"One bi💦g part of our Expanse experience is [conveying] that space is a ver𝔍y dangerous and unwelcoming place to be," Alexander Mishulin tells .
There's a lot that can kill y🐟ou in the show and books; a g-force-induced stroke while engaged in a space battle; the alien Protomolecule; running out of oxygen; other people; and a whole host of mishaps that could befall you.
Part of the game I'm most excited for is being a Belter. You can choose an origin between the exploited asteroid dwellers, the stuck-up Earthers, or the technologically-advanced and ideological Mars born. Apparently, your origin will affect how others react to you, but you'll also get a chance to choose which side of the political web you want to be on, so y🍸ou could betray your people. I'd never betray the Be♎lt, though.
Just like Mass Effect, you'll get to take two companions with you on each mission to assist. The trailer shows this off really well, with one piloting a combat drone and another wielding a ballistic shield, shoulder-mounted weapon, and some sort of jetpack that turns the shield into a battering ram. They're also clearly from different parts o𒊎f the solar system, showing your crew won't all be denizens of the same planet.
"I'm not saying we are taking something from, say, Persona 5, but the approach, the idea that characters are front and center of the story and how they evolve all through the story up until the end is a little bit similar," Mishulin says. The Mass Effect 5 director has already given it his seal of approval.
The crewmates you don't take by your side won't just chill on your customizable ship, though. They'll ꧙help out and complete ot♛her mission objectives, maybe even going in as secondary support teams, Mishulin says.
As well as the chara𒉰cter-driven story, the way you build and play your character is inspired by Soulslikes. "The RPG system is very open, allowing you to build whatever character you like," Mishulin explains. "It's part of our vision of the game to allow you to experiment and find things you l✤ike."
The aim is to make you consider which weapons work with your build and abilities so that you'll figure out what works best for how you've designed your character. The choices you make will also be impactful. The game is set after the f🌊irst season o🌌f the TV show and the first book.
"You will be seeing with your own eyes the repercussions of Holden's actions, all the sit🍷uations like The Canterbury, and how it affects people in the belt, people in the inner planets," Mishulin says. "You will be having your own adventure with your own goals, choices, consequences in the same universe [with] all the major events unfolding in this universe alongside your story."
𒁏Now, there's a whole solar system with lots of action in it, but I am con❀cerned with just how impactful our choices will really feel given the game will assumedly have to eventually go in the same direction as the show and books. We'll have to wait for a future trailer or demo to find out more.

Another calls back to FromSoftware's Sekiro, , "M💧y name is Gyoubou Masataka Oniwa." He was one of the first bosses in the gam🐲e and would run rings around you on horseback. He was a deceptively easy boss to beat though, he just looked scary. It seems that the Darkdrift Knight actually has the bite to back up his bark, though.
"Oh no," was all one terrified player could manage to . "Time to learn guardian so I can last five seconds of his second phase instead of two," another. Depending on who you ask, the Guardian is either the best or the worst Nightfarer to use. If🦋 y🍸ou learn to play as a tanky supporter as the role is made to be, you should be grand.

]]>"Will the random occurring events/quests be never ending?" one fanꦚ asks Borderlands 4 creative director Graeme Timmins on Twitter. "Ye෴s, contracts found at bounty boards around Kairos will always provide contracts to pick up and engage," he replies.
Thanks, as simple as the BL1 missions tended to be, they were satis🐬fying to complete in groups. That kind of 2 birds, 1 stone idea of mission pacing became harder to design/account for as we upped our mission game (dialog fighting, complexity of ob꧙jectives).
Apart from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Skyrim's Thieves Guild jo𝓀bs, I'm not a big fan of radiant quests, but long-time fans of the Borderlands franchise may take a shine to these contracts because Timmins adds, "They remind me of the simpler missions from [Borderlands 1]ꦆ. These are great to have as you'll often complete them when doing other activities naturally (killing enemies for example)."
I suppose if your contract is to go out and kill someone, then you do a story mission that sends you into an area where you subsequently turn a bunch of enemies into lead holders, you'll end up completing the contract꧙s purely by chance. That way you get their rewards without feeling like you're grinding them.
One fan tweets that "simple pick-up-and-play side activities" are what the Borde♎rlands ꦕseries has been missing, and Timmins has an explanation for where they've gone.

]]>"Hey guys, wanted to confirm that📖 Photo Mode will be c🐈oming to Borderlands 4," creative director Graeme Timmins says in . "It'll be a feature that we add in an update after the game launches." The official Gearbox account has reiterated the same message.
We've seen some discussion on Photo Mode in Borderlands 4:This feature will be added in an update after lau☂nch! //t.co/x221zcG4F4
It's unclear exactly where the idea that the game wouldn't have photo mode came from, but it became a talking point among the fandom on social media this week. For , it's a critical tool for slowing down and zooming in on your damage numbers - though Gearbox says there will beꦺ better ways to evaluate your DPS - and the🌞 implication it might be missing was enough to get to trying to mod the feature in.
In the end, mods won't be necessary after all. But why is photo mode getting delayed from the game's initial launch? "I had us pri🌺oritize polishing some other elements, more core to the moment-to-moment experience," Timmins says in a . "We've always planned for it, and had it tasked up, we just needed to spend a bit more time on things that would directly imꦦpact QoL of playing the game."
]]>澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gearbox's Borderlands series has always been chock-full of violence and crass writing filled to the brim with c꧅ringey humor and pop culture references, and from the looks of things the series is set to continue down that path. The ESRB has released and revealed some of the more grisly details about the game, which has unsurprisingly given it a "Mature" rating for "Blood and Gore", "Intense Violence", "Sexual Themes", and "Strong Language."
This time around G𝔉earbox is upping the ante on the gore effects, as the description notes "enemies bursting into chunks of gore and/or losing limbs," "creatures exploding into large blood-splatter effects," "a character snapping their own neck," and "characters stabbed or impaled." Plus the game's environments will be littered with "corpses, large bloodstains, and severed limbs."
And if you 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:didn't like Borderlands humour before, don't hold your breath, as the ESRB has also revealed a gauntlet of sex jokes that 14 year olds and Randy Pitchford🐽 are going to find funny, such as "Start a weird robot sex commune"; "New position! Heh. Like sex"; "Liꦍght as a feather, stiff as a whore"; "Have you seen my penis strap?" With sex toys also littering part of the world.
And of course, you have to have the pop culture references, with what seems to be a take on the iconic ending of the underrated comedy classic Clue, "…I'm gonna go home and have sex with my wife." Worst of all, just 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:like with Death Stranding 2, ESRB has revealed "The word “f**k” appearꦚs in the game."
]]>Developed by S-Game, Phantom Blade Zero puts players into the shoes of an assassin, and in a new statement from its creator (as well as CEO of S-Game) Soul༒frame Liang, it's acknowledgꦏed that when the game was "first announced, people thought it was a 'Soulslike.' After all, it seemed to feature interconnected maps, hidden secrets, and those sigh-of-relief checkpoints."
Although the devs since made it clear that this isn't the case – something we also found out in our own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:hands-on preview last year – that didn't stop further misconceptions. "Later, after we released some combat demo, people noticed that the pace was clearly much faster than Soulslike titles – it must be a 'hack and slash' game, like Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden," Liang continues, ⛄before going to renounce the idea of his game falling into either category.
"'Genre' is a label based on stereotypes. It helps players who are familiar with classic titles quickly build a frame of reference and form reasonable expectations. However💝, Phantom Blade Zero is neither a Soulslike game nor a traditional action game."
So What Is Phantom Blade Zero?A developer’s 𒀰letter from Soulframe — CEO of S-GAME, Cre🥀ator of Phantom Blade Zero pic.twitter.com/kVTvFE4quv
Liang says he's "always admired the c𝔍reators who defied these genres. I spent years immersed in their work, drawing inspiration and learning from their brilliance."
It sounds like he's learned plenty, as it appears that he and the tea๊m at S-Game inadvertently ended up creating something unique with Phan💮tom Blade Zero. He notes: "In the process of making this game, we stumbled onto a path we never expected:
"At first, we just wanted to make a game that brought 'hack and slash'🐲 into a multi-layered map. But once the animations and environmental assets came together, everything was 'stitched together' by a strong cultural aesthetic – creating something that felt deeply familiar to us, yet is rarely seen or experienced in games."
Liang then points to the long history of "Chinese kung fu and the spirit of Xia," noting that "across different historical periods, they've always managed to find new forms of expression – and within those forms, cre𒁏ated distinct genres of their own." He gives the example of "kung fu films, Wuxia films, or martial arts films" which became known as their own distinct branch from the broader action genre from the 1960s onwards.
"Likewise, Phantom Blade Zero is not exactly a 'Soulslike' game or a traditional 'action game,'" he continues. "Broadly speaking, it f𒁃alls under the category of ARPGs. But more specifically – maybe it could create a new identity that is Wuxia Actio🐠n Games?"
S-Game is hosting an in-person preview event for Phantom Blade Zero in Beijing next month, which it hopes will give players "a ๊clearer glimpse of the game's core experience." What's more, Liang reiterates that the plan is to "officially announce the launch date before 2025 runs out," so here's hoping we get some more news soon.
]]>Physical ranged attacks - the kind that use bows and arrows rather than magic staffs - are not new to FromSoftware's soulslike catalogue, but it's rare that they've been a major factor. If I asked you to picture Dark Souls, I'd wager that you're more likely to conjure an image of an a♋rmored, greatsword-wielding, Berserk-style fighter, rather than a nimble archer.
Personally, however, I generally enjoy playing ranged characters over melee, and while I'd never try and fight my way through Undead Burg with a bow, I was pleasantly surprised to see Ironeye feature in the Night🦄reign roster ahead of launch. With a couple of allies to soak up the brunt of the fighting, I could see the value in being that nimble archer, sitting off at a distance to harry major bosses, using my speed to steer clear of trouble if it came my way.
And I was proven right. Our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign character tier list has Ironeye right at the top. Elsewhere, I've seen him considered a mainstay of successful runs, and he𝐆ard tell of builds that rely on a 'single tank, double ranged' setup as one of the most effective trios you can approach Nightreign with. So what's the problem? Ironeye is a meta mainstay that fits the kind of character I like to play as. You'd assume I'd be rampaging around Limveld, sniping happily from the sidelines. Trouble is, you'd be wrong, because I find Ironeye tear-jerkingly boring to play.
We've rounded up the best 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like Elden Ring for you to sink your dex builds into next
When I play Dark Souls, I do so to feel the thrill of beating a boss after having dodge-rolled around for 30 minutes beforehand. When I play 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring, I'm looking for the rush of cutting down a towering foe while holding onto a mere sliver of health. I play these games because of their sense of heart-pounding, sweaty-handed action, because a clutch dodge-roll feels ama꧋zing, because I'm David and I've defeated Goliath.
In other words, when I play Dark Souls or Elden Ring, I do not do so to spend several minutes at the side of a fight pressing the same button over and over a🤡gain. I do not play them in order to turn tail and flee whenever a boss so much as looks at me funny. I also do not play them for my gameplay options to differ between firing one arrow, firing three arrows, firing one big arrow, or firing one extremely big arrow.
I know there's a little more to the Ironeye than that, but it doesn't really feel like it for most of a run. I know that I can choose to wield a melee weapon, but if I were to do that, why would I bother to play Ironeye instead of Wylder, who I actually get to have fun with? Granted, the answer to th⛎at question is 'because it might help you win', but I simply don't see the value in that - sure, I get to beat a troublesome boss by exploiting the meta, but if I have to not enjoy myself for 30 minutes first, why am I even playing Nightreign?
Whether or not Elden Ring or Dark Souls games 🔥are 'fun' is a matter of personal opinion. But even if you don't enjoy the ways in which FromSoft stacks its chips against its players, there's little denying that its games are deeply engaging moment to moment. Even as Nightreign's multiplayer focus turns away from the rhythms of a traditional soulsborne formula, it maintains the arresting, all-consuming challenge of diving between the swipes of some towering, bestial foe. Which is why it feels so odd to abandon those rhythms in favorᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ of Ironeye's repetitive, plodding plucking of a bowstring.
My anti-Ironeye agenda started because one of those towering, bestial foes was g🥃iving my team so much grief that we wondered if we were missing some secret mechanic. As it turns out, it's just a skill issue, a still-devastating but painfully-relevant 'git gud'. The more effective strategy was always at our fingertips, and we even tried it out on꧙ce, only to find that we weren't having any fun even before Sentient Pest sent us back to the roundtable. If anything, our decision to shun Ironeye has made our attachment to Wylder, Raider, and Executioner even stronger - if soulslikes are games about eventual mastery in the face of overwhelming odds, it only feels appropriate that we'd learn to win on our own terms, rather than spamming R1 until we hit a cheapened victory screen.

]]>In its Neverness to Everness developer Hotta Studio of Perfect World Games outlined some of the additions and improvements made since the game's previous technical test. A more open "Containment Test" beta launchܫes on July 3, ending on July 16, with .
Lighting and rendering have been polished to make environments and characters look more natural, Hotta demonstrated in side-by-side comparisons. This comes into play in newly added chunks of the city as well as the expanded, life sim-esque shop management mode. Hotta has also taken another pass at animations and camera work in the combat system, while also adding new "critical dodge" and "pꦿarry attack" functions for🔥 perfect timing.
Driving around the open world has similarly been tuned up. You can steal cars, enter street races, and maybe rack up stars in a Wanted system by committing various other crimes. It seems you can't actually run people over, though; instead, NPCs just phase through your vehicle and you get flagged for reckless driving. The anime GTA 6 reputation isn't entirely unearned – not to be confused with Ananta or 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Silver Palace – but Nev🎀erness to Everness is decidedly more PG abo♋ut crime.
It's promising stuff, but the next beta test hands-on will tell us if it actually works, so instead, I want to focus on the nitty-gritty gacha details discussed near the end of the livestream. This is always the sticking point with these games – they are, at best, good despite the gacha baggage – and Neverness to Everness looks like a significant departure from the♉ post-Genshin practices codified by the likes of Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and theܫ non-HoYo Wuthering Waves.
Neverness to Everness's "character acquisition" system is called "Scarborough Fair," Hotta Games explained. (I await the parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme💫). It's basically a Mario Party-like virtual board where you roll a standard, six-sided die to advance, collecting loot as you go. You're still using 160 thingamajigs per pull, which is also Genshin-standard, but there are plenty of differences elsewhere.
There are Standard (permanent) and Limited (short-time) boards, and "when you land on character spaces," you get the corresponding character. Treasure chest spaces also have a chance of aw✃ard🉐ing characters, seemingly along with miscellaneous materials.
"The overall probability to 🧔obtain an S Class character in a single roll is 1.88%," Hotta confirmed on the reveal stream. This accounts for the boost in probability from the game's 'soft pity' at 70 pulls, at which point many more S Class character spaces will appear on the board. You're guaranteed to get an S Class within 90 pulls. Genshin Impact has a consolidated 5-Star probabil𝐆ity, including the eventual guarantee, of 1.6% for comparison.
Here's the kicker. "Any S Class character obtained from limited banners will always be the featured limited characte🦩r, meaning you will never lose another '50/50,'" Hotta announced. This eliminates the dreaded Standard-character jump scare which would otherwise force you to pull another 5-star, S Class, or whatever max-rarity MacGuffin your game is shilling in order to get the character you a𓂃ctually wanted.
In another big change, Neverness to Everness will only distribute a few trace A Class Arcs, or weapons, via this gacha board. "S Class and most A Class arcs will be obtained directly through various game modes or purchased with special currency," Hotta said. "This currency is also abundantly produced through gameplay, so everyone can easily get it. Our goal is to ensure that players won't be frustrated by not having suitable Arcs for their characte📖rs."
Wuthering Waves, for example, is notorious for offering drastically weaker alternatives to signature 5-star weapons. HoYo games, from Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail to Zenless Zone Zero, regularly offer upwards of 20-30% buffs via their own signature weapons. Zenless Zone Zero's newly released update 2.0, for instance, is selling a massive upgrade for starring character Yixuan via her signature weapon – in the realm🔯 of 35% better than free op𝐆tions, .
This🉐 can make characters feel incomplete without their weapon, putting more pulls on the scales of gacha FOMO, which is very much by design. A lot of gacha games do this, but post-Genshin, the practice and the numbers attached to it have become even more normalized.
So, Neverness to Everness' system sounds great. It guarantees limited characters, and Hotta insists that S Class weapons can be obtained through normal gameplay. That said, a lot of things sound great at one point, like Hotta Games' power creep-riddled 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tower of Fantasy, but this 🌟is still a gacha game at ♏the end of the day, and there are still plenty of ways for this to go wrong.
A few big questions remain around the Nevernesꩵs to Everness gacha system. How many pulls can you earn for free in each update? How powerful are characters at base level, with no duplicate copies pulled? How aggressively will new characters obviate old characters, encouraging players to pull more regularly? How else will the game be monetized, perhaps through character or vehicle skins, time-saving microtransactions, or direct purchases?
See, folks, it's questions like these that are the best argument for treating these games as free little treats. Clear the story, explore the♎ world, and then get the heck out before all the insidious systems get their claws in you.
]]>It's hard to believe it's been that long since Borderlands 3, but somehow that game is over five years old at this point (it'll be a day before six years when it launches on September 12, 2025), it's even a few months older than Death Stranding, which really puts it into perspective (I mean sure, there was Tiny Tina's Wonderlands in the middle there, but c'mon). From the way Gearbox tells it, that time was put to good use, as the character classes in Borderlands 4 seem way more in-🧸depth this time around.
Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford and chief creative officer Randy Varnell took the stage at ෴to chat about the new character classes in the game. Varnell spoke up about the depth of the skill tree in Borderlands 4, saying that four players could take the same character and action skill into a fight and still have a varied enough moveset to take on different roles. Pitchford added, "You'll find more skills per character than in Borderlands 3 and 2 added together," saying, "We're working late on Fridays for you."
Doing the math, characters in Borderlands 2 each had three skill trees with 10 skills each, while in Borderlands 3, each character had 4 skill trees with around 18-20 skills each. So add it all together, and that's a ton of skills per character. Hopefully, they are meaningful upg🧜rades as opposed to being the skill equivalent of Borderlands' millions of weapons with minor changes between them.
]]>Speaking to GamesRadar+ as part of our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 preview, lead writer Taylor Clark says that "Borderlands is 🎃almost old enough to drive. It would be strange if it weren't constantly growing and adapting. And that's not because we're trying to meet the market in some cynical way."
In other words, Gearbox isn't only making anotꦐher sequel for the sake of making a sequel. "We are a creative team and there are ideas that we want to express through Borde💛rlands 4," Clark explains. There are "ways that we want to make it feel like we're breaking fresh ground again."
For 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4, that fresh ground is to be found in a particular focus on how you get around. A more open-world entry than any of its predecessors, Borderlands 4 offers the ability to conjure its Digirunner vehicles wherever you are, but an emphasis of movement is🧜 said to pervade the whole game. According to executive producer Chris Brock, that's because Gearbox "wanted to take that same focused approach" that the studio had on Borderlands 3's combat overhaul, "but this time for movement and exploration."
According to Clark, that means "less borders, more lands," as well as "virtually no loading times" and a non-linear approach to the campaign that lets you deal with main missions "in pretty much any order." Not all of that is directly attached to movement, but it's a 𝓀free-form approach to Borderlands that hasn't really been a major part of previous entries.
As well as making its own new stamp on movement, Gearbox is listening to fans, announcing an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:optional combat radar for Borderlands 4 in response to fans who mourned the loss of an in-game map. It's not quite ready yet, but it's been put together extremely quickly, implying that the studio mi▨ght still have a few things it's yet to reveal ahead of the September release date.
]]>"That's pretty good damage☂. That was a huge DPS phase we got off on him,"💟 skumnut says after landing a single punch against Adel, Baron of the Night, which dealt a whopping 48 damage.
WORLDS FIRST Elden Ring Nightreign Enhanced Gaping Jaw/Adel BARE FISTS only kill. Did the entire expedition using only my bare fists as well (first try too🔜 lol)Wish the enhanced version of this boss changed a lot more in the fight but still a solid boss! pic.twitter.com/BzyXxhAHZG
Adel is the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new and improved form of the Gaping Jaw, which is a horrifying name fit for the horrifying boss. This thing has a huge orifice that opens up sideways. There's something deeply unsettling about that, because I feel like most animals we know have mouths that open up and down, so it gives the creature a very alien ef♛fect.
Skumnut used the Duchess Nightfarer in his run, but other than that, his main strategy appears to simply be dodging the Baro𒀰n of Night's attacks and then attacking its feet when he gets the chance. It's a long, slow process – one that takes a bit more than 40 minutes.
After the ordeal, skumnut says, "I do wish that fight was a lot harder than it is." Why do we do this to ourselv☂es, FromSoftware fans?
Skumnut continues to say the fight wasn't as good as it could have been due to it being a "very bad RNG run," but I don't know how much RNG can 𓄧even help you when you're using fisticuffs against god-like bosses.
If you'd rather do something more wholesome, you could try 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:turning Nightreign into Pokemon ꦕby luring unsuspecting bosses into the path of the Ga👍ping Dragon's acid attack.
Okay, so it's not very wholesome, but it is𓄧 cool watching two bosses fight each other while you sit back and bet on who will come out on top.

]]>After previews for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 went live, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford polling fans on "what more" they want when it comes to navigation in the game. It was already confirmed that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:there's no mini-map, but 55% of people declared that they 🔥wanted a "combat radar, you fools," prompting Pitchford to 🐈explain that, actually, the devs already have us covered for the full launch.
In a thread discussing Borderlands 4's maps, compass, and EchoBot AI drone, Pitchford admits: "To be🅺 honest, we have been using the compass for so long for combat situational awareness, [that] we don't miss the radar. We stopped thinking about it. We can actually prove at the beginner level it doesn't matter and at the advanced level the compass is preferred." However, following the game's recent "press tour," Pitchford estimates "roughly 15%" of players brought up the combat radar's absence, with a number really advocating for the feature.
"As me and head of dev, Steve Jones (and some of the other guys) were poking around with producers trying to figure out what it would take to add these features and if we could make it in time to ship or not, something awesome happened," Pitchford explains. "In classic Gearbox style, where we have an ethos of 'they who builds it, wins,' some developers got together ꦯand found some time in the margins of their schedules. Some Gearbox heroes did what Gearbox heroes do!"
A combat radar is now an optional feature in Borderlands 4, you guys! Here’s a sneak p🦂eek at what it looks like! 29/32 pic.twitter.com/kcKebRqE🍎2r
Pitchford says that in an effort from creative director Graeme Timmins and some members of the UI team (incꩲluding "the awesome Jason Brown and the badass Justin Dooley," as well as art from "the super talented Ray Peña"), the devs made the combat radar players were missing. What's more, they "just barely squeezed it in for a QA pass so that it can go into the main branch of our software in time to ship with Borderlands 4 on September 12."
The Gearbox boss expresses his gratitude for the feedback the devs received, perhaps with some trepidation using the term "real fans," despite all the backlash he's faced for those two words recently. "This happened because of the best elements of our c💙ommunity. I'm talking about the real fans who sincerely want the best for the game and gave constructive notes and made reasonable arguments," he says. "You know who you are and you rock! You made this ꦺhappen!"
Meanwhile, creative director that the combat rad💞ar was added "LAST FREAKING WEEK," so it really is a recent development. He says that those involved in its creation "went incredibly fast when I told them – 'If we're doing this, I want it for launch.' This is just how committed we are here guys; we're doing everything to make BL4 the definitive Borderlands."
All in all, it's been a positive week for Borderlands fans – a welcome change after the aforementioned backlash following Pitchford's suggestion that any "real fan" would find a way to buy the upcoming game even if it was $80. A few days ago, it was confirmed that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the standard edition of the game is $70, so fans' wallets are somewhat safe, unless they want to buy a pricey collector's edition that's not actually a collector's edition.
]]>"Borderlands 4 is a da𝔉y one purchase for me, by the way," Douse writes on Twitter. "I have a lot of faith in its writers (though I can't put a finger on it, I have a good feeling about it) and I think just enough time has passed. Just throwing that out there in case you thought I was neggy on the BL."
Borderlands 4 is a day one purchase for me, by the way. I have a lot of faith in its writers (though I can't put a finger on it, I have a good feeling about it) and I think just enough time has passed. Just throwing that out there in case you thoug🎶ht I was neggy on the BL.
澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Douse has previously spoken out about Pitchford's controversial comment that "real fans" would find a way to afford Borderlands 4, even if it cost $80. "Saying 'real fans will find a way' is gross because it assumes your game is more important during a cost of living crisis than, for example, making it day to d🅷ay," Douse wrote at the time.
So, you can see why Douse wanted to clear the air and let it be known he does still support the game. But, even though Douse is𒊎 keen to get Borderlands 4, he's still not afraid t🦄o give his honest opinion on the series. One fan asks what he thought of the writing in Borderlands 3, and he replies: "That was a dry-ass turkey dropped eight months after Thanksgiving." Ouch.
I wonder if he'll be getting the $70 standard version or the $150 collector's edition that's not actually a collector's edition and doesn't come with the game?

]]>An Elden Ring fan shared a video of them using stones to lure a Death Rite Bird over to a Gaping Dragon. A🌸s everyone knows, dragons and birds are mortal enemies. When the Death Rite Bird wanders over, the Gaping Dragon unleashes some sort of bile that absolutely slashes its HP bar.
from
Once that's happened, the player then goes 🌞and kills the biꦆrd – which, let's be honest, doesn't look much like a bird at all – whose HP has dropped to maybe a tenth of what it was originally.
"Couldn't have happened to a more deserving bird," writes one fan on . "Gaping Dragon teaches us that all hierarchies are meaningless, because ♍barf is the great equalizer."
Since Nightreign has a very large area for you to explore, you can find multiple bosses without being gated behind fog wall𓂃s or anything like that. I wonder what the limꩵit is on how many big bads you can get together in one place. Maybe it would be like a double or even triple battle from the old Pokemon games.
With how powerful that Gaping Dragon attack is, it would 🌜definitely be my ace 'mon if I had a way to catch it. Instead, we'll all have to settle for simply luring other bosses into its voracious chops.

]]>Earlier this month, developer FromSoftware stated that stronger versions of the existing Nightlords would be added to the co-op action RPG in the future, and the first one of those has now dropped out of nowhere. As per a from publisher Bandai Namco, the beefed-up bad guys are called Everdark Sovereigns, with the Gaping Jaw expedition's Adel, Ba𓃲ron of the Night c💦urrently taking the stage for anyone who's already beaten the original boss.
Bandai Namco warns that the Eve🙈rdark Sovereigns are "extremely challenging and pose an even greater threat to the Nightfarers with new moves and increased power," but the good news is that defeating them will reward you with 🍬Sovereign Sigils, which can "be exchanged for special Relics and other items." Players have that the option to summon Shifting Earth events freely is unlocked after defeating the new boss.
However, there's a catch that not everyone is too thrilled about – these fights are only available for a limited time. Adel, Baron of the Night's battle will disappear after June 26 at 6pm PT / 9pm ET (June 27 at 2am GMT), so there's only a week to beat it before it's replaced by another. The Sꦺentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight Nightlords are already confirmed to be on the guest list, with the Tricephalos, Augur, Fissure in the Foꦕg, and Equilibrious Beast to follow in the future.
"Not permanent? A▨re we for fucking real?" one . "Nah bro why are they doing FOMO in th💛e Elden Ring game. Not the right move at all," .
"I don't love the FOMO aspect," . "Gaping Jaw isn't hard but locking special rewards behind a unique currency that is locked behind an LTM feels really shitty. One of my favorite ꧅aspects of Nightreign was the play when you feel like it aspect and that's kind of gone now."
The good news is that Bandai Namco has basically confirmed the bosses won't vanish forever after their allotted time. "When this time is up, the Sovereign will disappear from the available Expeditions... for now," the publisher teases. It sounds like 💃there'll be aꦐ kind of rotation, although it's not clear how long you might have to wait to fight a specific boss if you miss out or fail to beat it during a given slot, which could prove to be frustrating.

]]>After the announcement that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 will cost $70, after all, some people speculated that the backlash to Randy Pitchford's divisive comments actually led to the shooter's cheaper-than-expected price. But Larian Studios' publishing diඣrector, Michael Douse, says the theory is "extremely unli🐠kely."
"They probably just calculated a higher average price from up-ꦇsell SKUs that ♏satisfied them with a lower barrier to entry at 70, especially knowing people would want to play it with friends," he recently. "Keeping that entry level lower makes a lot of sense."
Borderlands 4 is essentially a co-op game at heart. P🙈eople are going to want to play with their pals, and you're much more likely to convince a friend to drop $70 than $80 on a new game, meaning publisher 2K stands to gain more with that cheaper barrier to entry.
"Alm💟ost ev൩erything is far more boring than you could imagine," Douse continued.
When the backlash was at its boiling point, Douse chimed in on all the discussion to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:call Pitchford's comments "gross" since it seemingly assum▨ed a game was/should be more important to people "during a cost of living crisis than, for example, making it day to day."
It didn't take long for Pitchford to respond to the fan counterblast multiple times, ending with a massive 557-wor𒈔d post trying to clear up the "misunderstanding." It seems to be in the past now, though.
]]>The minimum hardware you'll need to run Borderlands 4 includes 16GB of RAM, 8GB of VRAM, 8 CPU cores, and an Nvidia RTX ♔2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. That's a lot of RAM and a lot of cores💫 for a cel-shaded game.
The recommended specs are, obviously, higher. An RTX 30♉80 or AMD 6800 XT, 12GB of VRAM, and a whopping 32GB of RAM.
As reported by , 50.39% of Steam users who took part in its have a CPU with six cores or fewer. This means unless you're using a fairly beefy machine, you may have to upgrade your CPU just to get the minimum specs. We have a list of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best CPUs for gaming that may help you.

Our friends ove𝐆r at don't believe these specs are set in stone though. It notes that smaller CPUs with multi-threading support may still work, such as a four core CPU that can use each core to 🔯execute multiple functions. Those RAM and VRAM specs are probably more concrete, unfortunately.
Over on Reddit, fans aren't happy. As spotted by , one redditor wrote, "Wtf is this🌜? There is no way a Borderlands game is that demanding." They add, "I have never seen a game requiring eight CPU cores. RTX 3080 12GB is only three [years old], isn't this just an insane hardware leap?"

In fact, most gaming auteurs are pretty weird, with the likes of Hideo Kojima, Suda 51, and Keita Takahashi making games that are so far outside the norm. However🦄, despite this influx of odd people, Yoko Taro reckons the ind𒅌ustry is not as weird as it once was.
In a (), a fan said to Yoko Taro, "I was reading The True Biography of Game Creators and laughing like 'lmao, there sure are a lot of people with strange personalities.' I🎉s it true that there’s actually a lot of weirdos in the game industry? If it is, which sectors have the most 💯of them?"
Yoko Taro, unfazed by the notion that his industry is full of weirdos, responded, "I𝔉’ve been a part of the game industry𝔍 for 30 years, but I feel there’s less ‘weird people’ now." He added "I don’t know if this is something simply happening in my field of view, if the game industry ended up like this, or if the whole world is like this now."
Yoko Taro has previousl♉y been a big proponent of developers going against the grain with their games, believing that's ultimately how you create an impact on the industry, as "epoch-making," thanks 𒊎to its approach of putting the focus on art and atmosphere. But we're thankfully seeing a new generation of weirdos in the indie game scene, even if AAA development feels safer than ever at times.
]]>After you're alerted to the fact that "a demon has cursed you" in Nightreiꦕgn, a red spot on your map will guide you to a demonic merchant that will take either 15,000 of your Runes on Day 1 or 35,000 Runes on Day 2 to reverse its curse on your party. After this, he'll make a deal with you to grant you a pow🎶erful buff. But if you reject his rates, you can choose to battle him as a lesser version of the Libra Creature of Night boss.
At least, this is how it's supposed to go. Pay up, or draw your sword. But Reddit user players who still bear the demon's curse by the time Nightreign's challengin✱g night three comes around can alternatively "remove the curse b🅺y... jumping into the abyss!"
"Specifically, jumping off the bridge leading to the Nightlord's arena," Sobrin_ says in a Reddit thread with nearly 2,000 upvotes as of writing. "This de🃏ath apparently removes it, and your souls/grace will still be there to pick up and let you regain your level. That way, you'll get that portion of your h✨ealth bar back" – the demon's curse impacts your health – "whilst keeping your level."
"And n🔯o, jumping off the Limveld map does not work for this," the player continues. "I accidentally checked."
"That definitely feels uni♑ntended," remarks the post's . It probably is, but you should never look a gift demon in the mouth.
The good news is that as of Nightreign's latest patch, the deไmon's curse should now beℱ a bit easier to deal with, as FromSoftware has "fixed a bug where the Demon Merchant would spawn near the Night's Tide when the Demon Merchant curse event was encountered." So, maybe less players will have to resort to jumping into the vo⛎id in the first place.

]]>In a new video, they explain that the 15-seco𓂃nd near-death state you can be revived gets harder to overcome the more you die. The first death fills ga💃uge by one bar and it has 40 HP; the second death fills two bars which each have 45 HP; the third death fills three bars and they each have 80 HP. This means each time you die, you're harder to revive than before.
What's more, when you're down and your buddies stop attacking you because they have to deal with another enemy, the bars fill up ag🎐ain after 3.5 seconds. On the first death it regains two HP per second; second death is nine; third death is 40.
Zullie notes that those death penalties get knocked down by a level for every three minutes you stay alive or get reset when you interact with a Site of Grace. So, you'll likely only notice this when you're fighting a 🌼boss or tough enemy and die multiple times in one battle.
To add to the confusion, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:each weapon type has a different revive HP effect, with claws and fists doing 10 up to colossal weapons and ballistas doing 25. Although there ar💮e some exceptions, suc𒐪h as the Revenant's Cursed Claws dishing out the same revive impact as a greatsword.
Even more confusingly, this damage doesn't increase with your level or buffs, but ♎based on what kind of attack you're using. So charged two-handed attacks revive more 🅰than light one-handed ones.
Spells all have their own individual values, with Glintstone Pebble doing the෴ least and Cannon of Haima doing the most. Spells with multiple projectiles have varied revive effect based on how many of those projectiles hit, so they're even harder to work out.
All this is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:what makes The Guardian so good when in the 🍨right hands, as his ultimate can revive two teammates if they're close together, so you don't even have to think about all this.

]]>If you've been taking on the various Nightlords found in Limveld, chances are you might have seen a ♌pop-up informing you that "a demon has cursed you," taking a significant chunk out of your health bar that you can't heal back in the process. The way you're meant to deal with this is by seeking out the demon who cursed you, and either defeating it or coughing up a significant amount of runes, getting out o♎f it without paying.
However, doing this is a lot easier said than done if the demon ends up spawning at the edge of the Night's Tide – the danger zone that slowly closes in on the map to restrict the areas you can traverse without taking damage as a run progresses. Being stuck with an unfixable HP nerf for an entire run can easily ma🅰ke the difference between a win and a loss – I'd know, I've been there – but FromSoftware has now made a change to ensure this shouldn't happen so easily, as it's "fixed a bug where the Demon Merchant would spawn near the Night's Tide when the Demon Merchant curse event was encountered."
There are a number of other bug fixes included in the , too, notably including one which sometimes s🗹aw players "lose a battle after being revived from near🌠 death against a Nightlord or other Night bosses." So, you should no longer be cheated out of a potential comeback when it matters most.

It comes with an Echo-4 statue, vault symbol necklace, art prints, map of Kairos, and a code for five golden keys in Borderlands 4. What it doesn't come with is the game itself, even though i🎉t costs $150. So if you want that and the game, you're going to have to spend at least $220.

And with the PC port pushing the game over the three million copies sold m🀅ark, the employees of Shift Up have now been gifted Nintendo Switch 2 consoles on top of that.
Shift Up CEO Hyung-Tae Kim gave out Switch 2 consoles to the studio's staff in celebration of the new milestone on June 18. However, in a report from Korean outlet (translated and machine translation), it's claimed that on the same day the studio received Nintendo Switch 2 devkits, allowing the studio to create games fo🐷r the platform, with a port of Stellar Blade apparently on the cards.
However, in a comment to PlayForum, a representative from Shift Up says that there's "nothing confirmed" when it comes to a Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade. ]]>Pitchford's talking about the price of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 again. After Pitchford completely submerged himself in hot water by saying "real fans" would fork up the $80 for Bord🌜erlands 4 if it indeed ended up costing that much, and then 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:kind of sort of apologizing, publisher 2K opened up pre-orders for the game and confirmed that the base game starts𓆉 at $7🍸0, and the internet silently unclenched its jaw.
Now for the good... sort of.
Never one to gloat, about Borderlands 4's not-$80 price tag on Twitter, and today he did something akin to 𝕴that silly little dance Football players do when they score a touchdown.
"I am so stoked that Borderlands 4 is $69.99 🌺and not $80," Pitchford said in a . "I am so stoked we’re not doing any paid early access stuff and moved the date earlier to Sept 12. I am stoked that we are planning a TON of awesome DLC."
So 🐠far, we know that the $100 Deluxe Edition of Borderlands 4 includes four post-launch DLC packs with new missions, cosmetics, and the like, and the $130 Super Deluxe Edition includes all that and an additional two story expansions. I'm not sure if that qualifies as "a ton" for y'all, but 🌳I'm thinking there's more to be revealed.
Pitchford on that tweet with clarification that "we are going to be worki🍒ng out our DLC plans as we land the game and can shift focus," adding, "we already lots of amazing plans in mind for a range of free and paid content post launch."
The divisive game dev's final, for now, on the matter reads in part: "We're pulling out all the stops on our end game and our post launch com🎀mitment for Borderlands 4."
Purely going off the fact that it's now been six years since the last Borderlands game,🐭 not to mention all of this pre-release hype and controversy, Borderlands 4 has a lot to live up when it launches in September. We'll see if it sticks the landing.
]]>This being an intersection of things I find journalistically irresistible – paradoxically huge niches and absurd non-troversies – I obviously had to find out what happened. This all started in late May when Atlyss creator Kiseff rolled out a test change to the game's be♛ta branch. As an admin in ꧙the Atlyss Discord server recounted, this was "an experimental procedure" introducing a "slight reduction of the max sliders" on some character creation settings, most notably capping some body width sliders.
In other words, you suddenly couldn't make your characters quite as round or endowed. As a reminder, Atlyss is not an "adult" game. Its Steam content warning reads: "The game contains sexualized clothing and character designs (however, nothing explicit), blood and cartoon violence. Dialog may cꦰontain occasional swearing and mild sexual innuendo. In-game chat is included in online play, which can provide varied experiences."
Nevertheless, in a demonstration of some of the appeal here, one of the top-rated Atlyss Steam user reviews reads: "My player model is cute and my ass is fat. You should be play🐼ing right now."
There are, in fairness, a lot of other reviews saying the gameplay is genuinely great even if you're not into furry characters, and frankly, you don't get Steam traction like this without reason. Steam user Bucky Seifert, a real scholar of our time, said🌞 it best, I think: "You'll come for the thicc furry shortstacks but stay for the combat and cracked movement."
But as you can probably imagine, for a certain crowd this slider change was an anvil suddenly heaped upon the 🔯(previously unburdened) camel's back. Some of the reviews from this time of slider unrest reckon "character creation was significantly and intently hamstrung by a recent update."
Another player argues "the dev has made the re꧙ally unfortunate decision to strip away the thing so many of us had bought the game for: The ability to ✨make your characters the kinds of body shapes you can't in any other game." And you know what? I can kind of understand that disappointment.
Based on , the whole thing was blown out of proportion in some circles, which, I know, you really wouldn't expect from the internet. (And for goodness' sake, if you're going to browse the Atlyss subreddit, do so cautiously). Unrest ensued, "resulting in a large influx 🐽of back-and-forth of the Atlyss community, positive and negative review dynamite sticks alike," as that Discord post rather democratically put it.
"regarding all this" pretty quickly, assuring players that "I꧋ am still working on the models. They are not final. That's it. I won't write a manifesto about that. I will fix this."
The whole thing was a communication issue, they said, not a design decision. "I made bad choices in the midst of all this and I✃ did share a private build for a moment on my support✱ discord to sort some things out," Kiseff added. "I removed all the test branches for the time being."
Fast forward to this month, , between new skills an🃏d environments and subclass developments, has not only preserved the character models some players had fa🌼llen in love with, it's added a new environment to the character creation screen and "all of the player models have been refined to look more rounder / softer and less jagged." I do love a happy ending.
"I will stay by my word and be committed to continue pro⛄viding communication💟 and transparency at the best of my ability here each month," Kiseff says in the latest update. "Again, I do apologize for taking as long as I am. There is a silver lining to all of this and I'm certain things will turn in a good direction soon."

"🌳This was a lot of fun and a great way to learn all the bosses," he concludes. "I'm glad fists aren't as bad as they are in normal Elden Ring lol."
If there's any silver lining here, it's that, yes, your fists are stronger in Nightreig♉n thanks to the game's updated balancing. But punches are still quite weak compared to, you know, weapo🥃ns.
Amazingly enough, star0chriไs isn't the only person, or seemingly the first, to have managed s✱uch a run,.
As a fellow fan points out in the comments, "skumnut," notorious "Elden Ring sicko" and YouTuber, has just managed to do the same. It's still amazing, nonetheless. As our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review puts it, "reaching any of the Nightlords is difficult, and beating any of them is even tougher" even with weapons.
Here are some of the other most exciting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games this year and beyond to keep an eye on.
alerting gamers that the Collector's Edition is available to be ordered from GameStop, saying "It’s pretty rad and will probably sell out, so grab it if you’re into 🎐it." The Borderlands 4 Echo-4 Bundle comes with a Cloth Map, 8 8-inch tall Echo-4 figure, some art prints, a Vault Symbol necklace, and some in-game Shift Code Cards.
And that's it. Rather than present your biggest fans with the game or even some DLC to go along with their tat, you'll need to drop an extra $130 on top of that to get the full Borderlands 4 experience. Considering the $100 version comes with what is effectively four of Borderlands 2's $3 Headhunter Packs, I'm not sure it's the best value.
Collectors' editions that don't include the game aren't actually new, sadly, but they are all pretty lame. The one for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is cool, mind you, but that comes with a Vinyl Soundtrack – that will inevitably go for nuts pric🌊esಌ on Discogs – at least (and to be fair, it ).
]]>The elaborates that "we have a huge slate of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:post-launch content planned, including free content drops and updates," while the explains what's to come ಌin the more expensive versions of the game with one of those tables that 𓄧break down everything.
The Deluxe edition comes with the Bounty Pack Bundle, which includes "four unique areas, missions and bosses" and "vault card with unique challen༒ges and rewards" along with cosmetics and weapons. Meanwhile the more expensive edition comes with the Vault Hunter Pack, which seems more in-line with a full-blown expansion, with new vault hunters, map regions, and story missions being added.
A fan on Twitter pointed out that the Bounty Pack Bundle sounds similar to the Headhunter Packs from Borderlands 2, which were small DLC packs that added little missions to the game along with a few cosmetics. And yes, these are going to be similar to Headhunter Pac💟ks.
"Bounty Packs are going to be similar to Headhunter Packs from Borderlands 2 with Vault Cards and extras!𝄹" it writes. "We'll be talking about this🍸 and the rest of our post-launch plans prior to launch!"
Of course, when you look at the cost of the Borderlands 2 Headhunter Packs, they were $2.99 each, so all five of those were just under $15 in total. So forgive me for saying that four Headhunter Pack equivalents for Borderlands 4 being $🎐30 on top of the 🦂game sounds like a real bad deal. I'm sure Gearbox expects that the "real fan" will gladly go all-in on it, but if we're talking about the same scale as Headhunter Packs, $5 extra for each pack seems a bit much.
]]>These days, it's common for a developer to know exactly what DLC it's got in the works before a game is even out – it does take years to make, after all. In total, there are currently six planned DLC packs that you can either buy now as part of the game's specialꦛ editions, or you can get them individually once the game is out.
The Deluxe Edition – which will set you back $100 – has four of these six packs in what's called the Bounty Pack Bundle. They'll have new areas to explore, new missions to tackle, and more loot to get your hand﷽s on.
The Super Deluxe Edition costs a not-so-super $130 and has two more DLC packs – which combined are called the Vaulꦬt Hunter Pꦗack. Each contains a new story, Vault Hunter, map regions, and more loot.
We don't yet know when any of these DLC are going to launch🧔, and it's important to note that even when we do get a release dꦛate, it could change – video game development is volatile.
There's no need to panic pre-order the ღSuper Deluxe Edition just yet. All the bundles and individual DLC will be available for purchase once the game launches on September 12, 2025, but we don't know what the separate prices will be. If you want to, though, you can pre-order Borderlands 4 on your preferred platform, .

]]>Ahead of Borderlands 4's release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 12 (the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 version still doesn't have a fu💖ll release date), publisher 2K has confirmed that the standard edition of the game will cost $70, coming in $10 shy of the price tag eve🐓ryone had begun to dread.
That's not to say that you can't spend more on the game, with the Deluxe Edition (which includes four post-launch DLCꦚ packs with new missions, weapons, cosmetics and more) costing $1𓄧00, and the Super Deluxe Edition (with all the aforementioned DLC as well as two Story Packs and some skins) going for $130.
Let's face it, though, we've been faced with pricey deluxe editions of games for years – it's the standard price that everyone was most interested in, thanks to Pitchford's now-infamous "real fan" comments. Last month, responding to a fan who was concerned that Borderlands 4 would cos🅘t $80, Pitchford stated that, although the price is "not my call," ultimately, "if you're a real fan, you'll find ཧa way to make it happen."
Understandably, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:this didn't go down particularly well, and while Pitchford did later acknowledge that "nobody likes being taken for granted and it was not my intent" (before quickly adding that "regardless of where 🍷the price laꦯnds, it's going to be worth it and then some"), the backlash has been dominating discussion about the game since.
Pitchford was about the fact that there's "no price increase for Borderlands 4" today, adding: "Standard Edition launches not at $80, but at $69.99! They're showing you, so please show them." I'm sure he won't be the only one at Gearbox likely hoping that the price comment controversy will blow over now that the looter shooter is officially🔴 $70.
]]>That's right – as if it wasn't impressive enough that, as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ℱdirector Junya Ishizaki stated himself, it's "very possible" to complete a full run and defeat all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign bosses alone, people are now actua𒉰lly doing it without taking any damage either. Content creator "LilAggy" proves as much in his own run, just yesterday. "I NO HIT AN ENTIRE NIGHTREIGN EXPEDITION," he writes.
I NO HIT AN ENTIRE 😼NIGHTREIGN EXPEDITIONZERO HITS (& ZERO DAM🍌AGE - NOT EVEN A SINGLE STORM TICK) FROM THE START OF DAY 1 ALL THE WAY TO DOWNING LIBRAFULL VOD HERE //t.co/ofQnxxgHm0 pic.twitter.com/lThSkfGN38
"ZERO HITS (& ZERO DAMAGE – NOT EVEN A SINGLE STORM TICK) FROM THE START OF DAY 1 ALL THE WAY TO DOWNING LIBRA," concludes LilAggy. For those unfamiliar, "Libra" is the final boss and Nightlord in the "Eqꦗuilibrious Beast" expedition.ಌ It's absolutely a wildly difficult accomplishment, and what's more, it's not even the only one to date – others have successfully pulled off zero hit runs, too.
YouTuber "eauvni" posted his own yesterday, showing him tackling a "world's first" no-hit run as Ironeye, one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign Nightfarers. Unsurprisingly, fellow fans of the multiplayer spin-off are taking to the clip's comments to share their awe – awe that I feel myself watching eauvni play. "Absolute legend," writes one impressed player. "Insane skill," admits another. ✃"Great job, dude."
It's nothing new for the Elden Ring IP – after all, the original game's community boasts the likes of the famous 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:no-hit saxophone player doing it all via a real-life instrument and another player who completed a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查♕询:no-hit ruಞn at uncapped New Game+1,000. It's certainly still a feat to write home about, however. After all, as our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review puts it, "reaching any of the Nightlords is difficult, and beating any of them is even tougher."
Here are some of the other most exciting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games this year and beyond to keep an eye on.
At the end of last month, Nightreign debuted on Steam with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:FromSoftware's second-lowest reviews, quickly dropping from Mostly Positive to Mixed at release. One of the main complaints was the co-op action RPG's lack of two-player support – although you and a friend can team up with a stranger to take on the various tough Nightlords, it is kind of weird that you can't just run out into Limveld as a duo. Before launch, the game's director even admitted it was overlooked during development.
Since then, FromSoftware still hasn't actually added duos to Nightreign – although it has 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:confirmed that the option is on the way – but that's clearly not been enough to continue holding the game back. As it stands, 80% of Nightreign's 71,000+ reviews on Steam are now positiv𒐪e, with many more recent ratings giving a thumbs up and "I liked it both solo and with friends," and, uh, (To be fair, as both a Fortnite and Nightreign player I totally understand where they're coming from.)
Nightreign is very different to the traditional Dark Souls and soulslike experience from FromSoftware – co-op focus aside, the fast pace you have to play at and its roguelite elements change the feeling drastically from, say, taking on an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring boss along♐side your friends. Perhaps it's just taken players a while to adjust to the changes and accept Nightreign for what it 🌃is?
We'll just have to wait and see how the game's further updat🧸es impact its rating – with duo support on the way eventually, hopefully that can only help improve things further.
While you're here, be sure to check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review, as well as our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign tips to help you beat the Nightlords.
]]>Stellar Blade's PC demo is a free version that leads up to the end of the first major bossfight. There's an intro cutscene, a brief tutorial, and some exploration that lets you start to get to grips with the ga🅘me's extensive upgrade❀ tree, and for a game of this size that's dropping its PC port in the same week as Next Fest, it's a relatively chunky demo. After that first boss fight, there's even a second battle that you're thrown into, a few hours into the rest of the game.
Those two fights were easily the highlight of what I played of Stellar Blade. The satisfying 'chiiing' of a successful parry or the balletic red lines of a perfect dodge both encourage a deeper connection with the combat than simply ♛holding down the guard button or spamming dodge-roll. There's decent weight behind the boss' attacks, fitting of statures that tend to tower over Eve. The trouble is, I'm fighting through much better bosses elsewhere right now, and this demo is nowhere close to convincing me to make the jump.
I'm working my way gradually through 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign with my friends at the moment, and it's indicative of the ✤problem that I had with Stellar Blade almost immediately. While there's a competent soulslike in there, it's very clearly a game that relies on style over substance. That's clear from its opening cutscene, and while there's little need to rehash the conversation about Eve's physique here, Shift Up found many more ways to show off visually than in other departments.
Its flashy, setpiece-filled intro and its gratuitously go🍃ry cutscenes quickly gave way to a dark, muddy city that was dangerously close to the iconic 'PS3 brown' color palette. Even in that relatively c꧅lose-quarters environment, performance was an issue, and despite outshining the recommended specs I had to scale the graphics way back before I could get free of some distracting stuttering.
Elsewhere, it wasn't long before I was being waylaid by level design; having an enemy lying in wait behind a door might have been an homage to Dark Souls, but the floaty physics puzzles are certainly a feature I don't really need from my soulslikes. The style of ✨Stellar Blade's big moments is decent, but the substance of its moment-to-moment combat and traversal doesn't live up to the checks its cutscenes are writing. Eve's attacks are lightweight compared to her finishing moves, her respo𒆙nse to getting smacked around a boss arena disappointingly clunky in the face of her apparent agility elsewhere.
It's hard, while playing Nightreign in the background, to not compare the two. And despite the chaos and rapid pace of the Elden Ring spin-off, there's no question which is the better game. Granted, Shift Up is m🍌aking a leap into less-familiar territory with Stellar Blade, while🌸 FromSoftware is adapting technology it's spent years honing to a laser's edge. Stellar Blade is by no means a bad game, and nor is it entirely fair to compare it to anything Elden Ring-shaped, but it's certainly not good enough to have justified the discourse that's swirled around it, or to convince me to abandon my Nightreign condemned for Eve.
Check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stellar Blade review to see what we thought of the original PS5 launch.
]]>Lies of P, which previously 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:nerfed a🌱 bunch of bosses shortly 🌌after launch, straight-up 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:has an easy mode now. And if that wasn't easy enough, developer Neowiz is also already planning to tone down some infamous sections of the game's n🐽ew DLC, Overture.
FromSoftware boss and Elden Ring maestro Hidetaka Miyazaki, widely and fairly regarded as Father Souls himself, previously argue💙d that games like Elden Ring have to be hard in order to convey the intended vision and experience. "If we really wanted the whole world to ♑play the game, we could just crank the difficulty down," he said.
I think Miyazaki is absolutely right. If that's the vision of the devs, they can very well stand by it. But the FromSoftware way is not the only way to make and balance games like this, and clearly the makers of Lies of P – a game which is notably less flexible than Elden Ri♐ng, and closer to the Sekiro school of thought where the final exam is 'learn this play style or prepare to die' – were happy to make the game more approachable. And they're not the only ones.
On June 11, The First Berserker: Khazan creative director Junho Lee . A coming update, he said, is packing highly requested gear and inventory quality-of-life features, the tutorial has been im𓃲proved, and balance changes will continue to support a range of play styles to avoid the spear's "Trance spam" build sucking the🍒 air out of the room.
The headliner, though, was a set of "Difficulty System Improvements." Not nerfs, improvements. We'll come back to thaওt. For now, here's everything that's changing:
I played The First Berserker: Khazan on what used to be normal mode because it was the highest of the two difficulties available, but there are suddenly a stonking four options to choose from. The difficulty gradient has doubled in꧙ size, giving players more ways to pick their preferred level of punishment.
Not only that, Hardcore will hide enemy HP and stamina gauges, disable support systems like the AI summons, and (this actually sounds un-fun) remove your handy Phantom Form. There are also new "balance settings and a unique ca✅mera lock-on perspective." It is, you could say, hardcore. The devs are even taking the demo down briefly since "the gameplay experience between the demo version and the full game has grown significantly different."
With changes like this, r🥀ather than undermining one intended experience, it feels like Lie🤡s of P and Khazan are focusing on helping a range of players define their own optimal experience. I don't think either approach, the FromSoftware vision or this adaptive one, is wrong. I enjoy both.
Difficulty is relative; Challenge mode in Khazan may give me the same level of resistance that Easy will give someone who's less experienced with this type of game. We're both getting our ass kicked at the end of the day. And for the folks worried about their Gamer Cred, you can always say 'I beat it on Challenge' if you absolutely must.
That said, I don't think the difficulty-adjacent 'play it for the story' argument matters that much here. Lies of P has an interesting enougꦡh world, though I was really only in it for the combat and music, but playing The First Berserker: Khazan for its story would be like g𓄧oing to a fancy restaurant and ordering their finest dishwater.
]]>澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:I've learned t🦩o respect their dedication, even if I'll never share it despite loving these games myself. But to this day, my response to some alleged FromSoft feats is true disbelief. People do, after all, make things up on the internet. We should all doubt things online a little more. So when I learned of a Japanese player claiming to have killed Malenia and Promised Consort Radahn, respectively the most difficult bosses in Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, tens of thousands of times, I had my doubts.
That player is , whose Twitter bio boasts of 21,420 Malenia kills and 13,260 Consort Radahn kills in some 9,500 hours played. I'm spotlighting their story for a reason, having found ShoulderCoffin on every platform I could and spoken to them directly, but I also want to walk you through my doubts here, because I was convinced there must at least be some fuzziness to these numbers.
Everything🌳 I've seen suggests ShoulderCoffin genuinely is extremely devoted to co-op bos🌌s kills. They insist they've not "exaggerated" their boss kill counts, even if their hours played were surely smudged by some AFK time.
Elden Ring was released on February 25, 2022. That was about 1,200 days ago at the time of writing. For these stats to hold up, ShoulderCoffin would have to have averaged just under eight hours of Elden Ring every single day since launch. Some people have played games even more intensely than that, to be sure. I've spoken to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Let Me Solo Them, a 5,ꦉ🍌300-hour Elden Ring devotee who can absolutely back up their claims, multipl꧅e times. But I still had my reservations. So, I asked ShoulderCoffin.
Via (perfectly readable but seemingly translated) responses, ShoulderCoffin explained that until the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, they were mostly either working, sleeping, or fighting Malenia. "That's my lifestyle for two years," they said over Diౠscord.
ShoulderCoffin , cosplaying as Elden Ring community hero Let Me Solo Her – not always, and with no great meaning behind it beyond respecting the legend, they suggest – in 2022. The second video on their channel, from November 18, 2023, claims to show their 14,460th Malenia kill. Why are there no records of previous kills? They say they don't have any footaꦚge of older kills. They said they previously posted a record of 7,500 kills on Reddit, but it was removed by moderators.
What they do have is YouTube, , and video posts chronicling thousands upon thousands of Malenia and Radahn fights going back years. Their Twitter record is especially meticulous. Sometimes it's singular fights, and sometimes it's compilations of multiple finales. With some basic scrubbing, I couldn't find any obvious or ꦛeven suspicious repeat fights used t🌞o pad their claim.
Most of these videos have relatively few views – they wouldn't be 🐻the first player slaving away while almost nobody notices – but several of ShoulderCoffin's posts do have replies from other players saying that they were able to overcome these bosses, especially Consort Radahn, w🐓ith their help. And all of these videos make it very clear that they've mastered the fights inside and out.
from
In lengthy strategy breakdowns that I didn't even request – I only shared my email address for possible future inquiries – ShoulderCoffin goes into extreme detail on how they formulated strategies to maximize their boss success rate in co-op. They're fond of status effects like poison, rot,🦹 bleed, and frostbite, as well as HP-shredding effects like the Black Blade Incantation. The blood dagger Reduvia is a mainstay. They previously used the spell Impenetrable Thorns, as I did, to delete bosses. It wasn't until several days after our initial conversations that they asked if I was familiar with Elden Ring – I'm on NG+5 – and everything they've said about the game's mechanics checks out.
When I added them as a friend on PlayStation to confirm their play time, Elden Ring wasn't displayed at first. An eyebrow went up. But ShoulderCoffin quickly updated their privacy settings, and sure enough, their account shows over 6,600 hours of Elden Ring played on PS5 alone. They started on PS4, they say, hence the 9,500-hour claim. And the rest of their profile checks out; they're every bit the FromSoft fan they claim to be, with plenty of hours logged in Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Armored Core 6, a🦩s well as a range of other games.
They say they got into co-op bosses because they wanted rematches but Elden Ring doesn't have Sekiro's boss do-over feature, and it seems they stuck with it for the long, long haul for the thrill. "I wanted perfection, like one swing of a katana from a master samurai, perfect straight fist punch from a karate master," they said of their Elden Ring history, adding that Malenia was th♍e trigger. "I wanna catch up with her, the very best dancer in [a] video game I've ever seen." Thousands of kills later, Consort Radahn came along, putting Malenia's once-staggering difficulty curve ꦏto shame.
"I decided to fight the final dlc boss anyway," ShoulderCoffin says. "Fighting Malenia was a gift and blessing as a video gamer, I thought whoever I fight, It will be Malenia 2.0 or somethiಞng, and I was completely wrong. I spent two whole days def📖eating PC Radahn. Almost no opportunity to punish, fast, tough. No doubt FromSoftware threw everything they got."
After checking every post and platform I possibly could, I can't say I've seen every last purported boss kill, but I am confident that ShoulderCoffin is one heck of 🦂a passionate gamer with near-peerless Elden Ring achievements under their belt. Countless videos and screenshots back them up, and their story of devotion isn't the first I've heard from FromSoft diehards, though it may well be the most intense.
ShoulderCoffin say🎶s they've finally had their fill, though. "I'm done. PC co-op consume my soul and ... it's pure nutcase and unbelievable," they concede.
For another standout player, meet Elden Ring's new community hero, the Elder Lord, a 72-year-old gamer with over 700 hours and New Game+7 beaten: "It was impossible, but I did it anyway"
]]>The field boss in question is the Bell Bearing Hunter, who, although you can sometimes encounter as a Night 1 🅘boss, you can also occasionally find while wandering the map during🐬 the day. He's a beefy, big dude, can take loads of hits before going down, and also hits like a truck, making for a foe that might make you want to turn around and look for something else a bit squishier to fight (and there's no shame in that).
However, as highlighted by Reddit user oopskeedoop, the Bell Bearing Hunter may have a weakness. ♐The player shares a clip of them staring down the boss, guarding with their weapon, as the seemingly confused foe slowly advances towards them, not attempting to fight, as the rest of the player's team mercilessly slam him with all the attacks they can. And when the guy starts trying to target someone else? There's an easy solution – just walk in front of him and block his path again.
from
"Was testing out the 'draw enemy aggression while guarding' Relic rite," the player explains. "Didn't seem to work quite as inten🅰ded."
They explain further in the thread: "I had the Relic equipped on my Executor🗹. [...] Wasn't really [planning] to body-block cheese him in any way. Not sure if I misunderstood how the Relic functioned or if [Bell Bearing Hunter] was prioritizing the people actually damaging him."
As they mention, however, it definitely doesn't seem intentional, and t💖he player themselves doesn't "really think this is a viable♛ strategy. Nor did I have any idea it was repeatable!"
So, maybe don't expect this one to keep working, even if it does for now – it might 🌠be worth a shot if you've been struggling to beat the guy otherwise, though.
While you're here, be sure to check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign review, as well as our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign tips if you want some pointers to help you through the co-op action RPG.
]]>The Guardian is the bird-headed tank class in Nightreign. I think the discourse surrounding his usefulness ultimately comes down to without getting the urge to run in and start whacking 👍things. As one player puts it, "Guardian is the best character when used in the right hands."
Another redditor , "If I waste my stamina attacking, I won't have enough left to block anything." This is an archetype that requires patience and teamwork. With the right relics, you can use The Guardian to aggro enemies and simply block a✱ll their attacks while your teammates go to town on them. "Big bird do🍸esn’t get the respect he deserves," another.
If your friends die, The Guardian's ultimate will send t🦂h🃏em flying into the sky before they crash back down, dealing area of effect damage to foes and simultaneously reviving your team. It's the kind of ability you don't think about until you really need it, then you'll wish you had it on your side.
All that being said, no one wants to rely on their teammates sucking for their own character 💫to b🏅e useful. And you could argue that it's better to simply deal more damage to bosses than it is to distract them, so I can see why the community is so split on this.
One p෴layer likes to use two-handed thanks to the strength bonus and its scaling. They claim it makes it better than any halberd, The Guardian's weapon of choice, so maybe give that a go if you're struggling to get utility out of the character.
People are 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:b🔜eating the game using just bare fists, thꦰough, so clearly The Guardian has to🥃 be at least somewhat good.

]]>Yoshida ꦛsays that he believes it's the challenging soulslike combat of Stellar Blade that's caused its success, in an in🎶terview with (translated by ). He also states that the technical aspects, graphics, and character designs are great, but it's the combat that's done the heavy lifting here.
Yoshida pla🌠yed a demo of the game back when it was still in development, and he loved the combat so much that he offered Shift Up an exclusivity deal with PlayStation.
While many have praised the game's combat – I found it to be a little lacking compared to other top soulslikes, but still t𒁏hought the boss fig🐼hts were visually very spectacular – Nexus Mods offers some insight into what PC players are really getting up to with Eve.
At the time of writing, of the , 95 are marked as being "Adult." 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:That's 15 more than yesterday. The mos🐲t-downloaded mod by far is tꦓhe "Eve with no clothes on (original proportions)" one. Not just the most-downloaded adult mod, but the top dog out of all 231, with just over 68,500 downloads.
One of the other top mods, named "Eve Bigger Natural," simply has the descไription "Yes, another nude Eve." So, the community knows what it's about. What Stellar Blade mods have you installed, huh?
Eve isn't the first character developer Shift Up has made that's attracted the attention of a lot of horned-up gamers. Its previous venture, Goddess of Victory: Nikke, also has scantily clad women. Nier creator Yoko Taro actual♛ly joked that he regrets doing a collaboration with the game because now, "many Nier cosplayers – esp🍎ecially those in more revealing outfits – started switching over to Nikke cosplay and stopped cosplaying Nier characters."

Meanwhile, Saito has made a statement of his own, saying there's been a mistranslation, and the devs weren🧸't restricted in any way, shape or form during the making of the Nier games.
Furthermore, he says he'd like to clarify further on another livestream, though when that'll happen remains to be seen. The root cause of the misunderstanding is a question on character designs. Yoko Taro began b🐬y stating they like to go against the grain wherever possible.
ああ、なんか知らないところで誤解?された上にフォローまでされていた!(誤訳?にもほどがある… つうか、ニーアなんて何ひとつ制限なんてつけてないやろが!!!そんな訳で、オートマトンさん、ありがとうございます!… //t.co/maBK7TBBN🍸d
"If western sci-fi is filled with marine-like soldiers, we might go in the opposite direction and use gothic lolita outfits, for example. We tend to take the contrarian route," he said at the t🍒ime.
Then, Saito added there are some things the🐬y avoid, but Automaton notes this is where the true mean𓂃ing of his words was lost in translation. The subtitles in question had translated his words as: "There are certain things that are ethically or morally inappropriate – even if they're just aspects of a character. We try to draw a line by establishing rules about what's acceptable and what's not."
Furthermore, he'd seemingly added: "While certain things might be acceptable in Japan, they could become problemaꦗtic in certain overseas regions. These are the kind of situations we usually try to avoid creating."
As Automaton says, this appears to be where some people got the wrong idea. The idea of acceptability came across as a hint ꦬof publisher interference or mandate, especially outside of Japan, rather than being abou🧸t societal expectations and what's considered gauche. If the subject interests you, it sounds like we’re getting another chance to dive into it very soon.
]]>The game's reveals that over 6,000 players penned a review over the last 30 days, but a whopping 75% of them gave Capcom's leather-gathering⭕ sim a thumbs down. Recent reviews now sit at a 'Mostly Negative' rating, while its overall rating is 'Mixed' based on more than 136,000 total reviews, only 61% of which are positive.
Scrolling dow🅺n the page of red reviews reveals that lots of people are still struggling to run Monster Hunter Wilds at a stable, consist🔯ent framerate, months after launch. Some players even claim that a recent update made things worse.
"Wanted to try and d👍o the new Akuma event, but whatever they've donꦏe to try and improve the game had basically bricked it for me" one user review . "I can't get above 15 FPS when I had no issues maintaining 60 at launch. It's like playing a slide show and I can't deal with it." Another elegantly that it has "poo poo performance."
Over on , players mostly echo the same sentiment: Monstꦕer Hunter Wilds is badly optimized for most PC rigs and Capcom hasn't done much to address complaints.
"It's probably heightened right now as the latest update has caused some💟 issues with compatibility for a lot of peoples PCs (most of which can be somewhat remedied by clearing and recompiling the shader cache)," one player claims. "Overall the update actually improved performance for a lot of peopleജ, myself included, though that's obviously on the anecdotal side."
]]>When I call Fallen Feathers a Soulsborne "clone," I mean that as the highest compliment; as a card-carrying FromSoftware sicko, I tend to bounce off most titles that are clearly heavily inspired by Dark Souls, but unwilling to steal its best parts for the sake of originality. Fallen Feathers isn't like that – Fallen Feathers is bold, adopting FromSoftware's si⛎gnature mix of dark fantasy, body horror, and wily motherfucke🐟rs trying to kill you and dropping them all into its joyless version of the Ming Dynasty.
The – naturally, poreless, D-cup – pirate war✅rior Wuchang doesn't remember how she ended up nearly topless and bleeding in a sick house reminiscent of Bloodborne's Oedon Chapel, but she soon finds out: she's been impacted by the Feathering, a hideous disease that slowly morphs humans into deranged monsters – again, like Bloodborne🐠.
I also sense similarities between Wuchang and Sekiro's ninja protagonist, who requires players to act with more calm and cool than my typical roll-spamming involves. Our beautiful heroine – whose design I find appealing to me as a woman the same way a fashion model is appealing, and not 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:lazily exploitative – performs lengthy and deliberate attack animations from far distances, so I learn to con♛trol her with the mind of a fox looking for an opportunity to bite.
That is, when I'm not totally ignoring the boss fight I'm supposed to complete during this demo and hyperfixating on this random guard who keeps making me upset. I don't know what it is about him that has ﷽me completely transfixed for most of my approximately 40 minutes with Wuchang: Fallen Feathers – maybe it's the glint in his too-attentive eye. ꦓThe second I dare to put one toe into a 10-foot radius around him, overcome by the need to know what's behind the closed gate he's protecting, he snaps.
Time and time again, he decimates my measly heath bar, matching my resolute Wuchang's insistent barrage of attacks with animations that seem even more aggressive, drawn-out, and downright rude. Doesn't he know I have a boss to fight and can't waste my time with this?!
But, of course, each time I die to this inconsequential enemy that's obviously guarding an🍨 area I'm way too weak to even think about, I only get more stubborn. I know I can do it. I know it!
But first, a quick break to enjoy the scenery, which features pretty woodlands and losers to mu𓆉rder without remorse. I slide over to this guy that always respawns with half health – what a nerd! I p♍ractice Wuchang's ballet-like special attacks on him to boost my confidence before jogging over to where I dropped Fallen Feathers' version of "souls," or Elden Ring's runes. The sight of them reminds me I'm getting dangerously cozy with my Inner Demon.
As a unique iteration on the first Dark Souls' Hollowing effect, Fallen Feathers utilizes the Inner Demon System, which makes it so each kill you collect and death you suffer boost your strength while lowering your defences until, finally, out comes a literal demoness you have to defeat in order to continue. It's a clever mechanism – it tells me developer Leenzee has internalized the FromSof🍃tware formula enough to even evolve its atmosphere, the most intangible, misty gray quality of a Soulslike. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers could be only a successful clone, but it seems to have its own soul, too.
And mine has just left my body – finally, I've killed the armored guard, that bastard. See, it was easy! I told you I could do it! Now, let me find out what's behind this door he's been concealing… Oh, I ca✅n't open it. It looks like I'm missing a key.
Well, if it doesn't make you ponder your own idio🐽cy, then is it even Dark Souls?
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is 🦋out on July 23 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and P💃C.
With Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Chinese studio Leenzee aims to soar to the heights of its field.
]]>Everyone expected Stellar Blade, which has gone to great lengths in-game and in trailers to show off female protagonist Eve, to get a lot of NSFW mods. Even when the PC port was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:just a Steam de🍌mo, it had plenty of nude mods🍌 and the like. But even I'm surprised by just how many adult mods there are and 🦩how much traction they've gotten.
I'm going to focus on Nexus Mods here, because while it isn't the only place to get mods, it is the biggest mod site there is, so it's a pretty good data source. I'll also focus on total downloads as an indication of tra🍎ffic, partly because they're more commonly used for mod rankings, and ღpartly because unique downloads can vary dramatically based on a range of factors.
At the time of writing, Stellar Blade has . Of those, 80 are marked as "Adult" mods, with many of them being loud-and-proud pornographic or nudity mods, and with others mostly adding outfits that would still definitely get you kicked out🦄 of an Olive Garden. I'm not going to link or embed any of these for obvious reasons. If you want to see them, make a free Nexus Mods account so they show up in the listings, and knock yourself out.
The top five most-downloaded Stellar Blade mods are all adult mods, and the title of the current champion, at 58,000 downloads, is so blindingly on-the-nose that I simply have to share it: "Eve with no Clothes on." I mean, you can't say they aren't giving the people what they want. (Fun fact: this was at 57,800 downloads when I st🎃arted writing this article about 40 minutes ago.)
I pulled out the total download figures for the current top 30 adult Stellar B🌠lade mods, and one day after the PC port's release on June 11, fans have already downloa⭕ded just these 30 mods over 351,000 times. Granted, some of these mods were released upwards of a week ago, but most of them were updated recently, and the mod scene only really took off with the full release.
We can't use a banana for scale here, so to compare these figures, let's look at Nier Automata, a game that directly inspired Stellar Blade and which developer Shift Up has been buddy-buddy with at any opportunity. Even Nier Automata boss Yoko Taro joked that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码🎃历史查询:maybe he shouldn't have done that 🔥collab, seeing as 🍬how many cosplayers are now dressing as S🎀hift Up characters instead of Nier's.
Nier: Automata was released on PC in 2017, and its most-downloaded mods go back to 2018. None of🐼 its top 10 mods are marked as adult; instead, they're a bunch of texture, performance, and helper mods.
This helps demonstrate why this is a useful but very imperfect comparison. Nier Automata was busted as a can of biscuits when it launched on PC, so players turned to mods to help put﷽ it back together. Stellar Blade doesn't have that problem at all, so players have been freer to run wild elsewhere. There's also the question of how difficult it is to mod these games. (Nier Replicant, a much better PC port, has a much smaller Nexus Mods community with just five adult mods, so it's not a good comparison either.)
That being said, if♑ we look at the top 30 adult Nier Automata mods on Nexus Mods, we'll find just over 505,000 downloads. The oldest among these mods go back to early 2020, which shrinks the 8-year gap a little bit, but may also demonstrate the d⛄ifferent audience appetites here. Nier Automata may have a "destroy skirt" button, but it wasn't as sexualized as Stellar Blade.
Additionally, there are only 68 adult Nier Automata mods listed. Granted, eight yea🍃rs is plenty of time for mods to get removed for whatever reason, and Nier Automata has undoubtedly seen many more adult mods across the entire internet.
Even so, this is pretty convincing evidence that Stellar Blade's PC audience is, as many suspected, quite above-average on the horny scale. The game has more adult mods than most games – 80 out of 203 total mods, compared to 68 out of 581 for Nier Automata – and they ar♏e high-ranking.
After one day, the total downloads on Stellar Blade's top 30 NSFW Nexus Mods creations are just 30% behind Nier Automata's top 30 adult mods despite the latter being years older. I would only expect this trend to grow from here as players get more comfortabl🙈e modding the game.
]]>As the proud owner of a Steam Deck, I had some doubts about the personal enjoyment I could get out of a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 port, but at the same time, I was extremely curious about how well it could possibly run on what's ultimately a beefed꧑-up tablet. If this was a serious effort to bring a cutting-edge AAA title to Nintendo's new hybrid console at launch, the rest of the generation could look very promising. Now, 10 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 – I've imported my main PC save – I can confidently say it's easily the best way to play it on the go.
As crisp-looking and smooth as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World is, Cyberpunk 2077 is the ultimate way to push the Switch 2 to its limits right now. It's the one game that will make your jaw drop once or twice because it almost feels illegal to have something that looks this goo🌸d running on 'puny' Nintendo hardware. It's not just an excellent rendition of tꦇhe game as seen in all its glory on current-gen platforms and PC, but also a perfectly fine way to enjoy it for the first time... as long as you don't mind some rough edges.
澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 review: "We're in for an excellent generation"
Whereas the (admittedly impressive) Switch port of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 by Saber Interactive had to dial the visual presentation so much that it inevi🌠tably ended up looking different, like a PSP-era adaptation of a big PS3 release, CD Projekt Red's Switch 2 debut can be described as the developer coming out swinging.
We can thank the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:console's DLSS capabilities for that, but it's also clear the developer made a ton of platform-specific optimizations in order to ensure it's the real deal. Mind you, the game can chug in certain areas, including the infamous center of Dogtown and some of Night City's busier districts. Just walking or driving slowly around those parts will send the framerate below the 30 FPS cap (40 if you're on Performance mode). Try cruising fast through them and you might get proper hiccups and stutters; the RAM and CPU just can't keep up in s🌠uch scenarios. Still, none of these slowdowns last too long, and it's safe 🦩to say Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 lands closer to the Xbox Series S and low-spec modern PC experience than PS4 & Xbox One's nightmarish versions. 1080p through DLSS gets the job done here thanks to the extra sharpening involved too.
Many gamers who don't care much about settings and whatnot might also be wondering which graphics mode is best. Short answer: There's no clear winner here. Long answer: Quality looks noticea🌌bly sharper, with image that resolves more convincingly when it comes to finer details, but the extra 10 FPS (rarely constant, I must say) that come with Performance can help a great deal with the overall fluidity, especially in heated action sequences.
I'm typically a staunch defender of going with more FPS 99% of the time, yet I found myself leaning towards Quality because Performance rarely hits 40 FPS for more than a few seconds, making the loss in visual fidelity harder to swallow. Playing a first-person game at 30 FPS (with drops below possible) might seem bad, but at the time of writing, it's the more consistent experience, especially on handheld mode (澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:VRR isn't a thing when docked). As for load times, don't worry about them.
When it comes to presentation, the big win is that Cyberpunk 2077 looks very much like Cyberpunk 2077. Even when you take away the sweet sweet high framerate which you can get elsewhere and fancy ray tracing, what's left on Switch 2 looks convincing and retains every delicious bit of the stunning art direction, w𒅌hether it's the streets at night, the sleek vehicles, or a crowded market under the rain. Neither duller nor barren, this is Night City as I've experienced it for tens of hours on PC and PS5 before.
On the po🍌rtable PC handhelds, similar visuals and performance are achievable (and DLSS still gives Switch 2 the upper hand), but the big difference is that Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 runs and looks fine out of the box. You can even load up cross-saves in mere seconds. There are gameplay, sound, and accessibility options you can tinker with, but hitting the ground running feels great.
On top of HDR support and spatial audio that wows even in portable mode, the Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 comes with all the bells and whistles that Nintendo spent some time marketing ahead of launch. Gyroscope enjoyers can get better precision with that aiming mode, and the console's mouse capabilities, while not ideal when playing at 30 or 40 FPS, are present too. While I'm not a fan of the latter in this game, it's a great showcase of what the console can do outside of shinier graphics and denser worlds, and made me very ꦉexcited about the future of first-person and str🔥ategy games on Switch 2.
If you like tablets a bit too much, the touch screen works in menus and for actions like hacking so you can go all Tom Cruise in Minority Report instead of using the buttons♈ like a normal gamer. In most cases, it's hard to imagine the average player messing with these options too much, but it's good to see CDPR going this deep and all-out with one of the console's launch titles. It sets a golden standard for big third-party ports moving forward, warts and all, and that's ultimately good for consumers.
Cyberpunk 2077 on the Nintendo Switch 2 could've been a curiosity, a fun experiment with somewhat middling results. Instead, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:it's a promise of greater things to come a𒈔nd a bar to match or clear going forward. With new updates and more polishing surely on the way, I find it hard to get too hung up on the♉ rockier performance moments of a port that really feels like black magic.
If you can stomach some bumps in the roജad and deal with less snappy aim, there's no better option to 𝓰take Night City everywhere you want. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to replay Phantom Liberty again to try and get the best ending this time around.
We've rated the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Switch 2 games you can play now (and yes, Cyberpunk 2077 made the cut)
]]>Bonded by some kind of humiliation kink, the Elden Ring community is no stranger to outrageously tough challenge runs. Countless fans have tried to beat the already difficult꧃ game without taking a single hit, without levelling up, without using a weapon, or all of the above, just to name a few challenges.
But streamer Scumnut is easily one of the most dedicated challenge runners out there, and boy, that's a competitive field. You might remember him as the guy who beat the Shadow of the Erd☂tree DLC on New Game+ 1,000🦩, without using Scadutree Blessings or any status effects, in under eight hours, no less.
Though a quick scroll through Scumnut's channel shows he's played Elden Ring in almost every waℱy there is to play Elden Ring. . With a weapon randomizer. By . Phew, just 🔯the thought is making me shiver.
Scumnut is now taking on Elden Ring Nightreign by himself, using nothing but his bare fists to punch the co-op game's outsized monsters in comical fashion. His first seven-and-a-half hour stream sees him defeat three of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign's bosses, the big Nightlo🐭rౠds that show up at the end of every round, and he only failed two runs in that entire time.
Seriously, the streamer barely breaks a sweat the entire time. By the end, he notes that "this s**t's not that bad" and tells chat "we're speeཧdrunning this." God bless, soldier.
Here's all the best weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign for every character.
]]>In Nightreign, if you’re extremely lucky, you might find the Cord End. It's a small item that occasi🌳onally spawns i🔯n one of the churches. And by occasionally, I mean 0.035% of the time, once every 2,857 runs or so.
Useless on its own, the Cord End unlocks a door beneath the castle. In there, you won't fi▨nd some godlike weapon or elixir of life. Just three Sacrificial Twigs, items that let you keep yo꧂ur runes after death. Handy, yes, but they seem like a small reward for essentially winning the lottery.
As much has spurred the community to investigate further. Multip𝓰le theories are going around, the most compelling of which, to me at least, is the notion of the twigs being . They both mention a "cutting-gifted tribe," suggesting they're both part of some elaborate sequence.
There are o🔜ther ideas, such as that of having a specific party of three to equip the items. However, the problem is that the drop is so rare; investigating further is prohibitively difficult without a mod of some sort to uncover the Cord End more often.
Dataminers, including Zullie the Witch, are 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:looking through Nightreign's innard꧅s at the moment. Not for this specifically, but if there's any suggestion of where this leads, it's likely𝔍 to be signposted quickly. Of course, a possibility is it leads nowhere. This is FromSoftware, obtuseness is part of the territory. Watch this space.
]]>Indeed, squint while you look at Azaran: Islands of the Jinn, developed by Benji, and you'd be forgiven for thinking you were looking at The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Azaran definitely has its own unique twists and designs, but its heart piece is one that beats for those classics. You can play a chunk of the game's opening dungeon for yourself as well (check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Next Fest guide for more on this season's demo hunting).
Wrecked in an archipelago and on the hunt for a magical astrolabe, the demo for Azaran: Islands of the Jinn throws you into the tutorial dungeon with nary an item to your name. Which mean this opening slice plays out like a lot of early Zelda dungeons, having you track down simple items to unravel your route through the dungeon. Eventually, though, I pick up both a sword and shield, a bow, and some bombs – Azaran thrౠows a lot at you quickly, meaning I wonder how it wi🐎ll be paced past this point.
Plenty scratches that Zelda itch, from the puzzle design to the little roll you can do as you run around, and even the way the camera acts when you walk from room to room. In combat, the lock-on even feels an awful lot like Z-targeting in the Nintendo 64 Zelda games. Even the sound design has a crunchy, compressed edge. I love it. Yet, at the same time, the Arabian-nights style theming gives Azaran it s own personality, and a friendly approach💎 to how arrows, bombs, and the like are doled out keeps things moving. I do wish there was a map, though, which seems curiously absent in the demo.
While this opening dungeon ends right before what seems to be its final boss, teasing the full experience, there is a mi🎶ni-boss encounter.𝓰 It's a fun encounter with a bit of a gimmick to it beyond the shield-blocking and sword-slashing that you use to deal with other enemies. Spinning around, it's a bomb-flinging jar. Having to pick up the exploding projectiles and throw them back in feels like peak 90s boss design to me, which is exactly what Azaran is going for.
There's still a lot I don't know about Azaran, but this short but sweet opening dungeon is off to a promising start. Just having the controller in my hands and running around the space felt like a homecoming to the Nintendo 64 style classic games of old – and exactly what I've been craving modern Zelda returns to for a long time. That's why I end❀ed up spending over $400 on a Nintendo Switch 2, after all – just to play The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker again. I can't wait to see more from Azaran – which promisesꦏ lots more 🌊dungeons and items, and a "tropical-themed" overworld.
launches on PC at a date to be announced.
At the time of writing, Stellar Blade is at a concurrent player count of 105,975, according to . As spotted by , this absolutely smashes the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut of 77,000 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:God of War's 73,000.
It's not just got a lot of players, but almost 3,000 reviews giving it ♛an "Overwhelmingly Positive" overall score. People are loving it.
With the PlayStation-published Helldivers 2 having previously hit a peak of on Steam, Stellar Blade is still a l🦹ong way off stealing its crown, but to be fair, Arrowhead's game is multiplayer. Stellar Blade is still winning the single-player competition.
To say this reception was expected would be an understatement. Stellar Blade was the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:third best-selling game on Steam a week before its launch, and even the demo had rave reviews. One player claims they got 120fps on max sett💜ings with a RTX 3070 – that's a five-year-old graphics cardꦓ.
As well as the demo getting love from players, it also had mods, and I'm sure you can a🐻lready see where I'm going 🌺with this. The top three mods on Nexus ▨Mods were: Nude Inners𒊎uit, Eve Skinsuit SemiNude, and EVE_09_lucency – which is the semi nude mod but with Eve in a trenchcoat, too.
Cu💃rrently, the most-popular mod is one that swaps Eve and Tachy, and in second place is one that further improves the game's PC performance. There's also one that adds a helmet that kind of looks like Bunny's from The First Descendant.
Nier creator 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Yoko Taro recently joked that he regretted his collaboration between his own characters and Stellar Blade developer Shift Up's🉐, but now that the game is on PC, modders can add any outfits they can dream up int♋o the game.
In the meantime, check out the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best PC games you can play right now.
]]>Stellar Blade spent a good amount of this week right at the top of the charts, vying with a soulslike MMORPG ♚revival for the very top 𝄹spot. But looking at those same charts today, Stellar Blade is nowhere to be seen. Despite having dominated during the first half of the week, Stellar Blade's official release yesterday means that it's no longer eligible - all three of Steam Next Fest's major charts "only include games not yet released on Steam." Stellar Blade no longer falls into that category, so it's no lon🥀ger on the charts.
You can still play the demo, but the removal of one of the biggest entries means that t🅺he Steam Next Fest hierarchy is in a pretty wild state of flux right now. And while that MMO I mentioned is still sitting pretty high in the charts, one particular game is really taking advantage of Stellar Blade's absence.
That game would be Jump Ship, a co-op FPS in which you and up to three friends act as the crew of a spaceship. Engaging in both space combat and on-the-ground fights, the real selling point of Jump Ship is its seamless transitions from space to ship to planet. That's the kind of thing I really hoped 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Starfield would be able to offer in place o🐓f its repeated loading screens and limited landing spots. While Jump Ship is admittedly not an RPG, a co-op reimagining of the game I wꦅanted Starfield to be is certainly a compelling pitch.
And that's something that I seem to not be alone in thinking. Jump Ship is currently in the top five on all three of Next Fest's major charts, and is currently right at the top of the wishlist charts. Interesting, in the player count-driven 'top demos' chart, it's in third place right behind a very similar proposition - Wildgate, a ship-to-ship combat game that seems to come with a touch of REPO energy. Clearly, between that and Stellar Bla﷽de, the Steam Next Fest players yearn for the stars.
Take a look at our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stellar Blade review to see if you fancy the jump to PC.
]]>Zenless Zone Zero update 2.0 introduced the Waifei Peninsula, a separate area filled with new characters. In one early Season 2 quest, which I actually completed just last night, you're introduced to Komano Manat🍌o, a tall Thiren guy – one of ZZZ's furry-lite beast-people, and seemingly a dog or wolf Thire🍌n specifically – whose broad chest is threatening to escape his undershirt.
Even I thought to myself, dang, this guy is ripped, so of course the Zenless husband collectors have pounced on K🐠omano, pu🃏tting his model through extremely scientific testing to deduce, yes, he does have jiggle physics.
from
Like many but not all gacha games, the big HoYoverse titles – 😼Genshin, Zenless, and Honkai: Star Rail – have a history of releasing relatively few playable male characters. This routinely stokes arguments of 'waifu pandering' in their communities, with folks who like the men desperate for some fan service themselves.
I've been out of the loop for a while, but as I catch up at a glance, Star Rail actually has a pretty commendable roster of gorgeous guys. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Genshin has some hot and powe🅷rful men as well, but it's on a dude dry spell right now, and n♍otoriously limits many of its male models to frail, twiggy boys that would lose to a strong breeze and who Komano could probably curl with one arm.
Zenless, to its credit, already had some well-built dudes like Lycaon and Lighter among its comparatively small roster, not to mention literal bears like Big Ben and 2.0's Pan Yinyu. Komano, who isn't yet playable but certainly has ⛦the look of a character that HoYo wants to sell, is the clearest musclebound hunk yet.
Almost every character in 🐼Zenless is sexualized to some degree. In a weird way, this keeps things tonally consistent, and lots of characters do own and flaunt their sexiness. With arms wider than the waists of some characters, Komano is built like a bus in a leather jacket, thinly dressed underneath it, and by far the jiggliest of the m♔en – and, coincidentally, pretty popular. (And before anyone says anything, yes, even firm and muscular chests will jiggle and squish!)
"I’ll take ꦓ6 of them, thank you," of Komano's newly discovered jiggle physics.
"I'm looking respectfully, I 𓃲swear," insists anot♛her.
"Proof that the devs listen," to a separཧate thread in another Zenless Reddit community.
