It’s been a while since we had an update on SyFy's Superman spin-off series, Krypton. Howev🀅er, David Goyer has been talking to about the new show, revealing that it is still in development and giving an insight into the thinking be𒁃hind the prequel.

“Part of the fun of doing Man Of Steel - and I was so insistent on setting that opening on Krypton and really seeing it - was p𒀰ulling back the curtain,” ex🌺plains Goyer. “The first draft, the first forty pages were on Krypton, so we compressed that all down to fifteen minutes and there were a lot of ideas that I wanted to use in the film that didn’t ultimately make it into the film.”

“In terms of production value, you have to pick your moments,” he continues. “Should we make the show there will definitely be some big moments. It won’t be wall to wall visual effects every single moment, spectacle, in the way that the film will be, but we’ll𒆙 also be digging into the characters and the culture a lot more.”

Goyer hinted that there would be an official announcem🌞ent about the show’s future in due course, so hopefully this one will be on the horizon sooner rather than later.
