The sales event of the year traditionally takes place toward the end of November - to be precise, the final Friday of the month. That means you can expect 2023's Black Friday gaming deals to occur on November 28.
However, they won't be limited to that one day. Last year we saw some fantastic game deals for the PS5, as well as a handful of discounts on the Slim cons🍃oles themselves. The PS5 Pro was only just out the gate, and took a few🦩 smaller price cuts as part of bundles (or full discounts in the UK), but 2025 could be the year the $699 / £699 console makes its first Black Friday play.
That's an expensive device, and everyone knows it. Launching to a lukewarm reception at the end of last year, there wasn't enough 𒆙going o📖n under the hood to justify that premium price tag. With rumored developments upping the value of the console itself, and another year under its belt, the PS5 Pro could well be Sony's flagship sales product this year.

I'd expect to see $50 off the Series S and Series X come November, with slightly larger savings on the digital Series X as well.
If you're already set for a console, though, Game Pass is going to be your next port of call. While they hav🦹e been a little slow in recent years, Game Pass Ultimate deals actually returned to the shelves last Black Friday. A three month subscription would set you back $21.99 last year, where previous offers had tapped out at $39.99. With Microsoft's continued focus on this subscription (potentially👍 in favor of its console market, if you're to believe certain headlines), I'd expect to see similarly sticky prices in 2025 - though we could get lucky again this year.
