DICE community manager spills the contents of Battlefi♑eld 3's throw-back map pack

The contents of the Battlefield 3 pre-order bonus pack, a selection of four maps from Battlefield 2, were revealed by DICE today. The add-on, which includes classic weapons and vehicles, as well as excluဣsive rewards, Achievements, and Trophies, was announced earlier this week alongside the first gameplay trailer.

Pos♐ting , DICE community manager Daniel Matros confirmed that the maps in question are ꧋Wake Island (surprise!), Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, and Sharqi Peninsula.

DICE hasn't issued any clarification as to whether or not the map pack will be made available later as paid DLC, or if it will be exclusiv𓆉e to pre-order purchases, but as the developer has stated that the add-on will be available to early purchasers "at no extra charge," we assume that late-adopters will have a c💧hance to grab it eventually.
