Bruce Willis says Die Hard: Year One is a "really cool idea"
It looks as though the Die Hard prequel-cum-sequel, Die Hard: Year One is moving forwards, with Bruce Willis set to appear in tandem with a younger v𒉰ersion of ass-kicking cop, John McClane. While the premise has attracted some criticism from fans and pundits alike, Willis is apparently fully on board with the idea.
To recap, the new film will largely be set in the ‘70s, where𒆙 we’ll see how the young McCl🦩ane came to be such a badass in the first place. That narrative will then be spliced together with a present-day adventure, with Willis back in the saddle as everyone’s favourite singlet-sporting maverick.
. “It's a really cool idea, because it's the origin story. It's gonna happen at the beginning of this. We're going to bounce back and forth.” Sounds like it’s a done deal, then. Live Free Or Die Hard director Len Wiseman is🎉 currently working with producer Lorenzo DiBonaventura to bring the project to life, with no release date confirmed꧑ as yet.Bringing all♏ the latest movie news, features, and reviews to your inbox
