Video game movies, by and large, don't have the greatest reputation.

But when an adaptation of one of the biggest gaming franchises of the moment - Assassin's Creed - our interest was certainly peaked.

A-List talent + kick-ass action (assassinatin♏g throughout the ages) + and an intriguing sci-fi hook = future box office gold.

So we met up with the people clo🏅sest to the series - the designers, producers and architects behind the forthcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag video game (available the end of November on Xbox One), to grill them on who they think Fassbender will play, what key AC tenets they need to make a movie work, and a rundown of their own favourite movie assassins of all time.
