At first blush, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007: First Light looks like quite the departure for Hitman developer IO Interactive, but apparently it's also not the straightforward, Uncharted-style a🌱ction game that it appears to be. Fear not, there's still plenty of Hitman DNA in there.

We caught up with IO's 007 franchise director Jonathan Lacaille during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, and we basically asked him for a vibe check. Is 007: First Light the linear, cinematic action game it looks like in its from this week, or can we expect to see more of the Hitma🌱n series' systems-dri🌠ven design that IO has become known for these days?

"It's neither,♓" he said. "IOI has a pedigree, and that fits really well with the [007] IP, so we are leaning into that, of course. But🐬 that would not tell the full story ... we are leaning a lot on what IOI does best."

So, it definitely sounds like I🎐OI diehards won't be left wanting for the studio's signature style, but Lacaille added that, "We had to come up with a lot of new things that IOI had to learn and to reiterate on to really bring the Bond experওience."

He mentioned dri🧔ving as an example of a new gameplay mechanic IOI had to learn, as the Hitman games don't have driving. Shooting guns, likewise, is something you really don't want to do much in Hitman, but naturally in a game like 007: First Light, it's a big part of the experience. Still, Lacaille stressed that "we don't want the game to just go by shooting and shooting and shooting. We want to give the player a lot of tools to feel as smart as Bond in the game."

After a somewhat conspicuously long period of silence, 007: First Light is slated for launch next year on PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store.

007: First Light devs chose a James Bond origin story to help be "more relatable" to a "younger audience maybe than the Bond franchise is used to"

Horror heads endured quite the rollercoaster during last night's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 keynote, and it's all because of what can only be viewed as some sort of deranged prank from the minds and marketers of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Resident Evil 9, now Resident Evil Requiem, which 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:got a new trailer about half an hour after Capcom pulled some se🐷rious shit.

I was coveriꦏng the show last night🔴 as part of the GR+ news crew, and I'll give you a peek behind the curtain at the most traumatizing part of the night for me. We were about halfway through the show, and my irresponsibly confident anticipation for RE9 made it hard to care about much else.

And then SGF host Geoff Keighley started talking about the "30th annᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚiversary of a legendary franchise" before transitioning to a brief animation showing the Resident Evil series' iconic Racoon Police Department typewriter, the zoꩵmbie used in a lot of the promotional materials for the original Resident Evil, and finally Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village.

I was nauseous. This doesn't look like Resident Evil 9 at all. Something is very, very wrong here, I thought.

And then Lady Dimitrescu actor Maggie Robertson appeared with a glass of wine and a cheers to Resident Evil's 30ꦿth birthday. So filled with existential dread was I that I just about joined her.

Then appeared Capcom legend and Resident Evil executive produce📖r Jun Takeuchi, who proceeded to rip my heart straight from my chest and dance on it with Geoff's u🌞gly shoes.

"About the latest Resident Evil game you've all been waiting for, bear with us a little longer. Just a blink of an eye more, and it'll be ready. We're incredibly grateful for your ongoing support of the Resident Evil series," he said, wine glass in hand from his living room. I need a minute. I needed one then as I watched this atrocity, and I need another now writing about 🐬it.

The crashing out had already begun. "TF WAS THAT," I sent to my upsettingly composed colleagues who had already moved on with their lives like normal people. "that was honestly so fucking troll smdh," I wasn't done. I needed to be heard on the world stage, or at least as much of the world stage as the good and true GamesRadar+ could possibly offer me. I started furiously bash﷽ing away at my keyboard with a headline akin to "you've gotta be kidding me🧸..."

My anger blinded my reason. As a seasoned gaming journali🐻st, I should've been able to sniff out Capcom's long game here, but I didn't. 20 minutes later, I had written about 400 words of utterly unhinged copy I'm not even sure would've made it through my editor's filter. I didn't care; I had Things to Say, and I was going to say them.

Jus🐠t as I was ready to submit my copy for edits, I was hit with a wave of commiserations from my co-workers. At first, I figured they were still sympathizing with me over the fakeout, and then I saw the fl🍷urry of messages like "WE'RE SO BACK" and so on, and I realized the real Resident Evil 9 reveal was happening right at that moment. I returned my attention to the SGF stream, and there it was, seconds from being over, Resident Evil Requiem. The whiplash was swift and disorienting.

Worst of all, I was made a fool of. Even with seven years of experience covering these sorts of shows, I fell for Capcom's cruel joke hook, line, and sinker. The only thing I could do was look for solace in the ☂community I knew would most acutely share my pain: Resident Evil Reddit, and it didn't fail me.

"Bro is a bait specialist," reads one presumably referring to Takeuchi. "Imma not gonna trust꧑ this dude anymore ever."

"That sly fuckin s🐼ide eye, man knew he would get us," reads .

"I have enough bait for an entire weekend fish trip," reads . "I have been baited thrice. To wait sale offers, the just a blink moment, and the blonde girl at FBI that had a similar forehead to Jill.ꦿ"

"This made me so mad," reads a from my fellow fool. "I was gen🅠uinely so pissed nearing the end of the show, but then screamed in joy at the end. Also, ILL & JWE3 look amazing, too."

...And so on. You got us, Capcom. You really did. And I will just say, you're lucky the Requiem trailer was just promising enough to earn my forgiveness, but you'll never have my full trust.... until literally the next time you say anything about Resident Evil ♔9.

Resident Evil 9 Requiem references have been spotted in Resident Evil 7, a game that came out 8 whole years ago

Between a Sifu-like brawler evidently made by one developer and a mere nine friends and Clair O💧bscur: Expedition 33's development team purportedly being less than 30 people – it's no⛎t, even if we are just talking about the core Sandfall staff – the Summer Game Fest live kickoff was both fixated on, and wrong about, how many people made some games.

"My favorit𒐪e part was 'solo developer, with the help of 9 of his ♊friends,'" , of The End is Nigh and Bombernauts.

Indie hits like REPO and S𓄧🔜chedule 1 got a shoutout early in the show, with host Geoff Keighley celebratin🦂g their ability to match and even outpace AAA giants despite their small development teams. These hugely popular games were, indeed, made by small teams, and it's great to see them reach this level of acclaim.

But this narrative seemed to balloon throughout the show, with purely hypothetical teams getting smaller and smaller as if to embellish the relationship between how many people make a game and how good or successful that game is. Everyone loves an underdog, right? On our current course, we'll soo💫n praise games developed by just one embryo in the womb.

Balatro's Localthunk woꦉrries this juxtaposition plays into a "Davi🗹d vs. Goliath narrative." It may wrongly pit devs against each other and make a spectacle of who can have the smallest team.

"People and media often say Balatro was made by 'one guy,'" he posted on . "I feel like that unfortunately may be stoking the flames of this David vs. Goliath narrative a tiny bit. No it was not 'one guy', look at the dang in-game credits." (I'll cop to it now: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:we have said "Balatro creator", and w꧟e're de🦩finitely not alone. We'll get to that.)

Clair Obscur Expedition 33

Looking at the dang credits is a useful solution to this unnecessary debate. Think of the best-known 'solo,' which often really means most visible, devs of the past decade or so. Undertale's Toby Fox? Countless other artists, designers, localizers, programmers, producers, concept artists, . (澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Deltarune, even more so.🌠) Stardew Valley's Eric Barone? ConcernedApe is a whole team now, with QA, platform support, translation, , .

At the same time, right at the start of these credits, archived by Moby Games, you may see listingsܫ like, "Undertale, by Toby Fox." Similarly, : "I am localthunk, th🔯e developer and artist for Balatro, and today I'm joined by my publisher Playstack."

This is absolutely not me calling Localthunk a liar or a hypocrite. (The framing for this AMA may well have been written by Playstack, for one.) And again, we – I – have said "Balatro creator." And I think there are⛎ reasonable ways to talk about the defining creators of games without losing sight of the bigger production. Eric Barone made Stardew Valley. This is not an unreasonable thing to say. () If I asked you w𒁃ho made Stardew Valley, it would be unreasonable to answer in any other way.

One problem is that people don't seem to agree on what "creator" means. The origin and evolution of a game is sometimes attributed to one person. XCOM's Julian Gollop, Death Stranding's Hideo Kojima, Dragon Age's David Gaider, even Demon's Souls' Hidetaka Miyazaki. Some devs specifically want to be called the creator of som🌜ething; Dead Space's Glen Schofield comes to mind.

The solution to this, increasingly, is to be more spec🌌ific about who came up with, pitched, shepherded, and worked on a game. Game dev is a pretty broad title, and more obvious disciplines like art and programming, the sort of conventional design stuff that people like to use to portray game development in horribly cringe movies and TV shows, is only part of it. Much the same goes for this team size discourse.

Stardew Valley

It can feel like semantics, but the fact is almost nobody in the games industry is actually an island – and I've personally spoken to a ton of all-but-solo developers in my career. One of them is Joakim Sandberg, who made Iconoclasts. (: "Game by Joakim Sandberg.") Sandberg comes to mind now because, as part of my recent developer roundtable on w🌃hat people get wrong about games, he disputed the idea that "one person, like the director, is responsib෴le for every popular aspect of a ga🌳me. Video games have many directors ... A game is its team, not its auteur."

It's important to distinguish between who the core, lead creatives and developers on a project may be – that'd be your in-house staff like Expedition 33's Sandfall – and who all actually pitched in to get that project shipped. And I can see where this discourse has come from. If you don't read the dang credits, and most people don't, it's easy to miss. My counterpoint is that, as a general rule, it's also easy to assume: yeah, it was probably a lot more people th🍸an it may seem.

Solo development often𒉰 means something like: one person handling almost every task and discipline themselves, with supporting staff working in their orbit and under their direction or cooperation. The solo developer is still the one with the gravitational pull, but they aren't actually alone.

At its launch, there was a similar back-and-forth over how many people made Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and there are absolutely holes to be poked in the myth that it was under three dozen peopl༺e🔜. That might be the Sandfall team, but loads of other folks contributed to the game's release and success. This is the case with nearly every project.

What seems to have changed now, as some developers have worried, is how these roles and nuances are presented. The glorification, or borderline weaponization, of the reputation of a small team, as if their smallness is some dramatic challenge for them to overcome in the face of the AAA villain. There's a world of difference between lead and alone, and in that world, you'll find essential credits owed to countless external, contracted, thir𓆏d-party, or otherwise support🧸ing developers. And louder than ever, this was overlooked on the Summer Game Fest stage.

"I feel like we're entering the age of 'we're not like those OTHER studios' pick me marketing and I'﷽m a bit worried about it," .

"It’s incredib🀅ly noticeable how often ‘and an army of outsourcers outside America and Western Europe’ is left out of these team sizes," . "That’s the part I find real uncomfortable."

Bithell : "I think it’s absolutely cool to talk simply ab💜out team size as ‘number o𒅌f people my company directly employs’.. It’s when that becomes a key marketing point I get uncomfortable."

Here's everything announced at Summer Game Fest 2025.

Today's Wholesome Direct presentation was full of wonderful 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming indie games filling Summer Game Fest with cozy vibes, but as a retro conno𒁃isseur, my absolute favorite reveal of the show was Milano's Odd Job Collection. This gorgeous PS1 game never made it out of Japan back in the day, but a quarter-century later, that's finally changing thanks, in part, to an excellent fan translation group.

Milano's Odd Job Collection has you play as an 11-year-old girl named Milano, who's off on a 40-day summer vacation. You choose how to spend yꦜour time each day, but you spend a lot of it working various part-time jobs, which take the form o🐬f minigames where you do things like deliver pizzas, or milk cows.

Yes, sure, technically this is a game all about child labor, but look… it's just so darn cute. You'll build up Milano's stats over time, which influences what kind of jobs you can take, and you can spend money on furniture to decorate your little house. You can also choose to e💯scape the rat race and just spend a day relaxing whenever the mood strikes you, so this isn't purely a capitalism simulator.

The original game was known as Milano no Arbeit Collection – Arbeit being a Germ🐻an loanword used in Japan for part-time work – and it was released in 1999 by Westone. If you know Westone's name, it's probably because of the Wonder Boy series it developed for Sega through the '80s and '90s. The company's background in adorable 2D characters arguably hit its peak with the beautiful pixel art for Milano.

The game's official English translation is being published by XSEED across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, but perhaps the more intriguing name attached to the release is Hilltop. This fan translation group has spent the past few years releasing excellent, but unofficial English patches for a wide range of cult classics and genuine obscurities, ranging from a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:wild Sega rhythm game to a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:lost Mega Man Legends spin-off and the 澳🍒洲幸运5开奖号꧑码历史查询:utterly wonderful Boku no Natsuyasumi 2.

Boku no Natsuyasumi ൩2 quickly became a personal favorite of mine when I finally got to play it thanks to Hilltop's translation, and I'm beyond thrilled to see their work recognized to such a degree that they're now working on official 💧localizations of lost cult classics. Here's hoping Milano is every bit as endearing as it looks.

A new age rating for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ghost of Yotei reveals that perhaps the best bit of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ghost of Tsushima is co⛦ming back in the sequel. And, yes, I mean you'll get the briefest look at your character's backside as they jump into the hot springs to reflect on their terrible mistakes.

officially slapped an M 17+ rating on Ghost of Yotei, mainly citing its excessive violence since, as you might have sussed out, this is another bloody revenge story. The certifications board pointed to the game's🌱 depiction of decapitation, dismemberment, blood splatter, impalement, and stabbing, sometimes in slow-mo, as justification.

It also called out how "cutscenes depict additional acts of intense violence: characters burned at the stake; a man repeatedly stabbed 🙈with a knife; a character slitting their own throat." Just the jolly stuff, you know. Beware.

But further dow🐎n Yotei's list of NSFW sights comes confirmation of our hot spring butts. "During the course of the game, a female character's exposed buttocks is depicted in a hot spring."

The hot springs in Ghost of Tsushima predictably went viral when it launched in 2020, mainly because, again, you got the briefest look at Jin Sakai's peachy poster🌞ior. Did it go viral with people who found it funny or people who were just really thirsty? I'm not too sure. Either way, it's cool to see the usually straight-faced series carrying ꧑on a soon-to-be tradition that's not completely about bloodshed.

And in case yo🍒u're curious, ESRB also mentions that you can get drunk off of sake and enter drinking games, "resulting in screen-blurring effects." Very n🍸ice.

Ghost of Yotei devs know "how ignorant we were about Japanese culture," but as with Ghost of Tsushima they've had "cultural advisors" to help "deliver a respectful representation" of Japan

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:He's not returning for Death Strandin🎃g 2, but Mads Mikkelsen's latest video game rolꦜe sees him play James Bond villain Le Chiffre as a new target for Agent 47 in Hitman: World of Assassination. In a recent Q&A following Hitman studio , Mikkelsen and Agent 47 actor David Bateson discussed the fringe project that first brought them together, which ironically saw Mikkelsen kill Bateson's character.

"Mads and I worked on a small෴ film toge💛ther back in [1998, 99]," Bateson begins.

"94," Mikkelsen replies.

That film is , a ꧙short adaptation based on Edgar Lee Master's 1915 poem collection, the Spoon River Anthology. Online records indicate Bateson was right about the release date: 1999. The whole thing is on YouTube h🃏ere:

ไ"Oh my god. Who am I again?" Bateson continues. "Anyway, you were at drama school, which is scary. We did this little movie. It was a love triangle. He was having an affair with my wife. The short story is this: it's set in 1895, I go away hunting, he turns up to seduce my wife. She is putting sheets out on the line, and he starts sneaking up and♏ fumbling around with my wife.

"Anyway, he did something – I'm watching this scene, he's about 25, 30 feet away from me, I'm standing next to the director, we've got a monitor in front of us and I'm watching it live. He goes and leans against this pole as she's putting these sheets on the washing line, and he's like, waiting for 𝓡ya, I'll wait. And then he does something that totally rocked my boat. He starts spitting – because he's such a romantic guy. He's looking at her, his arms are folded, and he just [spits]. And he does this a couple of times.

"So I lean across to the director, and I'm going, wait a minute. That's not very sexy. And I'm looking at him doing it live, and then I look at the monitor, and something was insane. It was brilliant. It was sexy and raw and just, oh, I'm gonna, I'll let you finish and then you're m♓ine. The point is, I leaned across to the director, during the take, and I whispered to 🍬him, does Mads know what he's doing? And the director said, 'I don't think so, but don't tell him.' Because it was insanely good."

"It worked🥃 on your ꦅwife though," Mikkelsen cuts in.

"I'm rather pleased about that because she's here tonight," Bateson responds. "That was maybe a sign of what ♏was to come. And I've waited 100 years to tell you this story of the talent I saw that day when he was still studying at drama school. Give it up for Mads."

Mikkelsen says he previously had "no idea" that Bateson pl﷽ayed Agent 47: "I walked into the room today and the guys were pitching me the game and I was watching it, and all of the sudden, the hitman comes in and I'm like, wait a second, is that David? So yeah, it was my very first thing I ever did, and I got to shag his wife and kill him, so let's see what happens in this game."

"Yeah, you killed me," Bateson says. "Asshole."

007 First Light is "a distinct and separate universe," says IO Interactive, despite Mads Mikkelsen's Le Chiffre coming to Hitman.

Following the arrival of Sony's hotly anticipated 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play showcase earlier this week and the first look it provided of 澳🔥洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy Tactics: The ✅Ivalice Chronicles, OG director Yasumi Matsuno has finally addressed a fan-edited quote that's bee🍰n fooling us all for years.

"If the penalty for a crime is a fine, then that law only exists for the lower class." It's a line many Final Fantasy Tactics fans know well, but there's a c🅺atch to it – it never actually appears in the 1997 RPG from Square Enix. Aftermath explored into believing it truly originated from the game in 2023, only to later present in Final Fantasy Tactics – the very one turned into a meme by .

"What purpose do laws serve when even those who would enforce them choose not to pay them heed?" That's the real in-game line, but according to Final Fa⛄ntasy Tactics director Yasumi Matsuno, the one more commonly shared isn't exactly unrealistic, either. "I found t⛦he line that became an internet meme interesting," writes the lead in a new , going on to recite the viral "penalty for a crime" quote known so well in the community.

"Of course, this line was not written by me, nor is it a line in Final Fantasy Tactics," admits Matsuno. "However, it certainly sounds like something I would have written. It's a shame I didn't know about this f🐭unny line until today." Replies under the director's post mention just how many folks actually believed the meme's line was real, prompting Matsuno to respond that it might simply be because a majority of players didn't get far in-game.

"Wiegraf is very popular," he jokes. "I am sure it is because many players stop playing at Chapter 1." Elsewhere in the comments, Matsuno addresses a fan's question about politics in Final Fantasy Tactics, saying that while the line and themes surrounding it can be perceꦡived as political, the RPG's primary purpose is to ♏entertain its players: "It's entertainment, so whether or not it's political, the important thing is whether or not it's entertaining."

There's no telling what the line will look like in The Ivalice Chronicles come the remake's big release on September 30 this year, but one thing's for certain – there are likely bound to be plenty of new memes made by fans to enjoy and speculate about post-launch.

Need something to look forward to? Here are some 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games coming this year and beyond.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007 First Light isn't the only James Bond-related projec♉t IO Interactive had been keeping under wraps, as the studio has also brought Mads Mikkelsen's iconic Casino Royale villain Le Chiffre in for Hitman's latest Elusive Target. Just don't expect this to be t𝔉he start of a larger connected universe bringing the two franchises together.

"What you saw from First Light, it's a completely original Bond and a completely original universe," senior Hitman level designer Martin Ansdal te🌼lls me in a Summer Game Fest interview. "I think they want, really, to design a Bond for video games, and that has to be a distinct and separate universe. So there's no plans for crossover."

Since Le Chiffre is a character pulled from the Daniel Craig movie universe, he "would not have been able to exist" in the same world as new game 007 First Light, Ansdal continues,🌱 "because that 🍷creates confusion about what universe it is."

As IO sees it, "you can h꧅ave Mads Mikkelsen as a guest star in theꦏ World of Assassination, but it's important to state that does not imply a larger, shared thing."

Regardless, Le Chiffre's appearance in Hitman has given the team room to create🍌 something "more ambitious" than previous Elusive Target🅰s, and Ansdal says that's important for the studio, the Hitman brand, and himself as a designer.

"When I go to work, I don't try to make 'content.' I try to do something special, like something that doesn't exist in other games. An experience you couldn't have in any other game. [No] other 🅠game will have you dress up as a flamingo and kill Le Chiffre wit🍌h a banana peel he slips on. You cannot get that anywhere else."

Colorful third-person shooter Splatoon 3 wasn't one of the OG Switch games to receive a Switch 2 update like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and although players have identified many games running better on the ne💯w console without a patch, squid fans have found a bizarre Switch 2-exclusive bug 🐭that's giving them an advantage.

As discovered by and further highlighted by OatmealDome on Twitter, Switch 2 Splatoon 3 players can currently take advantage of a "GAME-BREAKING BUG" tꦍhat lets them 🔥"SQUID ROLL ANYWHERE LOL."

"Game breaking" is a bit of an exaggeration, but this is still a pretty big deal. Squid Rolling is a movement mechanic introduced in the 🦂third Splatoon game, which allows you to quickly twirl out of your ink to change direction. It briefly reduces damage taken, and can be used to dodge certain attacks, retreat from danger, or otherwise reposition yourself.

But, again, the idea is that you're only meant to be able to do this if the surface you're on is covered in your own ink. If you're in the middle of enemy territory and are getting shot with their ink, chances are you 🔜won't be☂ able to roll out of danger quite so effectively. Or at least, you can't on the Switch 1 version – on Switch 2, players have now reported being able to Squid Roll on un-inked surfaces, as well as on enemy ink. Needless to say, this could give Switch 2 players a huge advantage if used well.

How does something like this happen when the game hasn't been updated, 🗹though? That's still not known for sure, but OatmealDome has shared some speculation. "This might be an issue with Switch 1 GPU emulation/translation, since Splatoon games have had issues with ink detection in unofficial emulators due to bugs in their GPU emulation," they suggest.

It seems unlikely that Nintendo is going to let this one stand, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see a patch soon to correct this. In the meantime, though, that the shoot🥀er is curr🌌ently "pay to win."

Step aside, Super Horn: Mario Kart World's "exploitable" new Rewind feature is the best way to dodge blue shells in single-player or bring the CPU racers down with you.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed B𓆏reath of the Wild, is an absolute beast of a game. It took myself weeks to finish, and others even months due to breaks in between. This one streamer, however, took it upon himself to stream the entire game, achieving 100% completion, in 136 hours.

Streamer Eric "PointCrow" Morino completed a 136-hour stream on Twitch last week, any breaks taken to tend to his bodily needs, such as sleep, done on stream. According to a celebratory – accompanied by the most exhausted-looking photo you can imagine – PointCrow declared he 🧔had 100%'d the open world RPG in 136 hours, 44 minutes, and one second. A feat for sure, but not one many would have the desire to complete in the slightest.

For reference, states a completionist playthrough takes players an average of 248 hours. It could be argued that he essentially speedran the whole⛎ thing.

PointCrow himself jokes saying "I only burst blood vessels in both my eyes," and I can't imagine the guy is going to look at a screen again for about a week. A fan even if he plans to do it again 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:on the Nintendo Switch 2, referencing the faster load-times as a benefit. Honestly, the request feels cruel after what PointCrow just went through, but he didn't appear ﷽to rule it out.

"With🍌out glitches I think it would add another couple hundred hours lol," he replies, which means PointCrow may have another week-long stream in his future. Well, someone has to do these things for the public, right?

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World is here, and as well as introducing 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:nifty new wall and rail-riding mechanics, another fresh feature is provinꦬg that the blue shell-destroying Super Horn has had its day – Rewind is the future (at least, when you're just playing by yourself).

Rewind does exactly what its name suggests – when you're playing offline by yourself, be it in a race or while in Free Roam, you can hi🐓t down on the D-pad to take your racer back in time. The idea is that if you make a mistake – maybe you missed an Item Box, or messed up a turn – you can immediately retrace your steps.

Other CPU racers aren't affected, so you have to use it sparingly so they don't zoom on ahead of you while you're busy time traveling, but players have quickly found that it's very useful whe🥀n it comes to dodging the notorious blue shells, as well as꧟ all other manner of things.

"The rewind feature is sooooooooo exploitable tha🧔t you can use this to dodge offline in Grand Prix and Knockout Tour," one p🦋layer writes, sharing a clip of the feature in action. "I literally dodge both blue shell and lightning at the same time. This is sooooo cheating LMFAOOOOOO."

"Once again, I have ou🌸tsmarted Miyamoto," Jeff Grubb jokes on Twitter, demonstrating another masterful blue shel⛄l dodge.

Meanwhile, another player shows that even if you don't quite manage to time the dodge correctly with Rewind, you can still bring other 🌜unsuspecting racers down with you. It's definitely the heinous use of the feature, but hey, it🅘's rather funny – Baby Peach must have been left flabbergasted in this player's clip.

Again, it's worth keeping in mind that you can only do this in single-player – Rewind isn't going to ruin online races, because it's literally unusable there. It's a good job, too – can you imagine the rage?

Nintendo, what have you done: Moo Moo Cow has completely overtaken Mario Kart World lobbies as Switch 2 players embrace the best new character.

During yesterday's澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 showcase, 1047 Games CEO and co-founder Ian Proux 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:t🌊ook to the stage to highlight Splitgate 2 and its launch – but his implications that 🎃the FPS would revolutionize the genre seem to have fallen short.

Proux, donning a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:controvers🐲ial "Make FPS Great Again" cap, explained that the reasons he made Splitgate 2 are simple: "Because I grew u🦋p playing Halo, and I'm tired of playing the same Call of Duty every year, and I wish we could have Titanfall 3." The lead then a response to those uncomfortable with his on-stage message and presence, exclaiming that he's "not here to apologize, but I am here to clarify."

The CEO then took another shot at the FPS genre, explaining how 1047 Games hopes Splitgate 2 can "fix" its problems: "The state of multiplayer FPS games is tragically stale. We hope to fix that, whether you want Arena, Battle Royale, Onslaught, or Map Creator." Now that fans have had a chance to explore the developer's new shooter, and its apparently very expensive microtransact♌ions, it's safe to say they're not at all content.

"You threw shade at Call of Duty on stage but copied Warzone's mechanics for your battle royale and dropped an $80 bundle in Splitgate 2," comments on🌳e player under the dev's post regarding "the state of multiplayer FPS games." The official Splitgate 2 account then responds: "We understand your criticism. This pack features our most unique skins with complex animations and artwork. We have a variety of cheaper options."

The dev continues, bringing up how "the game is free to play, and you don't need to buy anything to enjoy it to its fullest," and "nothing is pay-to-win and never will be." 1047 Games doubles down on this sentiment in a further reply, once again stating that microtransactions in Splitgate 2 are strictly optional, despite acknowledging🎐 the controversy surrounding them: "Monetization is always controversial, but it's also optional."

Understandably, however, fans aren't exactly happy with this way of thinking. The page for Splitgate 2 highlights as much, as current reviews only add up to a "Mixed" rating overall. "Less interesting version of Apex Legends," reads one negative review. Countless others criticize Proux directly, with a player notin൩g how he found fault in Call of Duty but "proceeded to release the most generic battle royale MTX farm ever."

There's no telling what the future looks like for Splitgate 2 just yet, though – but for now, the community doesn't sound too thrilled with 1047 Games' approach to the shooter and its "three currencies, battle pass, and $34 portal skin that makes your portal white," as one player calls out in a online: "Crazy too that a game marketing itself as the best FPS since old Halo games does everything it ripped from those games but worse."

With the release of Deltarune's latest chapters this past week – chapters three and four finally joining the fold – everyone and their mother appears to be playing Toby Fox's popular RPG. That includes streamers, of course, and it seems that those who use YouTube as their platform of choice are running into a probl✃em that Fox himself has now had to address: copyright strikes.

YouTube's copyright strikes are an ongoing issue, as the Google-owned platfor🌊m has an automated system that is extremely hard to dispute once it's made its verdict. Fox is🍰 still encouraging streamers to fight the good fight, however, as the music in his beloved game is free to use.

According to Fox, "the🦩 music has so many streams it hit a threshold for increased copyright strike aggression. Not kidding."

He pleads with YouTube streamers, "PLEASE dispute these claims and๊ they should be resolved." Fox isn't the first indie dev to find his internationally acclaimed game to un𓆉fairly affect streamers because of its sick in-game music.

Back in 2020, not long after Stardew Valley's 1.5 update, developer Eric Barone – known for his moniker "ConcernedApe" – that any copyright claims made due to the streaming of his game should be brought up to him, as he is the sole owner t▨o the rights of his farming game's music.

"Iꦿf you're aware of anyone ever getting 'flagged' for using Stardew music please let me know" was Barone's own plea to players back then, particularly🌸 pertaining to Twitch streamers at the time.

The fact that Barone requested players t☂o report these flags to himself is something Fox may want to consider, as the appeals process on YouTube can feel like talking to a brick wall. According to of their copyright claims process, more than a billion content ID claims have been made by their automated detection system between July 2023 and December 2023 – slightly dated information, but you get the gist – and less than 1% of those claims have been 🎶disputed.

Wel🍌l, yes. That's how math works; provide a number as big as "more than one billion" and you're most likely going to end up with juxtaposing percentage in the single digiℱts range. Rounding with 1%, that gets you 10 million people disputing those claims – the population size of several major cities. Not exactly something to pat yourself on the back for.

Now that I've done actual math for this, I think it's safe to say that the only thing that's going to help out the hundreds, if not thousands, of YouTube streamers getting slapped with copyright claims for both Undertale and Deltarune, is Toby Fox himself publicly calling it out. YouTube doesn't want to make cool gu♌y Toby Fox mad; 🤪that's just a bad look.

"I wish there was 🐬some way to not have these claims," Fox says. "However, YouTube's music system forces their 💫existence. And if I try to remove my rights to the music from the system, bad actors will pretend that they own it to claim videos and make money."

So, for any YouTube str🍸𒅌eamers out there, if you're in line for a copyright claim appeal, STAY IN LINE.

After breaking Steam, Deltarune dev Toby Fox appears to aim to break the internet: "After you finish Chapter 4, make sure to load up your save file one more time afterwards"

Patapon's unique cocktail ofꦯ rhythmic strategy has been missing for far too long, but a spirit🧔ual successor made by Patapon veterans finally has an early access release date.

For those unaware, developers who worked on the cult classic PSP series jumped to a few years ago and managed to raise a whopping $1.5 million (219,314,335 yen) to fund a roguelike successor called Ratatan. It still has a gorgeous style and combat that has you syncing up commands with the beat, but this time, t൲he cutesy little 🃏soldiers will chant rat-ta-ta-tan as they march into battle.

At the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 adjacent Day of the Devs showcase, developer Ratata Arts gave us another adorable look at the game alongside an incoming early access release for folks on PC: July 25. But if you simply can't ꦓwait to get your hands on the roguelike spin, then 🤡there's also a free available now, featuring two toe-tapping worlds, online co-op, and four ratatans.

The full game was originally planned for♍ release on April 2025 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintend༒o Switch, but it now just has a nebulous '2025' window. Either way, Ratatan's inbound early access launch is a promising sign that the full game isn't too far behind.

"Feel the beat and🤪 use rhythm sequences in time to order your Cobuns in the direction you want them to go," the game's storefront description explains. "Since the Ratatans can be moved freely, your judgement to decide where to give orders, where to position the ratatan, and when to retreat is critic✱al."

For now, check out some other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming indie games of 2025 and beyond.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007: First Light devs chose an origin story in partᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ because it allowed for a "more relatable" Bond for the potentially "younger audience" than might turn out for the films.

Speaking to GamesRadar+ at Summer Game Fest, 007 franchise director Jonathan Lacaille said that developer IO Interactive found the ch🧔ance to set a story in a period of Bond's life that's "not been covered much," to b𒅌e "the exciting part" of the project.

"We havꦜe a story to tell that people are probably very curious to find out," he says. "What are the events and the people that shaped the character [James Bond] is today? Was he always the womanizer that he is, or the strong man that he is?"

First Light, which sees Jam🍰es Bond operating before he's earned his iconic '00' status, features the character long before he becomes the "established legend" that we know him as. That means, Lacaille says, that "there's a lot of youth in him, so maybe some recklessness at times. And he has a lot of charm, but he doesn💧't know how to use it yet. He's maybe not as efficient as a [later] Bond would be."

That decision, however, is by design. Lacaille says that a clumsier Bond might be a more relatable Bond, particularly for a gaming audience t☂hat is "a younger audience𒁏, maybe, than the Bond franchise is used to." That piece of demographic profiling is a big part of why IO chose an origin story - "it's a new story to tell, and also a story that would connect really well."

That does come with its downsides. There's a lot of creative freedom attached to telling a whole new story, "but at the same time, you have a lot of creative freedom so you have to come up with everything." Lacaille reasserts that First Light "is not an adaptation or anything [...] but that's what will allow us to make a great game, because then we have a lot of💜 freedom that will fit with the gameplay mechanics."

All that freedom, he says, has also come with the benefit of being able to make the game relatively fast. Now scheduled for a release next year after a lengthy period of near silence, it seems that IO is moving faster than I, at least, had anticipated. Lacaille, however,🌊 says that the game is "well-advanced since we've announced it," and "feels fantastic," which suggests that the team has been very busy behind the scenes.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Resident Evil 9 (officially Resident Evil Requiem) was finally revealed to the world at last night's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest show, but Capcom seemingly first teased the horror✨ blockbuster eight years and two Resident Evils ago.ﷺ (And, also, for in a hilarious bait-and-switch.)

澳洲幸运🍸5开奖号码历史查询:After Requiem's bone-chilling first trailer, fans started posting their wildest theories online 𓃲and some even spotted a note you can find in Resident Evil 7 Biohazard that looks like it ties into the upcoming entr𓆏y.

It's a document written by Alyssa Ashcroft, an investigative journalist from the oft-forgotten Resident Evil Outbreak, that's talking about a missing persons case and an investigation that's ramping ওup to solve it.

Of course, Requiem's announcement trailer heavily features Alyssa's daughter and FBI agent Grace Ashcroft as she's hard at work looking into victims of an unidentified disease. We later see multiple fading missing person posters barely hanging onto a wall - ring any bells? - som♈e really spooky shots of what I assume is The Runwood Hotel, and then poor Raccoon City, all ruined after the events of Resident Evil 1 and 2.

Was Alyssa digging into the saꦐme mystery that Grace is now? Was her murder at the Runwood Hotel linked to any of this? Is that same missing persons case still ongoing? The trailer mentions she died eight years ago, meaning RE9 can't take place earlier than 2024-2025 since her note was writ▨ten in 2016, so how do the other games in the series connect?

There's lots to think about, but we don't need to wait✨ for much longer. Resident Evil 9 comes out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 2༒7, 2026.

Keep up with our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest schedule.

A Splitgate 2 developer ꧅who has gone viral following a Summer Game Fest appearance says he's "not here to apologize" over his unpopuꦦlar messaging, because he was not making "a political statement."

Ian Proulx, CEO 🦩of developer 1047 Games, took to the SGF stage last night wearing a black 'Make FPS Games Great Again' hat in a clear riff on the traditionally red hats worn by supporters of current US president Donald Trump. It was a move that - Splitgate 2 looks pretty good and had plenty of good buzz around it, but Proulx made himself arguably the biggest villain of last night's show with his stunt.

In response to a pretty rapid outpouring of bad feelings on social media, Proulx took to after the event, not to apologi🍸ze, but to "clarify" the message behind the hat. "This is not a political statement," h🥃e says. "It is quite literally what it says, so take it at face value."

"The state of multiplayer FPS games is tragically stale," he continues. Last night, he said that he was making Splitgate 2 because he's "tired of playing the same Call of ✃Duty every year," and wants to channel the experience he had playing Halo when he was younger. He claimed his new game is "f***ing awesome, and says that ✃he "hopes to fix" that stale feeling, but given the Mixed Steam reviews that Splitgate 2 has launched to, I ꧃think that might not be quite what he's managed.

The developer o꧙f adorable management game Minami Lane recently released an equally adorable bug collect-a-thon that's gathered flawless reviews, literally.

You might already recognize the name - it was a pretty big hit last year on account of its warm art style, condensed management, and cozy vibes set on a single, miꦓniature street. 💯Co-developers 'Doot' and 'Zakku' on Steam put out their follow-up project, Kabuto Park, last month and the response has been just as strong.

"This is completely insane," Doot tweeted last week alongside a screenshot of the gam🅷e's 590 reviews, 100% ﷽of which were positive. "I didn't even think that was possible? OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE with 100% POSITIVE REVIEWS?!"

I've personally never seen a game with 100% positive reviews on the platform because, well, you know, it's hard to please every single person. Taste is subjective. Heck, at the time of writing, those perfect reviews fell ever so slightly:ဣ Kabuto Park now has well over 1,000 reviews and 99% of them give it the thumbs up. The game being able to gather 100% Overwhelmingly Positive is sort of an unbelievable feat in the first place.

"With Kabuto Park, I wanted to do something quite personal," Doot continued. "Every game you make is like putting a part of yourself out there, it's terrifying but so rewarding when people react as you do. I cried several t♏ime si♈nce release and feel like I'm about to do it again rn."

"Catch the cutest bugs🍨, train them and win the Summer Beetle Battles Championship in this tiny bug collection game," the blurb explains. "Upgrade your equipment to find rarer, stronger and shinier little friends." It's essentially Pokemon as a cute side-scroller, but this time you're making bugs fight, which I won't questi🔯on the ethics of here.

For now, check out some other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming indie games of 2025 and beyond.

It's an impressively balanced effort in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ballerina to ensure not only that John Wick plays more than a cameo in the story, but where in his own story we're finding him as well. A ballet performance here, a ticket torn there, and it's clearly established where in the Baba Yaga's battle with the High Table, Eve's own mission of vengeance is taking place. However, even with all these nifty little winks and nods to the beloved franchise, there were two moments in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:John Wick: Chapter 3 -- Parabellum that director ဣLen Wiseman was close to including but didn'♛t, no matter how cool it might have been to see it.

Speaking to about th🔥e creative choices to include or avoid the bꦏullets, blades, and grenades going back and forth between these two action-heavy stories, Wiseman had some great ideas to reveal how close Eve's revenge mission was playing alongside John's. ”As a fan, there were potential moments that I was really excited to work into the movie," Wiseman explained. "In the scene where Eve first arrives at the Continental, you’d see a bunch of motorcycles speeding in the background of the city on the bridge. That would’ve been cool for anyone who’s really paying attention to detail. ‘There’s the samurai and John on motorcycles.’”

The motorcycles in question tear up the streets early on in Chapter 3, which would highlight just how busy this fictional world is, and that𒆙 you really can't turn a corner without some cold-blooded killer causing trouble. Wi🐈th that chase scene in mind and the timing of Eve's visit, Wiseman also considered bringing another character from Parabellum in during the ballerina's trip to the legendary hotel, or at least a reference to him.

“Right after Eve checks into the Continen🐬tal, she’d go up to her room, and we’d see a view of the hotel to where we think the movie is ending,” Wiseman revealed. “Then we’d hear a screech, and the camera pans down just in time to catch two motorcycles crashing at the base of the Continental.” The two bikes in question are the ones ridden by John and Mark Dacascos' Zero, who, like many others, fails to take the legendary hitman down.

Of course, following recent news, it seems that Mr. Wick remains undefeated with confirmation that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:John Wick 5 is on the cards and will see Reeves back in black after escaping death at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the end of Chapter 4. If that's not enough for you, there's also the other𒐪 spin-off cent𓂃ered around Donnie Yen's Caine, the blind assassin who helped John out in the last installment. Needless to say, the franchise th✨at focused on a one-man army will get pretty crowded over the next few years.

For now, while we get giddy over the prospect of these stupidly cool people killing in a stupidly cool fashion, why not pay respect to the dude that started it all and take a look at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the 35 greatest Keanu Reeves films here🎃.

Things might not necessarily be moving at light speed, but casting updates are certainly picking up with news that Shawn Levy's Star Wars: Starfighte💙r film has a brand new addition to join Ryan Gosling in a galaxy far, far away. A report from reveals that the star of X, Pearl, and MaXXXine will be kicking up a fuss in space as the mysterious villain facing off against Ryan Gosling's titular pilot.

The announcement comes after the film was revealed at Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo this April. The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Deadpool & Wolverine helmer and Gosling attended, but kept pretty quiet about plot details. What we do know is that it'll be another daring venture in the franchise that has no connection to the Skywalker ♌Saga and will be set five years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IX—The Rise of Skywalker.

The news of Goth's signing for the film comes after revealed that Oscar winner Mikey Madison was initially offered the part of a villain but passed on the offer due to pay iss🃏ues. Now, it seems that Goth will be snatching up the role, marking out a continuously busy run of movies that will certainly draw some attention.

Besides signing on to a new Star Wars gig, Goth will also appear later this year alongside Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi in Guillermo del Toro's new adaptation of Frankenstein for Netflix. The f๊ilm, which is set to stream in November, has also just received an R-rating⛎, which for the star of Ti West's X trilogy really isn't anything new. As for Star Wars: Starfighter, Goth will be jumping to lightspeed pretty soon, with filming ☂set to begin this 💙year for a 2027 release date. Before that, Pedro Pascal will be donning his beskar armor for the big screen in Mandalorian & Grogu, which is set for release in May 22, 2026. If you think 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:keeping quieඣt about the Red Hulk 🎐is difficult, try living in Hell's Kitchen. The first season of Daredevil: Born Again hadn't even come to a close, and already leaked photos were beginning to trickle out of the next chapter that had been given the green light, with the biggest reveal being that Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones w൲ould finally be heading back alongside Matt Murdock and making her way into the MCU. Understandably, fans of Ritter's Netflix series that followed t🃏he head of Alias Investigations would be pleased to see the star's return, even with the complications that come with it.

By the end of the eight-episode limited series, Defenders, Jess, Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Danny Rand aka Iron Fist (Finn Jones) made it out of their battle with The Hand, with Matt sacrificing himseꦇlf to die with Elektra (Elodie Yung) seemingly. Of course, the third season of Daredevil proved that Matt had survived, but the rest of his mismatched team were unaware of that fact. It's a plot point that will undoubtedly have to be addressed in season 2 of Born Again, and a matter which the star of the show is all too aware his horn-headed alter-ego will have to deal with.

Speaking to about the upcoming reunion, Cox said, “When did Jessica Jones find out that I’m not dead? At the end of Defenders, everyone assumes I’m dead.” We can only assume that given the lengthy gap of time both heroes have been off screen, the private investigator did her own work and quickly concluded that Matt was alive. Hopefully, once this matter is resolved, it will be back to business as usual, with Matt and Jessica working together to take back control of New York, ꧅which is now under total martial law by Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).

As far as Cox sees it, Daredevil and Jess are on good(ish) terms. “There’s a mutual respect for one another. She finds him overly serious and too much of a choir boy, and he finds her to be crass and making light of too many serious situations; she’s more antihero than hero.” We'll have to see for ourselves when Daredevil: Born Again returns next year. Before this team-up hits our television screens, check out eve🐲ry upcoming MCU movie and sཧhow headed our way here.

When venturing into Mary Shelley's beloved horror classic about man playing god, it's safe to say that things will get a little messy. It makes perfect sense, then, why the new Netflix adaptation of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Frankenstein from Guillermo del Toro is receiving a hard R-rating due to the story being inevitably filled with blood, bru𒁃tality, and body parts being stitched together in a questionable manner.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The incredible trailer for the upcoming movie was released last week and displayed del Toro at the top of his creature-feature-making game. All that was missing was hearing Oscar Isaac as this iterati💞on's Victor Von Frankenstein proclaiming "it's alive" (the 'it' in this case being Jacob Elordi), and we'd be golden. Ah, well, you can't have everything, right?

As for the new rating for the film, well, it's been marked with the aforementioned certificat🦋e thanks to “bloody violence and grisly images” according to the MPA, which, quite frankly, gets us even more excited. There's also the fact that the film is bursting with the undeniable love and passion that the film's director has been waiting toꦡ unleash since childhood.

Speaking at the event last week, the Oscar-winning filmmaker said, “This is, for me, the culmination of a journey that has occupied most of my life. I first read Mary Shelley‘s Frankenstein as a kid and saw Boris Karloff in what became for me an almost religious state. Monsters have become my personal belief system.” Joining him in accomplishing this dream, along with Isaac and Elordi, are Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz,🦹 Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery, Ralph Ineson, and Charles Dance.

You'll be able to see how he handles this monstrous endeavor when Frankenstein stomps onto Netflix in November. For now, yo🎉u can check out 25 of the best movies on Netflix to watch this week 🌺here.

Marvel Studios often tries with all the might of a Norse thunder god to keep their secrets away from fans, so that when the big reveal makes its way onto the screen, they get the level of satisfaction that they'd always hoped to capture in seeing legendary heroes and villains from the House of Ideas making their surprise appearance. Unfortunately, in the case of Harrison Ford's take on Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Captain America: Brave New World, the secret was just too big to keep quie🐠t about.

In an interview with , director Julius Onah acknowledged and accepted that the marketing of Sam Wilson's (Anthony Mackie) first cinematic outing as Captain America would inevitably come with a heavy red tint. In the comics, Red Hulk made his smashing debut in 2008, and it wasn't until 2010 that Ross was revealed to be the human who had been given a monstrous jolt. With that as common knowledge, Ford's addition to the project made the 🎃secret🥀 difficult to keep.

“When you’re making a movie like this, an announcement goes out that Harrison Ford is going to play Thaddeus Ross, and you have a fandom as massive and as passionate as the MCU fandom is, you’re toast at that point, you know?" Onah explained. "In a perfect-case scenario, it would have been awesome [if ] that [had been] an in-theatre surprise, but I think it would have been very difficult. Somewhere along the way, a toy would have been fo๊und, or somebody would have leaked a trailer. It’s just so hard to 💜keep anything secret in today’s day and age.”

The efforts to keep hush-hush about specific details off the grid are still proving difficult for Marvel Studios, and in some areas, they've managed to get the job done. Jaws universally dropped when it was revealed that Robert Downey Jr. was playing Doctor Doom, and it was theorized that the Thunderbolts would be the New Avengers, but that was never confirmed that early in advance. For now, the biggest shield that's being covered for an upcoming Marvel movie is Avengers: Doomsday, for which we still don't know the final cast list, given that Kevin Feige has confirmed we've only got half the heroes involved. If you need to know ev🥂erything else about the upcoming MCU movie and anything else on the Marvel Studios calendar, head here (but don't say we didn't warn you).

Splitgate 2 actually looks pretty good, , has some pretty solid momentum behind it. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4, a fellow FPS, also looks p🦩retty good, and definitely has ๊momentum behind it. And yet, the men heading these things simply cannot get out of their own way.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:This week, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:in the weeks before, it was Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford's numerous and enormously unpopular comments on game pricing. Tonight, at the Summer Game Fest live show, it was the painfully avoidable division stirred by 1047 Games cofounder and CEO Ian 😼Proulx, who managed to piledrive Splitgate 2's discourse into the dumpster in a matter of minutes, stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.

Proulx says he made his FPS because he hates Callꦆ of Dut꧑y, loves Halo, and wants Titanfall 3 – and reckons Splitga♉te 2's new battle royale mode is "f***ing awesome." We're going to ignore the irony that Splitgate just dropped a battle royale and that Titanfall 3 doesn't exist in part because EA told Respawn to instead keep operating the battle royale money machine that is Apex Legends, because it's really not the biggest problem tonight.

It's hard to overstate how thoroughlyᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ and widely Splitgate 2 is getting dunked on after Proulx's SGF appearance. The reaction hasn't been universally negative, of course; are simply celebrating the surprise update, and . It's not like Splitgate 2 is going to keel over because of this.

But if an Imagine Dragons remix in your battle royale trailer is the last criticism on peoples' minds, you may, perhaps, have messe🧸d up. Across , , and , and both in and out of the game's immediate communities, Splitgate 2 optics are measurably worse than they were about 10 hours ago.

"Hat was cringe as hell," on the Splitgate Reddit. "This was just cringe," of the game's SGF s✅lot.

"If I♌ was a dev and I had spent years working on a game and my boss went on stage and looked like this muc🅠h of a jackass I'd be so pissed," .

"I now ܫfeel embarrassed for liking this game," another Splitgate Reddit post .

"As a Splitgate 1 fan and a founder pack owner for Splitgate 2, I can't believe ꧟how HORRIBLE of a fumble I just witnessed," . Posts just like this are coming up fas𝔍ter than the mods or auto-mods can delete them for purportedly being low-effort.

And, I mean, if you've los🐼t the dad hat enthusiasts, what elsꦯe is there to lose?

Here's everything announced at Summer Game Fest 2025.

Following the success of cartoon-ish action RPG Nobody Saves the World, Guacamelee developer DrinkBox Studios has announced another action RPG called Blighted. Part of me is sad to see the studio isn't working on another Metroidvania just yet, because its Guacamalee series represents some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Metroidvania games around, but꧒ DrinkBox simply cannot miss, and Blighted looks great so far.

Where Nobody Saves the World had a flatter 2D perspective that found depth primarily through a variety of forꦗms for the main character, Blighted has more of a 3D, Hades kind of vibe to it, just to give you a quick and commonly known point of reference. It's an isometric action game with silky smooth animations and a lot of projectiles flying around, where a "dynamic difficulty system" regularly changes "enemies, the player, and the world around them."

Blighted begins with, you guessed it, a blight. , the devs explain that, in a world where the knowledge of the dead is passed down through seeds of memories, "you are the lone survivor of Sorcisto’s rampage," a ꧑tragedy caused by a villainous monster who gorged on the brains of the living, and you're "fighting to reclaim the memories of your people, before your own꧂ Blight overtakes you."

Sharing knowledge preserved in the brains of the dead also plays into progression; you can power up by absorbing brains from bosse🧸s. This is where my Metroidvania sense starts to tingle, not just because it's DrinkBox, but because these upgrades are capable of "widening your skillset and opening up new paths."

Blighted was listed on Steam just hours ago and immediately had the Metroidvania tag, and I'm thinking t💞hat's not a coincidence. Let's not ignore this line, either: "Pay careful attention while exploring to unloc𝓡k the many deep secrets of Blighted’s world."

"Combat in Blighted is nuanced and deadly," DrinkBox adds. "Carefully time ♎your attacks to weave through enemies, chain together combos, and perform powerful finishers." We get a taste of that in the reveal trailer, which is heavy on scythe swinging and even heavier on parrying attacks with a blue flash.

DrinkBox hasn't put out a single bad game, even in the pre-Guacﷺamelee days of Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, and Blighted is nearly tailor-made to my tastes. It's out in 2026, evidently just on PC fo🀅r now, and it'll be on my wishlist until then.

Everything announced at Summer Game Fest 2025.

During 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, Like a Dragon developer RGG fully lifted the lid on ꧂its mysterious Project Century game, revealing its official title to be Stranger Than Heaven.

I'm🎃 proudly among the contingent of RGG fans that would gladly take another Judgment game over Like a Dragon. Don't get me wrong, I love Nancy the Crawfish as much as the next guy and the mainline Yakuza series' antics are endlessly amusing, but I find them just a little bit bloated – particularly 2024's Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. I also prefer the darker, grittier nature of the Judgment games' worlds and storytelling.

Maybe that's why I'm so at🃏tracꦐted to Stranger Than Heaven, aside from the fact that it's literally about a detective, although I'd still prefer to see what Takayuki Yagami has been up to since 2021's Lost Judgment.

Anyway, I digress. The new 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stranger Than Heaven trailer doesn't actually reveal a whole lot about the game other than its title, but we once again get to see protagonist Mako Daito roam around a bustling Japanese city busting bad guy🀅𓄧s in a fashion much more violent than you'd expect from an RGG game.

Whereas 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the first trailer took us back to 1915 Japan, this new one takes place൲ in 1943, suggesting the Proj👍ect Century codename was more than just a throwaway title.

I'm really into the game's jazzy vibe throughout the trailer. A brassy quintet opens the scene with♏ a sultry number that intensifies with the action scenes, and it really sets the tone for an LA Noire type detective story that I could see myself becoming very, very invested in.

Anyway, this is all to say: Stranger Than Heaven is no Judgment,🐽 and maybe that's OK, because what it looks like is a game wearing vaguely similar clothes bu🌠t with completely different mechanics, physics, and world design that could be an exciting new direction for RGG.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Yakuza games to play right now.

The Borderlands series has been suffering a massive, series-w🅺ide review-bomb for nearly three weeks now, and developer Gearbox has finally ad﷽dressed it.

Over the past 19 days, beginning on May 19, the entire Borderlands series has been blasted on Steam. According to its recent reviews, the most popular game in the series is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, with 29% posit🔯ive reviews. That lack of popularity runs through every numbered entry, down to 2014's Borderlands: The Pre-♊Sequel, which has just 9% positive reviews.

The culprit is the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new Borderlands user agreement, which players quickly blasted as 'spyware' for reports that it granted high-level access to you𒁏r machine under the guise of anti-c🌠heat software. Some members of the community have stood up to suggest that that's not really the case, and that Gearbox and its publisher and parent company have all been quite chill about modding and the like, but it's not done much to improve the review scores.

Now, 19 days after the first drops of that review-bomb downpour started to fall, Gearbox has issued its response. In a , it said that "we know there have been some concerns from Borderlands fans about Take-Two's Terms of Service." Desiring to addrꦺess some of those concerns, Gearbox kicked off with the eminently reassuring "Take-Two does not use spyware."

It says it asks forᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ permission to collect some data, but that doesn't mean it's actually doing it on every game or service. Where it does collect, Take-Two is trying to "personaliz🎐e the user experience," not take a digital peek at its players.

Secondly, the company addresses anti-cheat con♈cerns, saying that what it actually wants to ban are "mods that allow users to gain an unfair advantage," to "protect the integrity of the game ꦫexperience." Generally, it argues, Take-Two "does not seek to take action against mods that are single-player only, non-commercial, and respect the IP rights of its labels."

Whether that does enough to assuage the fears of players, I'm not convinced. Somehow I doubt it, especially since Gearbox snuck this whole thing out while all eyes were elsewhere thanks to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest. Given that it's also tried dropping steep discounts and full giveaways🍸 on some of these games, however, clearly it knows it needs to do something a little different. While there's still no 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询🍬:release date for Gears of War: E-Day, series creator Cliff Bleszinski has decided now is the time to just let it all hang loose and reveal he kind of winged it with some of that Locust and Rif🎶tworm stuff. , Bleszinski shared that a major showdown in Gears of War 3 kind of... makes no sense.

In Gears of War, the Locust Horde are mutated humanoids, the result of genetic experiments, and develop their own gover🎐ning society. This also included a religion known as the Trinity of Worms which worshipped the Riftworms, giant, 10-mile-long worms which created the Hollow, whe✃re the Locust reside. Despite the rich lore surrounding the Riftworms and their relation to the Locust, it turns out some stuff was left blank.

During Gears of War 3, one Locust known as Ketor Skorge, awoke a Ri꧋ftworm to be used as a weapon of mass destruction in their war against the humans. There's just a tiny detail missing from the fact that Skorge was able to command the Riftworm at𒁏 will: Bleszinski has no idea how he did it.

According to his tweet, Bleszinski has no explanat🎐ion for how the Locust "got control of the Riftworm in the first place, and two: how they guided it to their desired target."

While sharing his retrospection, Bleszinski defends his lack of explanation with a simple idea that some gamers can get behind, while others will demand answers for: "Sometimes ya just put stuff in a game you think is cool. 🌊You don't h🐬ave to fully explain everything; let 'em wonder."

The only issue now is that regardless of how much Gears of War fans "wonder," they'll know in their hea🃏rt of hearts that even the creator doesn't have a clue.

This years' 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest has come to an end, and among some of the bigger reveals, like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Resident Evil 9, or an absolute bait-and-switch around 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong, was a focus on games made by smaller teams, or first-time devs showing off their debuts. and while two of those didn't really feature at the show itself, they were breakout hits that got a massive nod🍃 ri൲ght at the top of the broadcast.

In a list of the most-played Steam games of the year, two particular titles stood out, if nothing else than for the fact that their art was somewhat more simple than the AAA offerings they sat alongs▨ide.

Those two games were REPO, which Geoff Keighley says has amassed 13 million players, and Schedule 1, the drug dealing simulator that has a touch of the old-school GTA and a touch of the tycoon game to its retro-ish art designs. For these two games, made with deliberately simple art by small indie teams, to be standing alongside some of the genuine heavyweights that have relea🅘sed this year, is genuinely very impressive.

That's something their devs have acknowledged themselves. REPO's devs say they went "from crossing [their] fingers for r🐈ent to having millions of player🅠s." Schedule 1's had a tougher time, one slightly marred by legal difficulties that its team seemed to want very little part in, but it's still been a runaway success. Granted, a name-drop from Geoff Keighley isn't a huge achievement in and of 🌳itself, but to get his attention by beating some of the world's biggest publishers and studios into the top ten most-played games of the year is very impressive.

Capcom has announced Street Fighter 6' season 3 lineup at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, with a host of fan-favourites returning, and possibly the🎃 strangest DLC pi🌌ck to date.

Hot on the heels of launching the game on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 and releasing Elena, the 🉐final Season 2 DLC, Capcom has confirmed Season 3 of Street Fighter 6 will be Alex, C. Viper, Sagat, and Ingrid, courtesy of AEW pro wrestler Kenny Omega .

Capcom once again proves it can't move past Street Fighter 2,🔯 with it getting another rep this season, while Street Fighte🌼r 3 and 4 both get a second character on the roster with Alex and C. Viper, respectively.

However, Ingrid is the funꦦny one, she was created specifically for Capcom Fighting All-Stars – a 3D crossover fighter which was canceled – before appearing in the extremely mid Capcღom Fighting Evolution. The character has become somewhat of a meme within the Street Fighter community, but now she's in a canon Street Fighter game.

Meanwhile, Alex is the best possible pick Capcom could've made if you ask me. The poster boy of Street Fighter 3, who really should have been in the base game since it's the first in the series to be set after ♉SF3. Plus, he's one of the finest fighting game characters ever made in my fine opinion, thanks to his hard-hitting pro wrestling style. And it's single-handedly confirmed that I will be sticking with SF6 for another year.

Capcom revealed that Sagat will be coming this summer, with C. Viper following in the fall. Meanwhile, we'll be waiting until 2026 for Alex and Ingrid, who are releasing in "early spring" and "late spring" respectively. We also saw a ti♊ny bit of Sagat gameplay with an absolutely gorgeous rendition of his classic🧸 Thailand stage making an appearance.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Splitgate 2 is an upcoming portal battle royale shooter whose development team maybe takes the crown for strangest moment of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest so far.

CEO and co-founder of developer 1047 Games, Ian Proux, takes to the stage, leans on a baseball bat, and says they made the game "Because I grew up playing Halo, and I'm tired of playing the same Call of Duty every year, and I wish we could 𒁏have Titan🎐fall 3."

He finishes, "Splitga👍te battle royale launches free, right now, and it's fucking awesome." Splitgate 2's full 1.0 launch is out now, and it has a battle royale mode too.

There are new maps, modes, weapons, and a load of balance changes too. You can see it all in action during the trailer that shows a frenzy of shooting, rockets, and melee hits while people run through portals. All is so𝓡undtracked by Imagine Dragons.

Over on the Splitgate , a player asks, "Who🌟 asked for Battle Royale and $80 bundles? We loved Splitgate because it wasnt like every other game/company doing the exact same things... I knew before i even 🤡opened the store that there was going to be absurd prices... just makes me sad, man..."

Another player , "Idk why y'all decided to do ꦏthis shit. I'm not mad about a battle royale mode, I'm glad there's more stuff to enjoy, that's not the issue. 🐟The issue is you advertised it as 'bigger than a campaign,' which just isn't true."

A new murder mystery social deduction game, which is being developed in collaboration with Square Enix, has been unveiled during tonight's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest live stream, and it looks like it'll offer a unique and more Hitman-style action-centric twist on ♛the Among Us-style gameplay we know and love, for 24 players.

Titled Killer Inn, the game is being developed by Tactic Studios in collaboration with both Square Enix and TBS Games, and dareꦅ I say it, at first blush, it does sound very much like Among Us, admittedly without the colorful little fellas running around and jumping in vents.

Rather than crewmates and imposters, the trailer refers to pl𝕴ayers as Lambs and Wolves, and the game sees the Lambs working together to try to figure out and kill the murderers, uh, among them. Lambs win if they successfully take out every Wolf (players will be out themselves if they try harming a fellow Lamb), whereas Wolves win if they slay every Lamb without getting caugജht.

Spicing up this formula, there are quests to complete, and different items like armor and weapons to collect and use. What's♊ more, when someone is murdered, physical evidence will be left behind by their killer, helping the Lambs narrow down their suspects without even witnessing any deaths happen.

Clearly, social deduction is going to play a massive part in all this, but it doesn't seem like people will be able to si🍸mply bluff their way to a win when there'll be actual clues to point to🌃.

Anyway, it sounds like we won't have to wait too long to give it a go, as a closed beta for Killer Inn is coming soon ꦉto Steam.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 was officially announced during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 Live, with a dino-filled tra🐈iler that confirmed the upcoming adventur🎀e is releasing on October 21, 2025.

The announc🥀ement trailer was narrated by the one and only Jeff Goldblum, who will be reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm once again. Goldblum also previously appeared in the Jurassic World Evolution 2 back in 2021, which put a heavy focus on the movie franchise with the likes of Bryce Dallas Howard also appearing in her role as Claire Dearing.

We don't yet know if any🃏 other famous voices will be in the third entry alongside Goldblum, but it's great to hear Ian Malcolm is back, and he even says his most iconic line to introduce the new game: "Life finds a way". Classic.

Most excitingꦇ of all, though, is what is shown off, with the debut trailer showcasing various dinosaur families roaming around parks. Who knew baby T-rexes could be so cute? And don't even get me started on the pterosaurs we see perched by their parent. We haven't seen young dinos in the series before, and with the promises of bringing some family life to parks, the cute factor is frankly off the pre-historic charts.

Set to land on PC, Xboꦫx Series X|S, and PS5, the trailer also confirmed pre-orders are now live for th𒆙e upcoming entry, with Frontier revealing a Deluxe Edition in an official press release following the announcement.

The Deluxe Edition comes with four additional dinosaur "family units", including the herbivore Protoceratops, tyrannosaurs relative Guanlong, which is known for its feathery plumes, the Thantatosdrakon, and Concಞavenator which is said to be an "aerodynamic huntꩵer."

Those who pre-order will also get the Badlands Set at launch, which gives yo🧜u a collection of scenery items inspired by the original Jurassic Par🅷k film's dig site, and more.

Capcom revealed the nasty new trailer for Resident Evil 9 at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 after , and almost a year 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:after it announced the sequel during Capcom Next Summer 2024.

In the trailer for the survival horror game we now know as Resident Evil Requiem, harried FBI agent Grace Ashcroft is actively investigating an "unidentified diseas🅺e," one that melts people's faces off, if ♏the black-and-white crime scene pics on her computer screen are any indication. She's tasked with analyzing a fresh corpse at the hotel where her mother – Resident Evil Outbreak reporter Alyssa Ashcroft – was killed eight years ago.

When Grace gets to the hotel, it seems to be the family reunion from hell she was expecting. She's tied up and left dangling upside down like a whole pig at the butcher, and an unidentified man holed up in one of the rotting hotel's rooms calls her "the⛦ chosen one."

Later, Raccoon City is an unrecognizable pile of ash. Slithering monsters aﷺnd dying people wreak mayhem on both their hom🥀es and, presumably, you.

I'm happy to see it. Thanking both God and my lucky stars, I'm also💜 glad to remind you that Resident 🦂Evil 7 director Koshi Nakanishi is in control of this Resident Evil installment. Can you tell from all the screaming?

For someone like me, who plays Resident Evil not for the bombs and bullets, but for the severed arms and bubbling gore, Requiem is a gift from horror heaven. I think the mildewy claustrophobia in 7 is more stifling than it feels in any other game in the 29-year-old mutant horror franchise, and 9 looks ambitious and ready to make it worse.

After Resident Evil 5 and 6 😼nudged the survival horror series toward hot and messy action – a creative decision detested by many fans – Resident Evil 7 was like 1,000 volts to the chest. It revived Resident Evil, which had strayed so far from its roots, and it took it back underground.

It makes sense, then, that Nakanishi would have found it "really difficult to figure out what to do after 7," as he said during last year's Capcom summer stream. "But I found it," he continued to say about 9, "and, to be honest, it feels substantial."

The footage we saw during today's Summer Game Fest confirms this to be nauseatingly true, and I've never been more excited to get sick.

Resident Ev🎉il Requiem is o🌼ut on February 27, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Keep up with our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest schedule.

After nearly seven years in early access, players have just gotten word from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest that online open world survival-craft, Scum, is finally getting its 1.0 release. The devs at Gamepires have spent years perfecting the title with numerous updates over the years, as well as keeping players consistently in the loop with developer updates. Now, Scum is🍒 ready for the big leagues.

For those who haven't been around for Scum's long stint in early access, the hyper-realistic survival game places players in the shoes of a prisoner on a super-max security island under the scrutiny of a corporation. In the midst of attempting to survive other players, mech's, and every other way to die under the sun, there's also the fact that you're being w🤪atched for entertainment on live TV.

Scum's 1.0 trailer showcases its chaotic, dog-eat-dog, Truman Show world, finally packaged and ready for full-release. Scum has maintained a steady, dedicated player base over the years, although hasn't quit♔e found itself the same notoriety as other gruesome online survival-crafts such as Rust. But in the dog-eat-dog world that is Scum, just holding steady is sort of enough.

With a June 17 release date, the on the Steam store page that "Soon is finally soon!!!" Players better💃 gear up and get ready to survive the island – just not the Jeff Probst kind.

One of the coolest-looking mech games around, Mecha Break, finally got a release date during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 live stream, and it's coming soඣoner than expected, as it'll be upon us next month.

To be exact, it's launching on PC and Xbox Series X|S on July 1 – the news was confirmed in a new trailer 💜that featured an absolute banger of a song that was giving me some faint Xenoblade Chronicles X vibes. Or perhaps I just feel that way because there are mechs all over the screen. Either way, it's a tune.

Mecha Break has had some ups and downs over the last year or so. It accumulated a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:massive amount of players and 🀅wishlists after getting an open beta test last August, although when it got a demo during February 2025's Steam Next Fest, it was unfortunately 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:hit with a lot of negative reviews, despite soaring to enౠormous concurrent player record heights.

At the time, we noticed that criticism in the reviews ranged from server𝓰 issue complaints to worries about monetization, to some saying the gameplay felt sluggish. It's been a good few months since then, though, so here's hoping that developer Amazing Seasun Games might have been able to address a few things since then.

One thing is for sure, executive producer Kris Kwok previously stated that "'pay to wi♐n' is out ofඣ the question" for Mecha Break, noting: "We won't allow that. The business model for Mecha Break in the future is more about cosmetics." Hopefully, then, the monetization shouldn't be too divisive overall.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 revealed a new trailer for publisher Annapurna's upcoming narrative adventure game Mixtape, which looks so sugar-pure and wistul, I'm almost prepared to starting missing being 15.

The trailer – which you can watch below – shows three friends𝓀 entrenched in suburban en🍌nui, getting ready to get wasted and cover a McMansion with toilet paper.

"On their last night togꦗether, three friends embark on one final adventure," Annapurna writes in its trailer's description on YouTube.

"En route to their final party together, a perfectly curated playlist draws three friends into dreamlike reenactments of their formative memories. Experience a variety of narrative vignettes exploring the pivotal moments that shaped t🤪hem," Annapurna continues. "Players will immerse themselves in the teenage wasteland by playing through a mixtape of joyful gameplay, from skateboarding and flying to taking photos after hours at an abandoned theme park, hitting baseballs, and putting on a fireworks show from the backseat of a car.

"It's the greatest hits of the teenage experience, from theꦆ first kiss to the last dance."

Despite the run-ins with overzealous cops and the dumb fire hazards '80s-set Mixtape shows its protagonists getting into during the Summer Game Fest trailer, it's undeniable that the gam🀅e has captured the stupid/t꧋otally fucking sick dichotomy that makes up a lot of my favorite teenage memories.

I💞n this way, Mixtape could be a new Life is Strange – its depiction of wild childhood appears similarly mystical, like a friend's kitchen at 1AM. Even better, its soundtrack features songs from bands𝔉 like Portishead and The Cure, so I can remember all of my trips to Hot Topic while I play in 4K detail.

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007: First Light trailer that dropped during the State of Play earlier this week had 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:some serious Casino Royale energy thanks to its decision to opt for a Bond origin story, and developer IO Interactive is really༺ doubling down on that with a new Hitman collab.

IO's CEO, Hakan Abrak, took to the stage at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest ea𒈔rlier today, joined by acting legend Mads Mikkelsen. That's because, in celebration of the reception of First Light, IO is collaborating with itself, bringing the Danish actor's Casino Royale character, Le Chiffre, to Hitman as an elusive taꦐrget.

If it's been a while s📖ince you last took on one of those targets, they're characters who you've only⭕ got one chance to take out, and can only access for a limited time. That's true of Le Chiffre, who'll head to Hitman 1's Paris map, but will only be available for 30 days.

Voiced by Mikkelsen, it's a very good likeness, and it does seem like there's a decent amount of new dialogue in there too. What's even betteಌr, however, is that if you do manage to take him out - something that sounds tricky, given Mikkelsen's suggestion that his character will stay one step ahead of the player - you'll get "a unique reward" that you'll be a༺ble to take with you in 007: First Light.

I've got no idea what that might be, and with the James Bond game not releasing until next year, it'll be some time before we find out, but if you ever wanted a reason to jump into one of the澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: best stealth games of recent years, this is it.

Mindseye, the original game from an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ex-GTA 5 developer, is launching June 10, and a new trailer shown at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 reveals i🌊t's also getting a Hitm🉐an collaboration coming this July.

As the Mindseye trailer winds down, a brief shot of the back of Agent 47's bald, barcoded head looking out over the neon-drenched city appears. "Ohhhhh! That's fire," screams one person in the audꦓience.

The CEO of IO Interactive, Hakan Abrak, took the stage to say, "You may have notic🍒ed Agent 47 will be contracted for a very special assignment in Red Rock City."

Agent 47 will be a playable character in a po✃st-launch mission made by the Build a Rocket Boy devs, not IO.

It's a 🦹fascinating collaboration to be announced before the game is even out, as we don't really know what the tone of M𓂃indseye is just yet.

Thꦫe premise is protagonist Jacob Diaz is a former soldier whose neural implant cou🐼ld save humanity from a rogue AI.

The devs are promising to add new material every single month, creating an "ever-expanding player experience," so this could be the first collaboration of ma𒀰ny.

So far, Mindseye looks like a cross between Watch Dogs, GTA, with maybe a little hint of Cyberpunk thrown in, so I'm not too su🍨re where Hitman and its stealthy sandboxes fit in. We'll have to wait until summer to find out how these post-launch m🅺issions and monthly expansions work in-game.

15 years after the banger that was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Scott Pilgrim Vs. Scott Pilgrim EX is an online four-player brawler that looks to be recapturing the River City Ransom-vibes of the previous Scott Pilgrim game, using what looks to be a fully-explorable map like River City Girls. Its trailer promises seven playable characters, but only shows off Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers. Given the previous game had Wallace, Knives, Stephen, Kim, and Nega Scott, I could see Tribute Games r𒅌eusing the same cast as last time. Although, given her role in animated show Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, I could see them adding Ramona's ex-girlfriend Roxie Richter to that list this time.

EX is pegged to launch in 2026 on consoles and PC (only Nintendo Switch however, there's no 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 version), and it will have an original story written by Bryan Lee O'🎀Malley (the creator of the Scott Pilgrim series). Not only that, but ♌indie band Anamanaguchi to compose the soundtrack following their incredible soundtrack for the original game and their songs for the animated show.

Trib🌼ute Games was founded by Jonathan Lavigne, who worked on the original Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World game at Ubisoft, so the developer is a natural fit for another Scott Pilgrim title. But even without that connection, TMNT Shredder's Revenge is one of the best beat 'em ups of the las🐼t decade, so Scott Pilgrim EX should be in good hands, regardless.

Sonic's Takashi Iizuka dunks on Mario Kart World as Sonic Racing Crossworlds unveils Hatsune Miku, Persona 5, and Minecraft Steve.

After years of waiting that saw 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dying Light: The Beast turn from Dying Light 2 DLC into a full, standalone game, it๊'s finally releasing this August. The news was announced during today's Summ🐻er Game Fest kickoff stream.

Dying Light: The Beast launches August 22 across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The news comes alongside a new trailer showcasing a load of in-game action featuring everything you've come to ꦫexpect from Dying Light. Namely rooftop pa😼rkour, terrifying undead, and even worse humans.

The Beast was originally set to be DLC for 2022's Dying Light 2, but after the "very eager community" leaked key story details in 2023, the team pivoted to ex🌃pand the concept into a full, st🐻andalone game. It's still a smaller experience, with roughly 18 hours of playtime to co🔥mplete the mai💎n story, but that sounds heavenly in the mode♊rn sea of open-world titles🌳 we now find ourselves immersed in.

The Beast launches at a price of $59.99, according to the game's which is a few steps cheaper than what we've come to expect from the typical AAA launch. $80 games may be upon us, but at least we've got some smaller experiences like this and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mafia: The Old Country to respect our time and money in equal measures.

Watching the first half hour of the big 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 keynote today was an exercise in patience as I waded through an ocean of dark fantasy Soulslike reveals hoping for something different to bob above the surface like some divine emergency raft, an๊d Out of Words was exactly that lifeline for me.

Out of Words is a co-op platformer with big It Takes Two energy, but with a genuinely gorgeous stop-motion animation style that, according to presenter🔴 Lucy James of GameSpot fame, is entirely crafted by hand. Think Harold Halibut but even prettier. (Sorry, Harold.)

I mean, just look at this thing:

According to Out of Words' Epic Games listing, where you can wishlist the game, the🌌 story takes place in "the colorful realm of Vokabulantis" and is about the first time dual protagonists Kurt and Karla hel💝d hands.

"Out of Words is a journey for two, and this adventure will require cooperation, communication and perfect timing between y💝ou and your co-player," reads the description.

Sounds a lot like It Takes Two, huh? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Split Fiction, bu꧙t I found It Takes Two's story to be a lot more engrossing and emotionally impactful. There's no telling if Out of Words will resonate in the same way, but it's encouraging that it seems to deal with a struggling romance like It Takes Two, a topic that hits that much harder when you're playing with your partner.

Some of the physics-based puzzles in the trailer look pretty inventive, and it seems like there's a lot that tinker around with the game's gravity system in neat-looking ways. Epic confirmed that you'll be able to play onliꦐne and in couch co-op.

Out of Worꦚds is in co-development at games studio Kong Orange and stop-motion animation studio Wired Fly, with a vague "coming soon" release window on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Epic.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games to play right now.

There was an audible groan as Geoff Keighley name-dropped Hollow Knight: Silksong on stage at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, only to bait-and-switc🅺h us with a Deadpool VR game.

Obviously, we've been waiting for Silksong for years, so when Keighley read a fake note from his production team which riffed on the idea of 'you can put that Hollow Knight Silksong💟 trailer away and replace it with this', you know he knew exactly what he was doing. To be clear, he said the words "Hollow Knig𒐪ht Silksong trailer," and then threw them back in our face.

The Deadpool VR game looks like it might be pretty good if you're into that kind of thing, with plenty of pretty gnarly movement and the kind of potty-talk you'd expect from the merc with a mouth. It's even a ver✤y impressive bౠit of voice work, Neil Patrick Harris standing in as Wade and doing such a good job that I genuinely thought the devs had managed to pin Ryan Reynolds down. It's got the vibes down, but the problem is that the vibes really don't account for dangling what would have been the show's biggest announcement in front of players.

The wait for Silksong has been so long that I'm pretty sure we've heard a joke like that on a major, potentially even Keighley-shaped stage in recent memory. But it's at fever pitch right now because, as we get into one of the bigge🐽st announcement periods of the year, Hollow Knight: Silksong 's Steam backend has been a veritable hive of activity. That might mean nothing, but when you've had a community on tenterhooks for years, a bait-and-switch like that one is doubly hurtful.

Keep all the way up to date with our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest schedule.

No, you're not hallucinating: Geoff Keighly just announced an indie boxing game staring puppets called Felt That: Boxing. Honestly, I think myself and every other viewer of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 thought they had somehow ingested illicit drugs through osmosis, but this absolutely bonkers-looking game is very, 𒈔very real.

San String 𝓰Studio's debut title is if Rocky was produced by Jim Henson. This first-look trailer gives us a look at Ezra "Fuzz-E" Wright, an "unadoptable orphan," as he trains to become the next champion at the Tournament of a Million Punches. Within the first 30 seconds, a scraggly-looking puppet who can't definitively be ruled out as Mickey Goldmill reincarnated, calls the protagonist a "little sack of fuzzy shit," and immediately I wanted this game.

The real-time puppꦡet boxing game is made in collaboration with the animators at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and looks ༺about as realistic as you can get when you put some puppets in a video game.

According to San String Studio, Felt That promises to be both hilarious and hear🌃tfelt, and while the latter wasn't evident in the trailer, the humor is something that it will clearly deliver on. Felt That: Boxing has no release date but, you can currently wishlist this fuzzy oddity on Steam.

This new Game of Thrones strategy game will let you change one of the final season's biggest moments, and it's coming next year

Mina the Hollower has been near the top of my indie wishlist for years. The Shovel Knight devs using their 8-bit bonafides to build a Game Boy-🎃style Zelda tribute with Castlevania vibes? That's a fantast๊ically exciting pitch, and today at Summer Game Fest the folks at Yacht Club Games finally confirmed the release date and revealed a free demo for the game. After a bit of time with an advanced version of that demo, I can confirm that Mina's been worth the wait.

Yacht Club announced today t🍌hat Mina the Hollower will launch on October 31 for PC. You can try the game for yourself right now with a free demo on Steam. This lands slightly ahead of Steam Next Fest, but it's still technically part of the event - which means you should be prepared for it to 💜disappear around June 16.

It's definitely worth clearing some time to try it out, too. I got advanced access to the demo, and much like Shovel Knight, Mina the Hollower builds on its retro influences to create something at once fresh and nostalgic. Take Link's Awakening 🌞at a base, slather it in Castlevania aesthetics and subweapon choices for spice, and you'll have the basic idea, but it's much more than that.

The demo covers the opening stage of the game, where you find yourself shipwrecked and have to fight your way through a maze of adorably spooky creatures. You choose your starting weapon from a selection of three options, and each feels meaningfully distinct from one another🥂. The speedy daggers are probably my favorite - they do feel the most like the Link's Awakening sword, after all - but the others let you lean into your own playstyle.

Mina the Hollower

I initially chose the mace-laden whip, which gives you excellent reach over your enemies at the expense of leaving you quite vulnerable to count💮er-attacks. A certain brand of high-impact weapon sicko out there will certainly dig the hammer, which you can charge up for a massive crashing attack. The catch is that you'll be stuck in place while you charge, with only a limited dodge roll to get you out of harm's way while you prepare your attack.

The action is much more taxing, and subsequently satisfying, than you'd expect from a Zelda-style adventure game, and you'll face a stiff challenge from each roomful of baddies. Tying it aꦓll together is a move that lets you burrow underground, popping out in the air afterward. This works as a dodge, a platforming move, and♒ puzzle-solving maneuver all at once, and really helps to give the action its own identity.

You can finish the Mina the Hollower demo in well under an hour, but I found myself drawn back to check out the other weapons and see how cleverly I could speed through the opening areas. The demo is everything I'd hoped it would be, and it's definitely a game that shouldn't be lost in the shuffle as the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 schedule rolls on.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Arc Raiders, a sci-🉐fi extraction shooter which has quietly, and sometimes less quietly, become the eight most-wishlisted game on Steam, finally has a release date: October 30, 2025.

Announced at tonight's big 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest live show, the Arc Raiders releas🐻e date reveal follows the game's second tech test, which developer Embark Studios says was instrumental in fine-tuni🌜ng the game in these final stretches.

"You gave us thoughtful, sharp feedback, and the test helped us hone in on plenty of things we’re ad🙈dressing in the last stretch of development: there are bugs to squash, as well as general polish✱ and performance improvements to be done," .

"We're fine-tuning game balance and the player eco🤡nomy, and will work on an even better onboarding experience for players who come in new to this genre."

With release now just months away, Grøndal adds that "the game will also be expanded, with more locations to explore, more ARC enemi𝕴es to fight, a larger selection of weapons and gear to find and craft, more adventures to embark on, and more for players to strive towards and discover."

Embark says it's in it♒ for the long haul, setting up plans to "grow, evolve, and support ARC Raiders af🎃ter release."

Arc Raiders is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Its October 30 release date puts it relatively close to the planned September launch of Bungie's Marathon, another 🐽extraction shooter vying for a slice of the genre's perhaps ♚too-small pie.

This story is developing.

LEGO Voyagers is a new two-player co-op puzzle adventure that's coming from the team behi𓂃nd one𓄧 of my favorite ever puzzle games.

Unveiled a few moments ago at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, Lego Voyagers comes from the studio behind LEGO Builder's Journey, which might have gone under your radar because it was one of the earliest games to launch via Apple Arcade. It w𓄧ould be two years until it made its way to Steam, where its positive reviews have been gradually trickling in over the past few years.

LEGO Voyagers captures much of the chill vibes of its predecessor, which revolved around an 'adult' brick helping its 'child'🌸 through a series of puzzle-based dioramas. Now, 🌠however, it's two bricks jumping into building-based co-op on equal footing, in a surprisingly large-scale step up from the original game.

Two surprisingly animate bricks jump around a series of LEGO vistas, by train, catapult, and even, apparently, rocket ship. where B🐼uilder's Journey had you placing bricks in just the right places, however, Voyagers seems to offer a touch more freedom, letting you piece together...pieces however you please to let you progress. It looks adorable, and it's re-unlocked Builder's Journey in my brain, which I'm very grateful for.

LEGO Voyagers is co🐟ming to PS5, PS4, PC, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, but there's no releas𒐪e window just yet.

Just like the MCU, Marvel Comics has a brand new incarnation of the New Avengers. And just like in the MCU, the new comic was originally billed as Thunderbolts*, before its actual title was revealed. We've got a preview of The♋ New Avengers #1 showing how the team gets its start.

It all comes down to Bucky Barnes, who takes the lead as a badass action hero alongside his rekindled paramour Natasha Romanova, the Black Widow, with the pair getting together – both romant🎉ically and heroically – for a new mission.

Here's the preview by writer Sam Humphries, artist Ton Lima, colorist Rain Beredo, and letterer Joe Sabino, along 🦹with the cover by Stepheꩵn Segovia:

"Carnage. The Hulk. Namor. Clea. Wolverine. Five of the most dangerous loners and antiheroes in the Marvel Universe. Nothing could make them work together…but Bucky Barnes and the Black Widow are going to give it 🗹a shot," reads Marvel's official description of New Avengers #1.

"Demented duplicates of the Illuminati are threatening the world, and if they figure out how to work together, they'll be as unstoppable as the originals. Bucky and Natasha need al🀅lies who will do anything to take the duplicates out - but wrangling a team of killers and monsters presents its own dangers. Welcome to the New Avengers - hope you survive the experience!"

Bucky and Natasha are both accomplished Avengers in their own right, so the two of them co-leading a team makes sense, especially with other longstanding Avengers like Namor and Hulk in the mix. But there are definitely some wildc🦄ards on the team, especially Carnage, who is usually one of Spider-Man's most bloodthirsty foes, though the symbiote is now controlled by Eddie Brock, who is much more of an anti-hero.

New Avengers #1 goes on sale June 11.
