It’s only 24 hours away (and by the time you read this the SFX team might just be racing down to Camber Sands) but we’ve got another exciting 11th hour announcement for you. Brian Muir, the master sculptor responsibl⛦e for creating Darth Vader’s iconic helmet (from artwork by Ralph McQuarrie of course) and the original Stormtr﷽ooper armour will be coming to the SFX Weekender, and he’ll be bringing along an original Vader helmet to prove it.
During over 40 years spent working in the film industry Muir has worked on some of the most iconic sci-fi movies ever made: Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Superman, Alien, Dark Crystal, Clash O꧙f The Titans, The Princess Bride, Planet Of The Apes, Return To Oz, need I say more? Most recently the British artist finished working on Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince and has moved on to Wall-E director Andrew Stanton’s much anticipated adaptation of John Carter Of Mars.
