What to expect from Black Friday Warhammer deals 2025

The event itself may be severalไ months away, but Black Friday Warhammer deals are worth preparing for. That's because it's your best chance to grab everything from 40K kits to Age of Sigmar boxes🧔 at a hefty discount.

In fact, there's almost too much choice. That's why the GamesRadar+ team and I are on hꦛand to find you the best reductions, when the time comes. We♛'ll continue to do so as long as bargains are available, so you should find something to suit you here regardless of whether you're a newcomer or a hobby veteran this November. Most game systems (be it 40K, Age of Sigmar, or Underworlds) are represented here too.

We've also listed some adv💟ice on how to make the most of this sale🉐, and these tips have been built up over years of experience. Because Warhammer is typically very difficult to find at a discount (and even then it's frequently hidden from view due to disorganized listings at major retailers like Amazon), it should hopefully come in useful. Let's get started, shall we? For the Emperor!

So, what sort of Black Friday Warhammer deals are we going to see in the year of our Emperor 2025? The answer depends on where𝓡 you look. (We'll get into that in a minute.) I can guess what we're going to see a little more accurately though, so here's what I'm anticipating from the sale.

🏪 Make a beeline for independent retailers
The best place to find actual Black Friday Warhammer deals wo💛uld be smaller, independent stockists. The likes of Miniature Market in the 🏅US or the UK's Magic Madhouse are always discounting GW products, and there's no way in hell they won't be doing the same thing again for this year's sale.

🆕 Most savings will be on new or recent releases
Because the biggest r♚eductions can be found a🉐t independent retailers with a smaller capacity, most of the savings to watch out for will be found on items from the past year or so.

💰 Don't expect an official sale
Black Friday Warhammer deals are guaranteed... but if we're talking about Games Workshop itself, you may wind up being disappointed - the company doesn't tend to do sales li🐓ke that in-house. Rather, they more commonly offer bonuses such as the '' promotion for anyon🌞e signed up to the GW newsletter.

🎁 Big retailers will focus on starter and boxsets
Approach Amazon, Walmart, and the rest with tempered expectations. While their range isn't as broad (the more mainstream the product is, the more likely you are to find it), you can practically guarantee some money off starter sets for both Age of Sigmar and 40K. These are some of the few items that always to be in stock no matter what, so a reduction is basically guaranteed - it certainly has been over the past several years. Kill Team core boxes also appear here on the regular, so I'd be surprised i🌄f they weren't cut in price even just a little.

Last year's best Black Friday Warhammer deals

Image

Kill Team: Hivestorm | $230 $187.97 at Amazon
Save $42 - This wasn't far off the lowest price I've seen for this boxset, and even though it fluctuated over Black Friday, it was still an outrageously good deal on something that'd only just come out. It's crammed with stuff as well so is pretty excellent value.

UK price: £145 £126.85 at Zatu

Image

Underworlds: Embergard | $100 $85 at Miniature Market
Save $15 - Seeing as it'd only just been announced and wasn't even out yet, being able to save a full $15 on the new edition of Underworlds was worth paying attention to. I doubt you'd find it for less elsewhere.

UK price: £67.50 £54 Hobby Workshop

Image

Warhammer 40K Ultimate Starter Set | $210 $176.49 at Amazon
Save $33.50 - If you were after something a bit more substantial than the regular 10th ed. Start Set, then the Ultimate version was probably for you. At this price, it wasn't far off being the cheapest we've seen it.

UK price: £130 £104 at Hobby Workshop

Space Marine 2 (PS5) | $69.99 $49.99 at Amazon
Save $20 - Looking to take the grimdark to your TV? So far as I can tell, this video game adaptation of the Warhammer universe had never been cheaper than it was here. A cracking way to kick off this year's Black Friday Warhammer deals.

UK price: £59.99 £37.99 at Argos

Space Marine 2 (Xbox Series X) | $69.99 $49.99 at Amazon
Save $20 - If you play on Xbox, you could also save a bunch on the latest Space Marine game. According to price-matching, it'd never been available for less.

UK price: £59.99 £37.99 at Argos

Age of Sigmar Skaventide | $265 $210 at Walmart
Save $55 -
While not listed as being on sale at Walmart, the store was offering the Skaventide box set at the lowest price out of the big retailers, beating Amazon's $221 price tag. It's a discount of just over 20% compared to Game Workshop's retail price of $265, which is a pretty tasty deal when it comes to Warhammer.

UK price: £160 £128 at Element Games

Image

Age of Sigmar Ultimate Starter Set | $210 $178.50 at Amazon
Save $30 - Considering how this one had only just come out, that kind of price cut was very eye-catching. That seems to be a record-low price as well, so you literally can't do better.

UK price: £130 £104 at Wayland Games

The Army Painter Fanatic Wargamers Paint Set | $452 $336 at Amazon
Save $116 - Besides being a record-low price in honor of this year's Black Friday Warhammer deals, that's a pretty ridiculous level of value. You're getting 102 paints here, and because they're from esteemed company The Army Painter, you know you're getting quality.

UK price: £312 £259.99 at Travelling Man

The Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic Mega Set | $199.99 $153.74 at Amazon
Save $46.25 - This seemed to be a record low price for this much more modest paint set, consisting of only the Army Painter's best acrylic range. It conveniently comes with a couple of brushes and a paint station to neatly store and organize your paints too, making this a great painting starting point if you've got the budget.

UK price: £155 £121.79 at Zatu Games

Darkoath army box | $200 $147.49 at Amazon
Save $52 - This was just a few dollars away from being the Darkoath box's lowest ever price, so it was a great start to last year's Black Friday Warhammer deals.

UK price: £125 £100 at Element Games
