Daniel Espinosa to direct Assassins Creed?

The most eagerly awaited videogame adaptation in years may have found its director: ’s Daniel Espinosa could be about to sign on to direct the movie version of .

According to Twitch Film , 20th Century Fox has chosen Espinosa to take charge of the big-screen version of Assassin’s Creed , w♉itꦬh Michael Fassbender attached to star in and produce the film.

He has recently directed the soon-to-be-released Child 44 , and has been attached to Liam Neeson’s Gang Story and an adaptation of John Grisham’s The Racketeer.

For those that haven’t played the (awesome) game, Assassin’s Creed tells the story of a present-day man who has descended from a long line of assassins and who uses a machine to relive the memories of his ancestor Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad, who fought in the Thir🐓d 💜Crusade.

The assassins in the game series are all highly skilled, incorporating elements of parkour as they cꦜarry out their planned kills.

Which means that Fassbender needs to be putting in some serious training ahꦿead of the film’s 6 August 2015 release date.
