2K Games and Gearbox🔥 Software have officially booked their return trip to the loot-filled planet of Pandora, announcing the arrival of Borderlands 2 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC as early as next spring.

Scheduled for release in fiscal 2013 - that is,the year begin꧃ning April 1st, 2012 - the sequel to Gearbox's 2009 cel-shadedℱ shooter-RPG will star a new cast of characters and enemies, fresh gear, new skills, improved AI, a tweaked mission system, and previously unplundered parts of Pandora. Once again, players will be able to form teams of four and, as 2K Games describes, %26ldquo;Reveal secrets, and escalate mysteries of the Borderlands universe as they adventure across the unexplored new areas of Pandora.%26rdquo;

The first🍃 promo pics for Gearbox's follow-up can be found on the newly launched, and more details are set to arrive with the next issue of, which features Borderland 2 as its September cover stor🅷y. The game will also be shown off later this month in itsmost current form atin Cologne, Germany, from August 17th to 21st; and again atin Seattle, Washington, from August 26th to 28th.
