British Airways set to bring back Silent Picturehouse
Unique screenings held at a L🅷ondon e𝄹vent in July 2013
British Airways are bringing back Silent Picturehouse - a screening programme of travel-inspired films with an audio twist.
The films’ll be shown in a London venue in July 2013, with Edith Bowman on hand to host the launch night.
The twist is that viewers will listen to the films via personal headsets, in an effort to replicate the in-flight experience (and ensure that you’re not bothered by other people chatting or gnashing popcorn during the f̶l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ screening).

To celebrate the release of Disney's Planes (in cinemas August 16), a selection of Disney films will be shown for children during the day. Tickets start at £7.50 (including food and drink), and will be available from from 24 June 2013.
Edith Bowman said in a statement, “I was involved in the very first Silent Picturehouse in 2010, and I’m delighted that British Airways is bringing it back. Watching films is one the great pleasures of flying, and bringing this experience to the ground promises to be a lot of fun.
“It’s also a great event to take your kids along to during the summer holidays, showing everyone’s favourite Disney films during the day.”
