Resident Evil 4

OK, so RE4 did happen – but there's mor♏e to it than that. The very first version was so different from previous Resident Evils, Capcom decided to spin it off into an original title: Devil May Cry. When the next version was shown in 2002, it involved Leon doing battle with ghosts inside a mansion and on board an Umbrella Corporation airship. And so🐓mewhere between those two titles was yet another completely different version, never seen outside of Capcom.

Comeback chance?
The lost versions are locked away in Capcom's vaults,🙈 a shame considering the amoꦅunt of work that obviously went into them. But at least we got DMC and the final, approved RE4.
