Marvel Comics has unveiled the second part of its Extreme Carnage event, in what the publisher now says will be a 🦩series of one-shots, each focusing on a different symbiote 'child' of Venom.

The announcement of the second and third one-shots, Extreme Carnage: Scream and Extreme Carnage: Phage, come hot on the heels of Marvel's reveal that the ♊newly resurrected Flash Thompson will appear in🔯 the story, starting in the Extreme Carnage♈: Alpha #1 kick-off ♐one-shot.

"Collectively called the Life Foundation, symbiotes Scream, Phage, Riot, Lasher, and Agony have tried to reconcile th🐼e sometimes-noble intentions of their hosts with their often-bloodthirsty impulses🅷," reads Marvel's description.

Extreme Carnage: Phage ♏is written by Steve Orlando and illustrated by Gerardo S⛎andoval.

"As a young reader in the '90s, no event was bigger and more blockbuster for me than  ✨;- between the console games and the comic stories, it was an entire chapter of my life!" says Orlando in Marvel's announcement." So to be part of Extreme Carnage, and work with the Life Foundation Symbiotes (who also popped into my life early thanks to SNES) is beyond exciting!"

Orlando wrote a Toxin short storꦏy in this week's .

"Carnage's new plan is about to upend our world from its bedrock, and being able to explore how 🌊Phage fits into that world has been a great moment. He'll come out of our issue with a power and charisma even more terrifying than before - and trust me, he'll live up to his name in the first five pages alone!"

Writer Clay McLeod Chapman and artist Chri🦩s Mooneyham will reun💃ite for Extreme Carnage: Scream, having previously created the title together.

"Andi Benton has always been a fighter, and that's never been truer than since she bonded to the Scream symbiote a few months ago," reads Marvel's description of Extreme Carnage: Scream. "But even after and , Andi has never had to fight like this — and, worse still, if she can't save her symbiote from whatever unseen force is affecting i🤡t, she might have to do it alone…"

Chapman himself chimes in with the announcement, relishing 💦his chance to pick up his ongoing narrative of the symbiote Scream and its human host Andi 🌜Benton.

"Extreme Carnage is a dream—scream?—come true. Not only am I utterl♉y in awe of the sheer talent involved in mapping out this massive event, but I feel honored to be able to return to the character of Scream and further explore the complex relationship dynamics between them and Andi Benton," states Chapman.

"These two characters have such a profound bond with one another, whether fused together or torn apart, that every time I𝕴 get to tell another chapter in their legacy feels like an immen🦹se privilege. Viva la Scream!"
