Don Johnson signs for Django Unchained
Plays plantation-owning slave prostitute pimp
Don Johnson has signed up for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, but it took a hell of a lot of persuading.
Tarantino has spent t𝔉he past four months convincing Johnson to take on one of the script’s most controversial parts, and it seems he’s 🔜finally got his man.
Despite the fact Johnson’s already played a racist in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete , Don considered Unchained 🔜’s Spencer Bennett even more irredeemable and was wary of taking on 🦩the role.
Which is fair enough – Bennett is a rich plantation owner who forces his slaves into prostitution. Not exactly the sort of man you'd want to be associated with for the r💛est of your life.
But🐓 unless Don changes his mind ( ) he’ll join what’s shaping up to✅ be an incredible cast, who will be delivering what's arguably Tarantino's best script.
Which, when you consider the fact Don's last film was Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, will make a very nice change.
