10. Jessica Cruz & Simon Baz

Jessica Cruzဣ and Simon Baz are two of the Green Lantern Corps’ newest recruits – wit꧒h Cruz having previously been Power Ring of the Crime Syndicate. But they have both quickly risen through the ranks not just of the Corps, but of the DC Universe, with both heroes joining the Justice League as part of 'Rebirth.'

5. Sojourner "Jo" Mullein

Sojourner "Jo" Mullein was created by N.K. Jemisin and Jamal Campbell for the Far🔥 Sector series, wherein she's stationed on a planet at the edge of the universe. She's the first Black woman to wear🐽 the power ring, which she received from the Guardian of the Universe, who told her she had "one year to make a difference."

Her origin story is rooted in the real-life 9/11 attacks, which she witnessed as a kid and then swore to make a dif𝔍ference in the world. Jo eventually became a police officer, bu𝓡t she was fired because of a Black Lives Matter Facebook post targeting her.

Recently, Jo has started appearing in mainline Green Lantern comics. She works💜 primarily with Hal Jordan and John Stewart, as well as others in the Corps.

4. Kyle Rayner

Kyle Rayn♏er became the Green Lantern in the Corps' darkest hour when most of the Guardians and their ꧋Green Lanterns had been decimated by the fall of Hal Jordan.
