Niels Arden Oplev, the director of the original Swedish adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo , is set to get his latest project underway.

Dead Man Down , a blackmail revenge story, has a screenplay penned by J.H. Wyman, the writer of hit sci-fi television series Fringe .

Colin Farrell will star as a gangster, while Noomi Rapace, who played Lisbeth in Oplev’s adaptation of the first instalment of the Millennium trilogy, will play his mysterious seducer.

💦The film’s prodꦬucer, Neal H. Moritz, who's currently working on the Total Recall reboot with Colin Farrell, had the following to say:
