BioWare promising free loot if Dragon Age 2 demo reaches 1M downloads

BioWare is promising to unlock two special items in the retail version of Dragon AgeII if one million people download the demobetween February 22 and March 1st. Normally, we would thumb our noses at such a blatant and callous attempt aꦰt consumer bribery, but on the other hand %26ndash; free stuff!!

The promotion is BioWare's %26ldquo;Call to Arms%26rdquo; for Dragon Age II, and will take into account all the demos downloaded for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It even has its ownthat details the two free items🦄; a pair of books that embue players with special attributes when read in-game.

The first book, Lothering's Lament, is about a Fereldan refugee fleeing the Blight, and rewards you with an XP boost when read. The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall is also about a Ferelden refugee ac💫ting all sour and pouty, but awards extra cash for taking a moment out of your day to read about her sad fate. As an added bonus, finishing the demo gives you Hayder's Razor, a powerful Dwarven weapon that bumps up your health, mana and abilities. Three freebies in one demo? Man they really want us to downlo♕ad this, huh?
