Worlds collided recent꧒ly as former PlayStation head Shuhei Yoshida joined forces with Ni🐼ntendo of America's former marketing leads Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang on an episode of their podcast.

They spoke about their time working at the respective companies, with the topic of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:rivalry between the DS and the PSP naturally coming up during the conversation.

Despite being a player for the other team, Yoshida was extremely positive about the Switch 2, especially the Japanese-only edi❀tion t꧑hat costs $110 less than the worldwide edition, with the caveat that you'll only be able to play Japanese region Nintendo games on it. Yoshida said the direction from Nintendo was "mind boggling," but an "amazing business decision."

"I do not necessarily think other companies like PlayS♒tation would emulate what they did," he added. "It doesn't make sense to me, you know, selling the same thing for such a different price for other consumers."ജ Yoshida notes "it's clearly showing they want to keep the strong hold in Japan that they already have… that's an amazing decision they have made."

Handhelds are an extremely strong market in Japan, and pre♎tty much always have been. It's the reason Monster Hunter was pretty much a handheld-exclusive series for so long before the series took off worldwide. So Nintendo offering a cheaper way to get more handheld systems out to Japanese consumers is arguably a good plan, even if selling a console at a significant regional discount at launch is, as Yoshida said, "mind boggling🌜."

Wind Waker on Nintendo Switch 2 made two tiny changes that break it wide open for Zelda speedrunners – a strategy so hard "only a few people in the whole world can do it" is suddenly a lot easier.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> I'm so sorry to be the one to tell you this, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Terraria fans, but there's still no release window for the long-awaited update. There is some information about what's coming, and the most exciting news is tꦦhat the Palworld and Terraria collaboration will see some of the critters brought into the 2D game.

"We still do not have a release date to give out," the developers at Re-Logic state in a . "Every day is one day closer, of course, but we are trying to remain overly cautious and c𓂃onservative in regards to giving out any timing. We do not want to repeat the mistake of giving out a timing window and then have things change and it not be accurate."

That seems sensible. Better to just wait and then be given an actu൩al release date than be disappointed on ꦇthe day.

Palworld got its Terraria crossover just two days ago, and Terraria will be getting its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Palworld crossover as part of the 1.4.5 update. "There will be Palworld content in Terraria," the devs promise. They also shareꦫ a GIF of a Digtoise being summoned and spinning around to dig down and then 🦄across, with each block of dirt it destroys being automatically sent to the player.

"We are working in se💮cret to bring some of your favorite Pals to life in the world of Terraria! What other Pals might appear? What other Palworld content might you see? Who knows?"

In slightly less exciting news – to me, anyway – there are "a handful of new furniturꦯe sets coming with the update," so you'll be able to customize your base even more.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Legend of Zelda: Tea♛rs of the🦩 Kingdom's dedicated Switch 2 edition promised to clear up some of the original's rough edges, and it did so with smoother performance even when you're falling through the sky, much quicker load times, and an upped resolution. But the next-gen upgrade also 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:unintentionally broke the game in ways some playe✃rs are actually having fun with. You don't need to look much further than a newly discovered duplication glitch that's much simpler than any other method.

With a new-gen copy of Tears of the Kingdom, you can pretty easily make almost any item in your inventory multiply. All you need is at least three of whatever item you want to dupe, one item you're willing to sacrif꧃ice to make the exchange, any bow, and the Fuse ability, which every post-tutorial player should have access to.

First off, you need to fuse the item you want to clone (let's use a diamond in this example) to an arrow in order to 'split' the stack. This means 🍷you'll have two lots of diamonds instead of a bunch of diamonds in one item slot. You'll then need to jump into the air, pause the game, get rid of the sacrificial item (preferably by eating it), and unequip your bow to create the second stack.

From there, you need to jump again, go to the menu mid-air, hold as many diamonds as you want to clone, sort your inventory, unpause, drop the items, and pick them all back up. And voila. You'll have double the diamonds. Don't spend it all at once. Phew.

If you'd rather see all the steps visually, YouTuber Gaming Reinvented has a pretty breaking the dupe glitch down. (Kudos to for seemingly discovering the exploit, tꦑhough.)

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Capcom has finally announced a second batch of post-release costumes for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Street Fighter 6, and they s𓆉ure are going to please a specific section of fans… and Luke's voice actor from the looks of t🥃hings.

Street Fighter 6 is pretty beloved as far as fighting games go (especially when Tekken is having a real rough time right now), but the biggest criticism is the absolute lack of costumes available for the characters when compared🧜 to previous entries. The game launched with default costumes, and one extra fit (which was an outfit from a previous game for most of the cast), but it took Capcom half a year to for the cast. And then nothing.

Outfit 3 dropped in December 2023, and since then everyone's𓆉 been wondering what's taking Capcom so long. Well, last ni𒈔ght's Capcom Spotlight stream revealed that yes, we are finally getting Outfit 4, and Capcom has dropped the bikini DLC to hopefully distract from the fact that SF5 had way more costumes by this point.

The first wave of costumes releases on August 5 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:alongside Sagat, and features swimsuits for Kimberly, Chun Li, Cammy, Manon, A.K.I, Jamie, and Luke. Everyone is showing off a ton, and Capcom knows it, from the reactions to the fits in its Twitter replies. Including one Aleks Le – who voices Luke – simply responding, ahem, "im glornba caurm.💎"

Even outside of the fanservice, these costumes are also deep cuts. The Chun Li and Cammy outfits are based on art by Kinu Nishimura made for Super Street Fighter 2 back in 1993. Meanwhile Manon's new outfit comes from the cover of the by Udon, with the cover artist posting about their design being used on the

It's unclear if the rest of the cast are going to have their beach bods on show when they get their Outfit 4 drop, or if there will be other themes. I mean, Zangief is already wearing the tiniest pair of pants in his classic SF2 outfit, so there's not much else you can do to make him skimpier. But then again, I'm sure these costumes will sell a ton and I'll have to deal with significantly more Cammy players playing poorly online, so why not do bikinis for the whole cast.

Capcom also revealed some 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Resident Evil Requiem gameplay at the Capcom Spotlight, and it's a big day for people who like walking down hallways.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Donkey Kong Bananza feels like somewhat of a watershed moment for DK, as well as the series’ biggest celebration in… well, ever? There’s a bunch of callbacks to the original 1981 Donkey Kong game, with his 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new design and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pauline being a major player in the plot. But equally there’s a lot of love being shown to the first major turning point of DK’s career, with Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, and returning music stings 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:like the DK Rap being pulled from the 1990s Rareware era.

But for a game that seems so much like a celebration of the series, there doesn't seem to be any returning villains. Rather than a familiar face returning, the Void Co. Kongs are the enemy this time around. Donkey Kong Country Returns’ Tiki Tak Tribe (the lame ones) are big enough that they appear in Nintendo’s Donkey Kong Country area at Universal Studios. Meanwhile, Tropical Freeze’s Snowmads are pretty well liked, but neither made it past one game. However, Donkey Kong does have a nemesis:✤ it just so happens to be one he hasn’t fought since 1999 (in a mainline game at least).

Long live the king

King K Rool, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong all flying together in front of the sun

Going bananas

Donkey Kong Bananza screenshot shows DK and Pauline looking around an area shrouded in green light.

Here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch 2 games we've got our eye on

King K. Rool was the central antagonist of the Donkey Kong Country trilogy and the sole previous 3D game in the series, Donkey Kong 64 (not to mention 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the musical animated series; can’t forget that). But outside of minor spinoffs, he didn’t do a whole bunch aftౠer that. The king went on hiatus for a good ten years until Super Smash Bros. Ul🌟timate brought him back (with the sickest character trailer for that game, I might add) after being one of the most requested characters.

And sure, the Void Co. bosses look pretty cool. But none of them have the aura of the big dummy-thicc crocodile – after all, apes and crocodiles are natural enemies in the wild (probably). And after 10 years without a new Donkey Kong game, and the big boy's grand return with Smash Bros, seeing the series’ most iconic villain – barring Mario, obviously – revealed to be the big bad in Bananza would be the perfect cherry on top of what already is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:my most anticipated game of 2025.

If Nintendo is treating Bananza as a big new moment for the series after years of build-up (with the prominent Mario movie role and theme park expansion); and part of that moment is bridging the gap between Nintendo and Rare’s iterations of the character, then having a surprise third-act villain drop from DK’s greatest nemesis feels like the perfect move. In Mario Odyssey you had the Broodals be the hired goons Mario scrapped🎐 with throughout the game, with Bowser being the overall villain, so having that dynamic with Void Co. and the surprise addition of K. Rool could be the natural extension of that.

Void Co. pium

Obviously, this is just ܫa wishlist item for me in relation to a game I’m going to love regardless. But since Donkey Kong Bananza was announced, the sleuths have been looking for any signs of K. Rool, and I’ll admit some evidence is compelling for sure. The most obvious of which being the Crockoids, which are big stone crocodile enemies, with their hard outer shell having boxing gloves, just like a certain DK64 boss fight. And then once you break those rocks open, there are very Kremling-looking skeletons inside. Plus, there are 2D sections ripped straight out of Donkey Kong Country.

Not to mention in the list of compatible Amiibo features the Smash Bros. K. Rool ami🍷ibo, which, granted, could be taken as a negative because surely Nintendo wouldn’t ruin the surprise this way, but it’s also an acknowledgement of the character.

But it’s not just me. Take one look at the Donkey Kong subreddit and it's filled with about ; with a fairly common theory being that that tiny marmoset Void Kong . Th🌊is is such a big point of discussion that we’re getting and . There’s another big theory about

Donkey Kong mid-punch in Donkey Kong Bananza, his fur and the mud around him matching the arc of his swipe to give a real sense of momentum

Ultimately, will it matter if King K. Rool comes back in the end? Probably not, the game looks absolutely phenomenal even without him. But at the same time, after seeing the massive in Super Smash Bros, it’d be a big shame to let the character stagnate. A🍷nd even without a non-spinoff appearance in over 25 years, the K💃remlings and their king are still synonymous with Donkey Kong in the post-Rare era in a way the other villainous groups never really reached – no one was asking for Lord Fredrik in Smash, after all.

If you need one last bit of convincing, it would give Nintendo an excuse ꦚto bring back – and isn't that reason enough?

We've rounded up the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Switch 2 games to keep you busy until Donkey Kong Bananza arrives

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> My 2025 bingo card didn't includ✃e Donkey Kong (probably unintentionally) becoming Nintendo's premier sex icon, but that's what's happening thanks to a new 15-inch cushioཧn that, for some reason, comes with an arm-sized hole.

Nintendo has revealed new merch for the innocent-looking, family-friendly platformer 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Donkey Kong Bananza. You can get fleece jumpers and t-shirts th♏emed after everyone's favorite monke, ♈but the collection's showstopper is easily the $35 "super soft and huggable" barrel plush with a suspiciously-placed hole.

"Unlike other ordinary plush, it has a unique squishy texture and iཧs super soft to touch," the cushion's reads.

I've never once bought a cushion and wished it had a hole – what would I possibly use it for? – but the UK website variant more clearly demonstrates what Nintendo intended for peo𝐆ple to do with it as the shows a woman snugly laying her head down on the barrel while her 🦄arm fits inside. Useful for the rare occasion you want to sleep at your desk, I guess?

The more obvious use is, well, urm.▨.. the internet has already figured that one out. Let's just say some people saw it and immediately thought 'Oh, it's a banana hole.' And, you know wh𒆙at? Fair enough. The jokes write themselves. But here's one from me, too: What do Donkey Kong and Banjo-Kazooie have in common? They both like to Nut(s) & Bolt(s).

Needless to say, I won't be looking at the name 🌼DK the same way ever again.

Donkey Kong's no stranger to sexual innuendo, though. That cursed, really surreal Donkey Kong cartoon from the 1990s was infamous for how darn caked up our titular ape was, along with a "" song that's so out of pocket, it's hard to believe it's from an official Nintendo animation. It's probably worth checking out 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:now that it's free on YouTube, though – just for the early rotoscopedཧ mocap and musical numbers, that is.

Donkey Kong Bananza is bringing back the DK Rap, but after going uncredited for the seminal hip hop classic in the Mario Movie, the song's composer wasn't aware it was returning in the Switch 2 game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World's new update has proven to be so unpopular, some fans claim to be , an eight-year-old game. (11 if you're countin♒g the orig♌inal Wii U version.)

Mario Kart World's intermission tracks – the roads you race on in between the actual, proper, traditional tracks – exist in a gray area. Some people love them. I do, at least in the frantically non-stop Knockout Mode. Some people 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:kinda hate them. But Nintendo recently told everyone to shut up and eat what they're served as Mario Kart World's latest update lesꦜsened the chances of racing on a classic three-lap circuit online.

You see, Mario Kart World never explicitly gave you the option to simply race on a three-lap track in the first place. During online play, you could pick between three tracks that include intermissions or 'Random', which would guarantee a three-lapper. After the new update, though, even 'Random' can shove you into an intermission-filled race, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:exacerbating a🌳n already annoying problem.

Fans across social media haven't reacted well to the change. have been slamming the game's dampened options for the last day or so, 🌞not to mention from popular content creators like Shortcat, which have 🔥700,000 views and counting.

"I'm actually happy for this, not because of the feature removal, that sucks, but because now I have an excuse not t♌o buy the Switch 2," one fan . "You're going to hold down the A button and not much else and you're going to like it," says another.

The main complaints stem from the obvious fact that less option aren't great. Knockout Mode is more obviously d🐈esigned with intermissions in mind, but right now, normal races just seem like a chopped up version of the same experience. Intermissions also seem to encourage dull strategies, like waiting at the back with particular items until the last leg of the race, if you want first-place bragging rights.

A couple players have even about their half-full online lobbies after the update. I jumped in to see wha💧t was up myself (totally not an excuse to play Mario Kart World during work hours), and anecdotally, it did take me way longer to get into a regular race than it did for Knockout Mode.

For now, check out some 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 games.

Speaking on Twitter (again), Pitchford points out the 95% discount Borderlands 3 is currently at thanks to the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:2025 Steam Summer Sale, br꧒inging the price from $60 to a mere $3. But if you're hoping to see a similar price slash on Borderlands 4, it won't be any tไime soon according to him.

"Sales like th🧜is and Borderlands 3 showing up on console subscription programs took over five years from the game's launch," Pitchford says༒ about Borderlands 3's major discount. "And to set expectations, it will be even longer before this kind of thing happens in the next cycle with Borderlands 4," he adds.

Borderland 4's $70 price tag was welcome news to those who were fearing it'd actually cost $80, fears which weren't helped by Pitchford telling players 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"if you're a real fan", you'd buy it for those 10 extra dollars. Borderlands publisher 2K put the $80 fears to rest a couple of weeks ago, when it confirmed the latest instalment will cost $70, a price which 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pitchford now says he is "so stoked" about.

Pitchford has steadily been keeping the hype train going for Borderlands 4, revealing the game 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:has "more skills per character" than Borderlands 2 and 3 had combined, and calling Borderlands 4 better than Borderlands 3 "by every measurement we have, including subjective ones", leaving fans with high expectations.

Borderlands 4 director says the FPS is "more intense" than others in the series while Randy Pitchford hints its toughest boss hasn't even been shown.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> A Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 owner with a – in my opinion – hilariously named username, Twink Link, had their system permanently banned recently apparently because Nintendo didn't find it so amusing. They con෴tacted the support staff, who allegedly laughed and found the incident amusing, but the final update isn't so funny.

This player generously lets everyone in their family use their Switch 2, but this has somehow led to their sister's username being changed to Twink Link. If you've seen Link in any of the modern Zelda games, he is a bit of a twink, especially in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Breath of the Wild, which the family was all "so excited" to play until this system b♛an.

A full system ban means you can't access any of the online aspects 🤪of the Switch 2. You may think♊ that just means no multiplayer, which isn't too bad, but it's worse – you can't even use the eShop, which means you can't buy digital games or even download ones you'd previously purchased.

from

In a final edit to their original Reddit post, the unlucky player writes: "Permanent system bans cannot be revoked by ཧNintendo at all. I was told to return my system and use the latest save data cloud backups. I feel ꦿkinda trashy doing that because GameStop will inevitably sell it to another customer and the code is no longer in the box."

I'm surprised this is apparently the official advice from the support team, as I wouldn't have assumed people would get refunded for bricked consoles. And unless others have the option to buy second-hand, banned consoles for a hugely discounted rate, someone is going to be getting a very raw deal here. So, don't tryꦯ to be cute with your usernames.

In-depth Wear & And Tear and widespread broadcasting improvements are just two of the ways that EA Orlando looks to be overhauling its veteran Gridiron franchise. ‘Franchise’ being an operative word – because that once-beloved mode is also getting a much-needed makeover.

On the field, QB DNA is the most noteworthy addition, but there’s an assortment of other upgrades too, with news of Ultimate Team still to come. The Madden 26 cover star is Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, while there are intriguing cameos from yesteryear favourites such as Randy Moss. That means the Madden 26 release date is three weeks earlier, on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Philly’s year of glory continues with the news that the Madden 26 cover vote winner is Eagles running back Saquon Barkley – althoughﷺ these days that choi🐠ce is made internally within EA.

It wasn’t always this way, which is why whispers of a Madden 26 cover vote still managed to infiltrate social media. Historically the 🌃game’s main man was chosen by a fan poll over the internet, but this had to be changed following Madden 12. That year, Cleveland Browns fans overwhelmed the vote, catapulting m▨id-tier RB Peyton Hillis onto the front of the box – and ensuring EA would decide on its cover athlete in-house for future editions.

Madden 26 franchise mode details

Andy Reid and Nick Sirianni wearing coaching headsets in Madden 26

For two decades, fans have pressurised EA to pour some love into a mode that existed long before Ultimate Team. With good reason – and it’s finally happening. Madden 26 franchise mode serves up a laundry list of changes, with draft logic, team needs logic and sim stats all retooled. Weather like snow and rain affects gameplay, while the impact of Wear & Tear means realistic injury reꩲports, with players listed as questionable and doubtful in the build up to your games.

Ahead of those games, you’re able to hone in on opponent strengths and weaknesses, and build a shooter-style load-out specific to one match – with individual play sheets than expand your playbook for one week only. Four different broadcast packages add week-to-week variety, as do any overhauled coaching tree, where your co-ordinators’ abilities matter as much as your head coach ones. Best of all, we're finally getting highlights pa𓄧ckages from around the league, hosted by Scott Hanson. It’s looking like a tantalising comeback for this classic mode.

Franchise improvements will be meaningless if Madden 26 can’t e𒅌scape the sameness of recent times. But, as demonstrated in our Madden 26 preview, developer EA Orlando knows this and is aiming to implement major changes on both sides of the ball. For the offense that means quick subs at the line of scrimmage, explosive locomotion, and ‘QB DNA’ – with 50 new traits like make Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson all feel like their authentic selves. In front of them, a focus on ‘foundational football’ sees blocking intelligence and animations fully retooled, too.

For the D, that same mantra means “assignment, alignment and technique” all come into play – so in theory, a cornerback will only pick off an aerial ball if he can see it first, rather than it being magnetically pulled into his hands. Custom zones and safety depth can both be edited at the l💛ine, while the result of tackles is based on more nuanced physicals calculations depending on a defenders angle and speed. That’s how it’s all supposed to work, anyway. It felt promising on our hands-on, and we’re excited to see whether it can hold up during sustained play in our mid-August review.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> One of the bosses in the upcoming first-person shooter Metroidvania Mouse: P.♍I. For Hire was inspired by Henry Cavill's portrayal of Mission: Impossible Fallout antagonist August Walker.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire is one of the more original looking shooters on the horizon, sporting an aesthetic that looks like it hitched a ride on one of those anthropomorphic steam trains all the way back to 1929. It's definitely one way to get some attention on what appears to be a genuinely inventive FPS/Metroidvania hybrid, even beneath its Goꦬlden Age carto🍷on surface.

A🐷nyway, developer Fumi Games revealed a new Mouse: P.I. For Hire boss in a brief Twitter clip today, and in so revealed Cavill's yoked antagonist as the main inspiration.

"Mee🍰t Reginald Shingler, just one of the bosses you'll meet in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire," reads the tweet. "T🦋hanks for the inspiration, Henry Cavill."

The clip shows Reginald doing a similar arm shuffle to August Walker in the 2018 action film Mission: Impossible Fallout, not to mention sporting a similar hairstyle and b☂ulging biceps.

If it wওasn't instantly recognizable visually, you'll probably remember Mouse: P.I. For Hire for going viral on TikTok and elsewhere in 2023, after its lead programmer started posting online.

Although Mouse: P.I. For Hire has nothing to do with the Mickey Mouse intellectual property, much of its more recent marketing has coincided with the historic transfer of the IP to public domain, almost certainly helping to bolster Mouse: P.I. For Hire's virality. The game is due out on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Switch 2, and PC in 2025.

Will it join the ranks of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best FPS games ever made? Only time will tell.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Epic is celebrating a legal win over an alleged Fortnite cheater who now owes the company $175,000 after ignoring a lawsuit filed late last year. That money is going straight to charity, but it represents one heck of🎀 a chunk of change compared with the $6k the player apparently won by cheating in aꦰ competitive tournament.

Back in December 2024, Epic said on Twitter that it "filed a🌞 lawsuit against a player who cheated in our tournaments. This player used cheating software and hardware and tried to avoi🦄d getting caught by using multiple accounts."

Today, the company says "the Judge ruled in our favor after the cheater ignored our law💮suit. The player is required to pay $175,000 and we’ll donate what we collect to c🍌harity. They are also banned from playing Fortnite forever."

While Epic did not provide any more details about the legal action on social media, has a bit more info from♒ the lawsuit itself. Sebastian Araujo is named as the cheater, with Epic alleging that the player had participated in 839 tournamentꦿs over the course of four months, winning "at least $6,850" in cash prizes.

"While the Court notes the amount sought by Plaintiff exceedingly surpasses Defendant's alleged actual gain, 🌄$6,850," court documents say, "Defendant took significant measures to conceal the true scope of his cheating activities by creating multiple fake accounts and employing a hardware spoofer to circ🅠umvent detections."

Last year, Epic made clear that it was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"ramping up legal♏ action" against c🥀heaters, and those efforts paid off in a separate settlement against another alleged cheater earlier this year. As our friends at reported at the time, the player ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚwas forced to donate the winnings to charity, banned from tournaments for life, forced to issue a public apology, and all but sent to his room without dinner.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Almost a month after the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, I've stiꦅll been mo♍stly playing The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World. While I was irked by the latter's focus on substituting most options for traditional three-lap play with interconnected tracks (known as 'intermissions' among fans), I had solutions. Local VS Mode play allows you to play three tracks, and voting for 'random' online did allow you to vote for a 3-lap course rather than a sprint across the open world. That's now changing, but not in the wa🌟y I was hoping.

Racing between tracks can be quite fun – it's the linchpin of Mario Kart World's Knockout Tour mode, after all, where 24-player chaos truly comes into its own (and which we loved in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World review). Yet, with Grand Prix also having you race between circuits every time, and most online tracks also being races to a track – followed by one brief lap on the course itself – the novelty begins to wear thin after repeated races. Mario Kart World's frequent breaks in the action began to wear me down with how they det🦩ract from spending more time in their really creativ♏e circuits.

Tracking data

Which means that, like me, . It seems Nওintendo has noticed this, like I originally hoped. But, bafflingly, for now the company has chosen to exacerbate the issue, reducing the ability to get my wheels onto the sweet, sweet 3-lap circuits I so crave.

With the Ver 1.1.2. update, selecting the fourth Random option in an online lobby vote no longer prov𝓀ides an almost guaranteed 3-l🍬ap track. Instead, it incorporates the three tracks up for grabs into that random selection, only giving you a really random track about a fo💎urth of th𓂃e time (the exact percentage is unclear).

It means it's not so easy to vote for a track outside of the three presented options, which are almost always intermission tracks – racing from one track to the next across a route made from the open world, before one quick lap of the track itself. It's fine to have the option for those tracksও, ♛but while the roads are pretty, so many of these connected bits of road just feel like straight lines. When it comes to racing across suspension bridges or gliding across a desert, almost all I'm doing is holding accelerate.

Bee Wario drifts a corner in Faraway Oasis in Mario Kart World

It's also on these bits of straight track that new features like wall riding and rail grinding feel the most underserved, as there's fewer chances to cut corners with skilful moves. Grinding on bridge൲ rails or electricity lines means going out of my way enough to do so that I'm usually losing places. All these roads are incredibly wide too, so there's really little of the thrilling drifting mechanics that shine so brightly when doing proper laps of the actual circuits.

It's a shame as a lot of the tracks in Mario Kart World are really good. Grand Prix even spotlights some of these – the first race of each is a standard 3-lap race before moving into its interconnected mode of play. Peach Beach, for instance, has you weaving through different chunks of the course w♊ith each lap.

Mario Kart World

While Crown City has a similar set-up when you do get the rare chance to play it as 3-laps – the first taking you into city limits, the second being a loop around the city itself, and the third moving you to its outskirts – you wouldn't know if you played most modes as🌠 standard. It does mean you get a taste of these unique laps by how you approach the course, but you don't get to enjoy it as a whole with these very brief final laps plonked at the end of interconnected tracks.

The same goes for the likes of Whistlestop Summit, where the position of the train each lap changes as it makes its own circuit and you need to be careful when making use of the railway. And the really clever revamp of Dino Dino Jungle where dinosaurs reposition throughout✅ a full race. It fe🧸els like most of the fantastic work Nintendo has put into Mario Kart World's tracks is hidden away, and they actively want me to stop me from enjoying them.

Even tracks that don't ch🍒ange much lap to lap feel much more complete when played as a full race. Dry Bones Burnout is a tense thrill ride across ancient bones as you nimbly dodge lava – but it feels like the race is over before it's even begun when you play it in its intermission form, the flag waving after just one lap when by rights it should feel like a climatic challenge.

Shell-ter skelter

I'm not against doing races where tracks are connected to one another. As I said before, the novelty of exploring that concept over the first few hours is fun enough, 💧and it shines across Free Roam and Knockout Tour modes. I wouldn't want to have those any other way, and they work really well as they are.

But it's confusing to me why Nintendo seems to be so keen to bury the option to do standard 3-lap races when players online seem to really long for that option. Myself very 💦much included. After all, online modes are inherently repetitive – why tour your way through simplistic straightaways when you can cut to the good stuff and hone your skills on the track?

I hope I'm jumping the gun here, and that my kart is about to spi𝔉n out rather than boost ahead. Perhaps this updat൩e is simply preceding the addition of a mode dedicated to 3-lap play? Yet, just as I get that sinking feeling when I see a blue shell in my rearview mirror, I do fear this is Nintendo trying to 'fix' the desire for people to play 3-lap races as much as possible, tipping the scales towards constant intermission play.

It does run the risk of shuffling players out of open online play altogether and towards private lobbies, or even back to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Which, by the way, is still great fun. With Mirror Mode nabbed and a lot of Free Roam explored, I just🦋 want to enjoy some circuit rac꧒es. Why is Nintendo making me feel like a moustache-twirling Waluigi for wanting to enjoy life's greatest gaming pleasures?

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> One glance at my author photo or learning that I'm above the age of 30 should be enough for anyone to surmise that I am not the target audience for the JLab x MrBeast Nightfall Wired gaming headset - and yet, I still quite like it.

It's not going to give the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming headsets a run for their money any time soon, but it ticks all the boxes of what makes a great bit of licensed tech. The MrBeast design might not be to everyone's tastes, but it manages to balance its flashy branding with a great sound and all for as low as under the $30 price mark.

Do I like the headset enough that I'm going to transform into a massive MrBeast fan? No, I'm much happier sticking to my hour-long video essays on Disney Channel shows I've never watched from YouTubers like Keyan Carlile instead. However, if you know a younger MrBeast fan in your life who wants to chat to their friends via GameChat on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 and has a sm🍨all budget in mind, this JLab X༺ MrBeast wired headset gets the job done.

JLab Gaming x MrBeast Nightfall Wired Gaming Headset |

This Walmart exclusive JLab x Mr Beast wired gaming heads♒et is ideal for not just fans of the over 408 million subscribed YouTuber, but anyone wanting a wired headset under the $30 mark for their Switch 2 that prioritizes a grওeat sound and comfort over any flashy branding.

Besides the sound quality, the main factor I look at the most when it comes to any licensed 🌸tech is its design. There's plenty bits of ga🤡ming tech out there that just have a couple of logos slapped on the side, and that's it. This headset does have the MrBeast logos on either cups, but there's been a surprising amount of thought put into the look of this product, which is what instantly drew me to testing it out.

JLab Gaming could have very easily released an all-blue colorway, and popped some stickers on top and called it a day. Instead, this headset looks as good as the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch headsets out there and comes with a blackဣ tra⛄nsparent plastic chassis, an aesthetic that feels very inspired by the late '90s and early '00s transparent tech of the likes of the Atomic Purple Game Boy Color.

Photo by Rosalie Newcombe of the JLab Gaming x MrBeast Nightfall wired headset sitting next to a Joy-Con 2 controller.

This isn't the first bit of gaming audio tech to harken back to the Y2K era. Right now, I also have the limited edition 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds sitting on 🍒my desk, which offer up the same translucent look, but th𝓡ese come at a pretty high $159.99 price point.

It's not just the transparent design that impressed me with this Switch 2 headset. The inside fabric mesh of each foam-padded earcup features sprinkles of the YouTuber's trademark blue, and the bright-patterned headband is the cherry on top of this great-looking, low-cost headset cake.

The headband features a blue and pink pixel-patterned design throughout, which wraps around the plastic band via a velcro leather strap. While the chassis evokes the late '90s, the headband and its brigh𝄹t, vivid colors look almost '80s-like, and it still managed to be lightweight and comfortable despite its lack of any foam padding.

Bits of YouTuber merch, even of the tech variety, can sometimes prioritize the design above all else, but this wired headsetꩲ still has a great sound.

That wasn't too surprising, as I'm more than familiar with JLab's quality, as the JLab JBuds Lux ANC ♈headphones are my everyday pair of cups when listening to Spotify on the go. These don't quite match the bassy boom of my everyday pair, but Mario Kart World sounded delightful through these cheaper cups.

Originally, I still a❀ssumed this officially branded Mr Beast headset would forgo the audio quality for iಌts funky aesthetics, but I was pleasantly wrong. The 50mm audio drivers evened out the busy soundstage of Mario Kart World's freeroam mode.

Even my current favorite EP, Music To Refine To: A Remix Companion to Severance, by ODESZA, which is very bass-heavy, has zero distortion and sounded absolutely fantastic. Sure, it's not a sound you can feel deep within your bones like you'd find on the 澳🌳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, but for a $30 wired headset, it's still pretty impressive a♐nd definitely a headset I'd be happy enough to supply to a younger MrBeast fan in my life - if I happened to know one.

Photo of the JLab Gaming x MrBeast Nightfall wired gaming headset taken by Rosalie Newcombe, sitting on a Nintendo Switch 2.

I can't entirely sing its praises, as the microphone quality is exactly what you'd expect for something that cheap. Through testing, my voice sounded like I was underwater, or like I was talking through a pillow. That's not going to sound pleasant during long stretches of playing Marvel Rivals on the PC or PS5, which I do on the daily.

For a quick chat amongst friends via GameChat on the Switch 2, it'll be fine. However, I'd sooner recommend saving up and opting for alternatives like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Razer Barracuda X Chroma or the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless if having a high-quality mic is i♐mportant for you.

If you fancy yourself an inexpensive wired headset for your new Switch 2 portable gaming setup instead, and you happen to be a big Mr♌Beast fan,🌊 this Walmart exclusive headset is for you. There's no fancy wireless features to be found, but even weeks after testing, I'm still taken aback at just how great this pair looks and sounds.

If anything, it'sꦜ taught me that sometim🌜es good things do come in small, MrBeast-branded packages. Even ones that aren't of the MrFeastible chocolatey kind.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> One 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World player has figured out how to pull off iꩲnfinite tricks in a row in the🔯 air, in something of a dizzying feat.

Bubbers on Twitter had previously managed to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:chain together 770 tricks in the air, thanks to a glitch in Free Roam that lets players use a Mushroom to shoot upwards at the edge of the Mario Circuit track, and then use a Feather to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:somehow defy the laws of gravity. At the time, Bubbers said they could "absolutely find a way to d🎐o tricks infinitely in the air", and they actua🍷lly have.

In a new post on Twitter, Bubbers shares a video of them chaini𒆙ng front flips together, all while going round and round in circles on oꦕne particular spot in the air. "By hitting this spot, you lose no altitude and can spin in a vortex inside this track in an infinite loop forever," they explain. If you decide to watch, be warned that it can be a bit nauseating to look at – they've given an "epilepsy warning" themselves. And make sure you've got the sound on for some insightful live commentary from Shy Guy, too.

"I can now rest on ꦉthis," Bubbers , seemingly satisfied they managed to make good on their previous vow. I'm j🔯ust impressed that someone had the patience to confirm there is a spot in a track where gravity doesn't exist anymore.

It looks like Nintendo hasn't taken aim at the glitch then, as the latest update has "adjusted courses selected" when selecting "Random" during online play to essentially force players into one of Mario Kart World's main (and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:somewhat disliked) features, the intermission laps.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World's intermission tracks are very澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: love or hate within the racing game's community, with a ton of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:players selecting 'Random' while 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:racing online to avoid them. However, a new patch from Nintendo has made it slightly more difficult to 🅷avoid intermission races.

Nintendo has released a new update for the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 launch game, and dropped the patch notes . Among them are fixes to legitimate is💦sues like "an issue where you continually hit the wall near the finish line of Boo Cinema when transformed into Bullet Bill," and "an issue where you sometimes can't recover quickly after falling off the course in Dino Dino Jungle."

However, those fixes aren't what have the fanbase in an uproar, as Nintendo also added a note that it "adjusted courses selected in 'R♈andom' when selecting next course in a 🦩wireless VS Race."

Previously, you would be given a choice between three tracks that include intermissi♔on laps (although you'd occasionally get a🦩 non-intermission choice), and Random, which would then guarantee you a new track where you would skip the intermission and play a typical Mario Kart three-lap race. With this new update, the chances of you getting an intermission anyway have been upped.

It was by one player that this update changed it so that you would now only get a random option from the three🌟 choices available. However, it turns out they just had extremely bad RNG as they saying that you can, in fact, still get three-lap races from sel💦ecting Random, it's just that the three intermission tracks are also packed into the fold. It's unclear whether the three pre-selected tracks have a higher priority, otherwise this player would have had absolutely terrible luck.

It's also unclear why Nintendo has made this change, but given how many online lobbies were packed full of players only 𒈔selecting random, it probably wants that to stop so that people actually play one of the main features in Mario Kart World – the intermissions. However, it'd be nice if Nintendo realised this is only happening because they want to play a full three-lap run of courses – as opposed to an extremely short lap of it after a straight road – and offered a solution.

Step aside, Cow: Mario Kart World's new fan-favorite racer is Spike, a goofy guy with a haunting stare and some fantastic speedy stats.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Here in 2025, I think most of us are probably ready to admit to ourselves that Legend of Zelda protagonist Link, particularly in his modern, post-Breath of the Wild incarnation, is presenting himself with defini💙tive twink energy. Apparently Nintendo itself is not so ready to make that admission, as the username Twink Link has seemingly landed one player in custo𝓰mer service hell.

"I let everyone in my family use my 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 system and as a result, my sister uses it," Funaoe24 says in a . 🦹"Her username was recently changed 🍸to Twink Link and... console ban. I am fully prevented from accessing any Nintendo services at all on the system."

A full console ban means you can't access any online services from any account on that system. As , that means no eShop or virtual game card access, effectively cutting you off from playing any digital games you've previously purchased, unless they were installed 🥀on your console prior to the ban.

"Contacted su𓂃pport and they're working to fix it now," Funaoe24 says, as proof that it happened. "The guy over the phone was laughing at the username."

At least Nintendo customer service has a sense of humor about it, but would you really get banned for a name featuring a very lightly saucy queer culture loanword? There's a load of doubt in the comments about that, with some folks suggesting that Funaoe24 was more likely using a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:device like a MIG Flash cart༺ridge to get a ban - a claim that might be backed up by the user's post history in older 3DS and Switch 1 modding subredditꦍs.

"As someone who has been talking for hours to Nintendo support, I 🍷can assure you this is not the case and even they're not sure what happened," . "It's been escalated though so I have to wait for a Nintendo em📖ployee to get back to me but the chance I get unbanned I was told was incredibly likely as soon as they get permission to do so."

For me? I absolutely choose tܫo believe the story of the Tw♍ink Link ban is true. I want to keep my heart open to joy, and there's far more happiness to be found in the idea of a Nintendo customer service rep laughing at our twinky hero than in pretty much any alternative.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The launch of Switch 2 has finally seen the arrival of GameCube games as part of the Nintendo Switch Online service, and speedrunners of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker might just be feasting better than any of us. While this emulated version🌊 is nearly identical to the GameCube original, there are two tiny changes that have💦 busted the speedrunning scene wide open.

As explained in a new video from speedrunner Linkus7, Wind Waker has a glitch that lets you reach out-of-bounds portions of the game's dungeons. The out-of-bounds areas don't actually load any collision data, so you'll j꧋ust fall endlessly - unless you land on a chest, which for some reason does remain loaded as a solid, but invisible object.

This glitಞch is present in the original game and has been known about for years, but there's never been any real way to make use of it, because there's no way to force the rest of the level to load in after you've landed on the chest. Playing the Song of Passing, which changes the time of day, should be able to force the stage to load, but instead, it simply crashes the game.

But on Switch 2, the devs have simply disabled that crash. You can no🐼w do the out-of-bounds glitch, land on the chest, play the Song of Passing, and continue pla꧑ying the level as normal. This is specifically helpful in the Earth Temple, which Linkus7 estimates can now be completed in about two minutes.

The other change is even more basic: it's the GameCube emulator'ꦏs built-in controller remapping. Wind Waker speedrunning relies on a trick where you rapidly swim back and forth. Do it fast enough, and Link starts building up absurd levels of negative speed - so much that you can launch yourself away from the starting island without the aid of a boat.

But this trℱick is no joke, requiring you to "basically pause buffer the game, frame-perfectly, for about three [or] four minutes," Linkus7 explains. There's another way to do the trick, though: simply "flick the analog stick 20 times per second." That, of course, is "ridiculously hard and only a few people in the whole world can do it."

With the official GameCube emulator's built-in controller remapping options, however, you can simply map one of the analog stick directions to a button, hold a🦩 direction, and rapidly tap the button to shimmy back and forth and easily build up that negative speed.

Linkus7 says this trick is now something "even you could do at home, trust me." And I can pretty much confirm that - it's still not easy to do if you're unpractised, but I did manage to knock out one brief super swim in just a few minutes of trying. For proper speedr🅘unners, ꧙who can now perform the trick throughout the game, with trivial ease? It's a complete game-changer.

For now, the Wind Waker speedrunning community is splitting runs into GameCube and Switch 2 categories in an effort to encourage players to compete on the new console, build new routes, and enjoy essentia🅺lly free world records. Once the exact details of th😼e Switch 2 routes of have been worked out, the categories may be reintegrated.

The Switch 2 version of Wind Waker still isn't a perfect place to speedrun, as it's missing support for the GBA link through the Tingle Tuner, which was key to the old GameCube routes, and the fairly substantial input lag in Nintendo's GameCube emulator is likely to throw off some runners. But even with those caveats in mind, it looks like we're about to enter a ꦏwhole new era of Wind Waker speedrunning.

Many of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Zelda games of all time are playable on Switch 2.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Like a PC exhaust fan put through the wringer, I am ready to whine. The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 is out at last, and while it sadly hasn't mad🐻e the world a better place overnight – granted, what could meet that tall order apart from perhaps a large asteroid – it is a rock-solid little console. It's like a Switch, but it has a 2 on it and it's way more expensive. How do those folks at the hou🤪se of Mario think of this stuff?

To put it mildly, the Switch 2 is a better version of everything the Switch was. Stronger hardware, improved frame rates, and surprisingly good Joy-Con-enabled mouse controls make it a more comfortable third-party destination and could enable ambitious new Nintendo experiences. I say could because I 🅷am still waiting on those experiences. To put it less mildly, the Switch 2 is a lovely little console w💟ith absolutely zero games that I care about enough to drop $500.

Slim pickings

Consoles exist to provide no-fuss entry points to high-end gaming, and to play exclusive games that may or may not demonstrate what makes their consoles unique. In a sea of games that came out years ago on platforms with better hardware, exactly three exclusives stood out to me among the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 launch games: Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour,🌱 and Bravely Default Flying Fairy ꦿHD Remaster (thank you for this name, Square Enix).

Our very own Rollin Bishop's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World review agrees: this right here is more Mario Kart, bigger and quite arguably better than ever. Nintendo has done some genuinely cool stuff with the world design, expert players are cracking 🥀open the vehicle mechanics♊ like pecans in a vise, and darn it all I just ♍can't bring myself to care.

Mario Kart has always sat alongside Super Smash Bros. as the type of game that I'm not super into, but which is so fun with friends that it gets a seat at the table. I don't particularly like PvP or racing games, so Mario Kart World was always kind of doomed to a paddle-less fate up a creek, but I'm omnivorous enough to enjoy them when the situation calls for it. It's just that, to me, Mario Kart is a side dish. So when Nintendo tried to make a whole meal out of it, positioning Mario Kart World as the tentpole Switch 2 launch game, I was not wowed. There's that, and the fact that going to Nintendo 𓂃for online multiplayer is like going to Burger King for a salad.

This will sound far-fetched coming from the man underwhelmed by a new and universally acclaimed Mario Kart: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour ain't doing it for me, either. Buying a Switch 2 to play this glorified demo would be like buying a PS5 to play Astro's Playroom, I thought. Then I realized it's actually worse, because Astro's Playroom is free and – again according to reviewers (and again including Rollin, please pray for Rollin🍌) – better. So that's a wash.

Square Enix gets the win here because Bravely Default FF HD is the only game of these three that I really want to play. Bravely Default, and especially 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Bravely Default 2, are some of my favorite JRPGs of all time. They've done more for turn-based combat than almost any other game of the past decade. I'd love to revisit the first one on a big screen that doesn't hurt my rapidly aging eyes. Yet at the same time, I have tons of JRPGs to play elsewhere, and spending $450 plus peripherals and games to replay something that I beat on Nintendo DS a decade ago is the kind of thing I could never possibly explai🧔n to my conscience when it co🃏mes knocking at our next scheduled 2am review of all my regrets.

Save me, DK

Donkey Kong Bananza screenshot of DK with his purple companion Odd Rock sitting on his shoulder

It's just a fabulously mediocre launch lineup for my tastes, and such a perfect storm too. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was tragically pushed back. What I'd give to have it today (hint: about $500). And the Switch 2 is just powerful enough to play games like Cyberpunk 2077 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – – much better than Switch, but not so much better that I simply have to play them here. I was going to get a Switch 2 and use it to澳洲🍬幸运5开奖号码ꦍ历史查询: play Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, but then I found a good🃏 OLED monitor and decided to play it on PC because at this point I will t🧸ake any excuse to look at this freakin' monitor. Have you seen these things?

What I want is a meaty, colorful, single-player adventure that feels like the kind of thing only Nintendo could make. Games like that are the reason I buy Nintendo consoles, not the third-worst version of Cyberpunk. The Switch 2 just does not have that right now. 'More Mario Kart Except It's $80' ain't it. There's no Super Mario 64, no Breath of the Wild, noไ Luigi's Mansion. Hell, even the Wii U launched with a Mario game that I could fully enjoy on my own.

Right now, the bearer of my hopes is an unlikely hero: Donkey Kong. We've had a complicated relationship. I'm a fan of his early work but ol' DK is probably my least-favorite Nintendo mascot – Yoshi and Kirby absolutely clear him, sorry bud – plus I didn't click with some of his modern platformers, which had too much ice level slidiness for me. But it looks like DK has really been cooking, and by cooking I mean ripping off Tears of the Kingdom harder than he rips peels off bananas. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Donkey Kong Bananza looks like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:everythജing I wanted out of a Switch 2 launch g💫ame. It's just, you know, a few weeks late. Will it be e༒nough to finally pry $500 from my fastidious hands? Probably, because I am legitimately desperate for an excuse to buy this thing. Come on, Donkey Kongไ. Give me a reason.

Nintendo's suddenly made Switch 2 release dates for Metroid Prime 4 and Kirby Air Riders a lot easier to guess as it reveals an August launch for its Rocket League-style wheelchair basketball game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> A 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World player has pulled 🧸off what I thought would be an impossible trick 🌺and chained 770 air tricks while effortlessly gliding across the map. They claim it's a world record, but it's all thanks to a glitch, so I don't know if people will count it. It's still impressive, though.

Our daredevil, Bubbers, posted a video to Twitter showing them using a Mushroom to boost Shy Guy up the edge of a track and then using a Feathไer to somehow cut gravity and let them glide about up in the air for a ridiculously long time.

They use their newfound weightlessness to chain several hundred front flips, all while Shy Guy utters its nonsensical noises. Their flight only ends when the game de൩cides it's had enough an💫d shoots them back to the track.

"New World Record: 770 tricks in the air," Bubbers tweets triumphantly. "I can absolutely find a way to do tri🃏cks infinitely in the air. Mark my words," they add.

The glitch that makes this possible has been around for at least three days. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:We first spotted it on Reddit, with one player proclaiming, "I think I broke the game." It can be executed in different parts of the map and with differe🃏nt characters, but the Mushroom and Feather seem necessary. Try it out for yourself before Nintendo lik🥀ely patches it.

Not 𓃲everyone is as impressed as me, though. "Doesn't really count since it's a bug. Eh nice try bucko," replies one player. Bubbers 🐷responded with of their racer managing 73 air tricks in a row by bouncing off of clouds and walls. Still nice.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Hitman developer IO Interactive hints that there's a good chance 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007 First Light could be getting some live service elemꩵents of its own, following in the footsteps of World of Assassination♛.

One of the Hitman World of Assassination trilogy's biggest standouts was its elusive targets,ꦏ which are time-sensitive missions that have you attempt to assassinate a specific target in a one-and-done mission where failure means it's gone forever (well, it did,𝓡 until IO started doing reruns and introduced Elusive Target Arcade).

Speaking to (via ), IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak says: "We obviously have tons of experience now from World of Assassination, and tons of experience on how to extend a single-player experience by giving desirab🦩le free content to players.🐻"

While he says that "the first objective with 007 First Light is to come out with the best possible, most impactful jou♈rney for gamers," he adds that once that's all sorted, "you could expect that we'll be applying some of our learnings from World of Assassination to Bond."

Obviously, James Bond is a bit more fantastical than Agent 47 – who is extremely methodical even when dressed as a giant flamingo. Abrak acknowledged this will play into the future of 007 First Light, saying, "That gives us more challenges to play with… besides the things that we are able to do in Hitman, we can do more actiony things and more kinet🐠ic challenges in Bond."

Granted we haven't seen any live gameplay from 007 First Light yet, but from the gameplay snippets seen during the announcement trailer, it certainly looks like a far more action-packed game than Hitman.

We spoke with IO's 007 franchise director Jonathan Lacaille during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, who said "We are leaning a lot on what IOI does best."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World's roster of racers is massive, and although the beloved Moo Moo Meadows 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cow was easily the most popular character in the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 racing game at launch, the bovine icon has now been overthrown by Spike, who's dominating high꧒-level races onlin﷽e.

As , Spike is apparently everywhere once you've 𝔉racked up a high enough online rating in Mario Kart World. Highlighted in a viral post from one fan, who๊ shows an entire lobby of Spike players with ratings ranging from the 8,600s all the way to the 9,200s, they proclaim (translated by Automaton) "Mario Kart World has become an environment where Spike dominates the high-rating tiers."

But what does Spike have that the other racers don't? Obviously, we can't overlook the vibe he brings to the function – no matter what he's doing iꦅn Mario Kart World, he appears to be deeply c꧑oncerned, with a wide-eyed stare that makes him look like he's in a constant state of fear. Honestly, with the amount of items getting thrown around, I don't blame him.

Other than that, though, he's actually a fantastic racer when it comes to his stats. Thanks to being a very lightweight character, he has excellent acceleration, as well as handling to help you make tighter turns. In addition, he also appears to benefit from one of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World's secret stats. Those sorts of roads are very common, so the little green guy can get a huge advantage a lot of the time. In a , the fan behind the p🌌revious viral Spike post speculates that this is "the secret to his popularity."

I'd already been using Spike a fair bit in Mario Kart World just because his facial expressions amuse me, but there you have it – he's also a great shout for anyone aiming to be the very best online. We can get used to seeing him over the likes of Link and Isabelle from Zelda and Animal Crossing, anyway, as Nintendo thought that "it didn't seem necessary to us" to add any crossover characters this time.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> My 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 has been sitting in the Dbrand Killswitch case for weeks now, without issue. The ergonomic Joy-Con grips have put to bed any pins and needles sensations I frequently got with the original controllers, and as I'd expect from any contender for one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch accessories,🍌 my new Ninty machine has felt safe an𓄧d extra protected - but that experience is not universal.

Fancy a budget-friendly alternative?

Spigen Rugged Armor Switch 2 case |

Spigen's Rugged Armor Switch 2 case wraps around your ha🐠ndheld just like the Killswitch, and provides ergonimic grips to Joy-Con 2 controllers and comes with adjustable strap all for under $40.

If you wander over to the , you'll see it lit up with community posts sharing their frustrations with the new Killswitch case. The main problem is that the Joy-Con grips have reportedly made it easier for the magnetically attached controllers to disengage from the main handheld body, even with the release button left in place. That's just the start of it, as the new Switch 2 dock is seemingly also not working as expected, which is not what you want from an add-on that starts at $59.99 and gets pricier from there.

Dbrand has since owned up to the issues plaguing its new Switch 2 case, and according to the post, they are in the process of sending out Joy-Con 2 grip replacements "whether or not you're experienc🌼ing the issue," which is good news. However, even with the problem being addressed, with a spare Killswitch at hand, I felt the obligation to try and replicate the reported problems to ensure my Switch 2 will remain safe and sound.

Photo by Rosalie Newcombe of the Nintendo Switch 2 with the dbrand Killswitch case attached.

The accessory manufacturer determined, along with many customers before them, that what's happening is that when the Switch 2 is held in a certain way, the presence of the Killswitch case is causing the Joy-Con 2 to detach from the console, making it subject to damage - you know, in case you drop it when picking it up by either Joy-Con.

Typically, without any case attached, there's a small gap between the main body of the handheld and the Joy-Con 2 controller. This gap is a deliberate inclusion by Nintendo to make it harder to pop out the controller unless you're pressing in that disengage button. However, as , the lip of the Killꦉswitch Joy-Con grip gets in the way of this design and makes it easier for the gamepad to slip out at a moment🦄's notice.

During my two weeks of testing the case before, I've been fortunate enough not to experience thiꦆs issue. There's definitely more of a give with the grips attached, which is noticeable in one of the𒁏 photos below, as you can see the red edge of the inner part of the Joy-Con 2 peaking from the back of the handheld. Yet, even as someone who can be quite heavy-handed and clumsy with their pricey portable gaming tech, the controllers have never disengaged of their own volition.

Photo by Rosalie Newcombe of the side of the dbrand Killswitch Switch 2 case.

One video by r/dbrand showed the Switch 2 falling to their lap as the right Joy-Con 2 easily lifted off the handheld. Fortunately for me, no matter how many t෴imes I've tried to recreate this scenario, my precious Ninty handheld has been fine; however, I can't pretend I wasn't feeling incredibly anxious throughout. The issue I do find annoying with the grips is that they tend to slip off the Joy-Cons, even when I don't want them to, which has now changed the way I hold my Switch 2 with the case on.

The fact that I've had a better time with the Killswitch case doesn't mean I'm debunking the main problems customers are experiencing. In fact, Dbrand has stated that some people just aren't experiencing the same issues, and I think it's just been a case of pure luck that the case I wa꧟s sent for revie♊w has been fine for the most part.

Normally, I'm pretty cursed with gaming tech, and just about every brand-new Nintendo handheld as I've had in my collection has had dead pixels and rare manufacturing faults, but that seemingly hasn't extended to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch cases for the time being. With that exper🔯ience in my back pocket, though, I can entirely empathize with those who are having these issues, as when you spend a lot of cash on a new gaming accessory, you want th♕e reassurance that you got your money's worth.

Photo by Rosalie Newcombe of the Killswitch dock adapter.

Every Dbrand൩ Killswitch case also comes with a custom-built dock adapter, so you can still use docked mode even with the added bulk of the case getting in the way. This adaptor slots over the front-facing edge of the dock, producing its own new USB-C port at the front for your Switch 2 to hook up to.

However, this has also been stirring up issues. Reddit♉ user stated that the dock showed a "no signal" message when trying to get the two connected, but again, I didn't have this same experience. The setup felt a bit convoluted and not as seamless as dbrand originally set it out to be, but the moment I plugged my Switch 2 into the adapter, 🎉my JVC smart TV automatically loaded up the handheld just as intended

What caused me issues was getting the Switch 2 out of the dock adapter. Just like the Reddit user states, the Nintendo♕ Switch case "is seamless because you can easily use it one-handed" and it's not a seamless experience with the adapter. The handheld needs a bit of extra push to get it out once it is nestled into the Killswitch dock. I can do this one-handed, using my spare fingers to push down on the dock and my finger and thumb to get it out, but it's a tedious process.

Photo by Rosalie Newcombe of the dbrand Killswitch case and its dock adapter.

If you're waiting to find out from me if I'd still recommend the dbrand Killswitch Switch 2 case, the answer is a bit more complicated than a simple yes. I've been a fan of dbrand's cases ever since I first got my hands on the Killswitch for my 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Deck OLED, and it's never left my Valve machine since. It's up there with the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Steam Deck accessories for me p🐓ersonally, and the Switch 2 Killswitch initially impressed me a♕lmost as much.

In the last few weeks of testing, it's added an extra level of comfort to playing Mario Kart World in handheld mode, and I love the added details of it providing room to use the included kickstand, or letting you use the Joy-Con controllers even if they're detached. However, while you can still grab the Switch 💟2 Killswitch starting for , you're better off waiting for July 10, 2025, when there will be a new update on the situation from dbrand.

In the interim, whatever you think of the brand, they exclaimed they are "100% committed" to providing replacement Joy-Con grips, ones I can only hope won't end up with your Ninty handheld falling on your lap or worse, 🐟the floor. For now, my Killswitch will remain attacওhed to my Switch 2, but I can't pretend that this experience hasn't made me extremely cautious of how I pick up my pricey Nintendo tech from now on.

They're coming to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 in the form of contracts🉐 you can find at bounty boards, and they remind the creative director of the good ol' days of Borderlands🧸 1.

"Will the random occurring events/quests be never ending?" one fan asks Borderlands 4 creative director Graeme Timmins on Twitter. "Yes, contracts foꦍund at bounty boards around Kairos will always provi🐟de contracts to pick up and engage," he replies.

Apart from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Skyrim's Thieves Guild jobs, I'm not a big fan of radiant 🎀quests, but long-time fans of the Borderlands franchise may take a shine to these contracts because Timmins adds, "They remind me of the simpler missions from [Borderlands 1]. These are great to have as you'll often complete them when doing other activities naturally (killing enemies for example)."

I suppose if your contract is to go out and kill someone, then🃏 you do a story mission that sends you into an area where you subsequently turn a bunch of enemies into lead holders, you'll end up completing the contracts purely by chance. That way you get their rewards without feeling like you're grinding them.

One fan tweets that "simple pick-up-and-play side activities" are what the Borderlands series has been missing, and Timmins has an explanation for where they'v🌟e gone.

"As simple as the BL1 missions tended to be, they were satisfying to complete in groups," Timmins writes. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 will have a photo mode after all - it's just not coming until a post-launch update. After the game's apparent lack of photo mode started making the roun♏ds on social media, the devs at Gearbox have come forward to confirm it's coming.

"Hey guys, wanted to confirm that Photo Mode will be coming to Borderlands 4," creative director Graeme Timmins says in . "It'🐭ll be a feature that we add in an update after the game launches." The official Gearbox account has reiterated the same message.

It's unclear exactly where the idea that the game wouldn't have photo mode came from, but it became a talking point among the fandom on social media ♌this week. For , it's a critical tool for slowing down and zooming in on your damage numbers - though Gearbox says there will be better ways to evaluate your DPS - and the implication it might be missing was enough to get to trying to mod the feature in.

In the end, mods won't be necessary after all. But why is photo mode getting delayed from the🌊 game's initial launch? "I had us prioritize polishing some other elements, more core to the moment-to-moment experience," Timmins says in a . "We've always planned for it, and had it tasked up, we just needed to spend a bit more time on things that would directly impact QoL of playing the game."

Borderlands 4 doesn't have a minimap, but it's getting an optional combat radar after all following feedback from "the real fans who sincerely want the best for the game."

PowerA Slim Case for Nintendo Switch 2 |
The PowerA Slim Case features a fairly sturdy hard shell design, with plenty of space for your game cards. It drop💯s the accessory pouch commonly found on these clamshell models, though that means no over-stuffing and no harmful zips hitting your screen.

UK:

I've been using the PowerA Slim Case with my 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 for the last couple of weeks, 💜and I almost caught myself from saying it had it all. In truth, it's given me everything I've needed as I've travelled around with my shiny new handheld - but some may note that lack of one feature and turn around.

There's no accessory pouch in here, a mainstay of previous generation🍬 Nintendo Switc🉐h cases. I couldn't be happier.

Before the Switch 2 came along I was using the TomToc Slim for my OLED model. That's about as barebones as the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch cases get, prioritizing a slim fit and thumbstick protection instead of extra storage. I loved it - I've always felt nervous about 🌞stacking Joy-Con and cables into the top half of a Switch clamshell and have warned others off using these mesh꧋ pouches in the way marketing materials show them off.

I've stuffed the advertised accessories inside of a Nintendo Switch case exactly once, and immediately unzipped it and removed everything. These clamshells are simply too skinny to house full controllers without putting worrying amounts of pressure on the screen itself when zipped up. Sure, most cases with these pockets also fit a screen cover - but that's protecting your panel from lighter scratches. It's not going to make much of a difference if a w🐼hole controller is slammed into it.

The PowerA Slim Case does ﷽away with the whole thing. Instead of a zipper awkwardly knocking against the softer plastic of your Switch 2, everything is locked sturdily into place. You're still ꦕgetting space for ten game cards, and a nifty fold-out stand, but that top panel is beautifully bare.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> One of the lower-key announcements at Nintendo's big Switch 2 reveal was Drag x Drive, a Rocket League-style take on the real-life sport of wheelchair basketball. The publisher has revealed the release date for this 3v3 multiplayer title in yet another low-key Nintendo Today app post, and the August release plan makes the rest of the release dates for the publisher's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch 2 games in 2025 a whole lot easier to guess.

Drag x Drive launches on August 14, 2025, and it'll be an eShop exclusive with no physical version. Hopefully, that means this will be a lower-priced title, though we've got no confirmation on pricing just yet. With a muted, but tentatively positive response to Drag x Drive at its reveal, I imagine Nintendo wou♔ld be keen to keep the barrier to entry quite low.

If you've ever taken a close look at Nintendo's first-party output in the past few years, you'll know that the company releases its games on a more or less monthly cadence. The company previously announced that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Donkey Kong Bananza is coming in July, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends: Z-A is coming in October.

With Drag x Drive now locked in for August, there are only three months unaccounted for Nintendo in 2025. And, coincidentally, Nintendo happens to have three games which could launch in each of those months - 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metroid Prime 4 and Kirby Air Riders, both of which are confirmed for 2025, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, which is confirmed for "this w꧑inter."

Since we've seen a fair bit of Metroid Prime 4 gamepl🎃ay at this point and no more than a CG trailer for Kirby Air Riders, it's fair to guess that Samus will be returning a bit sooner than Kirby. That'd make an educated guess for Nintendo's 2025 lineup look something like this.

 • July 17 - Donkey Kong Bananza
 • August 14 - Drag x Drive
 • September - Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
 • October 16 - Pokemon Legends: Z-A
 • November - Kirby Air Riders
 • December - Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

I'll reiterate that those dates are purely speculative, but I'd just ab🌼out be willing to stake money on that lineup - with the exception of Hyrule Warriors, which is probably more likely to slip to January than launch in December, a month Nintendo 🌠historically avoids launching games in. And hey, early 2026 still counts as "this winter."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> A big part of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 appeal is its slick depiction of present day Tokyo – but most of my favorite games in the series are anything but modern. Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army takes the Shin Megami Tensei series – from which Persona comes from – far into the past instead. In so doing, it feels like a really fresh take on the series' devil summoning action. And, thanks🐻 to some huge enhancements, this 2006 PS2-era action RPG is great to play today.

Even some of the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series' sci-fi concepts are often tinged by history. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Shin Megami Tensei 4, one of my favorite RPGs ever made, stars a party of samurai who must contend with a futuristic demon world. Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers may be set in a networked city of tomorrow, but its '90s vision of a tactile cyberpunk-like future still feels nostalgic to me. Raidou Remastered, a remake of Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless A꧃rmy, leans into these conඣcepts by playing it a lot straighter, set in the 1930s Taisho era.

Making history

Standing outside the Narumi Detective Agency in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Well, as straight as you can play the 1930s Taisho era considering it doesn't exist (it was 1912–1926 in real life). Raidou Remastered takes place in a fictionalized, extended version of the era that allows the developer to exaggerate t🐼he time period's key elements – the rebalancing of political and military powers, encroaching western sensibilities, and industrialization. I've always wanted to see more Persona and Shin Megami Tensei games embrace historical settings – especially as loads o💦f demon designs play with old myths and legends. The Raidou duology has been an anomaly in this regard, but boy does it fit the bill.

Set in Tokyo, you play as Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, the latest in a long line to inherit the title as a spiritual protector of the people, battling rampaging demons while allying with those who can keep the peace. It also provides an excuse to blend in historical figures even when it might not make sense, such as Grigori Rasputin, a rival devil summoner who's up to no good and pulli✱ng the strings on a conspi🍬racy that pulls Raidou in. For anyone who loved the Mayan and WW2 conspiracies towards the end of Persona 2, you'll love the approach here – even if it's much less abrasive.

You really do f𒅌eel like a young detective living on the edge of the paranormal realm.

Even in this fictionalized historical setting, the demon world is hidden from humans, so in order to blend in Raidou joins a detective agency that deals with fringe cases. Which also means beyond each main 'episode' you play through as you unravel the grander mystery at large, you've ample excuse to poke around every nook and cranny of each explorable district༺ of Tokyo, getting to know the spaces, chatting with locals, and helping them out with side cases. You really do feel like a young detective living on tღhe edge of the paranormal realm.

Grigori Rasputin wields a matryoshka in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Sometimes those side activities are as simple as having a strong d🐽emon hoist an old man struggling to cross the road because of tram and motorcar traffic across it. Other times that means diving into abyssal rifts to slice and dice deadly demons alongside two of your own devilish allies in real-time combat. T♏hese vibes were great in the original release, and while the visuals are perhaps overly clean in Remastered, it's easier to soak in the details of the historical setting here thanks to a reduction in grindfest busy work.

A remaster by name, Raidou Remastered has so many tweaks that it feels like calling it that is underselling it – many aspects of the game being completely remade, giving a different feel. For instance, random battles are out, with wandering demons now confined to the dark world versions of Tokyo. You can swap between these two versions as you go, meaning like in Persona you can enjoy ex🌄ploring the city by just running around, while delving into the demon-filled version to clear these slightly twisted areas like bite-size dungeons.

Battle in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

The real-time action is a little easier too, thanks to retrofitting Raidou's dual-summoning powers from the PS2 sequel into this first game. Combat is also so much slicker, a new camera system making you feel like you're really in the middle of scraps with demons – though they still take place in fairly basic square arenas – and moves feeling a lot more responsive. Aiming with Raidou's gun, useful for catching enemies off guard, quickly zooms in for an over-the-shoulder perspective. I don't think I'd ever want Atlus to drop turn-based altogether (our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metaphor ReFantazio review is testament to that), but I'd love fo🧜r more SMT side games to explore other methods of battling like this.

With more moves in combat, more demons, and quality-of-life perks like free healing from allies in the ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚdark world and fast-travel to the Goumaden for adjusting your demonic party – Raidou Remastered is definitely easier. But, for the most part, being able to choose the amount of grinding you want to do rather than slogging back and forth means you can spend more time appreciating what makes Raidou Remastered really unique – the excellent setting, both through its environments and the people who live there.

Local hero

Talking to an NPC in Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army with the option to Cool Down

Both you and your demon🌳s are able to physically interact with the world before you.

I'm still spending a lot🦩 of time in each episode combing back through areas I've already explored to keep up with the NPCs whose storylines progress, using my demon powers to help them out or to learn more about the world – some demons, for instance, can 'fire up' NPCs; or can even read minds. It all contributes to the feeling of the 1930s being more than just a themed backdrop – both you and your demons are able to physically interact with the world before you.

Knowing I'm free to knock about this version of the Taisho period uninhibited really allows me to revel in the details this time around, and I already feel like I'm getting more out of it than my last attempt to get through the original because of it. While the grime of the 2006 release does have a lot of atmosphere, I even quite like the smooth graphics here – these renditions of Kazuma Kaneko's iconic character designs 🐽look stunning to behold with how they're rendered here (he's worked on the series since Megami Tensei 2, including the very first Persona game).

While I'd still like for the Shin Megami Tensei to return to the idea of doing a historically-set game rather than the modern day – I'd love a Persona game set in the '90s, or for more pseudo-historical clashing in the next SMT – finally revisiting Kuzunoha's adventures through Raidou Remastered has been the perfect game to scratch that itch. It does leave me wanting more, I yearn fo𒐪r the sheer quantity of experimental SMT games released in the '00s, but for now this is a trip back to the past I didn't know I needed.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Sou𒀰lless Army was played on PC, with a code provided by the pu🅰blisher.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> A player called Icy-ConcentrationC has found a fun way to float around the Mario Circuit map in Free Roam as if gravity💃 forgot to show up for work. Well, it wasn't 𝓰so much flying in a dramatic, 'Houston, we have lift off' sense, but more like gliding in mid-air. Slow, weird, but definitely fun.

Icy-ConcentrationC used the rewind featur🐟e to line up a ramp jump off one of the course's safety barriers and : "I think I broke the game." What's funnier is that Rosalina, the character they chose♈ to use, does actually fly/hover in Mario lore, but not exactly to this extent.

The method itself is surprisingly technical. It involves combining a mushroom boost across the dirt trap, followed by a jump off the barrier, and topped with a feather jump. All🌳 timed together, it basically disables gravity for a hot second, and lets you float in slow-motion. The original clip was Rosalina in a pipe-framed kart, so other players are scrambling to test other characters, rꦓamps, and boosters.

Re🀅ddit is loving it, too. One user says it's "probably the funniest glitch to date," and another jokes, "Roads? Where we're going, we don't n꧟eed roads."

As of right now, there has been no patch, and with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World fresh out, this may remain a quirky sandbox glitch for a while. It absolutely captures the open-world spirit that makes free-roam games fun. Is iꦓt useful in races? Nah. But the kind of bizarre oddity that reminds us that even a frontline, polished Nintendo racer can surprise us in the weirdest ways.

So if you fancy a little low-g🙈ravity sightseeing, grab a mushroom, mash some air tricks, and send that kart skyward while you still can. Just don't get too attached to flight, you'll plummet eventually. It's part of the fun.

Mario Kart World doesn't feature Nintendo icons from Zelda and Animal Crossing because its developers say "it didn't seem necessary to us, given everything we could already do with Mario."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Out of all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 launch games, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:CD Projekt Red's port of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is perhaps the most impressive feat on the platform. I started playing the game on PS5 Pro earlier this year, and continuing my playthrough on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 has really set in stone how much of an uncompromised version it is. CD Projekt Re♚d has , talking🐭 about how the studio made the Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk a reality.

One of the defining features of Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 is how it uses the console hardware to its advantage. You have access to the touch screen for menu navigation, gyro and mouse controls for more precise aiming, and full-blown motion controls; so you can pretend we lived in a universe where Cyberpunk came out for the Wii when you🗹 waggle to swing a melee weapon or bring a JoyCon up to your face to heal.

CD Projekt gameplay technical design expert Fil🏅ip Downar said, "Th🦹e philosophy was to do it but not force it." He adds, "We really wanted to add these features, but decided we would only do so if it was genuinely good, if it actually added to the experience. We didn’t want to include something as an afterthought."

However, when it came to the motion controls, Downar explained it wa🎉s somewhat of a challenge, "We had to create patterns that matched players’ expectations — for a system that no one had used yet!" He added that making sure the motion inputs didn't get too overwhelming was a priority however, "we found that players get confused if there are too many… different players have unique interpretations of mechanics, and have different means of movement, are playing in different spaces, and so on, getting too granular isn’t effective."

And while I'm sure hearing "motion controls" conjures up the word "gimmick" in your mind, Downar was also unsure at first. "I was really, really reserved about the feature," he says, "I usually don’t love motion controls in games." However, after the game released, Downar now says it's his favourite new m🎀echanic: "When actually playing, kind of by accident, I learned that I’m able to do things in Cyberpunkꦰ 2077 that are impossible to do without."

Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 delayed so CD Projekt can "make sure we're happy with it" as it aims for a similar patch to 2.2.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gearbox's Borderlands series has always been chock-full of violence and crass writing filled to the brim with cringey humor and pop culture references, and from the looks of things the series is set to continue down that path. The ESRB has released and revealed some of the more grisly details about the game, which has unsurprisingly given it a "Mature" rating for "Blood and Gore", "Intense Violence", "Sexꦅual Themes", and "Strong Language."

This time 𒆙around Gearbox is upping the ante on the gore effects, as the description notes "enemies bursting into chunks of gore and/or losing limbs," "creatures exploding into large blood-splatter effects," "a character snapping their own neck," and "characters stabbed or impaled." Plus the game's environments will be littered with "corpses, large bloodstains, and severed limbs."

And if you 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:didn't like Borderlands humour before, don't hold your breath, as the ESRB has also revealed a gauntlet of sex jokes that 14 year olds and Randy Pitchford are going to find funny, such as "Start a weird robot sex commune"; 𒊎"New position! Heh. Like sex"; "Light as a feather, stiff as a whore"; "Have you seen my penis strap?" With sex toys also littering part of the world.

And of course, you have to have the pop culture references, with what seems to be a take on the iconic ending of the underrated comedy classic Clue, "…I'm gonna go home and have sex with my wife." Worst of all, just 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:like with Death Stranding 2, ESRB has revealed "The 💛word “f📖**k” appears in the game."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> We've had to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:wait years to play Final Fantasy Ta༒ctics on modern platforms, though the wait for ꩲanother strategy RPG like it might not be as long if the upcoming remaster, The Ivalice Chronicles, does w♍ell.

Speaking to , director Kazutoyo Maehiro tackles a q𓄧uestion over whether Final๊ Fantasy could return to the Tactics format one day – essentially, an RPG with added strategy elements like OG director Yasumi Matsuno's other works like Tactics Ogre. The answer is a cautious yes, with obvious caveats.

"Wꦬhile we cannot make any promises about the future, if this title is successful, it will not only demonstrate that there’s interest from gamers, but also the viability [of tactical games] as a business," Maeh🐭iro says. "Such success will surely pave the way for the release of new tactics titles that follow The Ivalice Chronicles. We sincerely hope that this happens."

You and I both.

The other part of the question Maehiro grapples with is ho🌊w Final Fantasy Tactics might land with newer fans of the series who aren't aware of the original. Tꦉhe short answer is, as ever, somewhat of an unknown; however, enough modernizing is going on to make the experience as smooth a ride as possible. That, and word of mouth from avid fans of the original can't hurt.

"We believe the countless strengths of the original game – such as the robust job system offering unmatched customization and charac🌄ter progression, and the timeless story of epic fantasy that weave in political themes – co♛nvey a new side of Final Fantasy today, more than ever," he explains. "We couldn't be happier if this game reinvigorates that feeling within you that games are, indeed, fun to play."

Final Fantasy Tactics – The I🐲valice Chronicles is out September 30, 2025.

OG Final Fantasy Tactics director "might" have included War of the Lions' added content if he were leading the strategy RPG remaster, but backs the controversial call not to.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The face of Max Payne says he became so "self-conscious" after the game's release th🥃at he changed his real-life look so he'd get less attention.

In an interview with Edge, Sam Lake, who wrote Mꦯax Payne as well as providing its titular character's memorable face explained that his role as face model began in his university days. As part of the Helsinki University Roleplaying Game Association, he says it was kind of a given that he would "end up buying decorative swords and posing with them and taking photos."

Those photos were then augmented by❀ Lake's "very limited PhotoShop skills," before becoming cove🧜r art for the TTRPG club's magazine, as well as "some roleplaying games they were publishing."

So when it came to making Max👍 Payne, which Lake had pitchꦅed with a comic book art style, he brought in his RPG photos as reference material. "And because I was posing in all of those reference photos, everybody just kind of went, 'Are you going to pose in the comic book as well?' And I was like 'sure'."

O♎riginally, the photos were only intended as reference material, but Lake says that Remedy co-founder Petri Jarvilehto then pitched the idea of using photos for the game's background textures. That then spilled into using photos for character art, and then simply using the photos Remedy already had, and applying Photoshop filters to them. "And so the decision for me to pose as Max happened in very different circumstances, and just evolved naturally."

Fortunately for Lake and his colleagues, they "made a 🦂lot of money" with Max Payne. Unfortunately for Lake himself, however, being the literal face of such a popular game came with a degree of attention that he might not have expected. After release, he says, "I started feeling self-conscious, to the point where I cha🐬nged my hairstyle completely, and didn't want people to make that connection."

In the years since, however, I'd suggest Lake has become a little more comfortable with having his face plastered all over his games. His role in Alan Wake 2 combines a major in-game character with live-action performances that saw him dancing on stage at The Game Awards, suggesting hꦡe♌'s no longer too worried about getting recognized.

We're still waiting on the Max Payne 1+2 remakes, so maybe we're in for a new Sam Lake hairstyle.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Over two weeks have passed since both the Switch 2 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World released, but not everyone is playing the racing game series' new title – in fact, the arrival of a Mario Kart 64 port for PC might have fans excited to try Nintendo's beloved 1996 gem instead.

That's right, you can warp back to simpler🌺 times and play Mario Kart 64 again, thanks to a PC port made possible by fans reverse-engineering the original game. SpaghettiKart, as it's been hilariously dubbed by its developers, is now available to download and try out via – and no, there's no risk of Nintendo taking it down. That's because the "many-year" project, as developers describe it, doesn't actually borrow any code from the Ninte♎ndo 64 game.

Rather than utilizing Nintendo's code, the creators behind SpaghettiKart 📖have used their own clean code. That's why they were able to publicly release the unofficial port. Important to also note, however, is that SpaghettiKart doesn't feature any of Mario Kart 64's game assets, so if you're interested in giving it a go yourself, you'll have to generate the O2R from a ROM (US copies only) to get the port up and running. Thankfully, the GitHub page details how.

SpaghettiKart's arrival comes just over a month after 🎃澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the classi🥂c racer was fully decompiled, following in the footsteps of other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:retro games, including 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ocarina of Time and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Mario 64. It's certainly a great time to be a Nintendo stan, between all the playe🔥r-led PC ports and, of course, the Switch 2. The work on SpaghettiKart isn't over yet, either, as its developers state thatꦡ the project is very much a "work-in-progress" still.

"This project is still a work-in-progress and has a rare crash for a small minority of users," the creators admit in their debut for the Mario Kart 64 port. "Custom track import works; however, all features are not yet supported." It's exciting to think that the future holds fixes and potentially more content as the mentioned features are implemented, but for now, it looks like there's plenty of nostalgic goodness to enjoy.

Where to buy Nintendo Switch 2

If you're asking where to buy the Nintendo Switch 2 this week, today looks like an exciting one. Both Walmart and Antonline are confirmed to have 🦩stock later today. US Shoppers should look o🃏ut at Antonline at 1.30pm ET, or head to Walmart at 2pm if they're a Walmart+ subscriber. In the UK, there are a few retailers offering backorders right now, so there's definitely stock out there that's up for grabs. We're here to help you find it.

Ninty's new handheld has been flying off the shelves since launch. While release day did ofཧfer up a massive wave of new supplies, things have been a little haphazard in the weeks that followed. Multiple retailers have been running reliable Switch 2 restocks in the UK over the course of the last week, but US stock has been dry for some time now.

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 is now officially one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming handhelds we've tested so far, so it makes sense that the device is in hot demand. I've been tracking🤡 stock on hard-to-find gaming hardware for over five years now. I know which retailers to check first, the signs that new supplies are on their way, and how to make the most of each drop. You'll find all my latest updates on the biggest stores just below, and live Nintendo Switch 2 stock tracking further down the page.

Where to buy Nintendo Switch 2 in the US

Walmart |
Finally, some movement from Walmart. Plus members will have early access to this retailer's next Nintendo Switch 2 restock today on June 25. This access applies to both the Mario Kart World bundle and solo console. Subscribers can have at this drop o🐻ne hour be♋fore general sale, logging on from 9pm ET.

Antonline |
Antonline is confirmed to have stock at 1.30pm ET today, so head over there to check out some bundles, and be on the ball at 1.30 to try and secure your new console.

Target |
Target has had its fair share of stock, but things have been quiet for a long t💞ime. Still, this is one of the few retailers that stജill looks like it will take online orders.

GameStop |
GameStop made a big song and dance about Switch 2 stock last week, but it looks like it🏅 ▨was in-store only. The listing page still sends shoppers to a store locator, so it's likely this one's offline for now.

Best Buy |
Best Buy was previously reserving Nintendo Switch 2 stock for physical stores, but it looks like that might be changing. The website now states the handheld is simply 'out of s🐓tock,' which could mean more online drops are on the way.

Nintendo Store |
Nintendo US hasn't been as forthcoming as its UK site in online⭕ restocks. While I've seen several across the pond, this official store has been quiet in the US.

Amazon |
Amazon did have a Nintendo Switch 2 stock listing ♊live on its site las𓂃t week after months of silence. That listing is , but it's worth keeping an eye on.

Newegg |
Neweg✨g remains out of stock, and has thankfully removed price-inflated listings from its m🌼arketplace now.

Where to buy Nintendo Switch 2 in the UK

✅ Ebuyer |
Ebuyer has the Mario Kart World bundle on the digital shelves this wee💫k, and that makes it one of the only places in the UK you can reliably purchase a Switch 2 today. Admittedly, you'll have to wait a bit for delivery as it won't get to your door until aཧt least July 30.

✅ ShopTo |
ShopTo has been taking backorders for the N💟intendo Switch 2 for some time now, though actual delivery times are still yet to be confirmed.

The Game Collection |
The Game 💧Collection had a solid bundle offering earlier in the day, but it's since run out of stock. This was a £600 monster bundle that got you lots of extra goodies to kickstart your Switch 2 set𝓀up, but hopefully, we'll see some more MSRP stock soon for those who are on a tight budget.

Nintendo Store |
The UK𝐆 Nintendo Store had stock to share yesterday, but it's since run clean out. We'll keep an eye out for more o▨pportunities straight from the horse's mouth.

EE |
EE just ended a solid run of offering Nintendo Switch 2 stock to its monthly mobile members, though it looks like even those contract prices have been swept 𒁃off the sh﷽elves now.

Amazon |
Amazon🦩 had a good end to last week, with multiple Nintendo Switch 2 restocks on the go. This is one to watch over the next few days.

Currys |
Currys had loads of bundles on the shelves late last week, which you can still see listed, but it's all qui🥂et at the UK retailer for now in terms of supply.

Very |
Very hasn't s𝔍een too much action recently, but that may push it to the top of your priority list. I've noticed it takes around five days for this retailer to restock.

Argos |
Argos offered൩ another larger Nintendo Switch 2 stock drop late last week, in a flurry of activity. This one takes a little longer to generate more supplies, though.

Live updates

Another week of stock hunting begins

The UK saw a flurry of activity towards the end of last week, with a number of Nintendo Switch 2 restocks dropping all across the web. Unfortunately, the US 🍷hasn't been so lucky. Things remain quiet with no reliable restock cadence for nearly three weeks after the official launch⛎. Something's gotta budge at some point, which is why I'm following all the biggest retailers live.

Walmart Plus members will have early access to Wednesday's Switch 2 restock

Walmart has finally broken its Switch 2 silence, with banners appearing ✃on listing pages for 🍨both the Mario Kart World bundle and the individual handheld advertising another round of restocks on June 25. That's this Wednesday, and Plus members can have at this latest round one hour before everyone else.

Considering the s💯peed at which the Nintendo Switch 2 sells out, that hour is going to matter.

Nintendo still has stock in the UK

Super Mario Galaxy

Nintendo is still holding firm with its own Switch 2 stock in the UK, with both the Mario Kart 💧World bundle and indi🐬vidual console still available to order from the brand's own store. That's impressive considering the only other retailers with availability are on backorder right now.

Watch out for the Walmart Plus free trial

Walmart is offering early access on its Nintendo Switch 2 stock for its Plus members, and there also just so happens to be a free trial on offer. Watch out, though. Previous high-profile exclusive drops have only been for paying Walmart Plus members. The store has excluded anyone currently on a free trial from the🃏se restocks in the past.

Don't expect too much from Argos any time soon

Argos has a major Nintendo Switch 2 restock on Friday, which means I wouldn't keep it at the front of your mind for a while. It takes a few days for each retailer to r𓂃ebuild its stock levels and this store seems to take a little lo♍nger. For now, I'd prioritize Nintendo, Amazon, and Currys in the UK.

In the US? Keep an eye on Antonline

Antonlᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚine is one of the few US retailers I've seen actively offering Nintendo Switch 2 stock for more than a couple of hours at a time and with any kinꦇd of returning frequency. These are higher-priced bundles, yes. The cheapest I saw during the retailer's most recent restock was $609.99. Nothing is over MSRP, though, you're simply buying additional games and accessories to bump up that price.

That's why these stock drops stick around for longer. The ꧅higher prices dissuade resellers and keep the goods for the players actually hunting down their own stock.

Best Buy might be back online for its next restock

Best Buy was limiting its Nintendo Switch 2 stock to its physical retail stores a couple of w🎉eeks ago, but the website is no longer sending custo🍸mers to a store locator. That means there could well be more online restocks heading our way.

Amazon is making some moves

Amazon went live with a short and sweet Ninten🐼do Switch 2 restock earlier today, and those units have been reappearing fairly infrequently ꧒over the course of the day. It's well worth keeping an eye on this site in the UK, especially if you don't want to buy direct from Nintendo.

Nintendo UK still has some Switch 2 stock available

If you'd rather get your Switch 2 straight from the source - you can!
The UK Nintendo website is sold out of Mario Kart World bundles, but the standard Switch 2 handheld is still available to purchase for its £395.9⭕9 MSRP right this very moment.

Nintendo Switch 2 |

Want a Switch 2 bundle? Check out TheGameCollection

Just like last week, those in the UK hunting for a Switch 2 hav⭕e plenty of options today, which now inclu🦩des retailer TheGameCollection.

The UK site has an exclusive bundle available right now for £609.95, which includes the Mario Kart World Switch 2 bundle with a digital code of the game, the officia𒊎l Switch 2 came🐻ra, Cyberpunk 2077 Switch 2 Edition, a 256GB microSD Express Card, and the STEALTH Premium Travel Kit.

ShopTo backorders still going strong

UK retailer ShopTo still has the standard Switch 2 and the Mario Kart World bundle available to backorder today, but there's one big caveat. We still don't know exactly when you'd receive your new Ninty handhelౠd if yoꦦu ordered one, which is a bit of a bummer. If you'd still prefer to order one now and don't mind the wait, I'm sure ShopTo is bound to reveal delivery date estimates soon.

Sorry US Switch 2 hunters, it's still quiet today

I was going to do a US Switch 2 stock check-in to give all of you based across the pond some updates as to where you can grab yours, but there's not a lot to say. There hasn't been any major stock drops today so far. I'd recommend you pop into your local GameStop if you're desperate to find Ninty's newest handheld instead.

That doesn't mean it's all doom and gloom. The second any major US retailer decides to unleash more Switch 2 handhelds🔴 into the world, I'll be here to let you know.

UK Switch 2 stock check-in

Finding a Switch 2 in the UK is a lot easier than in the US today. As of typing, retailers like ShopTo have both the stܫandard console and Mario Kart World bundle available to backorder, Ebuyer has some handhelds in stock with delivery planned for July 30, and there's an exclusive bundle available at TheGameCollection too.

Even Nintendo has some Switch 2 consoles availa🧸ble on the Nintendo UK online store, thou🃏gh the Mario Kart World bundles are sold out for now.

No Switch 2 drops from Amazon UK so far

Amazon hasn't unloaded any Switch 2 handhelds yet ♈today, but that could change. Yest💛erday, the gargantuan retailer dropped some new stock and it could be found throughout most of the day, which was a great way to start the week. It's very likely today could follow suit, and I'll be here to update you if and when it does.

Ebuyer Switch 2 stock still set for July 30

Ebuyer is one of the many online stores in the UK that still have some Switch 2 stock available to purchase today, but there's still a big caveat with this site. The retailer has the Mario Kart World bundle in stock for its £429.99 MSRP, but they aren't expecting stock to actually come in until July 30. While you can secure your new Ninty handheld, you'll have to wait until the end of next month to actually get it.

At least by that point, you can always pick up Donkey Kong Bananza too, as that drops days before on July 1🐷7, 2025.

Antonline is still worth keeping an eye on in the US

If you're curious as to what US retailers you should be keeping an extra watchful eye on this week when it comes to Switch 2 stock, Antonline should be up there. This wee♍k, the brand has been offering up stock of the new handheld for more than a couple of hours at a time, and as of today, still has it marked as "coming soon" rather than "out of stock" which is a nice sight to behold.

The stock is has had available is those exclusive and pricier bundles, which isn't i🍬deal. However, their higher price points also help keep away hoards of buyers, making it easier grab one for yourself when stock go🐓es up. When that time comes again, I'll be here to let you know as soon as possible.

Switch 2 Walmart restock is on its way

A newꦆ Nintendo Switch 2 stock 𝔉drop is on the cards for Walmart tomorrow (June 25, 2025) for both the standard console and the Mario Kart World bundle. Walmart+ members will have the chance to grab one an hour earlier than everyone else at 9PM ET.

There's no official time given 🌠for when the leftover stock will be available for everyone else. However, if you're in the US, I recommend keeping a tab open for W📖almart this Wednesday from 9PM ET onwards just to be safe.

Target has some Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundles in stock, if you're lucky

US retailer might have some Switch 2 handheld stock going, but♛ it all depends on where you're based. While 'P💜ickup' and 'Shipping' are currently listed as unavailable on the handheld's product page, you can sign in with your Target account to see if any stock is available to be delivered to your address.

I also recommend walking into your local Target store to check if they have 𒅌any S🦹witch 2 handhelds available in-store, as there's always a chance.

There's still a chance to grab a Switch 2 at Nintendo UK

The UK Nintendo online store is out of stock of the Mario Kart World bundles, but you can still pick up the standard Switch 2 console instead.

You will need to be logged into your Nintendo Account to get access to the store, but you won🍨't need to have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership anymore to buy one. Plus, you can always buy Mario Kart World separately too, so you don't miss out on the Mushroom Kingdom karting action.

Nintendo Switch 2 |

PSA - Don't give into US Switch 2 resellers

If you hop on Walmart right now, you'll find some Switch 2 stock available at the US retailer, even though it's tomorrow (Wednesday, June 25) that the next wave of handhelds are confirmed to go up on the site. These are being sold by third-party sellers, and not by Walmart, which is why their prices are a lot higher than the $450 and $499.99 MSRP of the standard and Mario Kart World bundle version𝓰s.

With stock so low in the US, I get the appeal of giving in to these extortionate prices, but please ignore them and wait for proper restocks instead. As much as I adore my Switch 2, it's not worth paying upwards of $672 for the consol꧒e alone. Plus, there's an official restock planned tomorrow🌄 at Walmart, and you can always check in with us to try and track down a Switch 2 at its normal price point throughout the week.

UK Switch 2 stock check-in

It's that time again, to check in with all the popular UK retailers and see who actually has any of Ninty's handhelds available right now. Like last week, it's not that hard to get a hold of the Switch 2 here across the pond if you know wher🦂e to loඣok.

The official Nintendo UK online store still has some standard Switch 2 handhelds in stℱock, and you can backorder the haᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚndheld at ShopTo, too. Ebuyer is accepting Switch 2 orders right now also, but they aren't expecting stock to actually come in until July 30. Meanwhile, TheGameCollection still has its £609.95 bundle available, which comes with extras like the official Switch 2 camera and the STEALTH Premium Travel Kit.

US Switch 2 Stock Check-In

There haven't been any Switch 2 stock drops today in the US, but things are looking up. Walmart has confirmed it's planning a big Switch 2 restock tomorrow (June 25) for Walmart+🦄 members at 9PM ET.

The US retailer will have both the standard handheld and the Mario Kart World bundle available, but you will need to be an active Walmart+ member in order for the 𓃲chance to grab one.

TheGameCollection's Switch 2 bundle is still hanging on

UK retailꩵers like John Lewis had their S🃏witch 2 stock available for only a few seconds before it was all bought up today, but TheGameCollection still has plenty of its Switch 2 bundle to go around. That's probably because its £609.95 might be a bit off-putting for those who'd prefer to get the Ninty handheld on its own for its usual £395.99 price point.

Of course, for over £600 you aren't just getting the handheld on its own, you're actually getting the Mario Kart World bundle and a ton of other accessories. These kinds of bundles aren't going to suit everyone's budget, but they're perfect if you were already planning on grabbing extras like the official Switch 2 camera, 𝔉and a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 Switch 2 Edition anyway.

That's it for me today. If you're still after a Switch 2 to call your own, one of my lovely colleagues will be back tomorrow to update you with every Switch 2 stock drop as it happens iꦗn the UK and the US. Hopefully,ꩲ tomorrow will be a lot more fruitful for those of you across the pond that want to experience the wonders of Ninty's newest handheld. When you finally get your own, it'll be worst it in the long run - trust me.

A quick morning stock check

Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch OLED, and Nintendo Switch running Pokemon Shield and Sword

Good morning, folks! Time to kick off another day of hunting for Switch 2 stock online. To warm us up, I've done a quick search through all the regular UK haunts to see who's bringing the💫 heat today. You can catch the results below. ไStandout has to go to eBuyer which has successfully carried over its stock from yesterday.

 • ✅ Ebuyer:
 • ✅ ShopTo:
 • ✅ TheGameCollection:

The Game Collection's bundle

✨Here's a quick look at the bundle that The Game Collection is offering.

It's definitely on the more expensive end of the equation, which isn't ideal if you're shooting as close to MSRP as possibleไ. For you do ge🅘t quite a lot of Switch 2 goodies, though.

This bundle includes the Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle, a Switch 2 carrying case, a MicroSD Express Card, Cyberpunk 2077, and the Switch 2 𓆉camera.

This🅷 bundle feels like it's missing a controller or a set of Joy-Cons, but it's still a solid way of securing a whole Switch 2 setup in one f♛ell swoop.

Switch 2 bundle |

What's the deal with eBuyer?

Alright, so eBuyer seems a little out of sorts at a first glance. It's saying you can currently pre-order the Switch 2, which seems a little odd since the console is already out. I think this is essentially eBuyer's way of saying that its supply of Switch 2s has run dry, but they're guaranteed to get more soon. In other words, it seems like the handheld is on backorder, and the retailer ♔is expecting to have more units on the 30th of July.

The retail page has this notice:

" ***Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee an exact date for pre-order stock availability. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis as stock arrives.

Once your order is ready, you'll receive an email to re-authorise payment. After approval, your order will be shipped. *** "

Essentially, if you do order from eBuyer right now, be prepared to authorize payment at a moment's notice when the stock actually comes b𒅌ack in. And watch those email inboxes like a hawk.

That bundle from The Game Collection𒊎 I highlighted earlier? Apparently, there's only 1 left, so if you're interested, 𝄹I wouldn't wait around.

Notes on retail pages like that aren't al♉ways the most reliable, b🐠ut it's usually safer to trust them if you're thinking of buying than it is to wait around and find out.

Good morning, US shoppers

A Walmart store's logo at sunset

If you're joining us from the US, it's a good day to shop. Walmart is confirmed to🐷 have more stock of the Swit꧑ch 2 today, but you'll need to be on the ball to secure your console.

It has a notice on its Switch🐈 2 pages to say that if you join Walmart+, you'll have early access to Switch 2 stock startingไ tonight at 9pm ET. If you're desperate to get your hands on the latest Nintendo platform, it might be worth becoming a member - you can always cancel after?

If you don't join, you'll be able to access Switch 2 stock an hour after those members do, but that's provided that t𝕴here are still handhelds left to grab by then. Are you willing to take the risk?

Nintendo Switch 2 |

It's quiet Stateside if you aren't preparing for that Walmart drop

After a brief pause for lunch, I've down a quick rundown through all the regular US retailers, and it's as quiet🎃 as ever. Short of heading into a GameStop store near you, your chances of 💟finding a Switch 2 are very slim. If I were you, I'd be signing up for Walmart+ and making sure I'm ready to grab an order at 9pm ET this evening.

I guess there really was only one of those bundles left at The Game Collection...

If you're in the UK, that mega bu༺ndle from The Game Collection is now dead and gone, sadly. I guess that notice that came up for me earlier warning me that there wa♌s only one left was true after all. Still, I hope one of you lucky readers managed to grab it before it was too late.

If you🔥're in the UK, you can still🌠 go to eBuyer and ShopTo for some backorder fun.

Hot off the wire: Antonline to have more stock soon!

Donkey Kong Bananza screenshot of Donkey Kong falling into a hole

I've jᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚust heard that will be supplying more Swi♏tch 2 stock at 1.30pm ET today, just half an hour before Walmart is allowing access to its stock for Walmart+ members.

That's great news if you don't want to have 𒐪to sign up for Walmart+, and even better news generally if you're hunting for a Switch 2. More stock at more suppliers means you have a stronger chance of securing a console for🌼 yourself.

I'd still be as quick as you p♓ossibly can be when it comes to being there at 1.30pm for the stock dropping. Especially now that word is getting out, it'll be a competitive shopping trip to grab yourself a handheld.

Is it worth checking for a store near you?

GameStop? GameStonk

GameStop might not have stock on its virtual shelves, but what about the physical on💦es?

Its online pages say that you can try and find a store near you. I have a friend who managed to secure a pre-order by just walking into his local GameStop ౠ- perhaps this is the best option for you, too?

I'm winding down for the day, but US shoppers should remember some timings...

Nintendo Switch 2, Joy-Con attachment, dock, and box on a black desk

As we get to the end of the working day here in the UK, I've got a few quick reminders for US shop🤪pers since it looks like it'll be a busy evening for Switch 2 hunting.

will be the first place to check at 1.30pm ET. It's said to have stock of the Switch 2, and whether t💜h﷽at comes in the bundles the site already has listed, or just in the form of solo consoles, it'll be worth checking.

At 2pm ET, Walmart+ members should to get their early access to the latest batch of Switch 2 stock. At 3pm ET, whatever stock is left at Walmart will thꦺen become available to everyon🎀e else.

Best෴ of luck, folks! We'll be b🌠ack tomorrow morning for another day of Switch 2 stock hunting.

Good morning everyone! We're back a🦋t it 🦄again today looking for Nintendo Switch 2 stock. Let's get started, shall we?

Give me a SITREP, UK

Let's start with the UK, shall we? It's incredibly quiet out there right now in terms of where to buy Nintendo Switch 2, and most retailers are sold out. However, a couple remain. More specifically, still has consoles and is on backorder. Just bear in mind that Ebuyer's stock isn't going to arrive until Wednesday 30th July.

Ebuyer:
ShopTo:

What's up, US?

Shall we turn our attention Stateside, then? It's bad news I'm afraid - there's very little happening in terms of where to buy Nintendo Switch 2. That's not overly surprising after yesterday's drop at ♏Walmart and Antonline though.

Basically, it's all to play for today. Watch those retailers I've linked at the top of the page like a hawk, and come back regularly. If I spot any cons෴oles, I'll let you know here.

It's a bit quiet at the moment

It's still pretty quiet across the UK and US so far as where to buy Nintendo Switch 2 goes. In Britai🔜n, I'm keeping a close eye on because th💟ey've been known to offer in-store collection.

Which console to buy

So, which of the consoles should you buy - the standard system by itself/bundled with accessories, or the one that includes Mario Kart? To begin with🐻, I'd always recommend the latter. Besides getting you a game out the gate (and the best one for the system right now), you have enough to play two-player games out of the box. If you're trying to keep costs down, you can always grab an extra Joy-Con set for larger multiplayer sessions later.

Coming soon...?

✨ in the US is still displaying a lot of console bundles as𝓰 'coming soon,' but seeing as it was scheduled a drop yesterday, I'm not entirely sure when 'soon' is. I'd recommend keeping a close eye on it just in case.

Any luck?

Have you had any luck securing a console yet? If you'v𝕴e been able to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 using our help, ma༺ke sure you let us know in the comments! And if you haven't had any luck yet, don't worry - your time will come!

Let's have a quic💯k check in, shall we?🅺 I'll just run through the retailers we've been watching and give you the lowdown on what I find.

UK, what say you

We'll start with the UK. While Ebuyer is still offering 'pre-orders' (because the console won't arrive on your doorstep until July 30), ShopTo has finally stopped providing backorders. No other retailer I've seen has any stock, so at the moment it's Ebuyer or nothing. Even so, keep a close eye out; there's a good chance the console will abruptly appear at one of the other retܫailers I've listed. That's happened a few times before, so don't give up hope!

US, this is what's up

How's it going in the US, then? Still very quiet I'm afraid, with one notable distinction - Newegg has some stock. However, be warned; this is wildly overpriced, and I suspect it's a third party seller trying their luck. Don't fall f🐻or it!

Where are the consoles?

Phew, it's been a rough day for Nintendo Switch 2 stock - absolutely nothing has dropped so far. While that doesn't mean we won't see the console🍎 again today, it makes me wonder if we'll have more luck tomorrow. I wouldn't give up just yet, but I'm slightly less hopeful as time goes by.

Check in-store

A few retailers in 💃the US and UK suggest that Nintendo Switch 2 stock may be available in-store, so it's definit🍰ely worth ringing up your local Walmart/Best Buy/Smyths Toys/Game etc (delete as necessary). You never know - you may get lucky. It's worth a try, right?

Stock has arrived for UK fans

Look alive UK fans, has Nintendo S💯witch 2 stock for home deliv🧔ery! Move fast, as this is sure to run out before long. Considering how quiet it's been today, I'm just glade we finally got a live one!

Smyths Toys:

And that's us out for the day - hope you managed to secure a console. If not, don't worry! There's always tomorrow. We'll be baཧck bright an early to help you 🌌find Nintendo Switch 2, so we'll see you then!

Good morning UK folks! Switch 2 stock is currently having a nap, Smyths shelves are once again empty. Some retailers are st𓆉ill operating a back൲-order system, but I normally find that simply waiting a few days for another drop is more effective.

If you're in the US, just know that you haven't missed much so far and thaꩲt stocks are running pretty dry. I'll be keeping a close eye on all the usual haunts for the handheld, so if you re hellbent on buying a Switch 2, keep this tab open!

Be wary of inflated Walmart pricing

The Switch 2 is available at Walmart, but you'll want to tread carefully with pricing. Keep in mind that the retail👍er operates a marketplace style storefront, so you'll often find sellers listing the console for far higher than MSRP. The big box store may eventually get its own stock, so keep an eye out for that.

Another quiet day

No real movement on Swiᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚtch 2 stock yet, as retailers seem to be waiting for their next drops in the UK and US. Ideally, shelves will refill in time for the weekend so more of you can jump into some Mario Kart World sessions of replay Zelda: Wind Waker, but I'll keep you posted with any surprise opportunities.

Keep an eye out for cancelled Switch 2 orders at Amazon

Amazon isn't the first place you should check for Switch 2 stock, but ke🧸eping an eye on it could prove useful. The retailer appears to be listing the handheld sporadically and potentially as a result of orders falling through, so you could snag the console in the event one re-emerges at the site.

Nintendo Switch 2 |

Very UK stock has arrived

We have a live one! If you're based in the UK, you can get some bundles with the Switch 2 and accessories via right now. That's one of the few offers I've seen thus far.

Very:

And with that, we're o༺ut for the day. To sum up what's happening out there right now, it's very quiet in the US -the only Nintendo Switch 2 stock I've seen is wildly overpriced at the likes of Walmart and Newegg, so I wouldn't hit go on those. However, the UK does have some bundles available at , so that's your best bet if you live across the pond.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The Turtle Beach Airlite Fit stands out amongst the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch accessories available for Ninty's latest handheld, not just for its incredibly low $30 / £20 cost, but thanks to its꧋ glorious, nostalgia-indu💫cing transparent tech colorway.

The moment I first saw the 'Ghost Purple' model in person💟, my mind was flooded by memories of staring at the stunning Grape Purple Nintendo 64 that lined the Toys R' Us shelves growing up, and even the Atomic Purple Game Boy Color that I currently still have amongst my older Nintendo tech collection.

Turtle Beach Airlite Fit wired gaming headset |

The Turtle Beach Airlite Fi༒t is an officially licensed Nintendo Switch headset, but it's also fully supported on the new Switch 2. It's available in three colorways, but its Ghost Purple model is perfect for olde🐲r Ninty fans who want a nostalgic transparent-tech throwback (without the features of a mid-range alternative) without breaking the bank.

UK:

It's not the first headset to callback to the transparent tech trend of the late 90s and early 00s by any means. Right this very second, you can grab the limited edition 'Glorange' 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds and the Phantom Green 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Razer Barracuda X Chroma headset that feature transparent orange and green designs of their own, but this nostalgia aesthetic ty൲pically doesn't come cheap.

If you're a fellow old-age millennial gaming pensioner and want to dip your toes back into the transparent tech trend of your childhood, the Airltie Fit wired gaming headset is a low-cost way to do just that, and even better, it's compatible with the Nintendo Switc🍨h 2 straight out of the box.

Photo of the CRKD Atom controller sitting next to the Ghost Purple Airlite Fit wired gaming headset.

This is a wired headset, so there wasn't a huge worry that it wasn't going to be compatible with the Switch 2 during my time spent testing the pair of cups so far. However, I can't pretend that the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch headsets and thei💖r varying compatibility didn't bestow some worry within me before I popped the headset into the 3.5mm jack and had absolutely no issues.

Once you have the Airlite Fit hooked up to your Switch 2, you have some pleasantly sounding 40mm speakers at your disposal. As a low-cost headset, they have nothing on the 40mm Neodymium drivers audio drivers of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 Wireless, but whether I was drifting through Mario Kart World in free-roam mode, or trying to refreshen up my Soul Calibur 2 skills via the Nintendo Switch Online GameCube game library, everything from dialogue, the roaring of engines, to theಞ clashing of swords sounded pleasant to the ear.

Photo by Rosalie Newcombe of the Ghost Purple Airlite Fit wired headset by Turtle Beach sitting on a white desk.

As a wired headset, the Airlite Fit doesn't come with all the fancy features found on other Turtle Beach headsets like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3. There's no Bluetooth, no 2.4GHz, no customizability - it's literally just a reasonably good sounding wired headset with a flip-to-mute mic. But it stillജ comes with one major caveat - its particularly tight clamping force.

Its headband is adjustable, but no amount of pushing the headset up or down was able to put off the ܫstrain it began to put on either side of my temples after about an hour's worth of testing. At least it's extremely light at just 228g, just like the 'Airlite Fit' name suggests, however, its lack of comfort puts me in the camp of recommending this more to younger Switch 2 fans. Or to those of y🌠ou who want a cheap headset option for their kids when they're desperate to play some Mario Kart World during long car journeys.

Adults will still get a෴ kick out of the nostalgia-inducing 'Ghost Purple' colorway, but I recommend saving up for alternatives like Phantom Green Razer Barracuda X Chrom🌞a if you still want the transparent-tech throwback without losing out on comfort.

If you need more than the wired connection of the Turtle Beach Airlite Fit, our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best PC headset for gaming, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best PS5 headset, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Xbox Series X headset guides are full to the brim with high-quality alternatives to choose from.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World's producer has explained why characters from the wider Nintendo universe haven't returned from Mario Kar🍨t 8, and it's down to how big Mario's roster is.

During the 10-year wait (although fans would've had you believe 40 years) between Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart World, one of the prevailing bits of fanfiction in the Mario Kart community is that the next game would take inspiration from Super Smash Bros. Since Nintendo included The Legend of Zelda's Link, Villager and Isabelle from Animal Crossing, Inklings from Splatoon, and crossover tracks with the likes of F-Zero and Excitebike, Super Smash Kart being Mario Kart 9 felt like the natural progression to some. But as we know now, Nintendo went even harder on Mario, with all manner of little cretins that only the most sicko of Mario fans knew the name of (present company included⛄) making up a large chunk of the roster.

In an interview with (via machine translation), Mario Kart World producer Kosuke Yabuki was asked about the lack of guest racers this time around. "As developers, it would have seemed incongruous to us to add characters from other games into this universe." Yabuki said, adding, "It didn't seem necessary to us, given everything we could already do with Mario." When asked if he had considered adding a character from Arms – the last console ga🔴me he produced before Mario Kart World – he simply responded "Absolutely not!"

And yet, despite the roster of little freaks like Coin Coffer, Conkodor, and Cataquack, Yabuki said, "the reception has been so warm that it surprised even us! It definitely exceeded our expectations." And when asked if he had a favourite, unsurprisingly it was the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:same as everyone else, as Yabuki said, "just from the reception it has received, I have to tell you that it's the Cow."

To get some of those aforementioned little freaks, you'll need to take advantage of the items in Mario Kart World, so check out our full list of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Kamek unlocks in Mario Kart World.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was originally balanced around a c🐽omplete lack of items, wh👍ich allowed the devs to be ruthless with anything that was too stressful or too powerful.

Speaking to GamesRadar+, veteran Sonic series producer Takashi Iizuka explained that thඣe joint development teams - from the Sonic and Sega Arcade Racing franchises - came together to create a "balanced, fair" racing game, starting almost completely from scratch.

"They wanted to make sure the racing itself without any items was fair and fun," Iizuka says. "The dev team really took things down to the base level, and wanted to have that fun, competitive racing mechanic." Vehicle and course design came first, and o♏nly once the devs had nailed the racing experience did they build it out by adding items.

But thoꦐse items weren't set in stone, even after they eventually🌠 made it to the game. Iizuka says that the team did "a lot of playtests," and "anything that was very stressful for players, anything that always allowed people to come back from behind and win all the time needed to be removed from the concept."

After that som🌌ewhat ruthless-sounding approach to balance, there'd be even more 🌱playtests, and more balance passes. Eventually, the team settled on what Iizuka says was just "the right amount of chaotic," but retained the feeling of being fun, "and always feeling fair to the racers."

Now, I've not played all that much Mario Kart World, but I've heard plenty about being utterly bombarded by shells or watchꦚing in horror as the guy who was in last place for two laps surges forth to take the win thanks to some sandbagging-related item trickery. Whether Sonic and his many friends are immu🌜ne to exactly that fate isn't clear, but if they are it could make the battle for kart racing pole position a little more interesting.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is getting Minecraft characters and Hatsune Miku to make sure people are "not just playing it when it comes out, having fun, and that being it."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 has been out for over two weeks, but the brand-new console is in a prickly spot. Its backwards compatibility means the new Ninty handheld can support a whole range of the past 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch headsets in theory, especially due to its extra USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack🌳, and Bluetooth support from the get-go. However, in practice, it's not that s🐎imple.

In a similar situation with the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch accessories, from controllers to third-party docks, not every pair of cups out there is fully functional with the new Nintendo handheld - and trust me, I've tested a lot of them. The main culprit is wireless connectivity via 2.4GHz dongles, which isn't working as intended with the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming headsets I'd normally ecstatically recommend ꧋for the original Switch and hope to recommend for its successor.

I can only speculate that brands are still frantically working on firmware updates to rectify this issue as soon as possible, and at least Bluetooth audio support is still working fine with the headsets I've tested with the handheld so far. Yet, if you're eager to grab a new pair of cups for your next-gen Ninty setup in preparation for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Donkey Kong Bananza, or you just aren't that pat𒆙ient, here are the only five I'd wholly put my support behind for your Switch 2 after weeks worth of testin🧜g so far.

Razer Barracuda X Chroma

Razer Barracuda X Chroma |

The Razer Barracuda X Chroma works a treat on the Switch 2, whether you're using Bluetooth or hooking up the handheld via the 2.4GHz wireless dongle. With this headset, you also have the Razer Hyperclear Cardioid Mic at your disposal for GameChat, and the RGB lighting zones are customizable via the Chroma RGB app available on smartphones for💝 an added bit of flair to your Mario Kart World gaming sꦐessions.

UK:

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Razer Barracuda X Chroma gaming headset is the $129.99 / £129.99 RGB lit follow-up to the Barracuda X, a pair of cups that has steadily held the top spot as our top pick amongst th🦋e best Nintendo Switch headsets out there. The Chroma u🎐pgrade may be missing the wired connectivity of its impressive predecessor, but fortunately for you Switch 2 owners, it still carries on the same impressive audio and build quality, with some extra flashy touches.

The X Chroma was one of the first headsets I put through its paces since the Switch 2 dropped on June 5, and everything worked just as it should. Whether it was via Bluetooth, or using the compact 2.4GHz wireless dongle in the top USB-C port, I had zero compatibility issues with the handheld, which was a relief. Name൲ly, as that meant I could experience the utterly astounding and jazzy Mario 🍸Kart World soundtrack through the headset's iconic 40mm Razer TriForce audio drivers.

When I tested the X Chroma upon rel🎃ease, the signature Razer TriForce drivers made everything on the original Switch sound utterly delightful - from the multi-layered sweeping orchestral scores of Super Mario Galaxy (via Super Mario 3D All-Stars) to the nostalgia-inducing 16-bit soundtrack of Donkey Kong Country being played through the SNES Nintendo Switch Online game library. That same impressive sound makes a return for the Switch 2. I even found myself sticking on freeroam in Mario Kart World with the X Chroma on my ears simply to listen to how the headset elevated the new renditions of my favorite classic Super Mario tracks.

The Razer Barracuda X Chroma also comes with app support, so you don't have to miss out on giving your headset you're own unique touch just because you prefer to play handhelds. To tie in with the red themeing of my NSO apps (which I play the most), I customized the lighting zones to glow all red and never had to leave my sofa to do so. You don't need RGB lighting with the Switch 2, but it does at least give you that gamerfied look to your friends via GameChat. Plus, with the customization available to Switch 2 o🎐wners, it means that no key feature of thi🐠s impressive headset is left unturned.

Turtle Beach Airlite Fit Wired gaming headset

Turtle Beach Airlite Fit wired gaming headset |

The Turtle Beach Airlite Fit wa🅺s designed officially with the original handheld in mind, but this wired headset is primed and ready to go with the Switch 2. It's Ghost Purple model is perfect for older Ninty fans who love a bit of nostalgia and want a simple-to-use wired headset, with a flip-to-use microp🎃hone, that works right out the box.

UK:

Not everyone will want to fork out over $100 for a gaming headset, especially if you keep to single-player games and donꦚ't h💟ave the need for all the wireless bells and whistles, and that's where Turtle Beach Airlite Fit wired gaming headset comes in.

The Airlite Fit is less than an actual Switch 2 game at just $29.99 / £19.99 and, as the name suggests, is pretty light on the features. This headset is wired only and can be slotted into the 3.5mm port on the top of the Switch 2. On the left cup, there's also a flip-to-mute microphone, which can be popped down for when you want a quick chat with your friends via🐬 GameChat, and that's pretty much it.

Nonetheless, this absurdly cheap headset managed to impress me over the last two weeks, most notably for its sound quality. The Airlite Fit and its 40mm speakers aren't as impressive as Razer's TriFor𓄧ce speakers, but I was still taken aback by how lovely Mario Kart World, and the Legend of Zelda Wind Waker (via the NSO GameCube library) sounded on these budget cups. There was some muffling when it came 💎to bass frequencies, but not enough that it'd be entirely noticeable to the average pair of ears.

I'm more likely to recommend these not just to people with a 𝓡strict budget in mind, but anyone looking to grab a Switch 2 heads𝔉et for their kids, however. Even with the adjustable headband, its clamping force is pretty tight and feels more tailored towards smaller heads. However, old-age gaming pensioners like myself will get a lot of joy out of the 'Ghost Purple' colorway available for the Airlite Fit. There's a whole range of three snazzy designs for this wired headset, but the 'Ghost Purple' takes after the Atomic Purple Game Boy Color of yesteryear with its transparent plastic chassis - making it one of the best-looking under $30 headsets I've tested for the Switch 2 so far.

Logitech G522 Lightspeed gaming headset

Logitech G522 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset |

Logitech's latest gaming headset and the Switch 2 make a great combination, thanks in part to iꦯts easy-to-set-up Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and incredibly lightweight fit. If you don't mind forgoing the lovely gradient RGB lighting, the G522 can give you up to 70 hours of battery which make it one of the best-suited headsets for those like to travel with their Ninty tech.

UK:

Out of all the headsets I've tested with the Nintendo Switch 2 since launch, the Logitech G522 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset was the most stress-free. Instead of having to press a complicated combination of buttons, tapping the Bluetooth button once on the edge of the left cup will put the headset into pairing mode, where the handheld connected up in seconds, which is one🉐 of the main reasons it wound up as one of my top picks.

When it comes to gaming handhelds, I don't like having to fiddle around with connecting accessories. Bluetooth audio has been around in gaming☂ headsets for years now, and yet it still can be one of the most tedious processes ever. But with the G522, I was able to get it hooked up almost as fast as you can get free-roam mode running from the Mario Kart World start menu. The wireless 2.4GHz dongle worked just as easily when popped into one of the USB ports on the new Switch 2 dock too.

It wasn't just the straightforward connectivity that impressed me with Logitech's latest headset either. Out of every single pair of cups I've connected to my Switch 2, it's been one of the loudest. Whether it's down to some underlying compatib🐽ility issues, most headsets have sounded a bit lacking in the volume department with the new console. The G522 did not have this problem, and its 40mm PRO-G Drivers made the kart racers' busy soundstage sound loud and full, without any audible distortion.

The bat🦄tery life of the Logitech G522 is also one of the best I've stumbled across when it comes to compatible Switch 2 headsets so far, too. With its RGB on, you're only going to get up to 30 hours of playback, but you can wrangle up to 70 hours of juice if you don't want to have the glowing hues on either earcup.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless

Photos of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless gaming headset in Lavender, taken by writer Rosalie Newcombe, on a white desk.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X wireless gaming headset

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless is available in black, white, aqua, and lavender colorways and comes with a detachable ClearCast high-quality mic, light and comfortable fabric mesh padded earcups, an adjustable matching headstrap, mighty 40mm Neodymium drivers, and Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless support. For now, only Bluetooth is compatible with the Switch 2, yet the value of this wealth of features and quality makes it worth adding to your Ninty setup until full support inevitably arrives.

UK:

I was a bit reluctant at first to put my full weight behind the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless as a Switch 2 headset, as for now, the 2.4GHz wireless dongle is not actuജally working - but hear me out.

It's the combined wealth of features at just $109.99 / £99.99 that makes the brand's latest budget headset a great pick for Switch 2 owners, and one that feels totally worth the wait for the inevitable firmware update and full wireless support. If you've ever seen the brand's previous headsets like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 Wireless, t𓄧he 3 Wireless is very similar in both quality inside and out. Both headsets sport the same 40mm Neodymium drivers, which, once hooked up via Bluetooth, made Mario Kart World and the roaring sound of every kart's engine sound utterly incredible.

Each pair of cups also sports a similar lightweight form factor, but this new pair has the fortune to be available in two bright pastel-colored Lavender and Aqua colorways. Amongst a sea of plain all-black Switch 2 accessories that's out theꦆre so early on in the handheld's lifespan, the Arctis Nova 3 Wireless is a breath of fresh air - especially in the Lavender colorway I was provided with for testing.

For those less privy to needing their headsets to match their cozy gaming setups, you'll be glad to know the Arctis Nova 3 Wireless also features a ClearCast Gen 2.X microphone. If you're not up for ruining friendships over GameChat while playing Mario Kart World, you can easily pop it♎ off and store it away for later. I only just wish, along with the 2.4GHz support fix, the headset was available iܫn a pastel yellow to suit my future Donkey Kong Bananza gaming sessions.

SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds

Photo of the Nintendo Switch 2 hooked up to the SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds taken by Rosalie Newcombe.

SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds The SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds impressive sound quality from its 6mm neodymium drivers, 🎉and their Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connectivity, easy-to-use tap controls, and wireless charging compatible case impressed me the ꧑first time around. But now their Switch 2 compatibility has earned the high-quality buds a place as one of my favorite accessories for the brand new Ninty handheld so far.

UK:

If you want to get technical about it, adding the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds to my Switch 2 headset recommendations is also a bit cheeky, considering these aren't a headset at all and pop into your eaꦺrs. That being said, these are currently my go-to accessories to pick up when I want to get immersed in N🅷inty's newest handheld, and were one of the most straightforward to test since launch day.

Despite ha﷽ving a similar slimline 2.4GHz dongle as the Arctis Nova 3 Wireless, the Game Buds are fully supported by the Switch 2. I have the Limited Edition buds at my disposal for testing, and their compact dongle had no issue connecting to the extra USB-C port on the top of the device. Bluetooth functioned just as it should too,🐼 and I was able to get the buds hooked up in no time.

Out of all the headsets I've put through their paces with the Switch 2, these ไare not the best sounding by any means. That should be obvious when you consider that they're powered by tiny 6mm neodymium drivers, which don't come close to the ones found on their Arctis Nova headset brethren. However, the quality conjured with the buds with the Switch 2 still managed to impress me as they have done on my PS5, Steam Deck, PC, and my smartphone before it.

What separates the Game Buds from the rest of these headset top picks is that they come with active noise canceling, which is a Mario Kart World pro players best friend - trust me. I need complete concentration when showing off my decades worth of karting skills, and with ANC on and these popped in my ears, I was able to focus on getting 3-stars in every GP from 50cc to 150cc without incide💦nt. That being said, the tap controls to easily turn it off came in handy too when it came time to be reminded of my boring adult duties from my partner - and ensuring I wasn't getting too carried away in Nintendo's newest hardware.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Game-keys cards have been pretty controversial since the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 dropped. They're regular-looking carts that you get when buying a physical copy, but they don't actually contain the full game data. It's essentially a glorified download code in a box. But one analyst reckons that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077 being the only major third-party game to launch in a real cartridge didn't help its sales that much.

In case you missed it, Cyberpunk 2077 was the best-selling third-party Switch ♏2 game in the US. It's also, maybe coincidentally, the only major non-Nintendo game to avoid going the game-key card route. The entire 64gb game is on the Switch 2 cartridge if you pick it up physically - a decision CD Pro♉jekt Red calls the "right thing to do."

Of course, physical collectors saw this as an encouraging sign: game-key cards aren't selling as well as the one normal, al﷽l-on-cart game. Although, in a recent social media post, Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad says that's "not the full story."

He goes on to explain that the Switch 2's launch mirrors the OG Switch in the sense that third-party games generally didn't sell that well unless they were a notable exclusive. Cyberpunk 2077's success isn't necessarily surprising, either, since it's the console's technical showcase and it's already more popular than the other third-party 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 launch games (Street Fighter 6, Bravely Default) in te🎐rms of sales on other platforms.

"澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World (like with [The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild]) was the game to buy for Switch 2 with an ~80% attach rate," Ahmad continued. "Even with CP2077 being the best-selli🀅ng third-party game, its attach rate and the individual attach rate of all third party games was less than 5%."

"In other words, Switch 2 buyers were satisfied with Mario Kart World and legacy Switch 1 titles at launch, and did not buy any of the other Switch 2 launch games in high numbers. Game Key Cards are maybe the 4th or 5th factor for why thir꧟d party games didn't sell well... The reality is that key cards aren't a major issue in the grand scheme of things outside of enthusiast circles."

Baldur's Gate 3 publishing director Michael Douse also on the game-key card debate, writing that Cyberpunk 2077 sold well "because it's an incredible version and a debut for a system that launched wit♎h few third party games, and does the best yet to show what the Switch 2 is capable of for an audience who may not have hardware to play it on before then." Douse also said the cartridge only "nominally helped."

As a rabid p🦄🔴hysical game collector, I am happy to hear Ahmad predict more full physical Switch 2 releases in the future "once Nintendo ramps up manufacturing for cartridges and lowers royalty fees."

For now, keep an eye on these 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 games. Hopefully at least some of them will launch on the actual cart.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:No Man's Sky just received a hefty update on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2, coinciding with the settlement building-focused Beacons update. Thꦜe differences on Switch 2 are pretty stark, with Nintendo players now able to experience No Man's Sky's full suite of multiplayer options, as well as other welcome additions like the ability to manage settlements.

Having played hundreds of hours of Hell෴o Games' expansive sci-fi survival game, I'd dabbled with settlements in the past, but found the real time-tied missions t꧅o be difficult to consistently bother checking in on. That's all changed, as a new portable way to play the full game has now arrived.

Getting settled

The Beacons update overhauls the settlements that were originally added to No Man's Sky in September 2021. Buildings can be individually inspected, showing their overall effects on settler happiness and materials production. They can be upgraded too, chan🌼ging their overall stꦯructure and appearance.

Every now and then, you'll settle disputes between your citizens, with a deeper and clearer pool of solutions offered each time. These small updates combine to make the mini management simulation that lives inside No🉐 Man's Sky feel fresh and most importantly, worth your time exploring.

In the past, I'd dipped my toe into settlements, but bounced off pretty hard once 💛I realized that tasks required hours before they could be revisited and completed.

Now, playing No Man's Sky on Switch 2, and being able🅷 to sync my save file between platforms, I've been able to pick up and play more easily. I've now become completely devoted to improving my settlement, though it's certainly not been an easy ride so far.

Space cops, begone!

No Man's Sky

Returning to ꧑my long neglected settlement after nearly three years I found the mood of the inhabitants to be predictably dour.

Frequent attacks from Sentinels (No Man's Sky's roving space cops), a poisoned water supply, and several half-finished buildings added up to a very ꩵlow approval rating for this budding mayor. After rea♍lizing I could now take my settlement with me on the go, I set about dealing with Sentinels, choosing to craft an AI-boosted mech suit to repel several waves of rogue enforcers.

Turns out, combat is pretty snappy these days, as I was now able to fire huge waves of destructive power from my mech's Minotaur Cannon. The Sentinels responded with a mech suit of their own, but mine was big🗹ger, shinieꦐr, and practically unstoppable.

Things in Greater Amtarh settled down quite a bit after the c🅰ollateral damage from the laserfire died out. Priority two was now in effect: solve citizen disputes, get the construction♒ of habitation units authorised and properly funded, and of course, find a better dwelling for me, the mayor.

Something more 🔜suited to the benevolent, but fair ruler I'd become. The time restraints became windows of opportunity, encouraging me to finally explore the planet I'd be calling home. I found some absolutely horrific lifeforms, fed them pellets to sooth them, and even started to warm up to their gangly proportions.

There was a quest I'd left unfinished too, which had me chasing a friendly Sentinel drone from supply base to supply base, as it hacked enemy systems and rewarded me with u👍pgrades for my M♈inotaur mech.

These small updates combine to make the mini management simulation 𒀰that lives inside No Man's Sky feel fresh...

I've grown quite happy with my home away from home, with Beacons adding extra flair to the personalities of my settlers. They set off fireworks upon the completion of build🔯ings, and autonomously produce lucrative materials that I can sel﷽l on my regular trips up to the system's local Space Station.

There's a fishing hole behind the atmospheric harvester, aℱ set of red and gold rugs by the marketplace, and a starship landing pad that services visitors. What was once a fairly flat experience has been transformed into a lively hub of commerce, one that𓃲 occasionally erupts with chaos thanks to semi-regular attacks from pirates.

There is, unfortunately, an issue with game versions at the time of writing that locked me out of the cross save system while Hello Games works on an update on Switch 2. Still, I've gotten into the rhythm of managing my settlement on PS5, finding gen🃏uine excitement in the growing overall happiness of my planetary hub.

We're in terrible debt, it's true, and there's appar🐭ently a hostile spy in our midst that threatens to turn morale on its head, but I'm happy to have a reason to load back into No Man's Sky a few times a day.

Looking ahead, it seems like I can recruit a squadron of starships to protect my settlement from the skies. There's even mysterious Autophage Settlements that I've yet to encounter: robotic inhabitanꦏts housed in structures cobbled together from scrap metal and glowing purple crystals.

With Beacons, I could manage up to four settlements if I wanted to, expanding my rule across multiple star systems. For now, I'm set on carrying Greater Amtarh into a new industrial age. Maybe I can get a bigger turret for my mech suit as well. Heไre's hoping.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Borderlands 4 isn't a "cynical" sequel, and Gearbox wants to prove it by providing a movement overhaul akin ♏to Borderlands 3's improved gunplay.

Speaking to GamesRadar+ as part of our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 preview, lead writer Taylor Clark says that "Borderlands is almost old enough to drive. 🐬It would be strange if it weren't constantly growing and adapting. And that's not because we're trying to meet the market in some cynꦉical way."

In other words, Gearbox isn't only𒊎 making another sequel for the sake of making a sequel. "We are a creative team and there are ideas that we want to express through Borderlands 4," Clark explains. There are "ways that we want to make it feel like we're breaking fresh ground again."

For 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4, that fresh ground is to be found in a particular focus on how you get around. A more open-world entry than any of its predecessors, Borderlands 4 offers the ability to conjure its Digirunner vehicles wherever you are, but an emphasis of movement is said to pervade the whole game.ꦿ According to executive producer Chris Brock, that's because Gearbox "wanted to take that same focused approach" that the studio had on Borderlands 3's combat overhaul, "but this time for movement and exploration."

According to Clark, that means "less borders, more lands," as well as "virtually no loading times" and a non-linear approa🌳ch to the꧂ campaign that lets you deal with main missions "in pretty much any order." Not all of that is directly attached to movement, but it's a free-form approach to Borderlands that hasn't really been a major part of previous entries.

As well as making its own new stamp on movement, Gearbox is listening to fans, announcing an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:optional combat radar for Borderlands 4 in response to fans who mourned the loss of an in-game map. It's not quite ready yet, but it's been put together exꦅtremely quickly, implying that the studio might still have a few things it's yet to reveal ah🌃ead of the September release date.

Borderlands 4's $70 price is "extremely unlikely" to have been influenced by backlash to Randy Pitchford's "real fan" comment.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Sega Sammy accidentally revealed how much some of its recent games have sold, and I now totally understand why the publisher seems so hesitant about moving on from the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5 era.

In a new 'Management Meeting' published earlier this week, the publisher tried to black out its sales data behind a grey block on page 25. Although some especially nosey fans found that if you highlight what's behind the box, then copy and paste it, you can see exactly what's back there. (Numbers!)

The Blue Blur is obviously doing very well for a mascot platformer. Sonic Frontiers has sold around 4.5 millionꦆ copies, Team𒐪 Sonic Racing is at 3.5 million, and even Sonic Superstars did respectable business with over 2.4 million copies.

On the JRPG side, though, Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance have all pushed past the 2 million mark. Meanwhile, Yakuza: Like a𝓀 Dragon is inching closer to 3 million and Like a Dragon: In💃finite Wealth is almost at 2 million.

Easily the heaviest hitter on the list is Persona 5 Royal, though. The evergreen juggernaut has sold a whopping 7.25 million copies, and that doesn't even count sales f♊rom vanilla Persona 5, which had sold around 3ꦍ million copies .

There's been a running community joke about Atlus' resistance to moving on from Persona 5, and with these mega numbers out in the wild, I can totally understand why we've had so many spin-offs, with a still-upcoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:P5 gacha on the horizon. Atlus has of course gone back to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:remake Persona 4 and 🀅3, along with a brand-new fantasy series, but it's taken a little longer🦩 to get to the long-awaited Persona 6 than expected.

In fact, the only official thing we've heard about the next full Person🧸a game is that it's in development. (Quick, act surprised.) "We are actively preparing for the future development of the Persona series as a studio," P-Studio lead Kazuhisa Wada recently teased. "We are working hard to meet the expectations of fans around t🧜he world, and our work is progressing well. Please stay tuned for more updates. We look forward to your continued support of the Persona series."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ AU in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Recently I was slightly shocked by how much magic is lost when replaying 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Zelda: Breath of the Wild and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Legend of Z🌼elda Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 2. Don't get me wrong, they're both fantastic games, but so much of their power is in the discovery, in uncovering new secrets, mechanics and revelations for the first time. Coming back years later for another go around, there was clearly no easy way to get the lightning back in𝔍 the bottle. Without the thrill of exploration and revelation alike, knowing where everything is and how it all works, it all feels a lot less special. Now I know what's over the mountains and where the Master Sword is hiding, I feel le𓄧ss motivation to go out trekking.

But that was something that BOTW, at least, was able to solve. A special addition to the game (though admittedly not a free one) that shot life back into Hyrule and gave it the edge that I needed on a second playthrough. A bloody, serrated edge that turned the whole thing from a jolly adventure into a spiral down to the heart of darkness: Master Mode.

It's dangerous to go alone… or at all, actually

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Mode

Master Mode was released for Breath of the Wild as part of the game's expansion pass, a high-difficulty setting that turns the challenges of Hyrule all the way up to eleven. Puzzles are left the same, but anything relating to combat is made far more deadly, including smarter, beefier enemies with innate health regeneration. Still, sta💝rting it up, I found myself being a little cocky about the whole thing. Modern Nintendo rarely makes things too tough, after all, and I was a veteran of the whole Soulsborne catalogue! As somebody who had cut down Sword Saint Isshin, what had I to fear?

Just about everything, it turns out. Among other changes to items and systems, Master Mode takes most enemies and just upgrades them toꦜ the next tier. So minutes after picking up a couple of flimsy branches in the intro, you've suddenly 💃got hordes of middle-management blue orcs chasing after you, with even the endgame brown and white ones looming in the back rows. I hadn't even reached the first tutorial shrine! The first ten minutes were largely a mix of shrieking and panicking as I dove between exploding fire arrows and cowered from Ganon's burliest goons.

Things got no better as I explored the wider Plateau. Approaching the Magnesis shrine, floating platforms rose up from pools of water, ridden by eagle-eyed archers. I'd try launching sneak attacks on lone foes, only for my weapons to break ineffectively over their skulls. And hiking towards the woodcutter's hut, I realized with a sinking feeling that some villainous designer had left a motherfucking lynel in the tutorial zone. That realization was followed by a seri🌺es of fiery blasts that sent Link's carcass soaring over the horizon like he was auditioning for Team Rocket.

Tears of the protagonist

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Mode

I don't want to act like this wasn't fun, in a turbulent sort of way. Suddenly the game wasn't about choosing a preferred strategy, but having to use all of them if I wanted to have a hope of survival. I'd carefully scout enemy camps to judge the threat and what natural advantages were present well before daring to break cover. Rolling rocks down on foes isn't enough – now I was freezing them mid-descent with Stasis 𒆙to ensure that they arrived at the precise moment to coincide with a powderkeg I'd set alight. Then it was a matter of sprinting in as they were reeling and snatching all the weapons in the armory, trying to stop them from reaching their armaments.

An🐷d even if I won – big if – there was ꧅no guarantee that I'd come out the other side having gained more than I'd spent. More than once I'd shatter all my gear and spend all my arrows clearing an enemy camp, only to stagger to the final chest and extract a chewed toothpick that wouldn't have been worth the effort.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Mode

But more broadly, Master Mode is absolutely worth the effort. I found that the challenge actually plateaued a little (har har) over time as I managed to accrue an arsenal of weapons and gear that better matched the elevated peril. But those early hours felt like a different game entirely, one where Link wasn't just a brave knight, but ಌa desperate, strategic survivor, fighting from permanent disadvantage, picking and choosing his fights very carefully❀. That Tears of the Kingdom doesn't have an equivalent difficulty (and isn't likely to) isn't just a shame, it's a real blow against its long-term replayability. If I can build flying death machines covered in lasers and flamethrowers, I would've loved to pit them against a world that actually called for that sort of firepower.

Tears of the Kingdom is great, but the Switch 2 upgrades have made me confront the hard truth: Breath of the Wild is still the superior Zelda game.
