<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Palworld's big 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Terraria crossover update is here, adding loads of new features and improvements in addition to the new collaboration, and one dev is now pleading with fans to "stop asking" Poc✨ketpair to "let you sleep with Pals," because you now caꦡn.

The survival game's new Terraria-themed dungeon, weapons, and armor are the the big highlights of the aptly titled Tides of Terraria patch, but fans can also dive into a new, "terrifying 'Moon Lord' raid boss," try their hand at fishing for Pals, explore new islands, and strengthen their Pals with a new trust mechanic, 🦩allowing you to harness the power of friendship. Even weaker Pals can be powered up if you strengthen their trust enough.

Only one of the new features has been highlighted today by Pocketpair communications director John "Bucky" Buckley, however. One perfectly innocent patch note informs players that as of now, "after a hard day of farming and battling bosses, you and your Pals🗹 can take a hard-earned rest together!" Bucky responds with a smile: "Now stop asking us to let you sleep with Pals."

Now, I don't know who actually was asking this, and I'd very much like to believe that anyone who was also had this innocent naptime idea in mind, but given the existence of the Palworld ~ More Than Just Pals dating sim, which started life as an April Fool's joke but now has its own Steam page, I'm not entirely convinced that's the case. Speaking about the spin-off at the Game Developers Conference earlier this year, Bucky said: "Obviously, Palworld is a game about little furry creatures, so there is a very large and very vocal community of passionate individuals. That♉'s all I'll say."

…Anyway, it's a mighty large update, with even more additions including "a single-player challenge🍰 mode" in the arena, enemy bases, a mission system to help out the game's islanders, and more. You can check out the for all the details.

Palworld dev says Pocketpair could "mass hire" to help update its survival game faster, but it won't: "That's how game companies fall into the usual traps and become slimy."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA Online is all about setting up criminal organizations and making cash hand over fist. But, if you've ever watched B🥂reaking Bad or any number of other crime shows, you'll know you can't be too flashy and enjoy your ill-gotten gains without the feds catching on. That's where the latest Money Fronts update comes into play. It unlocks a car wash that makes your dirty money clean, and it's by far the best way to make quick cash if you're playing solo.

I remember the start of GTA Online, back in 2013. The glory days these were not. If you think the connectivity is bad now, you should have seen it on a PS3. And, you could only sell your goods in๊ public lobbies, meaning griefers would always put a stop to your hard work. A few years back, Rockstar realized everyone was finding ways to get into solo public lobbies and just let u🌠s do it officially.

So, we don't need to worry about Oppressors blowing our drug shipments up, but you still need people to help you shift those goods. I don't know about you, but getting more than one friend to play online wi🧸th me is a nightmare, especially with no cross🐭-play.

At the car wash!

GTA Online screenshot

Enter Martin Madrazzo, everyone's favo༒rite slick-talking cartel owner. He helps you s🐓et up the money laundering operation – a car wash, just like Walter White's. It only costs $1 million, which is relatively cheap for GTA Online, meaning you can start getting into this new update pretty quickly, even if you're a new player.

It gives you access to three new kinds of missions. You can help🧸 your new bo♊ss, Mr Faber, launder money with his associate, Raf, or do some actual work like washing cars so that the cops don't get suspicious.

The car w🎀ash on its own makes about $10,000 per day passively, which isn't too shabby, but it's nothing to write home about. The kicker is the money laundering missions. You can do these in invite-only lobbies and they only take one person.

I spent 90 minutes stealing cars that had dirty cash in them, went to other ꦛmoney laundering operations, robbed them blind, and then blew them up. The whole thing netted me half a million dollars.

GTA Online screenshot

That's because each money൲ laundering mission gives you $35,000 or $70,000, and they take 10 minutes or fewer to complete. They don't put you into a matchmaking screen like a job either, so you just stay in your session and rinse and repeat without wasting time on loading screens.

Once you've earned a bit of dosh, you can buy Smoke on the Water and Higgins Heliotours for $850,000 and $900,000 respectively. ღThese open up new kinds of missions, like getting back your impounded helicopters or torching rival weed farms that add a gnarly intoxicated effect when you stand too close to the fumes.

Eventually, you'll have to do some real work like get to some rich schmucks house, drive their car back to your wash, and then return it. Fortunately, you don't need to do these often as the heat builds on these businesses very slowly, and it was only🌊 after I got that half a million I had to do the legit stuff.

I normally play with a buddy, but when he's offline it just doesn't make sense for me to sell from those other businesses. That can require four vehicles, which is doable with two of us making ꧒two runs each, but it's impossible alone. 🦄If I'm just doing Money Fronts missions, I can play for a bit, sell when my other businesses are 25% full, and then carry on with the car wash while I wait for them to fill up again.

When does solo become too solo?

GTA Online screenshot

Getting m♕ore than one friend to play online with me is a nightmare, especially with no cross-play.

My main criticism of Money Fronts is that there isn't much to do with anyone else – it's maybe too solo-focused.

The Mr Faber missions work like other jobs which take you to a set up screen and can be played by up to four people, but they don't pay very much, so the solo missions are more worth your time. They are fun though. One had me scour a scrapyard for buried whiskey bottles without the aid of the map markers most jobs use. It was like a treasure hunt, on🐲ly I was being attacked by gangsters and dogs while trying to decipher clues like "two wheels couch" and "military."

But, for all of you who like PvP, there's something on offer too. Because all three new businesses are in static locations, there are now more players there than ever bღefore. I should know, one shot me while I was trying to wash a car. Bastard cost me my tip. It doesn't matter if you die doing these missions though. You simply respawn and keep going, so ꧅griefers can't punish you too much.

If you're so inclined, you can just wait by one of the three new businesses and pick playersꦦ off as they return to finish missions. I don't know what you'll say to Saint Peter when your Oppressor reaches the pearly gates if you do go down this road, ♎but the choice, and consequence, is yours.

Because this is so solo-friendly and completely doable in an invite-only session, I'd highly recommend this as a starting point for new players. All the businesses in the Money Front﷽s update require a lot more active involvement so you feel like you're properly playing, and the money adds up quickly enough that you can move onto the more passive businesses fairly quickly.

After a solid week of playing, I'm incredibly happy with the Money Fronts update. It shows Rockstar is committed to making GTA Online bearable for solo players and it's a real cash-earner that you can do rather than twiddling your thuꦯmbs and waiting for your cocaine lockup and arms dealership to produce sellable goods in the background. Pop on a podcast or Twitch stream, get to work, and you'll have millions before you know it.

When it comes to the battle of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best GTA games, there can only be one victor...

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Working out what the best Splitgate 2 🐼weapons are and rating them all in a tier list is no mean feat because believe it or not, there are 30 weapons in total available in this portal-FPS sequel. These are split into five primary weapons and three secondaries for each of the three factions, plus six power weapons which you can't select in your loadout but you can find respawning around each map on a timer.

For this Sp꧙litgate 2 weapon tier list, we're omitting power weapons because as their name suggests, they're far superior to the standard weapons you can spawn with. We're also ignoring the nine secondary weapons as they're just different types of pistol, so this tier list covers all 15 ꦛprimary weapons, ranging from assault rifles and carbines to shotguns and SMGs. Without further ado, here are our ratings of the best guns in Splitgate 2.

Want to know our thoughts on how this sequel stacks up against the first game, and how it performs as a new multiplayer shooter in 2025? Then check out our full 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Splitgate 2 review for the details.

S-tier weapons in Splitgate 2

Here's the🍸 lowdown on our three S-tier weapon piꦿcks in Splitgate 2:

Synapse (Meridian, assault rifle)

FPS games haꦗve a tendency to give the most jack-of-all-trades gun to new players right out of the gate, and Splitgate 2 is no different. All three assault rifles are unlocked by default and while all three are decent, the Synapse, exclusive to the Meridian faction, is by far the best. It sports the weakest damage but it has the highest fire rate, and since it has ridiculous accuracy and recoil control, you can shred foes from any range. Combine this with Meridian's Hypersight ability to see enemies through walls and control the battlefield.

Trailblazer (Sabrask, assault rifle)

🐻On the flip side, if you'd rather have an increase in damage but a slightly slower fire rate, opt fꦡor the Trailblazer. The Sabrask faction has a focus on higher firepower weaponry across the board, trading fancy gadgets for a simple barrier wall and faster recharging equipment, so they're the most traditional soldier-esque faction of the three. This checks out with the aesthetic design of the Trailblazer too, as it's reminiscent of an AK-47.

Sprinter (Aeros, SMG)

If you want to rock an SMG, your best bet is to pick the Aero🎐s faction. This is because their focus is almost entirely on speed, with their Rush ability enabling them to dash around the map, and the Sprinter has the fastest fire rate of any gun in the game. This means you want🙈 to get up close and personal to your foes, taking full advantage of portals. However, the Sprinter's fire rate does decrease the longer you fire it for, so you want to kill enemies as quickly as possible.

A-tier weapons in Splitgate 2

The best Splitgate 2 weapons

Here's the rဣound up of our four A-tier weapons in Splitgate 2:

Phasma (Meridian, SMG)

Generally, the Meridian faction has the strongest assortment of weapons, which makes the Phasma SMG almost on par with the S🔜printer. It has a very similar fire rate, albeit slightly slower, but it's also slightly more accurate. It also doesn't suffer from the🅰 slower fire rate over time penalty.

Rattler (Sabrask, SMG)

Finally for the SMG category, we ܫhave the Rattler. Remember how Sabrask has the most powerful weapons? That rings true here again with the Rattler, but rather than the fast fire rate winding down over time, this starts off firing slowly before ramping up. This means it's still very strong, but is better suited to fighting against groups of foes when you're li🐼kely to be continuously shooting for a longer window of time.

Hyperline (Meridian, Carbine)

The first Carbine in our tier list and by far the best of the three, the Hyperline sports very impressive stats. Ridiculously high accuracy is supported by impressive range, recoil control, and fire rate, and the damage isn't anything to snuff at either. The onlyও reason this isn't higher is because Carbines struggle a tad with how fast-paced Splitgate 2 is, especially in arena matches. If you want to roll with this, you're better off using it on bigger maps and modes such as battle royale.

Blitz (Shotgun, Aeros)

Rounding out the A-tier we have the Blitz, which is the first shotgun featured here. Now, the Charger (Meridian) deals way more damage, and the Plow (Sabrask) is also considerably more powerful, but they're both aiming for those one-shot kills. The Charger is certainly a better gun in the hands of skilled players, but if you're looking for something more accessible, the Blitz💎 is the way forward as it's semi-automatic and much bette🦹r at clearing groups of foes.

B and C-tier weapons in Splitgate 2

The best Splitgate 2 weapons

In the B𒁏-tier, you'll find two of the three battle rifles, alongside the weakest assaul𓄧t rifle and the aforementioned Charger. Generally, Charger aside if you're incredibly confident in your shotgunning skills, you'll want to stick to the guns in the S and A-tiers if you want to use the best weapons in the game, but we'll dive into the lower tiers for clarity.

The battle rifles generally are a touch underpowered in Splitgate 2 right now and while every gun is capable of shredding ꧟in the right hands, they're not the ones to pick if you want to have a stress-free time. The Jackhammer is dual-burst while the Quantum is quad-burst, referring to the number of shots they fire per trigger pull. The Pulse is tri-burst, but is generally even♉ more underpowered, which is why it finds itself in C-tier.

Meanwhile, the Tempo leaves a lot to be desired as the worst assault rifle in the game, and while it's still capable of doing a job, it doesn't fit with the Aeros class playstyle. This can also be applied to the Pulse and the Cadence, the worst carbine in the game. The Warden also finds itself in the C-tier, but it's slightly better than the Cadence thanks to its much high♔er damage.

That's everything you need to know about the best weapons in Splitgate 2. Wondering if you can play with your pals on different platforms? <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Sega Sammy accidentally revealed how much some of its recent games have sold, and I now totally understand why the publisher seems so hesitant about moving on from the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 era.

In a new 'Management Meeting' published earlier this week, the publisher tried to black out its sales data behind a grey block on page 25. Although some especially nosey fans found that if you highlight what's behind the box, then copy and paste it, you can see exactly what's back there. (Numbers!)

The Blue Blur is obviously doing very well for a mascot platformer. Sonic Frontiers has sold around 4.5 million copies, Team Sonic Racing is at 3🎶.5 million, and even Sonic Superstars did respectable business with over 2.4 million copies.

On the JRPG side, though, Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance have ꦯall pushed past the 2 mꦆillion mark. Meanwhile, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is inching closer to 3 million and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is almost at 2 million.

Easily the heaviest hitter on the list is Persona 5 Roya🎀l, though. The evergreen juggernaut has sold a whopping 7.25 mil♔lion copies, and that doesn't even count sales from vanilla Persona 5, which had sold around 3 million copies .

There's been a running community joke about Atlus' resistance to moving on from Persona 5, and with these mega numbers out in the wild, I can totally understand why we've had so many spin-offs, with a still-upcoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:P5 gacha on the horizon. Atlus has of course gone back to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:remake Persona 4 and 3, along with a brand-new fantasy series, but it's taken a little lon🥀ger to get🎉 to the long-awaited Persona 6 than expected.

In fact, the only official thing we've heard about the next full 𒊎Person♎a game is that it's in development. (Quick, act surprised.) "We are actively preparing for the future development of the Persona series as a studio," P-Studio lea📖d Kazuhisa Wada recently teased. "We are working hard to meet the expectations of fans around the world, and our work is progressing well. Please stay tuned for more updates. The National Gaming Expo revealed the lineup on Instagram, and that's been shared to the Red Dead Redemption subreddit alongside the disappointed caption, "Was this the announcement Rob was so excited for?" Splitgate 2 ranked

Unfortunately, there is no ranked mode in Splitgate 2 at the time of writing. This is disappointing given the🌜 first game had an immensely popula𒐪r ranked playlist, but it isn't all doom and gloom.

During a Q&A stream with the devs, they confirmed ranked mode would be coming within a month of launch. This is also mentioned, albeit with slightly less specificity, in the , which claims it's "coming in the nea൲r future".

On the official Splitgate subreddit, /u/Brodrian, the Splitgate 2 community manager, we "will not have to wait until ﷽October for it" and that "it will be arriving in the next few weeks". Given that comment was made on May 22, it's safe to assume a ranked mode is imminent in Splitgate 2. Finally, tಞhe revealed there will be an "update on [ranked mode] soon".

As for what the ranked mode will look like, in the aforementioned stream, the devs confirmed it would be the standard 4v4 arena mode. All the other modes, such as 24-player onslaught, gun game, and battle royale will be reserved for casual playlists only. This means you're going to want to get thr💖ee of your finest sharpshooting friends together to go head-to-head with other teams in ranked to stand the best chance of climbing the ranks.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Splitgate 2 is the free-to-play sequel to the genre-blending first-person shooter that made waves a few years back, as a Halo-meets-Portal experience. The highly anticipated sequel is here and for the first time, it features a battle royale mode, not to mention factions, an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, and a map c🌌reator. It's available on PC🎀, PS5, and Xbox, but is Splitgate 2 crossplay (also known as cross-platform play) available, and does your progression carry across?

Splitgate 2 crossplay and cross-platforꦏm play explaౠined

Splitgate 2 crossplay

Firstly, does Splitgate 2 have crossplay? Yes, it does! Splitgate 2 supports crossplay across all three platforms, so all you ꦏneed to do is add your friend via either their code or searching for their name and you can par♔ty up.

If you want to disabl🦄e crossplay, or re-enable it after turning it off, then follow these steps:

  1. After booting up the game and you're at the main menu, open the friends menu.
  2. Click on the settings, represented by the cogwheel.
  3. Click on the "online" category on the left-hand side.
  4. Toggle the "Cross Play Enabled" option on or off to your heart's content.

After all, playing against PC players when you're on console can be frustrating due to their more precise accuracy. However, the reverse can al🧜so be true thanks to aim assist. Be aware that it may mean it takes slightly longer to find a game via matchmaking though, as there'll be fewer players in the pool for yo✃u to match up against.

Does Splitgate 2 have cross-progression?

There's good news here too, because Splitgate 2 also supports cross-progression! If you want to play Splitgate 2 on multiple platforms, your unlocks, stats, and progression will all carry across. However, for this t🃏o work, you must create a 1047 Games account. Here's how it works:

  1. From the main menu of the game, open the friends menu.
  2. Click on your player icon in the top-right hand corner.
  3. Select the Account Linking option.
  4. This will open your browser, where you can follow the instructions to create a 1047 Games account.
  5. Make sure all the platforms you want to play on are linked.

Voila! Cross-progression will be enabled, so you can jump between platforms whenever you like. You can also link your Twitch and Discord accounts during this process, for in-game rewards using 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Splitgate 2 codes when they're available.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Rockstar Games fans are reminiscing about the series while the wait for GTA 6 continues as it was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:delayed until next year. This has led to players talking about things they didn't love about the previous entries, namely the yoga mission you have to play as Michael in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 5, and as it turns out Michael himself didn't🃏 like that m🃏ission either.

When he's not giving his verdict on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the asses found in GTA 6, GTA 5 star Ned Luke is always interacting w🀅ith fans of the now over-a-decade-old game, revealing bits from his time working with Rockstar. The fan-made GTA 6 Countdown Twitter account posted a screenshot from one of GTA 5's earlier missions in which Michael practises yoga poses with his wife and the yoﷺga instructor she's cheating on him with, saying: "This is hands down the worst mission in GTA 5."

Rather than take offense at one of his character's defining moments, Ned Luke responded in kind by saying the mission was "hands down the worst to shoot." He adds: 🔜"Sweated my ass off for eight hours.🔯" And naturally the fanbase was pleased to hear that – despite being involved in the game – Michael's actor also didn't like this derided mission.

Frankly, I love when Rockstar does silly stuff like this in its games, do you need a yoga mission that makes the player have to awkwardly hold the contro🌟ller? Absolutely not. But it is a fun little bit of detail that Rockstar loves to put in its games. God forbid we take time off from robbing banks and shooting people to practise 🧸a little mindfulness.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is getting its suite of crossover characters partly to ensure that players don't thi💮nk of it as a one-and-done title.

Speaking to GamesRadar+ at Summer Game Fest, veteran Sonic series producer Takashi Iizuka explains that the Minecraft and Yakuza crossovers that appeared in the game's most recent trailer (alongside Hatsune Miku and Persona 5's Joker) ar✱e there partly to provide a 'Hall of Fame' feel; "we wanted to make this title something that pulled fr🤡om the best of our previous racing games."

CrossWorlds, he says, borrows from All-Star Racing's broad selection of Sega characters, "so it's not just a Sonic universe game." But more than just providing a wide roster for the sake of it, Iizuka says that they've also been included "to make sure people are playing this game for a long time – not just playing it when it comes out, having fun, and that being ꧃it."

"Really, we need to support [it] ♓and make sure people are having fun and getting a fresh experience for as long as possible." To help with that, he drops a reminder about the Season Pass, which will help provide new content "for one year after the game launches," adding new things to the game "continually."

Minecraft will be the first of those big drops, but Iizuka says that "as the year progresses, we'll have new characters comingও into the race, new courses that the team is developing that will 🦹make it into the game, to make sure we have that long-time experience, and a lot of fun for players that want to continue playing."

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the devs want their game to be played for as long as possible, but it's the kind of thing that isn't often said as loudly as this. New characters and coursesꦆ – even those being added through a paid pass – are a pretty innocent way of expanding on a racing game, and unless you can shift a Mario Kart-esque number of copies, they're probably a good way of maki♛ng sure that players do stick around for the longer haul.

Whether Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds can do that with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World lurking in the background remains to be seen, but given Iizuka's recent comments about Nintendo's new racer, he does seem to be feeling pretty confident.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> I love Pokemon. I also love FromSoftware games. But never did I think to combine the two, until now. One 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign player found out that if 🐎you lure a boss toward the Gaping Dragon and its cursed maw, you can use it to reduce their maximum health and have the beasts fight each other.

An Elden Ring fan shared a video of them using stones to lure a Death Rite B🗹ird over to a Gaping Dragon. As everyone knows, dragons and birds are mortal enemies❀. When the Death Rite Bird wanders over, the Gaping Dragon unleashes some sort of bile that absolutely slashes its HP bar.

from

On✃ce that's happened, the player then goes and kills the bird – which, l🅰et's be honest, doesn't look much like a bird at all – whose HP has dropped to maybe a tenth of what it was originally.

"Couldn't have happened to a more 🗹deserving bird," writes one fan on . "Gaping Dragon teaches us that all hie♏rarchies are meaningless, because barf is the great equalizer."

Since Nightreign has a very large area for you to explore, you can find multiple bosses without being ga🔯ted behind fog walls or anything like that. I wonder what the limit is on how many big bads you can get together in one place. Maybe it would be like a double or even triple battle from the old Pokemon games.

With how powerful that Gaping Dragon attac🍌k is, it would de🧸finitely be my ace 'mon if I had a way to catch it. Instead, we'll all have to settle for simply luring other bosses into its voracious chops.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> With Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, developer Digital Eclipse is building on its increasingly impressive history of interactive documentaries to tell the full story of Mortal Kombat's arcade era.♊ That meant not just putting together the millionth re-release of the original MK trilogy - it also meaಌnt finally having to figure out how to properly port Mortal Kombat 4 to home consoles.

Mortal Kombat 4 is a fully 3D game, in contrast to the digitized sprites used in the earlier entries, and as Digital Eclipse's Stephen Frost tells me in a Summer Game Fest interview, the transition from 2D to 3D marks "an interesting story for the industry as a whole" where every developer "had⛄ their own struggles and challenges."

With the dꦜevelopment of MK4, we're looking at "that had built all these 2D tools to build and improve Mortal Kombat, and they ge♛t to 3D and they're like, 'Well, none of this stuff is useful anymore.' They had to start all over again," Frost explains.

Flawless legacy

"From a preservation perspective," he continues, "the arcade version of MK4 has never accurately been brought to home. It's always been ports that had to make adjustments, or had to make some assumptions about stuff. It just hasn't been an accurate experience overall - especially a pure arcade experience."

There were ports of MK4 to N64, PS1, and PC - and even Game Boy Color - back in the day, but those ports all had serious compromises over the original. Even the later MK Gold for Dreamcast, which purported to be aܫn improved version of MK4, had its own issues, and despite the many, many re-releases of earlier Mortal Kombat titles over the years, we never got an official port that kept that original arcade release intact.

"It's notoriously obtuse hardware," Frost says, explaining that i﷽t ran on a custom piece of♎ arcade hardware, called Zeus, powered by a variation of the now long-defunct 3dfx graphics card line. "There's very little documentation on it."

This isn't the first time Digital Eclipse had to create its own solution for the sake of preservation, as the studio previously invested in an Atari Jaguar emulator - something that barely even existed in the world of fan development - to make sure that the Atari 50 collection could tell a complete story of that company's history. They took the same approach with MK4 to ওmake sure🐬 the Legacy Collection's story could be complete, too.

"It's always been ports that had to make adjustments, o꧙r had to make some assumptions abo🏅ut stuff"

Stephen Frost, head of production

"We took it upon ourselves to say, 'Okay, we want to preserve this and have it playabl🀅e on modern platforms,'" Frost says. "So we're spending the time to get that working up and running. It's sort of similar for Atari 50: we spent a bunch of time creating a Jaguar emulator because there was no accurate Jaguar emulator out there, so we had to spend time to make it. It's the same thing with Mortal Kombat 4. We're trying to make that version accurat𒈔e."

Of course, there are limits to what Digital Eclipse can do for a single collection, and the fact that this one is specifically🌊 focused ♉on MK's arcade era hasn't stopped calls from fans who want "every game ever" to be included in the package, all the way up to the 2011 reboot colloquially known to fans as MK9.

"We can't just jump to MK9," Frost explains. "From a technological perspective, that's a huge endeavor, just to be able to꧒ take Mortal Kombat 9 and bring it to all these platforms. But we have to start somewhere, and we have to explain the story from the beginning. Do we want to get to, like, MK9 eventually? That would be phenomenal. But we've got to start somewhere and go there. We can't realistically include everything that everyone wants, just from a project perspective, scope perspective, or technological perspective."

With interactive documentaries covering everything from the history of Atari to the oddball creations of Jeff Minter, there's no studio I'd trust more with Mortal Kombat's legacy than Digital Eclipse. A series this legendary deserves more than simply another collection, and it's clear the devs are going above and beyond to show everything that matters from MK's early days. Heck, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:it even has the very bad GBA games. How can you beat that?

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Rainbow Six Siege X is a f🔯antastic game, balancing strategy and brutally thrilling combat. Attacking and defending are equally exciting, making it a great title to play with your closest siblings in arms. All of that, however, is for nought if you all have to be on the same systems to play together. The solution to this is Rainbow Six Siege X crossplay, allowing you to play with friends whether they're on PC or consoles.

In this guide, we'll explore whether crossplay in Rainbow Six Siege X is available and everythi💦ng else that you need to know to help you enjoy the game to your utmost. Read on and let's get started!

Is Rainbow Six Siege X crossplay available?

Rainbow Six Siege X crossplay

The answer is yes! Rainbow Six Siege X supports crossplay, making the processꦉ of playing with your PC or console friends easy. Every supported platform can benefit from crossplay, and it's actually turned on by default for PC players and cannot be turned off, but can be tweaked.

It isn't for console players, however, presumably due to the age-old advantage that PC players have thanks to mouse ൲aiming. If you want to turn it on, or indeed turn it ꦐoff, we've included that information in our guide below.

How to turn on crossplay in Rainbow Six Si꧅ege X on consoles

Rainbow Six Siege X crossplay

To enable 💃Rainbow Six Siege X crossplay on PlayStation and Xbox, this i༒s the process to follow:

  • Boot up the game and go to the Options menu
  • Find the 'General' tab
  • Enable/disable the setting marked 'Crossplay Matchmaking'
  • If playing on Xbox, you can also set crossplay settings in your console's settings under 'Account' > 'Privacy & online safety' > 'Xbox privacy' > 'View details and customize' > 'Communication & multiplayer'

PC crossplay settings in Rainbow Six Siege X

As noted before, crossplay is locked to enabled on꧋ PC, with no option to turn it off. However, there is a crossplay setting that you can still tinker with. If you'd prefer not to communicate with players on other systems for any rea🧸son, you can disable crossplay communication. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Boot up the game and load into the Options menu
  • Select the 'General' tab
  • Scroll down to the very bottom and enable/disable 'crossplay communication'

Note😼 that to disable this setting, you will need to disable the 'Text & Voice Chat' settingꦉ as a global setting in your Ubisoft account.

Is there cr🥀oss-progression in Rainbow Six Siege X?

Rainbow Six Siege X cross-progression

Not only is crosspla📖y a key feature of Rainbow Six Sie♒ge X, but it also supports cross-progression. If you unlock a cool operator on PS5, for example, you will also unlock it on PC and on Xbox. The only key consideration to keep in mind is ensuring that your various accounts across different platforms are all linked to the same Ubisoft account.

By now, you should know everything that there is to know about crossplay in Rainbow Six Siege X. It's present across all platforms, whether it's enabled or disabled by default, as is cross-progression, so long as your accounts are linked to the same Ubisoft account. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is the best game I played at Summer Game Fest. This is a confident hybrid of Metroidvania and trad🌳itional 2D action games that looks incredible and controls even better, and 45 minutes of hands-on time has pushed it all the way to the top of my wishlist.

It's been 14 years since the last Shinobi game and even longer since the series' heydayও in the late '80s and early '90s, but Art of Vengeance hasn't skipped a beat. Developer Lizardcube is building on the incredible look it established with other Sega revivals l♕ike Streets of Rage 4 and Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, returning us to original series protagonist Joe Musashi with serious style.

The basics will be very familiar if you played the original games – there are still up-close sword attacks, ranged kunai throws, and a variety of ninpo magic to unleash – but they're translated through a modern lens that makes the game feel far more robust than simply another retro revival. It reminds me a bit of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in how it blends old-school action with modern me🦄chanics, and with how excellent that game proved to be last year, that's high praise indeed.

Release date: August 28, 2025

Within a few seconds of getting control in the Shinobi: Art of Vengeance demo, I☂ was involu🍒ntarily making the American Psycho 'oh yeah' face at how nice it all felt.

Air control is perfect, you have immediate access to movement options like double-jumps, and there's a satisfying heft to Joe's running animations that sti▨ll manages to avoid making the character feel clunky to move. There's even a little dodge roll that you can use to launch over waist-high o🃏bjects like crates, and while I didn't find much explicit use for that, it's the kind of little detail that goes a long way to making the game feel great to control.

Art of Vengeance consists of discrete stages that each culminate in a boss fight, true to its old-school stylings, but there's a light dusting of Metroidvania here too. The stages are sprawling enough to justify a Super Metroid-style map that you can po💎p open at any time, and you'll get abilities later on that'll give you a reason to revisit old levels to find new items.

The world isn't interconnected, though, so each sജtage ultimately stands alone, and there's some notable variety in pacing between each. The first level I played felt pretty open-ended and exploratory, but the second was a much more straightforward rush to the end, culminating in a fun platforming escape sequence from an encroaching wall of fire.

In each level, you'll regularly be stopped to fight your way through big arena battles full of enemies, and this is where we can start to🥀 unpack the game's robust combat mechanics. You've got a light and heavy attack that can be chained together in various combos, you can throw out a kunai to attack foes at a distance, and your attacks fill up a ninpo meter you can use to unleash magic attacks, like a quick gout of flame or a defensive stance that can counter an incoming attack.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance

"It's tr✤emendously satisfying to chain those executions together, and it works almost like an adapt🌠ive difficulty setting"

The key conside𓆉ration here is the execution gauge, a meter that appears below each enemy's health bar like a sort of guard break, which fills as you attack but goes up even faster from heavy attacks and kunai strikes. Once full, you can tap a b✃utton to execute that enemy and be rewarded with a shower of gold, kunai ammo, and health pickups. You can also chain together these executions on multiple enemies for bonus rewards, so you've got a big incentive to wear down each foe, move on to the next, and quickly execute them all at once for the greatest rewards.

It's tremendously satisfying to chain those executions together, and it works almost like an adaptive difficulty setting. Th🌜e basic fights aren't that hard on their own, but juggling a bunch of enemies to fill up their execution gauges without actually killing them can be quite challenging, and there are commensurate rewards. The bonus gold can be spent unlocking new moves at shops, which continually expand their offerings based on collectibles you find in the stages, tying exploration and combat together nicely.

I'm an easy mark for retro action, but what I played of Art of Vengeance stands confidently above a sea of other throwback games thanks to its impeccable movement feel and satisfying combat. I found aꦍnoth🔴er Summer Game Fest highlight in Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, which offers a more old-school challenge and structure in contrast to Shinobi's modernized, Metroidvania-infused feel. If I had a nickel for every time an indie dev blew me away with a classic ninja action game revival for a notable Japanese studio in 2025, I'd have 💜two nickels, but it sure is weird that it's happened twice.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Big boy season is officially upon us in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign, as i🌜ts first souped-up Nightlord is finally here, allowing players to take on an even more pow🌄erful version of Gaping Jaw. However, we'll only be able to do so for a limited time.

Earlier this month, developer FromSoftware stated that stronger versions of the existing Nightlords would be added to the co-op action RPG in t🧔he future, and the first one of those has now dropped out of nowhere. As per a from publisher Bandai Namco, the beefed-up bad guys are called Everdark Sovereigns, with the Gaping Jaw expedition's Adel, Baron of the Night currently taking the stage for anyone who's already beaten the original boss.

Bandai Namco warns that the Everdark Sovereꦺigns are "extremely challenging and pose an even greater threat to the Nightfarers with new moves and increased power," but the good news is that defeating them will reward you with Sovereign Sigils, which can "be exchanged for special Relics and other items." Players have that the option to summon Shifting Earth events freely is unlocked after defeating the new boss.

However, there's a catch that not everyone is too thrilled about – these fights are only available for a limited time. Adel, Baronꦅ of the Night's battle will disappear after June 26 at 6pm PT / 9pm ET (June 27 at 2am GMT), so there's only a week to beat it before it's replaced by another. The Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight Nightlords are already confirmed to be on the guest list, with the Tricephalos, Augur, Fissure in the Fog, and Equilibrious Beast to follow in the future.

"Not permanent? Are we for fucking real?" one . "Nah bro why are they doing FOMO in the Elden Ring game. Not the right move at ꦇall," .

"I don't love the FOMO aspect," . "Gaping Jaw isn't hard but locking special rewards behind a unique currency that is locked behind an LTM feels really shitty. One of my fav✅orite aspects of Nightreign was the play when you feel like it aspect and that's kind of gone now."

The good news is that Bandai Namco has basically confirmed the bosses won't vanish forever after theiꦅr allotted time. "When this time is up, the Sovereign will disappear from the available Expeditions... for now," the publisher teases. It sounds like there'll be a kind of rotation, although it's not clear how long you might have to wait to fight a specific boss if you miss out or fail to beat it during a given slot, which could prove 🦋to be frustrating.

Below is the complete list of Madden 26 QB Traits and Player Traits, based on real life statistics. Take Josh Allen, for example. "Allen will have the ‘Run Over’ trait, which makes him more likely to run through contact when scrambling rather than sliding or running out of bounds," explains EA. "Allen was assigned this trait because over the last two NFL seasons, Allen leads the league with ❀54% of his scrambles resulting in at least three yards after contact."

  • Look For Stars: QBs with this trait look to throw to their star receivers more
  • Risk Taker: QBs with this trait tend to force the ball downfield and into tight windows

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign – as is required of any FromS🍸oftware game – likes to punish its player, which is why you might unexpectedly become cursed by a demon, who then requires you to pay a heavy sum of Runes as penance. Or, as some fans have discovered, you can jump ofᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚf a bridge and die.

After you're alerted to the fact that "a demon has cursed you" in Nightreign, a red 💙spot on your map will guide you to a demonic merchant that will take eit🌺her 15,000 of your Runes on Day 1 or 35,000 Runes on Day 2 to reverse its curse on your party. After this, he'll make a deal with you to grant you a powerful buff. But if you reject his rates, you can choose to battle him as a lesser version of the Libra Creature of Night boss.

At least, this is how it's supposed to go. Pay up, or draw your sword.♛ But Reddit user players who still bear the demon's cursဣe by the time Nightreign's challenging night three comes around can alternatively "remove the curse by... jumping into the abyss!"

"Specifically, jumping off the bridge leading to the Nightlord's arena," Sobrin_ says in a Redditꦜ thread with nearly 2,000 upvotes as of writing. "This death apparently removes it, and your souls/grace will still be there to pick up and let you regain your level. That way, you'll get that portion of your health bar back" – the demon's cu𒐪rse impacts your health – "whilst keeping your level."

"And no, jumping off the Limveld map does not ꦉwork for this," the player continues. "I accidentally checked."

"That definitely feels unintend🅘ed," rema🍃rks the post's . It probably is, but you should never look a gift demon in the mouth.

The good news is that as of Nightreign's latest patch, the demon's curse should now be a bit e✅asier to deal with, as Fr𓆏omSoftware has "fixed a bug where the Demon Merchant would spawn near the Night's Tide when the Demon Merchant curse event was enc🧸ountered." So, maybe less players will have to resort to jumping into the void in the first place.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Red Dead Redemption's John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff has attempted to calm fans down again after he teased some "exciting news" coming this week while playing through the 2010 action-adventure he stars in, now reminding everyone that "I do 🎶not make announcements for Rockstar Games."

Previously, the stars seemed to be aligning for some sort of Red Dead Redemption-related announcement. Not only did Wiethoff say that "cannot think about anything else, especially playing this game" during his stream, but asked if he knew "what the Red Dead news is Rob mentioned," Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan actor Roger Clark said "yes," seemingly cཧonfirming it really is something to do with the series.

Now though, in a on his YouTube channel (highlighted by @jonbranham_ on Twitter), Wiethoff says that🌠 while "I do have something I'm really excited about, I truly am, and I think you will be too," he now realises that he "possibly mis﷽led some people when I announced that I have something to announce that I can't talk about right now.

"Just please r🔯ecognize – and I know that you know this, but let me remind you, I guess – I do not make announcements for Rockstar Games. We all know that, I'm just reminding you I do not make announcements for Rockstar Games. Rockstar Games makes announcements for Rockstar Games, and they don't use me to do that," he laughs. "So please know that, and again I still think that a lot of you are going to be really excited about this news, abso😼lutely."

Wiethoff says he still "can't share it with you yet, and I'm so sorry" about that, but assuming his original teaser still holds up, we should be finding out whatever it is in the next few days. Again, Clark's previous comment does indicate that there's something related to Red Dead going on, but anyone h♎oping for something like a remake, port, or new game should probably temper their expectati💧ons at this point.

15 years later, Red Dead Redemption's John Marston is playing the open-world cowboy game for the first time and reveals why "John is screaming at people for no reason" when riding a horse.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Developer Tribute Games has been proving its retro bonafides for years, and arguably its best work yet came in the form of Teenage Mutant Ninj🌠a Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, a pitch-perfect love letter to the bygone age of co-op arcade brawlers. Now the studio is back with Marvel Cosmic Invasion, which builds on the excellent beat-em-up foundations established with TMNT, and after a brief han𝓰ds-on at Summer Game Fest, it's looking like an even better, bigger tribute to the classics.

If you've ever played a classic beat-em-up, you'll understand the basics immediately. Pick a character, walk from left to right, and punch an army of evildoers into submission along the way. The key difference here is thꦇat you're playing as an array of Marvel superheroes, which opens up a lot more in the way of unique abilities and movement options, and you choose a team of characters🧜 to tag between as you like.

For my first run, I paired up with Wolverine and Storm. Wolverine's claw attacks let him unleash some vicious combos, while Storm is able to unleash tornados at a distance for very effective crowd control. There's no limit on your ability to tag between the two characters, and you can even call in your reserve partner for quick assist attacks witho♛ut tagging out, which really opens up some wild combo possibilities.

We've rounded up the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best superhero games for you to check out

You're incentivized to choose a pair of characters with pretty different abilities, especially when it comes to dealing with airborne foes. Every character has some sort of midair move, but with heroes who can fly - like Storm - you can sim🅷ply tap the A button in midair to take to the skies and start punching winged baddies on equal footing. I𒁏 found myself regularly using Storm to knock flying enemies down, then following up on them with Wolverine claws, calling in assists here and there to keep tornados on the ground so I wouldn't be swarmed by mobile ground enemies while dealing the final blows.

It's all snappy and satisfying, and while I had a good deal of fun simply button-mashing through the demo, it's clear that there'll be enough depth to allow for some serious combo potential. I was particularly impressed by how different the characters felt from each other, too. Brawlers are a repetitive genre by nature, but swapp🦂ing back and forth between the quick, violent movements of Wolverine and Storm's more restrained, crowd-control powers kept things feeling fresh.

Later, I got the chꦺance to play as Spider-Man and Venom, who𝕴 have obvious similarities with melee-based attacks and web-swinging midair moves, but still manage to feel wildly different from each other. Spidey is a finesse character, whose webbing is great at managing enemies from a distance. Venom meanwhile is satisfyingly brutal, with big powerful punches and an awesome-feeling throw move where he simply grabs enemies by the face and absolutely launches them across the screen.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion

Marvel Cosmic Invasion supports up to four players, and with two characters apiece, you can get over half of the 15 character roster in play at once, which sounds chaotically fun. My session only had two players, but with both of us swapping backꦺ and forth between our chosen characters and regularly unleashing big, screen-clearing special moves, it was a cacophony of colorful violence. I can ima𝓡gine the action getting a little hard to track as more players come in, but honestly that might just add to the charm.

The game's bold, bright colors pop like a Saturday morning cartoon, and there's loads of little background details adding personality, from the Daily Bugle posters plastered across the streets of New York City to the SHIELD soldiers doing battle with AIM invaders atop the helicarrier. 🌃Many of these little details aren't just cosmetic, either - the assaulted helicarrier is full of holes you can knock enemies into, and there are even a few guns mounted on the deck which you can punch to vaporize foes at a distance.

TMN⛄T: Shredder's Revenge set one heck of a blueprint for arcade brawlers, and Marvel Cosmic Invasion is building on it in a big way. It feels like a wonderful tribute to both a classic genre and the Marvel universe, and after actually getting to play it for myself, I'm even more excited to grab a group of friends and go for a heroic justice br😼awl when the game launches later this year.

The ranks of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Marvel games already have some very strong contenders.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign's latest patch, 1.01.3🌳, is here, and it sounds like it should make the co-op action RPG's most annoying random event significantly easier to deal𓂃 with, at least in some circumstances.

If you've been taking on the various Nightlords found in Limveld,🐷 chances are you might have seen a pop-up informing you that "a demon has cursed you," taking a significant chunk out of your health bar that you can't heal back in the process. The way you're meant to deal with this is by seeking out the demon who cursed you, and either defeating it or coughing up a significant amount of runes, getting out of it without paying.

However, doing this is a lot easier said than done if the demon ends up spawning at the edge of the Night's Tide – the danger zone that slowly closes in on the map to restrict the areas you can traverse without taking damage as a run progresses. Being stuck with an unfixable HP nerf for an entire run can easily make the difference between a win and a loss – I'd know, I've been there – but FromSoftware has now made a change to e𝕴nsure this shouldn't happen so easily, as it's "fixed a bug where the Demon Merchant would spawn near the Night's Tide when the Demon Merchant curse event was encountered."

There are a number of other bug fixes inclu💜ded in the , too, notably including one which sometimes saw players "lose a battle after being revived from near death against a Nightlord or other Night bosses." So, you should no longer be cheated out of a po🐈tential comeback when it matters most.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> The fatigued yet determined 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong community, perpetually waiting for a sequel that at times has felt like a hallucination, is used to disappointment and accustomed to being the butt of a joke. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Prepare your clown makeup, and so on. But after years of letdowns, and even with a 2025 Silksong launch now firmly in sight, this year's string of not-E3 showings has been especially painful. We have a date, we know it's real, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:we know it's cꦚoming before the holiday season, but sure, here's one last volley of no-shows for the boo꧋🌳ks.

It's bad enough that the genuinely significant news around Silksong – the fact it's out "before" the holidays – arrived not during any of the big showcases teed up this month, but in a trace Discord post initially seen only by the Skong devoted. Separately, marketing lead Matthew Griffin 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:reckoned "DLC is likely, but that decision isn't up to me."

This news wasꦗ a welcome but flimsy bandage on fresh wounds from Summer Game Fest, where Geoff Keighley and Microsoft teamed up to piledrive Silksong fans into the trenches of desperation.

Silksong was indeed mentioned at the big SGF opening night live, but only in passing as a launc📖hpad for a new Deadpool VR game. "You're gonna do me a solid and skip that Silksong tra꧒iler so you can hit my revolutionary VR gaming venture that will shock the industry, probably," Keighley said, reading off a card purportedly sent by Deadpool himself. (I don't believe it, personal꧟ly; it was probably a ghost writer.)

Worse still, we actually saw Silksong footage in Microsoft's reveal of the new 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Asus ROG Xbox Ally, its new portable PC running an Xbox-ified version of Windows that hopefully makes up for the fact that this is otherwise an ROG Ally with Xbox branding so thin you could see yo♔ur hand through it.

It was right there! The first thing we saw on the handheld's app list was Silksong, joined by Gears Tactics, Balatro, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The reveal trailer went straight into Silksong gameplay, with new protagonist Hornet pirouetting and pogoing over enemies in a field. Microsoft was really lingering on this, but it all came to nothing.

Several years after Xbox said the game would be out within a year, Xbox boss Phil Spencer says the Silksong appearan🌼ce at the Xbox Ally reveal was just a "good partnership" and a fun way to include Team Cherry. The game itself is totally di💜vorced from the handꦜheld, 🗹which will simply provide another way to play it.

Bear in mind, this string of duds came on the heels of澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: the umpteenth 𒅌round of Steam backend spying, with some fans convincing themselves once again that something could be on the horizon. A shadow drop? A demo? A new trailer? An actua🐼l release date, dare we dream? It's summer showcase season,༒ now's the time! But no, it was all another mirage. More often than not, Hollow Knight fans do this to themselves, but this really was a perfect storm of setup with no payoff. But hey, we're only a few months away. Surely.

Hollow Knight: Silksong has its own GTA 6-like release date blast zone – "I hope Silksong will release this year coz we are avoiding them," says boss of lovely JRPG-flavored Metroidvania.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> It's seemingly increasingly likely that Red Dead Redemption fans have something to be excited about, as an𓄧other actor fro𒊎m the series has teased an upcoming announcement of some sort.

Late last week, John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff broke the internet while streaming Red Dead Redemption as he teased that he's "got such exciting news" he can't currently share. Whatever it is, he suggested we should probably find out soon: "By the end of this week, hopefully sooner... definitely𒐪 before Friday."

How mysterious. Obviously, everyone immediately began speculating that it could be something Red Dead Redemption-related, whether that could possibly be a next-gen update for RDR2, a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 port, or something else entirely. Curiously, he also mentioned that he "won't be the only one sharing" the news, and now, Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan actor, Roger Clark, claims he's also🦄 in the know.

Asked on T🍸witter if🔴 he knows "what the Red Dead news is Rob mentioned," Clark simply says "yes," sharing a GIF of a dog giving a smug smile.

Although he's not revealed exactly what the news is, it looks like he might have given something away by the fact that he was specifically asked about some "Red Dead news," and still responded with a metaphorical thumbs up. Even though fans quickly made the assumption, Wiethoff never actually said out loud that his announcement would be related to the series, so it appears that Clark may🦄 have inadvertently confirmed that.

It really feels like the pair are taking notes from the Persona 4 cast, of which three actors (from the original game and the Golden re-release) ended up speaking publicly about not returning to the JRPG's remake… before 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 4 Revival was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:actually announced. Needless to say, the remake's reveal wasn't exactly a shock when it was finally shown, but it was very good new🔥s ꩵnonetheless.

Now, it's Red De🉐ad Redemption fans' time to wait and see what the two actors are teas👍ing. If Wiethoff's original statement holds up, we'll hopefully find out by the end of the week.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Hitman is getting a co-op mode? Yes, yes, yes. I love the new Hitman games, which manage to blend 2000s thriller vibes with bumbling, deadpan comedy and immersive challenge to a superb degree. Watching the stone-faced Agent 47 load up a sniper rifle while wearing a pink flamingo suit, or make clumsy, but ominous puns to an oblivious target before throwing a magical briefcase at their skull is delightful. It's satisfying when it goes right, and hilarious when it goes wrong, so the opportunity to see two agents 𝕴moving either in perfect harmony or bickering, inept misadventure is something I can't wait for...

But it makes me wonder, is that really the best we can do? Because th꧙e best thriller-killer movies aren't about two murderers working with each other, but agains🦋t each other, playing cat and mouse from the shadows. For a long time now, Hitman games have had a pseudo-competitive element wherein players cleanly speedrun missions for the highest point total, but I think the concept has further to go...

Here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best action games for you to try after Hitman

The obvious idea would be to have two agents just trying to kill each other, but I don't really think that's the best way to encourage comedy or creativity. Hitman's mechanics are too tied into the behaviour of NPCs and the skill needed to evade and manipulate them. Removing or downplaying that element risks compromising a large part of what makes Hitman so fun to play. If you don't have to worry about stealth or disguises, or what the bots think about you, that's about half th♈e game's systems out of theꦓ window.

Instead, I'd suggest something that's more like a race, or treasure hunt – both players rushing to find and kill the same targets before the other can do so, trying to remain anonymous the whole time, and even attempting to pi﷽ck off each other to send them back to a random spawn or temporarily put them out of action.

Hitman strangles a target in Sapienza

What I'm imagining is something like the early Assassin's Creed multiplayer, operating in disguises early on as you try to suss out the target without making it obvious. And look🔥, there's another figure near them, moving suspiciously… another hunter, or just a drunk local? Will you risk your cover and your reputation to kill what might be just an innocent man?

Then, once you find the guy who needs his brains redistributed, it's about trying to work out how to get the best possible kill before your competitor can find and do the same. Shove them off a balcony with a well-placed elbow? The old reliable food poisoning/toilet swirlie combo? Or just put a bullet in them and stuff the carcass into a picnic hamper before walking away with an innocent whistle? However you kill them, you get points according to the neatness of the kill and a new target is sent to both of you, beginning the cycle anew. Except wait, that's not an NPC looking at me from down that corri–BLAM.

Walking through a corridor laden with bodies in a hazmat suit while playing the 2016 Hitman DLC mission Patient Zero in Hitman 3.

Of course, things may be more urgent overall. Maybe you're lining up a sniper shot and see your enemy assassin creeping up on your kill with garrotte wire. Your hand forced, you blow the target's head off, losing the chance to hide the corpse, but depriving your opponent of any points at all. A C+ for you 𒅌is still better than a perfectಞ score for them.

Obviously there's a lot of things that would probably need tweaking from the core game, but ideally it should all be to preserve enough of the core Hitman experience and stop the whole thing from devolving into simple deathmatch shootouts. For one thing, there's already enough games like that, and secondly, watching two killers trying to sabotage each other is going to be endlessly more entertaining and fit the dark comedy tone that Hitman has mastered than just b🍒lasting assault rifles at other professional murderers.

They're favorites of mine, but did the recent Hitman games make it onto our list of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Stealth games?

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign has finally reached a Very Positive review rating on Steam, just over 🉐two w꧃eeks since its less than stellar start.

At the end of last month, Nightreign debuted on Steam with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:FromSoftware's second-lowest reviews, quickly dropping from Mostly Positive to Mixed at release. One of the main complaints was the co-op action RPG's lack of two-player support – although you and a friend can team up with a stranger to take on the various tough Nightlords, it is kind of weird that you can't just run out into Limveld as a duo. Before launch, the game's director even admitted it was overlooked during development.

Since then, FromSoftware still hasn't actually added duos to Nightreign – although it has 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:confirmed that the option is on the way – but that's clearly not been enough to continue holding the game back. As it stands, 80% of Nightreign's 71,000+ reviews on Steam are now positive, with many more recent ratings giving a thumbs up and "I liked it both solo and with friends," and, uh, (To be fair, as both a Fortnite and Nightreign player I totally understand where they꧃'re coming from.)

Nightreign is very different to the traditional Dark Souls and soulslike experience from FromSoftware – co-op focus aside, the fast pace you have to play at and its roguelite elements change the feeling drastically from, say, taking on an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring boss alongside your friends. Perhaps it's just taken player✱s a while🉐 to adjust to the changes and accept Nightreign for what it is?

We'll just have to wait and see how th✅e game's further updates impact its rating – with duo support on the way eventually, hopefully that can only help improve things further.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Minecraft fully released almost 15 years ago, and in that time, it's more or less looked like the same blocky game we all know and love, b🧸ut it's now getting a sweeping visual overhaul.

Mojang Studios broke down the 'Vibrant Visuals' update, coming June 17, in a new video that also shows side-by-side comparisons of the game before and after. The main differences are that sha🔯dows now move organically and are cast by the sun, fog plays a much bigger role, water looks absolutely lush, and biomes feel a lot more distinct.

More importantly, however, is that every new effect has been slightly pixelated so it all still feels recognizably Minecrafty, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:as the studio had promised before. Mojang has also apparently added more than 3,000 n♈ew textures and the devs seem very proud that you can actually tell how rough or shiny or metallic every material is just𝐆 by looking at them. Color isn't the only thing that separates your blocks anymore.

"🌼We didn't want to take away from what makes Minecraft Minecraft, so everything we added needed to feel really natural - a natural evolution of what players were already used to," lead rendering engineer A.J. Fairfield said.

"Even though you have this modern look and feel, it's also very familiar glimpses of the regular Minecraft that you know," Vibrant Visuals lead Dejan🌊 Dimic added. It's certainly a sweeping, handsome update, without making the now-iconic game look uncanny. So, mission accomplished?

Minecraft's redone visuals will be available in the Bedrock Edition later this month and 💛will be turned on by default. Don't worry, though! You can toggle it off in the menus, and the update will also be coming to Java Edition at some point in the future.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> An E3 demo from 2014 was a major turning point for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and for developer CD Projekt Red more ge♓nerally, according to the beloved gꦜame's makers.

The Witcher 3 is now one of the most revered, well-known games in the entire RPG genre, having sold over 60 million copies and counting, but there was a time when CD Projekt Red was a relatively nicꩲhe studio. Sure, The Witcher 1 and 2 definitely had solid fanbases and good ideas - The Witcher 3 is what turned CDP𝔉R into a household name, though.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4's narrative director Philipp Weber recalled, in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:an interview with GamesRadar+, that that shift began happening when a working demo for the threequel started to gain traction at E3, courting fans from another massiꦦve fantasy epic.

"There was this feeling that it was going to be bigger," Weber remembered. "Skyrim was the ope꧂n world game, and we could feel that suddenl🎀y a lot of people who loved Skyrim started paying attention to The Witcher 3. We could kind of feel this… big wave, touching us. There was an excitement, where we could tell that the general public was taking notice. It was a very interesting thing to see."

The rest is history. The Witcher 3 launched to rave reviews, countless awards, and a decade later, CDPR even went back to add just "one more ꧑patch" bringing mods to cons♛oles for the first time ever. To no one's surprise, it's also influencing the direction the sꩲtudio takes wit🌊h The Witcher 4.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007 First Light stars a younger, less refined v🐲ersion of the classic "tuxedo Bond" we've come to know and l🅰ove from the legendary film series, but thankfully he's still got his trusty Q to show him how to dress, sip martinis, and brood.

We sat down with IO Interactive's 007 franchise director Jonathan Lacaille during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, and he opened up a little about the unique relationship dynamic between this game's James Bond and his Quartermaster, who fans of the film series will remember as Bond's🃏 sometimes father figure and supplier of state-of-the-art gadgets.

(The below quote has been lightly edited for clarity.)

"The Bond that we have today is not tuxedo Bond, the classy Bond with the martini and so on, said Lacaille. "He's young, he's not the suit guy yet. But Q is more the classy gentleman with a lot of taste, and he will teach Bond what𓂃 he should wear, manners, you know, why he needs to wear a nice watch and things like that."

It's ironic that my first thought after hearing that was, 'oh so kind of like Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan from Uncharted' because I specifically made the point recently that 007 First Light in fact isn't an Uncharted-style action game based on comments from this same inter♈view. Well, haven't I made myself look like a fool?

Anyway, I'm encouraged that IOI isn't going the safe route and just adapting the most instantly 🐓recognizable Bond. Sean Connery was pretty young when he was introduced as Bond at 32 in Dr. No, but even then he very much embraced the archetypal Bond that Lacaille is describing, so it'll be refreshing to see a scrappier, less el⛎egant Bond.

007 First Light devs chose a James Bond origin story to help be "more relatable" to a "younger audience maybe than the Bond franchise is used to"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> The FromSoftware fandom is a uniquely devoted bunch. From Demon's Souls to Elden Ring, fans of this particular flavor of action RPG have pulled off some absurd self-imposed grin🎃ds, challenge runs, and secr🌼et hunts.

澳洲幸运5🥂开奖号码历史🗹查询:I've learned to respect their dedication, even if I'll never share it despite loving these games myself. But to this day, my response to some alleged FromSoft feats is true disbelief. People do, after all, make things up on the internet. We should all doubt things online a little more. So when I learned of a Japanese player claiming to have killed Malenia and Promised Consort Radahn, respectively the most difficult bosses in Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, tens of thousands of times, I had my doubts.

That player is , whose Twitter bio boasts of 21,420 Malenia kills and 13,260 Consort Radahn kills in some 9,500 hours played. I'm spotlighting their story for a reason, having found ShoulderCoffin on every platform I could and spoken to them directly, but I also want to walk you through my doubts here, because I was convinced there must at least be some fuzziness to these numbers.

Everything I've seen suggests ShoulderCoffi﷽n genuinely is extremely devoted to co-op boss kills. They insist they've not "exagge෴rated" their boss kill counts, even if their hours played were surely smudged by some AFK time.

Elden Ring was released on February 25, 2022. That was about 1,200 days ago at the time of writing. For these stats to hold up, ShoulderCoffin would have to have averaged just under eight hours of Elden Ring every single day since launch. Some people have played games even more intensely than that, to be sure. I've spoken to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Letꦺ Me Sol🌟o Them, a 5,300-hour Elden Ring devotee who can abꦬsolutely back up their claims, multiple times. But I still had my reservations. So, I൩ asked ShoulderCoffin.

Via (perfectly readable but seemingly translated) responses, ShoulderCoffin explained that until the release of Shadow 🦩of the Erdtree, they were mostly either working, sleeping, or fighting Malenia. "That's my lifestyle for two years," they said over Discord.

ShoulderCoffin , cosplaying as🍬 Elden Ring community hero Let Me Solo Her – not always, and with no great meaning behind it beyond respecting the legend, they suggest – in 2022. The second video on their channel, from November 18, 2023, claims to show their 14,460th Malenia kill. Why are there no records of previous kills? They say they don't have any footage of older kills. They said they previously posted a record of 7,500 kills on Reddit, but it was removed by moderators.

What they do have is YouTube, , and video posts chronicling thousands upon thousands of Malenia and Radahn fights going back years. Their Twitter record is especially meticulous. Sometimes it's singular fights, and sometimes it's compilations of multiple fina♎les. With some basic scrubbing, I couldn't find any obvious or even suspicious repeat fights used to pad their claim.

Most of these videos have relatively few views – they wouldn't be the first player slaving away while almost nob༒ody notices – but several of ShoulderCoffin's posts do have replies from other players saying that they were able to overcome these bosses, especially Con✃sort Radahn, with their help. And all of these videos make it very clear that they've mastered the fights inside and out.

from

In lengthy strategy breakdowns that I didn't even request – I only shared my email address for possible future inquiries – ShoulderCoffin goes into extreme detail on how ꩲthey formulated strategies to maximize their boss suꩵccess rate in co-op. They're fond of status effects like poison, rot, bleed, and frostbite, as well as HP-shredding effects like the Black Blade Incantation. The blood dagger Reduvia is a mainstay. They previously used the spell Impenetrable Thorns, as I did, to delete bosses. It wasn't until several days after our initial conversations that they asked if I was familiar with Elden Ring – I'm on NG+5 – and everything they've said about the game's mechanics checks out.

When I added them as a friend on PlayStation to confirm their play time, Elden Ring wasn't displayed at first. An eyebrow went up. But ShoulderCoffin quickly updated their privacy settings, and sure enough, their account shows over 6,600 hours of Elden Ring played on PS5 alone. They started on PS4, they say, hence the 9,500-hour claim. And the rest of their profile checks out; they're e💃very bit the FromSoft fan they claim to be, with plenty of hours logged in Sekiro, Bloodborne, and Armored Core 6, as well as a range of other games.

Malenia

They say they got into co-op bosses because they wanted rematches but Elden Ring doesn't have Sekiro's boss do-over feature, and it seems they stuck with it for the long, long haul for the thrill. "I wanted perfection, like one swing of a katana from a master samurai, perfect straight fist punch from a karate master," they said of their Elden Ring history, adding that Malenia was the trigger. "I wanna catch up with her, the very best dancer in [a] video game I've ever se♓en." Thousands of kills later, Consort Radahn came along, putting Malenia's once-staggering difficulty curve to shame.

"I decided to fight 🅷the final dlc boss anyway," ShoulderCoffin says. "Fighting Malenia was a gift and blessing as a video gamer, I thought whoever I fight, It will be Malenia 2.0 or something, and I was completely wrong. I spent two whole days defeating PC Radahn. Almost no opportunity to punish, fast, tough. No doubt FromSoftware threw everything they got."

After checking every post and platform I possibly could, I can't say I've seen every last purported boss kill, but I am confident that ShoulderCoff🍒in is one heck of a passionate gamer with near-peerless Elden Ring achievements under their belt. Countless videos and screenshots back them up, and their story of devotion isn't the first I've heard from FromSoft diehards, though it may well be the most intense.

ShoulderCoffin says they've finally had their fill, thou𒆙gh𝓡. "I'm done. PC co-op consume my soul and ... it's pure nutcase and unbelievable," they concede.

For another standout player, meet Elden Ring's new community hero, the Elder Lord, a 72-year-old gamer with over 700 hours and New Game+7 beaten: "It was impossible, but I did it anyway"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign has been 😼out for a couple of weeks now, and if you've been exploring all that Limveld has to offer, chances are you've probably stumbled across a particularly tough mini-boss that rivals even some of the big nighttime fights with its absurd strength. Thankfully, though, it appears that one player may have found an effective way to deal with it.

The field boss in question is the Bell B🔯earing Hunter, who, although you can sometimes encounter as a Night 1 boss, you can also occasionally find while wandering the map during the day. He's a beefy, big dude, can take loads of hits before going down, and also hits like a truck, making for a foe that might make you want to turn around and look for something else a bit squishier to fight (and there's no shame in that).

﷽However, as highlighted by Reddit user oopskeedoop, the Bell Bearing Hunter may have a weakness. The player shares a clip of them staring down the boss, guarding with their weapon, as the seemingly confused foe slowly advances towards them, not attempting to fight, as the rest of the player's team mercilessly slam him with all the attacks they can. And when the guy starts trying to target someone else? There's an easy solution – just walk in front of him and block his path again.

from

"Was testing out the 'draw enemy aggression while gua🌳rding' Relic rite," the player explains. "Didn't seem to work quite as intended."

They explain further in the thread: "I had the Relic 🎶equipped on my Executor. [...] Wasn't really [planning] to body-block cheese him in any way. Not sure if I misunderstood how the Relic functioned or if [Bell Bearing Hunter] was prioritizing the people actually damaging him."

As they mention, however, it definitely doesn't seem intentional, and the player themselves doesn't "re🎐ally think this is a viable strategy. Nor did I have any idea it was repeatable!"

So, maybe don't expect this one to keep working, even if 𝓀it does for now – it might be wo🙈rth a shot if you've been struggling to beat the guy otherwise, though.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> The creative director of Splitgate 2 and CEO of the develꦡopment studio 1047 games, Ian Proulx, landed himself and his game in hot water after his Sum🥃mer Game Fest stage appearance, which he now says "was the result of lots of brainstorming from a number of people with various crazy ideas."

Proulx wore a questionable hat, took a dig at Call of Duty, said he wanted to make something new and exciting, and then 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:dropped a trailer for a battle royale mode.

Proulx says the whole issue was meant to be a joke that has since been taken out of context. "I stand by my intent and overall message ꦑthat 🦹the state of FPS is stale, needs innovation, and isn’t what it used to be, but yes, I would have done things differently," he tells .

"Our intention was simply to express our frustration with the state of FPS. We took a swipe at Call of Duty the game, at SGF, not their developers." The official Splitg🍰ate 2 account did jab at one Call of Duty developer in a .

"We know Callꦫ of Duty is filled with talented and great people, some of whom we have hired and many of whom are our frie🌱nds," Proulx continues. "We mean no disrespect to them."

He did blame the expensive $80 cosmetic bundle that players got angry about on a former Call of Duty dev who was Splitgate 2's head of monetization. Proulx describes them as "very aggressive on the pricing" and said the bundle was "澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:news to me."

To potential fans put off by all this, Proulx says: "We hope you will reconsider. With Splitgate 2 and 1047, you are going൩ to 💝get authentic devs who listen, not devs who read a script their PR trained publishers tell them to read.

"Also, the game is insanely fun and unlike anything on the market. There are very few arena shooters in this day and age, and our battle royale is unlike anything out there with the way it connects multiple worlds through massive 100ft-tal🙈l portals."

Read our own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Splitgate 2 review if you want to get an overview of the game.

Overall, the whole affair doesn't seem to have hurt Splitgate 2. Proulx says "our player base tripled" and thaꦡt the team is "seeing substantial growth on all platforms, but especially on Xbox and PlayStation."

He does add 𒉰that he didn't expect the level of controversy,🔯 and "would have tried to do something bold, but less controversial" if given the opportunity to try that SGF appearance again.

Best Attacking Operators in Rainbow Six Siege X for𝓀 Beginners

Sledge (SAS)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Sledge

Unique Ability: Breaching Hammer

Loadout options:

  • Primary: L85A2 assault rifle, M590A1 shotgun
  • Secondary: P226 MK25 pistol
  • Gadgets: Frag Grenade, Stun Grenade, Impact EMP Grenade

Sledge is a fantastic option for brand new players – he was nerfed a bit in previous seasons of Siege but now he's back in business with two speed and two health making him a well-rounded and balanced character. His unique ability isn't particularly difficult to understand, either. He has a massive sledgehammer, hence the name, which can smash through breakable surfaces with ease.

His weapons offer a decent variety of options, allowing him to take enemies out at🌸 range with his assault rifle or get in close with a shotgun. His gadgets, too, are easy to understand – two of them are pretty standard grenades as you'd find in any other FPS, while the impact EMP grenade allows him to temporarily take out electronic devices. All in all, he's a great place to start your Rainbow Six Siege X journey.

Thermite (SWAT)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Thermite

Unique Ability: Exothermic Charge

Loadout options:

  • Primary: 556XI assault rifle, M1014 shotgun
  • Secondary: M45 MEUSOC pistol, 5.7 USG pistol
  • Gadgets: Smoke Grenade, Stun Grenade

Thermite is another brilliant option for new players who is also capable of turning the tide of battle. Thermite, as the name suggests, wields exothermic charges that can cut through reinforced walls, giving your team more breach options. He, like Sledge, is als💃o very well-balanced in terms of stats. He has two speed and two health, so he's relatively quick on his feet and can take more shots before going down. We still wouldn't advise you to hang around in front of gunfire, however.

His weaponry is solid, too, with an assault rifle with a good rate of fire, counterbalanceꩲd by low destructibility potential. The semi-auto M1014 shotgun is also a fantastic option, and can be synergised with the exothermic charge for efficient and easy room clearances. In terms of gadgets, Thermite hews close to his SWAT past, and can carry either smoke or stun grenades.

Iana

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Iana

Unique Ability: Gemini Replicator

Loadout options:

  • Primary: G36C assault rifle, ARX200 assault rifle
  • Secondary: MK1 9mm pistol, GONNE-6 hand cannon
  • Gadgets: Impact EMP Grenade, Smoke Grenade

Iana is a Dutch Operator who has an𓂃 incredible unique ability – she can project a controllable holographic copy of herself to gather intel and draw enemy fire. This can be used to set up ambushes, find enemies, and more! It's super versatile and quite easy to grasp as well, making her ideal༺ for new players. As with the other Operators who we've mentioned so far, she has two speed and two health, giving her a decent balance.

Her weaponry is excellent as well – you get a choice of two assault rifles as your primary. The G36C carries more ammo and fires quickly, while the ARX200 is a heavier rifle that is great for precision shots but which only has 20 bullets per magazine. Her secondaries are interesting as well. You get a standard but versatile pistol or a hand cannon, which fires explosive projectiles. If you're having visions of China Lake grenade launchers and blowing enemies to smithereens, then you'll be disappointed. However, the GONNE-6 is excellent at destroying gadgets, and has superb ac🍎curacy.

Zero (Fourth Echelon)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Zero

Unique Ability: Argus Launcher

Loadout options:

  • Primary: SC3000K assault rifle, MP7 submachine gun
  • Secondary: 5.7 USG pistol, GONNE-6 hand cannon
  • Gadgets: Hard Breach Charge, Claymore mine

Zero is Sam Fisher. Yes, that Sam Fisher, from the Splinter Cell series, migrated over to another Tom Clancy property, but don't let that fool you into thinking he can't stand toe-to-toe with other Operators. Zero only has one health but this is counteracted by his three speed and powerful special ability. The Argus Launcher fires cameras that can punch through reinforced surfaces (in addition to standard breakable ones), as well as firing a laser that you can 💦use to distract enemies, destroy devices, or even finish off a downed enemy (though this is very hard to pull off, as the lasers do a tiny amount of damage).

His armaments are solid, particularly the MP7 SMG. While it lacks in damage compared to the SC3000K assault rifle, it has a higher rate of fire and can carry more bullets to make up for it. In terms of his secondaries, Zero also packs the GONNE-6, much like Iana, as well as the 5.7 USG which can do very decent damage. His gಌadgets are extremely useful too, with the Claymore fantastic for use in tight corridors, while the Hard Breach Charge can punch a good-sized hole through reinforced surfaces.

Best Defending Operators in Rainboꦆw Six Siege X for B💮eginners

Mute (SAS)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Mute

Unique Ability: Signal Disruptor

Loadout options:

  • Primary: M590A1 Shotgun, MP5K submachine gun
  • Secondary: SMG-11 machine pistol, P226 MK25 pistol
  • Gadgets: Nitro Cell explosives, Bulletproof Camera

Mute is a fantastic and versatile defender whose unique ability is exceptionally us✃eful. As his name implies, his signal disruptor ability can jam electronic devices, rendering the enemy team's drones useless. He's a tanky Operator, too, which isn't such a problem for defenders who are willing to set up kill zones, coming with just one speed but three health.

His weaponry boasts two solid options in the form of a pump-action shotgun and fast-firing submachine gun. While the shotgun does more damage and has a faster aim down sights (ADS) time, it's hard to beat the MP5K's rate of fire. If you prefer the shotgun, you could also consider equipping the SMG-11 as your secondary, which is effectively a bonus SMG with a small magazine. Alternatively, you can pack a punch with the P226 MK25. The gadgets are excellent as well – the bulletproof camera is exactly what it says on the tin, while the 🌳nitro cell explo🔯sives are fantastic remote-detonated plastic explosive charges.

Rook (GIGN)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Rook

Unique Ability: Armor Pack

Loadout options:

  • Primary: MP5 submachine gun, P90 submachine gun, SG-CQB shotgun
  • Secondary: LFP586 pistol, P9 pistol
  • Gadgets: Proximity Alarm, Impact Grenade, Observation Blocker

Rook is a French Operator and ano💧ther tanky one, with three health and o💮ne speed. His special ability is invaluable for any team, giving him the ability to throw down armor plates for his team to use. While a little more mundane than some of the other special abilities that we've mentioned on this list, it's extremely helpful.

His weaponry offers a good range of damage and fire rate. The P90 fires fastest but has the least damage, the MP5 is a happy medium, a🅺nd the SG-CQB shotgun is slow but hits like a truck. If you're going for high-damage loadout above all else, the LFP586 pistol is also well worth mentioning. It's a revolver that can only hold six shots, but hits very hard. If you'd prefer a more balanced approach, the P9 isn't bad either, doing less damage but holding 16 shots.

In terms of gadgets, the proximity alarm is fantastic for figuring out where enemies are, while the impact grenade is essentially an explosive tennis ball you can bean at people. The Observation Blocker, meanwhile, inhibits the view of enemy drones and CCTV, lett🌳ing you do your devilish business in secret.

Kapkan (Spetsnaz)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Kapkan

Unique Ability: Entry Denial Device

Loadout options:

  • Primary: 9x19VSN submachine gun, SASG-12 Shotgun
  • Secondary: GSH-18 pistol, PMM pistol
  • Gadgets: Bulletproof Camera, Barbed Wire

Kapkan is an excellent, balanced Operator, with two speed and two health. What really makes him worth playing, however, is his Entry ꧃Denial Device. This abil𒉰ity allows him to lay laser tripwire traps across doorways and windows, which will trigger an explosive if tripped. The damage they do is quite significant and they affect anyone within a few meters, potentially allowing you to hit several enemies with one Entry Denial Device.

His primaries are solid – the SMG does decent damage and has an okay rate of fire, while the SASG-12 semi-auto shotgun sacrifices fire rate for pure power. It's mag-fed as well, giving you 10 shots before you need to reload. His two pistols give you a balance♛d option in the form of the GSH-18 or a heavier-hitting option in the PMM. His gadgets are good, too, with a Bulletproof Camera ideal for intel gathering and Barbed Wire for area denial and slowing down enemies.

So there we have it, a selection of the best Rainbow Six Siege X Operators for beginners, whether you're attacking or defending – now get out there and start fighting over that objective!

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Explaining claims that he wasn't aware of an unpopular, now-c𒊎heaper $80 bundle in his o🍷wn game, Splitgate 2 director and CEO Ian Proulx says the studio has replaced its head of moꦰnetization and updated its practices to clean up the in-game store, which was "way overpriced until 2 months ago."

Proulx held earlier today, and on the heels of the $80 bundle backlash and price adjustment, there were understandably several players asking about it. (This is 澳洲幸ꦗ运5开奖号码历史查询:a rough time for the $80 price point, isn't it?)

"It's hard to imagine something like this slipping through the cracks," argued one Reddit user. "This comes across less like an oversight and more like a calculat🌳ed move to test๊ the waters."

, Proulx said: "I didn't intend for it to come off as shifting blame. As CEO, everything ultimately is my responsibility. The honest truth though is I was unaware of the $80 bundle and would never have allowed it to go live. But that doesn't matter because it did. So we took action immediately within 24 hours and cut the price ♚in half."

Not to dwell on "shifting blame," I will say the studio's previous monetization hea🌺d, who "happened" to have come from Call of Duty, sure is catching strays in this response.

Proulx tips his hat to 1047 Games' new product manager, "Matt (who is awesome)", and "Darek our lead game designer (also awesome)", who will apparently be joining him in new Monday meetings "to make sure I have visibility of everything going live in t꧂he store and playlists that week, so that this doesn't happen again."

Digging further into the causes of this particular $80 bundle, Proulx outright says, "Basically everything in our store was way overpriced until 2 months ago when we parted ways with our previous head of monetization. We quickly auditeꦬd things and shifted prices to be reasonable, starting with beta."

Additionally, Proulx says he hadn't had much of an eye on monetization during the past few weeks especially because he was prioritizing the launch server situation. And because "everything is in a massive spreadsheet," he says it was hard to see "what the store would look like prior to it going live." That tech ha♒s been updated, it seems, as Proulx says 1047 can now proactively test the store internally, which "should help us ca𓆉tch oversights in the spreadsheet."

This is a case where actions will speak louder than words, of course. Splitgate 2 players ought to learn relatively quickly if 1047 has amended its monetization plans and protocols as Proulx says. Today's in-game store is certainly in much better shape than it was even a few days ago, though I'm still the kind of person who recoils at the widely accepted idea that, say, a skin can cost $20 dollars. I bought a $2 mask in Monster Hunter Rise one time and I agonized over that purchase.

"We are taking specific measures to make sure the store fiasco doesn't happen again," Proulx said in🎐 response to a separate question asking how this kind of monetization mistake will be prevented.

"Regarding making sure nothing like SGF happens again," he added, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:referring to the blowback from his 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest comments (and attire), "we plan to never touch this kind of stuff again, but also to run thi𒈔ngs by more people and get more opinions before doing anything that might at all be controversial or have that many eyeballs. Also, we plan to double down on our vision of being community first and listening to our players."

Splitgate 2 CEO apologizes again, says "I'm not an idiot" and expected "some" controversy, but wasn't being political with his hat at Summer Game Fest: "We needed something to grab attention."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Right at the end of澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, viewers got a glimpse of what might just be one of the most hotly anticipated games' release windows – that of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong – and now, developers are even teasing DLC.

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong appearance during the ROG Xbox Ally reveal filled fans with hope – a hope that was further solidified when a launch window 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:sometime "before" the ⛎Holiday season was 𒉰confirmed. Not only are player𒁏s finally getting the Metroidvania sequel they've now waited for since its 2019 conception, though, but they've also apparently got DLC to look forward to already – or so Team Cherry says.

Seemingly suggesting that future content is indeed in the studio's plans, marketing l🌟ead Matthew "Leth" Griffin speaks up in conten🔥t creator Primacon's live chat during a stream on , as the YouTuber suggests that "Silkposting" (AKA the wild online posting we've seen from fans desperate for the game over the years since its announcement) is "not gonna go away" even after the Metroidvania has released.

"There's always DLC," read the developer's words – words that carry an ominous possibility in the eyes of some fans. As players write on a thread regarding the "reveal" (if you can call it that), it's all too reminiscent of Si🍌lksong's origin.

from

For anyone unaware, the sequel started as DLC for the first Metroidvan🌃ia, but spiraled into a full game of its own due to the scope of the project. Six long years have passed since then, eight in total if counting back from the original Hollow Knight's release, with little word from Team Cherry until the recent Xbox Games Showcase. It's understandable, then, that players worry the "DLC" hinted at by Griffin could unfold into a similar situation.

As one writes, "Sure hope this DLC doesn't turn into a full-fledged game that takes eight years to develop." Another frustrated fan exclaims,💞 "RELEASE THE GOD DAMN GAME BEFORE TALKING ABOUT DLC!" Elsewhere, a 💃player asks, "How do they confirm DLC before a release date for the base game?"

While there's obviously no telling what will happen yet, it's safe to say the community doesn't want DLC right now – fans want Silksong.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Look, I know you want me to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:talk about the hat. But this is a Splitgate 2 review. It's not a review of catastrophically bad fashion decisions, and it's sure as hell 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:not a review of Imagine Dragons. I love the first game – like many – and the prospect of a glossier, slickly produced sequel is an exciting one. Unfortunately, based on the evidence provided by this sequel, the one group of people who don't seem to particularly like the first game are the ones who mad🔥e it.

If you're not familiar with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Splitgate, the big twist comes down to one word: portals. Portals can be projected onto designated surfaces, and each player can have one pair of portals active at a time. Anybody can pass (or shoot) through any portal, but you can only see through your own. Therefore, the standard idea of strangers shooting one another in a✤ virtual environment remains, but with a new dimension of ambush, escape, sniping, and travel possibilities.

I'll start with some positives, of which – to be fair – there are many. It's free, for one, and there isn't so much as a sniff of pay to win to be found anywhere. If you don't want to pay anything, or if you're unable to, you also get to enjoy a complete game, with no maps or modes locked away. You'll also find that, from your very first match, this is a game that feels good.

Fast facts

Release date: June 6, 2025
Platform(s): PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, xbox One
Developer: In-house
Publisher: 1047 Games

Movement is fast without being intimidatingly so, and the lengthy slides you can perform can be as useful as they are satisfying. The real star of the movement show, though, is your jetpack. The rapidly-recharging fuel is quite limited, but opens up traversal possibilities that most FPS games don't offer. You can use it to simulate a simple double jump, but it also allows you to cross otherwise impas🉐sable gaps, or quickly reach higher platforms. Controlled bursts keep you in the air longer, and the inertia you retain from the right landing can be used to your advantage.

Some match types – such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Firecracker (essentially Search and Destroy with respawns) – will be instantly familiar. The dynamic movement already injects a ꦫnew kineticism into these, and the portal mechani𝔍c helps Splitgate 2 distinguish itself further. Take Domination, for example. One of my favorite tactics is to place each of my portals at a different objective (and hope my teammates take care of the third). This way, I defend two objectives at once, and ambushing an enemy across the map by shooting or stepping through my portal is never anything less than wickedly satisfying.

There are currently three character types – called factions – to choose from, each wearing a figure-hugging outfit so snug around the crotch, it threatens to split your gate. Your 🐈choice of character determines which passive (also given to the team) and ultimate (dependent on a cooldown) you get for the match. Meridian provides faster health regen and an ability t♏o briefly see nearby enemies through walls, Aeros allows for faster ability recharge and an ultimate that greatly increases speed, while Sabrask enjoys faster equipment recharge and the ability to summon a shield your team can shoot through but the enemy can't. While you (oddly) can't switch factions in the middle of a match, you can swap loadouts on respawn.

Going, going, gun

Shooting in the Lower Courtyard in Splitgate 2

A lot of what drives the Splitgate games is innovation and variety, which makes the weapons on offer largely disappointing. It's mostly familiar looking assault rifles, carbines, shotguns, pistols, and SMGs. There are a few exceptions – my favorite being the Splitstream, d♚ual-wielded weapons that merge into one when going aim-down-sights – but not many. That's a little disappointing, but familiar from the first game, and it's nowhere neꦕar to being the biggest problem.

Splitgate 2's biggest problem is… well, really, it's the first Splitgate. Almost everything that's done well here was done much better in the first game. Damningly, this very much includes the implementation of the portal mechanic. In part, it's due to the fact that the first game – unlike the sequel – allows you to dispel an enemy portal without sacrificing one of your own (there used to be an a🀅nti-portal grenade). That pales next to the much larger issue of map design.

The maps are consistently well designed… if you have no interest in using the portals. And if you have no interest in using the portals, why would you be playing a Splitgate game? While it's still very much possible to use portals to instantly travel great distances and perform long-range ambushes, particularly on the more open maps, opportunities such as this simply don't present themselves as often as they should (indeed, f🎉ar less often than they did in the first game). There are too many portal walls with no visibility of open spaces; too many tucked away in corners, nooks, and crannies. Opportunistic aggression via portals is discouraged, and it feels like the emphasis is now on usi❀ng portals for quick escapes.

What's in store?

The shop in Splitgate 2

A store is vital for a free-to-play game, but Splitgate 2's struggles to suggest value. Even♔ at its new price (slashed in half), the nano swarm bundle is a good example. Desperate to suggest you're getting a good deal, it includes white coloring for your portals that, if purchased separately, would require a minimum of £12/$15 of currency.

More generally, there's been a shift away from the simplicity that initially drew people to Splitgate. There were no character classes or attachments in the first game. Matches started with everybody on even footing, and success relied on scavenging weapons, clever use of portals, and good ol' FPS skills. By embracing eleme🍷nts you and I have already seen in a thousand other shooters, Splitgate is diluting its identity, and sta🌌rts to melt into the background as a result. And speaking of things we've already seen a thousand times…

Splitgate battle royale is actually a concept with a lot of potential - but this ain't it. It's not bad; in fact, it's quite good, if something that's unlikely to hold your attention for long periods at a time. I can only assume that it was a relatively late addition during the development process, as it's very poorly optimized. The game struggles with the large map, and the frame rate stutters like a 🐠lovestruck teen as a result. I've also recently started to hit a bug where, on my team's death, quitting before any and all remaining teams have finished is treated as quitting a match early. This is hopefully something 1047 Games will fix quite💙 quickly.

Looting a crate in Splitgate 2

15 teams of four go head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-(okay, you get the idea). There's the usual diving out of a ship, the usual looting crates and fallen enemies for weapons and equipment, and you start off with just your chosen class's pi𒈔stol. Unless you're unlucky enough to get picked off within seconds of landing, it's actually fairly easy to quickly ge𒈔t hold of a decent weapon and a few useful bits of loot. You can respawn so long as at least one member of your team is still alive and not in combat, too, so it's more forgiving than battle royales tend to be.

For all the talk of different bᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚiomes though, the map – technically it's four connected ones, but in effect it's one – looks uninspiring, and feels unfinished. It does the job perfectly well, but it's basically just a bunch of boxes, walls, and towers with portal surfaces surrounded by half-hearted decoration. It feels like a collection of standard arena maps stapled together rather than a carefully curated battle royale world. Random events such as double damage and extra speed keep things interesting, but it's far from the revolutionary take on the genre that we were promised.

A user made recreation of Call of Duty's Nuketown map in Splitgate 2

If you think you could do a better job of designing multiplayer maps, you've got a chance to prove it, as there's a map editor (like everything else, available for free). You can host or join custom games using your or anybody else's map, though in my experience so far, custom games attracting the maximum eight play🤪ers are pretty rare.

It also amused me to see, after Ian Proulx's public railing against the staleness of Call of Duty, that the most popular custom maps are facsimiles of Nuketown and Shipment; which themselves have been reused mult🐲iple times within that franchise. Irony u𒁏pon irony (one of the Nuketown copies is very impressive, though).

Splitgate 2 is free, it has high production values, and there's a lot of fun to be had with it. All that considered, it's definitely worth your time. Nonetheless, it's incredibly frustrating to know that it iꦿsn't as good as it could have been, and by spending more time looking back, the team could have taken the Splitgate name several leaps forward.

Splitgate 2 was reviewed on PS5.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> To the surprise of no one, Call of Duty is back this year with the recently announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. That's right, as revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 schedule, we're going straight into Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 from last year's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Black Ops 6, and it marks the franchise's return to ♐a futuristic setting. Welcome back, David Maꦑson.

We know that last year's installment was , so it seems the Xbox and Activision teams were on to something when they decided to release two new Black Ops entries back-to-back. This also signals Black Ops 7 might have been in the works for nearly as long as BO6 at Raven Software and Treyarch. No, this new game won't be handled by a different set of lead studios. Wha🐭t's new in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, though?

Beyond new weapons to level up and an all-new campaign with the option to play in co-op, what should we expect from this return to BO2's dark future and legacy characters? As its Fall 2025 launch gets closer, we're collecting everything we know here. So read on for all the information that⛄ you need to kn💯ow about the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 release window, trailer, gameplay, and more!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to launch in late 2025. This big news came our way during Summer Game Fest, and all of 🐓us FPS fans couldn't be happier.

Xbox and Activision have yet to confirm a release date, and we're expecting to get the full answer at the reveal eve🦂nt coming . If we examine Call of Duty's traditional release windows, it's logical to expect Black Ops 7 to arrive between the late October period and mid-November. Stay tuned for updates.

At launch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC via Xbox PC, Battle.net, and Steam. Of course, with Activision now being in the Xbox family, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will get it day one. But a potential release on the Switch 2 hasn't been discussed.

Despite the cutting-edge tech involved in the most recent Call of Duty games (BO6 used the IW 9.0 engine with current-gen-specific optimizations), the powers that be aren't ready to let go 🐲of last-gen consoles yet. Don't expect an optimal experience on 12-year-old hardware, though.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 trailer

At this stage, we've only received one look at Black Ops 7. It arrived right at the end of June 2025's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase and mostly consisted of a CG cutscene establishing the in-universe tech advancements in line with what we saw in 2012's Black Ops 2. It's 👍an intriguing 3-minute teaser, though.

At the very end, we get quick glimpses of what appears to be in-game action, including multiplayer maps, campaign sections, and this year's Zombies mode. Of course, there's a new menace that needs to be 🎀taken down, and David Mason is back in action. Watch out for a surprise comeback, too.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 story and setting

A man looking out at the city at night during the trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set "more than 40 years" after Black Ops 6, meaning it happens a whole decade after Black Ops 2, which took place in 2025 outside of its late-Cold War sections. If the 'numbers situation' of this sub-franchise doesn't make sense to you, know that you're not alone. It's the result of jumping all over the timeline in a very non-linear way and deciding to bring bꦆack numbered entries after Black Ops: Cold War.

Before we dive any deeper into Black Ops 7's story and setting, here's a rundown of the chronological order of the Black Ops sub-franchise: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:World at War (yes, it's connected to the series), 1, Cold War, 6, 2, 7, 4, and 3. Two important notes: If you want to avoid a bunch of spoilers, it's recommended to play 2 before 6 due to iꦑts late 1980s flashbacks, which have an impact on what comes after. Second, Black Ops 4 is skippable as it's the franchise's only multiplayer-only installment... and just isn't good overall.

With that whole mess out of the way, let's go back to Black Ops 7. Yes, it's set in 2035, and th𒉰e world is "on the brink of chaos" yet again. At this point, it's important to bring up that Black Ops 2 offered several endings depending on a couple of player choices and whether the optional Strike Force missions were completed or not before r🐼eaching the end of the campaign.

We've yet to receive confirmation on which ending has been chosen as 'canon' to shape the state of the world and the main characters when Black Ops 7's story begins, but the twisted bad guy Raul Menendez is back somehow. Many will instantly say he's not dead, but the Black Ops series is known for loopy twists and a focus on psychological warfare, so he could be back but not alive (think of The Joker's presence in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Batman: Arkham Knight). Is he alive, dead but living rent-free in David Mason's head, or just part of 𓆏an advanced AI system? All the options make sense in the Black Ops universe, so we're not ruling anything out.

Little else is known about the actual plot of the campaign, although the teaser trailer provides some clues: peace has been restored (or is in the process of being restored) thanks to an organization called The Guild. During the events of Black Ops 6, this group is involved in weapon trafficking and smuggling. 40 years later, it's evolved into a seemingly huge🌌 global weapons manufacturer led by CEO Emma Kagan. They're offering to protect the world from itself thanks to all sorts of automated weapons, drones, and robots.

Needless to say, David Mason and his team will have a hard time believing The Guild, and Raul Menendez might be key to uncovering꧂ a new conspiracy꧂.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 gameplay

This is Call of Duty we're talking about, so we're not expecting any major shake-ups to the wiꦡnning first-person shooter formula that's kept the franchise at the top of the food chain for so long. However, we must assume a number of additions introduced in 2024's Black Ops 6 – namely, the omni-movement system – are being kept around alongside ꦯrefreshed mechanics from Black Ops 2 due to the return to its futuristic setting. All the specifics are expected to be revealed when the Black Ops 7 event happens this summer.

What we do know already is the story campaign, developed by Raven Software, will be playable in co-op for the first time since Blac🍷k Ops 3 (2015). "Round-based Zombies in the heart of the Dark Aether" are also back, meaning that Activision and Treyarch aren't messing with the core structure for the foඣreseeable future. Again, we'll be learning more soon.

Can you pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 7?

Pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 aren't available yet and likely won't go live until we have a firm release date.

Expect this to change later this summer. Meanwhile, you can continue to grind through 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Black Ops 6's seasons or go back and replay every Black Ops game, some of which are in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Call of Duty games list.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Let's face it; rebranding your longstanding, hugely popular online product with a big letter 'X' is not always a smart move. Apropos of nothing however, I'll go on to say that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege X has set itself up to expand its userbase rather than decimate it, combat toxicity rather than encourage it, and overall it's the best it's ever been rather than the worst it's ever been. This is one X that does give it to us.

That big ol' X is a nod to the fact that the game is now 10 years old. With Rainbow Six Siege marking the anniversary by going free-to-play, there will be a lot of people playing🍌 for the first time. Th꧅e use of the word 'siege' in the title hints at the nature of the core modes that they'll find – both attack and defense centered around an objective or two (an area to defend, a pair of bombs, or a hostage) within a building. A prep phase sees the attacker team sending in ground drones to find the objective and identify defenders, while the defenders can reinforce (or blow holes in) walls, set traps, and choose their positions. Then, the siege begins.

The game has seen a lot of changes over the years even before Rainbow Six Siege X, but some fundamen꧑tals remain the same. For one thing, each character – or, rather, Operator – has a unique ability or gadget, and is permanently assigned to attack or defense. Fuze has a device that can shoot explosives through breakable surfaces, for example, while Castle can block doorways and windows with bulletproof barricades rather than the standard, flimsier, wooden ones. It's also important to note that, a decade on, your bullets and explosives are still just as deadly to your teammates as they are to your enemies.

X Education

Fast facts

Developer: Ubisoft Montreal
Publisher: Ubisoft
Platform(s): PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, as well as PS4 and Xbox One without Dual Front
Release date: June 10, 2025

Now, could you do me a favor, and play a record scratch sound effect in your head? Thanks. We really need to take some time out to focus on the friendly fire element. The Rainbow Six Siege X refresh will see returning players as well as new ones. Perhaps you, l💎ike me, abandoned the original a number of years ago due to the omnipresent toxicity rampaging through the community. One of the most visible elements of this toxicity was intentional teamkills, which would be seen🍒 on one or both teams – in my experience, at least – in almost every single match. I'm pleased to report, therefore, that this behavior now seems to be relatively rare.

Although put into place long before the X refresh, the reputation system will be a powerful reason for many lapsed players to return. It's a transparent system that issues positive or negative points depending on behavior, with rewards and punishments doled out according to your current reputation status (Dishonorable, Disruptive, Respectable, Esteemed, and Exemplary). Don't worry about being punished for the occasional (and inevitable) accidental teamkill, or friendly gadget destruction. It's annoying to pick up negative points for an accident, but the way the system is set up, in order to be demoted you'll have to be going really heavy on the teamkil🔯ls and nasty chat. Itౠ's an imperfect system, but its positive impact is self-evident and very, very important.

There are still, um, enthusiastic members of the comm💖unity to be encountered, but so far I've found it's just edgy trash talk that can be fixed with muting and hitting the off switch on text chat. The addition of a long-needed communication wheel ensures that you'll still be able to help and warn your team if chat isn't your thing, too. The core experience blossoms as a result. Now, you're free to concentrate on the fact that caution is key, as it's no exaggeration to say that you can sometimes plummet from maximum health to death within a single second (maybe two if the opponent's aim is a little off). Every match is tense, each kill a thrill. No longer do I fear my teammates as much as (or more than) the players on the opposing team.

Not only do they look a littl♛e prettier, new destructible elements have been addeℱd.

Maps get a subtle overhaul too, with tweaked versions of Bank, Clubhouse, Border, Chalet, and Kafe available at launch. Not only do they look a little prettier, new destructible elements have been added. Gas pipes will spit flame before eventually exploding, while damaged fire extinguishers can block visibility. Som﷽e pipes are strategically placed so that the jet of flame will temporarily block a window or doorway, though you can simply wait it out. A more impactful change is that Operators now clearly cast shadows, a new element to keep in mind when sneaking around those tight corners.

Make it rainbow

Smooth operators

Key art for the operator Clash in Rainbow Six Siege X, showcasing the shock pulse shield

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Rainbow Six Siege X Operators are balanced well across both attack and defense, with some mirrored abilities. Both sides, for example, have ones who can ghost e-surveillance, or proviꦿde bulletproof shielding. Unlock order is vital.

Clash – the only defender armed with a shield – sees a rework with the launch of Rainbow Six Siege X. Previously, her body-height electro shield was armed with a shock pulse that would slow and damage opponents, and switching to a weapon took a few seconds that could feel like a few minutes. Most of this is still true, with two significant changes. Firstly, she now has the option of setting the shield down like a portable barricade (which can be charged through), leaving her free to move and shoot behind it, 🍸while the shock blast can be activated remotely. The second change is that while the shock still slows enemies, it no longer damages them. This is indicative of a wider change to how electricity works.

Now, electricity treats all players the same. It deals no damage to either team regardless of the source, meaning that electrified barbed wire (for example) can no longer be used to chip away at opponent health. Electrified reinforced walls will still destroy any breaching gadgets applied to them, and electrified barbed wire will still destroy incomin🌊g drones that pass through it, but it's no longer an element that can support bullets and explosions for player damage.

The major addition that Rainbow Six Siege X brings is a brand new mode, Dual Front. This is 6v6 rather than 5v5, takes place in the biggest map to date (District), and – although it's an attack and defense mode – there are respawns. The twist here is that both teams are attacking and defending simultaneously, with victꦓory handed to the side that captures all three opposing sectors in sequence first. The hope seems to be that this new mode will snare players attracted by the free-to-play nature of the X update. In addition to the inclusion of respawns, equipment supplies will slowly regenerate over time, available Operators are a rotating selection of 35 – everybody has the same pool of defenders and attackers – and, while dead, you can spawn a temporary drone on a teammate you're spectating to support with recon.

When in drone

A wide view of the District map in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege X, used for the new Dual Front mode

District is an excellent map. The multi-level buildings have the imposing corridors, threatening corners, and destructible walls, fl𝄹oors, and ceilings that you'll find in the core modes. The outside areas offer some limited cover, but are infused with a sense of vulnerability as you make your way from one building to the next. As outside areas are now important to both teams, sniping spots have been scattered around. There's even a roof you can get on top of; but, this being Rainbow Six Siege, there are multiple angles you could be attacked from yourself up there.

Although each Operator has been deliberately calibrated for play in a claustrophobic environment, they all work excellently in Dual Front. In part, this is due to the fact that the💫 primary task – capturing each of the enemy's three zones in turn while defending your own – still follows the rule of 'static objective within a building'. The ability to select a new Operator on respawn, meanwhile, allows you to adapt to any specific enemy Operator giving you a hard time, or change tactics when it becomes clear that your team needs more emphasis on attack or defense.

A top down view of action in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege X's new Dual Front mode, on the District map

It's a carefully designed experience that mostly works well, but I do think that new players looking for a casual free-to-play experience will bounce off Dual Front with record-breaking velocity. For one thing, the 30 second wait to respawn can be agonizing. The temporary drone gimmick is a great idea that softens the blow, but 𝄹the speed with which you can be killed can be pretty dispiriting when you've just spent 30 seconds jogging to your objective.

Movement is another thing. It's fairly slow and heavy, but that's by no means a bad thing; it's an important part of Rainbow Six's identity. So too, however, is the fact that it has The Loudest Footsteps In Gaming. Everybody stomps around like an angry teenager storming up the stairs to their bedroom to play My Chemical Romance at maximum volume. As a result, if you don't have the patience to slowly sneak♌ the greater-than-usual distance to your destination, an enemy lying in wait will hear you coming long before they see you. This is something Rainbow Six veterans will know and accept, but it'll be much harder for new players to spend the time adapting to.

Rainꦍbow Six Siege no🦄w finds itself in the best position it's ever been in for player onboarding.

Regardless of the mode, the sheer volume of Operators R💦ainbow Six Siege X now includes means that new players will have a lot of learnin📖g to do. Questions may include "How did they know where I was?", "Why did that window explode?", "Why isn't my device working?", and of course, the classic "What the [expletive removed] just happened?".

Nonetheless, with Rainbow Six Siege X, the game now finds itself in the best position it's ever been in for player onboarding. In addition to challenges to unlock Operators and modes, there are modes to familiarise yourself with the many maps and w🌠eapons outside of PvP, and each Operator now has a page with simple, easy to understand tutorials explaining their unique features to help⛦ you decide whether to spend your hard-earned Renown (or hard-purchased Credits) on them. And, of course, now you can start playing for free.

Rainbow Six Siege X manages to provide something for everyone. Existing players get a new mode, a character rework, and multiple small but meaningful improvements. Lapsed players will find an experience that's instantly familiar, yet noticeably improved in some important ways. New players get the benefit of 10 years worth of development for free… so long as they have the patience for the more hardcore elements, and a willingness to slowly learn what over 70 Operators can do and how they inཧteract with one another. WIth a refined experience and the promise of an expanded playerbase, Rainbow Six Siege X just might keep going for another 10 years.

The long-awaited Metroidvania sequel did, however, briefly appear via gameplay footage shown on the newly announced 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ROG Xbox Ally, raising more than one eyebrow among th🧸e𒁏 fatigued Hollow Knight community.

"I hear it's gonna play Silksong when it comes out," Official Xbox Podcast host Jeff Rubenstein☂ tells Spencer , rounding out a discussion on the Xbox Ally reveal.

"That's right, that's right," Spencer begins. "Thank you. That was a good partnersh📖ip, to kind of feed them ওin and have them play a role in our hardware lineup."

Spencer stops the Silksong train then and there. Xbox has been burned on Silksong hype before, famously indicating three ꦚyears ago that the game would be out within a year, but has grown more reserved as Team Cherry's lips grew tighter and its ꦜdevelopment pipeline stretched ever longer.

The Silksong army, burrowing through even the thinnest Steam backend updates like termites through wood, has kept a close record of every tease, trace, and theory around, and a lot of them do orbit Xbox. I can't definitively say that Spencer spoke with 澳洲幸运5开𒊎奖号码历史查询:the expectations of the Skong faithful weighing on his nerves, but he was certainly quick to talk about what are now the mos𓄧t commonplace games of all time instead.

"But it is really about playing the Windows games that you wanna play," he says of the Xbox Ally. "So if you're a big Roblox player, if you're a Fortnite player, if you're a Minecraft player, if you love Game Pass, we want to make sure the way you've built your library as a player, and the games that you want to go play, are available on this device🥀 and that they play incredibly well."

ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X "have access to all the games you can play on Windows PCs," so you'll be able to play PlayStation games like The Last of Us and God of War.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Fortnite Supernova Gear is a collective term for some of the fresh guns and items that have been added to the battle royale, but this may be causing a degree of confusion as it isn't a term used in relation to specific weapons within the game itself. However, it is used in the wording of several 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite quests that you need them for, so understandably it helps if you're aware of what you should b✅e trying to find. With that in mind, h🌱ere's everything you need to know about Supernova Gear in Fortnite and where to get it.

What is Supernova Gear in Fortnite?

Supernova Gear in Fortnite is comprised of some of the fresh guns and items that were added for Season 3, as part of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite new weapons drop. Specifically, this🅰 gear consists of the superhero equi🔯pment that includes:

  • Bass Boost
  • Killswitch Revolvers
  • Myst Gauntlets
  • Tracking Visor

Naturally, for quests that involve dealing damage specifically with Supernova Gear, the Bass Boost isn't much help due to its low damꦰage output and the Tracking Visor has no damage output at all. However, for other assignments they can be used to prime yourself before switching to regular weapons to deal the necessary da𓂃mage within a certain amount of time.

Where to get Fortnite Supernova Gear

Fortnite Supernova Gear can generally be found around the island, as both floor loot or in Chests and Hero Caches, as well as purchased from certain 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite characters in exchange for gold bars. However, the easiest way to get it is to head to the Supernova Academy P🐼OI, found to the north of the island, and search around the buildings. Not only are there Academy Stands that will deposit Supernova Gear when interact☂ed with, but as your Hero Rank increases you can also unlock the secret tech labs in the basement that have even more Supernova Gear for you to claim.

Speaking to GamesRadar+ at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, Iizuka admits he hasn't yet had a go of the Switch 2 racer, but "from the videos, it looks like Nintendo did a good job of putting in a lot of fun, so it's more of like an action game. I see a l🍷ot of that coming through."

And to be fair, some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:wild tech that players are pulling off in Mario Kart does have the vibes of an action game.

But as for Sonic, the team at Sega is going for a different vibe. "Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds game is different in that it was made by the Sega arcade racing team along with the Sonic Team" Iizuka says, adding 🎉"the focus really is on racing and on that competitive play."

He also speaks about the central mechanic of CrossWorlds in which you travel between different realms mid-race, "having the travel rings kind of change up the race every time you race. So even if you're playing the same course, you're going to have a different experience." He adds: "And there's something really different in the kart 🐎racing genre that we think ൲everyone's going to get really excited about."

Iizuka also talked about cross-platform play being important to the team (something that was used as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:a dig at "another kart racing game" during its Summer Game Fest reveal). "So cross platform play is in there, and you can go ahead and race and have that competitive experience against anyone on any platform. That really makes it exciting.♏"

Plus, Sonic Racing has Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza and is rumored to be getting SpongeBob down the line, so suไddenly that Cow isn't looking as cool as before.

Mario Kart World players have found the optimal way to unlock every vehicle, and it involves driving slowly behind a pedestrian car for 25 minutes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> All is not what it seems in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring Nightreign. The co-op 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring spin-off appears to use a slightly different stats system to its forebear, but growth is extremely similar, and some as♒pecꦜts matter much more than others.

Zullie the Witꦇch, a popular YouTuber who explores FromSoftware games ඣin-depth, has dug into the Nightfarers (the new action RPG's playable characters) and what each one actually offers you. They start by noting the game's use of letter grades for character stats, then looking at the overall progression.

During each run of Nightreign, you can grow your character up to 15 levels. On its face, this streamlines Elden Ring's approach where you pick statistics to push during your play-through. But ultimately, the same thing is happening across the two games, since boosts are uneven level 🎶to level.

As an example, Ironeye's vigor and dexterity grow considerably every time you level-up, but almost every other stat is much more staggered. Strength ba🧔rely moves in the upper levels. In contrast, Raider's strength is always getting buffed, but their dexterity tapers off.

What constitutes each grade varies as well, as Zullie notes an S in intelligence is not the same as an S in dexterity. It's all a bit muddy, but a big takeaway is getting to level 15 isn't as useful as you might🔯 think. In a lot of cases, getting as far as 10 may suffice, as the overall changes are less dramatic in the later levels. Zullie notes that there seems to be a bit of a soft cap of sorts around level 12.

Even Relics aren't helping you so much. When you're late into your 🌃run and into the teens level-wise, other buffs are considerably more helpꦰful.

Zullie provides stat sheets to help guide you towards what's optimal for your playstyle. A real benefit is not wasting potential buffs in areas youܫ won't really see a tangible♛ improvement. Defeating the Nightlords is hard work, you need every advantage.

What followed was the announcement of a battle royale mode in the year of our lord 2025, as well as players discovering $80 cosmetic bundles in the por🔥tal shooter.

Proulx has now explained why prices were that high, and he blames a former 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Call of Duty developer.

"No excuse, of course, I should have been on this," he starts in a video posted to Twitter. "The second I got off that stage, I called Derek, our lead game designer, and I said, 'Derek, did you know we had an $80 bundle? This is news to me, like what the heck? That m🍒akes no sense.'"

Now, some of you may be alarmed if a director doesn't know how much players are being charged for bun🎀dles in his game. "Our former head of monetization, who happened to come from Call ꧑of Duty, was with us for less than a year and was very aggressive on the pricing," Proulx alleges.

🌠After Proulx's comments on the SGF stage about being "tired of playing the same Call of Duty every year," and the Splitgate Twitter account a current CoD developer beღfore deleting the tweet, I would have thought he'd leave CoD out of it.

Proulx then claims that under this former CoD dev's influence, Founder's Packs were originally $100 and Battle Passes were $10, but he and and the lead game designer slashed them down to $60 and $5 respectively. Somehow, the $80 cosmetic bundle that has since been halved to $40, "slipped through the cracks."

He assures us all🦋 that "I fundamentally believe the best way, as a business, truly, to make money, is not to charge the players an egregious amount. It's to be generous, and thoughtful, and listen to feedback. [...] That is our philosophical view with Splitgate 2."

Splitgate 2 launched to "Mixed" reviews on Steam with players calling out the exp💎ensive microtransactions and the hypocrisy in criticizing Call of Duty but then adopting its same strategies and m🌃odes. So, while Proulx continues to throw shade at CoD, he has at least listened to players regarding pricing.

Proul𒉰x finishes by saying: "I'm sorry about the $80 bundle. It's crazy. It was a shock to me when I found out, and that's no excuse. But you can expect, just like we reduced prices yesterda🦹y from $80 to $40, that's going to be our philosophy going forward, is being player friendly, player first, we want this to be affordable."

In the meantime, catch up on everything that was announced at Summer Game Fest 2025.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dying Light: The Beast w♋ill have a greater focus on guns being just a▨s viable a combat option as melee weapons, despite the series' focus on hand-to-hand combat.

To say the Dying Light series has had a complicated relationship with guns isn't an assumption on my part; it's literally the words of the series' franchise director, Tymon Smektała. during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, Smektała walked us through Dying 🌼Light's messy history with guns and pe🌊w pewing.

Smektała (half-) joked that "if Dying Light and guns were on Facebook, their relationship status ꦿwould be, 'it's complicated'."

He explained that Techland received a lot of feedback from🥂 people playing the original Dying Light and asking "why did you even bother to have the guns" in such a melee-focused game, and so "in the second one, we didn't." But then, naturally, "the first thing we heard after the release [of Dying Light 2] was 'but, where are the guns?'"

Future Dying Light 2 updates would eventually add guns, even though this presented a unique "lore and narrative challenge" because "we even specifically put that in the world building, in the lorꦅe, that there are no guns in this world."

Although Techland somehow 𓆉"ma𝕴naged to squeeze them in," there are still pretty prevalent narratives online that guns in Dying Light 2 are either or .

You can probably understand then that Techland decided to put a bigger focus on balancing firearm combat in Dying Light: The Beast. "For Dying Light: The Beast, we decided, 'let's give the players the guns if they want, but also let's focus on the guns so they really feel on par with melee combat in terms of how physical they are, how brutal they are, bu🍎t also balanced they are, so they don't feel too ov🌜erpowered."

I genuinely feel for the team at Techland on this, as yes, the Dying Light series is built around fast-paced parkour traversal and, chiefly, the comically gruesome slicing and dicing of zombies, particularly toward the endg🔯ame when you can start crafting wildly silly killing machines that make mincemeat out of the undead.

ꩵGuns have always felt a li﷽ttle out of place, but with Techland making this public commitment to improving them, there's reason to be hopeful for a more balanced assortment of weapons overall.

Techland announced during SGF that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dying Light: The Beast is ౠlaunching on August 22 across PS5, PS4, Xbox S🧔erie𝕴s X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

"For us, it really is Dying Light 3": Techland admits Dying Light 2 "lost the horror, lost the tension," but says The Beast is "the best Dying Light that we have ever made"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dying Light: The Beast isn't officially Dying Light 3, but it has evolved from Dying Light 2 DLC into its own standalone game, and the folks at Techland say it's meaty enough to co🉐nstitute a full-blown sequel.

Among 澳洲幸运5开奖号码ꦉ历史查询:everything announced at Summer Game Fest 2025, we learned that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dying Light: 💖Thꦿe Beast is launching on August 22 across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. In the wake of that reveal, sat down with Dying Light franchise director Tymon Smektała, who was candid about some of the less-than-favorable comparisons between Dying Light 2 a𒈔nd its acclaimed predecessor.

꧃"Dying Light 1 was a game for our core community. It was a hardcore survival horror, open-world, action adventure with very strong survival aspects," he said. "For Dying Light 2, we forgot about it. The game was a commercial success, but the players who should be closest to🦂 our hearts said we kind of lost the edge, we lost the threat, we lost the horror, we lost the tension."

As someone who gleefully logged dozens upon dozens of hours in Dying Light 1, but ⭕couldn't get into Dying Light 2, it excites me to no end that Techland used the original game as a template for The Beast.

Even still, with the new game 🔜starting out as Dying Light 2 DLC, it's been hard for me not only to shake that association but also view it as anything more than a standalone expansion. Apparently, that perception is dead wrong, as The Beast has a whole new 💞setting and characters, with Smektała saying it took him around 37 hours to finish his latest playthrough.

"For us, it really is Dying Light 3," he said, later adding that the only reason it isn't a full-fat numbered sequel is because "it doesn't bring this very spectacular breakthrough new feature that maybe you would expect from the next numbered entry 🎀in the series," even though it's "a very proper triple-A game" and "very chunky."

The Beast brings back original Dying Light protagonist Kyle Crane as its main charact꧅er, and now that he's out of captivity he's thirsty for revenge against the Baron, the scientist who's been experimenting on Crane and giving him supernatural powers. I suppose, in hindsight, that should've been m♌y clue that Techland listened to fans wanting more Dying Light 1 influence in the series' next game. Count me in.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best horror games to play tonight.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> Between titles like Streets of Rage 4, Cadence of Hyrule, and Th🦹e Rogue Prince of Persia, we're starting to see more and more indie studios get a crack at building new entries in vener🎉able franchises. I was already on board for this trend, but an hour with Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound has convinced me that it's the absolute best thing happening in video games today.

I always hesitate to put this kind of hyperbole in a preview piece, but Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is simply awesome. Drop in the caveat here that the full game might have some fatal flaw that drags the whole thing down, but through four levels from across various sections of the game, I've been absolutely ho꧙oked.

Maybe it shouldn't be a surprise to say that the devs at The Game Kitchen, the studio behind the澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: best Metroidvania games out there in the Blasphemous series, have created an excellent 2D action game. But Ragebound manages the rare achievement of keeping the spirit of the legendari꧃ly tough-as-nails Ninja Gaiden series alive while giving us something that still feels fresh and exciting in 2025.

Key Info

Developer: The Game Kitchen
Publisher: Dotemu
Platform(s): PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch
Release date: July 31, 2025

The first thing you'll notice about Ragebound is how good it looks. The game mimics the cinematic cutscene style of the original NES games, but with striking modern pixel art. The 2D action stages are similarly impressive, most of all for the tremendous variety of animations you'll see. Did the tutorial mission need custom art to show longtime ser🐻ies protagonist Ryu Hyabusa opening a letter or viciously piledriving you into the floor when you fail to defeat him in cꦬombat? No, but the sheer spectacle is certainly appreciated.

You play as Kenji Muzo, an apprentice to Ryu who's left behind to deal with a demonic invasion all on his own. The plot liꩲkely won't be the main draw here, but snappy dialog offers some nice context to the stages – and gives The Game Kitchen opportunity to continue building on the uneasy religious themes the studio keeps coming back to as Kenji builds an uneasy alliance with the assa🐬ssin Kumori, who can commune with the demon realm.

Kenji has the abilities you'd expect from the protagonist of a 2D Ninja Gaiden game, with wall-climbing, ceiling-crawling, and sword-slashing all on the menu. It all feels excellent, from the sticky wall-jump to the exact reach of your blade, but the best part is the double-jump – which you can only acti🌊vate by simultaneously attacking a midair enemy, projectile, or object. If you've played The Messenger, an excellent but unlicensed indie take on Ninja Gaiden, you'll feel right at home with this jump mechanic, but it's a bit streamlined and feels even better here.

Kumori serves as a sort of sidekick – the Kazooie to Kenji's Banjo. Once she joins up with Kenji partway through the game, 𓆏you can use her to send out various subweapon attacks, like straightline throwing knives or big, arcing axe throws. They're very reminiscent of classic Castlevania subweapons, especially in how they're governed by a limited resource bar, which here you refill by killing𓆏 enemies.

The final big wrinkle here is the hyper charge mechanic. Certain enemies will enter the field encased in a colored light, and if you kill them with an appropriate attack – blue for melee, or purple for ra🦂nged – you'll be empowered with a superchargꦏe that can instantly kill even the toughest foes. Most of the monsters go down in one or two hits, but some big baddies are either armored or can take a good half-dozen strikes to defeat.

You're encouraged, then, to wait a second or two before engaging the enemy, looking for the enemies you can use to build a hyper charge, and chaining between them to slice through the field in seconds. Like the NES games, it rewards you for memorizing the optimal path through each en🔯counter, but if you make a few kills in the wrong order, it's not the end of the world, as it'll just take a little extra effort to clear the encounter.

Ragebound is challenging, but it's not brutal the way its predecessors could often be. That's largely thanks to the regular checkpoints positioned throughout each stage, which makes retrying the hard parts a snap. If you die, that just means an opportunity to do better next time, and the controls are s🌠o precise that locking in that kind of mastery feels incredible.

"You can immediately picture how wild the speedruns are ♌going to look."

Take the game's first boss for example, a dragon-like demon cre𓃲ature who kept catching me out after his big charge move, when he'd toss a couple of molten fireballs out that happen to land right at the inconvenient edge of the range of my invincible dodge roll. Every time I got hit, it was clear what I was doing wrong. ꧙I died twice trying to beat him, but on the third attempt I killed him without even taking a hit.

You can play pretty sloppily and still get through a stage, but Ragebound challenges you to do better with bonus objectives for doing things like killing enemies with certain types of attacks or clearing a stage without dy♓ing. There are also collectibles to find, and many of these mechanics tie into some sort of upgrade system that wasn't available in the demo. I cꦡan already see myself running these stages over and over to perfect them before moving on once the final game hits, though.

Ragebound's ability to inspire that chase for perfection is probably the greatest illustration of what it's doing right. It's challenging enough that no encounter is a cakewalk, but it always feels downright obvious how you could've done it better. It's the kind of game where you can immediately picture how wild the speedruns are going to look – a carefully choreographed and very violent danc🥂e. I can't wait to play more.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Xbox-one ]]> It turns out that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 could ha🍸ve ended quite differently, as one scrapped conclusion planned to see Geralt set off on a "suicide mission" which was "kind of inspired by Mass Effect 2."

This was revealed by lead writer Marcin Blacha inꦛ a recent , who mentions that some of the "biggest changes" made to the game between its development and the final version were related to the titular Wild Hunt. Geralt was once planned to be "kind of like an insider," and "doing stuff pretending to be one of them."

The scrapped ending sounds particularly interesting, with Blacha upfront in saying that "Mass Effect 2 was a huge inspiration for the game." He continues: "Initially, we had an ending that was kind of inspired by Mass Effect 2… that moment when Geralt gathers a party and goes on a s🥃uicide mission.

"It was on a Skellige 🔯drakkar you were sailing into a frozen sea, and you were supposed to fight the Wild Hunt on this drakkar."

In the end, CD Projekt Red "redesigned" the ending "a little bit," having instead "decided to make this more personal ending." Clearly, the idea wasn't scrapped in its entirety, with the whole boat on an icy sea setting carrying forth to the actual ending, when Geralt takes on the King of the W🌟ild Hunt.

No game is without its scrapped ideas, and it makes you wonder in this case how many bits of content that got edited out of The Witcher 3 could make an appearance in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4. A recent Witcher 4 tech demo revealed that Manticores feature in the upcoming RPG, o🌌ver 10 years since they were apparently cut from the last game, so that's just one example.

The Witcher 4 devs are inspired by RPGs like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Baldur's Gate 3, but "definitely are not going to make a game like Larian did."
