As revealed in the official press release, GTA 6 is currently only sla🅰ted to arrive on the PS5 and Xbox Series X and won't b🉐e coming to PS4 or Xbox One when it launches in 2026 - making it a current-gen exclusive.
Although Take-Two's latest update to its terms of service and privacy policy was released in February, concerns were raised among fans only recently, when they were greeted with the agreements upon loading their Borderlands games. These have ranged from concerns about the collection of data, such as account🔯s and telephone numbers, to more extreme allegations that the games could somehow function like "spyware" if users agree to the updated terms.
All this has led to a widespread review bombing of the games on Steam. Right now, Borderlands 2 is being offered for free for a limited time, but the recent reviews have been ♉flooded with complaints about the terms of service. Now, though, two prominent Borderlands modders are trying to reassure the fanbase that there's "nothing new" about the agr💙eement in the first place, and it certainly shouldn't have an impact on any game modding.
"I'm sure with thousands of new players trying Borderlands 2 for the first time, I'm bound to be asked 'What about the TOS?!,'" Borderlands modder Epic (the same person leading the effort to revive the Borderlands Online MMO) writes on Twitter. "I've told people it's n𓂃othing new many times before. But don't just take my word for i💯t, here is trusted modder Apple's statement on it."
I'm sure with thousands of new players trying Borderlands 2 for the first time, I'm bound to be asked "What about the TOS?!"I've told people 🅺it's nothing new many times before. But don't just take my word for it, here is trusted modder Apple's statement on it :D pic.twitter.com/lLAZoHwZFj
Epic shares a Discord message from Apple1417, who's created a number of mods before for the Borderlands games. "Recently there's been a lot of misinformation and fearmongering concerning the new 2K TOS," they write. "Rest assured, there is nothing different about it compared to what was there previously – the main clause everyone's freaking out about was already there.
"It will not have any effect on Borderlands modding," they continue, adding: "We'🐟ll remind you the G🦂earbox forums used to have a modding section, all the way since [Borderlands 1], they've never even taken any steps against it, let alone legal action. So please, don't worry about it."
Whether this will serve to calm down anxious fans is another matter, though. After all, 💎the number of negative reviews on Borderlands 2 has only risen since being offered for free, despite the fact that the backlash started weekꦛs ago, and even back then, some fans suggested that people were "overreacting" to the whole thing.
]]>As pointed out by a player in a recent thread, the Borderlands games are currently facing a review bomb of sorts on Steam. The debacle boils down to Take-Two's recently updated user agreement, which is outlined on the holding company's . "People are review bombing the entire Borderlands se🥀ries because of EULA changes that can apparently gain root-level access to your machine under the guise of 'anti-cheat' software."
The poster continues, explaining how fans are upset at the prospect of Take-Two collecting "personal info like accounts, passwords, telephone numbers, etc." One loo🅰k at the Steam pages for each of the three main Borderlands entries serves as proof that players are indeed upset about the new terms of service. Under the first game's recent reviews, which have dropped to "Mixed," people share their concerns about the user agreement.
from
"I don't feel comfortable with the terms of service," writes one such fan. Another sim💫ply calls the game "spyware" following the integration of Take-Two's new terms of service. The page for Borderlands 2 also shows "Mixed" reviews, with players highlighting their worries over the user agreement and how they're afraid it affects their privacy online: "This collects usernames and passwords, IP locations and browser history data."
Recent Borderlands 3 reviews don't look much better, either. One fan exclaims that "recent EULA changes seem insane," while others describe how now "mods are a bannable offense" and any "display of cheats/exploits is bannable" despite the game being largelꦇy single-player/co-op rather than an online experience where anti-cheat measures make sen🐭se. Elsewhere, people cite the legal implications of Take-Two's new user agreement.
Not everyone is convinced the changes spell the end of Borderlands as fans know and love it, however. As seen on the Reddit post covering the review bombing, some think players are "overreacting" currently: "People are overreacting for sure. Thไe EULA is hardly any different than the one before it all the way back in 2018." Just as the g💝ames' reviews are now "Mixed" on Steam, then, so are the community's opinions on the terms of service.
]]>As part of its , publisher Take-Two confirmed that GTA 5 has sold-in 215 million units, up from 210 in the last quarterly report. That'll include some physical stock being held by retailers that hasn't yet been sold through to consumers, but that's a pretty negligible caveat, especially consid🍒ering that Take-Two reported another 5 million copies of GTA 5 sold every single quarter this year.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is also selling by the wagonload, with 4 million copies sold in the past three months. Citing venerable industry analyst group Circana, Take-Two says RDR2 is the "best-sellin𒈔g title of the past 7 years in the US based on dollar sales."
That sales record might actually rankle long-time fans of the game, since Red Dead Onli🦂ne has effectively been abandoned by Rockstar despite all this success, and its lack of updates continues to b🥀e a point of contention in the community.
There's no such shortage of content for GTA Online, however. During yesterday's investor Q&A, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick called GTA 5 the "stand⛎ard-bearer for 🥂our industry," and honestly, it's tough to argue against that point. No wonder the everyone e♉xpects GTA 6's sales success to be downright astronomical.

Among the third-party announcements was a massive block from 2K Games (which is owned by Take-Two, as is Rockstar Games), confirming that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Civilization 7, and future installments of the NBA 2K and WWE 2K series a🐭re coming to the console.
Zelnick speaks about the announcements during the earnings call, and talks about being a third-party publisher for Nintendo. "Historically, being a third-party in the Nintendo business has ♐been a bit challenging. I think Nintendo has been very forthcoming in addressing that" Zelnick says.
Ho෴wever, the blame can't entirely be put in Nintendo's lap; all you need to do is look at on Switch to see that. But Zelnick seemingly acknowledged this too, saying, "we're stepping up too, because we have great optimism for the platform."
Of course, the question on everyone's minds is will GTA 6 come to Nintendo Switch ꦇ2 down the line, and while he didn't mention this dir൩ectly, Zelnick did talk about the process behind what games will come to Nintendo's handheld.
"In terms of what we would bring to any platform, we address it on a case-by-case basis. We obviously want to be where the consumers are, but you know, we would not necessarily bring every title to every platform," he explains.
Nintendo Switch 2 is arguably "the most important product launch in video game history," analysts say, who reckon it will have sold 100 million in its first 5 years.
"Nobody I've talked to at Rockstar has believed Fall 2025 was a real window for a very long time now," according to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, . "Too much work, not enough time, and what appe⛎ars to be a real desire from management to avoid brutal crunch. GTA VI slipping to 2026 has seemed🐷 inevitable for months, if not longer."
Rockstar parent company Take-Two has repeatedly reasserted that GTA 6 would launch in 2025, though CEO Strauss Zelnick has acknowledged that ✱"there's always a risk of slippa🌠ge." Today, Zelnick wrote that the company will "support fully Roc🐭kstar Games taking additional time to realize their cr✤eative vision."
Assuming that the delay is, indeed, partly down to a "real desire" to avoid crunch, it's a remarkable turnaround for Rockstar's work culture. Widespread reports of brutal crunch hung over♚ the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 b꧂ack in 2018, so hopefully thiꦅngs have genuinely improved at the studio in the years since.
🧜As players, though... well, we've already waited 12 years for GTA 6. We can handle one more – assuming you're not holding out fo🃏r the eventual PC version, that is.

]]>Lawrence Sullivan, aka The 'Florida Joker', has taken to TikTok once again to 'negotiate' with GTA 6 developer Rockstar and parent company Take-Two after insisting that the company stole his likeness for the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 trailer that released in December. "GTA… we gotta talk," Sullivan says again in the most recent video. "I'm really not trying to sue y'all so I'm going to give y'all an extra month" - previously, Sullivan demanded $1 - 2 million for use of his likeness.
Update 6: Florida Joker is now asking Rockstar𓄧 for a deal to voice his character in GTA 6: “I’m really not trying to suꦓe y’all, but if I got to, I will.” //t.co/Hse0ABLDaB pic.twitter.com/bAvDLMaUhD
"Hit me up, let me voice the character, give me more storyline in the game and give me a few mill [...] let's make history happen," Sullivan said in the TikTok. Similar to last time, Sullivan credits his content about GTA 6 for bringing more attention to the upcoming game: "Y'all see what I did for the game. We made news, we made the blogs, everybody's covering me." Sullivan then cha🅠llenged Rockstar to find anyone in the state of Florida who could instead be consider꧃ed the 'Florida Joker.'
Sullivan clearly isn't letting go of this comparison any time soon. Previously, the TikToker dyed his hair purple to demonstrate how alike he is to the character and has even gone as far as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:threatening to free the GTA 6 hacker as they up their compensat✨ion from a few million dollars to $10 million. S𝄹ullivan ends the video by reiterating that he doesn't want to get lawyers involved but "if I've got to, I will."
In other Grand Theft Auto news, a GTA 5 actor has offered advice to the GTA 6 cast: "The most important thing is that the fans are the game."
]]>Original story: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 fans can't believe the day has finally come for us to (hopefully) get some real upd🎶ates from Rockstar about its upcoming game.
On November 8, 2023, a report by Bloomberg suggested that GTA 6 could be announced "as early as this week" - with a trailer also expected next month. Although this is just speculation right now (since Rockstar or parent company Take-Two haven't s꧒aid anything official yet), it's enough to get GTA fans' hopes up as well as a little nervous about the outcome.
Over on the GTA 6 , fans have been sharing their excitement and theories, with many that we could be getting that rumored trailer during this year's The Game🥂 Awards on December 7 or around the time of Rockstar's 25th anniversary, which is also sometime next month.
Others have pointed out that this report has been published right before Take-Two Interactive's , which is set to take place later today and could also reveal something𒐪 about the upcoming game.

"This is a real source not a 'Leaker' so I'm getting hyped," one f♒an in the subreddit says.
"This is the first time since the le💃aks I've been legitimately excited. It's happenꦡing," another adds.
It seems like GTA 6 fans don't even care what Rockstar shows this week, they're just happy to have something to be excited about - especially after the massive 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 leak that we got just over a year ago.
Saying that, though, some fans have beguဣn theorizing what Rockstar will show off this week if the report turns out to be accurate. "The first teaser for RDR2 was literally just a black and red Rockstar logo. I'm assuming the teaser will just be their logo with a [Vice City] vibe," one user has . "Anticipating their logo with a palm tree sitting in the background, maybe neon lights style for the text and border," another has .
In other news, a GTA 6 sleuth thinks they've already located the official trailer.
]]>It probably won't come as too much of a surprise to hear that Red Dead Redemption fans want a remaster. There have been several hints over the years that one could be in development at Rockstar, with the latest being 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:a mysterious new rating in South Korea. However, nothing ha𒅌s been confirmed by Rockstar or parent company Take-Two just yet.
This hasn't stopped fans from being optimistic, though, as demonstrated over on Reddit. One user shares a quote from Take-Two's Q4 and Fiscal Year 2023 (via Twitter user ), which reveals the company has plans to "launch two new iterations of 🅺previously-released titles, and three independent titles" before the next fiscal year, so between now and March 2024. Fans have immediately assumed that this could be the Red Dead Redemption remaster and a GTA 4 remaster, but I wouldn't be so sure.
Firstly, it's important to remember that Rockstar isn't the only developer Take-Two has under its belt. Alongside the Red Dead Redemption and GTA studio, there's also 2K (best known for Borderlands), Zynga, and Private Division. So although Take-Two says it p🔯lans to re-release two new iterations of games it's previously released, that doesn't necessarily mean that they belong to Rockstar, unfortunately.
Not to rain on everyone's parade even more, but last year it was reported that Rockstar had canned GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption remasters - although it never even announced them in the first place. 📖It would be great to find out that the projects weren't scrapped ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚafter all and that the two games Take-Two is talking about are Red Dead Redemption and GTA 4 remasters, but for now, we should take this with a grain of salt and try not to get our hopes up too high.
One game we definitely know is on the way though is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6.
]]>Speaking on the podcast (via ), Zelnick said, 💜"In the entertainment business… we adopt our hits like they're part of us, they're part of our family, you know, we have a great affinity for them and we take it personally if people screw around with them, like it's not okay if the creators make a choice that is 🎐inconsistent with how we think these hits should be developed."
He went on to explain that this iꦗs the same "challenge" developer Rockstar faces when making a new entry in the GTA series. "It needs to be something you've never seen before on one hand, and it needs to reflect the feeling that we have about Grand Theft Auto, and that's a big challenge for the team," Zelnick said.
Given the monumental success and popularity of GTA 5, the weight of expectation has never been greater. A🍎ccording to Zelnick, rather than buckling under pressure, Rockstar is aiming for the stars. "Now, Rockstar's answer is just seek perfection, seek nothing short of perfection and we'll get there."
The Take-Two boss didn't go into any specific details about GTA 6, but a recent earnings report outlining expectations for the company's 2025 fiscal year - which begins in April 2024 - suggests 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GT🦩A 6 could launch as early as next year.
Our own Joe Donnelly recently asked a psychic leading questions about the GTA 6 release date, and it was wonderfully weird.
]]>Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar parent Take-Two, was repeatedly asked about the now 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:heavily implied 2024 launch window for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 on a recent CNBC news segment, and the resulting display of evasiveness would embarrass profes🐭🎉sional dodgeball players.
Zelnick appeared on 🌳the news channel's Squawk Box show to discuss the company's ambitious earnings predictions, which are so far above the norm – about $3 billion, to be exact – that the release of a massively anticipated game like GTA 6 is actually one of the most likely explanations. Co-anchor Becky Quick noted that the news has "got people speculating that you've got to ha🃏ve Grand Theft Auto 6 coming out."
"So we've said that we're working on the next iteration of Grand Theft Auto, but Rockstar hasn't announced a release date yet," Zelnick replied. "We've been working on this huge pipeline. We have 36 titles coming to market in [fiscal year ꧒2025 and 2026], and we obviously have high expectations.
"And you're right, we typically don't talk about future years. We typically give guidance and we try to go right down the middle, that's what we're supposed to do. In this instance, we wanted to give the industry the transparency it's been asking for. So we basically gave an outlook for this fiscal year and the subsequent too. We have high expectations fꦬor [FY2025], but we also expect sequential growth in [FY2026]."
Quick asserts that Zelnick and Take-Two are generally "prett𝔉y conservative" about their predictionꦦs – which makes this $3 billion spike even more of an outlier – and asks what makes Zelnick so sure of the prediction.
"We've be🍸en working on this pipeline for a long time," Zelnick answers. "We have a pretty good ability t𝓀o predict the performance of new iterations of existing franchises."
"Like Grand Theft Auto?" Quick cuts in.
Glossing over things with a chuckle, Zelnick continues: "Actually we have 14 franchises that have each sold over five million units in an individual release. Titles like Red Dead, Borderlands, BioShock, Civilization, and many others." Which is true; these franchises are big and successful in their own right, but even Red Dead Redemption ain't $3 billion above-annual-average big.
As ever, a 2024 launch for GTA 6 remains unconfirmed. The fiscal year Take-Two's mapping out technically stretches into the first quarter of 2025, for starters, and GTA has seen both fall and spring releases with its latest installments, so we can't rule out either period. GTA 6 also isn't the only explanation for the numbers Take-Two expects, even if it is looking 𒉰increasingly likely.
We asked a psychic leading questions about the GTA 6 release date, and boy was it weird.
]]>"In Fiscal 2025, we expect to enter this new era by launching several groundbreaking titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to ach🥂ieve over $8 billion in Net Bookings and over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Ope🍃rating Cash Flow," says Rockstar's parent company in its latest . "We expect to sustain this momentum by delivering additional growth in our operating results in Fiscal 2026 and beyond."
That's all a little finance-speak, but the most important parts of this specific statement are mention of "several groundbreaking titles", and, of course, $8 billion in net bookings. From what I understand, the fiscal year 2025 generally kicks off in April 2024 for UK firms, and October 2024 for US outfits, although there appears to be wiggle room on either side of the pond. Either way, it now seems we could see GTA 6 as early as next year.
Which, to be fair, was pretty much what my totally reliable psychic told me last month. Perhaps more relevant, though, is the fact that rumors of a 2024 GTA 6 release date have been circulating for some time. As noted in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 guide, a back in 2022 said "current and former Rockstar staff reckon GTA 6 is still at least two years away from release, suggesting a 2024 launch." This then who, in one its replies to the UK Competition and Markets Authority's investigation into its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ong💯oing acq💫uisition of Activision Blizzard, said: "The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be released﷽ in 2024."
Speaking to the latest earning's report, Take-Two's $8 billion in annual net bookings is a pretty big jump from the company's reported $5.35 billion in fiscal year 2023, and its rough prediction of $5.42 for fiscal year 2024. I couldn't be further from a financial analyst – seriously, any talk of money at this level sounds like Monopoly to me – but that jump of ~$3 billion makes more sense in the context of Take-Two and Rockstar's previous earnings reports. Sure, mention of "several" new games here sounds interesting at face-value, but it's worth noting Take-Two also owns the likes of 2K, and the recently-acquired Farmville dev Zynga. "Several" new games could apply to any of those, and the $3 billion jump could reflect further buyouts akin to 🦹t🔯he latter takeover.
To me, what's more interesting is how Take-Two's earnings projections changed in the wake of Red Dead Redemption 2's delay a few years back. Originally scheduled to launch in the second half of 2017, RDR2 was pushed to October 2018 – a move that saw the company's share and stock prices drop, and also, more importan𒆙tly, its projected earnings fall. , Take-Two's forecasted revenue for the financial year ending March 31, 2018 was initially $2.23 billion, but, post-delay, changed to $1.42 billion.
Again, not to get bogged down in the money side of it all, but that example, at this moment in time at least, double-underscores the idea that GTA 6 could be with us next year, or some point in 2025 at the latest. GTA 5 is still clearly raking it in for Take-Two and Rockstar – it was only 2018 when it passed 100 million unit sales; it's now edged its nose over 180 – but it really feels like the stage is now set for its successor proper, even if we're yet to get a trailer or proper reveal𓂃. October 2024, was what my psychic said. And, the way things are unfolding, she just might be right!

]]>As part of its Q3 2023 quarterly earnings presentation, Take-Two Interactive has revealed that the cowboy game has now sold 50 million copies in total, bringing the entire series to 70 million in sales. A more recent win has been Steam, with Red Dead Redemption 2 reportedly raಌnking as the top-selling game for the quarter and third for 2022.
"We were [...] pleased with the performance of Red Dead Red♏emption 2, which outpaced our expectations, driven by successful holiday promotions and events," Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick says.
As we previously reported, Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen consistent new concurrent 💫player peaks on Steam in the latter half of 2022. A big ol' sale was the reason for that initially, but then it just kept on happening.
A large part of its sustainability is the strong community that has formed around the game – heck, remember that one Red Dead Redemption 2 fan with nearly 6,000 hꦗours on Stadia? While that bodes well for the game's health, it's also a community that feels somewhat starved of content. Just this time last year, Red Dead On🔴liꦜne players launched a revival campaign hoping to catch Rockstar's eye, with one player going as far as to lay out a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:five-year plan.
The fact Red Dead Redemption 2 is doing bett🌠er than Take-Two would expect makes for pleasant reading, though it may offer little comfort to long-term fans unless it's actioned upon with a more vibrant update cadence with more meaningful content.
Here are some great 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like Red Dead Redemption 2 to storm the old west with.
]]>As spotted by the ever-watchful GTA sleuths over on Twitter, the rumored GTA 6 release window was mentioned in to the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation into its ongoing 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
In it, the console maker argues that Activision games don't make up a significant enough percentage of the market share to hurt competition, and it points to other major games and publishers, including Rockstar parent Take-Two Interactive, as a means of defense. In the process of saying practically anything to make Call of Duty look less valuable, Microsoft singles out GTA 6 as one of the big-wi🐻g games on the horizon.
"The high🎃ly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is 🍬expected to be released in 2024," a portion of Microsoft's response reads.
While that reads a lot like a confirmed GTA 6 release window, Microsoft actually cites a article on this point, which itself cites a report from .ꦚ That article claims "current and former Rockstar staff reckon GTA 6 is still at least two years away from release, suggesting a 2024 launch."
It's entirely possible that Microsoft, being the major platform owner it is, has inside knowledge as to Rockstar's plans for GTA 6, but it's also possible it's purely referring to publicly available rꦫeports and rumors when it says GTA 6 is expected to launch in 2024.
Neither Rockstar nor its parent company Take-Two have confirmed a release date or even a tar💛get year for GTA 6. However, the fact that Microsoft has shared these claims in an official report, without contesting th༒em, seems notable in and of itself, even if it is part of a smokescreen of big games meant to cover Call of Duty.
Rockstar recently cal𒊎led the massive GTA 6 leak from September "terribly disappointing" but assured fans it won't affect the game's development, which is good news for the mi🦄llions eagerly waiting for its release.
It's also good news for Rockstar and Take-Two, as after nine years, GTA 5 sales are finally starting to slow down.
]]>If you're not familiar with GTA RP, they're essentially modded servers that let players get into 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA Online in ways not officially supported by the game itself. You could run a store, be a cop, or watch the world b𒈔urn alongside 999 other players 𝔉while playing the guitar. These servers aꩵre wildly popular, ༒thanks in large part to their success among major streamers.
But Rockstar and parent company Take-Two have had an uneasy relationship with mods over the years, generating headlines after shutting do♒wn seemingly innocuous t𝓡ools like OpenIV. They issued a in 2017 essentially giving the okay to single-player mods (with numerous exceptions), but that's left the ಞtools used to make GTA RP happen in a bit of a gray area.
Now, Rockstar says in a new that it hopes rolep🔯lay servers "will continue to thrive ܫin a safe and friendly way for many years to come", and runs down some rules similar to the ones issued for single-player mods.
Essentially, RP servers cannot make use of unrelated IP - so no more playing as Supermaꦅn. That includes "other Rockstar IP," so don't expect to be playing as John Marston in an RP server, either. You also can't sell loot boxes or in-game currency, profit from corporate sponsorships, or integrate cryptocurrency.
That last point might be the most relevant, as we're seeing more and more GTA RP servers - including some of the most popular - profiting on sales of in-game cash and loot boxes. Those servers have largely gone unde♑r the radar, but we may soon see Rockstar start to take action against them now that the studio has laid out clear rules for what is and isn't allowed.
Rockstar also explicitly prohibits "making new games, stories, missions, or maps," just as it does in its rules on single-player mods. That more or less ꦐprohibits any sort of new content appearing in a mod, though given how that same rule has been applied for single-player mods, it's likely to be selectively enforced.
The statement's legalese concludes with ♋a reminder that Rockstar and Take-Two are not endorsing or approving any third-party projects, and they could change their mind at any time to take legal action against any given mod.
澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 is still a long way away, but it's already time to speculate on whether it will take any inspiration from RP servers.

It's been over decade since we saw the release of GTA 5, and the sense of anticipation for the next entry in the long-running series has only been reaching new heights the first 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 trailer dropped back in late 2023. With lots out in the wild about what's in store, read on below for a full recap of everything we know so far about GTA 6, from its characters to locations, and🍸 more.
GTA 6's release date is set to release on May 26, 2026.
Rockstar confirmed the release date in a post on , which pushes GTA 6's expected launch back from the previous Fall 2025 launch window - which was revealed in a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Take-Two financial report back in May, 2024.
In the release date announcement post, Rockstar Games states: "We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft♐ Auto has be♒en truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game."
Rumors of a potential delay had been circling for some time ahead of the above announcement, with lots of speculation doing the rounds since the vague 2025 window was revealed back in 2024. It was first sparked when Rockstar moved all 🔯of its employees back to full-time in-office work five days a week, which multipl⭕e of its developers have expressed concern about, particularly when it comes t💖o the potential effects on the sequel.
A 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:report via Kotaku also suggested GTA 6 may be pushed into 2026, and former Rockstar dev Obbe Vermeij had also said that GTA 6 will sell "10+ years" since there's 🅠"no competition", meaning that Rockstar is "not going to release the game until they're 100% happy". While confirmation of the delay does mean we'll have to wait longer to dive into Rockstar's open-world adventure, having a concreate date to look forward to rather than a vaguer launch window is a bit of a silver lining, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:a Take-Two boss saying anoꦜther delay is unlikely.

As dual protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval work together to find a new beginning in the city, we see Jason go to collect Lucia from prison, followed by several action shots of them both getting caught up in various hijinks. It's certainly giving off some Bonnie and Clyde vibes all over again.
澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 trailer 2's description also mentions that the "deck is stacked against them when an easy score goes wrong", which leads them to "the darkest side ofꦺ the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy" that's said to stretch "across the state". It sounds like we're about to get wrapped up some dangerous situations that'll force the pair to rely on each other.

So far, it has been confirmed that GTA 6 will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S when it arrives in 2026.
The news came by way of an official from Take Two, which states that: "GTA 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems". With the PS5 Pro now in play, we don't yet know if GTA 6 will be among the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PS5 Pro enhanced games.
According to a tech expert, however, it likely won't run at 60fps on the c༒onsole, even if it has "higher quality visuals". We'll have to wait and see.
As for whether GTA 6 will be coming to PC, it's looking unlikely at this point, but we'll keep an eye out🔯 for any news on this front.
As revealed in the official press release, GTA 6 is currently only sla🅰ted to arrive on the PS5 and Xbox Series X and won't b🉐e coming to PS4 or Xbox One when it launches in 2026 - making it a current-gen exclusive.
澳洲𒀰幸运5开奖号码历史查询:There's currently no mention of a PC launch, which might suggest it will follow a similar route to some of the previous GTA games that released on consoles first, before arriving on PC at a later date. Our best bet is that PC players will have to wait beyond the 2026 release da🔯te to play on their preferred platform... s﷽orry folks.
Our hopes for a quick PC release follow-up are basically shattered at this point, as according to a former developer, GTA 6 on PC will likely take a while, with PS5 tꦬaking priority as Rockstℱar focuses on "what sells".
That's corroborated by another former developer, who said the GTA 6 PC launch probably wo🌸n't come fo🍌r "a long time." We will keep you updated if any details cha🐈nge, but for now, PC players can play all the major GTA g👍ames on PC while they wait for the new title.

GTA 6 is taking ꧑us back to Vice City. While the original game was set in 1986, this new 2026 release is set to take place in what appears to be a modern day setting. Rockstar revealed we'll be heading to the state of Leonida which is "home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond". Set to be the "biggest, most immersive evolution of Grand Theft Auto yet", Vice City appears to be a part of a bigger map that will form GTA 6.
The first and second trailers have already given us glimpses of a Vice City made prettier than ever, with♑ a take on rural Florida that's every 🔜bit as chaotic as the real thing - with some familiar spots such as Starfish Island. Fans were quick to compare what was shown in the first trailer 𒐪to the locations from the original Vice City, which demonstrates how incredibly detailed the updated take on th𓆏e ꦦlocation is.
Following the drop of GTA 6 trailer 2, Rockstar also released 85 new GTA 6 screenshots which showcase ༒some of t♛he locations that will make up the new game's open-world setting. Wi🅘th post card-like images that confirm the names of some of the different areas alongside in-location screenshots.
We can get a better look at an updated Vice City; the touristy Leonida Keys; the wilderness-filled Mount Kalaga National Park; Port Gellhorn, which features cheap motels and strip clubs; the rural and industrial areas of Ambrosia that's home to a biker gang; and finally, the swampy landscapes of Grassrivers.

The first GTA 6 announcement came in February 2022, when Rockstar Games snuck out the news that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 is "well underway" as part of a broader GTA 5 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA Online Community Update. With word♛ that Grand Theft Auto 6 i🥀s in "active development", Rockstar said: "On behalf of our entire team, we thank you all for your support and cannot wait to step into the future with you!"
In August 2022, Rockstar's parent company Take-Two Interactive reaffirmed that GTA 6 development is "well underway" as part oꦐf the company's financial results𝔉 report. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick made some big promises for what GTA 6 will achieve: "With development of the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series well underway, the Rockstar Games team is determined to once again set creative benchmarks for the series, our industry, and for all entertainment, just🐠 as the label has done with every one of their frontline releases."
There hasn't been much official GTA 6 news besides the recently confirmed relღease date, which pushes it into 2026. But we have had some Rockstar employees teasing features and the trailer to unpack.
Of course, we have also ha💛d the massive leak—which you can read about below 🃏— and responses to that leak, but otherwise, the developer has been pretty quiet on the highly anticipated sequel.
There was an unprecedented GTA 6 leak on September 18, 2022, which saw dozens of videos and screenshots from an alleged in-development build of the game spread online. Are you wondering whether the GTA 6 leaks are real? Well, Rockstar has since i📖ssued a sta💞tement confirming the hack: "We recently suffered a network intrusion in 🌳which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the nexꦫt Grand Theft Auto."
"We are extremely disappointed to have any details of our nex𒅌t game shared with you all in this way," the Rockstar statement continues. "We will update everyone again soon and, of course, will properly introduce you to this next game when it's ready. We want to thank everyone for their ongoing support through this situation."
In the 48 hours since the GTA 6 leak first appeared, the GTA Forums have work🐻ed to scrub all remnants of the illegally obtained screenshots and videos to avoid being "obliter﷽ated by Rockstar". The dedicated GTA 6 reddit has also taken all offline, and has ꦏcommitted to staying online with one condition: "We will allow discussions related to the leak without attaching the leaks. We don't allow comments🧸 that has [sic] download links to the leak."
Since then, Rockstar and parent company Take-Two have spoken out about the leaks. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:In a recent earnings call, CEO of GTA publisher Take-Two Interac𒐪tive, Strauss Zelnick said that the leak was "terribly unfortunate", before adding that "we take those sor𒅌ts of incidents very seriously indeed".
"There's no eviden🎐ce that any material assets were taken, which is a good thing, and certainly, the leak won't have any influence on development or anything of the sort. But it is terribly disappointing and causes us to be ever more vigilant on matters relating to cybersecurity."
The latest update on all of this is that the teenager accused of massive GTA 6 leak has been deemed psychiatrically unfit for tria🦂l. Reuters reports that 18-yea🐻r-old Arion Kurtaj, a member of the Lapsus$ hacking group has been assessed by psychiatrists who have deemed him unfit to stand trial for himself.
Interestingly, there'🌳s one leaked GTA 6 screenshot that is the sole♌ survival of a Rockstar copyright "nuke". Seems like just a single🅷 frame has es💛caped the all-encompassing copyright claims Rockstar has waved across the internet.
The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 release date delay officially pushed it into 2026, with Rockstar confirming it will no 👍longer be releasing in the initial Fall 2025 launch wi♌ndow.
There had been speculation about a delay for some time. In the immediate aftermath of the GTA 6 leak, there was 🐓some concern over how the intrusion would impact ongoing development of the new Grand Theft Auto game. Rockstar has since that the hack would not affect GTA 6 production, or the ongoing security of GTA 5 and GTA Online.
But Rockstar citied needing more time to bring us the kind of experience we expect as the reasoning behind the release date move into 2026: "With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exceptio🌺n. We hope you understand that we need this extra time t♐o deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve."
While the final 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 map is yet to be shown, there are some indicators from the leaked video and scr𝓰eens that indica🌺te a play space that stretches beyond the confines of Vice City.
Much in the same way Rockstar expanded upon Los Santos between Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and GTA 5, a꧟ few of the leaked screenshots appear to show all-new areas of Vice City. As you may know, Vice City itself is loosely based on Miami, and there's now speculation that GTA 6 will push further south toward the Everglades (a wetland) and the Florida Keys (a string of tropical islands).
Now, the "Gator Keys" were referenced in the original GTA: Vice 🍃City as part of a radio broadcast, but the location was never shown in-game. If the screenshots suggest what we think they are, expect the GTA 6 map to contain a mixture of environment types.
Interestingly, fans are convinced that the GTA 6 map will be much larger than that of GTA 5. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Using leaked GTA 6 coordinates, the GTA 6 subreddit fans are trying to map out the map itself, and later started stitching GTA 6's map together us💜ing Google Earth and Paint. Another fan, YouTuber 𒁏Dark Space,𓂃 also modded their interpretation of the GTA 6 map into GTA 5 from what we♚'ve seen in the trailers so f🌺ar. Clever folks.
As Rockstar is yet to release an unvarnished GTA 6 gameplay trailer, it's difficult for us to say with certainty how this new game will play and how it will innovate on Grand Theft Auto 5. However, it's clear from the earl💫y development footage which leaked out that Rockstar is at least investigating and♛ playtesting some new mechanics.
For example, it appears that a new series of stealth mechanics is being introduced – with footage depicting characters crawꦦling while prone and even carrying bodies.
Additionally, the weapon wheel – which was overhauled for GTA 5 – is retu🍨rning in some capacity, and the leaked footage suggests that Rockstar is introducing new heꦯalth buff items such as painkillers. We can also see that the Five Star 'Wanted' system is returning, and that the VCPD have improved AI routines for tracking Jason and Lucia after you get on their radar.

]]>"We believe that this attacker (or attackers) are affiliated with a hacking group called Lapsus$, which has been increasingly active over the last year or so," Uber said in a recent . "This group typically uses similar techniques to target technology companies, and in 202꧃2 alone has breached Microsoft, Cisco, Samsung, Nvidia and Okta, among others.
"There are also reports over the weekend that this same actor breached video game maker Rockstar Games," it adds. "We are in close coordination with the FBI and US Department of Justice on this matter and will continue to supp🌟ort their efforts."
The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6 leak was partly the💮 result of a Slack breach, and the hacking methods Uber describes echo this approach. Uber reckons that the credentials of a contractor's account were compromised via malware, purchased online, and then used to access other accounts as well as tools like G-Suite and Slack.
澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Rockstar addressed the GTA 6 leak yesterday, confirming that an unauthorized third party had illegally accessed its network and downloaded the materials which were shared online. The studio maintains that "work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned," though the si🍰tuation will undoubtedly be a nightmare to deal with. In a separate statement, Rockstar parent Take-Two affirmed it had "taken steps to isolate and contain this incident."
The GTA 6 leak prompted an outpouring of support from high-profile game devs, from the makers of Cyberpunk 2077 to The Last of Us.

Right now, they're pretty easy to find across and all (although I don't suppose they'll be readily available online for long, let's face it).
It looks as though GTA 6 will be set in Vice City - w🅷hich backs up a prior rumor about the project - and feature dialogue options that should be familiar to those of you who've spent any time with Red Dead Redemption 2.
No official information on GTA 6 has yet been revealed, of course, although prior rumors hinted that it will be the firsಌt entry in the series 🦩with a female protagonist, with early plans had called for four playable protagonists and three explorable🤡 c𒆙ities, an idea tha𒀰t was scaled💖 back for a smaller scope.

]]>But that's the problem with games like GTA 5 - when a game gives lets you do anything, you can't help but want everyth🃏ing, plus a little more. And for awhile, it seemed like that was what💛 we were going to get.
A from December 2013 tells players to look forward to "substa🐼ntial additions" to the🦩 game's story mode. These additions were planned for 2014. In case you needed to check your watch and/or calendar, it's now 2016 and all's quiet on the single-player San Andreas front.
So the question is, where is it? It's been three years since GTA 5 first released on Xbox 360 and PS3, two years since it came to Xbox One and PS4, and one year siᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚnce its arrival on PC. In that time, what have we learned about GTA 5 single-player DLC?
Interestingly, most rumors have been spurred not thanks to anyone from Rockstar, but those who work with the studio. Shawn Fonteno, who plays Franklin in GTA 5, told in 2014 that, "We’re working on the DLC, downloadable content, for Grand Theft Auto 5, and that'💖s real big. That's like, first on my list right now, to finish that up."
Fonteno also posted a with headphones and what appeared to be a mo-cap suit on Instagram back in June 2015, and in a mo-cap suit, lounging in what look like Roꦍckstar's offices, in January of this year. Fonteno isn't credited with playing anyone else, so this has led fans to believe that when he says "DLC,ꦇ" Fonteno means of the single-player variety. Characters from the single-player portion have shown up in GTA Online, but this hasn't quashed the rumors among fans.
If Fonteno is indeed working on story DLC though, either his co-stars don't know abo🅺ut it and aren't involved, or they're better at keeping secrets. Ned Luke, who plays Miওchael De Santa, wrote on in January: "EVERYBODY wants single player DLC... I know NOTHING about that. Don't know when it's gonna happen or even IF it's gonna happen."
So what does Rockstar have to say? Surprisingly little. Straus Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive, said during an investor call prior to the game's 2013 release that fans could "safely assume" that there would be "a lot of interesting stuff." The assumption at the time was that this meant single-player DLC, a la The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony for GT✤A꧃ 4, would be coming to GTA 5.
However, Rockstar pretty muc🎐h confirmed that it had dropped development of story DLC when Director of Design at Rockstar North Imran Sarwar spoke to in September 2015. "Right now our focus is on GTA Online which has exceeded our expectations," Sarwar said. "We currently have all key members of the team that launched Grand Theft Auto 5 focused on supporting GTA Online in every capacity."
When Sarwar says that GTA Online exceeded expectations, he's not kidding. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:According to a lawsuit filed by former president of Rockstar North Leslie Benzies, GTA Online has raked in $500 million in revenue thanks to microtransactions. That's half a billion dollars from an online multiplayer mode of a $60 game that hওasn't 🗹even been out for three full years.
For comparison, free-to-play League of Legends, the most popular game in the world (and that's not hyperbole, it literally has more active players across the globe than any other single title), . By that point, the game had been out for four🌜 years. So yeah. GTA Online earning nearly as much over its relatively short lifetime as LoLꦯ did in one year is pretty staggering.
I can't say I blame Ro🌟ckstar for wanting to focus on where the money is rather than sink a ton of resources and time into single-player content. After all, it takes weeks upon months upon years for Rockstar to create its fantastic open worlds, but players will only buy such a piece of DLC once. And to Take-Two's then-CEO Ben Feder, the market for 2009♒'s The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony was "smaller than initially expected."
Meanwhile, a ne꧅w outfit or car for your GTA Online avatar takes considerably less work to produce, and you can buy as much GTA$ as your real-world wallet can handle. From a "you and me as players who want more story" perspective, it's not very encouraging. But from a business perspective, it makes ꧑sense.
Now, this isn't to say that GTA 5 single-player DLC will never happen. A screenshot showing Liberty City's Middle Park remade in GTA 5's engine popped up in an online portfolio belonging to a Rockstar artist just last week, and the company is at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:E3 2016 - something it typically doesn't have. It could be Rockstar is gearing up to announce the long-awaited extra cont🍌ent.
Or it could be something else entirely. Or it could all be a coincidence. The only thing we really know for certain in this scenario is that we don't know much. The progress of GTA 5's story DLC has been shrouded in mystery from day one. Before it, even. Andꦺ though we can look back and see its path traced over the years, odds are that mystery is going to continue for the foreseeable future.

“We do not take changes to our release schedule lightly, and this short delay will ensure that Max Payne 3 delivers the highest qual𝐆ity, groundbreaking entertainment experience that is expected from our Company,” said Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two in the .
The decision to move Max Payne 3 out of Take-Two's Q4 fiscal 2012 period means the company is now anticipating a net revenue loss of up to $230 million for the complete fiscal 2012 year. Reversely, Zelnick noted Max Payne 3's addition to its fiscal 2013 line-up will pay off big time down the road, explaining, “With Max Payne 3 now slated for May, our robust lineup of upcoming releases for fiscaꦏl 2013 is even stronger, including BioShock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Spec Ops: The Line, XCOM, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and other titles yet to be announced for release that year...We are well positioned to deliver growth and profitability over the long term.”
