I learned during m🅷y demo session, Hirogami was brought to life by a veteran team, with some Splatoon 3 artists and developers from Tekken and Ace Combat 7 on board. Gyaar Studio is well known in Japan for being the indie label established by Bandai Namco, which was formed to give developers creative freedom to work on passion projects to bring to life their unique ideas. The only stipulation is that they need to find their own publisher, which is how the small Singapore studio behind Hirogami came to work with Kakehasไhi Games. The new platformer has been designed to capture a nostalgic feel and hark back to the simplicity and joy of games that developers on the team used to play.

From my time as Hiro, there's definitely a laid-back feel to the adventure, and the paper world is the kind of place you want to spend time in. The origami aesthetic of Hirogami is definitely a big draw for me, and I love how it creatively feeds into the design of the levels and how you traverse them. Instead of crouching to get through small crevices, for example, you turn into a sheet of paper to slide your way through them, and likewise when you need to jump up to a pl൲atform using wind to propel you across, becoming a piece of paper lets you soar over gaps with ease.

Every animal you can transform into also gives you new ways to overcome obstacles or fight against the blight. Alongside the armadillo that gi𒐪ves me the ability to quickly roll through levels, I also get to become a frog, which allows me to leap and reach platforms high up. During one novel section, I also tꩵransform into a paper airplane to fly my way over to another level. I have to try to fly into bonus pieces of paper, and blast any obstacles away by firing out crumpled up sheets, but it's a fun way of changing things up before I'm back to platforming.

Interestingly, everything you encounter is also possible to make in reality, with the publisher telling me the team had an origami expert who could make the armadillo I'm controlling out of paper. When I go into hubworld where you can go from one level to the next - not unlike 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Kirby and the Forgotten Land - I briefly explore the map and discover it's set within a story book, which adds to its charm and only leaves me with more questions about this world. As I reach one corner of the page I'm on, for example,🃏 I find a huge 🀅teacup sitting outside of it that makes Hiro seem so small.

Throughout my time with Hirogami, I was really drawn to the way it plays around w🥂ith the idea that this paper world is under threat from something digital – as though the two formats struggle to exist together, and one corrupts the other. From its beautiful 3D style to its creative transformation abilities, I'm already looking forward to returning to this colorful origami world to see how Hiro's journey will unfold when it releases in 2025.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> 2024 has been a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:banner year for JRPGs so far. Granblue Fantasy: Relink got the party well and truly going after gestating in development for years, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth followed up in style. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Games like Unicorn Overlord have stretched the JRPG genre into more of a strategy vein, while returning golden oldies like Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door prove there’s stillඣ uncove🅰red treasures in the past.

Now that Summer Game Fest 2024 is nearly here, there’s heightened anticipation for what comes next after these bangers. The good news is there's some sublime-looking new JRPGs on the horizon, and we won't have to wait long to play some of them. Here are five upcoming JRPGs we're keeping an eye on, and keen to know more about, during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest schedule

Visions of Mana

Visions of Mana

Now here’s an incredibly promising JRPG. Visions of Mana is the next release in Square Enix’s long-running JRPG series, and every trailer and screenshot we’ve seen to date is just bursting at the seams with color and personality. Add that Visions of Mana is bringing back the series creator after 16 years𒊎, and there’s plenty 💫of reason for veterans to be excited about the new entry.

Visions of Mana is still slated to launch at some point this summer, at the time of writing. Considering we’re almost ♏in June now, the release window for Square Enix’s JRPG is shrinking by the week. A Summer Game Fest showing would be the perfect way for Square Enix to roll out its hot new JRPG in a long-running series, just months before it theoretically launches.

Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio

Long-running Persona series creative director Katsuhira Hashino is doing something deliciously different with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio, a JRPG that eschews Person’s modern trappings for a grand Medieval-style adventure with warring factions in a broken kingdom. Hey, the new game from the Persona lead doesn’t even have romance options, if you need proof of how much of a🐟 departure it is.

Metaphor: ReFantazio looks nothing short of fantastic, blending together real-time and turn-based combat to bring something fresh to the JRPG table. Fresh off Unicorn Overlord’s smash-hit launch, now's a great time for Atlus to put its hot new game in front of a huge audience before it arrives with a bang later this year on October 11 across all console platforms and PC. And happily, it looks like we're set to see more, with a recent announcement confirming an exclusive showcase will be happening on June 7

Blue Protocol

Blue Protocol

Blue Protocol is giving Genshin Impact vibes, and that's not a bad thing. The free-to-play action-RPG, developed by Bandai Namco and published by Amazon, of all companies, is due out later this year, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:and is actually a full-on MMORPG. I know 𝔍we're not exactly short of huge MMOs right now (Final Fantasy 14 is on the cusp of launching its next expansion, even), but the thought of delving into a vast new anime land with big characters and customization options is still an exciting prospect.

What's critical about Blue Protocol is that it just relatively recently abandoned its June 2024 release date, and now♔ doesn't have a release date beyond later this year at some point. Summe♉r Game Fest would be the perfect opportunity for Bandai to show players of Genshin Impact and the new Wuthering Waves why they need to be paying attention to this MMORPG when it launches.

Reynatis

Reynatis

Now here's a bizarre game that came out of nowhere just recently. Reynatis is a vibrant new JRPG with music from Yoko Shimomura of Ki꧅ngdom Hearts fa💧me, and it’s written by Kazushige Nojima, most recently scribe for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. But wait, there's more! Reynatis has already planned a collaboration with NEO: The World Ends With You, of all things, a sadl꧅y overlooked Square Enix series.

Reynatis is due out later this year on September 27, but I'm dying to kℱnow more about this intriguing new JRPG before then. If you're going to make a big splash with a JRPG that's gone to painstaking lengths to recreate Shibuya, of all places, what better event to make a splash at than Summer Game Fest?

Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate

Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate

Yes, our list contains long-gestating games that we haven't seen or heard much of in years. Square Enix has gone relatively silent on Dragon Quest 12 since it was announced back in 2021, and while a new Dragon Quest is always a treat for JRPG fans far and wide, we'd love to simply know more about the game itself, like story and combat details - considering Yuji Horii previously said Dragon Quest 12 would shake up combat

I'd love for Square Enix to present Dragon💟 Quest 12 in front of a huge audience at Summer Game Fest. The JRPG series is obviously revered, but it's never had the mainstream success it genuinely deserves outside of Japan. A big splash at Summer Game Fest, especially in the context of 2024 being a banger year for JRPGs, would be a perfect rollout for Dragon Quest 12.

Here are the 15 games we really want to see at Summer Game Fest.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Shadow of the Erdtree is out at the end of the month, but I was lucky enough to get to play three hours of the upcoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring DLC recently as part of a preview event. Consequently I already have my build picked out, one entirely focused on the new weapon type: Martial Arts. Monk builds aren't just for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 anym෴ore, it seems - now you can throw hands in the Lands Between as well.

When given my preview of the DLC, Bandai Namco were quick to provide some context that Shadow of the Erdtree would come with a stagge🌼ring range of gear; over 100 new weapons and eight new weapon types among them. One of those immediately spoke to me: Martial Arts, a real departure from classic FromSoftware operating procedure. It's rare in any Soulsborne games to go into an encounter without your hands being full - either with tempered steel or arcane fire. Well, not any more.

Everybody was kung-fu fighting

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

(Image credit: FromSoftware / Bandai Namco)

Of all the new weapons I was given to try out, two of them fell under the Martial Arts bracket - though calling them weapons is only true in the technical sense. In reality they were each their own pair of gloves equippable in the weapon slot that I guess… somehow imbue the wea♕rer with black belt-level ass kicking abilities.

One was the Dryleaf Arts, a dexterity-focused combat style based around rapid strikes. The other: the Red Bear's Claw, which focuses on strength builds, bleed damage, and sounding delicious. It was the former that ꦅI got the most glee out of, running in and indiscriminately brutalizing's the hapless warriors, scorpions, ghosts and necrotic peacocks of the Belurat ruins. The individual punches in Martial Arts don't do much damage (at least from my experience💟), but you're throwing out dozens of them in a flash, and the ability to chain strikes together fluidly without loss of momentum is fantastic, typing complex combos on an enemy's nose.

Punch drunk

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

(Image credit: FromSoftware / Bandai Namco)

Beyond damage, Martial Arts are devastating on an enemy's poise in a way that almost no other weapon in Elden Ring seems to be. Whenever a burly knig෴ht would advance on me with sword drawn, I'd roll under the first swing and come up in a barrage of melee strikes that sent him reeling and left him wide open to have his heart ripped out of his chest, Temple of Doom style. Other times I'd go sprinting into a sepulchral temple and announce myself to the slathering horror squatt❀ing inside with a flying kick to the head.

Equipped with one of these new Arts, Elꦿden Ring almost feels like a whole new game at times, though hardly an easier one. I admit that while beating up regular schmoes with palm strikes usually went well enough, stunlocking a giant boss was like trying to nuzzle your way through a statue, though perhaps the time and opportunity to craft my own custom build will help there. Either way, I'm looking forward to sparring m🌌y way through the Realm of Shadow when the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC drops on 21 June.

The Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree is the best thing it could possibly be: more Elden Ring, but way harder.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Bandai Namco has stealthily released a new freebie about a Pomeranian making an absolute mess, and it's surprisingly one൩ of the publisher's best-rated Steam games ever.

Doronko Wanko shadow-dropped onto the digital storefront earlier this week on March 26, tasking us all to become the "cute, in🔯nocent Pomeranian" who needs to "make your master's home messy and dirty." Animals causing chaos is perhaps my favorite new genre after bullying villagers in🍸 Untitled Goose Game, so this setup seems failproof.

Pomeranians can be exorbitantly fluffy creatures, as Pom owners will be frightfully aware of, which handily makes them perfect sponges for dirt. Our titular good boy ca🎃n soak up mud puddles and then make a total mess by shaking about. But we can also use various items in the house to further our mess, like a fan that can fling our mud to further corners and such. There's even a little elephant hat that can shoot liquid out of its trunk.

The simple joys of getting messy seem to have worked wonders since Doronko Wanko curr🐲ently sits at an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating based on over 700 user reviews, with many players praising the freebie's chill vibes and hilarious secrets.

💖Bandai Namco also released two other free games with (a game about grinding on player-made rails) and (a robot hacking puzzler) joining in on the fun.

Free games are always nice, but what's more interesting to me is how these games came to fruition. reports that the trio was developed under the publisher's incubator label, Gyaar Studio, which allows new developers to gain experience and cut their teeth on💎 smaller projects.

Xalavier Nelson Junior - the lead developer on El Paso, Elsewhere - that fishing RPG Dave The Diver and Ubisoft's experimental platformer Grow Home were both "produced in a somewhat similar way - with splinter teams inside of large organizations, using spare cycles/staff of multiple experience levels to build games that aren't feasible at a AAA scale (but wildly profitable otherwise.)" Perhaps the idea is one way to make game development slightly more sustainaꦓble.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Without Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, modern Japanese RPGs likely wouldn't exist. From his iconic sprites that injected Dragon Quest 3's rudimentary 8 bit graphics with a lease of life, to his timeless character designs that endlessly enrich Chrono Trigger, Toriyama's playful artwork played a huge role in popularizing video games in Japan. Thanks to his box art and in-game designs that endeared anime and manga fans to this strange new medium, Square Enix's early RPGs found huge success – and the late, great Toriyama continued to work on designs for Dragon Quest up until 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:his untimely passing. In other words, Toriyama was just as pivota🅘l to video g🧸ames as he was to manga.

Now, hot on the heels of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:brilliant Disney + adaptation of Toriyama's 2000 manga, Sand Land, Bandai Namco is hoping to harness that beloved video game-esque source material into a quasi-open world RPG. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where water is scarce, Sand Land sees both demons and humans roaming their desert home in search of any last remaining traces of liquid. With the setting's greedy monarch and his Royal Army hoarding h20 and selling it for extortionate profits, plucky demon prince Beelzebub and aging human sheriff Rao rel♛uctantly team up in order to track down the last remaining natural spring.

It's an endearing set up, and one that Toriyama's man💯ga and anime leverages into a wonderfully whimsical, Dragon Ball-esque take on the post apocalypse. Yet where Avalanche Studio's Mad Max transformed the vast desert into an atmospheric open world character of its own, sitting down to experience Namco's arid landscape hands-on sadly proves it feels like a yellow-coloured backdrop for a world of limited exploration, middling combat and box ticking collectathons.

Dangerous dunes

Taking the term sandbox incredibly literally here, One Piece: Odyssey studio ILCA harks back to a simpler age of licensed tie-ins, side lining modern AAA game design in favor of something more rudimentary. Armed with a beaten up buggy, players take control of the acrobatic Beelzebub as he and his trio of mismatched misfits embark on their desert-spanning journey. As you tear up the dangerous dunes, you'll discover various materials that can be used to upgrade your collection of dust-coat𒀰ed vehicles.

The 25 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best RPGs you can play right now

Much like the manga itself, the setting is ripe for tur🃏ning into a rollicking open world adventure - and on the vehicle front Sand Land partly delivers. In a nice touch, a handy scroll wheel lets you spawn your chosen vehicle ꦜin front of you no matter where Beezlebub is in the game world, allowing you to spawn an ill advised walker in an enemy base or maneuver across a crumbling temple staircase in a hovercraft simply by lobbing a tiny sphere in your path, Poke ball / capsule Corp style.

Whether it's chugging along ibn between those classic Toriyama tanks, zooming across dirt tracks on a motorbike, or destroying dinosaurs in a bipedal armed walker, the arcadey blend of driving and blasting offers up some nostalgic thrills - a💦 throwback to PS2 era's pulpy past. There's an enjoyable level of part-led tinkering, too, as I swap out my walkerꦑ's machine gun and upgrade my tank's main cannon in the garage in order to make those sweet, sweet damage stats rise.

The problem, however, comes whenever Sand Land forces you to step outside your vehicle. Armed with just a basic and special attack – and some unremarkable partner abilities – Sand Land's melee combat feels completely lacking in depth or nuance. Where in the anime an🌼d manga, beelzebub pummels bandits and Royal soldiers with Saiyan-worthy aplomb, here the mindless mashing lacks the heft you'd expect from a Namco game, with an tragically wonky camera ensuring that each dull overworld brawl feels like an afterthought. After the enjoyable focused fighting of 2020's DBZ Kakarot, it's a crying shame.

Sand Land

Still, I found myself practically begging for some more flimsy fisticuffs after experiencing Sand Land's utterly dire attemp𝕴ts at stealth missions. As Beezlbub, Thief and Rao continue their perilous thirst-quenching quest, they regularly find themselves needing to ‘liberate' supplies from the authoritarian Royal Army. Hopping into their heavily-guarded bases, there's ample potential for sneaky shenanigans. Yet thanks to poor guard AI, empty environments and little attempt at either a narrative throughline or environmental storytelling, you're instead forced to endure the kind of insta-fail stealth missions that would make even the most hardened ps2 era developer blush.

Thankfully, a late game tank mission is a clear highlight. With your upgraded war machine allowing you to ta🅷ke on a troupe of Royal army tanks you duck and weave your way out of cannon fire across the dust-coated dunes in an enjoyable slice of tank on tank warfare. While my three hours with Sand Land offered a handful of enjoyable moments like these, considering the sense of adventure oozing from the source material, it's hard not to feel like an open world RPG in this universe could have been genuinely exciting. Blending basic hand to hand combat with vehicular battles, Zelda-lite dungeons and base infiltration, on paper, Sand Land has the makings of a solid open world yarn. Yet in practice, Sand Land's middling collision of disparate gameplay mechanics makes it a jack of all trades, demon prince of none.

Through no fault of Bandai Namco's, it's difficult to separate Sand Land with the gut wrenching loss of the 68-year-old gaming and manga icon. Mere days after his death, with Toriyama's loss weighing heavy on my heart, I went into this demo session wanting to love this game, to lose myself in a playable slice of Toriyama magic. Yet thanks to Sand Land's alarmingly shallow disparate gameplay mechanics and cutscenes that completely fail to capture the anime's charm, this demo left me feeling coldℱer than the desert night.

Where the full game may offer more in the way of gameplay surprises, what we've played thus far suggests a perfunctory ‘my first open world' adventure whose retro-inspired game design will appeal to younger players. Yet given Toriyama's 🐷legendary history with𒆙 the medium, older gamers will rightly wonder whether one of Toriyama's last adaptations deserved better.

Sand Land is set to come to PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5 on April 25, 2024. Look ahead to all of the exciting upcoming releases with our roundup of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games for 2024 and beyond.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Developer FromSoftware now fully owns the trademark to its open world opus 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring, aft🌼er previously sharing ownership with publisher Bandai Namco.

Changes to the trademark records apparently went into effect last year on April 24, 2023, even though government websites in the and only reflected the "change of ownership" recently. Bandai Namco is still actively on publishing duties and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was highlighted in its latest earnings rep✱ort, so this legal handover doesn't change anything immediately.

While Bandai Namco isn't totally out of the picture - the company even updated its Elden Ring YouTube playlist recently - this change in ownership could signal FromSoftware's growing ambitions. The heavyweight studio recently planned to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:expand in size, potentially gearing up to self-pu🗹blish its future 𓃲slate following investments from Sony and Tencent.

FromSoftware's parent company even mentioned plans to kickstart ꦛthe stu♉dio's self-publishing efforts in the next few years, after publishing deals with Sony (who own the Bloodborne IP), Activision (whꦐo published Sekiro outside of Japan), and, of course, Bandai Namco (Armored Core, Dark Souls). We'll see how this affects the studio's future games, if at all, soon.

The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is presumably the studio's next project slated for release. Details are scarce on the nebulous expansion, but it's seemingly ꧙澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:entering its final phases of production. Only FromSoft could drop a t🐬easer image, set community theories ablaze, and then go radio silent fo💞r months. I bet it’ll be worth the wait anyway.

In the meantime, Elden Ring might receive a gacha game in the vein of Genshin Impact.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> One of the ann💜ouncements coming out of Sony's PlayStation State of Play in January 2024 was that the popular adventure game Dave🌄 the Diver will receive a free DLC expansion in May 2024 containing official Godzilla content. The announcement comes after Minecraft getting its own Godzilla DLC in January, and a paid Godzilla DLC being added to the kaiju arena brawler GigaBash back in 2022. While it's always nice to see the King of the Monsters make guest-starring appearances in a variety of video games, it does beg the question why Godzilla doesn't just star in his own major studio video game.

Going into 2024, Godzilla is at his most internationally iconic, from being the subject of the acclaimed Apple TV+ original series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, to riding the high of the enormously successful feature film reboot Godzilla Minus One. Released in 2023, Minus One is the most financially successful Japanese Godzilla of all-time and the first to be nominated for an Academy Award, in addition to universal critical acclaim worl⭕dwide. 2024 also marks the cinematic continuation of the Mon🧸sterVerse with the March release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and serves as the 70th anniversary of the Godzilla franchise overall.

Scaled up

Godzilla

Simply put, Godzilla is as globally ubiquitous as he's ever been, but hasn't starred in his own video game since 2014 – mobile games notwithstand🍌ing – with a PS4 game published by Bandai Namco simply known as Godzilla. Released to help commemorate the franchise's 60th anniversarꦉy, Godzilla wouldn't come to the North American market until the following year, under the title Godzilla VS, with a handful of new playable characters included. An arena brawler like 2002's classic Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, the 2014 Godzilla was in North America and was a .

This rough reception understandably informs why Godzilla has been put on gaming ice, at least as a playable character in a marquee title, for a decade, but the growing appreciation of the franchise and hunger for a new Godzilla game is palpable. There are pl🦄enty of arena brawlers, including past titles in the franchise like Destroy All Monsters Melee or 2004's Godzilla: Save the Earth, to serve as a gameplay template for future Godzilla games to follow. The important thing is to make sure that Godzilla isn't tꦍhe only familiar Toho kaiju invited to the party.

What a Godzilla game needs and has been present in successful titles in the franchise's foray into gaming in the past is a whole playable roster of iconic kaiju spanning the multiple eras of the franchise. From the lengthy Shōwa era spanning from 1954 to 1975 to the darker Heisei era from the &😼apos;80s and '90s and subsequent reinventions of the character with the Millennium and Reiwa eras, there is a lot of Godzilla history that can be celebrated in a new game. Past Godzilla games have featured multiple iterations of the King of Monsters, while adding favorites like MechaGodzilla, Biollante, and Jet Jaguar, and this tradition should be maintained.

Godzilla

"What a Godzilla game needs is a whole playable roster of iconic kaiju spanning the multiple eras of t෴he franchise."

Moreover, what a new Godzilla game needs to avoid is a rushed development window and ex♐cessive corporate oversight in how the iconic kaiju are depicted. This goes as basic as character movement, as much of the criticism surrounding Godzilla 2014 being how slowly many of the kaiju moved in the game, with reviewers feeling it was overly cumbersome. Another major source of criticism was relatively generic and uꦍninspired level design, with more variety and optimization for multiplayer gameplay being major factors that should be kept in mind.

The number of Godzilla fans has only grown worldwide as the franchise takes on new levels of cultural relevance and international profile in the ꧒wake of its recent successes. Unless there's a secret project cooking, it's likely too late for a new Godzilla-starring game to come in time for the franchise's 70th anniversary, but the ongoing absence of a Godzilla game is only becoming more noticeable as the gap since Godzilla 2014 grows. As one of the biggest cultural exports from Japan, a country that saved the North American video game industry, Godzilla certainly deserves his own title once again and more than just in mobile games and guest-starring appearances.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Tekken 8 is the next entry in o🐈ne of gaming's longest-running storylines, with the Mishima family's successional feud stretching back three whole decades, but the series iꦕs still introducing all-new fighters after all this time.

With so many old-timers and newcomers in the mix, hovering over the roster can 🌞be extra daunting, which is why the sequel's leads have thankfully revealed who they think the best newbies are.

Director Kohei Ikeda tells 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Play Magazine in Issue 36 that his favorite new recruit is Azucena, the mixed martial artist from Peru who actually only fights to promote her coffee bean business. Talk about a grinder! Producer Michael Murray, translating on Ikeda's behalf, explains that the director enjoys her "just because he's a big fan of coffee," which is a totally understanda꧅ble position.

Murray elaborates that the coffee-loving brawler also "has a stance where she can bear attacks automatically" that "feels really good and feels like you’re really strong." Hopefully she can also bear the bear attacks from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:bear character Kuma

Murray's own personal favorite is the mysterious high school student Reina, pointing to her striking purple and black fit as one reason for that. "I'm a Mishima player," Murray explains, "and she has the Electric Wind God Fist - and it’s just so satisfying! And her personality!" Murray hints that, for fans, it's difficult to know whether Reina is "a nice person or a bad person." But the producer says he especially likes "villainous chꦉaracters" - so I’m guessing Reina has a darker side to her.

We'll see which side of the spectrum she lands on when Tekken 8 releases on January 26 for PC, PS5, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Series X|S. Gamesradar's recent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken 8 preview had praise for the upcoming fighter's fierce and fiercely weird roster, its story campaign, and its all-new Arcade Quest mode, which lets ♊you create a Mii-like avatar to roam around an actual arcade.

Will Tekken 8 be a challenger on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best fighting games throne?

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Bandai Namco has put itself in the crosshairs of the anime community by downplaying the relationship between the openly married female leads of last season's hit🦂 series Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury.

This backlash started over the weekend after the official Witch From Mercury and Gundam Twitter acco🐟unts shared a addressing comments in a new issue of Japan's Monthly Gundam Ace magazine. To put it simply, voice actor Kana Ichinose discussed the marriage between series leads Suletta and Miorine, only for Bandai Namco to have mention of marriage removed from the final issue and rush out a statement insisting that their relationship is up to interpretation.

The key bit of the accompanying (machine translated from Japanese) reads: "We would like to leave it up to each and every one of you who have seen ꩲthe main story to understand and interpret it, and we would like you to enjoy the work."

There are a few reasons that Bandai itself is in the hot seat. The name is often associated with Bandai Namco Entertainment specific🔯ally, the video game publisher behind the likes of Armored Core 6, Elden Ring, the Tales games, and many more franchises. But the company consists of multiple subsidiaries including production and publishing arms well beyond video games.

The Witch From Mercury was made by Bandai Namco Filmworks/Sunrise, and Bandai holds the rights to Gundam in general; it recently announced the impending shutdown of the Overwatch-like game Gundam Evolution, for example.

Monthly Gundam Ace is technically overseen by Kadokawa, which Bandai has worked with for well over a decade. However, the explainer published after fans noticed discrepancies in the magazine's physical and dig🅘ital issues is signed by Bandai Namco Filmworks. reports that Bandai checked the interview, after a Monthly Gundam Ace editor who assumed the two characters were married, and requested the redaction, though the change never made it to the print version of the mag.

Nobody has clearly explained the reason for the redaction beyond the vague substitute desꦉcription of Suletta and Miorine's relationship, so it's thus far been attributed to the conservative values and as well as other markets where The Witch From Mercury is available. The speculative reasoning is that Bandai was seemingly willingly to undermine its own story if it meant avoiding a legal or censorship dispute elsewhere.

Anime fans are no stranger to nebulously defined relationships, especially in LGBT stories. The t☂hing is, the relationship between Suletta and Miorine is not nebulously defined. Without wishing to spoil too much, their marriage is a central plot point throughout the entire serie൲s.

The image above is taken directly from the pinned tweet on the series' Twitter account and features the two leads holding hands wearing wedding bands. In an opening episode, Miorine skewers the idea that two women can't get married. They refer to each other as brides multiple times. One character goes so far as to r🍬efer to themselves as being an in-law due to𝄹 the marriage of the two.

Short of someone following them around with a big neon sign that says "gay," it truly couldn't be any clearer. As a result, many fans of the anime, which was received so well that it helped , have responded to the publisher's decision with equal parts scorn and sarcasm across multiple com🐷munities and platforms.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring patch 1.10 will be deploy❀ed later today 𒆙on July 27.

﷽Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced earlier today that Elden Ring would be pulled offline for a grand ღtotal of three hours for maintenance. The for Elden Ring patch 1.1.0 followed at the end of that three-hour window, leaving a handful of PvP and balance adjustments in their wake.

The headline change appears to be to Poise, which has been increased across some attacks, and now offers damage reduction when generated. However, all weapons and some spells now deal more Poise damage, presumably in an attempt to pr❀event the tool from running wild through PvP. Elsewhere, there are substantial changes to critical hits - extended angles should make landing a hit easier, and more damage means that when you do score a hit, your opponent will definitely feel it. Finally, decreased r🐟ecovery team and yet more Poise damage after a missed critical hit should reduce the risk/reward calculation.

It's a little surprising that FromSoftware is still working on balance adjus♎tments for Elden Ring, over a year and a half after the game originally launched. There's also a chance that the developer iജs quietly laying groundwork for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

The text of the tweet above sort of hints at maintenance being done to the Elden Ring servers as well during the downtime. If you're still ploughing through The Lands Between with friends online, or taking down enemies in the grand𒀰 Colosseum, then this new update should make life a little easier for you.

So far at least, we've heard nothing about the new Elden Ring DLC, 🍬Shadow of the Erdtree, since it was originally announced earlier this year. It doesn't look like that's about to change, today at least.

Here's why we want longer boss runs in the Elden Ring DLC, even if it does make us a masochist.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> My first impression of Blue Protocol, a free-to-play MMO from Bandai Namco and Amazon Games that's headed West next year, comes with a disclaimer: I'm usually not an ♍MMORPG person.

I've sampled quite a few of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best MMOs, but outside 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Destiny 2 as an adult and Runescape🎃 as a teen, usually only in bursts, often while treating them like single-player games wherever possible. This is actually why I was interested in Blue Protocol to begin with. It does seem to have the grindy bones of an MMO you could turn into a lifestyle game if that's your bag, but to my delight, it also seems like a fun and free JRPG unabashedly infused with the energy and style of games like Bandai's Tails series.

I was able to squeeze in about 35 minutes with Blue Protocol in the Amazon Games booth at this year's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, and it wa♉s one of the most hectic demos I've experienced in the 10 years I've been writing about games. MMOs are notoriously hard to preview because a quick bite of a vertical slice cannot possibly teach you everything about the gameplay loop, the end game grind, and so on, and that was certainly the case here.

I barely had time to ♓breathe as I shuffled around different activities on a virtual tour. There's still quite a lot I'd like to know, though input from one lead dev helped clear up a few things. But if you only take one thing away from this preview, let it be this: I want to play more of Blue Protocol after sampling it.

New World

Blue Protocol custom character

As I inevitably do in MMOs, I started by trying to make a cute avatar based on a character from one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best anime games – in this case, Kisara from Tales of Arise, partly because she's a great tank and I knew from minute one that I'd be playi🌺ng the class with a shield. As I'll explain later, I did not regret this choice of class. Blue Protocol's character creator is fairly basic, a far cry from anime boutiquꦦes like Code Vein, but it gets the job done and I quickly ended up with a likable look.

I liked my character even more after seeing them in the introductory animated cutscene, which is an impressive match for the lavish anime shorts sprinkled over the g🌟ame. Bandai's role in Blue Protocol is clearest in its visuals, from the overall style to specific character designs. Everyone accessorizes and🌱 the world is lush and vibrant.

Unfortunately, I only got about 90-seconds to take in that world before I was shepherded into a six-player d♉ungeon for the bulk of my session. The world looked nice! I want to see more of it! But combat was the focus of my Blue Protocol preview, and I can't really complain because it seems pretty good.

Combat is king

Blue Protocol

Blue Protocol is a third-person action game, not a tab-target MMO. You'll dodge, block, parry, and chain combos together as you would in other Bandai games – check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Code Vein review or 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Scarlet Nexus review if you're after a clearer picture. Blue Protocol has five classes at the time of writing, with a promising, lance-wielding sixth coming in the not-too-distant future. The Keen Strider is an archer, Twin ♉Striker is a dual-wielding melee unit, Spell Weave🐻r's the mage of the group, Foe Breaker uses a hard-hitting hammer, and Blade Warden packs a sword-and-shield.

Like Final Fantasy 14, classes are tied to wꦉeapons and there's no need to level multiple characters; you can swap classes whenever you're outside big co♕mbat zones. Crafting stronger weapons is central to Blue Protocol's progression, and as I understand it, that grind can get quite long if you want it to, with a whole lot of mob farming on the way.

Interestingly, I'm told that these classes deliberately skirt around the classic triangle of DPS, healers, and tank🧔s by giving every class some flexibility through two creature summons, four active skills, class-agnostic passive abilities, and itemization that can be adjusted to play more offensively or supportively. My default demo Blade Warden was geared for defense with lots of blocking ab♍ilities that could shield my teammates, and these actually came into play in a meaningful way even in a beginner dungeon.

Blue Protocol

I asked franchise lead Mike Zadorojny about my personal acid test for MMO classes: babies and babysitters. For those who don't yet subscribe to this theory, just know that DPS classes are babies and supports babysit them. Humoring me, he explains that some of Blue Protocol's babysitters can🎶 equip abilities to resurrect allies faster or, as I was while playing Blade Warden, take damage for teammates. You can skew more defensively, but I get the impression that everyone is a DPS on some level, which makes sense for this kind of action system.

I was only able to properlﷺy play Blade Warden for about 20 minutes, but despite that I still had a good time. Attacks look and feel powerful, and it didn't take long for me to start chaining abilities together and stacking up the party chain meter. Charge in with a shield bash, time a stun to interrupt an enemy attack, pop two cooldowns for burst damage, and then fire a pocketed ultimate to heal up. Facing a bunch of enemy mage attacks, I'd set up a big shield of light to let the archers behind me attack uninterrupted. Look at me, being a good babysitter.

To my surprise, the Blade Warden also has a proper parry bཧuilt in, and after swatting a fireball away with a flick of my wrist, I was overjoyed with my choice of class. I'm a sucker for parries in action games, and I speak with experience when I say it's rare for an MMO to pull off a good one. There's also some added depth in basic attacks. If you time a directional inputᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ just right, you can put a spin on the angle of your character's swing or cause them to move just enough to dodge an enemy AoE marker without breaking your flow. The final boss of my dungeon was a lame boar with a bunch of HP, but slashing it was satisfying at least. Blue Protocol has a remarkably robust action system for a free game that seems to be pretty big.

It's clear you're going to farm A Lot of mobs in Blue Protocol, from 30-player world bosses to six-player raids and time attacks, so I suppose killing them had better be fun. My demo was encouraging on that front. 🥂My hope is that the 2024 launch takes me back to the Tales of Berseria days of turning my brain off🍎 and just comboing the daylights out of some dudes for a few hours to unwind, now in a stunning colorful world and sometimes with the company of some other players.

The question now is whether free-to-play MMO baggage like gacha cosmetics and a premium battle pass will somehow get in the way of that fun. I'm told the devs are still evaluating sys🤡tems like these in the context of the game's Western release, so I don't know what to expect there. In any case, my hopes for Blue Protocol as a JRPG vacation spot are still alive, an🌃d that's good news for now.

Blue Protocol was one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games of 2023 that we were keeping a close eye on, although it was delayed to 2024 in the US and UK back in May. Bandai Namco and Amazon Games is now targeting a 2024 release window for its action-MMORPG, where it will launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> If everyone in the world played 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring, we'd have defeated 24 enemies each so far.

Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco has released an infographic chock full of stats on what we've been up to since first setting foot in the Lands Between. The data shared on shows that 197 billion enemies have been felled by players. It&🅷apos;s an astounding number, and according to the publisher's calculations equates to 24 foes defeated for every person on the planet.

What's also interesting is the enemies that players have been killing the most. While you might expect it to be Elden Ring's most common assailants or those that appear earliest in the game, the ones meeting their end at the hand💫s of a Tarnished most frequently are the cute frog-like Albinaurics. The club-wielding variety has been killed a whopping 9.4 billion times, while Albinaurics armed with a curved sword cam🐻e third in the list of most felled enemies with 3.4 million. Putrid Corpses of the magical variety that roam around the graveyard of the Raya Lucaria Academy were second, having been killed 8.9 billion times.

It's a pretty surprising list, but it's not like players have a seething hatred for Albinaurics; rather, their high death count stems from the fact they don't put up much of a fight and drop a generous amount of runes when defeated. Unfortunately for the little guys, this makes them the perfect enemy to farm if you're looking to level up fast. It's certainly not the most moral approach, but if you can li💞ve with the guilt of offing these near-defenceless creatures, it's definitely an effective one.

Elsewhere, the infographic shows that players have participated in nearly 82 million Colosseum battles, while 11.7 million have managed to acquire the Dark Moon 🎃Greatsword. 38.6 million players have regretted their choices and opted to accept rebirth from Rennala to respect their Tarnished. Lastly, 526,843 have sought atonement at the Church of Vows from every🥃body's favourite NPC Turtle Pope.

"The path to becoming Elden Lord is a challenging one," Bandai Namco said, "but many have persevered and can tell the true stori♎es of their battle scars. The Elden Ring community has accomplished so much since the game was first released, yet there is still so much more to experience and explore."

If you're keen to see what all the fuss is about, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:2023 Steam Summer Sale is currently offering 30% off the acclaimed action-RPG.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Bandai 🧔Namco has apologized for a video that prematurely revealed a new character slated t✨o come to Tekken 8.

The developer/publisher has been♒ carefu🦹lly and routinely revealing roster additions ever since the fighting sequel was announced, but it seems as though a gameplay video starring Bryan Fury accidentally went live over the weekend.

Although the publisher moved quickly to take 🔥the video down, it was already too late – the new reveal had been posted and shared right across the internet.

"I apologize to the fans who saw that particular thing in not the way [director Katsuhiro Haﷺrada] and I had wanted it to happen," producer Michael Murray tweeted earlier today (thanks, ).

"🌠I feel bad for all you guys and also the dev team who gave up weekends to work on it."

Harada's tweet wasn&apoꦫs;t quite as measured, though. Though it, too, has since been deleted, the tweet was promptly .

༒"What the xxxx Bandai Namco Euro," the director tweeted. "That's why I warned 💜you years ago not to post on a timer.

"Well, I'm going home now thanks! Hahaha."

Tekken 8's director recently confirmed a slew of new gameplay detailsꦿ, including rollback netcode, character numbers, and cross-play.

Creative lead Katsuhiro Harada answered the curious questions of followers about Tekken 8, including confirmation that Tekken 8 will have cross-play, a feature he's been after since Tekken 7 was released but wasn't able to see the light of day🐭.

Harada also recently compared the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new fighting game sequel to Dark Souls. Disputing the notion𓃲 that fighting games are complex and complicated, he revealed that Tekken 8 feels like a natural evolution of the series in the way that Dark Souls players feel like they want to improve and get better🌠, saying, "people who keep dying over and over are having fun with the game".

Here are all the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games of 2023 (and beyond).

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Blue Protocol, the free-to-play MM🐷O collab between Bandai Namco and Amazon, will no longer launch in 2023 – at least not in the꧂ West.

, the MMO will hit Japan on June 14, but the global version has now slipped into 2024. The game still carries a 2023 release date at the time of writing, but we won't get to play it for ourselves this year without help from an unoffic🅺ial translꩵation and possibly a VPN. At least a closed beta will be held on PC later this year; you can find sign-up information at that blog post.

Blue Protocol is part of a growing line of Amazon-backed MMOs, the most recent addition being the New World studio's Lord of the Rings MMO which is still years away. But this news is particularly painful for yours truly because Blue Protocol is a💯lso the one Amazon MMO I'm actually interested in.

Runescape upbringing aside, I've never been a big MMO player apart from *checks notes* nine years of Destiny, but I have enjoyed a few other MMOs by treating them as single-player RPGs whenever possible. Final Fantasy 14 and Black Desert come to mind here, though I ultimately gave up the former because the social element became too much for me. Ever since its reveal, I've hoped Blue P🐭rotocol might be my next solo-ish MMO adventure, not just because it looks and sounds mighty good, but because it's tailored to my interests almost eerily perfectly.

I won't deny that the anime look is doing some heavy lifting here. Blue Protocol's got a chunky painterly style sitting somewhere be🐟tween Ni No Kuni 2 and Tales of Arise, and I'm into it, especially with a robust-looking character creator to dig into. The post-apocalyptic fantasy world looks positively gorgeous, which is especially good news for me since exploring it on my own is a big part of the appeal here.

Speaking of Tales of Arise, Bandai Namco's invo🐈lvement actually gives me some hope for combat. The company's backlog has some unbelievable stinkers in it, but it also has a lot of solid action RPGs like Code Vein, Scarlet Nexus, God Eater, an🦩d several Tales games which are still some of my favorite JRPGs.

Unlike most MMOs, Blue Protocol has actual action-based combat that instantly looks fast and fun. I'm not hating on tab-target, cooldown-based MMOs, but I know which flavor of combat I prefer. With the game coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X, there's also a chance I can play it from the comfort of my oversized couch, which I alwa𝄹ys appreciate.

Blue Protocol has been quietly simmering ever since its Game Awards announcement, so I'm hoping it picks up some steam as we get closer to its global launch. I'd hoped it might be a dark horse for the year, but I guess I'll hope it surpris⛄es me in 2024 instead.

This MMO turned into an MMO by accident.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> We could be getting a new Little Nightmares game soon as ജpublisher Bandai Namco has quietly revealed it's still working on the spooky IP.

As spotted by Twitter user @, Little Nightmares publisher Bandai Namco is currently hiring a producer assistant to work specifically with the Little Nightmares IP. The mentions the game in the title of the advert, and mentions Little Nightmares several times throughout the job description, pretty much confirming that something is on the way.

Working for Bandai Namco Europe in France, the successful 💙candidate will join the production department dedicated to the company's "headline IP" Little Nightmares. The role itself is a temporary internship that will last just six months, so its responsibilities don't give us much of an idea of what kind of things Bandai Namco is 🍃currently doing with the new project.

The job listing does however expect the post holder to "provide qualitive support to the Little Nightmares production team by reviewing the game on multiple platforms, make comparative playthroughs, liaise with QA, etc." - meaning a game of some kind is at least in the works. This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise as just a couple of weeks ago we reported that the Little Nightmares publisher is working on "what's next" for the series.

You may have noticed that we're yet to mention Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2 developer Tariser Studios in this story, that's because it doesn't look like the studio is working on the series anymore. Back in February 2021, it was revealed that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tarsier had shifted to a new IP via its parent company Embracer Group's financial results for that year. Following this, we've since seen 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:glimpses of Tarsier's next game which, although doesn't seem to be related to Six and Mono's adventures, loo♊✅ks just as spooky.

While we wait for more Little Nightmares news, take a look at our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best horror games list.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Little Nightmares' publisher isꦰ "continuing to work on what's next" for the series.

Earlier today on April 28, Bandai Namco and ♓Tarsier Studios celebrated the sixth anniversary (if you can believe it) of the original Little Nightmares. Whilst also celebrating an astounding 12 million sales for the series at large, Bandai Namco slipped in a little teaser about what they're up to.

"Seeing the community growing over the years has been a blessing," said Lucas Roussel, executive producer of Little Nightmares, in a press release. "When we started Little Nightmares, we thought that we really had something special, but we are still amazed every day by our fans’ commitment to the franchise. We can’t thank them enough for tౠheir dedication and we are continuing to work on what’s next for the franchise."

You don't need to analyze this statement too hard to figure out the really intriguing part. "We are continuing to wor🏅k on what's next for the franchise"ꦇ is all but confirmation that a new Little Nightmares-related project, whether that be a game or something else, is in the works at Bandai Namco.

It's important to remember that developer Tarsier Studios' parent company hinted at the studio being done w🍎ith Little Nightmares back in 2021, insisting they were focused on creating n🌳ew IPs. Bandai Namco apparently owns the rights to the horror series though, ꧋which would mean they can work on Little Nightmares without Tarsier's involvement.

Speaking of Tarsier, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历🍬史查询:the developer shared a look at its new game last month, but confirmed that it definitely wasn't a new Little Nightmares game. The studio said it was part of a new IP, so while i꧃t's sad that Tarsier is putting the excellent🦹 series to rest, we know the developer is cooking up something new that's suitably creepy.

If you're thinking of giving Tarsier's sequel a go, read our glowing 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Little Nightmares 2 review to find out why we deemed it a horror standout.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> To play Elden Ring Colosseum matches and PvP, players can set up matchmaking, public and password-private, at the statues in each Colosseum. Each of the Colosseum statues offers access to a new kind of PvP match, though you can access all of them (after finding their source Colosseum) from the Roundtable Hold afterwards, at the statu💖e next to the fireplace in the central room. With that being said, we'll go over some details below on how to play Elden Ring Colosseum matches, and go over some fundamental tips on how to win.

How to play Elden Ring Colosseum PvP

Elden Ring colosseum

To play the Elden Ring Colosseum PvP matches, simply head to any of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Colosseum locations and go to the main door, which'll have a path in the road leading up to it. There'll be an option to open it, and inside will be a room that looks like a small temple with a large Statue of Marika across from🐬 you. Walk over to it and interact with that - it'll open up a list of options to begin your PvP matchmaking, where you can select what kind of game you want to play. The full list of options include:

 • Combat Format: The kind of match you want to play.
 • Number of players: How many people will be in the game. Keep in mind that this isn't a reference to team size - so picking two players means it'll be two players total, you and one enemy. If you wanted to do 2v2, you'd need to pick four players, counterintuitively.
 • Spirit Ashes: This decides whether you want to let players use 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Summons as part of the match. Prohibited means no Spirit Ashes.
 • Format Details: A quick rundown of the kind of game and combat format you've got currently selected in the menu, including match length and Flask Usage.
 • Colosseum Password: You can do private matchmaking by entering a specific password into this space. All your friends need to do is enter the same password and you should enter the same game.
 • Restrictions (for Private Matchmaking and United Combat): Determines whether the above password is for everybody in the game, or just your team. Picking Allied Team Only means you can form a private team that then gets matched with random players.
 • Desired Team (for Private Matchmaking and United Combat with All Team Restrictions): If you're playing a private team game with only friends on both sides, this is how you choose which of the two teams you want to be on - A or B.
 • Venue: Decides which of the three Colosseum arenas you want to fight in. There's minimal difference between them beyond certain layout and environmental changes.

Once you've picked these options, simply hit "Enter Combat" at the bottom and you'll have a short wait before the game then transports you into the match via a loading screen. Generally it's 10-30 seconds to g🧔et into a match, so nothing too bad. Of course, you'll need to have an internet connection to play, and whatever online subscription your console requires for online play, if you need one.

Elden Ring ♎Colosseum PvP tips and tricks and hoꦯw to win matches

Elden Ring colosseum

To win Elden Ring Colosseum PvP matches, you need to take some basic fundamentals into account with these tips and tricks, which can apply to United Combat, Combat Ordeal and Duel modes, to varying degrees. If you're struggling to rack up kill🌌s on other players, here's some baཧsic advice on how to handle the horrors of the Colosseum.

 • Make sure you're using a proper build. People don't tend to just wander in, they go in ready to fight, with specific builds, weapons and loadouts specifically designed to keep the advantage in PvP. There's many ways to do so and it's more important to be skilled than well-equipped in most cases, but if you want a helping hand, here's our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring PvP builds page for some good places to start.
 • Speed is better than power. Don't get me wrong, doing high damage is great, but players tend to be so fast that slow, heavy hits are unlikely to land at all. If you've been combing through the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring armor locations, you'll want to pick something that doesn't take you into the heavyweight realm, as you'll be a sitting duck. Lightweight is best, but you might be able to work at medium if you've got the right weapons, spells and stats to compensate.
 • Understand magic, even if you don't use it. Magic has been a big part of the meta, especially the more aggressive sorceries, and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring best spells are coming up a lot in combat, usually fast-casting or homing spells designed to harry players and wear them down. Even if you're not a spellcaster, you should recognise the most common spells and how to avoid them, or even have ways to counter them.
 • But actually, use some magic. The reality is that magic is really effective, whether it comes through spells or weapon arts and ashes. Most of the really exploitable builds involve some sort of magic, and even if it's not your main thing, it's good to have something for ranged combat in a pinch, or even just the option to heal or buff yourself.
 • Have your best items and spells easily accessible. We're mainly talking about Flasks (if they're allowed), but this also applies to Spirit Ashes and anything else you can use. Have them attached to the hot-menu (hold Triangle/Y depending on platform/controller), or ready to go on the quick-use item menu. The speed of the combat means that even if you've got items ready to go, you'll need to be very careful about when you use them - players will leap for your throat the moment they realise what you're doing.
 • Fast stunlock weapons rule the meta. Elden Ring has a new meta for the Colosseum, and 𒁏no one likes it - but it's worth understanding nonetheless. The most effective spells and attacks are those that can be rapidly triggered, don't miss easily (such as AOEs) and stagger opponents, as you can just keep doing them to wear down your opponent's defenses. We don't recommend doing this - it's not especially fun - but you should keep it in mind and look for players doing the same thing. If they break out that strategy, fight at a distance and don't let them trap you in that combo.
 • Remember your Flask of Wondrous Physick. It's not just the Flasks of Crimson and Cerulean Tears that you can bring with you (in certain arenas), but the customisable Flask of Wondrous Physick too. It's hard to know what to expect, so go for whatever you think is most universal and likely to help most generally, rather than specific aids like fire resistance.

All these should ultimately give you a higher chance in the arena, though ultimately it's skill and build that'll help you master it. In theory players should get matched with players of equal skill - though that's very much in theory

Read on below as we take you through our list of the ꧒25 best fighting games ar🐬ound.

The best fighting games, starting with...

25. Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO

Developer: Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd.
Platform(s): PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S

Let's be honest: when it comes to the best fictional fighters around, Gokꦦu is the top dog. Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is the latest entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, throwing players into a colorful anime world and letting you blast your way through recognizable villains and characters. While there are some repetitive fighting mechanics, this is the mostღ complete feeling entry in Budokai Tenkaichi's series yet.

It's also packed with content for anime fans, so if you've watched all of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Ball in order, you're in luck because there are over 180 fighters included in the base game. The vi𒐪suals are stunning, and it's never been more fun to blow up your enemi🍒es in-game.

Check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO review for more information!

24. War of the Monsters

(Image credit: War of the Monsters)

Developer: Incognito Entertainment
Platform(s): PS4

Lots of fighting games on this list require patience and a high level of skill to be played at a master level. They require hours of study if you want to become competit♑ive and are taken very seriously. War𓃲 of the Monsters is not one of those games.

This is a big, dumb slugfest between cartoonish monsters, with buildings, vehicles, and pedestrians getting crushed underfoot. Originally released for the PS2 but re-released with an increased resolution and smoother framerate on the PS4, pick this one up to feel like a kid again and have a raucous𒅌, not-too-serious time.

23. DNF Duel

DNF Duel screenshot with a character blasting another with a yellow beam of light.

Developers: Arc System Works, Eighting, Neople
Platform(s): PC, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch

DNF Duel is a 2.5D action fighting game that's a spin-off from the popular RPG Dungeon & Fighter (thus the "DNF" in the name) with a bit of a mixed reception. Compared to many other more popular games inꦰ the genre, com🌃munication has been pretty middling from the developer.

There have also been balance issues, but DNF Duel still offers a very distinct gameplay experience featuring easy-to-use moves that are hard to master. DNF Duel is hard to recommend as a top-ti꧙er choice, but it certainly belongs in the conversation and on our list of the best fighting games.

22. Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes

A screenshot of a fight taking place during one of the best fighting games, Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes.

(Image credit: French-Bread, Arc System Works)

Developer: French-Bread
Platform(s): PC, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch

Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes (sidenote, we're just going to cᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚall it "Under Night" from here on out) is the latest in the serieꦯs of fighting games and its first numbered sequel.

If you're not familiar, the franchise has a passionate audience in the fighting game community thanks to its lovely sprites, catchy tunes, and focus on feet-on-the-ground fighting. The plot is about as hard to follow as its 𒀰title, at least for those new to it, but if you like anime about supernatural beings and ancient secret organizations or stylish anime fighting games, you'll find plenty to enjoy here.

21. Arms

A player punching an enemy with their blue spring arms during one of the best fighting games, Arms.

Developer: Nintendo
Platform(s): Nintendo Switch

Arms is the fighting game for those of you who prefer Wii Sports' take on boxing to tennis or bowling. Using the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con as extensions of your... well, arms, you'll throw real-life hooks, jabs, and uppercuts (at the TVꦜ, not your friend, of course) as you try to outmaneuver and outsmart your op♛ponent.

Customizing your in-game arms will lead to different strategies and power-ups, and the wild character designs are a sight to behold. Of all the games on this list, Arms is probably the most likely to give you an actual workout. It's also easily one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Switch games for fans of the fighting genre.

Read our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Arms review for more information!

20. Pokken Tournament DX

Two Pokemon fighting during one of the best fighting games, Pokken Tournament DX.

Developer: Bandai Namco
Platform(s): Nintendo Switch

If you've ever thought to yourself, "Yeah,𓄧 I like Pokemon, but the turn-based battles just aren't exciting enough for me," then Pokken Tournament DX is exactly what you need. The title is a bit of woꦦrdplay on "Tekken," which Pokken's fights are largely modeled after - that is to say, 3D movement with an emphasis on close-quarters brawling.

While you won't get to play as every Pokemon in the series,🍌 there are lots of fan favorites like Mewtwo, Pikachu, Blaziken, and Gengar to choose from. It occupies a strange niche as a not-quite traditional Pokemon game and not-quite a super co꧋mpetitive fighter, but it's tons of fun to see in action.

If you want to have more Pokemon carnage in your life, read our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokken Tournament review.

19. EA Sports UFC 5

EA Sports UFC 5 screenshot featuring two MMA fighters going at it

Developer: EA Vancouver
Platform(s): PS5, Xbox Series X/S

If you are looking to simulate actual, real-life martial arts combat, there is not much out there of any note beyond EA Sports UFC 5. The ongoing franchise tends to get a lot right, with kicks and punches having an impact ꦦwhile forcing players to constantly evaluate tℱheir strategy on where and when to move in and go for the combo or grapple that will net you a KO.

It's not going to be for everyone, and the incremental updates between versions are not going to be to everyone's taste, but if this is your thing, EA Sports UFC 5 is the latest and greatest version of it. We also recommend this one for players who love checking out the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best sports games around.

18. Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite

Thor fighting an enemy during one of the best fighting games, Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.

Developer: Capcom
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One

While criticized harshly for its character visuals (which are... not great) and simplified mechanics, Marvel vs♑. Capcom Infinite still adds some worthwhile wrinkles to the MvC formula - the biggest of which are the Infini⛄ty Stones from the Marvel Comics universe.

Each stone has different effects, which can drastically alter your strategy, and the franchise-spanning roster features plenty of fan favorites. This is a 2v2 rather than 3v3 fighter, and there aren't any assists from your partner this go-round either, so overall, it's a bit more restrictive than the series' previous entry. Still, check this title out before 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Marvel Rivals.

17. Dead or Alive 6

Developer: Team Ninja
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One

The Dead or Al꧋ive series is a bit of a black sheep in the fighting game community, as some find it shallow and too focused on cheesecake (that is, hi🌱ghlighting the sexual appeal of its cast) to be taken seriously.

Even so, Dead or Alive 6 is a more-than-competent fighter taken on its own merits with a st✃rong sense of style on top 🌸of generally engaging, albeit sometimes difficult to master, combat. However, we promise that once you give this title a chance, you'll be hooked. It's an underrated gem and rightfully deserves to be on our list of the best fighting games around right now.

16. BlazBlue: Central Fiction

A fight between two characters during BlazBlue CENTRALFICTION Special Edition.

Developer: Arc System Works
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch

With a roster comprised of demon girls, hulking behemoths, shapeshifting and⛄roids, and some stuౠff that only gets a whole lot weirder from there, BlazBlue is one of the fighting game community's more eclectic games of choice. What helps separate BlazBlue from its competitors is the "Drive" button.

Every character's Drive function is unique, from helping them regain lost HP to trapping opponents in ice. Learning what makes each character tick is key to victo🦄ry. While it's been a minute since a new mꦅainline release, if you're looking for something outside the Street Fighter and Tekken norms, BlazBlue is worth checking out.

15. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

A screenshot of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, one of the best fighting games.

Developer: Arc System Works
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch,

Follow this logic: the Persona games are a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a sequel to Persona 4 Arena, which is itself a spin-off of Persona 4. So this is a sequel to a spin-off of a spi𝐆n-off.

And yet, it's clear that developer Arc System Works put serious love and care into translating the characters from the Persona RPGs into a fighting game, and there's a great sense of balanc🔥e and intricacy to combat. You'll have even more fun if you're already familiar with Persona, but even if you haven't played through the series, this is a solid fighter with a unique and memorable cast.

14. Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown screenshot featuring two characters fighting

Developer: Sega
Platform(s): PS4

The Virtua Fighter series was one of the first to define 3D fighting games, way back on the Sega Saturn. While it has admittedly somewhat fallen out of favor, possibly due to its more toned-down nature - you won't find any robots or monsters here - that doesn't mean it isn't stiꦿllꦇ great.

There's a strong focus on input precision and making counterplays, which helps Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown feel like one of the deeper 3D fighters out there. It may not be flashy, but its focus on nailing combat flow and balance more✅ than makes up for that. The REVO release also brought the fighter to PC in 2025.

13. The King of Fighters 15

Developer: SNK
Platform(s): PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S

King of Fighters 15 might not get the flowers it deserves when directly compared to other long-lasting fighting game franchises, but SNK still knows how to craft a su🃏perb fighter that understands its legacy while still trying to keep up with the times.

With a rollback neᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚtcode and a good roster, King of Fighters 15 makes a strong impression that generally puts it above many others. Even when you go back to replay this game, you'll be surprised how slick and fun it is. Again, this is an entry that is generally underrated and needs to be on your radar if you haven't played it yet.

12. Killer Instinct (2013)

Best fighting games

Developer: Iron Galaxy
Platform(s): PC, Xbox One

The surprise revival of Killer Instinct was one of the last console generation's earliest treats.🍰 A cult favorite since its days in the arcade and at home on the Genesis and SNES, the game has an edgy, exaggerated style about it you can't help but love.

Fights are almost always very close and borderline claustrophobic, but never stiff or boring. Anyone can rack up massive combos in Killer Instinct, but only those who know its intricacies▨ will be able to capitalize on them. And with special guest characters like Rash from Battletoads and General Raam from Gears of War, it's one of the most unique fighters around. C-c-c-c-combo breaker!

11. Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive screenshot showcasing two fighters

Developer: Arc System Works
Platform(s): PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One

Guilty Gear set the tone for Arc System Works fighters, and Guilﷺty Gear Strive continues to carry the mantle: it's fast and bombastic, with some of the most ridiculous characters ever𒈔 put to the screen, and it is, for lack of a better term, a bit weird.

It's also quite the spectacle to look at, with characters technically rendered as 3D models but so finely detailed and animated they look like hand-drawn anime ce꧟ls. So, with fast-paced fighting sequences and stunning visuals, wha🌄t's not to love here?

10. Skullgirls 2nd Encore

A screenshot of one of the best fighting games, Skullgirls 2nd Encore.

Developer: Reverge Labs
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One

An extremely fast and frenetic fighter, Skullgirls could be likened to a Western 🍌take on games like BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. You can mix and match teams of🗹 one, two, or three characters, and the well-rounded cast of characters that clearly stand apart from each other will encourage you to try every one.

An extensive tutorial will help you learn the ropes, and the active community will be✅ waiting to take you on. What helps Skullgirls stand out, though, is just how fun it is to watch - the hand-drawn art style is gorgeous, and the presentation is exciting. You're gonna have fun with this one.

9. Soul Calibur 6

A screenshot of Soul Calibur 6, one of the best fighting games.

Developer: Bandai Namco
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One

A tale of swords and souls, eternally retold... Soul Calibur 6 may have only just arrived on the scene, but it's already setting longtime fans alight with excitement. The definiti꧑ve weapons-based fighter, the Soul Calibur series struggled to find its footing for a while but seems to have come home with SC6, which echoes the beloved Soul Calibur 2.

The new Reversal Edge mechanic gives combatants more options while returning features like Critical Edge provide flashy, powerful moves that let you unleash devastation on your foes. And then there's the incredibly robust 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:character creator...

8. Injustice 2

A screenshot of Injustice 2, one of the best fighting games.

Developer: NetherRealm Studios
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One

If there's one thing Injustice 2 nails, it's presentation. From the word go, you'll be immersed into the world of DC Comics, and a stellar single-player campaign (seriously, it's a fighting game with a really good story) will keep you going for hours. Once you've finished with thaജt, a world of finely-tuned battles against AI or online players awaits.

And in a unique twist, completing the game's challenges will𒆙 earn you pieces of gear that you can use to not only change the look of your chosen fighter but alter their stats as well. It's an incredibly deep experience, and you shouldn't be surprised to lose tr𒁃ack of time with this fabulous fighter.

7. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

A screenshot of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, one of the best fighting games.

Developer: Capcom
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One

Ultimate Marvel vs✱. Capcom 3 might be one of the most button-masher-friendly games on this list, but that doesn't mean it's shallow. Instead of memorizing combos and worrying about being ultra-precise with your inputs, Ultimate MvC3 is all about making the most of your special abilities and your partners.

Each fight is a 3v3 affair, with one character on screen at a time until players call in their partners for an assist or screen-filling super move. And if you start to fall behind, the X♓-Factor mechanic can help you turn what looks to be sure defeat around. It's chaotic, it's loud, it's colorful,⭕ and it's fun as hell.

Check out our Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds review for more.

6. Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

A screenshot of the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, one of the best fighting games.

Developer: Capcom
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Yes, this is something of a cheat to pick, as it's not one single game, but rather twelve squeezed into one package. But don't worry, this collection doesn't appear soꦺ close to the top of this list because of sheer quantity, as it also includes two of the very best and most-revered fighting games of all time: Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

The former is credited with helping revolutionize and lay the foundations for the genre, while the latter is one of the tightest, most beautiful sprite-based 2D fighters you'll ever enjoy. And with Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, you don't need to choose. There is also a new 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stre𝔉et Fighter movie coming out soon, so now is the best time to revisit this c🐲lassic.

5. Mortal Kombat 1

Developer: NetherRealm Studios
Platform(s): PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mortal Kombat 1 is finally here with its new era, and that comꦓes with a new set of reimagined versions of classic characters in addition to a robust Kameo system on top of the usual combos and fatalities.

It's all the blood and gore of Mortal Kombat with some clever changes to somehow make it feel truly new all these years l🥂ater. And all it took was Liu Kang essentially becoming the master of reality. If you haven't played any Mortal Kombat✨ game before, this is also a great entry point. So don't be afraid to check out this sequel!

4. Dragon Ball FighterZ

A screenshot of Dragon Ball FighterZ, one of the best fighting games.

Developer: Arc System Works
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One

While the uninitiated might think Dragon Ball FighterZ to be little more than 🤡a shallow fan service game, it's proven to be much more than that, and has quickly become a hit within the fighting game community. The winks and nods to DBZ fans are n൩ice, but what fighting game aficionados will appreciate is the depth present in FighterZ's mechanics.

It's a blistering♏ly fast game (probably the fastest on this list) that favors aggression and rush-down tactics, but if you can wrap your head around the finer points of its 3v3 tag-team battles, you're sure to come away pleased.

3. Tekken 8

Developer: Bandai Namco
Platform(s): PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S

Our own review of Tekken 8 unequivocally states that we are "in the Golden Age for fighting games, and Tekken is the king." Put simply, the most recent sequel is the best Tekken game to 🦩date, with significant depth, reworked onboarding, and excellent visuals.

While the game's movelists are certainly intimidating when viewed as a whole, it remains difficult not to recommend Tekken 8 given how well it handles just about everything else. Seriously, do yourself a favor and make sure you check out one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best games of 2024 as soon as you can.

2. Street Fighter 6

Developer: Capcom
Platform(s): PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S

There's a reason why people immediately think of Street Fighter whenever "fighting game" enters the conversation. As one o༺f (if not the) most technical fighters on ♈the market, it demands precision, patience, and strategy.

And 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Street Fighter 6 absolutely continues this legacy with further iteration on what was already a unique visual flourish to set the franchise apart. If you can 𓃲get past the tacked-on monetization e🅺fforts, there's a jam-packed package at its heart.

1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

A screenshot of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, one of the best fighting games ever made.

Developer: Nintendo
Platform(s): Nintendo Switch

While there will always be a contingent of purists who refuse to play anything other than Melee, make no mistake - Smash’s Switch outing is one of the best fighters ever released. Doing aw💫ay with the hugely unbalanced roster of the series’ Wii U outing, Ultimate sees Smash at its chaotic best. Boasting a jaw-dropping 80 fighters to choose from, including third-party legends Like Sephiroth and Ryu, Ultimate feels like a celebration of video games as a whole.

Featuring the return of a hefty adventure mode in the form of the RPG-leaning World of Light, Ultimate is pure joy. Whether you’re a casual player or a pro, there really is something for everyone. In fact, Ultimate not only lays claim to being🍒 one of the greatest fighting games of the HD era, but arguably even one of the best games of all time.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> If your favorite activity in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons was fishing, then we may have the perfect follಌow-up game for you.

Despite not being linked to Animal Crossing at all, or even being a Nintendo IP, this soon-to-be-released fishing game has a few similarities to Nintendo's island getaway game. As pointed out by , Ace ꦛAngler: Fishing Spirits is an upcoming Bandai Namco game that bares a striking resemblance to Animal Crossing: New Horizoꦕns.

Just in case it wasn't obvious enough, the main similarities between the two games can be seen in the playable charaꦦcter designs. Just like in Animal Crossing, in Ace Angler players can customize their own characters with a range of hairstyles, eye shapes, outfits, and accessories. You'll have to see it for yourself in the trailer below to fully understand how similar the two game's character desiꦗgns are.

The likeness isn't just limited to people either, as later on in the trailer we see a model of a🃏 whale shark which looks pretty similar to how the marine creature appears in Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Critterpedia. In the game, players will contribute to a large aquarium - just like in Animal Crossing - and there's even a coelacanth floating around in one of the tanks in the trailer. Coincidence? I think not!

Other than thi🍬s though, Ace Angler does have a number of unique features in it as well. For starters, it doesn't really play much like Animal Crossing. Instead of living their best island life, players are instead thrown into a number of chaotic-looking mini-games which take place at an aquarium-themed theme park. There's also a number of fiercer-looking predators to be caught in this game including what looks like the prehistoric creature the Mosasaurus.

If you now want to try out Ace Angler: Fishing Sಞpirits for yourself, you'll be able to pick it up for Nintendo Switch from October𓃲 28, 2022.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Legendary Elden Ring player Let Me Solo Her has been gifted an actual sword commemorating a recent milestone: 𝕴1,000 dead Malenias.

The tireless Tarnished has come to the defense of countless folks struggling with Malenia, widely considered 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the toughest boss in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring. Recently, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Let🏅 Me Solo Her crossed 1,000 🥃Malenia kills, and it seems Bandai Namco took notice.

In a tweet, Let Me Solo Her (TsuboiKlein on Twitter), shared some shots of an Elden Ring-themed package they apparently received from Bandai Namco. The goodie box includes a personalized congratulations from the developers, a plaque, ♑a map, and a sword brandished with the phrase, "Rise, tarnished."

"I can still remember my first experience with the soulsborne series and almost quitting becauಞse of Iudex Gundyr in Dark souls 3," reads the player's tweet. "I'm glad I persisted and went on to enjoy the game, because this community is one of the most passionate and dedicated people I've everಞ seen in a game, and I'm proud to be a part of it."

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Let🍷 Me Solo Her has already b🌜een immortalized in countless pieces of fan art, but it's good to see some recognition from the developers themselves. I'm just curious how big that freakin' sword is - there aren't any objects nearby for comparison, but it looks like it spans a good deal of the bed it's resting on. A👍t the very least, it looks like a three-quarter scale model, which should make for one hell of a conversation piece when it's (hopefully) mounted on a wall in Let Me Solo Her&apo🗹s;s home.

In case you missed it, another Elden Ring player recently turned every enemy into Malenia and, somehow, still beat the game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Bandai Na🐽mco is currently hiring staff to work on a remaster commissioned by Nintendo, recent job listings have revealed.

Originally pointed out on , one observant user noticed that Bandai Namco Studios is hiring for a few roles at its Tokyo studio. All of the job listings feature the phrases "3D action game", "commissioned by Nintendo", with one of them also featuring the words "HD♎ remaster."

Unfortunately, these are the only clues we h🥀ave so far as to what Bandai Namco could be working on for Nintendo as the rest of the job listings don’t mention ๊anything else that could be a clue.

The fact Bandai Namco is working on a Nintendo IP isn’t actually that surprising. A quick look at their past works on the reveals that the developer/publisher has previously also worked on a number of Nintendo games including New Po🔴kemon Snap, Mario Kart Tour, ARMS,♒ Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and even Mario Kart 8.

We could spend all day guessing what game Nintendo wants remastered and still not be any closer to finding💜 out the truth. So at least for now, we’ll have to settle on speculating.

This is exactly what other users have done on the same Resetera thread. According to the comments, fans are thinking it co🐠uld perhaps be something to do with Starfox, Metroid Prime, Kid Icarus, and even The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - but nothing is for certain right now.

In other Nintendo news, the Super Mario studio has recently announced plans for a new office located in Kyoto, Japan, conveniently right next to Nintendo’s current headquarters. In a press release sent out yesterday, Nintendo said that the new building will work as a development center wit💛h 12 floors inside of it. It’s expected to be ready for employees by December 2027.

10. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Link looking over Hyrule during Breath of the Wild

Developer: Nintendo
Platform(s):
Nintendo Switch

A lot of the mechanics in Genshin Impact borrow heavily from the Nintendo Switch smash hit, from the effect of different elemental attacks to the ability to knock together delicious meals from ingredients you find in the world. There's gliding, too, and puzzles littered throughout Teyvat, just like in 澳洲幸运5开奖号ꩵ码历史查询:The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Of course, Zelda comes with the added bonus of just having onꦓe hero to worry about instead of a team of expanding characters and that old Nintendo magic.

Naturally, The Legend of 🍎Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be a fantastic alternative to Genshin Impact, too, but the vertical maps and building mechanics give it quite a different feel. You'll spend far more time soaring through the sky and far less time climbing slippery rocks here - though we have to admit that an ascend-through-any-ceiling ability would be most welcome in both Genshin Impact and B🔥reath of the Wild.

You play as Fenyx, a young hero who finds ♑themselves in a land where her friends have been turned to stone and monsters like harpies and gorgons and having a grand old time.

You can explore the world by climbing, flying, and racing around on various mounts, and there's crafting, challenges, and a bunch of crazy g𒀰ods to deal with.

8. Honkai: Star Rail

Developer: miHoYo

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Honkai: Star Rail is one of the best games like Genshin Impact, an🌳d chances are, you've already heard of it. Created by the same studio, Honkai: Sta🦂r Rail is a JRPG that features similar gacha-style gameplay with all the vivid characters and madcap antics you'd expect from Genshin.

It's the first turn-based game from miHoYo, and paired with some dynamic QOL changes; the refined formula has made Star Rail a breakout success among Genshin fans. It recently launched on PS5 following a very successful mobile and PC rele♎ase, so if you've been on the fence about trying it out, now is as good a time as any to get stuck in.

Do you want cute JRPG adventuring? Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom has it by the adorable bucketload and wouldn't look out of place at Studio Ghibli. (The first game in the series was actually made in co☂llaboration with the legendary animation studio, and the look lives on in the sequel.)

As well as the usual JRPG quests and combat, this game comes with a Pokemon-style system of Higgledies, little creatures you can collect in the world and call to your aide in battle. Ni No Kuni 2 also packs ♚in kingdom management, letting you upgrade key buildings and staff them with NPCs you meet in the world, and a chibi-style battle system.

If ramꦓpaging through a magical world witꦇh a gang of heroes, visiting towns, and smashing up slimes get your heart racing, Dragon Quest 11 will give you hours and hours of questing and JRPG goodness. The game follows the story of a legendary hero called the Luminary and an evil sorcerer.

There are errands to run, weapons to buy, NPCs to banter endlessly with, and all delivered in the appealing Dragon Quest art style. Recently given a polish for newer consoles, there's a retro 2D visual mode for anyone who wants to pretend they're a🍷 time traveler.

4. Tales of Arise

A screenshot of Tales of Arise

Developer: Bandai Namco
Platform(s): PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X

If you're looking to sink your teeth into a massive, stylish RPG, then you need not look much further than Tales of Arise. It has many of the same components as Genshin Impact, albeit presented in an entirely differe🍷nt way – an awesome open world to explore, deep RPG mechanics, great character building, and even a little resource gathering.

Tales of Arise will keep you bus🅰y for a couple of weeks, so this is definitely one to play when you have a lot of time to kill.

3. Infinity Nikki

Nikki on a magic bike in the air during one of the best games like Genshin Impact, Infinity Nikki.

Developer: Papergames
Platform(s): PC, PS5, iOS, Android

The magical world of Infinity Nikki is like Genshin Impact but infinitely cuter. That's not a dig at Genshin, mind you, as it would be impossible to compete with the pastel-colored Miraland and its abundance of ridiculously fluffy animals on that front. It also helps that there's no fighting in Infinity Nikki; just exploring, shopping, dog grooming (yes, you can pet the animals here), and friendship-forging. As a bonus, ꦕInfinity Nikki offers something Genshin doesn't have - the ability to dress up your characters.

If you're wondering whether this game is a bit… well, tame, compared to Teyvat, you are totally right, but that's its strength; with Infinity Nikki, you get all the wholesomeness of Genshin Impact, but in a cozy, feel-good format. On top of the anime visuals, you will undoubtedly find the lush forests, picturesque villages, epic mountains, and odd windmi꧟lls or two reminiscent of Teyvat, especially the Mondstadt region.

2. Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves

Developer: Kuro Games
Platform(s): PC, PS5, iOS, Android

Let's give you a game as similar to Genshin Impact as possible without being Genshin Impact: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Wuthering Waves. Four years after the world of Teyvat arrived, Kuro Games introduced the post-apocalyptic realm of Solaris-3, where you take on the role of Rover, an overpowered amnesiac trapped in a strange new๊ world - but without losing their sibling. From there on, you can meet quirky characters, explore a vast open world, buil🗹d the best teams, and beat countless bosses.

If you're willing to make the jump, don't expect WW's animation and character design to be quite as good🤪 as Genshin's, or the story to be quite as engaging. On the plus side, many players consider Wuthering Waves' combat superior because it requires more creativity and better timing. If that doesn't convince you yet, then hear this: in Wuthering Waves, you don't have to rely on a tedious climbing mechanic that makes you want to deinstall the whole thing - grappling hooks and wall-running all the way!

Coming from the studio behind Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero is a rather obvious but unmissable recommendation. There are some differences between this newer🌟 miHoYo game and Genshin Impact, most notably the futuristic setting and the dungeon-diving gameplay as opposed to Genshin's open world, but there are plenty of similarities in its visual style, anime characters, character-swapping combat, and lore-rich storytelling. Like Teyvat, entrance to Zenless' world of New Eridu is free, but don't expect to collect all of its residents and their equipment without spending money - ZZZ is also a gacha game, after all.

Before diving into this urban fantasy, be warned that Zenless Zone Zero is more of an acquired taste compared to Genshin, as it doesn't allow as much freedom and exploration opportunities. Its roguelike elements can feel a tad repetitive (a system which, by the way, has 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:received some upgrades since), buꦯt you 🥃do get top-notch action animation and breathtaking cutscenes in return.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ in Bandai-namco ]]> Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware hope to see the open-world action-RPG "broaden the fanbase" establishe📖d by the Dark Souls series.

Hervé Hoerdt, senior vice president of digital marketing and content at Bandai Namco, to🍨uched on Elden Ring's goals in a rec🌳ent interview with .

"With Dark Souls, it went from a very competitive niche audience to something that went really broad," he says of the Souls series, which was started by Demon's Souls, a comparatively niche PS3 title. "I wouldn't say mainstream, but it wasn't far from that. And the idea for 🍌Elden Ring is to bring an even bigger audience. It is super big for us. It is super big for From Software. We are working very closely with Japan. We have three people dedicated to the franchise over here across Europe."

As the spiritual successor to one of the most recognizable a𓆉nd successful RPG series of the past decade and a bit, Elden Ring has some heavy expectations on its shoulders. Naturally, its publisher and developer hope to see it find a big audience. However, more than the obvious sentiment of 'publisheඣr hopes game does well', Hoerdt's comments reflect a conscious push for Elden Ring to go beyond the hardcore players that Dark Souls has traditionally catered to.

FromSoftware's Yasuhiro Kitao previously explained that, with Elden Ring in particular, the studio hopes to see "all sorts of players" enjoy and clear the game, not just Souls diehards. Elden Ring wasn't designed to be explicitly easier, but FromSoftware did strive to "create and prepare a wide variety of options that players who are not so inclined can use, to enjoy the game and to experience that sense of accomplishment just like those har൩dened veterans."

Kitao's comments echoed remarks from director Hidetaka Miyazaki, who stressed that while Elden Ring is probably about as hard as Dark Souls 3, its more in-depth character customization provides more builds, play styles, and💜, essentially, solutions for the challenges in the game.

"From Software and Bandai Namco has this desire to broaden the fanbase, so we have big ambitions," Hoerdt adds. "But I feel what we are 𝓡making is going to please a lot of people, and that's the most important thing. That is what we want. We're not just business people. We want to bring something fun and unique t🅺hat will please millions of people."

Elden Ring is reportedly in the "final stages of development", so its January release date looks solid.
