The side material can feel superfluous at times, 🧸distracting us from the post-apocalyptic politics of the region that makes New Dawn such a strong narrative experience to play off the back of Far Cry 5. When you first start off in New Dawn, you’ll be tasked with upgrading Prosperity, your base of operations, to level 1. Ignore that. It also saves you having to cart around Timber and hear his whimpers when he gets hurt/worry about his well-being in the middle of a gunfight.  

5. Fall damage is no joke

If there’s one thing you take away from this Far Cry New Dawn tips, it should be this: fall damage does not mess around. If you fall early on i🌜n the game, be prepared to wave goodbye to a chunk of your health or just straight-up die. So, if you’re lazy like me and enjoy taking shortcuts down𝄹 the side of mountains, get the Grapple and Skydiver perk. Each of them reduces fall damage, which your knees will most definitely thank you for. 

6. Your Guns for Hire can be your personal chauffeurs

Want to go and make a cup of tea, but know you have to drive for about five minutes to get to some remote location on the map? Get one of your (human) Guns for Hire to drive you there! All you have to do is find a suitable vehicle, select where you want to go on the map so the blue route shows, then get in the passenger seat. Your buddy will do all the driving for you, giving you a break that you can use to make a hot beverage of choice or simply chill. Stumbling around the wild just hoping for a glimpse of a cougar, wolf, or boar is a tiresome affair. But if you bring some bait with you (which requires meat and Yucca, the orange plant) and chuck it down, you are guaranteed a wild animal appearance within a couple of seconds. Plus if you kill that aniꦬmal you then have meat for the next lot of bait you need to craft,ꦇ which you can use to lure another animal, and so on and so on...

10. If you see an animal carrying something in its mouth, follow it (from a distance)

Animals have dens in Far Cry New Dawn, and they’re much more than just a nifty environmental detail. Insideඣ each den you’ve got a chance of finding a lootable bag or even sometimes a gun, but finding them can be tricky. So if you see a cougar or a wild dog carrying something in its mouth, instead of killing it follow it from a safe distance and it⛄’ll lead you straight to its den. 

11. Completing challenges is an easy way to earn perk points

Treasure hunts are your main way of getting perk points in Far Cry New Dawn, with each one netting you three to spend. Talk to people!

Far Cry doesn’t use towers any more to unlock the world or mark the map. Instead, it gets a bit more Skyrim, where💛 talking to people gives you mission info and adds quests to your journal. It’s hard to miss the essential stuff but make sure y🔜ou chat to anyone and everyone with a “!” icon above their head, as they’ll usually have something for you to do. 

These can include Cult Outposts, Prepper Stashes, side quests, story quests, key character locations and more, and they’ll be marked on your map as soon as the NPC has finished talking. Don’t worry; if you can’t be bothered to hear what every Joe Schmoe has to say to you, you can always skip each conversation and they’ll cut to the chase with the key information you’re looking to ꦑhear.

It’s good to keep switching between Specialists 

Specialists are key characters in Far Cry 5; able patriots willing and ready to assist you in the fight against the cult as soon as you’ve unlocked them by completing each of their unique side-quests. There are six of them in total, and while everyone will have their favourites, it’s worth swapping various characters in and out depending on what you’re doing. You can dismiss and call them in at will, so it makes sense to think 💮about what you actually need. 

Grace, as a sniper, is great for ranged support. While Sharky has a flamethrower that creates chaos at close range, and is resistant to explosions. Ot🔜her characters pack silent bows, or rocket launchers and more, so depending on wh𒉰ether you want to go loud or stealthy, fight from a distance or up close, you’ll want to keep mixing things up. 

Pay attention to the signs

You’ve probably spotted various signposts situated on the side of most roads in Far Cry 5, and it turns out they’re not just ornamental. Looking at them will notify you of a particular point of interest nearby - such as a🍬 fishing spot, base jump location, or hunting ground - and will even mark it for you on your map. 

That’s important, because yo✤u can’t just rely on radio towers anymore to show you every notable location in the vicinity, so these signs are a great way to keep track of what’s around you.  

You can open every safe you see 

You’ll come across locked safes in Prepper Stashes, bunkers, or just certain households in Far Cry 5, and m🍰ost of them will contain serious stacks of money, or maybe even something better like a perk magazine. You’re going to want to open every last one you find, and you can do that in three ways. 

There’s the easy way, chucking a remot♔e explosive at the lock and blowing it wide open, but you might not always any spare bombs handy. The other options include burning it open with the blowtorch (you’ll need to unlock this gadget as a perk first) or, if you have the lockpicking perk, simply holding a button to get it open using your own bare hands. 

Level up your fighters 

Fighters are randomly ♚generated NPC civilians who will be able to join you as a disposable Guns for Hire whenever you encounter them across Hope County. You can recruit up to three in your army at any one time, and each once can be leveled up twice to gain up to two, randomly selected perks that can boost both you and them whenever they’re with you. 

To level up, a Fighter needs to get 5 kills to unlock their first perk and 12 kills to unlock the second, so sic them on enemies and keep an eye 🙈on their kill count in the roster menu to gain access to those perks as quickly as possible. Some of their buffs, like Vulture (will find extra stuff when looting) can be super handy, so it’s worth focusing on this mini progression system whenever possible. 

You should recruit all three Fangs for Hire ASAP

Similar to the Specialists, Fangs for Hires are animal companions you can enlist to accompany and fight with youꦐ around Hope County. I recommend fi♛nding and bringing them onboard as soon as you can, since it’s great fun to see your giant pet bear reduce cultists to whimpering wrecks. There are three Fangs for Hire available in Far Cry 5, and you’re free to go and recruit them as soon as you’ve liberated Dutch’s Region and have access to the full open world. 

Boomer the dog is the easiest to unlock, as you’ll only need to kill a few cultists at Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm in John’s Region before he’s all yours to have fun with. Cheeseburger the bear and Peaches the cougar have slightly longer, more challenging quest lines, but as long as you’re competent in ꩲcombat, it’ll be no time before they’re by your side in battle.

Max out your Resistance Points in each region

As with previous Far Crys, things you do in game earn you Resistance Points and when you fill the meter you can take on the boss for that region. Almost every activity gives you Resistance Points, but some earn more than others; For example, liberating a Cult Outpost pays out 400 RP, while rescuing a hostage will earn you 50 RP. That last one might not sound like much,  but there’s often more than one hostage in ev♚ery hostage situation you’ll ༒encounter, so it all adds up. 

Remember that the more resistance you gain, the more you aggravate the boss of each region, meaning they’ll start hunting you down more aggressively with planes, hitmen, and more, so do keep an eye out for t💮hose.

Complete challenges to earn perk points

Speccing out your character involves unlocking perks and gadgets. That includes things like improving your skill with different weapons, max🌃ing out your inventory capacity, or getting a wingsuit. Like with Resistance Points, almost anything you do can count towards earning more perk points thanks to the challenge system, which is viewable from the journal when in the game.

Get a certain amount ofღ kills with an LMG, for example, and you’ll earn yourself two perk points. It’s therefore worth frequently checking in your journal to see what progress you’re making, in case there’s a gun that’s a few kills away from a perk point, just so you’re not sitting on any unclaimed rewards.

Keep an eye out for Prepper Stashes 

Scattered around the world in Far Cry are Prepper Stashes, which are basically just big ol‘ piles of loot waiting to be grabbed. There’s always a puzzle or challenge o🧸f sorts involved - whether that’s finding a generator to open a door or wading through mounds of dog poo for a keycard - but they’re worth doing, and not just because you’ll receive tons of money, ammo, resources, and at least perk points (in the form of perk magazines) for completing them.

Certain s🐭tash𒆙es present some of the best side activities that Far Cry 5 has to offer, such as a trip to a Haunted House or a tense climb up one of Hope County’s tallest mountains. The wads of cash you’ll gain for hunting every prepper stash down is merely an added bonus.

The Clutch Nixon time trials are worth doing

According to legend, Clutch Nixon was an Even Knievel type stuntman from Hope County who used trucks, bikes, wingsuits, and more to blaze a trail across the world. You can find memorials to him around Far Cry 5’s world, and interacting with them will begin time trial challenges that can be completed t💙o unlock new vehicles alongside the cash needed to purch▨ase them. Beat Clutch Nixon’s records, and you’ll soon find yourself in possession of seriously cool new gear. 

You can throw your melee weapons 

O﷽ther than being great for silent takedowns or nonchalantly whacking people round the head with, Far Cry 5’s assortment of spades, baseball bats, pipes, and oars can also be chucked like a throwing spear to either impale an enemy or send them flying down in confusion. 

The game never specifically tells you ꦬthat you’re able to do this, but it adds a much needed sense of range to melee combat that can be utilised to clear space between you and your foes before you deliver that killer final blow. Hello, you’re still here! So, at the end you have two decisions to make: you can choose to kill or spare both Mickey and Joseph Seed. In the former’s case, while she’s lying all bloody and beaten up next to her dead sister (there’s no option to save Lou and her violent temper), Mickey promises that if♍ you spare her life you’ll never see her again. She sounds fairly honest and appears to have had some kind of major epiphany after realising that you’re a lot like her mum, always wanting to make things better...but, considering all the people that have died because of her, I honestly don’t blame you 🌺for nestling a bullet deep inside her skull. 

You get the same choice when it comes to Joseph. Your final encounter with him, following the boss fight with his son Ethan after he got corrupted by Eden’s Fire, leads to Joseph setting his pink tree on fire (which seems to symbolise God to him), then confessing that he’s a “monster” who “has only spread suffering and death in the name of God”. Yeah, no duh. Joseph pleads with you to kill him, even planting your gun against his chest while൩ whispering “relea♉se me”. You can either pull the trigger, or leave him alive and breathing. Because of all he did to the innocent civilians of Hope County before the bombs fell, I refused to let him have the easy way out, but you know, you do you.

If you kill Mickey and Joseph

If you decide the world is better off without two people who will happily brainwash or straight-up terrorize innocent civilians, not much changes after the credits roll. Well, actually, nothing changes. You can go to both the rock in New Eden where Mickey died and to the burnt tree where Joseph perished, but nothing is waiting for you there: no dead bodies, no notes from vengeful New Eden worshippers or the Highwaymen, nothing. This Far Cry New Dawn ending means that the final final cutscene stays the same too, with Carmina and you sharing a beer by Rush’s grave. So now that you know that, go for🌜th and murder as you see f💎it, my sweet avenging angels. 

If you spare Mickey and Joseph

Now, if you’re the more forgiving type, you migh🌸t find it in your heart to spare Mickey and Joseph. You’ll still get the same scene with you and Carmina sharing a beer by Rush’s grave. And hey, you’re kind of rewarded for doing so when it comes to Mickey, as if you go back to where you last saw her there’s something extra waiting for you. Upon the rock where she and her twin died, there’s her bone-adorned helmet and a note that reads:

“A deal’s a deal, rabbit. I’m out.

You’ll still have some Highwaymen to deal with. They won’t want to give up the good life they’ve got here, but that’s your problem to solve. 

Me, I’m gonna head back east and look for my mom. A long time ago, our dad made us leave her behind. I’m gonna go see if she’s still alive out there. 

It’s a long shot, but it’s all I got left.”

Mickey is now on the path to redemption. Depending on which Far Cry New Dawn ending Ubisoft decides is canon, this could set up a fascinating sequence of events: what if in the next Far Cry game, you play as Mickey, making your way across America to find your mom? Your adeptness with weaponry would have a pre-made explanation, having learned all about how to handle a gun during your days leading the Highwaymen. Plus depending on how you end thꦅat game (having the choice between a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ ending), either decision would make sense: you could go good, in an attempt to redeem ওyourself and your days of murdering innocents, or you could go bad, confirming that despite however much she tries, Mickey is still the same ruthless person she was when she used to run a gang with her sister. 

As for Joseph, I personally think leaving him alive is a greater punishment than killing him. Making him live with what he’s done, the people he’s got killed, his failure: now that is hell. He seems to think so too, as if you don’t shoot him - you can simply wait out the ಞbutton prompt to do so - he stays on his knees, bellowing “RELEASE ME” into the sky. Return later on, and he’ll simply be gone. No note, no dead body, nothing. It’s up to you whether you think he killed hi𒁏mself, fled into the wilderness, or has hidden away and is currently devising more nefarious plans for the future.

How to start the A Thousand Words questline in Far Cry New Dawn

You'll find the box of photographs needed to start this particular questline in the main building of Prosperity, your base. Go in through the front door, and head up the stairs to your right, and walk along the balcony there. There's a little exclamatiᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚon mark prompt telling you there's something interesting there. You'll then add all nine of Tracey's photos to your inventory, which you'll need to line up with their real world locations. 

Here's where to find all the Far Cry New Dawn photograph loca🍒tions, working northwards from Prosperity itself. 

1. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - John Seed's Farm

Location: Just to the east of Prosperity

Turns out the first of the Far Cry New Dawn photographs is actually taken of your new home - Prosperity. Go the the circular dip in the ground just to the west of Prosperity, and turn back on your home to realise that this new sꦓanctuary is actually originally John Seed's Farm. Yes, the home of the youngest of the three Seed brothers is now your greatest concern, and full of li🐻fe and hope once more. 

2. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - Rye & Daughter Aviation

Location: Rye & Daughter Aviation, to the east 👍of Prosperity

You'll find Tracey'sꦗ table just to the south of the Aviation building, looking more at the house than the actual airfield itself. It's much more of a shambles now, but you can see the resemblance. 

3. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - Fall's End Water Tower

Location: Just east of the Chop Shop Outpost

If you follow the main road east from the Chop Shop outpost and then work your way throu💦gh the shrubbery, you'll reach a clearing in full view of the strange propellor plane on top of a leaning tower supported by cabling. It's here you'll find Tracey's camera table, cataloguing what used to be the Fall's End Water Tower. 

4. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - Holland Valley Elevator

Location: Just on the north side of The Refinery Outpost

Just to the nort🅰h of The Refinery outpost you'll find a fork in the road where a small road comes off the main one. Tracey's table is ꦑnestled in here, just back from the road and gives you a clear shot of the Outpost and its three ethanol tanks. Originally a grain elevator, it's clear now that this place is a shell of its former self. The rats have been at it, and what used to produce food now is home to producing a new kind of fuel.

5. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - Bridge of Tears

Location: South of the broken railway bridge that lies down the m🍌💙ain Hope County river

There's a broken railway bridge on the main river that almost carves the map in half, where containers litter what's left of the structure that remains towering over the water. Head upstream from the bridge🎃 it♒self, on the western bank, and you'll see the table by the water. I had to stand in front of the table, basically on top of the camera icon on the yellow rug to get the photo positioned correctly.

6. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - Gardenview Parking Facility

Location: Just west of The Pantry outpost

Head over to the Pantry Outpost, and walk across the main roaওd just to the west. You'll see what rem✅ains of the little grocery store, with its big red apple sign as you make your way through. The table is just opposite. At least there's still flowers, eh?

7. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - Mastodon Geothermal Park

Location: Way over🐻 on the east of the map, across the water to the west of Camp Boshaw

If you've added Sharky Boshaw to your𒁃 arsenal of Far Cry New Dawn best guns for hire, you'll be familiar with the green hue of the water that surrounds this explosives plant. Go over the water to the west, and Tracey's table is up on a little ledge. Well, turns out that back in the good old pre-apocalypse days, it used to be the Mastodon Geothermal Park (complete with sulphur pools)♏. Wait, what happened to the Mammoths this time?

8. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - Joseph's Compound

Location: On the island near the bunkꩲer, on the northeastern shore

Head to the northeastern shore of the island where Joseph Seed's bunker is hidden, near the part that lies on its own like some kind of qu𒉰otation mark. It's here, where the water has claimed some of the land and its buildings, that Joseph's Compound used to lie. Tracey's table is right on the water's edge, and althouཧgh you can still make out what it used to be, Joseph won't be living here anymore. 

9. Far Cry New Dawn Photograph - McKinley Dam

Location: At the very 🍷northern point of t♊he map, just south of Joseph's Sanctuary

If you head on over to Joseph's Sanctuary, go back downstream but follow the eastern bank. Once you've got down a little, you'll spot Tracey's camera spot on the water itself on a little makeshift platform, looking back upstream t💯owards the Sanctuary itself. It's in the mist here that the Dam lies, but it's what's beyond it that's really interesting now.

You’ll have to liberate the F.A.N.G Centre (which is a cult outpost) once you arrive, which means taking out all the cult members residing w꧒ithin. Full disclosure: there’s quite a lot of them, including pet wolves, Juggernauts, and a ♐chopper, so make sure you’re well armed and stocked before barraging through the front gates.

Upon liberating the Centre, talk to Wade Fowler by the enclosure, who’ll tell you about Cheeseburger before revealing that he set him free before the cult got to him. This’ll start the quest ‘A Right to Bear Arms’, which asks you to go and rescue Cheeseburger, but you’ll ne꧂ed to fish for some salmon beforehand to win him over. 

Head to fishing spo꧒t marked on your map and follow the tutorial to successfully fish a Chinook Salmon, before moving on to Cheeseburger’s indicated location at Linero Building Supplies. There’ll be a couple more enemies here, but much fewer than there were at the F.A.N.G Centre, so it shouldn’t 🌌be difficult to take them out.

How and where to get the Far Cry 6 secret ending 

Unlike previous Far Cry games, where the secret ending is accessible from almost the very start, you'll have to play through potentially a few hours of Far Cry 6, depending oꩲn how much side mission stuff you do. The main missions that you'll need to play after your initial escape at the start and arrival on the island are Juan of a Kind, Du or Die, Fire and Fury, Fuel the Revolution, and, finally, Libertad Rising. The credits will then roll and you can walk away content in the knowledge you've finished Far Cry 6. Every Far Cry 6 Amigo

Appropriately, there are a total of six Far Cry 6 Amigos that can currently be found in Yara, with a variety of abilities and skills that can help you when you&ap♛os;re up against Castill👍o's forces. We've laid them all out below, including how they can be found and what you can do with them.

Guapo the Alligator

Guapo is the first Amigo that players will get, a bulky alligator with a classy gold tooth who barrels across the battle𒐪field and mauls enemies. Left on his own he tends to just charge at whatever enemy is closest or that provokes him, but Dani can give him directions and make him attack specific enemies on command. When attacking opponents, he tends to knock them down and savage them, leaving them open and vulnerable to additional attacks from the player (though if Guapo does enough damage, they'll die anyway).

Guapo is a tank, and plays as such. He has no strategy beyond the head-on charge, meaning he takes a lot of damage, but his unlockable health regeneration and self-revivဣe powers ensure that he can keep going nonetheless. You can't use him for stealth though, as his attacks are slow, painful ones that leave soldiers screaming before they die. Cute little 'gator, isn't he? Complete the challenges below to unlock his full primordial potential.

• Reptile Metabolism - Guapo's self-revive skill restores 90% of his maximum health, rather than 50%. (Have Guapo kill 50 enemies to unlock)
• Body Regulation - Guapo gains improved health regeneration during combat. (Have Guapo self-revive 5 times to unlock)
• Cornered Beast - Guapo gains damage resistance when his health is less than 50%. (Have Guapo regeneration 3000 health during combat to unlock)

To get Guapo,🔯 players just have to proceed with the main campaign. Before the first hour is over, you'll likely have met a character named Juan Cortez, as part of a mission called "Juan of a Kind". Guapo is introduced during this ☂mission, and by the end you'll have struck up enough of a friendship that he'll become a proper Amigo.

Chorizo the Sausage Dog

For those who like their pets a little less toothsome, Chorizo is a cute little dog Amigo on wheels who will loyally follow you wherever you go. Everybody loves Chorizo, and that's sort of the point - by directing him to interact with an enemy, he'll wander over and distract them, so you 🍰can either sneak past or go for a stealth kill. He's not much of a help in combat scenarios, but for those who prefer 🍃to infiltrate silently, he's a very good boy indeed. For new tricks and talents to put in his toolbelt, complete the following challenges with him.

• Bloodhound - Chorizo tags nearby crafting materials. (Have Chorizo distract 10 enemies to unlock).
• Yes, You Can - Pet Chorizo for some health regeneration. (Have Chorizo tag 36 loot containers to unlock)
• Keen Senses - Chorizo occasionally digs up resources for the player. (Use the Yes, You Can ability 50 times to unlock).

Chorizo is found by pursuing the Monteros campaign arc, which unlocks early in the game. Head to meet Philly Barzaga at the marked loca♉tion (he has Chorizo with him), and this'll start a mission called Meet the Monter🐽os. You need to complete this mission, which will take you to Montero Farm. 

Now it's over, head to the kennel on the East side of the main house to see Chorizo. Interacting with him will start a mission called "Who's a Good Boy?" It requires you to get some alligator meat and will suggest locations to ch🏅eck out, though if you've got some🍷 already you can just immediately complete the mission by putting it in Chorizo's bowl.

Not done yet, but almost there. Pet Chorizo again to start a new mi꧂ssion called Fetch Quest. This one is easy - just follow him around the farm as he finds you items. Oncᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe you get the last one, he'll become a permanent Amigo in your roster of pets.

Chicharrron the Rooster

He might not lo✤ok like much, but Chicharron is one of the most aggressive Amigos in the game - a sort of 'point them at the enemies and wait for the screaming to stop' deal. He's not stealthy, but he is chaos incarnate and can have the enemy in disarray in seconds once he gets started, using abilities to boost damage, dodge attacks and knock enemies over. He can launch into leaping attacks from an incredible range and is the best choice if you just want to charge in and start shooting.

• Roid Rage - Attacks faster and deals more damage when his health is below 70% (kill 12 enemies to unlock). 
• Angrier Bird - Lets Chicharron knock enemies to the ground (kill 12 enemies in Road rage mode). 
• Chicken Feet - More likely to dodge enemy attacks in Roid Rage mode (knock 50 enemies down using Angrier Bird).  

To get Chicharrron, wait until you have the Yaran Story Man's Best Enemy in the Sierra P༒erdida region of El Este. You'll have to complete a few missions centred on helping Chicharrron's vendetta against the regime before you he'll become your Amigo, but if you want a psychotic murder chicken on your team, it'll be worth it. 

Boom Boom / Boomer

You might recognize this secret Amigo from Far Cry 5, but he's not initially available, or even me🔥ntioned until you find him. You'll need to unlock the mission Boom or Bust from Juan Cortez to get him, which will set you off in search of an American weapons shipment. You'll have to check a few shipping containers but when you find the right one you'll unlock Boomer, now known as Boom Boom, as your very own good boy. His main ability is looting dead enemies for resources as well 🌊as the following unlockable abilities:  

• Pointer - Automatically tag enemy and animal locations (loot 10 dead bodies to unlock).
• Expert Tracker - tag enemies from father away (tag 24 animals).
• Thick Coat - Take more damage (tag 50 enemies).

You'll be able to access the mission you need, Boom or Bust, from your Journal when it's availabl🅷e. That will then send you to Feroza on the Western border of Valle de Oro. When you get there you'll have to find and search a number of blue shipping crates around town to find which one has Boom Boom in. Once you've found him, he's all yours.

Oluso the Panther

Oluso the Panther is gained via the Triada Blessings sidequest🐷, and is one of the few Amigos to be something a little more than natural. A shadowy, mystical creature, Oluso serves as a stealth attack amigo, using silent takedowns to kill enemies without breaking yo𒁃ur stealth (assuming nobody sees him on the prowl or tearing a Castillo's head off).

Consequently, the big cat is a hybrid of Guapo and Chorizo, viable both in stealthy missions and full-on attack. Later upgrades will make it even more dangerous, and the last one in particular makes Ol﷽uso literally unstoppable. Amigos don't really get better than this.

• Mimi Abosi's Luck - Oluso's stealth is improved, and it can stealth-kill enemies during combat. (Have Oluso kill 12 enemies in restricted areas to unlock).
• Rage of Ida - Oluso's takedown, if spotted, causes fear in the enemies who see it and prompts them to flee. (Have Oluso kill 24 enemies with takedowns to unlock)
• Mist of Oku - When below 50% health, Oluso is surrounded by smoke that grants increased stealth, health regeneration, and immunity to all damage. No, seriously. (Have Oluso inflict fear on 50 enemies to unlock).

As mentioned, Oluso is gained at the end of the Traida Blessings sidequest. This quest begins in the starting island of Isla Santuario, in the Ol෴uwa Cave just East of Clara's Camp. Head there at any time to start the quest, which will require you to find three Relics across the whole of Yara. Don't worry, the quest will reveal their locations, and you can go hunting for them straight away. 

Once you have all three Relics, take them back to Oluwa Cave and th🤡ey'll open a new area inside it. Inside is a chest that'll give you a new Supremo and Resolver weapon, and you'll need them before you're immediately attacked by ghostly panthers, one of which is Oluso itself. Be quick on your feet here, Oluso will teleport after taking damage and try to flank you, so a shotgun or SMG is a good choice. Once defeated, Oluso will calm down and sign onto your team as an Amigo. Odd choice, but we won't question it.

K-9000 the Robot Dog

A bionic mutt with an Easter egg around its neck, K-9000 is a futuristic superdog Amigo as deadly as Chorizo is cute. K-9000 is designed to be an all-rounded partner, with applications in both stealth and combat. Its hardy exterior makes it immune to fire and poison while reducing bullet damage, and its unlockable abilities are what build into the stealth aspect. K-9000's secondary ability is to tag nearby enemies and mo🧸re without having to watch them through the phone camera, which can often be very helpful if you're prone to missing things or getting caught out. If you want K-9000 upgraded as much as possible, here's the challenges involved.

• Enhance - K-9000 also tags turrets, cameras, tripwires and alarms. (Have K-9000 take 100 damage to unlock).
• Enhance!!! - K-9000 does increased damage against enemies either him or you have tagged. (Have K-9000 tag 24 security systems to unlock)
• Termination Protocol - When reduced to zero health, K-9000 detonates in a large explosion that massively damages all nearby enemies. No dogs were harmed in the making of this ability, except K-9000, obviously. (Have K-9000 kill 50 tagged enemies to unlock).

The only way to obtain K-9000 is to buy the Season Pass for Far Cry 6. This grants ownerꦐs the Blood Dragon Set, which includes a variety of cyberpunk and futuristic-themed gear, including K-9000 himself. Assuming you have this, you'll need to progress through the campaign up♛ to, and including the quest "The Guerilla", where you leave the starting island of Isla Santuario. Once done with that, you'll unlock all the DLC or pre-order content, including K-9000 and all the Bionic enhancements.

Champagne

You can only get Champagne as part of the Vice Pack, a set of extras you can buy that includes special outfits, weapons, vehicles, and this white 🌱panther companion. Described as a 'Status Symbol', this giant cat can collect more money from dead enemies initially as well as unlock the following abilities: 

• Greed is Good - Champagne will succeed more at takedowns when you have more money (kill 12 enemies to unlock). 
• Predatory Instinct - Loot enemies after a silent takedown (have Champagne kill 24 enemies with a takedown to unlock).
• Sonic Snarl - Champagne can knockdown enemies with a roar when she takes damage (loot 1000 pesos to unlock).

1. Look out for blue symbols to get info about your surroundings

You're told early on that blue is guerrilla color, indicating hidden paths or shortcuts to let you get around faster, or avoid guard patrols. There are also symbols to keep an eye out for that can give you more ๊information about where you are or what's nearby. Things like a blue eye indicate a good observation point to scan enemy locations for example. There are also signs hidden around to indicate safe houses, supplies, hidden paths, threats and more. Keep a look out and you'll be forewarned, and better prepared. 

2. Mod weapons sparingly initially, as resources are rare

There are a range of things you need to craft weapon mods like silencers and scopes but by far the deciding material is gunpowder. While there are plenty of materials to collect like seals and fasteners, gunpowder is the currency that pays for mods. It's generally in short supply and while you'll pick it up regularly from supply boxes and missions you'll never be overflowing with the stuff. Because of that, think carefully about what mods you need on what gun. Once yo🐓u've made a mod for a certain weapon class, like a rifle, it does unlock for every w🤡eapon in that class at least, making it worth specialising rather than spreading the wealth. 

3. Talk to anybody with a black exclam above their head for useful intel

As you clear out enemy bases and populate them with Libertad rebels, you'll notice NPCs with little black i🍒cons above their heads. These NPCs can sometimes appear in the wild too - either way, talk to them whenever you get the chance. They'll reveal a random area, quest or item of note close by. It's possible to discover some of the best quests and secrets in the game by doing this, so make it a regular thing. You'll also often get intel from rescuing anyone you see in trouble. 

4. Scan vehicles with your phone to summon them at bases

The game doesn't make a big deal out of it, but by scanning an empty car or bike with your phone you can add it to your garage summoned at bases and customised. You do this like scanning enemies while scouting out a base or fortress - just find an empty ride and look at it through your phone camera to start scanning. Once done, it'll add it to your menu back at your hideouts. Keep in mind that there can't be any NPCs♋ inside the vehicle, and it doesn't work on military vehicles like tanks or truc♑ks.

5. The Furioso Supremo helps with platforming, mobility and general destruction

While all the Supremos have their strengths and advantages the Furioso has a use beyond killing things (which it does by creating a ring of fire that burns enemies around you). It allows you to do an air-dash, leaving a trail of fire behind you that, though dangerous, is very versatile. It can help you in platforming challenges, escape enemy grenades, burn tobacco fieജlds and more. This ability doesn't have a cooldown either, you can use it on every jump. Definitely worth the uranium.

6. Don't steal kills from your Amigo companions

Certain Amigos, like good-boy-gator Guapo, have challenges based around killing enemies, and by completing these challenges they get new powers and abilities. In the heat of battle, Amigos will sometimes trigger attack animations or go for specific enemies in a way that leaves the foe vulnerable to a follow-up shot, but in reality you should probably lea꧑ve them alone, especially if they're on low health. You don't get anything for killing them, but your Amigo might get further up their challenge, so by stealing that kill, you're only hurting both of you (and the goon). Best to let Guapo or the rest of them finish what they'v𝓡e started.

7. A silenced sniper rifle always makes things much easier

Those who have played Far Cry games will know this already, but it remains true: a silencer on a sniper rifle is a winning combinatio♈n. Once you get a sniper rifle, save up your resources until you can put a silencer on it, then save up even more for a proper scope if it doesn't have one. With this set-up you can crouch on a hill at a safe distance from the enemy base and go to work. Shoot the alarm system panels to deactivate them, then starꦜt taking headshots at the enemy. Even if they realise they're under attack, the silencer will make it hard for them to work out where it's coming from, and even if they find you, you have a 500-meter head start to run, hide or prepare for them.

8. Take out any checkpoints you see for fast travel and easier exploration

There's two reasons to take out the Far Cry 6 roadside checkpoints spread across the map: firstly, while controlled by Castillo they put dow𝔉n spiked layers that'll damage your tires (the rebels helpfully remove those), and o🍸nce controlled by the blue team, they'll become fast-travel points you can use on the map to get around easier. Simply kill everybody there and blow up the attached billboard to take it for the guerillas, and make it a real habit! You'll thank yourself later.

9. Find anti-aircraft bases (and depleted uranium) easily by flying around

Depleted uranium is a valuable resource, used to buy the powerful Supremos and Resolver weapons from Juan, and is usually found at the anti-aircraft bases spread around the map. Finding these bases isn't easy, but there's a trick to it - simply get in a chopper and start flying around high enough. When you get into dangerous airspace it'll alert you on the map, but it'll also reveal the location of that anti-aircraft gun that's making it so dangerous. Get back out of the red zone before you're shot down, and head to the base at ground level. Aside from blowing up the gun and f🅠reeing that airspace, there'll be some depleted uranium there for you to spend on the game's best weapons and equipment.

10. You can destroy anti-aircraft guns with any vehicle

Speaking of anti-a🤡ircraft guns, you need serious explosives to destroy them. A gun or a molotov won't cut it, and when you're exploring Yara it's easy to find yourself thin on heavy ordinance. If you have an anti-aircraft gun in front of you, or any other major target, there's a trick to obliterate it without grenades or dynamite: find or summon 🌳a car, park it right up against the turret, and shoot it until it explodes. While gunshots do nothing to the big turret, they'll blow up the car, and that'll take out the anti-aircraft gun.

Should you spare or kill McKay in Far Cry 6?

Killing McKay in Far Cry 6 is a choice that occurs at the end of The Deported mission, and what you do depends largely on your personal priorities. On the one hand, the game really hasn't given him much value as a person or character. If he was leftꦆ floating face down in the ocean, nobody would cry about it except maybe a few shareholdeꦑrs. 

On the other hand, he's promising to make it worth your while if you keep your weapons holstered, so maybe funding the revolution is more important than an act of🎀 revenge? We'll outline the specific consequences to help you make a choice below.

Kill McKay

If you choose to kill Sean McKay, Dani gets a piece of equipment - the wrist item "Canadian, Eh?" When equipped, this item gives you a small amount𓆉 of Pesos for every enemy you kill with poison. Easily done with the right weapons and modifications, though it might not be as profitable as the alternative…

Spare McKay

If you choose to spare Sean McKay, you don't get any equipment - instead, he gives you 5000 Pesos and escapes. There's no real plot divergence either way; McKay is out of the story and he has no plans on coming back anytime soon. Yelena will be upset that he still live🅠d, but this just alters a few dialogue lines rather than the actual course of🦩 the game.

Best choice

Of these two options, we suggest going 🌠for the kill, though it probably doesn't matter much either way. At this phase in the game you're likely doing well enough financially-speaking that 5000 Yaran Pesos won't make or break you, but that's also the reason why getting that wrist band isn't especially essential. For what it's worth, you get roughly 10-20 Pesos for every kill done in this manner, so it's hardly a huge source of income and you'd have to go through a lot of poisoned Castillos to make 5000. If you're feeling especially strapped, let him go and pocket the money; otherwise feel free to blow his side parting off and walk away with a unique item.

1. Alfaro farm

The first photo location can be found on a hill west of Verde Lake and North East of Verde River. If you're flying over, the red buildi꧂ng on the side of the mountain should be easy to spot. Speak to the woman there who'll tell you her husband is dead and you can find him in the graveyard. Head to the marker that appears and when you reach the graveyard head uphill until you find the 'ghost' and hand them the letter. 

2. Santo Domingo

Even if you can't see the orange and blue building, by the sign with the guitar, just listen out for the shouting. The person you want is locked on the top floor of the house. To open the do🍌or, you'll need to ✨climb the building opposite and shoot the padlock off through the window. 

3. Oceguera Farm

There are some straw thatched buildings on the mountainside directly east of the Basilica De La Virgin. Land there, explore and Dani should say something about checking the workshop. Head to that and you'll find a flower you can interact with (Far Cry 5 fans might recognise the plant used to make the hallucino⛦genic Bliss drug). Sniff the flower and follow the hallucinations to find the your goal. 

4. Perdomo Farm

The sign in the photo is by a red bu𓂃ilding and some thatche🗹d roofs near the road. When you arrive you can find a key hidden under a hat in one of the thatched structures (the woman sitting nearby will tell you as much if you ask, but you don't need to). Use the key to open the locked red door just behind the seated woman to speak to the man inside. 

5. Barriga

You'll find this artist's white house surrounded by paintings on the waterfront. You'll have to clear out all the soldiers trying to get in (because someone painted someone else's wife) but once♑ they've gone, speak to the man inside to tick this one🍌 off. 

6. Flores Farm

When you find the statue by a river, head away from the water to a red building where you'll find a dog. Pet the dog and then follow it across to the rꦕiver to find two people. We're just going to let this one play out so you can discover it for yourself...

7. Corazon Ally, Concepcion

When you first 🍌find the painting in the picture, Dani will comment about the graffiti, and to find the person you need you'll have to follow the trail of images around the city. The map shows exactly where we found the target when we played but there are painting set ups near most of the graffiti spots which suggest it might be a random spawn. Just look for someone actively painting on the walls with a spray can. 

How to start the Far Cry 6 Radio Libertad mission 

While working with Maximas Mantanzas in Far Cry 6 you'll eventually unlock th🥃e Radio Libertad mission. Starting that will take you to Bicho at 🍌Cielo Gardens where he'll ask you to fix three radio towers at the location above. 

To do that you need to find one of these big switches at each tower and interact with them. However, they can be in꧑ different 💞locations and not always immediatly obvious to reach. So let's work though them in order and see what's what...

Far Cry 6 Radio tower 1

The first radio tower is surprisingly well guarded, and it's easy to end up with helicopters and reinforments. So be very stealthy while taking out the 𒁃enemies, or avoid confrontation altogether🅘 and sneak in - all you have to do to fix the tower is get in the main building next to it and pull the switch. 

Far Cry 6 Radio tower 2

The second Far Cry 6 Radio Libertad radio tower is by this apartment block and t♕he switch you need to pull is on the roof. The grapple points make 🌞appear like there's some fancy climbing to be done but you just need to reach the lower roof where you can use some vines to climb to the top. Once on top of the building you should see the switch behind a locked gate - just shoot the padlock though the chain link (you might need a bit of an angle) and then go through to fix the tower. 

Far Cry Far Cry 6 Radio tower 3

The final Far Cry 6 radio tower is on top of a mountain and if you approach from the southern side you should be able to grapple all the way to the top. This is the only time where the swi🍌tch you ne♋ed is actually on the tower so climb to the top and pull it (just watch out for the eagle). 

Stop Maria blocking the transmission from Tiano Peak Relay Station

Once all three Far Cry 6 radio towers are working you&✨apos;ll get a message from Bicho telling you the signal is getting blocked from Tiano Peak Relay Station. You'll be able to see your destination from where you are at the top of tower 3 so jump and wingsuit over.  

The relay Station is well guarded, so try stealth but prepare for a fight. Head first to this radio dish 𓆉to shut down a surge protect you can find by climbing up the structure: 

Once that's 🐼done you'll be able to grapple up this main tower a⛎nd shut down the transmitter. 

You can also pick up the unique shotgun 'COM.PEW.TER' while youre there, which has high caliber rounds and faster reloading if you swap a martially used mag. Onꦫce you've pulled the final switch you'll fry the relay station's electrics and the mission is done.

Far Cry 6 Cache Money treasure hunt location

You'll find the Far Cry 6 Cache Money treasure hunt by Esperanza west checkpoint, just outside of Esperanza in Madrugada. Th꧟e treasure hunt icon will appear if you get close but there's also a chance you'll get intel on it from speaking to any guerillas with the black exclam point over their heads. Once y꧙ou know where you're going, head to this Aguas Lindas building: 

You'll need to take a little care getting in if you don't want any trouble, as there's a lot of traffic going through the gate and a sniper tower overlooking everything. Onc🅘e you're inside, however,🀅 things are fairly clear. 

This is the building you're looking for, with the treasure hunt note on the⛎ guard booth by the barrier that explains Bunker 2 must remain closed at all times.  

Once inside the bunker head down the corridor to reach an office and storage areas (check the desk🅷 for an Assassin's Creed Easter egg note). Shoot the lock to get in the cage for some resources and a key card for the locked door. Inside the office look for a switch behind the desk to open a secret passage and inside there you'll find the Sobek Special sniper rifle, a unique weapon with explosive bullets.

You won't really find any as you play unfortunately unless you do specific missions or visit certain vendors, so let's take a look at how you can get Far Cry 6 industrial circuits easily and quickly. 

Far Cry 6 industrial circuits locations

Far Cry 6 industrial circuits aren't located in the world as such - the ones you can find are largely the result of mission rewards or bought from very specific vendors for equally specific currency. As far as we know, ther❀e are three ways to get industrial circuits in Far Cry 6:

• As a Reward for Bandidos Missions: There's a small chance that Bandidos operations will offer the player industrial circuits as a random reward. Keep an eye out for them both as main rewards and for the minor orders given at an operation's completion.
• Bought from Lola with Moneda: Lola appears at all three main Guerilla Camps as your contact to start co-op gameplay. You can earn her special currency, Moneda, by completing the missions she offers you, then spend it with her to get industrial circuits, among other things. Don't worry if you don't have any friends to play co-op with; you can play her missions solo to earn Moneda regardless.
• Sell Alpha Meat: Any regular merchant will sell industrial circuits to the player if you have Alpha Meat to sell them. Alpha Meat is obtained by killing the randomly-spawning Alpha Animals that spawn across the map, though you need to have built and upgraded the Hunter's Lodge so you get the Animal Anatomy Guide. There's no way to predict where these animals will show up though, so it's purely a lottery.

Far Cry 6 industrial circuits crafting uses

Industrial circuits in Far Cry 6 are used to make the game's best upgrades for weapons and Supremos, usually any attach𓆉ment that has a Rank 4 on it (the best they can get). You'll need them to craft effective attachments and move your arsenal into the mid-to-late game. That being said, industrial circuits in Far Cry 6 are never really common, so you shouldn't get into the habit of spending them willy-nilly or treating them as disposable.

While there's a lot of Far Cry 6 gear sets with five gear pieces for each one, they're not all equivalent by any means. A gear set might have four terrible pieces and one fantastic one, or maybe a gear piece is so contextual that it's only helpful in very specific circumstances. For that reas⛄on, we've listed some of the better individual pieces, that you can slot into whatever gear you've already found or help contribute to any specific builds you've be🐟en bui- assembling. 

Check below to find all manner of gear to help you fight throu💦gh Far Cry 6, and go lower than that to find some builds that 💫you can try out to help you master certain forms of gameplay.

Dark Tech Boots (foot gear)

For the more stealthy Guerrilla, you absolutely should get the Dark Tech Boots, which boost your speed while crouching and effeꦜctively bring you up to the standard movement speed. If you do a lot of takedowns and stabbings, this is pretty great, allowing you to sidle up to C♛astillos as fast as possible.

You can buy Dark Tech boots from Juan's Arms Dealers for 7🉐00 Yaran Pesos, and you don't need to build anything to unlock them. This is a real must-have purchase and we highly recommend it.

Fifteen Wishes (wrist gear)

For those who dabble in stealth and melee, the Fifteen Wishes bracelet rewards you for playing up close and personal,🌼 granting you Yaran Pesos for every takedown you make. It's not a huge amount, but if it's something you're doing regularly, 🔯you'll suddenly have a lot more Pesos than you would've normally, financing future purchases, bribes and upgrades.

The Fifteen Wishes can be found as part of the Passing the Torch treasꦉure hunt in the middle of Sierra Perdida (South El Este), along wit𓄧h a new weapon and other, lesser rewards. Just flick the three switches in buildings nearby to open the hut with it inside.

Fuego Mitts (wrist gear)

This one is an early get, but it remains good pretty late into the game, as th🌱e Fuego Mitts put out fire on Dani automatically. It won't stop you from taking fire damage if some hired goon puts a flamethrower in your face, but it means you're protected from the very common "on fire" condition which has to manually be put out and prevents you from taking certain actions while it is. 

The Fuego Mitts are given to you 💙byꦯ Julio in the early campaign mission "Fire and Fury", used to protect you while you burn down tobacco fields. Fortunately, you get to keep them for the rest of the game after that.

Hazmat Gloves MK II (wrist gear)

The upgraded Hazmat Gloves grant the player bonus damage - a lot of bonus damage - against enemies who are poison🍌ed. This sounds pretty contextual, but it really doesn't have to be with the right loadout. Get the Besito Resolver Weapon and some poison grenades, and you'💧ll find yourself pretty effectively working your way through opponents, a lot of which are turned to your side along the way.

Impact Vest (chest gear)

A lot of Far Cry 6 gear will reduce the damage you take from certain kinds of attack, but not by a huge amount and their specificity makes it hard to build a proper tanky build - what protects you from certain damage won't help against others. Autocrat

The Autocrat is a unique pistol that can be found incredibly early in the game, and is basically a general upgrade on any pistols you'll have found at that point - better dam✅age, better accuracy, just better overall, rather than having s🔴ome gimmick or twist. 

You can find it in Fort Quito, in a basement underneath the base. At first it looks as though it's surrounded by a chain-link fence, but circle around and you'll find a pallet leaning against it. This unique auto-pistol is basically a small SMG in denial, but we don't care. With a huge amount of drum-fed ammo and a ferocious 🔴rate of fire, there's very little that can stand up to it in the early game as it ꦦsprays death ahead of it. 

The Rococo Loco is obtained as a reward from the first Los Bandidos mission, Benito Bang Bang. Simply find its starting point♊ at any big Guerrilla Camp, and play through to the end.

The AJM-9 is a disgustingly-broken weapon, obtainable only by those who bought the Season Pass and got the Blood Dragon pack bundle🐈d in. A cyberpunk 🌳pistol that looks a lot like Robocop's, this gun has fantastic damage, accuracy, range and comes with a silencer.

You can find it in a chest at a small, unnamed restricted area in the Mon🌊jas Valley. It's lying out in the open and shouldn't b🅠e hard to spot, just make sure you've cleared the Castillos nearby.

While you might get lucky finding it in crates inside military-controlled zones, there are two guaranteed ways to get it. The ﷽second is to look for a treasure hunt in the Sierra Perdida region of El Este called A Little Birdie Told Me. That will see you chasing a pelican around th🦋e mountains and eventually earn you the gun from a chest at the end.

Viva Libertad

A unique weapon based on the FAL rifle, the Libertad has decent control and accuracy, which is good because of its special ability - headshots charge up your Supremo at a far greater rate than standard kills. By being🌞 more careful, you can effectively get a lot more use out of your ultimate abilities, and considering some of those include missile strikes, that means something.

You can find the Viva Libertad at the building at the base of the lighthouse to the West of the Qꦦuito Bay Blockade, North of Cayo ෴Seguro Peninsula.

Best Far Cry 6 sniper rifles

.308 Carbine

The Carbine is the sniper rifle that ea🅺rly players should immediately head for. It's not the best out there, but a couple of mods will bring it up to standard and make it a good early-to-mid game sniper, especially for picking off minor enemies from a safe distance.ಌ Can be bought from Juan's Arms Dealer for 1100 Yaran Pesos.

SVD

The SVD is ba🃏sically a step-up enhancement for the Carbine with better range, better damage, better rate of fire so worth swapping to as soon as you get it. Like most basic guns you have a chance of finding it in military crates in restricted areas but if you really want a better sniper and don't want to wait, upgrade your Guerilla Garrison until you can buy it fro🌳m a dealer. 

Best Far Cry 6 shotguns

Humidora

The Humidora is a surprisingly powerful wea♊pon for something you can find in the first Isla Santuario region. Head to the south east coast and look for the Punto Este Lighthouse i♒n Corto Cay to get this weapon.

It's a shotgun that fires incendiary shells that can create havoc with a few blasts. Even if you don't hit your target (it's not great at range) it'll set eꦬverything on fire and has a good rate of fire too so you can clear some space quickly and painfully. 

M133

For those who want something a little more traditional, the M133 is a good get. Heavy damage, solid impact, does what you'd want a shotgun to do - nam✃ely, blow holes in anybody who gets too close for comfort. 

It's found at the Castillo Senorial Tobacco Plantation in East Costa del 💧Mar, in the building where you first encounter Camila "La Espada" Montero as part of her mission. Just check the locker room downstairs from her and there's a chest lying in the open with the gun inside.

Spas-12

The SPAS-12 is probably the best semi auto shotgun you can get before you enter the realms of full auto chaose. It's precise, with great range and accuracy (especially with the Shotgun Shell ammo mod), and will one shot almost any enemy. You can buy it from dealers when you upgrade your Garrison enough, get lucky and find it in the world in a military crate, or look for the Passin🍎g the Torch treasure hunt right in the centre of Sierra Perdida in El Este. 

You'l🌳l have to find and flic✱k some electrical switches to open a locked door but once you're in the shotgun will be yours. Just pop the red chest to claim it. 

Best Far Cry 6 Resolver Weapons

El Susurro (nail gun)

El Susurro is a stealthy killer's best friend, effectively a short-range silenced SMG where overheating isn't a problem. If you sneak aဣround a lot, this i🎐s probably the best Resolver you can get, putting holes in any enemy without breaking the silence. You can buy this early from Juan's Weapons once you hit Rank 3, by spending 100 Depleted Uranium.

El Muro (shotgun/shield)

El Muro is one for tanks and aggressive players, a pistol-sized shotgun that blows holes in enemies and comes paired with a shield in the other hand, allowing you to do close-combat at far less personal risk. Like above, you can buy f༒rom Juan's Weapons for 100 Depleted Uranium at Rank 3.

La Varita (X-ray rifle)

A powerful semi-automatic rifle that boasts range, accuracy and incredibly high power, there's very few times where La Varita can't handle whatever you throw at it. However, it also combines with the Triador Supremo for fantastic effect, the two designed to be paired together. The Triador's effect allows you to see enemies through walls, but when you activate it while holding La Varita, the mystic rifle will fire through solid objects, the bullets phasing through surfaces and obstacles until they hit a 🌼target. At that point, simply fire through cover🍌 without ever raising your head, or snipe enemies through solid brick and watch them panic from inside a building.

It does bonus damage to animals, but its stats are already absurdly good, and it comes with increased range over the standard bow. Obviously there's loads you can do in Far Cry 6, so how long it takes to beat it, and the overall Far Cry 6 length depends entirely on how much you do, and how much you focus on the story. But, it's a big game whatever way you decide to approach it. If you decide to really drill into the story, avoid all the hunting and fishing and other side activities, only do a f𒁃ew side missions and things like specific 👍checkpoints, then you're still looking at a good 40+ hours to finish the game.  

For some comparison, I've been playing a lot of side stuff, juggling multiple story threads at once, and clearing out all my lower level missions before pushing on. I'm about 30+ hours in and nowhere near th🧜e end. I've only taken down one of the main bad guys and half my map is currently unexplored, so I'm not even half way through. And that's also with me not touching any of the hunting or racing. All I've been doing are side missions, treasure hunts, bases, checkpoints and so on. I suspect at the rate I'm playing I'll easily hit 50-60 hours before the credits. And, to be♕ clear, that's with me completely ignoring two major in-game activities. If you wanted to 100% things you'd easily be nudging 70-80 or more hours.

Far Cry 6 co op details

If you want to play Far Cry 6 co op online with friends, you won't be able to do it straight away. There's a certain amount of set-up and tutorialising that needs to happen first, so progress through with the main campaign until you complete 🌜the mission "Du or Die". Power through and you should reach that point within an hour and a half.

Once you do so, you'll get an alert🃏 that matches the one in the top-right above. At this point, your game effectively becomes drop-in, drop-out. Simply invite or join a friend by selecting the icon in the top-right of the pause menu, which will give you the optꦕions to play with friends, search for a random partner, or open yourself up to random invites to join games.

You can also set up multiplayer by heading to any major Guerrilla Camp and speak to Lola (or whoever has a blue icon above their head) for a Special Operations mission, which will sign you up for short-term co op missions with friends or random players. Either way, you'll earn🐼 Moneda, a special exclusive co op currency that you can use to buy items from the Black Market.

How many people can play Far Cry 6?

At time of writing, Far Cry 6 only supports two-player, online co op multiplayer. No more, no less. There's no couch co op mode, no way to play w🧸ith three or more players, and no way to play against friends, rather than with them. Of course, we'll be su𒐪re to update this page as we hear more, or if future updates change the limitations of the game.

How to find more Far Cry 6 gunpowder 

You'll get Far Cry 6 gunpowder from completing missions, but find most of it out in the world inside red red FND crates. Road checkpoints often have gunpowder ins🎃ide the building associated with them, so it's a good idea to clear out any you see as well as any bases or enemy locations you discover. (Just be aware that you migꦺht visit some places as part of a mission so you could end up clearing some places out twice, but only collect its resources once.) 

You can increase your chances of finding more by collecting int🎀el and rescuing prisoners to find out the location of more FND crates and caches. In addition you  can also get more from stealing airdrops, so if you see any yellow smoke plumes, race there fast  to grab the gear before soldiers take it. Also keep an eye out for these radio icons in the world and on the map: 

Finding and triggering these will start an airdrop with a time limit you have to race against to reach them. Get there before the clock ticks down and you'll be able to claim the airdrop for 🐎some gunpowder and other useful resources like Supremo Bond.

Far Cry 6 gunpowder locations

The ꦦmap above contains 25 locations where we've found Far Cry 6 gunpowder in the world so far. It's not an exhaustive list, obviously - it's the result of our passage through the game in the first 30 or so hours. You might take a different route through Yara and the available missions. However, if you want to collect some gunpowder fast this definitely will help you get started quickly.

1. You'll find your first gunpowder in the fort during Juan's Du or Die mission. It's in a red FND crate in the same room as the Uranium.
2. You'll find some gunpowder during the Sabotage the Viviro Nueve Plantation mission, on the roof of the blue building with the Biovida signs. 
3. There's some gunpowder on the bridge of one of the ships in the Quito Bay Blockade.
4. There's gunpowder on the ground floor of the mansion you visit as part of the Meet the Monteros mission.
5. You'll get some gunpowder as part of the second Chirozo mission, Fetch Quest, when you find him on Montero Farm.
6. There's some gunpowder between two of the blue and white tents during the Clear the Air mission where you have to destroy the poison tanks.
7. There's some gunpowder in the checkpoint here.
8. You'll find gunpowder on the construction site near the blue and white building you enter as part of the Blood Ties mission.
9. Look for a small electrical substation just off the main road here to find some gunpowder. 
10. The Castillo Senorial Tobacco Factory has a crate with gunpowder inside one of it's buildings. 
11. There's a checkpoint here you can take out with gunpowder in the main office.
12. Another checkpoint you can take down and find gunpowder inside the building. 
13. There's a prisoner camp here with some gunpowder you can loot from a crate. You'll also visit here as part of the mission Break the Chains. 
14. There's an Academy here you'll encounter during the missions Re-Education, with an FND crate containing gunpowder on the ground floor by the stairs.
15. Along this road is another electrical substation you can break into to steal some gunpowder from a create.
16. You'll find the Gran Roca Telecom Station on top of a mountain here with some gunpowder to take once you've cleared out the enemy.
17. There's a checkpoint here with gunpowder in the office.
18. You can find a monument here with some gunpowder in the square. You'll also visit as part of the mission to get Chicharron the roaster.
19. There's a hotel here with some gunpowder in an office. You'll also visit here as part of the mission Room Service. 
20. There's a coastal checkpoint here with some gunpowder.
21. The radio tower here has gunpowder at the very top (you visit this area during the mission Restore the Radio Network).
22. There's a mansion here you'll attack during the Secure Marquessa Villa mission. There's gunpowder on the ground floor just inside the front door. 
23. Clear the checkpoint out and there's some gunpowder in the office. 
24. Take out this checkpoint to get some gunpowder
25. There's a Biovida facility here with gunpowder inside one of its warehouses, it's also part of the mission Intervention.

For that reason,🦩 we've split it up accordingly, so you can skip ahead to whichever one you're currently stuck on.

Far Cry 6 Triada Blessings mission and Oluwa Cave location

To start the Triada Blessings mission, players need to find Oluwa Cave and read the note left ♈inside. This can actually be done incredibly early in the game - Oluwa Cave is on the starting island of Isla Santuario, just to the East of Clara's camp. We've marked it above, and once you're in the area you'll see chalk outlines with arrows leading you to the entrance (you'll have to do a bit of platforming and climbing to get there). Once inside, there'll be numerous ritualistic objects with a readable document among them. Read the document to start the Triada Blessings mission, which re♍quires you to find three Relics across the whole of Yara. Fortunately, the game does provide you with their locations, though it's not as simple as just going and picking them up. Also, before you leave the cave make sure to open the red chests nearby that have the gear "Oluwa's Heart" and "Eternal Dance" in them. It's the first two pieces of a set you'll have completed by the end.

Ida's Triada Relic at La Triada Mural

The first Far Cry 6 Relic is at La Triada Mural in Dos Monjas Mohote, in the Lozania region. Again, players will have to climb a cliff face using their grapple, then drop back down into a cavern, and once in there things get tricky. The whole area is a maze of criss-crossing zipwires, and the trick is to let go of them at the right time so that you can fall and grab another. It's all about timing, though if you equip the Furioso Supremo you can use its air-dash power to gain more control and catch yourself more easily. It's easy to get turned around in here, and missing the wire can sometimes mean whole sections need to be❀ repeated, but look for more chalk arrows to mark the path and check ahead to plan the route accordingly before you commit to it. 

At the end, you'll find the Relic in a haze of purple smoke, along with a 🍌piece of head gear called Ida's Sigil. Grab it, then use the nearby zipwire as a shortcut back to the cavern entrance.

Oku's Triada Relic at Fort Oro

The second Far Cry 6 Relic is at For𝓰t Oro, an abandoned fortress in the Arroz Flatlands of Cruz del Salvador. Here's the annoying thing - Fort Oro is actually locked during the in-game﷽ day, and as far as we know there's no way to accelerate or control time in Far Cry 6. If you show up during the daylight hours, the only thing you can do is wander off and kill time (and Castillos) until sunset. But once you get back, the door will be open, and things can get spooky.

Fort Oro is basically 𝕴a haunted house. There's no enemies here, just a series of gently spooky puzzles for you to prodဣ your way through. Specifically, here's the order of business.

1. Head into Fort Oro. A mirror will smash ominously when you get near it.
2. Walk into the room on your right. All the mirrors will smash in the same way, except one near the door. Break it with your machete to reveal a button and press it.
3. Head into the room opposite with TV screens on the wall and three big red buttons in front of it. Press the buttons in this order: right, middle, left, right. 
4. Now you should hear spooky piano music coming from upstairs. Follow it up to the piano, and read the note attached. Dani will try playing the music, which will reveal a secret door behind a wardrobe.
5. Go through and pick up the Dungeon Key on the altar. Take that downstairs and open the locked door across from the entrance.
6. Head down the stairs and through the iron door. Use your machete to break through the boards on the right so you can walk through the doorway.
7. Numerous spooky mannequins with shotguns will look at you, but they don't do anything. Neither do the rats on the ground. Walk straight past and press the red button on the pillar at the other end of the room. This will blow up the covering on the well outside.
8. Go through the new iron door among the mannequins to end up in a pit with a cannon lying in it. Grapple out and head to the well (which should have ominous purple smoke coming out).
9. Use the grapple on the extended beam hanging over the well to descend safely. Jump off halfway down to get to the ledge with a red chest that has Oku's Deliverance leg gear inside.
10. Descend down further and swing to the grandiose stone shrine surrounded by candles.

The second Relic, representing Oku, is resting there. Pick it up, dive into the water, and follow 💙the stream out of the cave for an 💦easy exit. One more Relic to get now. 

Mimo Abosi's Traida Relic at McKay Global Drill Site D

The final Relic belonging to Mimo Abosi is found in La Joya region of El Este, specifically at a cuddly-sounding location called McKay Global Drill Site D. This is a restricted area with several enemies watching over it, so we recommend you take them out fi🍒rst before dealing with the Relic. You'll also need to get the Fan Room Keycard from the little building overlooking it all from the South side of the area.

The Relic itself is actually behind several obstacles, but none are difficult to deal with if you know how. Firstly, simply shoot the lock on the gate to get into the mine itself, then when you reach the electrified water, follow the cable back to the generator. Machete the wood pallet out of the way, rip the cable out and you're safe to swim through. On the other side, use the Fan Room Keycard to access the industrial fans, turn them on and grapple down the elevator shaft. Down there you'll find Mimo Abosi's Relic at the ▨base of a tree, along with a chest holding Mimo Abosi's Mirage (foot gear). A set of rocks will collapse when you do, exposing an easy way to climb out.

How to get the Triador Supremo and La Varita Resolver Weapon

Now you have all three Relics, it's time to head back to the Oluwa Cave🍃. Fast travel to somewhere close and climb back in the way you did before. With all three Rel𝓰ics in your inventory, place them on the circle to cause a cave-in that lets you pass. Beyond is a tree with a red chest at its base - open it to get the new Triador Supremo and La Varita Resolver weapon, which combine to let you see and shoot through solid surfaces.

How to beat the Oluso boss fight and get the panther Amigo

Unfortunately, there's a guardi♏an - the panther spirit Oluso, who will now attack you along with numerous lesser panther spirits. Despite having just been given a rifle, we recommend equippi🧸ng a good shotgun or SMG, something that does close-range damage and fires well from the hip. The lesser panthers die in a single shot but Oluso has a lot of health, and all of them will appear out of nowhere to try and rush you. Stay agile and don't let yourself get swarmed. Oluso is the panther with yellow eyes, and the fight ends when they die, so focus your damage on them whenever possible.

Once beaten, the big cat doesn't die, however. Instead, they join your team as anജ Amigo, a stealthy and powerful Amigo who can silently take down foes at your command. All-in-all, a pretty lucrative treasure hunt.

Far Cry 6 map overview

This is the big overview of the Far Cry 6 map, showing the four main territories, Madrugda, Esperanza, Valle 🍸De Oro, and El Este. There's also Isla Santuario, which is basically the tutorial island the game starts you in to learn the basics and meet some key people. 

The characters in red are the various members of the main villain, Anton Castillo's government, who you'll be working to take down in order to weaken him. The characters in blue are the various rebels and guerrilla faction leaderꦯs you'll need to find and win over to do that.

While the overview gives you a general look at the regions, you can zoom in to see the full Far Cry map and just how big it is. Look to the north, for example and you'll see Castillo's base of Experanza is a full sized city. There are several large towns and cities scattered around the map where you'll need to holster your weapons if you do🏅n't to draw any attention. 

While you'reﷺ more or less free to move around you will meet various levels of resistance and want to rank up to stand a better chance - you can see a few areas there marked with skulls to show your chances of survival if you head there too early. There are also anti aircraft guns (the red icon💟s) that you'll need to take out before you can fly freely around. 

What interesting this time is that while the map is huge it looks full of a lot more varied this time, with urban, industrial and military areas, as well plenty of other different stuff t🌟o keep thing inter🔯esting.

If you're still unsure, there's a different between Supremos and Resolver weapons that even 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Far Cry 6 doesn't explain all that clearly. Supremos backpack are basic꧋ally like an Ult ability you can unless once charged - think things like rocket salvos, flame blasts and so on. While Resolver guns are basically special legendary weapons that might just be hopped up power wise, or have a certain unique ability. How to get Far Cry 6 Depleted Uranium and get more Supremos and Resolvers

The majority of Far Cry 6 Supremos and Resolver weapons are bought from Juan Cortez and his traders, unlocked after his first encounter mission, "Juan of a Kind" and expanding greatly after completing "Libertad Rises" and getting oꦚff the first island. 

From that point on, you can bu🍌y Supremos a🌠nd Resolver weapons by spending Depleted Uranium at Juan's shop on the Zamok Archipielago at the rebel headquarters, or by talking to any of his arms dealers in the main rebel bases. Depleted Uranium is found at anti-aircraft bases and key enemy fortresses spread across the map, usually in special containers that are marked on your map as you get close to them. You can also unlock more Supremos and Resolvers to buy as you rank up, effectively expanding Juan's stock and giving yourself more options.

However, it's also true that on rare occasions Supremos and Resolver weapons can be found in the wild, as a reward for completing certain quests and missions. These are definitely rare and the majority are bought from Juan, but it's still possible to find🐟 more without having to spend nuclear payl🉐oads to get them. We've outlined these special exceptions below.

How to use Far Cry 6 Supremos

Supremos usually provide the players with an "Ultimate Ability". They're large backpacks with powerful devices built into them and triggered with LR/R1, or LB/RB depending on your controller. These abilities vary but can often change the course of a battle. The on🔜ly thing is, they take time to refuel again, recharged by Dani killing enemies with standard weapons and attacks. 

Because of their cooldown time, Supremoꦏs shouldn't be used lightly, instead saved for the ideal opportunity. Use them to get yourself out of dangerous situations or to beat challenges that seem insurmountable. It can also sometimes be valid to use them at the very start of a big firefight, because ideally yꦅou'll have killed enough Castillos by the end to recharge it for a second use. 

Finally, Supremos serve as the means by which players carry equipment, effectiveꦚly modding onto each one the ability to carry cert🌼ain grenades, tools and explosives. This means that if you've kitted out one to hold dynamite, swapping to another Supremo means you won't be holding it anymore, at least until you go to a workbench and add it on.

There's a variety of Far Cry 6 Supremos out there, ra🍌nging from offensive, defensive and even healing powers, but here's some we found especially good and worth keepꦏing in mind - and all of these can be obtained early in the game too.

• Exterminador: The starting Supremo you get for free is one of the best, and remains hard to beat for pure offensive firepower. It launches numerous missiles that lock onto nearby opponents and do massive damage - what more could you want? For a simple, fight-ending Ultimate, this one is hard to beat.
• Furioso: The Furioso has a rather lacklustre ability, creating a ring of fire around the player, but what makes it well worth another look is its secondary power to function as a limited jetpack. By pressing the jump button again in midair, the Furioso allows players to air-dash horizontally while leaving a trail of fire behind them. This isn't a cooldown ability, players can do this as much as they want, giving a huge advantage in platforming, battlefield control and versatility. 
• Medico: The Medico is an outside choice, but works great for co-op and playing with friends. It revives and heals everybody in a close proximity for a time after activation, sacrificing firepower for survivability and making you Yara's own cleric healer. It's not especially helpful in single player, but nothing will make you more popular in co-op mode than strapping one of these to your back. 

All Far Cry 6 Supremo locations, abilities and unlock conditions

As far as we know there's a total of seven Supremos in the whole of Far Cry 6, offering a range of options when it comes to use. We've listed where to get them all below, a🅰s well as a brief description of their abilities so you know what to expect. 

Exterminador (starting Supremo)

As mentioned, the Exterminador is the best Supremo for pure offensive firepower, launching a barrage of homing missiles that should end practically any threat ahead of you. It's given to you for free by Ju🥀an early in the gaܫme, but you can use it effectively across the campaign.

Fantasma (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 3)

The Fantasma is a more insidious weapon that launches a salvo of special poison that drives enemies into a berserk state and turns them on each other. It's definitely effective, though it feels like it's taking a little more of a circuitous route to justও end up at the same place the Exterminador Supremo gets you to instantly.

Furioso (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 3)

We spoke about it already, but the Furioso's advantage is less the mediocre attack power, sending out a ring of flames, but it🐽s incredible ability to ꧋redefine platforming and manoeuvrability. It's secondary air-dash move has no cooldown whatsoever and leaves a trail of fire that can devastate nearby opponents (just be sure not to walk backwards into it).

Medico (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 3)

If you're playing alone this probably isn't a wise choice. Background health regeneration is not a bad thing by any means, but it's not better than missile strikes or poison gas. However, in the context of team attacks and revives, the Medico is much, much better, as restoring multiple team members to fighting form is much better than a single person getting someꦕ health back.

Volta (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 3)

A (somewhat) stealthier option, the Volta creates an EMP pulse that knocks down enemies, shuts down alarms and cameras, and allows you to hijack vehicles. It's not great, in reality - the trigger makes a short-range noise (not ideal for stealth) and once you're in a firefight it's aꦏ bit limited. However, it does have one key use - if you see an enemy running for the alarm, triggering the Volta will ensure they can't ✨summon reinforcements.

Gladiador (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 5)

A later purchase, the Gladiador is designed to trigger a berserker mode, boosting movement speed and healt🍎h along with your melee attacks. It's pretty contextual but also has the chance to be pretty fun - make a build bas🌃ed around tanking and running, cutting down Castillos like a juggernaut. 

Triador (complete the Traida Blessings mission)

The only Supremo that can't be obtained via Juan's Arms Dealers, the Triador is a mystical Supremo given to you when you complete the map-spanning side quest, Traida Blessings, which starts in ꦐthe cave East of the main hideout in Quito. It allows you to see enemies through solid surfaces, and when combined with the La Varita rifle (which you get from the same mission), you can shoot through walls and solid objects, making enemy cover meaningless. It's a pretty good Supremo considering you can use it both in stealth and combat, even if it does look a bit odd in a modern-day context.

Far Cry 6 Resolver weapons are special weapons th🍒at function unlike any other in the gam꧃e. Unlike Unique Weapons, which are basically reskinned standard guns with certain attachments, the Resolver Weapons are designed to be… well, actually unique. They might have weird effects or new powers built into them, and their oddness makes them all wildcards. It's entirely possible to build your entire loadout around on, and we recommend experimenting to see which ones speak to you specifically. 

Best Far Cry 6 Resolver weapons

We're still working our way through all the variety o🌳f Far🐠 Cry 6 Resolver weapons, but we've already found some exemplary firearms that players should try out.

• El Besito: Similar to the flamethrower, the El Besito instead sprays a mind-controlling poison that turns enemies to your side, not to mention fuelling any fire you spray it on. If you're outnumbered and in danger, getting several enemies affected by this can quickly turn the tide in your favour.
• El Muro: The El Muro is a short-range, pistol-sized shotgun. Though effective on its own, what makes it powerful is that it comes with a giant metal shield in the player's other hand. It's an incredibly good option for players who go aggressive, and pairs well with tank-focused builds.
• El Susurro: This nailgun works as a short-range silent pistol, punching holes in opponents and dropping them instantly if you can land a headshot. It's not quite as good in open warfare, but considering much of the early game is spent looking for a ranged silenced gun, this one will do nicely.

All Far Cry 6 Resolver weapons locations, abilities and unlock conditions

There are 11 Far Cry 6 Resolver﷽ weapons spread across the entirety of the map, and the majority are bought from Juan or any of his dealers for Depleted Uranium. Like with Supremos, more of these will unlock in his store as you increase your rank, and they have unique customisation options that usually play into their special abilities in some way. 

Tostador (starting Resolver weapon)

Gained for free from Juan as part of Resolver weapons' introduction, the Tostador isn't complicated: it's a fl🌌🌼amethrower, and that's it. Its range is decent and the fire it creates lasts and spreads, making whole areas dangerous, though it's a little hard to control and can work against you - after all, you're not fireproof either (at least not without the right equipment).

El Muro (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 3)

Again, the El Muro is very, very good. It's not especially versatile as a gun, but in terms of close-range, full-on combat it's hard to beat, especially if you build your loadout accordingly. The accompanying shield on the other hand won't protect 💯you from absolutely everything, but stay agile and keep the enemies ahead of you, and you should be able to punch th꧙rough whatever comes your way.

La Clavadora (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 3)

This big crossbow is ba🐽sically a high-impact sniper rifle, killing most foes in one shot and going through them into other opponents. It's best used in that context, from a distance and from cover. Once you're in a gunfight, it's time to switch back to something else, but until then it should be very effective.

El Besito (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 3)

Similar to the flamethrower, the El Besito instead uses poison to turn enemies to your side so they attack each other. The advantag𓃲e of this is pretty obvious - it's better to have enemies working for you than lying on the floor working for nobody. The disadvantage is that it can be a little tricky to get a proper dose of the stuff in your opponents' faces, but if you play defensively and let them come to you, you can start building a small army even in the middle of the fight.

Pyrotechno (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 4)

The Pyrotechno is a rocket launcher of a sort, firing a spray of missiles. It's pretty effective,🍸 though difficult to control, and the big thing here is the stun effect. Enemies who aren't killed by the Pyrotechno are dazzled by the blast and temporarily stop fighting, so this can be a good way to give yourself a moment's respite if things are getting dangerous.

El Susurro (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 5)

El Susurro is a silent, punchy nai🔯lgun that works well as a close-range SMG, and is a very viable option for stealth builds, especially early in the game. Try to get those headshots for an instant kill, and have a solid secondary ready for if things get violent -🃏 it's not the best in a proper battle.

Discos Locos (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 6)

An odd weapon, t⛄his one fires CDs silently at opponents, and covers a similar role as the Susurro before it. However, what it loses in rate-of-fire it makes up for in accuracy and range, moving from a short-range to medium-range weapon.

Zeusito (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 7)

The Zeusito is a very contextual weapon, an electrical cannon designed to take down vehicles by disabling them with EMP energy. Generally speaking, you probably shouldn't have this in your inventory, but in certain missions it absolutely can be useful. If tanks and helicoptersও ♏are up ahead, keep it in your build and use it to take them out early.

El Pequeno (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 8)

Another vehicle destroyer, El Pequeno is a vast minigun that suffers in accuracy, but devastates anything in front of it, metal or organic. The trick is to bring it into situations where accuracy isn't important 🐻- where there's lots of enemies, or where targets are big enough to catch the majority of the spray. Match those criteria, and there's very little that can stop you.

La Sorpresa (unlocked at Juan's at Rank 9)

La Sorpresa is the ultimate offensive sniper rifle, an explosive-round rifle that blows up targets at long range, effectively a tank cannon you carry with you. The single-shot nature means that high combat isn'𒀰t the idea; it's designed to be used on bases from a distance to deal with the biggest threats early on. Destroy all the worst aspects - tanks, turrets, heavies, etc - then deal with the rest as you want, having made the whole area safer.

La Varita (complete the Triada Blessings mission)

La Varita is a high-damage rifle for medium range, but while it normally has no additional effect, it&apꦑos;s designed to pair with the Triador Supremo. When using the Triador's ability to see through walls, you can shoot through them with La Varita, revealing and killing enemies all in one go, or killing Castillo without having to look above cover. It's a decent weapon before that, but a deadly one when being used properly.

How to get the Far Cry 6 wingsuit as soon as possible

To get the Far Cry 6 Wingsuit, players need to progress with the campaign up to the point where they unlock customisable and upgradable rebel camps. You'll need to be off the starting island to the point where the p🌟lot diverts into three separate paths with different rebel factions. Choose any of them and before long you'll unlock a rebel camp in which you can build and customise new structures withꦜ different purposes, using the materials you've been receiving from trucks and chests until now.

This is important - once you have the camp unlocked, you want to build a Hideout Network൲ at the Construction Desk. This will require the following materials:

• Metal (30)
• Gasoline (30)

The Hideout♑ Network has its own purposes, but packaged in with building it comes the Wingsuit! It'll be auto-equippܫed, so all you need to do now is find a suitable height, throw yourself at the ground, and miss.

How to use the Wingsuit

Once you have the Wingsuit, falling from any significant height will give you the option to🙈 trigger it, similarly to the parachute. Press the prompt that comes up (usually it'll be the Left Stick/L3), and it'll trigger the wings. From that point on, you can steer your fall, dropping to gain speed and momentuꦆm or pulling up into a controlled glide. Just be sure to activate your parachute before you hit the ground! It's exceptionally useful to get around faster by air dropping into a safe house and gliding to a location - it'll be faster than roads and you won't be bothered, even if it's enemy airspace. There's also wingsuit control options in the pause menu if you're having trouble steering, so feel free to tinker with those to your liking. You can even use the map to fast travel above certain points, so that you drop in from the sky rather than just appearing on the ground.

The Far Cry 6 locked chest on Guau-Guau Island

You can discover the Far Cry 6 locked chest 💦very early in the game when you're exploring Isla Santuario. It's a red treasure chest on the small island in the middle of Casas Cove called Guau-Guau Island, that says 'Locked - Key Required'. Now your immediate response is likely to scour the small island looking for the key, or maybe some sort of clue. Give up on that, because the key can only be found as part of a specific mission you'll get to later, which is coming up next...

The Far Cry 6 mysterious key

You'll find the Far Cry 6 mysterious key for the locked 𝓰chest when you eventually get to Costa Del Mar and the Montero Farm Guerrilla camp in Madrugada. Here you can find Chorizo's kennel where you'll be able to trigger a mission called Who's a Good Boy. That will see you hunting crocodiles to make some food for him. Once that's done you'll be able to access a second mission called Fetch Quest. Here you'll follow Chorizo around as he digs up presents for you to recover. One of these will be a 'Mysterious Key'. To find out what's that's for you'll have to go into the menus and completely ignore the 'Keys' tab as for some reason this item is in the Logistics section, where the description mentions 'Guau-Guau' is scratched on the side and that Dani 'thought I saw that on a beach somewhere on Isla Santuario'. 

Now, if you've already 🎀found the locked chest, noticed and remembered it was on Guau-Guau Island, then at this point there should be lightbulbs as you realise what all this means. If not, you've just got a key and some questions. Either way, head to the island on the map we showed you above and you'll finally be able to open the chest and claim the reward, a unique rifle called 'Fuck Anton'. 

Now this rifle isn't great for damage, but it does fire poison bullets that can make enemies turn on each other, and has rock-solid handling. Rather than outright assaulting bases🍃, use it to tag as many soldiers as you can, then duck out of sight while they kill each other.

The strongest weapon in Far Cry 6 is now Danny Trejo with a machete thanks to tw🧸o new, free missions starring the actor.

As part of the latest Far Cry 6 update, Trejo's come to Yara "to make his world-famous tasty t꧒acos to feed the hungry," Ubisoft explained. Not wanting to miss an opportunity for senseless villainy, dictator Anton Castillo sends his entire military after this taco operation, which is where you (and optionally a co-op buddy) come in. 

You can team up with Trejo in new missions, with the first appropriately titled "Danny & Dani vs. Everybody", to get tacos to the weary citizens of Yara. Clearing the first mission unlocks a new Special Operation called "Malagua", where you and Trejo "help students protesting Anton's military."  Feeding the hungry and defending protest rights: as ever, Trejo knows how to pick his battles. You get more than social j𝕴ustice for beating these missions, too; you'll also get an outfit and taco truck based on Trejo's look, among other themed gear. 

These free missions have rolled out alongside the PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, and Xbox One release of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Blood Dragon is included ꦿwith the Far Cry 6 season pass, but you can alওso purchase it individually. This 2013 spinoff holds up remarkably well, in large part because it's weirder than the last three Far Cry games combined. If you missed it back in the day, it's still worth a quick playthrough. Bet those neon dinosaurs look great on new-gen consoles, too.

Back in July, a collection of 1,000 current and former Ubisoft employe𝓡es signed an open letter to the company's management. The key demands expressed in that letter, as outlined again in a recent tweet, are linked to ongoing allegations of misconduct throughout the company. 

They point to a desire for "cross-industry collaboration" to 🦄help studios throughout the industry deal with similar issues in future, and ask for Ubisoft employees - particularly union representatives and those not in management positions - to be given "a collective seat at t🅺he table" in discussions over the future of the company.

The group claims that in the 100 days since its original message on July 28, "none of our demands have been met." Addressing CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot and mimicking the antagonistic email sent to lapsℱed🅠 Far Cry 6 players shortly after that game&a💙pos;s launch, the group has launched a petition for supporters to sign. The expresses support for the movement, and asks signatories to outline their own reasons for aligning with the group.

According to , this issue may be due to the UK versions of Far Cry actually being Russian versions of the game - meaning that those using UK-based PSN accounts are unable to upgrade from PS4 to PS5. In a , user contrab꧟ardus said that while playing on PC, they disabled the overlay for Ubisoft Connect - the service that ties together Ubisoft's loyalty program and desktop app - in an attempt to get rid of a notification bug.

Doing so reportedly "bumped up and stabilized my FPS significantly [...] I went from getting just below 60-ish FPS with dips as low as 48, to around 70-ish and no dips below 60." To turn off Ubisoft Connect on PC, you'll need to open Uplay, open the menu in the tꦗop-left corner of the screen, and head to settings. If you've currently got Far Cry 6 or any other Ubisoft game open, you'll need to restart it before any changes take effect.
