Universal executive Holly Bario has been name🌟d as the new executive VP production at the studio, and we couldn’t be h✨appier.

She’s overseen some of the studio's best comedies over the past ten years, including Bruce Almighty, Meet the Parents, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, so we’ll let her off for You, Me and Dupree. And the first two inst✤alments of The Fast and the Furious franchise.

The news comes as a good sign for Evan Almighty, which, despite its record-breaking budget, must be good if Universal are prepare⛦d to promote Bario, who’s overseeing the project.

Universal president of production Donna Langley had plenty of nice things to say: “Holly is a tremendous asset to Universal꧑. She understands that magical balance that brings comedy to life while also having a firm grasp of all the realities of development and production. She is generous with her counsel, a terrific team leader and has wonderful relationships with filmmakers, talent and colleagues throughout our industry.
