<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> //344567.top 2025-06-09T09:49:30Z en <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> In the midst of Summer Game Fest 2025, yesterday's澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Xbox Games Showcase finally unveiled the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:long-rumored Persona 4 remake, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 4 Revival –🎃 a remake fans now think follows in the footsteps ꦿof Golden, the original JRPG's enhanced re-release.

Persona 4 first launched in 2008, but many modern-day fans might be more fam🐠iliar with the expanded edition that dropped four ye💖ars later: Persona 4 Golden. While it makes sense that some would immediately assume Persona 4 Revival would be a remake of the enhanced version of the JRPG, this actually has yet to be confirmed – and as Persona 3 Reload released as a remake of only its original counterpart (only adding the FES-exclusive epilogue as DLC, and leaving out Portable's female protagonist entirely), anything is possible.

Thankfully, however, the Persona 4 Revival trailer seemingly points to a remake of Golden and not the first 2008 release. As one Persona modder, known online as "MeovvCAT," discusses in a , the video from Atlus highlighted during the Xbox Games Showcase♉ "uses Time to Make History at the end." Why is that significant? "The song is exclusive to Golden" – the enhanced 2012 edition.

The Persona 4 Golden music isn't the only element from the re-release to make an appearance in the Revival trailer, either. MeovvCAT follows up their original post with another on something they noticed while watching: what appears to be a ꦡcovered-up scooter, which isn't present in the 2008 version of the JRPG. "The Persona 4 Revival Teaser also shows the Dojima Residence for a split second, and the Protagonist's Scooter can be seen in storage," they write.

"In the original game, there was a regular bike in its place," c💮oncludes MeovvCAT. "This is further evidence that Golden content and mechanics are included in P4R."

Coupled with the song from the trailer, this feels like pretty solid evidence that Persona 4 Revival is indeed a remake of Persona 4 Golden and not just Persona 4. There's no telling until Atlus reveals more, but regardless, I'd say the JRPG is one of the most exciting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games underway.

Persona 4 Revival is finally confirmed, but the JRPG's lead has me excited for the possibility of Persona 6: "We are actively preparing for the future development of the Persona series"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Today's澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Xbox Games Showcase lifted the veil on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:long-rumored Persona 4 remake, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 4 Revival – but it might not be the only JRPG that ܫAtlus' P-Studio has up its sleeve.

Following up on the upcoming remake's debut trailer, P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada talks about Persona 4 Revival in a new – a post that also discusses som🍨e of the team's future plans. First, however, Wada takes some time to dive further into the hotly anticipated details surrounding the freshly revealed remake.

"We are very pleased to announce the release of Persona 4 Revival," writes the lead.

"We look forward to sharing even more information in due time," he continues. "Persona 4 has spawned numerous spin-off works, i♎ncluding TV anime, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and is a special title that has been a part of Atlus for many years and holds a personal place in my heart. We are currently working on this project with all our passion and love."

Wada goes on, stating that P-Studio is certain Persona 4 Revival will appeal to both familiar fans and new players alike: "We are confident that this will be a fresh and surprising producꦬt for both newcomers and long-time fans, and we lo♐ok forward to sharing it with you all."

Then, the director adds a surprisin🅰g message – one that has Persona players (it's me, I'm Persona players) convinced ಞthat a sixth entry is underway.

"Additionally, we are actively preparing for the future deve൲lopment of the Persona series as a studio," concludes the lead. "We are working hard to mee🦂t the expectations of fans around the world, and our work is progressing well. Please stay tuned for more updates. We look forward to your continued support of the Persona series."

As one fan points out inܫ the replies, this last bit "reads like a soft Persona 6 anno🦩uncement."

There's no telling what Wada really means with his cryptic comment there, but we manifested Persona 4 Revival with how strongly we all believed in it (or so I tell myself) – so let's try to do the same with a potential 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 6 now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> A third Persona 4 actor has come out to say that they're not returning for a remake – which developer Atlus hasn't even announced yet, mind you – but some finer details are making fans think it's all an elaborate marketin🍃g stunt.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Rumors of a Persona 4 remake have been in the air, thick as fog, ever since Persona 3 Reload got the ball rolling. But things really kicked off this past week when Marvel's Spider-Man star Yuri Lowenthal said he would "not be returnin🦋g as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake" in a now-deleted social medi🌟a post. "I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don't want me to come back."

The English actor behind Chie Satonaka in Persona 4 Golden, Erin Fitzgerald, alsoཧ to say that she hadn't been asked to return for the remake, either, convincing everyone that the Persona 4 Remake (Rewind, Rejig, Rebirth?) is indeed a real game and not just something we've manifested in our shared realm of cognition.

Amanda Winn Lee, who voices Yukiko Amagi in the original game, is now the third actor to say the same darn thing. "Since, I'▨ve had several people ask me: No, I wasn't asked to voice Yukiko in the P4 remake," she recently.

But it's this latest statement that has and theorizing about whether the actors are, actually, coming back. You see, the three Persona 4 actors have said they're not returning to the game in the exact same order you recruit their characters in the game (Yosuke then Chie then Yukiko). And some fans have pointed out the fact that, like, how would they know that a remake exists if they haven't been asked to reprise their roles?

It may or may not be a coincidence that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 (the industry's trailer frenzy) kicks off just next week – for what it's worth, Persona 3 Reload was first properly announced at an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, so it's entirely possible Atlus pulls back the curtain in Microsoft's next ma🍌rke💖ting blitz set for June 8.

For now, the next party member you recruit in Persona 4 would be Kanji Tatsꦑumi, voiced by The Last of Us and Indiana Jones star Troy Baker in the original JRPG, although he was also voiced by Matthew Mercer in certain spin-off appearances. If either of the two also 🦋step out to deny being involved in the hush-hush unconfirmed remake, there might be some truth to these fan theories. Otherwise, don't get your hopes up too much for now.

See where Persona 4 lands in our ranking of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Persona games to play.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> A Persona 4 remake has long been rumored to be underway, especially after the success of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload launch last year – and with multipl⛄e actors from the original JRPG now seemingly confirming Atlus is indeed cooking one up, it feels more con⛄crete than ever.

Just yesterday, Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor behind Persona 4's Yosuke Hanamura, posted that he would🐼n't be returning for "the Persona 4 remake" – a statement that, unsurprisingly, convinced fans that said remake is actually in the works. Lowenthal explained that he had 🎶even requested the role from Atlus directly, possi꧟bly going as far as begging: "I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don't want me to come back."

The post from Lowenthal has since been deleted, but he's not the only Persona 4 actor with an out-of-the-blue apparent teaser th🌌at a remake is happening. Erin Fitzgerald, the English voice actor for character Chie Satonaka in Atlus' ꩵ2012 Golden re-release of the OG JRPG, writes in her own online that she won't be returning for a remake: "For those asking, I have not been asked to reprise my role as Chie Satonaka in the Persona 4 remake. RIP."

Fitzgerald concludes that she is "blessed to have recorded as many Persona 4 games as I did playing her,꧅" referencing her role in the fighting game sequels and rhythm spin-offs that came after Persona 4 Golden.

While the posts from both Lowenthal and Fitzgerald don't exactly "officially" confirm that a remake is coming from Atlus, they c𒁏ertainly do spark hope that it's potentially planned or in production – and they're not the only potential evidence, either.

Around two months ago, eagle-eyed Persona stans spotted what could serve as some of the most solid evidence of a remake to date – a newly registered domain. Much like "p3re.jp" was registered just months before Atlus announced Persona 3 Reload, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:a website domain for "p4re🥂" appeared but didn't yet go live (and still hasn't). Coupled with the two voice actors' more recent possible confirmations of a Persona 4 remake, it's all undeniably convincing, but we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Looking to dive into Atlus' beloved JRPG series? Here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Persona games to play.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Update: Shortly after this story was publish🎀ed, Yuri Lowenthal deleted his post referencing a Persona 4 Remake. We can't say for sure why it was taken down, but it's not unreasonable to speculate that somebody from Sega or Atlus reached out to say, hey bud, we haven't announced the Persona 4 Remake yet (even if it is the worst-kept secret in JRPGs right now).

Lowen💧thalꦬ did not sound uncertain, but for the time being, this is only speculation. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if this thing is finally announced in the coming glut of summer showcases.

Original story:

Death, taxes, and Persona 4. These are the three constants in life for anyone who was into this series before Persona 5 came out. Even though its sequel has now eclipsed it in popularity, Persona 4 was Atlus' golden boy for almost a decade. And since 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload released last year, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:rumors of a Persona 4 remake to follow it up have been all over the place. But even if there's no official word about it, we do know one thing: Yuri Lowenthal won't be retu🧸rning as Yosuke.

, Lowenthal says: "And for those who keep asking, no, I will not be returning as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake. I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they dᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚon't want me to come back."

Now, Persona 3's remake went with a complete recast, so this isn't too surprising but…𝄹 wait, did he just confirm a Persona 4 Remake is actually happening?

Naturally, fans are running with this post, with 🌳 saying "Bro was so mad about not returning, he confirmed the game’s existence out of spite." Meanwhile, "The fact that you confirmed the remake this way is kind of hilarious." While that he won't be returning as the character, saying "I'm gonna miss your Yosuke, it's too iconic."

Lowenthal has been voice acting for a long time in extremely high-profile projects, so it seems very strange that this would be an actual leak coming from him (even if 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Devil May Cry voice actors are).

It could just be the case of he's heard the rumors and reached out to Atlus and doesn't actually know if it's true or not, but the "they don’t wa🌜nt me to come back" part seems pretty definitive. Even if this isn't an actual leak and is just awkward wording from Lowenthal, the fanbase is definitely running with this as confirmation until the remake is announced no matter what. We'll just have to wait and see if an official announcement is on the cards later down the line.

Resident Evil 2 director Hideki Kamiya has no interest in returning to the series, but Dino Crisis on the other hand: "I'd love to give it a shot."

Everything from old-school Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger to Lost Odyssey and Atlusಞ JRPGs helped shape the team's debut game, but Expedition 33's director recently had glowing praise for one in particular.

Cl🐟air Obscur: Expedition 33 creative director Guillaume Broche gushed about Persona 5, the coming of age epic about high schooling by day and fighting demons at💎 night, in an interview with .

"I think Persona 5 is the best game in the world when it comes to battle depictions and UI design," Broche said, in quotes translated by . "I was greatly influenced by the dramatic camera c⛄hanges every time the player operates, and how it unfolds like watching a movie."

Persona's stylish camera moves were obviously implemented into the newest J-inspired RPG, and you can even trace it back to Lost Odyssey, too. Though Broche also said he'd like to take the feature even further in the future. Either way, Broche isn't alone in the praise. Persona 5 is one of the very 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best JRPGs ever made, according to us, at the very least.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> After a year of not being available in regions outside of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea, The Phantom X, Black Wings Game Studio's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 mobile spin-off, is finally getting ♋a global release – but not all fans are excited𝔍.

The new global release date announcement comes just days after entertainment conglomerate Sega Sammy's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:end-of-year financial results 🌜presentation revealed that The Phantom X is on its way to Japan this summer. According to Sega and Atlus, the Persona 5 spin-off is now set to drop worldwide this summer, too, on June 26, and it's going to be available to play on both mobile platforms✱, including iOS and Android devices, as w🔯ell as PC.

It's big news for the Persona🐷 community, as a solid year has now passed since The Phantom X first launc𒆙hed its open beta for mobile users in Chinese territories on April 12, 2024. As one fan exclaims on an online discussing the June 26 release date, "GOTY COMING OUT SOON." Another person comments that they're "so ready" for the game to be available globally – one can only get so far with fan-translated screenshots, after all.

from

Not everyone feels the same about The Phantom X getting its worldwide launch, however. Understandably🌠, many prospective players are concerned about the game's gachaඣ elements and its status as a free-to-play title. A thread highlighting the upcoming release sees some of these worries shared by longtime Persona fans, with one simply asking underneath the original post, "Is this F2P friendly?"

Various other responses echo that very sentiment, with somebody similarly questioning if "anyone can give me a verdict on how F2P friendly this game is?" Others are willing to try The Phantom X as its "story gets really good" before deciding: "I will play this and give it a chance, even though I'm not into gacha games and don't enjoy playing them." As a longtime Persona stan myself, I think I'll do the same and go from there.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona 5: The Phantom X, Black Wings Game Studio's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new Persona 5 mobile spin-off, isn't available in any regions outside of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea just yet – but it appears tha🍌t might cha😼nge soon as the game gets a release date in Japan.

The new release date was recently revealed by entertainment conglomerate Sega Sammy in its . List🌸ed as part of the company's planned "roll-out schedule," Persona 5: 𝓡The Phantom X is first mentioned in the fiscal reports as having been initially launched on April 12, 2024, in "China, South Korea, Traditional Chinese area" on both Android and iOS mobile devices.

As for its future, the presentation highlights that Persona 5: The Phantom X is set to release in Japan on both PC and Androi🔜d or iOS mobile platforms sometime "this summer." While a specific day isn't yet provided by Sega Sammy in its financial reports, it does confirm the circulating rumors that the mobile spin-off is indeed launching outsiওde of its current regions in 2025.

With Sega Sammy's newly unveiled summer release window, it's likely The Phantom X will be available in Japan sometime between June and the end of September. This also lines up with what the game's developers confirmed themselves in the past, that the JRPG spin-off was "to be released in Japan" with pre-registration open, as well as 🔯澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Phantom X playtest that appeared on 🐠Steam last year.

There's no telling🌃 whether or not the game will ever release overseas 🦹or perhaps even on other platforms, but its launch in Japan on PC is enough to leave Persona stans like myself hopeful that there's more to come of The Phantom X yet.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> A Persona 4 remake appears to be even more likely than ever as someone has claimed a website domain that's basically identical to the Japanese 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload site.

Spotted by Persona content creator Faz, the domain "p4re.jp" was registered earlier today – trying to access the w🔯ebsite doesn't currently do anything, but you can check its existence on the . Unfortunately, there's currently no way to confirm that it's actually Atlus behind this, as the registrant has chosen not to be displayed, although it's worth noting that it's the same with "p3re.jp," the official site for last year's Persona 3 remake.

As Faz points out, the aforementioned p3re.jp domain was first registered on March 15, 2023, ju♋st under three months before Persona 3 Reload was officially unveiled. If the p4re.jp si🍸te is the real deal, does that mean we could expect an actual remake announcement sooner rather than later?

The timing is certainly interesting, as only last month, Shihoko Hirata, a singer best known for her work on the P4 game soundtracks, teased that she was "recording for a new game," and liked a selection of Persona 4-themed replies on her Instagram post, to boot. While neither of these things is hard evidence that confirms without a shadow of a doubt that something is definitely happening, it does🐲 feel rather suspiciouꦐs at this point.

One thing is admittedly bothering me, though, and that's the fact that this new domain name would seemingly point more to a remake of the original Persona 4 rather than its expanded re-release, Golden. This would follow in the f🐽ootsteps of Persona 3's remake, which opted to leave out its Portable version's female protagonist and the extra content from its FES version (although the latter was later added as the Episode Aigis – The Answer DLC). It was a questionable decision, and one I've been hoping won't be repeated if Persona 4 gets a similar modern revamp.

I could very well be getting ahead of myself here, of course – there's a chance that a remake could drop the "Golden" label entirely while still including its additions. Beyond that, there's the more crucial point that, at this stage, nothing has actually been confirmed to be happening. Personally, though, I'd be very keen to return to Inaba again – here🍌's hoping Atlus has some good news for us soon.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Following the recent releases of successful titles, including 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, publishe🗹r Sega says it's turning its attention 💎back to teams like Atlus and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.

As , he company discusses its future plans in its , describing what's to come within the next fiscal year, running between April 2025 and March 2026. "The plan is currently being formulated," states Sega, "but we expect the volume of new titles in Full Game to be lower than this fiscal year." In this conte🔯xt, a "Full Game" is one that isn't free-to-play, meaning that Sega won't be releasing as many new titles.

Instead, the company is shifting its focus back to studios with proven IPs like Atlus, the Ryu Ga Gotoku developers, and the Sonic Team. "Atlus is an important studio for us to expand Japanese IPs overseas," says Sega, "and we think it is necessary to strengthen it, and the studios involved in the Sonic and Like a Dragon IPs൲ are also short of staff, and we are looking to reinforce personnel through additional hiring and M&A."

It's good news for us Persona fans – especially when the gaming industry is seemingly suffering from widespread layoffs, with a recent Game Developers Conference report confirming as much and finding that out of around 3,000 respondents, a shocking 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:one in 10 developers were laid off in the past year. Sega's look solid, thankfully, with nearly 20 million copies of new games like Metaphor: ReFantazio selling over this fiscal yꦦear's first few quarters.

Metaphor: ReFantazio, in particular, according to Sega, has sales that have been "steadily increasing" over time, with the company hoping to continue "raising awareness of the title in the future" so it can reach even more consumers. New games weren't the only significant sellers, though, with some older releases like Persona 5 Royal, Unicorn Overlord, and "past titles in the Sonic series" having "also contributed to repeat sales."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Could a Persona 4 remake finally be on the cards? If you'll excuse my pun, it certainly looks like there's a chance, because singer Shihoko Hirata – best known for her work on the P4 games – has confirmed she's "reco♔rding for a new game," promptly sending JRPG fans into a frenzy.

In a , the singer notes that "the piece is pretty tough, so I'm a bit nervous about getting it right. But I'll do my best!" 🍬As has been pointed out by Twitter account @rudiger__tw, the picture she's attached to her post appears to show MIT Studio, which according to , is where recordings for multiple other Persona soundtracks (including Persona 5, Persona 3 Reload, and Persona 4 Dancing All Night) have taken place.

Obviously, the studio isn't exclusively used to record music for Persona games, so this in itself isn't a confirmation of anything. However, in the replies to her post, Hirata has liked a number of comments featuring Persona 4 GIFs – could that be another hint? These aren't the only comments she's liked, however, and scrolling backꦫ through her older posts, she🅠's liked plenty of Persona-related replies in the past – even one from last May declaring "Persona 4 reload needed," so take that as you will.

Atlus hasn't confirmed if it's working on a shiny new version of Persona 4, but with Persona 3 now freshly remade, a lot of fans have been left wondering when the coming-of-age slash murder-mystery story might get a new lick of paint. Compared to the most recent Persona games, its visuals have become rather dated, even if its gameplay – for the most part – ♋holds u🍷p well. Its cheery slice-of-life vibes and delightful cast are still perfectly intact, of course, even if the character models have seen better days.

If the JRPG was to get a remake, the question remains whether it'd be for the original version or its re-release. Persona 3 Reload made the surprising decision to leave out the extra story content from Persona 3 FES (which was later added as the Episode Aigis DLC), as well as P3 Portable's female protagonist, which felt like quite a missed opportunity. Persona 4 Golden features extra story content, new Social Links, and areas to explore on a scooter – all stuff that'd be a huge shame to miss out on a remake. If it really is happening, here's hoping we get that exte🎃nded, souped-up version.

Persona 4 Golden ranks highly on our list of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Persona games for a reason – it's still one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best JRPGs out there.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> I've not dipped my toe into the Persona games, but many of my friends and colleagues love them. Acc🐓ording to Atlus developer Kazuhisa Wada, that's a key and very intentional part of how the company makes the series.

Wada recently spoke at the CEDEC+KYUSHU developer conference in Japan (reported by ꦛ with translation provided by ) about how the company's design philosophy has changed since making Person🐷a 3 in 2006.

Before 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3, Atlus' values were coined🐈 as "Only One," by Wada. It basically meant, "if they like it, they like it, if they don’t, they don’t." Rather than making games with broad appeal that don't do much of anything so as not to potentially put anyone off, the Persona series does what it does🌠 very well: stylish action, dungeon crawling, and deep relationship development. When I write it like that, I convince myself I should play.

In some of the games even elements like time and the weather can affect fights and the story itself. It all sounds cool, and I appreciate it from afar, but for some reason they've just never clicked with me. Based on the company's past values, that's just fine. The games have done well by cultivating a dedicated fanbase and appealing to them, not trying to win over people like me.🦄 Wada says this kind of policy is exactly why he joined Atlus in the first place.

Now, though, the values have changed slightly. The company still wants to make its games in an uncompromising way, but these days more players than ever are required to turn a profit. After Persona 3, the new policy became to make games that are "Unique & Universal," meaning t🧸hey're singular and interesting but also relatable.

Almost all the Persona games are set in and focus on high school, and mos🐲t people can relate to struggles they went through during those anxious teenage years. Atlus can still present its games in a unique way, but the themes resonate with a lot of people.

"To put it more succinctly, it’s like serving players deadly poison wrapped in a sweet coating," Wada explains. With its latest game, Metaphor: ReFantazio b༺eing nominated for many awards and even winning Best RPG at The Game Awards, it's a strategy that's paying off, even if 🥂I probably won't ever get around to playing myself.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona series, as ico꧋nic as it is, has always featured a protagonist with two undeniable qualities in each of its entries - but creative producer and chief direc𝐆tor of Atlus' renowned Persona team Kazuhisa Wada has a good reason why the main characters are always young and male.

As covered by , Wada reveals during the CEDEC + KYUSHU 2024 conference why every Persona lead is a high school boy - and the answer is quite simple. "Persona is a story about growing up," says the producer (translated via 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Google, DeepL). "Such a setting can be most effectively us😼ed with students on the verge of becoming adults." That's not the only reason behind Atlus&apo🅰s; decision to feature young men, however.

"Another big factor is that student life is something that most people have experienced, so it's easy to empathize with," continues Wada. "As for gender, this has to do with mental age. It seems that when it comes to the same high school students, wome🍌n tend to have a higher mental age than men." That's why the Persona team chose to opt for boys over girls, but it's not exactly a hard or permanent r♕ule for the developers.

"Therefore, we chose a male student as the protagonist, on the grounds that a man would be best if we were to depict growth," explains Wada. "However, we don't necessarily think that adults or women are unacceptable." Could that mean a future Persona title with a female lead, or possibly an older main character? 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio at least serves as proof that Atlus as a whole doesn't always go for high schoolers as protagonists.

Persona 3 Portable was unique, too, allowing players to choose between a male and female protagonist. While 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload later 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:excluded this option, the more recent revamped JRPG still saw the release of Episode Aigis - a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:game-sized DLC centered around a female member of the S.E.E.S. As a longtime fan of the Persona series, I 🐓hope we see more such content down the line - perhaps even in Persona 6.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Although 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona veteran Katsura Hashino directed 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio as a fantasy JRPG in the end,𒉰 the developers spent some time envisioning the game as something very different, once considering a sci-fi experience rather than a fantastical 🅰one.

Speaking to about Metaphor: ReFantazio in a pre-release interview, Hashino, along with artist Shigenori Soejima and composer Shoji Meguro, provides insight into the JRPG's development. When the team joined Hashino to work on Metaphor after wrapping up 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5, the devs "started wond🌟ering what to do next." At this point, "Hashino started saying he wanted to try his hand at something new."

That "something new" was still undecided. As the devs began to come together, they say they "went on exploring ideas." Some of these ideas were more sci-fi-aligned than the fantasy game we ha♋ve now would♌ lead you to believe, according to the Metaphor leads. "Besides fantasy," there were "talks about making a science-fiction universe." Ultimately, however, the team "started actual work upon deciding on the fantasy genre." The project was, after all, initially codenamed Project Re Fantasy.

By the time Meguro joined the crew, he says devs "were set for the fantasy genre," which led him toward "using an orchestra to create something richer" after years of pop-heavy soundtracks for Persona. "To be honest, I was really happ🌊y about i♚t," Meguro says.

As a fan of both Persona and now Metaphor myself, it's certainly an interesting possibility to ponder. I imagine that if ReFantazio had ended up being Sci-Fitazio instead, it would've been closer to Atlus' other banger JRPG series, Shin Megami Tensei, which♛ spawned Persona to begin with. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't personally pleased with how it turned out in the end, though.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona series has now reached over 23 million players worldwide and Yakuza almost 28 million - and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Sega says that this fast-growing success can be attri𒉰buted to a few key choices regarding games' releases.

According to Sega’s , both the Persona and Like a Dragon franchises are flying. The former series boasts 23.5 million copies sold while the latter has hit a whopping 27.7 million sales worldwide. These impressive figures include digital and physical sales, with the Persona 5 line of games and spin-off titles accounting for over 10 million copies sold alone - almost half of the series' lifetime sales.

The JRPGs' success, as Sega describes it, comes for a few reasons - with the first being the publisher's multi-platform approach to launches. It also comes down to simultaneous worldwide releases, with statements from one of last year's quarterly reports highlighting plans for future titles like Persona 6 to drop across multiple platforms globally on day one. Sega cites remasters and spin-offs as factors for sales growth, too, with recent examples like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload.

Earlier this year, the remaster of the beloved 2006 entry was released fo෴llowing t🎐he very standards Sega says are responsible for high sales - Persona 3 Reload launched across all systems worldwide at once on February 2. It certainly seems to be working for the company, and as a longtime fan of JRPG series like Persona and action-adventure gems such as Like a Dragon, I'm happy not to have to wait for any delayed global releases.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new Persona 5 mobile spin-off has landed on Steam in the𒐪 form of an early playtest, but only with a mysterious placeholder page so far - and when it does go up, it'll likely be🍃 locked to Japanese clients only for now.

Following the recent success of Atlus' monumental 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio release, fans are chomping at the bit for more of the developers' JRPGs - and while Persona 5: The Phantom X is a spin-off from Black Wings Game Studio, it features fan-favorite elements of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona series nonetheless with some gacha flair mixed in. It might not be Metaphor, but it's something - and interested J🍌apanese players can likely dive in soon.

Just last month, developers revealed in a that the game would no longer be exclusive to China, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, and Taiwan - it would beꦇ available to Japanese fans as well, on both Steam and mobile platforms. Sure enough, a mysterious Steam page has now appeared for a Phantom X playtest. The beta doesn't seem to be accessible just yet, however, as the listing looks like it&a🌜pos;s only a placeholder that redirects interested users.

There's no telling when the listing on will truly go live as of now, but fans are already taking to the "Discussions" tab with their thoughts. "What in the world is 🐲this," asks one such curious commenter. Another quotes lyrics from some of the Persona series' past games while dubbing the playtest "Peaksona." As a longtime fan of Atlus' JRPG gems myself, I'm just hopeful the spin-off will make its way overseas one day - but until then, I'll watch from afar.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Katsura Hashino, the legendary director behind both the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona series and more recent JRPG 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio, reveals that he's already made a start on his next project♕.

Speaking alongside 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama in a recent interview with , Hashino is asked whether he's thinking about what to make now that Metaphor's monumental release has passed. Surprisingly, the lead does indeed🅷 have something in mind - and likely has even since before his new JRPG's launch. "Oh, I have already started," he explains. He doesn't "really think about what to do as an individual," however.

Instead, Hashino looks to his studio and potential players while conceptualizing new games. "I look at Atlus as a whole and think about what is best for our team to create right now," describes the director. "Firstly I want the users to be happy, and as a result, I hope the comp🌊any will be happy as well." This thoughtful process is nothing novel for the P-Studio veteran. According to Hashino, "That is how I always work."

There's no telling just yet what this mysterious new project that Hashino has "already started" considering is, but it's not Persona 6. Shortly after the release of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5, the lead stepped down from his role at P-Studio to help establish Studio Zero - the Atlus team behind Metaphor. After hearing that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:splitting the team was "for the better" though, I'm personally certain that whatever is co♌ming will be big.

Speaking alongside 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama in a recent interview with (translated by ), the lead developer explains how detrimental criticism and social media can be to wellbeing - a fact I'm certain we can a💯ll relate to. Although the online world has made it easier for devs to learn what players think of their games, Katsura "tries not to be that conscious" of feedback. He doesn't avoid it altogether, however, "such as right after launch."

"It's not like I can⭕ adjust [the game] based on𝕴 what I see," describes Katsura. "When I need to look something up, I do it quickly in one go, because constantly looking at reactions isn't good for your mental health." When Toyama asks the Metaphor director whether he ever looks himself up, Katsura admits that he indeed doesn't - nor does he engage with social media at all: "I don't, and I don't use social media either."

Not only does the dev feel uncomfortable online, he also states that he doesn't feel comfortable while attending in-person promotional events for his games, either. However, fellow director Toyama, who's working on upcoming survival horror title 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Slitterhead, says that he prefers to more actively listen to fan feedback so as to take any comments on board if he finds t🍰hem useful.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> A new patch for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio has just dropped, and it tackles some 🦂rare softlocking bugs - but the update isn't available for PC players just yet.

Legendary 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona developer Studio Zero has been cooking up some Metaphor updates since the brand-new JRPG's recent release, with the latest dropping earlier today. Patch 1.03 doesn't br🅠ing many major changes to the game, but the small adjustments it does boast are significant as they address game-breaking bugs. As written in Atlus' , the first change aims to fix "some bugs that could, on rare occasions, prevent progression under certain conditions."

The notes don't go into further detail regarding the "certain conditions" that cause softlocking issues in-game, but as a p💫layer myself, it's a relief to see them resolved a൩nyway. Metaphor's second fix concerns connectivity, altering "the network connection processing when entering names." Neither change applies to PC players, however - as detailed by Atlus, 1.03 is out on PlayStation and Xbox but "Windows PC and Steam will follow at a later date."

There's no telling when it'll come to PC, but it shouldn't be to🔯o long. It sounds as though fans are coming up with their own solutions for the time being, though, with players on the patch notes pointing to community-created mods. Others responding speculate about future updates, with some asking for Steam Deck-related fixes and a "motion blur slider or toggle" - a change I could certainly personally get behind.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio's director has admitted that he's not really interested or excited by any games that "look like they were designed by a bunch of people in a CEO boardroom," which is perhaps to be expected from the mastermind b🧸ehind so many di🐎stinctive JRPGs.

Katsura Hashino has been at Atlus for around 30 years, and his latest director's credit on the fantasy JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio is one of many. He was previously at the helm for Persona 3, 4, and 5, the p✅uzzle game Catherine, and more. Speaking in a new , he's spoken a little more about what games motivate and inspire him to keep developing new things himself, and it sounds like he has a great deal of admiration for fellow creatives.

"I feel like if you have these super highly polished games that look like they were designed by a bunch of people in a CEO boardroom, that doesn't really excite me – it doesn't really interest me," Hashino explains. "But when I see these sorts of games [which reveal a little about the people that made them], it really fills me with the motivati⛦on to keep developing."

He adds that seeing artists and creatives "had something th𓂃ey really wanted to say" is ultimately "where I get all of my inspiration from," as well as "the drive to continue to be creative myself." While he doesn't give any specific examples of this, it's quite obvious just looking at Hashino's own work that he's constantly looking outside the box.

In a recent interview on the Xbox podcast, Hashino talks about how the team looked into "traditional fantasy culture," including The Lord of the Rings when they started working on Metaphor: ReFantazio, before they "threw out all of our ideas" since it "would lack the originality that defines us." This pursuit of originality is likely exactly what Hashin🐽o is referring to in this latest IGN interview, and it's fair to say that it's clearly work✱ed out for him with his works to date.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Long-time Persona director Katsura Hashino reckons working on the demon-hunting, high-schooling series is a little "easier" than creating a whole new world in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio, but the lat🐻ter allowed the developers to work on ideas that they just couldn't have before.

♎Speaking to the Official Xbox Podcast, Persona and Metaphor: ReFantazio's Hashino said "we really had ideas we wanted to put into this game that we couldn't put into other games." He used his popular supernatural high school series as an example, too.

"Persona 5 is set in the real world - Persona 5 specifically in Shiba and Tokyo," he noted. "That means the story we wanted to tell became slightly limited to the space we were within. It aꦇlso means it's a little bit easier for us to work with because we know the place, we have that sort of baseline to work from. But, once again, it does limit our options."

Hashino compared that to the "entirely new fantasy world that we created" in the most recent genre giant Metaphor: ReFantazio, which is currently breaking reco🔴rds for its developer Atlus. "We have the freedom to explore all these ideas and things that we weren't able to do in the past," he explained. "In the Persona series, the characters [and] the story itself were based around a single location, a single hideout, uꦉsually, where all the characters hang out." But Metaphor's country-spanning story a﷽nd much "larger" scale, on the other hand, gives players the "chance to see a broader perspective" from multiple tribes and cultures.

Metaphor: ReFantazio combines real-time and turn-based combat because its director wanted to embrace the idea of “manga and movie-style combat.”

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio marks the beginning of a brand-new title from Atlus' Studio Zero, but the upcoming JRPG still borrows plenty from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona - including its unique calendar system.

With just a few days to go before the monumental Metaphor release, 🍌the mastermind directꦦor behind Atlus' beloved Persona and Shin Megami series reveals in an interview with how the calendar system has evolved - and why fans shouldn't worry too much about time being restrictive. "You're going on a journey in Metaphor, so each area has different activities," Katsura Hashino explains.

"You could be milking an animal in one place or bungee jumping in another. There's a wide variety of things to do." Engaging in such activities isn't limited to any one destination, either. Players can pass the time doing basic real-world tasks in-game that🎀 add to its immersion, lik🌠e reading a book or taking care of laundry. There's also no need for fans to worry about missing out on anything at all, according to Hashino.

"We didn't want players to feel limited by time," states the director. "You'll be able to return later to places you've visited using a fast travel system, so you can do everything you want without feeling rushed." As someone who chronically worries about missing out on important moments in games, I'm relieved - especially as the lead previously described how 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the new JRPG "offers a lot more freedom" than the studio's predecessors.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona 3 Reload's final DLC is here, with Episode Aigis bringing players back for another trip to Tatsumi Port Island – only this time, w🍎e're controlling the eponymous android Aigis instead of the stylish remake's silent protagonist. Set after the events of the main game – which I won't spoil here – this expansion offers new ornate dungeons to explore, challenging bosses, and extra insight into its cast. Sadly, the new offerings feel less like they should be part of their own 🦩separate entity, and more like an epilogue that’s stretched out over too many battles.

In a year full to bursting point with huge RPGs like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Atlus🔴’ remake of the PS2’s original Persona 3 holds its own against these heavyweights thanks to its heartfeওlt story, captivating characters and thrilling turn-based combat. However, it’s not without its flaws.

Faithful to a fault

S.E.E.S. Advantage - Persona 3 Reload combat

For the uninitiated, Persona 3 already had the rework treatment on two occasions. There’s Persona 3 FES, an expanded edit🐲ion released on the same console. Years later we got Persona 3 Portable, which embraces visual novel elements that strip it back in a sense, but the inclusion of a female protagonist as an alternate option to the traditional male lead added a new dimension to the experience (along with some banging new soundtrack additions).

So when Atlus announced Persona 3 Reload back in 🌳2023, fans were eager to know which iteration the remake would most closely resemble. When it was revealed the game would be faithful to the initial version, it was hard to hide the disappointment. I mean, why not include content from the later versions?

That’s not 𝔍to say Reload doesn’t add new things. The visuals have been🌄 overhauled, the voice actors replaced and the soundtrack rerecorded, so it is very much a remake. There’s also new combat elements, like the theurgy attacks (basically super moves), and you control all characters whereas your supporting party members kind of did their own thing back in the OG title. So, why stop there?

Reload adds these quality of life changes, but doesn’t include the other main characte🅷r. In fact it takes a bit of a step backwards in a sense, with some social elements limited. For instance, you used to be able to choose between swim, kendo or track c𒀰lubs. In the remake, you can only join the latter. This may seem like nit-picking, but such cutting of corners adds context to the decision to take ‘The Answer’, the epilogue of Persona 3 FES, and remake it as the paid Episode Aigis DLC.

Atlus has a history of releasing extended editions of games and charging the same amount as for a full new release. As well as the Persona 3 entries, Persona 4 was followed by Persona 4 Golden, while Persona 5 gave way to Persona 5 Royal. Even Shin Megami Tensei 5 has been outdone by this year’s release of Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. All of these later versioಞns add something new to make fans like me invest time, money, and so on. However, with Persona 3 Reload the content seems less worth the cost of admission, and this is even more obvious with Epis🍬ode Aigis.

Into the Abyss

Close up of Metis from Persona 3 Reload

Being a huge fan of the robotic warrior, it’s great to see Aigis back in the starring role. The p🅠roblem is that this expansion is essentially just battles. Set in the Abyss of Time, which feels all but identical to Tartarus from the base game, Aigis and her teammates spend almost all of the game battling shadows, the basic enemy type of the Persona games.

While this is ✱a core feature of base Persona 3 Reload, as well as the majority of other mainline titles in the franchise, it’s balanced out by plenty of social and life sim sections. You can hang out with friends, go on dates, get coffee, sing karaoke, play a UFO catcher, work part-time jobs, study (nerd), and more. In Episode Aigis, not so much.

Aigis is restricted to the students’ dorm and the aforementioned dungeon, and later on a lesser version of Paulownia Mall, where the cafe, karaoke bar and other such loc🍸ations are out of reach. Luckily, you can find items in the dungeon that unlock social situations with your friends, but mosꦦt of the dialogue lacks voice acting, making them less immersive.

This lack of content – outside of the near endless battling, including a new, optional boss who aged me more than my first encounter with the Reaper – makes Episode Aigis feel like a relatively weak expansion, even if you enjoy the turn-based combat as much as I do. It also brings into focus how little the base game offers compared to 2020’s༒ Persona 5 Royal.

Metis from Persona 3 Reload hitting a weak spot

Sure you could say this is acceptable given it's a remake of a game which originally had less to do by modern standards due to being older, but when we’re having some features reworked,꧋ why not expand them? Why not add more sports clubs instead of taking them away? Why not add more socialising options for the late game? Why not give Aigis more to do than f🎀ight?

Persona 3 Reload is an excellent game, but ܫit could’ve been so much more. Episode Aigis is a very 🀅good DLC, but it’s not one I’ll play again soon, if at all. Atlus was so focused on being faithful, supposedly, that the developer forgot to make something truly incredible as we’ve come to expect.

This means that compared to the other incredible RPGs that 2024 has delivered, Persona 3 Reload loses its footing in the final third by holding back too much. Still, it’s a strong title with a lot to love about it. As for Episode Aigis, it falls short of adding enough to stand out as a top-tier expansion, and doesn’t do enough to substantially elevate the base game experiཧence.

It took 86 hours for me to realize that I love Persona 3 Reload (and probably JRPGs in general)

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> As Atlus cracks on with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor: ReFantazio to ensure its smooth release this fall, some are wondering what the new JRPG means for the future of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona series - and thankfully, i𝓡t seems that it's not comprᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚomised at all.

Speaking in an interview with , Persona producer and P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada explains why work on Metaphor is beneficial to Atlus' already established series. When the P-Studio team split to allow for the production of both Metaphor and Persona, questions arose among fans regarding the future - would 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 6 come to fruition one day despite a few of the longtime developers mo🅷ving⭕ on to a new project?

Wada says yes - or at least that Persona is fine, if not better than before. "Many years ago, one of the issues we wanted to resolve as a company was to improve the development capacity of the organization. Fortunately, as of today, very talented young and mid-career people are steadily growing through projects like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 Royal, so if we are asked about the impact on ꧙the future from here on, the answer can only be 'for the better.'"

The producer continues, further detailing his thoughts on the future: "We game developers, myself included, have a number of issues that need to be resℱolved in response to the lengthy and expanded game development process. I believe that one of the most important things to do is to pass on the spirit of the game to the next generation. One of the most important things is to build an organization that allows that transition to happen naturally."

If anything, the Persona series has actually grown, improving over time. As Wada states, internal reform has helped P-Studio. "In order to develop and maintain a sustainable, high-quality series of titles, I believe that the methodologies of organizational reform and generational change at that time w😼ere unavoidable and highly necessary." Atlus can "point to the growth o🔴f the Persona series," which is "the best proof we have that we are on the right track."

He urges fans to stay positive about the future and to have "greater expectations" for both the Metaphor devs and those still working on Persona: "We would be very happy and encourꩲaged if you all have even greater expectations of both us and the games we produce in the future, so please keep up the good work." It sounds to me like Persona 6, when it happens eventually, will exceed its predecessors - and I can't wait to play it and ♛Metaphor both.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Most of Atlus' 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona series has received a remake of sorts, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload being the most recent - except for ಌthe first two games, although that could change one day.

Speaking in an interview with , long-time Persona producer and P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada reveals that remakes of the JRPG series' original two entries aren't underway right now - but that doesn't mean that they won't ever be. As work on Persona 3 Reload wraps up with the arrival of its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:game-sized epilogue DLC, Episode Aigis, Wada explains that Persona 1 and♕ 2 remakes have been on his mind despite there being no offic💞ial plans for them yet.

"It is not on my schedule right now," says the𒅌 produce♓r. "I would like to do it someday." It's enough to fill me with hope - after all, the Persona 3 remake came almost two decades after its original 2006 release in Japan. That lengthy period between an original and its modern iteration is a large reason why nailing a remake is so challenging. With Persona 3, "the most difficult task was to create a production structure and get the project drafted and approved."

After almost 20 years, Wada says developers "had to find the best way to convey the essence of the content, which was divisive at the time, and how to tune it for the better." Portraying characters that hadn&ওapos;t appeared for so long and "the game's themes in an appealing wa🍨y" was understandably deserving of a more involved process. The same would likely apply to any Persona 1 or 2 remakes - which could be why they aren't in the works yet.

Persona's remakes and improved re-releases, from Persona 3 Reload to Persona 5 Royal, are more than successful enough to warrant Atlus' return to the series' darker origins. They also introduce new fans to games that they never would've otherwise played - I grew to love P🔥ersona thanks to Persona 4 Golden myself, and have played every entry aside from 1 and 2 since. If Wada gets his "someday," though, that could very well change.

While you wait for more remakes from Atlus, check out the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best JRPGs to try now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024 is here, bringing some of the biggest news this year regarding games to come - and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload made a banger appearance with a teaser for its upcoming DLC, Ep💃isꦦode Aigis.

The final of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload DLC packs, Episode Aigis, is coming soon - and it's bringing a surprise throwback along when it drops this fall, September 10. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 protagonist Joker is making a grand return to ꦬthe series in the epilogue expansion, albeit this time as a boss rather than a playable character. That's right - the S.E.E.S team will get to face off against one of the previous greats himself.

Episode Aigis' new teaser shows Joker making a stunning appearওance before the Persona 3 Reload epilogue's crew - an epic entrance if I do say so myself. 🐭Exciting doesn't quite cut it - I look forward to seeing how this one-off battle with the Persona 5 figure fits in between the 30 or so hours of story content coming with Episode Aigis. I'm also intrigued to learn just how difficult the fight is.

If you're similarly interested in snagging the epilogue as soon as it drops, you can grab the Expansion Pass for $34.99 to gain access to all of the꧅ Persona 3 Reload DLC. For reference, th🍰at includes special soundtracks from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, as well as Velvet Room-themed costumes - on top of the game-sized Episode Aigis DLC itself.

Take a look at our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games 2024 guide for more to look forward to.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona's series producer has once again apologized over Persona 3 Reload not featuring Portable's female protagonist, and🐈 has reiterated that it's "likely never" going to happen.

Poor old Kazuhisa Wada - he just can't stop apologizing. In the months following Persona 3 Reload's release earlier this year, the Persona ღseries producer was repeatedly asked about the possibility of the remake featuring Portable&apos𓃲;s female protagonist, Kotone, at some point further down the line.

Wada said in the first interview in March that adding Kotone to Reload would've simply been too 🔯e💫xpensive, and then 澳洲幸ꦚ运5开奖号码历史查询:apologized for Kotone being excluded from Reload in another interview later thatꩵ same month. In the latter of the two interviews, Wada explained that adding Kotone would've likely cost "two to three times that of Episode Aigis," the epilogue expansion releasing ⭕in September.

Now in August, Wada is once again apologizing for the situation. In Game Informer issue 368 (which is no longer available online because ), Wada explains that "bac🐓k when we were planning The Answer, we had considered the fema🏅le protagonist, but the more we discussed it, the more unlikely it became.

"The development time and costs would have not b💫een manageable, and due to the nature of the content, it's difficult to entrust this externally. Eve☂n if we were able to move forward, the actual release would end up being far into the future," Wada says, then apologizing again to all the Persona and Atlus fans who have "supported us for so long."

This line of t꧅hinking is what allowed Atlus to make Episode Aigis - The Answer, Wada says. "Persona 3 Reload has just released, and there is currently a lot of player interest, so if we are to do an additional release, it has to be now. But since it is not possible for us to release P3R with the female protagonist in this window, we just can't do it," the producer says.

How did Persona 5, Persona 3, and now Metaphor: ReFantazio achieve some of the best UI in JRPG history? Its veteran Atlus director stresses "unity" and support for dev teams.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> SunnySide is the newest genre-blending melting pot that boils farming, crafting, dungeon-crawling, cooking, creature-battling, and romance into o๊ne game package, but it took heavy inspiration from Persona 4.

Looking at SunnySide's page, it almost seems like one of those games that promises to throw everything and the kitchen sink into the code, only to nꦡever leave the theoretical space of Kickstarter. Think Persona meets Harvest Moon meets Lake meets The Sims' interior designing, and you've just about scratched all the systems on offer. But despite its lofty goals, the game eventually came to last month, with a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release planned for the future.

Speaking to , creator of the game's concept, Siavash Shahlaei, AKA Rainy, explained that "the original idea for SunnySide came from trying to achieve the atmosphere from a game that inspired me as a kid." That game was Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland, which was the first time Shahlaei "just stopped and appreciated the scenery and ambient sounds" in a game. When Shahlaei later played Perso🎀na 4, "that exact feeling came back, and with SunnySide, I really wanted to capture the same small Japanese town vibe that Persona 4 gave me."

Atlus' JRPG series about high schoolers turned demon-slayers didn't just inspire the game's overall 🌳atmosphere, though, Persona 4 also happened to inspire SunnySIde's approach to social sy🅠stems. "I looked to [Fruits Basket] and Persona for guidance on how to build interesting characters and how to develop them in unpredictable ways," studio co-president and narrative director Sydney Stockdale explained.

"Persona was certainly the biggest inspiration for [romance]. We were really inspired by🌳 how players can grow so emotionally attached to character just by listening 🥂to them tell their own stories, so this is what inspired the way that you learn SunnySide's story."

I꧟f the wait for an inevitable Persona 6 is slightly too long for you, then here's your chance to romance (or just befriend) even more colorf♈ul characters in much the same way.

For now, check out everything we know about Atlus’ next game Metaphor ReFantazio.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Our annual batch of scorching hot deals is back in the form of the Steam Summer Sale, which offers boatloads of big discounts on quite literally thousands of games. The Witcher and Dragon Age trilogies are both cheaper than a Tesco meal deal, but if we turn our gaze to some similarly great JRPGs instead, we'll find just as jui𝓰cy savings.

of the 50 best-rated Japanese roleplaying games, based on user reviews, are basically all discounted, including multiple Final Fantasies, Like A Dragons, and Personas. The only games in the list that aren't on sale are Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance, which just came out, Final Fantasy 14 (an MMORPG as opposed to a straight up JRPG), and Felvidek (more a Japanese-inspired RPG with turn-based combat), so I'm not really counting them anyway. You'll see green savi🎀ngs tags running all the way down the list regardless.

Some especially good deals come from the original, unremade 1997 Final Fantasy 7 at $4.79, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:side-scrolling sleeper hit Astlibra Revision $19.99, leather pant-making sim Monster Hunter Rise at $10, zany crime epic Yakuza: Like A Dragon with a 80% off discount cutting the price down to $11.99, and all-time, any-genre great Chrono Trigger, which is a✨n absolute steal at $7.50.

The entire top three are also discounted, and also come from the same 'high-schooler beat/befrie🌼nds demon' series Persona. Steam's best-rated JRPG Persona 4 Golden is 40% off; jazzy teenage rebellion Persona 5 Royal is 50% off, and this year's remade Persona 3 Reload ha♊s a 30% off sale.

Multiple entries in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best JRPGs list are also discounted, so check out some good recommendations while you’re at it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Metaphor: ReFantazio isn't the only JRPG receiving exciting news from Atlus this week it seems - 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload's biggest and final expansion now has an 𝓀official release date.

The final of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Reload DLC packs, Episode Aigis, is coming soon,☂ with Atlus now r﷽evealing that it's launching on September 10. The expansion is nothing to scoff at either, as it contains 30 or so hours of story content to play through. Fans familiar with Persona 3 FES, Atlus' extended 2008 release of the JRPG, may remember that Episode Aigis (also known as "The Answer") functions as an epilogue that follows the base game's ending. In it, players journey through the Abyss of Time as Aigis.

Atlus' new trailer doesn't just unveil Episode Aigis' release date - it also shows a bit of the expansion in action, including combat between shadows and the S.E.E.S team, the exciting return of Metis, and the DLC's "gorgeous" revamped visuals. The legendary developer says to expect "quality-of-life gameplay improvements" alongside the September 10 launch, too. Sadly, though, Persona 3 Portable's female protagonist isn't cꦅoming to Reload w♈ith the DLC (or ever, unfortunately).

If you're interested in snagging the epilogue as soon as it drops, you can grab the Expansion Pass for $34.99 to gain access to all of the Persona 3 Reload DLC. For reference, that includes special soundtracks from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, as well as Velvet Room-themed costumes - on top of the game-sized Episode Aigis DLC that's coming this fall. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> The new Persona 5 mobile spin-off has se⛦emingly ditched the beloved Sojiro from his cafe.

Earlier this month, Atlus and Sega unveiled 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5: The Phantom X, a new mobile spin-off exclusi𝔍ve for Chinese smartphone users. A select few users elsewhere in the world have found their way into the game's limited beta though, and it's thanks to this we now know the new game actually trades out Sojiro from his usual digs in Cafe Leblanc.

from

Other Persona mainstays like the actual Phantom Thieves themselves return in The Phantom X, which makes Sojiro's exclusion particularly confusing. What's even more head-scratching is that the new mobil♔e spin-off purposefully keeps in Cafe Leblanc, but removes Sojiro from the coffee shop, for some unknown reason.

"It's extremely hard to see a world in which Sojiro is not the one working and owning LeBlanc, unless Sojiro just neꦍver existed at all," writes one Reddit user. This user is alluding to an ongoing theory that The Phantom X is actually set in an alternate reality to that of Persona 5, which could be why Sojiro is now mysteriously miss𓂃ing.

After all, this wouldn't be the first time Persona 5 has played around with alternate realities. Not to spoil anything dramatically, bu✅t Persona 5 Royal i𒁏ntroduced the setting of an alternate reality for the Phantom Thieves to deal with, which proved to be a really compelling point for the re-release.

It's going to be really hard to uncover how or why Sojiro is gone in The Phantom X. The game is only in beta in native Chinese right now, and doesn't have a worldwide launch schedu🍒led at all. Here's hoping someone out there can decipher what the deal is with Sojiro when The Phantom X eventually launches in full.

Check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games 2023 guide for a list of games that will probably be out in full before The Phantom X.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona's developer is workin🍒g on ways to bring the series to a "wider audienc🙈e."

That's according to Persona series creative director and producer Kazuhisa Wada,🌄 speaking in a new interview with (and translated by ). "We are working on various ways to bring the Persona series to a wider audience," Wada says when asked what the future holds for the franchise. "I can't say any specifics at this time, but please look forward to it."

For those keeping track of the goings on around Atlus, you might remember the studio previously committed to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:revealing "several" new projects this yeaꩵr. One of these, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 spin-off The Phantom X, was revealeꦓd just earlier today, but there are still plenty more projects in the pipeline at Atlus.

Whatever these remaining unannounced projects are, they could be focused on bringing the series to the "wider 🧸audience" that Wada mentions.🎀 Considering Persona 3, 4, and 5 were just made available on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms for the first time over the last six months or so, it's a slight struggle to figure out where this "wider audience" actually is.

Additionally, don't expect any new genre games for the Persona franchise. Wada mentions that the studio has "already done" all the new Persona genre games he wantꦫed, like rhythm games in Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and pure action titles via Persona 5 Strikers. However, the series lead highlights the action genre as "quite popular worldwide," which Atlus might return to later.

Then again, it was revealed last year that Persona 5 could be gett🌊ing a live-actio🌱n adaptation, so perhaps that's our answer for thꦗe new audience Atlus wants.

Considering Persona 5 makes up almost half of the series' lifetime sales, it's fair to say the Atlus series has never been more popular.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> A brand new Persona 5-related spin-off game is on the way, but it&apꦰos;s only launching in China for smartphone users.

As spotted by , Atlus and Sega h🦂ave announced Persona 5: The Phantom X, a new collaboration with developer Perfect World. This is a brand new game exclusively for phones, and right now at least, it's only slated to launch in China.

The original Persona 5 cast will feature in The Phantom X, but there's also a brand new cast of characters making their debut. The protagonist, who goes by the codename Wonder, is in their second year of Kiba Academy when they're awakened to𝔍 their Persona, not u🅘nlike mainline protagonist Ren.

They team up with Cattle, a weird owl-like creature, fellow Kiba Academy student Arai Suwa, and a new Velvet Room assistant called Merope. Persona character designer Shigenori Soejima has returned to lead the development of this new cast of characters, so the designs will be a familiar and welcome siꩵght to Persona veterans.

The Phantom X looks to have all the mainstays of Persona 5. There's exploℱration of Tokyo areas like Shibuya, turn-based combat, the uncovering of sinister Palaces, evil adults in the real world that need to be purged of their ev🎃il desires, and downtime with your friends with activities like fishing and eating.

Honestly, The Phantom X looks really intriguing, which makes its limited Chinese release all the more painful. This is going to be one tough pill to swallow for Persona fans at large if the g♕ame doesn't make its way to the West. For now, we'll have to keep hoping Atlus and Sega see enough overseas demand to release The Phantom X elsewhere.

It looks like this is the first of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"several" planned Atlus reveals for this year - fans are surely hoping Persona 6 is somewhere on the cards.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona 4 Golden reportedly runs better on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Series X than the PS5, capable of hittin🧔g 120Hz🅺 on Microsoft's platform.

That's according to test con🎃ducted by earlier this week. According to the outlet, the new version of Persona 4🐬 Golden can achieve a supreme 120Hz when played on the Xbox Series X, but is restricted to 60FPS when played on the PS5 console.

However, there's a good reason for this. As we reported last year, Persona 4 Golden (along with Persona 3 Portable) 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:are available﷽ as true new-gen verꦰsions on Xbox Series X/S, but are restricted to merely being PS4 games with ๊a PS5 port for PlayStation players.

There's never been any clarification from develope🐟r Atlus on why exactly this is, but it means only Xbox players are experiencing a true new-gen version of Persona 4 Golden with all the bells and whistles you'd expect. PS5 players are actually merely playing a PS4 port of ⛎the same game.

Further mystifying the matter is the fact that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 Royal received a native PS🦩5 p🗹ort, but Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable have been left behind as PS4 games. Atlus clearly hꦕasn't given the same development priority to all versions of the tw✨o remastered games, and we're not sure why.

Elsewhere for the Atlus franchise, a full 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 remake is 🎐rumored to be annou൲nced later this year🅷 in 2023, despite the fact that Persona 3 Portable is only just re-releasing on modern platforms tomorrow.

Additionally, when the re-releases launch tomorrow, Atlus is cooling off on spoiler restrictions for screenshots with the two games, after Persona 5 fans were left unhappy at being unable to take screenshots for the vast majority of the game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> 🐽Unlike Persona 5 Royal, you'll be able to stream and capture Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden story content without developer Atlus sniping you over specific spoilers.

That comes from Atlus's recently published streami🥀ng and media distribution guidelines (thanks, ), where the developer expla🎀ins that you're free to stream or create video content around whatever parts of the game you fancy. That said, Atlus does request you do people the courtesy of including a spoiler tag to avoid ruining the story for someone.

If you've been out of the loop, Atlus initially not to stream Persona 5 Royal past the in-game date of December 24, which is around the point the JRPG reach♐es the third act. The reason was to aid "as many players as possible" in avoiding spoilers.

As you can imagine, the move was not a popular one. The fan backlash may have pushed Atlus into being more lenient this time, though it could also be that Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden are both over ten years old. Naturally, there may be oodles of people who haven't played it, but at some point you have to expect tha❀t the spoilers are out there.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> A Persona 3 remake is reportedly still in development and 💦will be announced this year.

Back in September 2022, user lolilolailo claimed two details: a Persona 3 Portable re-release was in the works, and a Persona 3 remake project was also in develop💜ment at Atlus. The studio would later announce Persona 3 Portable remastered for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms, proving the first part of that claim to be accurate.

As such, the claim of a Persona 3 remake project is lent a certain credence. Back in the original claim, lolilolailo claimed that the remake is "like Persona 5, both graphically and QoL stuff related." Persona 3 Portable&🦋apos;s remaster is focused entirely on graphical updates, and doesn't have any significant quality-of-life improvements or gameplay changes (outside of the option to change difficulty on the fly).

Earlier this month on January 1, the user doubled down on the claim of a Persona 3 remake in another thread. The thread was dedicated to Atlus announcing a host of new g🌜ame reveals in 2023, and according to the ResetEra user, one of these unannounced pr♈ojects will be a Persona 3 remake.

What'sꦏ notable is that the user claims this will be a 'definitive' version of Persona 3. Two versions of Persona 3 currently exist: Persona 3 FES, with an epilogue chapter taking place after the original game, and Persona 3 Portable, offering a playable female protagonist and new social links with characters.

Apparently, the full remake of Persona 3 will unite these elements and provid♋e one definitive version of the 2006 PSP game. With the past claim of Persona 3 Portable's remaster already proved to be correct, the ResetEra user claim of a remake is on solid ground. We'll have to wait and see until later this year if Atlus really is developing a full remakᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe of the PSP game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona developer At⛦lus has "several" unannoಌunced games slated to be revealed in 2023.

On January 1, published a New Year'𒉰s g✅reetings card from a total of 68 Japanese video game companies, among them Persona developer Atlus. As translated by , the studio teases that it is "preparing several new unannounced titles" for reveal in 2023.

"In 2023, we wil💜l start with the remastered releases of P3P and P4G, and we are also preparing several new unannounced titles. Please look forward to 𝐆it!" the full quote from the New Year's card reads from Atlus. As Persona Central points out, this isn't the first time Atlus has made such a pledge in a New Year's card.

The developer previously rounded out 2019 with a similar New Year's message. The following year in 2020, Atlus announced Catherine Classic, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Strikers, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. If 2023 is similar to th🍸is, we could see several high-profile games revealed from Atlus.

It's entirely possible one of these unannounced titles could be Persona 6, which was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:casua🔯lly confirmed by Atlus back in 2021. At the time, the studio's president announced the game was in development via a job listing, but𒁏 since then, we&aposꦐ;ve heard nothing official from the project.

Aside from unannounced games, Atlus has just two titles on the docket for 2023: Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden&a𝓀pos;s re-releases, both of which are set to launch later th𓄧is month on January 19. The duo w𒐪ill be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles, launching under the Game Pass umbrella on the latter platform.

Last year, fans began theorizing that Persona 6 might be based around the color green, if series anniversary art was anything to go by.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> The results of a ꦉPersona 5 Royal character poll have been revealed, and Ryuji's fans 𒆙are in tears.

Over the past weekend, Atlus and Sega revealed the results of a Southeast Asian-facing character poll for Persona 5 Royal. The results, whiꦇch you can see in full just below, have protagonist Ren Amamiya first, Makoto Niijima second, and sidekick Ryuji all the way in second-last place, higher only than Haru.

In the comments underneath the Persona subreddit post above🎶, Ryuji's fans bemoan the poll results. The trusty sidekick's fans are wondering how the hell their best boy managed to come second to last in the new poll, and what Southeast𝕴 Asian players have against Ryuji in particular.

One comment theorizes that voi♕ce actor Max Mittleman's performance in the English language dub of Persona 5 Royal wins over plenty of western fans for Ryuji, and it's hard to argue against that. Another commenter writes that Ryuji's perceived vulgarity in Asian languages doesn't do him any favors, un🧸fortunately.

Elsewhere, others are wondering how Haru managed to come in last place in the poll. This one isn't a huge surprise, honestly, as Haru♍ has always typically been one of the less popular Persona 5 character at large, due to her reduced screen time in the original 2017 release when compared to other characters like Ann and Futaba.

No one's particularly surprised that Makoto's finished in second place, howe🧔ver. The kickass honors student has always been a fan favorite since 2017, and one could easily make a case for Makoto being one of the best Persona franchise characters at large.

Don't forget, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden finally release on modern platforms later this month on January 19.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询🙈:Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden wi෴ll have a bunch of brand-new features when they re-lau⛎nch early next year.

When the two classic Atlus RPGs make their way to modern systems in January, they'll be accompanied by quality-of-life improvements, as first reported earlier today on December 14. As a new video from Atlus announces (by wa💜y of Morgana), Persona 3 Portable and 4 Golden's ports will feature smooth performances and high-definition graphics on all systems.

Next, Persona 3 Portable and 4 Golden will now let players save anywhere, not just at 'Save♍' points, which is no doubt a blessing for those familiar with the RPGs dungeon grinds. Persona 3 Portable players will also be able to change their difficulty settings on the fly for the first time.

Persona 4 Golden will also havꦇe an 'Album' feature, letting you replay cutscenes from certain events. This is actually restricted to Social Link events only though, it seems, but you'll still be able to recap your friendships with Chie, Yusuke, Yukiko, and others from your room at Dojima's house.

There's not too long to wait until the two older Persona games finally debut on modern consoles and PC, as they'll both be launching next month on January 19. At launch, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Series X/S players will be able to play native new-gen versions of Persona 3⛎ Portal and 4 Golden, but there'll unfortunately be no native PS5 versions of the two games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 series has hit another one million copies sold, six years after 💞it first released.

Developer Atlus only juꦛst announced the new sales milestone for Persona 5 on December 1. Persona 5 Royal, thanks to its recent re-releases across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch devices, has sailed past another one million copies sold since it launched in October.

All things told, this means the whole Persona 5 series is currently standing tall at 8.3 million copies sold, since Persona 5 first launched in Japan back in 2016 (thanks, ). That's combining sales figures from Per𓆉sona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, and the Persona 5 Strikers spin-off/sequel developed with Koei Tecmo.

Earlier this year in October, it was reported the Persona series at large had sold 15.5 million units worldwide since its inception. The really interesting nugget of info from that figure was that the Persona 5 series had made up 46.6% of that 15.5 million number, meaning the most recent mainline release in the RPG ser👍ies is absolutely carrying the Persona franchise at large.

It's no surprise, then, that Atlus is already hard at work on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 6. The developer's president quietly announced the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:next Persona game was in the works back in July 2021 in a job posting, but we haven't heard anything concrete on the new game since then. Fans think 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 6 co✱uld be them𒀰ed around the color green though, based o🐽ff an anniversary image published earlier this year.

The Persona series will no doubt see another sales boost early next year, when Persona 3 and Persona 4 Golden get modern console releases.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> The Persona series has sold 15.5 million units worldwide, and almost half of that i🉐s thanks to Persona 5.

As reported by (via Sega's ) the Persona serie🐠s has sold 15.5 million units worldwide, with 46.6% of that figure coming from♚ Persona 5-related titles. Sega also revealed that a whopping 77% of Persona's sales were from overseas users.

This figure notably includes Persona 5 and its expanded re-release Persona 5 Royal, as well as two spinoffs: the rhythm game Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the surprisingly go🍸od brawler Persona 5 Strikers. We don🍌't have an exact breakdown, but there&apo🌞s;s little doubt that Persona 5 and Royal represent the lion's share of sales here, and the success of the spinoffs is also obviously due to the popularity of the mainline game.

Elsewhere in the report, it's revealed that the Shin Megami Tensei series has sold approximately 19.0 million units during its lifetime, with Sega's little blue critter speeding ahead of both Shin Megami Tensei and Persona with Sonic the Hedgehog earning more than 1.51 billion units sold since 1991. To clarify, this figure also includes things like pachinko machines, amusement machin🅷es, toys, and more.

Other IPs mentioned in the report include the Total War series (more than 40.4 million units), the Football Manager series (more than 25 million units), the Yakuza series (approxim🌌ately 19.8 million units), and the Puyo Puyo seriℱes (approximately 37.7 million units).

In other Persona news, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden finally got a release date for modern platforms. Fans will be able to play them on PC, PS4, Xbox One, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch on January 19, 2023.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona 3 and 4’s re🍰-releases are actually native new-gen ports, but only on Xbox consoles.

As reported by Gematsu, Atlus has finally issued a comment on its query from earlier this year. It turns out that when Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden lauꦰnch in January 2023, native Xbox Series X/S versions of the two games will actually be available.

However, it appears the PS5 won’t see native versions of both Atlus RPGs, for some reason. Atlus has apparently yet to clarify to Gematsu why Persona 3 and 4’s new-gen ports will only be availablꦏe for Xbox consoles, but we know PS5 users will have to play PS4 versions of the two games instead of new-gen versions. At least PS5 users will be able to enjoy a𒉰 native version of Persona 5 Royal later this month.

T🤡his is particularly surprising given PlayStation’s history with the Persona series. Persona 3, 4, and 5 all launched as exclusive to whichever PlayStation platform was available at the time, and Atlus fans never even questioned whether their beloved RPG series would one day come to other platfor🎃ms.

That all changed with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 4 Golden, which first arrived on PC back in 2020. Now the floodgates have effectively been opened, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 Royal coming to PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms later this month, and Persona 3 and 4 arriving on the same plat♑f🔯orms, plus PS4, next year in January 2023.

All things considered, it certainly seems as though X🎃box might well be the best plac🐈e to play the Persona franchise, a sentence we never thought we’d type out. Persona 5 Royal arrives on new platforms on October 21, and Persona 3 and 4’s launch is slated for January 19.

We could also be looking at a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:live-action Persona 5 adaptation, as Atlus previously hinted at earlier this year.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> We finally have a release date for the♑ "modern platforms" release of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden: January 19, 202𓂃3.

We knew they were coming, of course – with a Persona 5 port leading the pack with its imminent release later this month – but now we finally know that we'll get to play the cherished RPGs on our current-gen t🎃ech just a couple of weekᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚs into the new year.

Interestingly, whilst there's no PS4 versꦦion of the upcoming Persona 5 Royale, both Persona 4 Golden and Persona🍌 3 Portable are coming to PS4, as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X - including Game Pass - and Nintendo Switch.

They're also both coming to PC, too, and while you'll be able to get both on🎀 PC Windows, it seems that only Personal 3 Portable is coming to Steam right now.

Did you know that a tabletop Persona 5 Royal card game is coming next year? Atlus and board game publisher Pandasaurus Games jointly announced the game a couple 🦩of days back. Entitled Persona 5 Royal - well, that makes sense - it's expected to arrive on October 21, 2023.

Designer Emerson Matsuuchi, ꦫknown for tabletop titles like Century: Eastern Wonders and Foundations of Rome, explained that "players will take on the roles of their favorite Phantom Thieves and fight to change the world," echoing the themes of the JRPG.

Pandasaurus co-o♔wner Nathan McNair said he "cannot wait to bring the Palaces, Velvet Room and world of Persona 5 Royal onto tabletops everywhere in 2023," seemingly hinting that the settings in the ca🦹rd game will adapt some environments and challenges from the video game.

And don't forget that Persona 5 Royal is coming to Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, and PS5 (natively, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:with no free upgrade available) on October 21, and Atlus is launching a fancy 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"1 More edition of the game for its multi-platform debut".

Persona 5 could get a live-action adaptation as Atlus parent Sega pushes to bring games to "new mediums and for new audiences."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> A tabletop Persona 5 Royal card game is comin❀g next year.

Atlus and board game publisher Pandasaurus Games jointly the game today. The cooperative card game seems to be eponymously ti♏tled Persona 5 Royal, and it's expected to arrive on October 21, 2023.

Designer Emerson Matsuuchi, known for tabletop titles like Century: Eastern Wonders and Foundations of Rome, explained that "players w꧙ill take on the roles of their favorite Phantom Thieves and fight to change the world,𝐆" echoing the themes of the JRPG.

Pandasaurus co-owner Nathan McNair said he "cannot wait to bring the Palaces, Velvet Room and world of Persona 5 Royal® onto tabletops everywhe༒re in 2023," seemingly hinting that the settings in the card game will adapt some environments and challenges from the video game.

This adaptation comes as something of a surprise – though Atlus does seem determined to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:bring Persona 5 to every platform and medium possible – but as a turn-based game with a lot of mov🍬ing parts, Persona 5 Royal is a decent fit for a card gameಌ. Of course, with the game freshly revealed and still over a year away, there's a lot we don't know about how it plays.

One big question is how many people will be able to play this co-op game at once. Century: Eastern Wonders is designed for two to four players while Foundations of Rome is billed for two to f♛ive, so given Matsuuchi's history and the four-person party system that this project is at least loosely based on, we can reasonablཧy guess that the card game is somewhere around that range, but that is just a guess.

Persona 5 could get a live-action adaptation as Atlus parent Sega pushes to bring games to "new mediums and for new audiences."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Atlus has stated it won🌠't announce any new Persona games at an upcoming event next month.

Earlier today on September 20, the official Japanese-facing Persona Twitter account published the two tweets just below. While the first tweet merely announces a new statue will debut at the Persona Super Live P-Sound 2022 concert next month, the second tweet warns viewers not💃 to expect an announcement of a brand new Persona game.

Anticipation has been high for a new Persona title for a few years now, since Persona 5 Royal launched in late 2019. The anticipation has been higher than ever since July 2021 though, when Atlus's director very casually confirmed that a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new Persona game was in active develoꦗpment via a job listing.

As we're now well over a year removed from that initial confirmation, you can see why some Persona fans would be anticipating the new game's unveiling at the Persona Super Live P-Sound 2022 concert next month, which takes place on October 8 and 9, broadcast live from ♈Chiba, Japan.

After a blockbuster Summer of announcements though, it seems Atlus is all out of surprises for fans. The developer unveiled back in June that ⭕Persona 4 Golden and 3 Portable 𓆏would be coming to modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as w꧙ell as PC, with Persona 5 Royal receiving a native🥂 new-gen version on the same platforms.

All things considered, it's already been a huge year for Persona, even without the reveal of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 6. Still, fans are pining through Persona artwork for teasers of the new game, which has lead to a new fan theory that the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:🌄new Persona gam🅠e is themed around the color green

Elsewhere, all three modern Persona games are coming to Nintendo Switch alongside the new console ports.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> It looks like you won’t be able to upgrade your PS4 copy of Persona 5 Royal to the PS5 edition for free.

That comes from a that’s been posted to the game’s Japanese website (thanks, ), with the developer explaining that there are currently no plans to offer a fre🦹e upgrade to owners of the PS4 version and that you’ll need to repurchase the title to play the PS5 version.

It also appears that only the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions will be getting a physical version, with Xbox editions being digital only. The developer also reaffirms that Persona 5 Royal is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one if you missed that initially. We’ve reached out to Atlus for more 🌳information and will update this story if we hear back.

If you’ve been out of the loop, Persona 5 Roy🅰al features heaps of new content that wasn’t in the original, such as a new character and party member called Kasumi, a new school semester and palace that expands the story, two new possible endings, and much more. Persona 5 Royal is currently available on PS5 thanks to backward compatibility, though a PS5-specific version with all the bells and whistles is coming later this year.

Atlus initially revealed that Persona 5 Royal is branching out earliꦚer this year during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, with the JRPG launching o🍒n Xbox and Steam along🧸side Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable.

Persona 5 Royal is due to launch later🌌 this year, though you’ll be waiting until 2023 for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> After yesterday's news that Persona could be adapted into a TV series or movie, it turns out♕ Persona 5 fans really, really don't want Tom Holland involved.

The sudden burning hatred for the Spider-Man star appears to have originated from the Twitte🅰r post below. You need 🌳only check the responses to and quote retweets of the post to see that Persona 5 fans are seriously wary of Tom Holland landing the role of protagonist Ren.

"I want to die," wrote one quote retweet response to the original joke post. "This single handedly ruined my whole life," another Twitter user wrote. "I would rather tඣhe sun explode and the solar system with it," stated one particularly dedicated Twitter user in 🍃response.

Tom Holland might have a hell of a lot of fans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the same can't be said for Persona fans. Other semi-ser🐼ious fancasts include Terry Crews as Ann Takamaki, Chris Pratt as Ryuji Sakamoto, and Danny DeVito as Igor. 🐟Actually, that last one sort of works.

Tom Holland or no Tom Holland, Sega announced just yesterday that they'd be looking to adapt Atlus games s🔜pecifically into live action projects. This obviously includes both movi♓es and TV shows, and what's crucial to note here is that Sega and Atlus would be collaborating on pro🅺jects together, both involved in creative decisions.

In fact, neither Sega nor Atlus has actually mentioned Persona specifically as a franchise they're looking to adapt. Instead, basically eve✤rything Atlus has developed - including Shin Megami Tensei, Catherine, and Persona - could all be up for adaptation. We'll have to wait and see to find out more.

Meanwhile, the Persona games are reaching new horizons, with Persona 5 Royal, 4 Golden, and 3 Portable set to arrive on PC and Xbox platforms by the end of 2023.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Persona 5 could get a live-action, as Sega says it's hoping to expand storytelling options for Atlus' 🌊catalogue of games.

Speaking to , Toru Nakarhara, lead producer on the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, said that "Atlus' worlds a💯re filled with high drama, cutting-edge style and compelling characters. Stories like those from the Persona franchise really resonate with our fans and we see an opportunity to expand the lore like no one has seen🅘 - or played - before."

Nakahara also confirmed that "together, Sega and Atlus are working to bring these stories and worlds to life through new mediums and for newﷺ audiences."

While Persona is mentioned specifically, it's not clear exactly what Sega's plans for that series, or whether any of Atlus' other games - which include Cather♐ine and Shin Megami Tensei - c𝓰ould also be adapted. Sega has found some recent live-action success with 2020's Sonic the Hedgehog and its recent sequel, although the initial reveal of the Blue Blur was not well received, and the character had to undergo some significant changes ahead of the film's release.

As for Persona, it's been a big few weeks. Persona 5 Roya෴l, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable were both revealed for PC and Xbo🐼x during Microsoft's E3 2022 showcase, and Nintendo unveiled a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 Royal Switch port during the Nintendo Direct Mini earlie🍌r this week. That version will arrive later this year, with 3 Portable and 4 Golden set to come to Switch in 2023.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> While historically the Persona release schedule has been spotty in terms of making its way from Japan to the rest of the world, the last few generations of consoles has thankfully seen that trend diminish. It's now at the point where Persona 3 Reload released globally at the same time, without having to wait months for a translation. A good thing too, as this series stands tall among the likes of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Like A Dragon as some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best JRPG games out there. The series' ideas have even been reinterpreted in a new project from some of Persona's original creators – and, as our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor ReFantazio review attests, they still very much have legs.

Despite only releasing six numbered mainline games (depending on how you count them), Persona has grown a lot from PS1 to PS5. While battling enemies, recruiting demons, and exploring dungeons has always been at the fore, it's only gotten snappier and slicker to do so. Meanwhile, from Persona 3 onward, a calendar and social link system have become key to its identity, giving the series a unique flavor that's unmatched. Its roots as a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Shin Megami Tensei spin-off mean that there's still plenty of dark elements to Persona's stories, even if it's become a bit mꦛore vibrant ꦓin recent years.

With the likes of Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal now with us, and plenty of additional games in between, we've looked at the best Persoꦯna games to play right now – and thankfully a lot are on modern consoles (especially if you own a PS Vita or PS3 for digital downloads of classics). With plenty of different versions available for each, we'll be spotlighting the ones that feel li🅘ke the most definitive releases, as those are our recommendations. Even though they're all great games, read on to find out our ranking!

12. Persona 4: Dancing All Night

Developer: P-Studio
Platform(s): PS Vita, PS4
Release date: September 29, 2015 (Persona 3 and Persona 5 versio🤡ns: December 🦋4, 2018)

For brevity's sake, we'll also count this entry as representing Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight as well. Look, these are some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best rhythm games we've played, and the hour count some of our staff have clocked up in these would make you shud🐬der. But if we're ranking Persona games here we need to take into account how Persona-y they really are, and as far the series' spin-offs go these have little in common with the core series. Persona 4: Dancing All Night is the best of the bunch, thanks to a fully-featured storyline that acts as an epilogue to the Persona 4 cast you came to love. While the other two games don't feature stories that are as in-depth, it's still nice to continue to grow closer to the characters in conversations between busting down sick moves.

Learn more in our Persona 4: Dancing All Night review, where we said the game was "a challenging, gorgeous rhythm game that marks a joyous reunion with characters you adore"

11. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona

A battle in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona

Developer: Atlus
Platform(s): PSP (Original: PS1)
Release date: September 22, 2009 (Original: December 14, 1996)

The first Persona game, released in 1996 for PS1, doesn’t have any of the features we associate with the series now – the music isn’t quite funky enough, there are no bright colors, and the social links with your teammates don⛎’t exist yet. You can't even negotiate demons into your party like in early Shin Megami Tensei games, though they can still give you bonuses. Its English release also cut out the game's entire second route. Thankfully, this was restored in the much improved PSP release, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, as well as the addition of boppier tunes a🐬nd slicker combat. The foundations are here, but its limitations stand out in retrospect, making this still feel like a prototype for what was to come rather than an essentially play for anyone but the most committed.

10. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Developer: Arc System Works, P-Studio
Platform(s): PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Switch, PC
Release date: September 30, 2014 (Remaster: March 17, 2022)

Similar to Persona 4: Dancing, this spin-off is a phenomenal entry in its respective genre, and was one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best fighting games available in its time, but it's too different from the core series to really rank higher. This combines content from the original Persona 4 Arena while adding much more. The storyline gives a new adventure for both the Persona 3 and Persona 4 cast, and each fighter feels unique to control with plenty of references to how they act in the RPGs they come from. Gorgeous pixel art meets responsive combat, as you'd expect from developer Arc System Works (read our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Ball FighterZ review for more on why they're so good). If that's not all, the mos൩t recent remaster of the game across PC and PS4 even added rollback netcode so online play is💞 silky smooth.

Learn more in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 4: Arena review, where we said it "marks the best initial entry in a fighting game franchise to date"

Classic Persona games already shared a lot in common with sister series Etrian Odyssey, so it made sense when making the jump to less powerful hardware with the Nintendo 3DS to lean further into it. Developers were shuffled around, resulting in a team made up of staff from both the most recent game in that series (a great one too – read our Etrian Odyssey 4: Legends of the Titan review for that!), and Persona veterans. Combining the cast of Persona 3 and Persona 4 they must journey together through mazes and fighting in turn-base𒅌d battles. What's neat is you can make up different combinations of party members, and see how they bounce off one another. Despite being a spin-off, this feels as Persona as they come, even if the story ultimately feels a little inconsequential by virtue of having to fit within the scope of both pre-existing games.

8. Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth

The cast of Persona 5 sit in cinema seats, about to enter the world of Persona Q2

Developer: P-Studio
Platform(s): Nintendo 3DS
Release date: June 4, 2019

Honestly, this was a struggle to fit in, as it plays so similarly to the original Persona Q, once again iterating on the premise of fitting core Persona mechanics into an Etrian Odyssey-styled structure. Injecting Persona 5 characters into ♉the mix al✅ongside the returning Persona 3 and Persona 4 cast, there's certainly lots to love. Even so, it's spread a bit thin as a result, meaning the story and interactions stick with us a little less. So why rank it higher? Simply put, a dungeon crawler like this is all about the mechanics and how it feels to play moment to moment, and this is where Persona Q2 really evolves on what came before. From exploring the mazes to combat, everything just feels better in action. It really makes us hope for another game in the series in the future, as it's honestly quite a unique combination that deserves to be explored further.

Developer: Atlus
Platform(s): PSP (Original: PS1)
Release date: September 20, 2011 (Original: June 24, 1999)

While we've included the original release date above, this sequel only received an English localization for its PSP re-release, meaning for many it was over a decade in the making. And as a sequel, it doesn't disappoint. Battles are slicker, recruiting demons feels more fluid, and a switch from first- to third-person dungeon crawling does a lot to remove the original's monotony (though there are still a lot of hallways to run through). The story is also a cut above, a dark tale revolving around a group of teens who must use their new powers to pursue the jester-like Joker, 🅺who is seeding reality-warping rumors to cause havoc in Sumaru City. In a neat twist, you can use these rumors yourself as well, to, for example, change the items stocked by certain shops or unlock new areas.

6. Persona 5 Tactica

Developer: P-Studio
Platform(s): PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch, PC
Release date: November 17, 2023

Persona 5 Tactica may have chibi-like redesigns like the Persona Q games, but this Persona 5-dedicated spin-off couldn't be further from it in terms of gameplay. There's no dungeon crawling whatsoever, instead focusing entirely on battles. Though here, the skills and abilities you're familiar with from Persona 5 are translated into XCOM-like skirmishes across grid-based spaceꦦs. It's a neat twist on a battle system you may already be familiar with to add positioning into the mix. Flanking enemies is rewarded as well, with the power to unleash triangular synergy strikes. The story, while a bit weightless overall, has some fantastic character writing throughout all with an interesting revolutionary framing.

5. Persona 5 Strikers

Developer: Omega Force, P-Studio
Platform(s): PS4, Switch, PC
Release date: February 23, 2021

Developed in collaboration with Omega Force, it'd be easy to think this would just be another licensed reskin of their popular ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚDynasty Warriors action games where you use flashy skills to demolish hundreds of enemies in every level. While that is the case to an extent, there's a lot more to exploring each level in this road trip adventure across Japan. Also, with a really in-depth storyline that both introduces great new characters and builds upon those from the original game, this really is the closest we've got to an actual Persona 5 sequel. It has all the emotional moments you've come to expect from Persona, with an epic conclusion to match. Plus, it's just neat to go ham with big moves in real-time combat for a change, and Omega Force just knows how to make that feel good.

4. Persona 4 Golden

The protagonist gets ready to battle in a TV setting in Persona 4 Golden

Developer: Atlus
Platform(s): PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch, PC, PS Vita (Original: PS2)
Release date: November 20, 2012 (Original: July 10, 2008)

You're right, some of the weather effects did look more atmospheric on the PS2 original. But the allure of playing this amazing RPG on the go through the PS Vita was too much to not catapult this version ahead. Thanks to its portability on a handheld console starved of big budget support, this is the game that🍒 really made people pay attention to Persona. The core of Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5 is much the same: dungeon crawling, recruiting powerful demonic persona, and forging bonds with allies in downtime via Social Links to grow more powerful. Persona 4 Golden's small town murder mystery vibe is phenomenal, and each party member feels more centered to each chapter's events than its predecessor. Despite the bleak murder, this is the brightest and peppiest in the series as well. It's just a shame that the corridor heavy dungeons that have you popping into TVs can grate, and that some characters' plot threads haven't aged all too gracef𒀰ully.

Developer: Atlus
Platform(s): PS1
Release date: June 24, 2000

Yes, there are two Persona 2 games, so it might be best to think of this one as Persona 2-2 as it follows on from Persona 2: Innocent Sin directly while also mirroring the events that take place there. In a bizarre inversion from that game's release, this one only released on PS1 in English and we did not get the improved PSP re-release. Go figure. So why is this more dated version higher on the list? Because it just rocks. The cast of characters skews more mature here, focusing on young adults rather than high school teens, and every element from its predecessor has been iterated upon to feel better in play: the dungeons, the combat, recruiting persona, and the writing. While its reuse of assets from 🐟the other Persona 2 can feel repetitive back-ꦉto-back, it's also a canny way to get the most out of what they'd built. More games could do well to consider iterating in this way, as it pays dividends here.

2. Persona 3 Reload

Akihiko prepares to fight a gigas in Persona 3 Reload

Developer: P-Studio, Atlus
Platform(s): PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC (Original: PS2)
Release date: February 2, 2024 (Original: July 13, 2006)

As the first part of the series to use social links and the calendar system, we owe Persona 3 the social and dating elements that added a lot of flavor to the series. It also overhauled the battle system, introducing the "one more" system that allowed you to build momentum in fights. Originally, you could only control the main character, but this was changed in later releases, including the gorgeous and complete overhaul that is Persona 3 Reload, the series' firs🐭t true remake to date.

With a somber tone, Persona 3 carries Shin Megami Tensei's torch forward but without being too gloomy (thanks in part to an incredibly toe-tapping soundtrack). Persona 3 asks more difficult questions, without delving into silly or problematic territory as its sequels could. In short, it's aged very well. Even the lengthy central dungeon, Tartarus, can feel soothing to explore rather than purely grindy thanks to its expected design, which has been given some needed redecoration with Persona 3 Reload especially. It is a shame, though, that the female protagonist's route is not included in this version, as we loved it in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 3 Portable review.

1. Persona 5 Royal

Developer: P-Studio
Platform(s): PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Switch, PC
Release date: March 31, 2020 (Original: April 4, 2017)

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 gets the most out of the gameplay series of the system, m♔aking sure that no encounter gets too long if you exploit y🍰our enemies’ weaknesses properly thanks to its genuinely additive "baton pass" system. With the return of negotiations, demon enemies, the fuller suite of elemental powers, and the mix of melee and gun combat from the classics like Persona 2, this really is Persona firing on all cylinders. Dungeons are massively overhauled, with much less corridor crawling, instead feeling like fully realized explorable spaces that tie into the theming of the story chapter you're in.

Mixing sweet and sour, the story is both light-hearted and gripping, featuring some of the best social links in the series all set within well-known locations in Tokyo. The additional third term in Persona 5 Royal pushes this even further, with a great story arc that every Persona fan needs to play. On top of all that, Persona 5 is just incredibly stylish, right down to a typeface that’s so iconic people have p🌜reviously cosplayed it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Persona ]]> Perꦕsona 5 Royal's Nintendo Switch port already has fans debating how well it'll actually run on Nintendo&ap🌼os;s console.

Just earlier today on June 28, Atlus finally broke the news that the long-awaited 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 Royal Switch por﷽t was real, and releasing alongside other platforms later this year in October. That no doubt brought o𝕴ut the fans in droves, but some are definitely cautious about just how Atlus's massive RPG will actually run on the portable console.

As you can see just below, some are definitely hesitant to believe it'll run well on the Nin𒆙tendo Switch. There's some debate online about whether the frame rate of Persona 5 Royal will drop below the standard 30FPS threshold when running scenes like an All Out Attack, for example.

Meanwhile, others are already convinced Persona 5 R꧅oyal won't struggle on the Switch at all. As the Twitter user just below rightly points out, Catherine: Full Body utilized the same game engine as Persona 5 Royal, and the Nintendo Switch port of the puzzle game had no problem maintaining a 30FPS benchmark on Nintendo's console.

Whether Persona 5 Royal does actually run well on the Nintendo Switch or not, we only have to wait until October to find out for sure. Atlus's RPG launches worldwide on October 21 for the Switch, PC, and Xbox platforms, and will also be receiving a native PS5 upgrade on 𒉰the same day. It's an incredibly good tiꦚme to be a Persona fan, that's for sure.
