Along with those 300 coaches, College Football 26 adds 45 new formations and 2,800 new pl꧒ays. Another masterful design inclusion is quick subs, enabling you to swap in players at the line of scrimmage with a couple of D-pad presses.

Sure, you can spend money in Battlefront 2 if you w🙈ant to, but it's not necessary and mostly for cosmetic reasons.

Part of the charm lies in just how fun it is now. The maps are dense with detail – from the decadent marble of Naboo to the sun-scorched cliffs of Tatooine – and the game has 🧔been balanced over time to reward team play and moment-to-moment chaos, whether you want to squad up with your friends or run chaotic interference as a Sith Lord. You still get those cinematic multiplayer moments too. The blasters feel effective and every hero can kick arse, but I'm also wildly enthusiastic about💫 the little assault class shotgun that you can pull out to cap someone at close range.

There’s something else at play here too: the community. Against the odds, Battlefront 2 has developed an engaged fanbase. Hell, when I dropped in tꩵo play I found I was getting myself messed up by people who have been plugging away at the game since 2017, the video game equivalent of Japanese holdouts in the Pacific no༒t realizing the war was over. The war, in this case, was over as soon as we met each other and they shot me to death with preternatural ability honed by years of playing a mostly dead game.

Look closely, and you can still se▨e the cracks from where DICE performed kintsugi to turn Battlefront 2 into the best multiplayer Star Wars game out there. The live-service sheen is still visible in the bones of the UI, and there's only a few different weapons to fool around with. But in a world where AAA multiplayer games are constantly pushing new monetization gimmicks and early acc♛ess asterisks, Battlefront 2 feels weirdly refreshing in its final form as a solid, complete game that respects your time.

Which leads to an awkward question – how did EA and DICE mess this up so badly in the first place? And what does it say about the games industry that Battlefront 2 had to nearly crash and burn just to e💦nd up where it probably should’ve been at launch? These are tough questions, but important ones, because the story of Battlefront 2 is the story of how fan pushback can make a difference – and how corporate course correction, when handled seriously, can actually result in something better.

Wilson continued to tout the technology, claiming it would make game development "more efficient" and that "we've moved from being able to create stadiums in six months to six weeks." He also compared how FIFA 23 launched with 36 "run cycles," or animations, while EA Sports FC 24 had 𒈔1200. 

The EA boss reiterated that using AI would help the company build products "on a global basis at a faster rate" and allow developers "to get to the fun more quickly." He also claimed that "there is a real hunger amongst our developers to get to this as quickly as poss༒ible."

The team says they developed 61 vitiligo variants that can b♕e applied to any Sim regardless of skin to💧ne or age. 

Once you've downloaded the latest updat🅘e for The Sims 4, you'll find the new vitiligo assets in the Create-A-Sim mode, under the Skin Details category for both Face and Body. Here, you'll be able to select different options for your Sim's face, upper torso, lower torso, arms, and legs in a variety of patterns. You'll also be able to edit this as your Sim grows. 

It's always great to see Maxis and EA working to make its life-sim more inclusive, especially since vitiligo has 🥃also been an available option for custom characters in other games such as Baldur's Gate 3, Minecraft, and The Outer Worlds. As spotted by , the recently released Goth Galore pack - which introduces several new clothing, make-up, and accessor🐽ies for your Sim - features a hoodie that makes a surprising change to the Sims who wear it. Several players have reported seeing their Sims' eyes double in size when wearing the specific clothing item. 

"Is this happening to anyone el🐈se with the new Goth Galore pack for the Sims 4?" one Simmer shares to Twitter, along with a viꦆdeo of the bug in action. "Ummm... What's happening to her eyes," another shares with a clip of their own Sim experiencing the same thing. "Big problem with the goth kit, the hoodie gives big eyes to the sims when they wear them lol, please fix it quickly," another said. 

As funny as this bug is, the good news is that EA is already aware of it and has said it is in the process of creating a fix. "Our team is aware of the hoodie in the Goth Galore Kit enlarging Sims eyes when worn," The Sims Direct Twitter account "This occurs when the hoodie is worn & resolves once the hoodie is removed, but we appreciate your patience as we work towards releasing a fix as soon as🙈 possible."

The Goth Galore pack was just one of the latest expansions added to the life sim this month. Alongside the new outfits, we also got the Castle Estate kit, which gives players everything they need to design enchanting castles for their Sims - everything from stained glass wi🍸ndows to staircases and a gargoyle. 

This is just one of the upcoming expansions for The Sims 4. Earlier this month, EA revealed a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Sims 4 roadmap and the 'Sensationally You' season. It's hard to think about Battlefield and destruction effects without being reminded of The Finals, a shooter by Embark Studios, which is made up of a few former Battlefield developers. On January 11, EA and Maxis shared news🔥 of the life sim's upcoming Sensationally You season, as well as a short trailer teasing all of the content👍 we've got to look forward to. 

In the video, the developer teases two "highly anticipated" kits, 🗹one "beautiful" Sims Delivery Express (SDX) drop, one Sparkling Stuff pack, one celebratory build kit, and one co-created style kit - all of which are set to release between January - April 2024.

We do, however, have an idea of what one of those highly anticipated kits might be. If you've already got these two packs, don't be too disappointed as the several other DLCs available for The Sims 4 are also on sale. features discounts ranging from 20% to 60% on pretty much every expansion available, including Horse Ranch, Cottage Living༺, High School Years, Growing Together, and more.

We still don't officially have a release date for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, aka Dragon Age 4, but one developer who has worked o♐n the highly anticipated sequel may have just given fans a huge clue. Kevin Scott, a Senior Cinematic Anima🌠tor at EA, has listed Dragon Age: Dreadwolf as releasing in 2024 on their profile. 

In the 'experience' portion of the developer's profile, Scott has written: "Animated gameplay characters using mocap and hand keyed animation for Dragon Age: DreadWolf (2024 release)." This isn&apos🐭;t quite confirmation that we're definitely getting BioWare's highly anticipated game nexജt year, but it's enough to get fans excited.

To add more credibility to Scott's suggested release date, this isn't the first time we've had inklings of the game releasing soon. In May of this year, EA inadvertently confirmed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is at least a year away 😼in the company's Q4 and FY23 financial report. Here, the studio listed all of the games it plans to release in the next 12 months, and Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was nowhere to 🐬be seen. 

Again, this doesn't mean we'll definitely be getting the game next year, just that we very likely won't see it until at least after May 2024. However, things can always change. A few months after the financial results, it was reported that Draᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚgon Age♏: Dreadwolf was dealing with internal delays at BioWare, which was also affecting the development of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mass Effect 5.

Things also appear to be a little unpredictable with Dragon Age: Dreadwolf at BioWare at the moment. In a YouTube video titled "Asylum: Final Word," McGee reveals that he felt "emotionally quite destroyed" after EA turned down the team's proposal for a third Alice game, which would've been Alice Asylum.

Understandably, a lot of Alice fans were disappointed by the Asylum news, which resulted in several people giving the deꦺveloper suggestions as to how to get a new project off the ground - including devel💫oping a spiritual sequel or that McGee create a new game based on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland story as it's in the public domain. 

Unfortunately🔴, McGee says "the Alice rights are kind of complicated but it all boils down to I, American McGee, have no control over ownership in or ability to do things similar to or derivative of Alice and Wonderland or anything like it for the♏ rest of my life."

"At t💜he end of it all," McGee continues in the video, "the owners of the IP, Electronic Arts, made clear that they have no desire to see the Alice franchise 💎continued by me or anyone else." The developer urges fans to "please just move on" and send any future questions, thoughts, or complaints to EA instead, as it's completely out of their control now. 

As sad as this is, the good news is that Alice isn't completely over as American McGee's Alice is getting a surprise TV adaptation.

Over on the Titanfall subreddit, one downstricken reads: “There are Titans in the new Apex trailer, and I’🌸m afraid I might be losing hope.” One defeated commenter said, “It’s all led up to this moment.” Another fan , “If they are using Titanfall hype for new Apex content, that would just be salt in the wound.” Others in the thread weren’t convinced to jump into Apex’s newest season, even if it🙈 added playable Titans.

The announcement seems to have rattled the community because it potentially marks the end for whatever Titanfall mom🌠entum had been built up, but so💎me are also stirred by the lore inaccuracies on display. Redditors were “confused” about how the Titan batteries now seem to grant superpowers. “Found Titanfall’s version of Spider-Man,” one fan . Redditor had a more optimistic take: “We might not get Titanfall 3, but Titan𝄹fall 2 works now! That’s enough for me.” That’s certainly a respectable viewpoint. Gamescom 2023 is being held in-person at the Koelnmesse GmbH, the international trade fair and exhibition center located in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geoff Keighley is returning to Cologne to host Gamescom: Openingꦉ Night Live. The showcase will be held at the Koelnmesse in Cologne on Tuesday, August 22 and will be used to kick off the week-long event. Last year's showcase featured over 50 new announcements and game trailers, and 2023 is promising to be even bigger.

Xbox Live From the Showfloor

When: August 23, August 24, and August 2🧔5, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM BST / 4PM CEST

Xbox is set to have 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:its "💃larges🅺t booth yet" at Gamescom 2023, and while that's great and all fo🌺r anyone physically attending, the company is also set to share live coverage from the booth for three hours each of three days, making for nine hours of streams total. The Future Games Show is returning with its annual August showcase, with this year's event promising to deliver world premiere🍌s and fresh trailers from the most exciting console, PC, and VR games of 2023 and beyond. While we're yet to announce the host for this year's event, expect FGS to deliver another fantastic show♊case full of some of your most anticipated video games. 

Into the Infinite: A Level Infinite Showcase

When: August 23, at 10am PT / 1pm ET 💜/ 6pm ꧒BST / 7pm CEST

Level Infinite will be hosting its first ever showcase at Gamescom 2023, with Into the Infinite set to deliver updates on some of the publisher's most anticipated games. The show will reveal exclusive updates from Level Infinite and Tencent’s Global Partner Studios, and we're expectღing to see more of: Arena Breakout, Assassin's Creed Codename Jade, GTFO, Stampede: Racing Royale, Synced, Wayfinder, and🅺 more.  

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty REDstreams

When: August 24, at 7 AM PT / 💙10 AM ET / 3 PM BST / 4PM CEST

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red is set to d🧔iscuss several new features from the Phantom Liberty expansion as well as host a short Q&A session. Expect answers on Dogt🐼own, its characters, police systems, new skills, perks, and combat. And, of course, whatever else is revealed between now and then.

Panic Games Showcase

When: August 29, at 10 AM PT / 1 ෴PM ET / 6 PM BST / 7 PM CEST

Panic Games is hosting its first ever showcase on August 29. The company made a name for itself 🤪throughও the publishing of games like Firewatch and Untitled Goose Game in addition to the crank-handled hardware Playdate. Panic says it will use this showcase to "unveil the future of their games publishing roadmap" so we're expecting a couple of big surprises.

I've played FC 24, and the biggest shift on show here is player individuality. The general speed of matches is noticeably slower, affording you a touch more time to utilize specific abilities – Or 'PlayStyles', as EA has taken to labeling them in game. There are 34 in total, bearing names such as Jockey, Speed Dribble, or First Touch Control – much like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Madden 23 X-Factors. These show up in a player's profile 🏅with an orange or blue icon. Blue is the standard𝐆 version, orange the super-charged 'plus' version. Developer EA Vancouver's aim is to ensure players stand out for more than their attributes – and initial signs are encouraging.

Kevin de Bruyne was good in FIFA 23 – but not the game-changer of real life. That feels different now. Playing as Manchester City against both AI teams and fellow journalists, I wanted him on the ball at every opportunity. His orange 'plus' Pass Into Space Playstyle (each player can only have one of these), makes the Belgian devastating with slide-rule deliveries to Jack Grealish out 💦wide, or Erling Haaland through the middle. De Bruyne's blue Playstyles, meanwhile, encompass Bullet Pass, Lob Pass Expert, Outside Foot, Whipped Crosser, and Set Piece Specialist. Every time de Bruyne got the ball, there was a deadly option. Much like in reality. 

World in HyperMotion

Those PlayStyles aren't the only authentic step forward. EA Vancouver is also heralding HyperMotion V, a volumetric mo-cap method which took footage from 180 real matches – although standard mo-cap is still used for supplementary animations. Married to Simian tech, which sees body forms mimicked accurately, these 1.3 billion frames of new data means players run, dribble and flail their arms uncannily like their real-life counterparts. Haaland's huge sprint stride and wh💃irlwind elbows make him exhausting to try to defend. Adama Traore's breeze-block shoulders and formidab🍸le rear are a world apart from Grealish's sashaying twinkle-toes. Enjoyable stuff.

Do these꧟ solo tweaks come together to mold effective team play, though? On current evidence, yes. FIFA 23 felt like a return to form, but still descended into basketball style I-attack-you-attack mayhem at times. FC 24's slower pace, improved physically, and individual stylings add up to a cerebral experience – the kind that made Pro Evo so great in its heyday. It's a thrill to unpick defenses with the new precision pass (LT + RB + Y, on the Xbox controller), which brings up an aiming arrow showing the potential ball route. All this may change if the community bangs its drum for the r🅰eturn of 6-5 goal-fests, but these are promising pre-release signs.

The other huge step forwards is in presentation details. Stats overlays are ingenuous, with welcome visual treats – the last five shots shown in 3D as a keeper w💎aits to take a free kick, or little circles highlighting the most tired players when the🍎 ball goes out for a throw. There's a cool ref-view camera for yellow and red cards, and loads of extra details before, during, and after games: commentators appearing on-screen, dressing room footage, managers being interviewed, and so on. Guy Mowbray and Sue Smith also leap aboard as alternative comms options, with the latter an immediate upgrade on Stewart Robson.

Still wanting to know about that Ultimate Team overhaul? I know, I know, but let's whistle through some other modes first. Pro Clubs has been rebranded as Clubs, and will now oper🐭ate in six-week seasons, with leagues de♎cided by a play-off series at the end of each campaign. Player Career is all about selecting an agent and aiming for your dream club, with the ultimate individual prize on offer for the first time: the Ballon d'Or. Manager Career, meanwhile, is about building a club identity around one of seven tactical visions, such as Tiki Taka or Park The Bus. I'm not sure any of these are transformative, but can judge that upon release.

Breakthrough in equality

Come on, then. FUT. The biggest mode in gaming has been overhauled for FC 24, with that addition of female players changing its landscape entirely. 1,600 women footballers from 74 teams across six competitions are being added to the database, building on the breakthrough made by NHL 23. They're mixed in with the men, enabling you to build integrated teams of both genders. A 91-rated Sam Kerr will be on par with a 91-rated Karim Benzema. It's a step forward in equality that has surely been coming since 𝓡the Chelsea striker became the FIFA 23 cover star.

Inevitably, sadly, it🎉 isn't going to be for everyone. We've been here before with the all-female Ghostbusters cast, Jodie Whittaker as Doctor Who, and so on. So here's the thing: much like you're not forced to build an all-bronze Danish team, there's no decree that you need to include female players in your squad. Just want to stick with the famous male players you know? Do it. There wilꦚl be other players out there embracing this welcomed addition. You do you, and let them do them. I've been playing FIFA since those Genesis days, but now have two daughters – and this may be the breakthrough in getting them involved. There's no downside to this.

FUT is evolving in other ways too. Literally. Evolution cards enable you to upgrade players by completing objectives across the season. The example given was Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko. He starts off silver, but by playing two matches and scoring two goals upgrades to gold. Complete more complex objectives and he can upgrade again. Position switches in this way are also possible too, with the tempting possibility of moving Virgil van Dijk from CB to CM. EA has clearly been experimenting with campaigns like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:FIFA 23 Shapeshifters👍, with the end result thaꦛt this looks like a truly creative year for both FUT, and FC 24 in general. Particularly for those open-minded enough to enjoy Reece James and Lauren James lining up in the same eleven.

EA has just announced the new studio along with the upcoming game earlier today, on July 10. The studio is called Cliffhanger Games, and it's based in Seattle, made up of veteransღ of Monolith Productions, the developer which previously made both Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. There are also veterans from God of War, Halo, Call of Duty, and more on the dev team.

The new Black Panther game is being overseen by Kevin 💙Stephens, who also had a leading role on the Middle-earth games. "We're dedicated to delivering fans a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, ꦕgiving them more agency and control over their narrative than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game," Stephens says in a press release. 

"Wakanda is a rich SuperHero sandbox, and our mission is to develop an epic world for players who love Black Panther and want to explore the world of Wakanda 💛as much as we do," the veteran developer concludes. EA has revealed little else about the Black Panther game itself right now, aside from the fact that it's being developed in collaboration with Marvel.

This is pretty much the standard for Marvel character-oriented games. Marvel has worked closely with developer Insomniac over the years to make the Marvel's Spider-Man games, and will probably be collaborating with the studio again on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Marvel's Wolverine, which is still curr♍ently in development 🅘at Insomniac. 

The press release from EA mentions that Cliffhanger will be building its team over the "next few years," so it'll likely be a good while before we see anything of the new Black P💟anther game.
