CMA clearance paves the way for Microsoft's acquisition to complete: "We're excited for the next chapter together"

Microsoft’s president, Brad Smith, had a similarly optimistic sentiment in a statement posted to : "We have now crossed the final regulatory hurdle to close this💯 acquisition, which we believe will benefit players and the gaming industry worldwide."

Following almost two years of court battles and regulatory back and forths, the acquisition will seemingly close very soon, ౠputting Activision Blizzard (and King) under Microsoft’s ownership.
