Virtual soldiers have been waging digital 💙warfare for some time now, so it's only natural that some of the umpteen thousands of games dedicated to modern warfare are starting to𒉰 feel a little similar. Agree? Disagree? Criticizing one genre for its cliches may be a tad unfair considering 99.97% of modern games are a melting pot of repurposed plot points, themes and game mechanics. Stil🅺l, Cracked does make a few points, even if most of the infographic takes a birds eye view at the genre.
Maybe it's time to start trying something new like making a game about war in space? With marines. And lasers. Just a thought.
